All Might stood at the ready, watching the building from a hidden vantage point. Green-Spider crouched on top of the building above him. The earpiece buzzed and he pressed it on.

"All combatants come in," Night-eye's voice came loud and clear. "Do you have contact."

"Contact established," All Might stated.

"Contact," Green-Spider said. Her voice is sharp and clear despite everything.

"Contact," Cherry-bomb said.

"I'm with In-Spider, why do I even need to-" Slick said.

"Contact!" Flame Fist said coolly. "Keep the coms clear, Slick."

"Contact," David said. The more sharply. "Visual! We have Visual!" David said, edging towards panic. "Shit, he really is a huge guy!"

"Language," Green spider said. "He really is though. Big M why didn't you warn us about him."

"I don't want to hear abou your husband's dick size," Flame Fist said.

"Now who needs to keep the coms clear," Slick teased.

"We can handle this on our own," Nighteye said.

"Not a chance," Slick said. "Cherry boy and I are coming."

"Why did you volunteer me for this?" he complained. "This isn't even my field-"

"Well, that's your problem, marrying a woman like my sister," Flame Fist said, with a cackle. Her voice sounded static.

"Oh, shut up, when are you gonna settle down, or are you going to leave the bloodline in my hands."

"Absolutely," Flame fist said. "Though I'm surprised you're the one doing it."

"Ha, just watch me, I'm gonna raise my boy to be great. Just watch me Hinote-ne."

"Hero names," Spider complained.

"Nobody's gonna hear us, Inko-chan," Slick and Flame fist teased.

"Spider, or Green Spider, do I need to remind you guys of who we're dealing with," Inko said.

"How's my soulmate's babies anyway, you two had better treat my Inko well or I'll have to steal her from you." Hinote said.

"Yeah, Big M, and Little D," Mitsuki shot, and she laughed.

"No way, if anyone is stealing Inko it's gonna be me, your a hundred years to early to win against me little sis." Mitsuki screamed.

"Guys," Spider tried, but then apparently she got pulled into the scuffle. The three women on the rooftop were giggling. "Stop, I'm trying to wo-ork." Spider giggled.

"All work and no play makes Hinote a very dull NB." Hinote said. Apparently redoubling her attack.

"Lemme go you jerk," Mitsuki went on.

"Never, you big sister must show her love," Hinote went on. Toshinori let the conversation wash over him for a moment, but refocused.

"Visual," He said. "Is it time?"

"Let me check," Nighteye said. "No- we'll need to wait a little longer."

Flame Fist had grabbed Spider before she could roll off the roof, only for her to fall. She didn't scream, but over the coms you heard a sharp intake of breath.

"What-What's going-?" David and Nighteye were almost in the perfect sink.

"Mitsuki?" called Cherry-Bomb called

"Shit!" Mitsuki said. "I'm fine, I'm getting to Hino-,"

A gunshot rang and another intake of breath was heard. Flames shooting out every now and the, but not sound other than labored breathing was heard from Flame Fist.

"Hinote do you need aid?"

"Go, I'll handle the guards," Hinote said. "These chumps aint got shit on me." She sounded a bit strained, but before Toshinori could think better of it Nighteye's voice came over.

"We need to move," he barked. "He's moving, we'll lose him!"

"Shit," David growled. Spider launched hearself toward the building that All for One had gone to. All Might and Nighteyes following.

"Spider keep low," he growled.

"Got it." She growled back. Slick and Cherry Bomb followed a little later.

"What's the plan?"

"Shit," Nighteye said. "Tangled manurer A, and fire start b. We've gotta a crash and burn on our hands.

More gun shots and less flames could be seen, and Flame Fist was now finding it hard to focus on their quirk, but they kept fighting, more hand to hand than anything now blood poured out of gun wounds, but they still didn't go down.

"I've got you!" Flame Fist heard a crackle from their com, which was on the ground. David's van crashed into a few of the guards, then he reversed. Hitting a few others, there was a sickening crack from one of the guards legs as he ran it over.

Flame Fist coughed up a lot of blood and fell to one knee as the world started to go fuzzy on the edges. David hopped out of the van, taking the last guy out with his passenger door and launched himself off the asphalt toward her.

"I'm gonna have to do emergency surgery," David said, pulling open Flame fists shirt and pulling out their med kit."

"Not going to have the….the…It's getting cold." Flame Fist said.

"Don't talk just stay with me," David got to work, he wished he was better at medical treatment. That he'd payed more attention to anatomy.

"What's happened?" Recovery girl said. Appearing in Flame Fist darkening vision. "Ah, I'~.." she kept talking but it was harder for Flame Fist to put meaning to the sounds. Then the world got clearer, and they were in so much pain. "Alright, you should be good until you get to the hospital.

"Thanks Recovery girl, I owe you one." Flame Fist said with their normal smile.

"It's no problem, but you'll probably still need medical treatment, I can't do a lot-" There was an ear piercing scream. The kind that sounded like a child, being tortured. There was an explosion from the building.

"What-"

"I need to-"

"Oh god,"

"We can't save her and beat All for One." Nighteye said. "We have to focus on him or we won't even survive."

"Gotta go." Flame Fist said, jumping up the biddings to find the child. "I got her love, you kick AFO's ass. See you at home." Flame Fist said.

"Be careful, she's got a guard-" but that's when the life left Flame Fist com went out.

"Flamefist? Flames- Hinote, Lo-," Nighteye said, seeing the future. "I-"

"Go, we've got him," Inko said. "Damn you, for hurting a child," She threw a whole chunk of wall at him as she wrapped him in strings soaked in Mitsuki's nitroglycerin. Which kept exploding at Cherry bombs touch. All Might was not pulling punches.

"Go, I think that we've got him beat," All Might said. So, Nighteye turned, he could see their victory even without his instruction. He needed to help Hinote. He needed to-he could see a hallway covered in blood. If he ran just a little faster….

"Hinote. Please." Nighteye said. "I didn't say it back, I couldn't say it back."

Flame Fist took the ear piece out looking at and turned on the tracker on it, putting it back in and going faster to get the kid. She saw the guard let out a big flame burning him, and grabbed the kid as she landed. She turned her back to the door as she got ready to jump down an explosion was heard and she braced herself for the fire as the two fell.

She wasn't sure how she didn't die, she'd tucked herself around the girl to protect her as she fell. She landed on something hard with her knees, she heard a crack, and she bit down on a cry as something hot filled her legs. She rolled down, head over heals, then rolled along her side. Something stabbed into her arm, but she bit back the cry. She was still alive, panted, forced herself into a sitting position, coughed, and looked down to the trembling girl in her arms. She was eight- or nine, she couldn't have been older the Malisa and Mai. The girl looked up at her with tears streaking down her face.

"Hey kid your ganna be ok now. Got it. Just run down there and don't look back." Flame Fist said running a hand throughout the kid's hair and putting the earpiece in hers.

"Wh-what about y-you?" the girl sobbed. "He-he'll get you. He'll do bad things to you like he did to mom-mommy." The girl gripped her, shaking her head. Something landed a bit aways, at the bottom of the building.

Flamefist turned to see the guard, face melting off from her flames. Bones popped and crackled as something black oozed from them. She hadn't used that much heat. Something was wrong with this guy. She wished she'd heard what Nighteye had said. Her vision wavered, she hadn't even noticed when she'd gotten into a protective position in front of the little girl.

"I have a powerful attack left but you need to get to safety before I can use it. Ok?" Flame Fist said as her veins started to glow under her skin.

"I-I n-" Flamefist heard the little girl's footfalls. "I'm sorry!"

"It's going to be okay now!" Flame Fist yelled to the kid as she started to gather what was left of her power.

"You really aught to," shot went off, something hit the villain in the head.

"Hinote!" Nighteye shouted, rushing over to her side. But he turned to face the villain pointing something that looked like a gun-no it was a gun. Where had he gotten a gun?" he fired to gun again. Hinote's eyes teared up, her vission wavered a little more. She'd been so ready to give up. She didn't want to die. She wanted to be with her soulmate. She could already see it. The bright future. A future without All for One looming over Toshinori. A future with her nieces and nephews, and soulmates. A future with Nighteye and the quite little place they'd built together. She could see herself becoming a mother. She even saw the girl's future. Bright and happy and full of love. She stood, Nighteye tossed her a gun and returned that hand to the gun. Hinote took it, she could feel hot pain burning inside her. But she could live through that. As she stood she heard a mind shattering crack and pain shot through her leg. She'd probably never walk again. But who cared. She'd have a whole life with

"Night she has the tracker, we can still save her." Hinote said, firing the gun and trying to stop the internal bleeding with her flames.

"I know," he said. "I saw it. Also your pretty predictable." The guy wasn't going down. Nighteye launched himself at the guy moving around him and firing from multiple different angles.

"Nighteye No!" Hinote said running and pushing him out of the way of the last shot just for it to hit her right above the heart.

"I'm fin-," The guard was healing faster, or something else, his skin was bubbling and- and popping some form of gas started filling the air. Nighteys shot away. "Don't breathe th-" Something crashed through the wall of the building. A grotesque creature, of cists and muscle, and disgusting popping noises. Nighteyes had to turn and focus his attention on it, and soon Hinote wasn't able to focus on him anymore. The first guard charged her, she hand to dodge his huge fist as he swung at her and growled, she had to fight the need to breath and the she could feel her strength fading. She didn't want to die. Creature hit the ground and it cracked, he pulled it out from under her and she had to maneuver away from him and back to her feet. It seemed to be trying to get her toward the other thing, and at the slightest hint of success it tried toward the ally the little girl had disappeared down. She fired at it, hitting a pipe that she hadn't know was there. It flailed backwards, thrashing as steam hit it in the face. The thing crackled and sizzled and popped. She heard a crash, and a groan, she turned in time to see the creature that Nighteye had been fighting land on top of him. She was about to go to him, when something grabbed her around the neck, pain bit into her, as her air was cut off. She kicked, thrashed, she heard a gunshot from Nighteyes' gun. Tears filled her eyes.

"Hinote, I'm fine," Nighteye said. He was struggling with something. The thing on top of him. A third creature came into view as her vision started to narrow. Blood came burbling up her throat. It was over. She closed her eyes, as she thought of the bright future one last time, one with Nighteye and her. One where she'd finally wear a wedding dress. One where she'd watch that girl graduate. A future that was out of reach. She opened her eyes.

"You Exteras are not going anywhere." Hinote said in a deathly calm voice as she lit up, she hadn't told anyone that she had mastered her ace in the hole. Nighteye would live but she wouldn't, but what did it matter if she lived and he died. She smiled saying she loved him and let out her last attack, and the world went dark.

Cherry Bomb and Slick made sure that Green and All Might had it handled before charging toward where Nighteye had disappeared. Spider stabbed a last series of strands into All for One. She wasn't even sure he was still alive, but he'd caused so much pain and misery. Hurt so many people, manipulated and tortured and controlled them. She wasn't ever letting him leave her web. Red blood dripped from him as she pulled her last strands tight.

"I don't think he's going anywhere," All Might said. Putting a hand on her shoulder, where the mark of their souls meeting lay. "Go, I know you're worried too." Spider looked up. Her expression unreadable under the dark multi-eyed mask. She nodded, putting a hand on Toshinori's arm before taking off after her platonic soulmates, her soul family. All Might sighed, looking up to All for one. Rage, agony, regret, all boiled under his skin. He wondered if it was all his, or if, in some part it was the previous weilders of One for All. All Might turned away, going to follow his wife and family to where Hinote and Nighteye had surely wrapped up the situation.

"Get back here," All for One's voice was rough and raw. From blood or screaming or both.

Risa left the woman behind as she ran. This place was like a maze, tears burned her eyes. What if she couldn't get far enough away when the man killed that woman. He'd catch her for sure, and he'd hurt her even worse. Risa paused looked back and forth choosing a path at random. She just had to run far enough away. That's all she had to do. Tears burned their way done her face. Her lungs felt like fire, and her muscles and joints felt like they were popping. He was right behind her she just knew it he was going to catch her. Something exploded in the distance, it made the world feel tight. Risa covered her ears as a harsh wind buffeted her even through the walls of the buildings. She turned back, she was surround by broken windows, glass strewn across the streets. She shook, now he was after her for sure. She turned and continued running, ignoring the glass as it bit into her feet.

Inko, had caught up with Cherry Bomb and Slick and they were heading toward an ally a bit of the ways away, when an explosion lit up the sky, sending a shockwave throught he area. Inko shielded her eyes, but when to wind stopped she looked up. There was a pillar of smoke in the area that Nighteyes tracker, and Hinote were presumably at. Inko shook in her hero costume, fear gripping her. She ran toward the smoke, where there's smoke there's fire, and fire ment Hinote.

"What was that?" All Might asked.

"Not what I think it is I hope?" Mitsuki said.

David and Recovery girl were finished the work on healing and cuffing the guards, when they heard the sound of the explosion. David who's back was turned, but who'd been standing between recovery girl and the source flinched only turning when it seemed safe. A pillar of smoke not far from where they were. In the general direction they'd heard the girl's scream from.

"I hope that girl's alright," Recovery girl said.

"I-I don't know," David said.

"Nooo!" Mirai kicked and screamed against the weight, trying to get the creature off him. Despite it loosing several pounds of body mass in the explosion it was still to heavy. "No! No! No, no, no," he said. Despite not being in the position of the vision he knew what he'd see. "No, nononono," he begged, trying, trying trying. He finally got some leverage, he pushed, pushed and suddenly it fell away and he'd pushed so desperately that he rolled off the small ledge with it, flopping on all fours. He crawled. "No, no, no." he said. More slowly, but there it was. The body of his soulmate, "No, no, no," he said, crawling the rest of the way to Hinote's side. He knew it was pointless. He already saw it, he could see her funeral, the way Inko, and Mitsuki clung together at her grave, the way Toshi, and Masaru would try to consol them, David would be trying to keep Melissa and Mai from screaming. Mai from trying to grab the urn. Or god the urn. How could Hinote fit into something so small. So, so, small. How could a woman so loud and energetic and- and. He wrapped himself around Hinote. Sobbing into what was left of her face and hair. "No, no. Hinote, come back. Come back to me. I never- I never told you. I should have told you, I knew all the-" He saw little tine Izuku and Izzie holding onto Inko's legs. Asking where Auntie Hinote is. Mitsuki crying harder as Katsuki stood stoically to the side, fighting tears, and sniffling. "Hinote, please, please wake up." He saw what was left of her face smiling at him. In the same expression she'd been wearing when the flames took her. Her flames took her. He saw Katsuki get annoyed tackling Izuku to the ground trying to make him stop asking.

"Why's that man holding Auntie Hinote's picture?"

It was the first vision truly from his perspective. And he saw it all from behind Hinote's picture. Her smiling face. In the place of a grieving spouse. But he and Hinote would never get married. He'd never hold her hand in public, or here her say.

"Of course, I've been waiting forever for you to asks."

He'd never see her hold their children. He'd never sit with her, as she demanding how they'd grow up. He'd never kiss her again. Hold her hand again. He didn't want to except it. He could see all of they're potential futures, crumbling around her. All the possibilities that Hinote had brought were gone now. Now all he could see was her funeral. Grieving friends, and a lover who'd never said I love you. He said it now, whispered into her burnt ears, sobbing it into her once soft, wild hair. The smile that was frozen on her face would never leave.

Inko stumbled into the area, seeing the fire, seeing Nighteyes curled around a body, sobbing. Inko, felt the world go out from under her. She was just staring. She couldn't be seeing what she thought she was seeing. She wasn't seeing Nighteyes holding Hinote's corpse. She couldn't be seeing him grieving her friend.

Risa couldn't find her way through the labyrinth, she stumbled searching, but no matter where she turned she always ended up facing the flames. The flames where she was sure the monster waited for her. But she couldn't get away. She couldn't escape. She fell, sobbing into her knees. She couldn't get away. They wouldn't let her. She looked up. She grit her teeth. If she was going back she was going back on her own terms. She stood wiping her face. She wouldn't heal her father. No matter what she wouldn't let him use her mommy's quirk to heal him. She'd destroy it first. She sniffled, starting her way back. Her father's monsters wouldn't hurt her if she went back on her own at least. She sniffled, stumbling into the place where the smoke was coming from and… Heard crying.

There was a crater in the ground where one of her fathers creation lay in pieces. And the woman who had helped her before, was on the ground. She was all broken and burnt but… maybe just maybe she could use her mommy's quirk for something good. Maybe that's why Mommy hugged her right before it took her away.

"I CAN HELP!" Risa yelled, jumping out of a shadow and running to Nighteye and the family she wanted more than anything.

"Ri-" the man who was holding the woman said. "I-huh." his eyes changed colors all of a sudden but she ignored that.

"I have mommies healing. And I can make it stronger. I can help. She needs it more than the monsters do." Risa said.

"What?" a woman in a green costume with lots of eyes said.

"Oh," A blond man said. "Oh, I'm- she's."

"She's still alive," Risa said pointing. "But her light's going away, really fast. I gotta catch it quick." She said waving her hands and grabbing. She held her breath as she almost seemed to create stitches. Hinote's body began to glow, Risa kept grabbing the little sparks of life she saw drifting away from the woman's body. She started to see the black marks like wounds where the light was leaking from and she started to work to patch them up. She felt hot and sticky but she kep going. Catching sparks and closing black wounds, and when the wounds were all gone and the woman was all filled back up with her sparks Risa finally let herself back into her body, she felt weak, sick even. Dizzy. She felt herself fall.

Risa and Hinote were glowing a dull green as Risa worked on the woman, she used more to help the people around her. She was not going to let any of her mommies' angels die. They were from her mommy, and way better than Father's monsters.

Hinote's throat felt painfully dry, as she woke up. Like she'd forgotten to drink any water during a long hard day. She coughed weakly and felt a twinge of pain. She whimpered, but forced her eyes open. She found herself lying on a hospital bed. Everything was too bright, she tried to look around and found that her head could barely move, still she managed to get a look at the private room she was nestled in. The tables were littered with cards, flowers and balloons. There was a tv, on the very far wall. A nurse bustled in.

"Oh, your really awak?" The woman said. "I thought there might have been some trouble."

"Where am I? Where is Sasaki?" Hinote asked in an hour's voice.

"Oh, we had to send him away," the nurse said, checking the machines that told her about Hinote's health. "It's not like the movies where you can just stay here in the hospital."

"I want my soulmate now. You fucking bitch." Hinote growled at the nurse.

"Calm down, or I'll have to sedate you and he'll have to wait even longer to see you," the woman said., shaking her head. "Your a little delirious, and quite a bit dehydrated, your quirk is quite hard on you."

"Yeah well you try dying and see how it feels." Hinote said with a grumble.

The woman looked softer when she turned back to Hinote. Back to being a nice nurse. She put a hand on Hinote.

"I do have some experience with patients who've had trauma like that," she confirmed. "So, I do understand how and why you're upset. But I can't control the hospital's policies. If it had been up to me I'll have only sent him home for clothes and toiletries and let him stay. "You've both been through quite enough without adding soulmate sickness to the list." She sounded annoyed at the last part.
"Can my soul family, and real family come see me. Fuck self distrucking not doing that again." Hinote said as pain started to register in her brain. The nurse patted her hand gently.

"Yeah, now that you're awake they can come visit, and we can start you on the road to recovery," The nurse said. "Oh, I was told to tell you that everything on the mission was wrapped up nice and safely." the woman said, giving her another firm pat. "Now, the faster I get your screening down the faster I can call your family over. Okay? Do you feel up for that?"

"Yeah sure whatever." Hinote said with a kind smile.

"Alright," the nurse said. "Your eyes look pretty dilated, do you see alright? I'm going to turn on a flashlight in your eyes, like the movies alright?"

"Yep not my first concussion, or broken bones, or torn muscles, or puckered lung." Hinote said, telling her everything that Hinote at least knew of before her loss of consciousness.

"Alright," the nurse said. "I was warned that you'd talk like a little shit." She once again patted her arm, before getting to work. The woman went through a few examinations, and asked a few questions. Mostly standard.

"Alright," the nurse said. "I'll call your family to let them know you're awake." She said, snapping the pen to the clipboard.

In less than an hour; Mirai, Inko, and Mitsuki came in. Mirai took one of her hands, and Mitsuki took the other, Inko buried her face into her blanket and soaked it through immediately.

"We thought you were going to die," Inko sobbed.

"Inko-chan, you're going to ruin the medical equipment," Mitsuki said. "But seriously. We weren't sure you were going to make it."

"Yeah no can't get rid of me that easily. How is Mirai holding up?" Hinote said, fighting tears. Mirai laughed, but it was a watery sort of laugh. He smiled at her, tears falling pretty freely despite how genuinely happy he looked.

"I love you," he said, kissing her suddenly.

"Whait who are you. You can't be my soulmate. He would never say thoughts words, he justs nods or blushes." Hinote said getting a good look at Mirai.

"I love you," he said again. "I love, love, love you," his tears turning to sobs as he kissed her hand, up her arm, back down to her hand. "I love you, so, so, so, much." It almost sounded like a plea. "I love you." he said, kissing each of her fingers except the one incased in a heart monitor clamp, each kiss punctuated by a kiss.

"Should we leave?"

"Well I think he is broken. Or I hit my head too hard. But did we find the kid? Is she safe? Has she been eating?" Hinote said, sounding like Inko, about her kids. Mirai laughed, this soft kind of laugh that was almost drowning in tears. He kissed her face, her cheeks, her eyebrows. Continuing to tell her just how much he loved her. "I get it, i get it, but the-" he touched her lip which stopped her talking, and then he kissed her mouth again.

"Seriously, should we leave?" Mitsuki said. Hinote flipped them off, smiling into the kiss.

"The girl's fine, Hinote," Inko said. "She woke up about the same time as you. They were actually planning to move her in here with you just to keep her attached to her machines. If that's alright with you." Hinote, gave a thumbs up, and answered between kisses.

"Yes as long as I get to keep the little thing." Hinote said, pushing Mirai off her face long enough to say that.

"I knew you'd say, that so I've already started the adoption process," Mirai said, dotting her check and jaw with kisses, before returning to her mouth.

"Okay, we love you, glad you're awake," Mitsuki said. "We'll leave the two of you alone."

"Once your feeling better, come by okay, the whole family is worried about you." Inko added as the two disappeared through the door. Mirai kept kissing her, he moved to kissing her all over her face, though he'd pause to give her the chance to return the favor occasionally.

"Seriously, if this is how your going to be I should nearly die more often," she joked. He laughed, it was a half choked sob.

"Please don't," he said.

"Bad taste?"

"Very bad taste," He said. "But please."

"I won't do you know how bad everything hurts. Self distrucking is a huge no no now." Hinote said with a smile.

"Oh, sorry, I shouldn't be half on top of you," he said, turning a familiar shade of red, as he started to move away. But She caught him by his shirt..

"Did I say get off? No now get back here." Hinote said, pulling him back. He managed to keep himself off her.

"I'm fairly sure your nurses are going to hate me," He said, going back to kissing her.

"We'll be fine as long as my heart rate doesn't go up. Just like last time you were in here." Hinote said. Mirai laughed, grinning into her mouth.

"Yeah, just like last time," he said.
