Blame Del-la-sol for this one. Reading through her fic "We're Heroes...Technically" made me want to write an IzuMoe fic as well. So blame her. With that said, I hope you enjoy the first chapter of this new fic!

Igniting a Flame
The last class ended with the ring of the bell. As soon as the bell rang, everyone started packing up their things. It was there, that a literally fire-haired girl was one of the first to leave, ready to get out of the boring school and ready to start the weekend.
Said girl's name was Moe Kamiji, and her quirk, Utility Flames, allowed her to manipulate the flames of her hair into many different tools and constructs for her to use. Her flames could go down to about three inches before she started drawing her flames from her very body temperature. While it did help for bigger constructs, she would get frostbite quickly if she used too much.
Moe was very developed for a middle school girl with a very fit build with a nice set of breasts and an attractive ass and thighs. Many a boy thought Moe was very attractive, but due to her rather fiery and aggressive personality, they tended to steer clear of her in that manner. Speaking of which, two of them were talking about her at the moment.
"You gonna ask her out?" Moe heard a boy in her class ask.
"Kamiji? Hell no! She'd bite my head off!" Another boy said.
"Seriously? C'mon, be brave! You could have a real sexy hothead in bed-"
"Hey! I can hear you!" Moe snapped angrily, storming up to the two boys.
Moe's hair was an inferno as she approached the two boys, who were cowering in fear at her glare.
"You think I'm just some skank just because of how I look? I should kick both your asses!" Moe snapped, causing both boys to flinch.
When they didn't answer, Moe continued.
"But luckily for you dickless cowards, I'm trying to be a hero. So scram before I decide to really make you pay!" Moe snapped.
The two boys flinched once more before running away. As they left, Moe released a growl-sigh. Perverts were a dime a dozen in her crappy school. And she barely had any friends due to her personality. She wouldn't admit it, but she felt somewhat lonely having no one to talk to. After a moment, she shook those thoughts from her mind and decided to resume leaving her school. After changing shoes, she left the schoolyard.
She was about halfway home when she heard an echo of an explosion. Concern gripped her as she wondered what happened. Had a villain attacked someplace close? Only one way to find out.
Moe started to increase her pace in the direction of the explosions and when she arrived, she noticed she was wrong in assuming a villain was attacking. Instead, it was a blond haired boy her age with an aggressive sneer staring down at a fearful green haired boy with green eyes and freckles. The boy looked kind of adorable.
"Well? You said you had such a great quirk right? Then go ahead and use it!" The blond boy goaded.
"I-I can't..." The green haired boy said shakily.
"You can't? Why's that? Because it's useless?"
"Hey!" Moe shouted, getting the blond's attention.
The greenette's gaze was drawn to her as well. The look of hope filling his face made her chest pang slightly. She refocused on the blond who was glaring at her.
"Fuck off Fire Hair Bitch. This doesn't concern you!" The blond said before turning back to the greenette.
Moe saw the look in the greenette's eyes turn back to fear as he focused on the blond once more. As Moe was about to step in to help, she felt her fire being pulled away from her. Observing her hair, she noticed it was being pulled in front of the greenette, taking the form of a shield between him and the blond.
The blond was surprisingly shocked at the demonstration and Moe was surprised and curious as to what the greenette's quirk was. She was shaken from her thoughts when she noticed the movement of the blond as he started running away. She watches as he ran before turning to the other boy, who was still wielding her fire. Her hair was nearly shoulder length rather than her normal length of just below the small of her back. It didn't seem like he was releasing her hair anytime soon, either.
"Hey, you done using my hair? Blondie's gone." Moe said, causing the boy to flinch.
She saw her flames flow back to her hair as the boy released his quirk. He then started bowing rapidly, apologizing up, down, and sideways over taking her fire. It was kind of amusing, drawing a smirk from the fiery haired girl.
"Hey, relax, Greenie. I'm just glad it helped shoo that bully away. You alright?" Moe asked in a more curious tone.
"Y-Yeah... I am..." The boy said, blushing slightly.
"My name's Moe Kamiji. What's your name?" Moe asked, a grin retaking her features.
"M-My name's Izuku... Midoriya..." The greenette said.
"Midoriya, huh? So, you seemed to control fire back there. Why didn't you try defending yourself earlier?" Moe asked with a raised eyebrow, placing her hands on her hips.
"O-Oh, that? Well... I can manipulate fire, but... I can't really produce it... I need to have a source..." Izuku said, looking down slightly.
"That's actually quite interesting, Greenie." Moe said.
"G-Greenie?" Izuku asked with a blush.
"Yep. I'll call you that now. Why, you got a problem with that?" Moe asked.
"N-No, not really..." Izuku squeaked, blush increasing.
Moe had to keep herself from giggling in response to Izuku's embarrassment, only letting an amused smirk through.
"Well anyways, I think that's a rather interesting quirk. From what it seems, you can take it from any source, right?" Moe asked.
"Y-Yeah, pretty much. As long as it's a prolonged flame, I can grab it and manipulate it into whatever I want to use it as." Izuku said with a nod.
"That's pretty neat. Anything that's burning, you can just take those flames away and stop the fire entirely." Moe theorized.
"Yeah... I guess that's true."
"You planning on being a hero?" Moe questioned.
"Y-Yes! More than anything, I want to be a hero." Izuku said with the first sign of confidence Moe's seen in the boy.
Moe's smirk increased to a full on grin.
"Well then, Greenie, I think we're gonna be fast friends, as I, too, want to become a hero." Moe said.
"F-Friends?" Izuku asked in disbelief.
"Well, duh." Moe said.
"I-Isn't it rather sudden? I mean, you just met me-"
"It doesn't matter if it's sudden or not. From what I've seen, you seem to be the guy who needs some positive reinforcement in his life. And like it or not, I'm gonna be the one to give it to you. So you're gonna become a hero with me and you're gonna like it!" Moe said with a feral grin.
Izuku stared at Moe in surprise for a good few moments. A friend? Aside from Kacchan, he didn't really have any friends. And the smile she gave him, while somewhat intimidating, held a certain beauty to it that he couldn't help but blush from.
"O-Okay..." Izuku said shyly.
Moe smiled wider.
"Alright, Greenie. You got a phone?" Moe questioned.
"Y-Yes..."
"Gimme."
Izuku didn't even think as he quickly gave Moe the phone. She typed something into the phone and gave it back to him. He looked to see Moe's number put into his phone.
"Starting tomorrow, we're gonna be working that twig of a frame into something a bit less skinny. You need to get some physical strength if you want to contend with some of the other hero hopefuls out there." Moe said, a grin still on her face.
"W-What?"
"You deaf from blondie's explosions? I said we're gonna train tomorrow." Moe said. "O-Oh."
Moe sighed, calming her excitement to make sure he was alright with it.
"Are you alright with that? If I'm pushing too hard, you don't have to." Moe said in a softer tone.
"N-No, it's okay... I'm just... I'm surprised that someone... Finally wants to help me be a hero..." Izuku said, tearing up.
Moe didn't know what to think when she saw his tears, or when he started sobbing. But she did feel a distinct urge to kick the crap out of everyone who said he couldn't be a hero. Instead, she decided to try and calm him down.
Izuku was surprised when he felt a pair of arms wrap around him. When his head was brought to Moe's shoulder, he unintentionally let the dam break. And Moe simply stayed there, letting him let it all out. He was there for a while before he managed to calm down. When he did, she released him from her hug. She wore a softer smile on her face.
"You feel better now?" Moe asked.
Izuku nodded and when he did, her more energetic side came back.
"Good! We're gonna have to work on your crying. People don't like seeing heroes cry. They're supposed to bring people hope, are they not?" Moe asked with a wide smile.
Izuku found himself smiling in response, Moe's energy bleeding through to him. "Yeah, they are." Izuku said.
"Exactly! Now, I gotta get back home. I'll text you where we're gonna meet up tomorrow, alright?" Moe asked.
"R-Right..." Izuku said shyly.
"See ya, Greenie!" Moe said before jogging away, leaving Izuku where he was.
As Moe walked away, she couldn't help but smile proudly. Not only did she do her first majorly heroic deed, but she got a friend out of it as well. Her spirits were high as she made her way home, eagerly looking forward to the following day.
Izuku remained where he was after Moe left, processing what the hell just happened and if it was actually real. He kept looking at the name in his phone as well as the phone number.
'I just talked to a girl! And she's now my friend! Holy crap!' Izuku thought to himself in disbelief.
He shook his head, slapping his cheeks, trying to calm his panicking mind. He took some time to calm down as much as he could before he started off on his journey home. He really hoped he could calm down fully before he got home. He didn't want to explain to his mother why he was so jittery and smiling like an idiot.
Unfortunately for him, as he got home, his smile didn't calm down at all. And when he told his mother, she pulled him into a hug filled with joyful tears. She was so happy he managed to make a new friend. He made sure to not mention that it was a girl, otherwise she'd flood the whole house instead of just the living room.
After the tear-filled celebration his mother put him through, they went on to dinner. To celebrate gaining a new friend, Izuku's mother made Katsudon for him. After dinner, Izuku, in his excitement, decided to get ready and go to bed early. Just as he was about to climb into bed to sleep, he heard his phone vibrate on his nightstand. He went over and blushed slightly when he saw Moe had texted him. He opened it and read what she sent him.
Moe: Hey, Greenie! You there? Or did I bluescreen your brain when I left?
Izuku blushed in response to the message. He took a few deep breaths to summon enough
confidence to reply.
Izuku: I'm here. I was just about to go to sleep.
Moe: I was gonna go to sleep soon, too. I figured I should tell you about where we're gonna meet tomorrow.
Izuku: Oh yeah. So where are we going to be training at?
Moe: Since I didn't really have any money to go to an official gym, I've been cleaning up this
beach that's just littered with trash. It's called Dagobah Beach. Know where that is?
Izuku took a moment to think if he knew where Dagobah Beach was. He remembered going there a couple times but he didn't remember hearing about it becoming littered with trash. He shook from his thoughts to reply to Moe.
Izuku: Yeah, I know where it is. Is that where we're going to be training?
Moe: Yep! We're gonna both be training our quirks and our bodies while also doing a good deed!
Izuku: When are we meeting?
Moe: At the crack of dawn! Gotta get to work early if we want to become great heroes! That means starting as soon as we can!
Izuku was surprised at the early time, but didn't question it, believing Moe knew what to do better than he did.
Izuku: Okay, I'll see you then. I'm going to get to bed so I'm not extremely tired in the morning. Moe: Alrighty! I'll see you tomorrow, Greenie! Goodnight!
Izuku didn't know why, but Moe calling him 'Greenie' felt very nice to see and, when they spoke when he first met her, felt very nice to hear. He found himself smiling softly as he typed out his reply.
Izuku: Goodnight. Sleep well.
With that, he placed his phone on his nightstand and turned off the lamp on said nightstand. He got comfortable in bed and closed his eyes, letting sleep overtake him and unintentionally thinking about Moe, more specifically her feral, yet attractive smile.
One thing's for certain, he was going to enjoy having a new friend, especially one that didn't want to beat him up and wanted to help him become a pro hero. But what he didn't know, was that this new friend was going to become more than a friend in the coming years...

Izuku woke up to two sounds. The first was his alarm and the second was his phone. He was confused as to who would call him at six in the morning. He didn't look at the caller ID as he pressed the button to stop his alarm before grabbing the phone and answering it.
"Hello?" Izuku muttered in a groggy voice.
"Time to wake up, Greenie! Get some workout gear on and meet me at Dagobah Beach in fifteen minutes!" Moe's voice hollered energetically through the phone.
"Y-You didn't have to call me to wake me up." Izuku muttered shyly through the phone.
"I know I didn't! But you better get used to these calls, 'cuz I'm gonna be doing that every day, including school days."
"Why?" Izuku asked.
"Because I feel like it. Now enough yappin'! Get your ass to the beach! You got ten minutes!"
"B-But you said I had fifteen minutes before!" Izuku said, his eyes widening.
"That's before you wasted five minutes talking to me, now go!"
"O-Okay! See you there!"
Izuku hung up on Moe and rushed to get ready. _
As she heard Izuku hang up, Moe gained a wide smile. She was still in her bed, which was a fireproof, yet fluffy, material that was a fiery red color with orange sheets. Her room had some posters with other fire-themed heroes. It wasn't really girly, but neither was Moe. At least outwardly.
As she looked at the clock, she stretched a bit before getting out of bed and getting changed. She was only five minutes from Dagobah Beach, so she didn't really need to rush. As she put her clothes on, she couldn't help but wonder about the blonde boy she encountered when she went to try and help Izuku. He was a problem, both for Izuku and, if he went to the same hero school she went to, for her as well.
She shook those thoughts out of her head, wishing to think about what she was about to do in terms of training Izuku. She knew he was practically a twig just from looking at him. Plus, even though his quirk control seemed passable, she had only seen him use it in a quite stressful situation. She still needed to see him use it outside of situations like that in order to understand how much control he actually has.
Putting the last piece of her workout gear on, she set off to Dagobah Beach, jogging there at a steady pace. When she got there, Izuku wasn't anywhere to be seen. That was good for her, as that allowed her to think a bit more on what to do first. She quickly set up a place for Izuku to work when he arrived.
Izuku soon arrived, panting heavily as he slowed to a stop. He bent over and kept sucking in breaths. Moe raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"You just sprint a mile or something?" Moe asked.
"N-No... I was... Running here... From my house..." Izuku said breathlessly. "And how far away is your house?" Moe asked.
"About... Ten... Minutes... Away..." Izuku said between pants.
Moe looked at him blankly before sighing, shaking her head.
"We're gonna need to work on that a lot more than I thought, Greenie." Moe said, shaking her head with an amused smile.
"Okay..." Izuku responded, catching his breath.
He suddenly felt something cold on his forehead, drawing his gaze up to the water bottle in Moe's hand as well as the soft look on her face.
"Drink up. Don't want you dehydrated for all our work. And by the looks of it, you need something to cool you off." Moe said, her soft look turning to an amused smirk.
Izuku reached up and took the bottle, breathing out a 'thanks' to her before downing half the bottle. Moe chuckled at his eager gulps.
"Once you recover a bit more, we're gonna get into some upper-body workouts. Sound good?" Moe asked.
"Yeah." Izuku responded before continuing to down his bottle of water.
After a few minutes, Moe dragged him to the place she set up. They arrived in front of a particular pile of trash. What Moe did was bring some of the smaller pieces of trash and put it into a pile for Izuku to work on.
"So you're gonna start off with this relatively light pile. I don't really want you to start out with the heavy stuff, because then you'll be doing more harm than good. So get started on bringing this to the dumpster beside the beach and I'll work on another pile. If you need any help, just call me." Moe said.
"O-Okay. I will." Izuku said.
Moe nodded before walking away, slipping behind a trash pile before peeking her head around the corner to watch Izuku. She wanted to make sure he wasn't floundering before actually getting started with her pile of trash.
She watched him start picking up pieces she felt were relatively light and frowned when she saw his shaking arms. He was a lot more weak than she initially thought. She kept watching for a few more minutes, watching him go back and forth with shaky armfuls of trash for a bit longer before she finally got started.
For the next couple of hours, Moe and Izuku cleaned up their respective piles. When she got the pile down a significant amount, she stopped for the day. She checked on Izuku to see him still working on his pile. She stood back and watched, knowing that if she helped, he wouldn't get anything from the workout.
After twenty more minutes, Izuku finally managed to finish his pile. Moe was actually impressed that he finished it with what she saw. Many times it seemed like he wasn't going to be able to continue, but right as she was about to tell him to stop, he would push himself harder and keep going.
At the end of it, he was on his hands and knees, mouth open and sucking in as much air as possible. His arms were wobbly as they held him up. Moe went to her bag and took out another bottle of water and brought it over to him. When she got to him, she bent down and helped him to his feet.
"C'mon, Greenie. The sand isn't any place for you to relax." Moe said, helping Izuku over to a nearby bench away from the piles of trash.
Izuku, at any other time, would have been furiously blushing at the closeness of a girl. But at the moment, he was too tired to care, simply accepting the help and collapsing on the bench when he was brought there. Moe watched him gulp down the water she gave to him with a smirk.
"Jeez, we've got a lot of work to do to get you up to my level. Luckily for you, the weight training portion of the day is finished. We're now going to be working on our quirks, starting with yours." Moe said, placing her hands on her hips and staring down at Izuku with a smirk.
Izuku didn't know why, but seeing her looking at him with that smirk made his chest feel weird in a good way. He found himself smiling slightly in response to her smirk. Seeing him smile made her smirk go wider.
"I see you're looking forward to that. Good! You'll have a break to catch your breath then we'll head over to a place I set up to practice my quirk." Moe said with a smile.
Izuku blushed slightly at the smile Moe gave him. It wasn't her usual feral smile, it was more excited than feral. His blush increased when Moe sat next to him, deciding to wait with him.
"So, Greenie, to pass the time, how about you tell me a bit about yourself." Moe said.
Izuku was surprised she wanted to know more about him. He didn't think she was interested in knowing about a guy like him. He blushed as he saw her staring expectantly at him.
"W-Well, what do y-you want to know?" Izuku asked shyly.
"Hmm... How about your reasons for becoming a hero?" Moe asked.
"O-Oh... Well... When I was young, I always watched All Might do all his heroics with a smile. Everyone he saved felt so safe when they saw his smile. I want to be like that, saving people and relieving them with a smile." Izuku said seriously with conviction.
Moe found her cheeks feeling slightly hotter than usual at the serious expression on Izuku's face. Her blush lasted for only a moment before smiling wide at Izuku.
"That's a good reason. I have a similar wish, just not with a smile. I'm not really that friendly." Moe said with a chuckle.
"Yeah you are." Izuku said, surprising her slightly.
"Nah, I'm not. I mean, have you seen my smile? Looks more scary than friendly." Moe said. "Not to me. It looks nice." Izuku said in a moment of brave honesty.
Moe, not having ever heard someone say that before, blushed in response, looking away and trying to calm herself down.
'C'mon, Moe! You're not a fucking school girl! Calm down! It's not like you just got complimented by a cute... nice... STOP!' Moe thought to herself, shaking her head rapidly a couple times before returning her gaze to a blushing Izuku.
"Well, I think you've rested up enough! Let's get started with our quirk training!" Moe said, standing from the bench and startling Izuku with the sudden movement.
Izuku quickly scrambled to his feet, still feeling slight fatigue but not wanting to give up on training. He followed Moe as she walked away, not noticing the blush on the girl's face.
'Why am I feeling this way? This is the second day of me knowing him for Kami's sake! I need to calm down!' Moe thought, slapping her cheeks a couple times and taking a deep breath.
They soon arrive at an open sandy area bordered by trash in a rectangular shape. A few trash piles were near the far end of the area that looked burned in places, signifying that they were targets for Moe's quirk.
"Alright, we're here! So, your quirk requires an active source of flame, right?" Moe asked. "Yeah, that's right." Izuku said, his mind switching to quirk related things.
"Then use my hair as a source of fire and try to hit those targets." Moe said with her usual feral grin.
"W-What? Are you sure?" Izuku asked.
"I'm sure. And don't worry, you won't fully extinguish my hair. My hair can go down to three inches in length before drawing from my internal temperature. So you have all this hair to use." Moe explained.
Izuku looked between her and the trash piles before taking a breath, closing his eyes and concentrating. Grabbing the familiar feeling of flames, he pulled, bringing the flames from Moe's hair to him. He opened his eyes to see a small ball of fire in front of his hand. He looked in amazement as the green flames swirled about in the ball. He looked to see Moe smirking as well,
gaining a blush as he did.
The flames slowly slipped away when he lost concentration, flying back to Moe's hair. He shook his head and regained his concentration as he turned to the trash pile targets. He swung his hand towards the first pile of trash and watched as the orb of flame shifted from a spherical shape into a long projectile of flame shooting at the trash pile. As it impacted it, the flames exploded where it hit before they returned to Moe's hair.
"Woah..." Izuku muttered in amazement, not having tried to do that before. "Woah?" Moe questioned.
"I haven't really... Done something like that before." Izuku said.
"You haven't?" Moe asked.
"I didn't really have any place to practice stuff like that. I've only moved fire around in the air. It's pretty fun to do so." Izuku said.
"Can you show me?" Moe asked, now curious as to what Izuku did with his quirk before that day. "May I use your hair again?" Izuku asked.
"Any time we're training, you're free to use my hair unless I say otherwise." Moe said, nodding. "Thanks. Now, uh... Like this..." Izuku said, pulling some of her flames to his hands.
Izuku proceeded to take the ball that formed in his hands and stretch it out into a single long tendril. He then started moving it through the air like an eastern dragon would have done. It twisted and turned in the air with grace that Moe found beautiful. After a bit the flame deteriorated and floated back to her hair. She looked at Izuku with curiosity.
"S-Sorry, I'm not used to using a lot of flames. I usually have candles that provide for it and their
flames aren't that big." Izuku said shyly. Moe chuckled in response.
"Well, starting today, we're gonna get you used to using larger amounts of flames for different things. Like this." Moe said before flexing her quirk.
Before Izuku's eyes, Moe's hair flowed from her head into a flaming shield on her hand. Izuku's eyes widened in wonder, causing Moe to smile wider.
"My quirk is called Flame Utility. I'm thinking it functions almost identically to yours, only my quirk uses flames from my own body and I am unable to use external flames.. If we work hard enough, we might get you to make stuff like this." Moe said with a smirk.
"W-Woah!" Izuku said in amazement.
"Yeah. But first..." Moe started before releasing her quirk. "We're gonna have to work your way up to that. So first, fire control. Let's get started." Moe said.
"Right!" _
For the rest of the day, they trained their control over their quirks. Izuku really enjoyed training with Moe. She pushed him, but always made sure he wasn't overexerting himself, always forcing him to take a break when he looked like he was about to fall over, despite any protests he gave her.
At the end of it, they sat at the bench, recovering some of their energy so they could head home. "So, how was that for your first day working out ever?" Moe asked with a smirk.
"It was... Amazing." Izuku said with a satisfied smile.
"Hah! Glad you liked it, Greenie. 'Cuz from today onwards, we'll be training hard until we get into UA." Moe said with a smirk.
"Even on school days?" Izuku asked.
"Of course! I mean, we'll get changed out of our school clothes before even thinking about working out, but still, we'll be training every day we have time for." Moe said, her smirk turning to a more genuine smile.
Izuku saw her smile and blushed, smiling in return.
"I look forward to tomorrow, then." Izuku said.
"Me, too. Now c'mon! Let's get going." Moe said, standing from the bench.
Izuku stood up from the bench before starting to walk his way home, noticing Moe following him. He didn't say anything, just happy he was able to spend a bit more time with her, even if it was spent in silence. As he got to the street his house was on, he stopped to ask Moe a question that was burning in his mind through the whole walk home.
"D-Do you live around here?" Izuku asked, blushing slightly.
"No." Moe replied.
"What? Then why are you walking with me?" Izuku asked.
"I wanna know where you live. Why? Do you not like walking with me?" Moe questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"N-No! No! That's not it at all!" Izuku sputtered, drawing an amused smile from Moe as she watched his speech devolve into muttering apologies for making it seem like he didn't like walking with her.
She blushed slightly when he said something along the lines of "I'd never hate walking with such a beautiful girl", but kept listening to his mutters, noticing he didn't even process what he said. Eventually, she stopped him.
"Izuku!" Moe said, shutting him up completely. She decided to keep talking now that he was silent.
"You didn't have to apologize. I understand you didn't know why I was walking with you. Now could you stop muttering before you die from oxygen loss?" Moe asked, the last part being a joke.
Izuku chuckled sheepishly.
"S-Sorry... I kind of do that a lot..." Izuku said.
"I've noticed..." Moe said, a smirk still on her face.
Izuku blushed slightly in embarrassment.
"W-Well, my house is just over there... I'll... Text you tonight?" Izuku asked.
"Of course! I won't be letting you get to sleep without at least a goodnight." Moe said with her usual feral grin.
Izuku's chest warmed when he saw the smile that he quickly grew to enjoy. He nodded, his blush still on his face.
"W-Well, stay safe on your walk home!" Izuku said.
"I will. You make sure you rest after the long day of training you had. Got it?" Moe ordered.
"Y-Yes I will!" Izuku responded.
"Good! See ya!" Moe said, waving once before turning and walking away.
Izuku watched her leave, finding himself smiling at her disappearing figure. She was so nice to him and it made him so happy. As she completely disappeared from view, he turned and went to the door to his house, opening it up and greeting his mother as he entered.
The rest of the night was calm, with Izuku telling his mother about how his first day of training went and what Moe said to him about resting for the remainder of the day. She agreed with his friend's orders, not wanting her baby to hurt himself with not resting.
After dinner, Izuku watched television with his mother, happily spending his time with her as he rested on the couch. At the end of the day, he retired to his bedroom, where he eagerly looked forward to Moe's text. And about ten minutes after he got ready for bed, she texted him.
Moe: Hey! You still awake? Sorry I didn't text earlier, I had to do a couple things. Izuku smiled as he responded.
Izuku: It's alright. I was actually waiting for you to text me.
Moe: You were waiting for me? Idiot! You could have just texted me, you know? I would have
just responded when I was done.
Izuku: Sorry! I didn't know if I should or not!
Moe: Ah, it's alright. Just remember that from now on. I don't have to initiate these texts. Moe: So! Tomorrow's gonna be different than today. What we're gonna be doing tomorrow is lower body workouts, meaning jogging and stuff. You able to do that?
Izuku: Well, does the run to the beach count?
Izuku silently hoped that it did count, as he didn't want to do another run on top of it. Moe: No.
Izuku groaned in disappointment before redirecting his attention to his phone again as Moe sent another message.
Moe: It never will. And the reason why is because once you do get used to that kind of workout, it won't even feel like anything to you. I will let you rest after you get to the beach, though. I don't want you to practically pass out after one lap around where we'll be running.
Izuku: Thank you!
Moe: You're welcome. Now, get to sleep. Before I come over to your house and make you sleep. Izuku: Yes, ma'am!
There was a pause, causing Izuku to think that Moe was laughing.
Moe: Goodnight, Greenie. See you tomorrow.
Izuku: Goodnight, Moe. Thank you again for helping me. Moe: It's my pleasure to help. Now sleep.
Izuku: Okay.
With that, Izuku placed his phone on his nightstand. He wore a soft smile as he looked at the phone. As he turned off his light and got comfortable in his bed, he could only think of Moe's feral smile. Why was it so attractive to him? And why did he always feel nice when around her? He fell asleep thinking of those questions, and because of that, the only thing he dreamt about was Moe all night.

Chapter Notes
Controlling A Heated Flame
I suppose I should say now for anyone who finds this fic in the future that Moe's quirk was decided before any information was shown on her and her quirk in canon, so of course her quirk is most likely not gonna be what I thought up. It would be cool if it was, though.

After the first day, Izuku and Moe met up every day to train. The weekends allowed them to train almost all day while school days only allowed them a few hours to train. Neither of them complained, enjoying the time they were able to train together. They quickly grew to enjoy one another's company way more than they would have thought.
Izuku and Moe, since they were their only real friends, tried to spend time with one another outside of training as well, routinely going to hero conventions, Izuku's pick, and to fighting tournaments, Moe's pick. Moe found it cute how he always geeked out at hero conventions. Much like how Moe found Izuku cute at conventions, Izuku found Moe cute whenever he saw her face when they watched fighting tournaments. She always wore a mixture of her excited smile and her feral smile, combining into an adorable mixture of happiness that Izuku wanted to see more of.
As the months went on and turned into a year, they revealed more about each other to one another. Moe's mother was out of the country, working in the UK while her father took care of her. Much to Moe's surprise, Izuku had a similar living situation, with the only differences being that his father was overseas and was in the United States while his mother took care of him. On the subject of his mother, Moe asked to meet her, which he was embarrassed about, but allowed nonetheless.
Inko loved Moe the moment she was introduced, pulling the fire-haired girl into a tight hug when she first met her. Moe was shocked as to how much the woman could cry without getting dehydrated. After the initial tearful meeting, Moe became embarrassed when Izuku started getting scolded for, in Inko's words, "never telling her about knowing such a beautiful girl". With the shade of red Izuku's face was when looking at her the rest of the day, she began to wonder if he liked her more than friends. Not knowing if she should ask, she decided to keep her thoughts on the matter to herself for the time being.
As for Moe's thoughts on Inko, she thought she was the sweetest woman on the planet. Moe never really had a motherly figure in her life, so she never knew the embrace of a mother until Inko came along. She quickly grew to love the green haired woman that was her crush's mother. And with
Inko knowing her, that meant she could spend even more time around Izuku while also having the benefit of having an absolutely wonderful motherly figure to spend time with.
Yes, Izuku was her crush. Being the kind of girl she is, she quickly acknowledged her feelings for the boy. But with him being her first and only real friend, she didn't want to ruin the friendship she had if he didn't feel the same. So she tried to keep those thoughts to a minimum.
Needless to say, being around Moe was a large help for Izuku. His confidence got a boost and any scathing remarks he had at school didn't affect them like they previously did. Bakugo certainly didn't like it, but at that point, Izuku didn't give a damn what the blond thought. And with the blond's new caution around Izuku from Izuku using his quirk, he couldn't back up any of his remarks either. Izuku wasn't the only one that changed either. Moe changed a bit as well, due to the two cinnamon rolls she hung out with any time she was out of school or not at her house.
As time continued to pass, the two continued learning new things about each other. Moe grew concerned when, one of the times she asked some things about his school, he barely touched the subject, only responding with a simple "It's alright," before moving on to ask her about something else.
Moe, wanting to know what was up, kept asking him about it. She noticed discomfort on his face whenever she asked, which caused her heart to clench. Despite seeing his reactions, she pressed on, wanting to know what was making him uncomfortable about school. Eventually, she managed to achieve her goal, but would she really like the outcome?
Izuku fell onto the bench after dropping one last load of trash into the dumpster. He was way stronger than when he started out, meaning he was able to move on to the actual piles instead of relying on Moe to set out piles that were filled with things close to his weight. As he opened a bottle of water, he felt the bench move as Moe fell onto it, letting out a loud and satisfied sigh.
"We're making some damn good work, Greenie!" Moe said with her usual feral grin as she opened the bottle of water and chugged it.
Izuku chuckled, smiling at the girl's behavior. He had long accepted his crush on the fiery haired girl before him, but also accepted that she very likely didn't like him the same way, so he didn't really act on those feelings. It wasn't like he was brave enough to do it anyways.
"So, Greenie. You gonna tell me yet?" Moe asked.
"Tell you what?" Izuku asked in reply, knowing what she was asking but not wanting to answer. His head lowered slightly when he heard the sigh Moe responded with.
"Izuku, you know what I mean." Moe said, her voice turning soft.
Izuku loved hearing her soft voice, but he was too busy feeling guilty that she used his actual name rather than her nickname for him. He felt a warm hand on his shoulder, drawing his gaze to the source, which was Moe, who was looking at him with a concerned expression.
It was a side of her only he got to see. The soft side. To others, she was the energetic, sometimes scary, very aggressive girl who wouldn't take shit from anybody and wouldn't care to give the time of day to anyone she didn't care about. But Izuku was always able to see the other side of her. The side that showed how she worries, cares, and wants to help others. But she would only show that side to Izuku and he felt honored to have the ability to see it.
Izuku looked away from her in shame. "I'm sorry... I just..." Izuku trailed off.
"I understand. But I want to know. You don't have to tell me all of it. I'm fine with just knowing part of it, at least." Moe said softly, gently squeezing his shoulder in a gesture of support.
Izuku silently debated whether or not to tell her, but found his mind and heart both agreeing to tell her. He breathed a sigh before looking back up at Moe, taking in her concerned look that shifted into a gentle smile that took his breath away.
"I'll... I'll tell you." Izuku said with a nod. "Thank you." Moe said softly.
Izuku nodded once more in response before taking another steadying breath. "Well... I don't really have the best... School life..." Izuku said, looking away.
Moe was silent, allowing him to tell her at his own pace. She already assumed he didn't have a good school life, what with his depressed look on his face whenever she asked about it. She kept listening as he continued to speak.
"I... Like following the rules. When my quirk came in, I never used it unless I was at home. I didn't want to break the unlicensed quirk usage law, so I only ever tried using it in defense. So most of the people I thought were my friends saw me as quirkless, including my best friend... One day he tried to show that I was actually quirkless and that's when I used my quirk in defense once before." Izuku said.
"How? Did you have a candle or something nearby?" Moe questioned.
"No, he used his Explosion quirk and it started a fire in the grass. So I took the small flames and tried shielding myself with it." Izuku said.
"You were friends with Blondie?" Moe asked, frowning.
"I guess..." Izuku said.
"Wait, if he created explosions, couldn't you have taken that from him?" Moe asked.
"His explosions are so sudden I don't have time to grab it from his hands before they're gone." Izuku explained.
Moe nodded in understanding before letting him continue.
"Anyways... It was so weak back then that he still looked down on me, saying how I'd never become a hero with such a weak quirk... I kept trying to be a hero, though. Which I think angered him. He kept bullying me afterwards. No one did anything, not even the teachers. I think it was because they thought Bakugo would become the next great hero. That's around the time we met,
actually." Izuku said, finishing his explanation.
When he looked back at Moe, she wore a blank expression. He saw her take a couple deep breaths as her flaming hair seemed to be showing her true emotions: pure anger. She let out one last deep breath, releasing it with a growl as her face morphed into a scowl.
The girl whose hair was currently a raging inferno stood up and stomped into the piles of trash. Izuku, worried about what she was gonna do, followed after her with a somewhat panicked expression. When Moe stopped, they were in their quirk training area. Wordlessly, she started throwing her flames at the trash piles with angered growls and grunts. As she did, she spoke.
"Fucking-"
One fireball gets thrown.
"-Piece-"
Another.
"-Of-"
And another.
"-Shit-"
A larger fireball.
"-Bastards!" Moe finished, throwing a much larger ball of flame at the trash piles. "M-Moe..." Izuku said.
"Izuku, listen to me now. Got it?" Moe said, her piercing eyes staring straight into Izuku's soul. Izuku nodded rapidly.
"You're going to switch schools, I don't care where, but you're not going through high school with those assholes." Moe said in a growl.
"W-What?"
"Am I clear?" Moe asked.
"Y-Yes! You are!" Izuku said quickly.
"Good!" Moe shouted.
Moe took a deep breath, calming slightly before she spoke again. "So... Is he still your best friend?" Moe asked.
Izuku didn't even have to think to respond to Moe's question. "Not at all, you are, Moe." Izuku said with complete honesty. Moe smirked at his response. It turned soft soon after.
"Good. I'm glad you think so." Moe said softly.
Izuku didn't hear it, as he devolved into a mutter spree of why Moe was his best friend. Moe simply listened to it with an amused and fond smile. As much as she tried to get him to stop his habit of muttering, it never stopped. And at this point, she gave up and accepted it as part of him. It was actually quite funny to listen to his muttering sometimes at the right subject.
Suddenly, her eyes widened and her face exploded in a blush. 'Did I hear that right?' Moe thought to herself.
What she just heard was Izuku muttering how she was his crush and wanted to ask her out but knew he had no chance with her. Part of her wanted to punch him for thinking he had no chance, while the other part of her wanted to hug him and tell him yes a million times. She decided to go for the middleground.
She placed a firm hand on his shoulder, silencing his mutters immediately. He looked at her with a blush.
"S-Sorry for muttering." Izuku said shyly.
"It's alright. But that's not the reason why I stopped you." Moe said, blushing slightly.
"O-Oh? What was it for?"
"Did you really mean it?" Moe questioned.
"R-Really mean what?" Izuku asked, blushing a bit more.
"That you have a crush on me and want to ask me out?" Moe asked.
Izuku's heart dropped, fearing she didn't want to be in a relationship with him. Even so, he couldn't lie to her, so with a wincing face, he nodded.
"Y-Yes... I do..." Izuku said quietly.
Izuku winced even harder as he heard the silence. His eyes snapped open when he felt Moe's arms surround him in a hug. He looked to see Moe wearing a blush and an awkward look on her face.
"I... Have a crush on you, too." Moe said, releasing the hug after a few moments and stepping back.
"Y-You do?" Izuku asked.
"I just said it, you moron. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it." Moe said with a frowny pout, looking back at him.
Izuku's mind couldn't help but think she looked cute with the kind of pout she had. The rest of him was freaking out that his crush actually liked him back. Thankfully, with him being used to being around Moe, he actually had the ability to say the next words that he wanted to ask with minimal difficulty.
"W-Will you go out on a date with me?" Izuku asked.
Moe blushed, a surprised expression on her face. But it quickly disappeared as she worked off of his bravery to respond.
"Yes!"

After asking Moe out, they finished up their training for the day. As Izuku was about to head home by himself, he was suddenly joined by his date.
"Moe? Aren't you going to head home?" Izuku asked.
"I told my dad I was going to stay over at a friend's house today. And that friend's house is yours." Moe said with her usual grin.
"R-Really? W-What about-"
"I told Inko already, don't worry." Moe said cleverly.
"H-How?"
"Your mother has a cellphone, too. It also helps that your trash piles are usually a bit away from mine." Moe said, her grin turning to a smirk.
Izuku sighed, his shoulders drooping. He then straightened back up and fixed Moe with a teasing smirk.
"I'll be taking the couch, then. Don't burn down my bedroom in your sleep." Izuku said teasingly.
His tease got the effect he desired as she blushed for the slightest of seconds before she punched his shoulder.
"Fucker! I won't!" Moe shot back.
Izuku laughed in response, causing Moe to frown more in mock annoyance. She finally gave up on trying to look angry and smirked again. She was proud that Izuku got more confident. It allowed
him to not cower under her personality except for the occasional embarrassing moments which he still got embarrassed under.
The rest of the walk was a calm one filled with comfortable conversation as the fiery haired girl accompanied her soon to be boyfriend to his house. When they got there, Izuku went to take the first shower, giving Moe the opportunity to talk to Inko about some things.
"I'm so glad you could stay over today, Moe. It's always a joy to have you over." Inko said with a kind smile as she sat on the couch with the fiery haired girl.
"I'm happy to stay over, too, Inko. It's always so nice here." Moe said with a soft smile. "That's good. I'd hate it if you didn't like it here." Inko replied.
Silence passed before Moe got Inko's attention again.
"Inko? I, uh... I have a question to ask." Moe started.
"Take him to a hero cafe and make sure it serves katsudon and he'll definitely fall harder for you." Inko answers.
"W-What? That wasn't-How did you know?" Moe asked with an embarrassed blush.
"A mother knows these things. That and you two were walking closer to each other than normal." Inko said with a clever smile.
"W-Well... Thank you for helping me with that... But that wasn't what I wanted to ask." Moe said.
"Oh? Then what was it?" Inko asked.
"Well... Could you perhaps have Izuku change schools to mine?" Moe questioned. Inko gained a teasing smile, worrying the fiery haired girl.
"Oh? Do you miss my Izuku that much that you want to be closer to him?" Inko teased, drawing a blush from Moe.
Inko was the only other person to be able to get her flustered like that. Such is the power of mothers. The other person who could successfully fluster her was Izuku, but it was always unintentional in his case.
"W-Well... Maybe..." Moe muttered. "Hmm?" Inko asked with a smirk.
"It... would make going to training a bit quicker since we'd be at the same school... And... Okay, fine! I want to be closer to him!" Moe said, blushing still.
Inko giggled victoriously in response to Moe's flustered response.
"Very well, Moe. After he finishes this last year of middle school, he'll go over to your high school. Have you told him the name of your school?" Inko asked.
"No." Moe replied.
Inko giggled once more, this time more mischievously.
"I guess you'll have to surprise him on the first day." Inko said.
Moe couldn't help but smile slightly at the thought of surprising him. She looked forward to seeing his reaction to going to the same school as her. Her thoughts were broken when Izuku came out of
the bathroom with a loose green shirt and sweatpants.
"Alright, Moe. It's ready for you." Izuku said as he walked out.
"Alrighty!" Moe said with her usual feral smile returning. She waved once to Inko before grabbing her bag that she brought with and walking into the bathroom, closing it behind her.
Izuku watched her leave before turning to his mother. He had to tell her something that he didn't know if she'd be okay with. He took a deep breath to steady his nerves before approaching her.
"Mom?"
"Hmm? What is it dear?"
"I need to ask you something..." Izuku said, sitting beside her.
"You don't seem so sure. Is everything alright?" Inko asked.
"Well... Would it be okay for me to... Well... Change schools when I get to high school?" Izuku asked.
Inko was surprised. Him asking to change schools concerned her. He didn't show any signs of wanting to switch schools. She was planning on bringing the subject of changing schools up later, but if he was bringing it up, that meant something might have been wrong. At least, that's what her motherly senses were telling her.
"Why is that, dear?" Inko asked softly.
"Well... I haven't really told you, but a lot of people haven't really been nice to me. I've kind of beared with it since Moe's been helping me a whole lot and it didn't really hurt like it used to. But today I told her about it and, well... I want to switch schools now." Izuku said.
On one hand, Inko wanted to relentlessly try to shut down the school that hurt her baby. But on the
other, since Izuku was actively wanting to switch schools, she didn't really feel like doing it now that Izuku was moving on to a different school. She did think to keep watch over the school in case she saw anything interesting happen there.
"I'm so proud of you for telling me this. I'll look into getting you transferred to a different school." Inko said with a soft smile.
Izuku smiled in response, hugging his mother and whispering a "thank you" before pulling back. He decided to change the subject.
"So, what's for dinner?" Izuku asked.
"I was thinking we could have spicy curry, since Moe's home." Inko said.
"I'm terrible with spicy stuff..." Izuku said with a groan.
"Don't worry, I won't put a lot of spice into yours." Inko replied with a smile and giggle.
"Did I hear spicy curry?" Moe called from the bathroom, the door open to reveal Moe's head, the rest of her body behind the door.
"You heard right, Moe!" Inko called in response.
"Awesome! You're the best!" Moe shouted before closing the door once more. _
Dinner was dominated by Moe as she energetically talked about their day as well as other things Inko asked about. Izuku liked how Moe was so comfortable around him and his mother. It made his heart warm with happiness.
After dinner, the three of them went to the living room to watch some action movies before bed and when it came time to go to bed, Izuku took the couch like he said and Moe took his bed. Izuku
was a bit nervous having a girl over, but when he reminded himself that it was Moe, he relaxed. Of course, he was still nervous that his soon to be girlfriend was spending the night in his house.
After a couple hours of nervousness, he finally was able to fall asleep, due to a mixture of fatigue and finally coming to terms with Moe sleeping in the same house as him. The next morning yielded a different wakeup call than he was used to, though.
Izuku was enjoying a nice peaceful sleep as the morning came around. That is... until he felt a poking on his cheek drawing him awake. He opened one of his eyes and looked to see Moe smirking.
"Good morning," Moe said with a smirk.
Izuku, wanting to get a few hours of sleep before waking up groaned and turned over.
"A couple more hours," Izuku grumbled.
Moe grinned devilishly as she heard his response. She turned around and plopped her butt down on Izuku's side, drawing a grunt of surprise.
"Nope! You're waking up now!" Moe said as she remained sitting on him, despite his squirming. "Alright! Alright! Just get off me!" Izuku shouted.
Moe kept her feral and victorious grin as she stood up, allowing Izuku to sit up on the couch and frown at her.
"You ready for today?" Moe asked.
Izuku took a moment to remember before blushing slightly, remembering what they were doing. He nodded in response.
"Good! Because I know where we're going," Moe said.
"Oh?" Izuku questioned.
"Yep! And I'm not gonna tell you. So you just get ready and we'll get going," Moe said.
Izuku, surprisingly eager to finally go out on a date with his crush, quickly got out of bed and went to get changed. Moe watched with an amused look on her face, her chest warming as she saw the excited smile on his face before he went into his bedroom. She then decided to freshen herself up a bit.
Izuku came out later in a green t-shirt and a pair of jeans. It was relatively simple, but he didn't know what kind of date they were gonna have. He heard the bathroom door open and Moe came out in a red T-shirt and jean shorts, looking as beautiful as always, especially with her trademark feral grin.
"Lookin' good, Greenie," Moe said.
"Y-You do, too," Izuku replied, blushing slightly at the compliment.
Moe blushed at Izuku's compliment but kept her composure. "Good! Wouldn't want you to think I'm ugly," Moe joked.
"You never are..." Izuku said shyly, breaking Moe's composure.
Moe blushed and looked away, hooking a clump of her fire hair around her finger and twirling it slightly as she tried to calm her shyness.
"T-Thank you..." Moe replied shyly. "Y-You're welcome..." Izuku said shyly.
Moe coughed once before speaking.
"W-well, let's get going. C'mon," Moe said, taking his hand and pulling him to the door. Izuku let her pull him, enjoying how warm her hand was.
"Inko, I'm taking Izuku somewhere! We'll be back later!" Moe called.
"Okay! Have fun you two!" Inko called from her bedroom.
"We will!" Moe called in response.
Izuku and Moe left soon after.
Moe was nervous. At least, internally. Externally, she was keeping up a confident facade as she really wanted the date to go off without a hitch. Thankfully, the place where they were going was exactly what Inko described and it made Izuku's reaction all the better.
Izuku saw the cafe when they arrived and instantly gasped. Moe turned to see he had stars in his eyes, warming her heart at the look of awe.
"I haven't been here yet! This is awesome!" Izuku said excitedly. Moe smirked.
"Then c'mon! Gotta get a good seat before the lunch rush comes," Moe said, pulling him.
Moe quickly went from pulling him to him pulling her as his excitement got the better of him. She liked how excited he was, marking that as a point in her favor. They entered and were soon brought to a table. Izuku was smiling happily as he looked at the menu. His bright smile brought a softer smile to Moe's face as she watched him looking through the menu.
"See something you like?" Moe questioned as he saw stars return to his eyes. "There's katsudon!" Izuku said excitedly, drawing a giggle from Moe.
"Yep, there is."
"Did you see anything you like, too?" Izuku asked with a smile.
"That I do..." Moe said, keeping her gaze on Izuku.
"Oh? What is it? I'd be willing to pay for it." Izuku said, looking up and locking eyes with her.
The two went silent as they stared into one another's eyes. Both of their chests felt warm as they saw the gentle gaze the other had. They both smiled at one another and before they spoke up, the waiter came.
"Find anything you like?" The waiter asked, ruining the moment, much to Moe's disappointment.
Before Moe could snap at the waiter, Izuku answered.
"Yes. I'd like the katsudon and she would like the..." Izuku looked back at Moe.
Moe quickly looked down at the menu and found something spicy she'd like to have. She then looked up.
"The spicy ramen." Moe said.
"The spicy ramen, please." Izuku said, looking back at the waiter.
"Alright, your food will be right out. Do you want anything to drink with that?" The waiter asked. "Just water would be fine." Izuku said, looking to Moe for confirmation.
Moe nodded to him, causing Izuku to nod at the waiter, who smiled in response.
"Very good. Like I said, that will be out soon." The waiter said before turning and leaving the two. Izuku turned back to Moe who had an annoyed look on her face.
"Interrupted us..." Moe grumbled.
"Calm down, Moe. He didn't know." Izuku said.
She sighed, but continued.
"Still, he should have..." Moe muttered, pouting.
She felt Izuku's hand on hers as he spoke once more.
"No he shouldn't have. I doubt many people would come here for a date." Izuku said.
"Why not?" Moe asked.
"Because it isn't as 'romantic' as other places. But to be honest? This is absolutely perfect for me, so don't go thinking we went to the wrong place for our date," Izuku said, a gentle smile on his face.
"Okay," Moe said, sighing in defeat. "Thank you, Moe," Izuku said softly.
Silence fell over the two. It was a comfortable silence, but Moe looked to be slightly uncomfortable. It was something Izuku noticed.
"Moe? Is something wrong?" Izuku asked.
She looked at him for a moment before sighing, looking down slightly.
"Well... I don't really know what to do on a date," Moe said.
Izuku looked at her silently for a moment before chuckling, causing Moe's gaze to shift to him once more.
"What?" Moe asked with a frown.
"Sorry. It's just... I'm so used to you being so confident all the time, it's just funny seeing you so unsure," Izuku said.
"Hey!" Moe snapped softly.
"It's alright. I honestly don't know either. I guess we should just do what comes naturally to us," Izuku said.
"What comes naturally to us..." Moe said in thought.
She then looked to Izuku with her usual grin, making him smile.
"So, I was thinking the nickname 'Greenie' is getting a bit old. I mean, now that we're boyfriend and girlfriend, it should be different, right?" Moe asked.
Izuku raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"I guess," Izuku said.
"So how does Izu sound?" Moe questioned.
Izuku felt his heart flutter at the name. He smiled slightly, his cheeks heating up. "Well... I really like it," Izuku said shyly.
"Then Izu you shall be!" Moe said with a grin.
'She really doesn't beat around the bush, does she?' Izuku thought, smiling.
"I accept this new name," Izuku replied, playing along.
The two chuckled in response to their banter. After they calmed down, they descended into comfortable conversation as they waited for their food. They didn't really know what to talk about, so they simply struck up random conversations after small spans of silence with hand holding. The two of them never really let go of one another's hand unless their other hand was occupied.
The date was simple, but oh-so-effective as, on their walk back, their arms were around one another. Moe had initiated it, much to Izuku's embarrassment. But after a bit of Moe not removing her arm from around him, he returned the gesture, much to Moe's joy.
Both of them were glad to finally act on their feelings of attraction towards one another. Moe felt like the happiest girl in the world after being able to finally act on her feelings and Izuku felt like the happiest guy in the world for doing the same. Their feelings were easily seen as they had satisfied smiles on their faces.
"So, how do you think Mom will react when she sees us coming home like this?" Izuku asked.
"She'll be happy. I actually told her what we'd be doing last night and she fully supported it," Moe replied.
"O-Oh... That's good," Izuku said with a blush. Moe giggled softly.
"You currently have an arm around a girl who's now your girlfriend and you get shy when I mention your mom knowing about this?" Moe asked, amused.
"S-Shush! I don't want to get teased by my mom!" Izuku replied.
Moe laughed in response to his embarrassed reply. Her head found its way to his shoulder after she calmed from her laughter.
"I feel so strange..." Moe commented. "Hmm? How so?" Izuku asked.
"I never really acted like this for a whole day... And I only feel comfortable acting like this around you. It's weird..." Moe said softly.
"Maybe because you know you don't have to act all confident around me. I like you for you, not because you're some hottie, but of course that's an added bonus..." Izuku said the last part of the sentence shyly.
Moe blushed at his opinion of how she looked. Even so, she smiled, happy he liked how she looked.
"I'm glad you think of me like that. And... I'm glad I can be like this around you." Moe said softly, nuzzling her head a bit deeper into his shoulder.
The two of them walked the way to the Midoriya Household in comfortable silence. When they got there, Moe stayed for a bit before needing to go back to her house. The couple shared a caring hug at the door before Moe left. As Izuku watched his new girlfriend leave, he couldn't help but think about how lucky he was to have an amazing girl like her as a girlfriend. And he would never be able to know how wonderful his life would truly be in the next few years until it happened...

It didn't take long after asking his mother if he could switch schools that Inko "found" one for him. When she told him where he was going to be attending once he finished middle school, he got excited. Coincidentally, it was before his training with Moe, meaning he left to tell her with excitement on his face.
When he arrived at Dagobah Beach, he first took in the sight of it. Over the months, they had been knocking out more and more trash. It was actually starting to look more like a beach than a junkyard, with a clear divide between the left and right side trash piles that showed a beautiful view of the ocean. Of course, the view was immediately ruined if one looked to either side of the divide.
"You're zoning out!" Moe's voice snapped him out from his thoughts.
He looked over to his right where Moe was jogging her way over to his position. The sun framed his girlfriend's face perfectly as she gave him one of her award winning feral smiles. He smiled in return, fully turning to face her.
"Sorry. I'm still surprised at how much we managed to clear so far." Izuku said.
"Not really a surprise. Both of us are working hard, after all. When it was just me, it was so slow, but now that you're here with me, we're actually making progress. We might actually get it done before our last year of highschool at this rate," Moe said, turning to face the beach.
"Yeah, we might... Wanna have a date on this beach afterwards?" Izuku asked.
"My, my, aren't you a confident boy," Moe said teasingly, bringing a blush to his face. "W-Well? Yes or no?" Izuku asked, trying to fight through his flustered state.
Moe giggled.
"Yes I'd like that. Now c'mon! Let's get started. You can tell me about your day while we work." _
Izuku and Moe started moving trash. As they worked, Izuku told her about his day. They had started that practice ever since Izuku told Moe about his school life. She had to practically force him to tell her about his day the first few times they did it, but after a while, he fell into the habit of telling her all about it.
As for his day, it was normal. No one really interacted with him except for the usual Bakugo intimidation attempt of glaring at Izuku. It didn't have the same effect it did back when he first met Moe. When he finished telling her about his day, he added that he was going to be going to another school for the start of his highschool career.
"Really? Which is it?" Moe asked, knowing exactly where.
"She said Nevarr High School," Izuku replied.
Moe mentally cheered as she heard the name of the school. "Awesome! I know they'll treat you better," Moe said encouragingly. "You think so?" Izuku asked hesitantly.
"I know so. I mean, any place is better than Aldera, if you ask me," Moe said, walking up to him and taking his hand.
Izuku chuckled nervously.
"I guess I'm just worried that it'll be the same."
"Well if it's the same, tell me and I'll storm over there and set them straight!" Moe said, releasing his hand and crossing her arms over her chest.
"I'll remember that," Izuku said, blushing slightly at how defensive Moe was.
"Good! Now c'mon! We got like two more hours before the sun sets! Let's get back to work!" Moe said, changing the subject.
"O-Oh! Right!" Izuku said, breaking from his shy state and refocusing on the task at hand.
Moe watched him move to his pile with an amused and fond smile for a moment before turning and resuming her work.
The rest of the year went by quickly, with Izuku and Moe continuing to clean the beach after every school day and hang out afterwards at Izuku's house. A few times, she was able to sleep over at his house, too.
Bakugo's "bullying", if it was even considered bullying, kept up throughout the year. But one day while he was seething, he heard something about Izuku changing schools, not going to Aldera High School like he was. At first he was happy. Finally, the nerd was gone!
Bakugo enjoyed the happiness of knowing that Izuku wasn't going to be anywhere near him for highschool. But in his happiness, he then realized something. If Izuku was gone, how would he know his place anymore?
At the end of their last day of middle school, Bakugo decided to finally confront Izuku. He found him easy enough, walking home after the end of school.
"Deku!" Bakugo snapped.
Izuku stopped and looked at Bakugo with a curious expression, nothing at all like the fearful boy that he was before meeting that flame haired girl. He grit his teeth.
"What is it, Bakugo?" Izuku asked.
Using his family name wasn't new. He started doing it about a month after the incident with the girl. Even so, it made him angrier.
"What the fuck is going on with you going to another school? Huh?" Bakugo stormed up to him and was about to reach for Izuku's collar when he heard the flick of a lighter.
Quickly stepping back, a thin whip of flame streaked upwards from Izuku's side before settling into the palm of Izuku's hand. The serious look on his face made Bakugo take another step back.
"I'm going to another school so I don't have to deal with you, Bakugo," Izuku responded. "What the fuck did you just say to me?" Bakugo growled.
Izuku, channeling Moe's behavior, responded.
"Are you deaf? I just said I don't want to deal with you anymore, poprocks! Years, you just tormented me just because of how my quirk works. All I ever wanted was to be friends with you, but then you found out what our quirks were and you just tossed that friendship into the dirt and pissed on it! I'm done trying to salvage this friendship and done being around you. So in the words of Moe, I'll tell you these last words: Fuck off."
Bakugo was stunned to silence once Izuku cursed. Never once did he ever curse. He simply watched in stunned silence as Izuku took a breath to calm himself, dissipate the flame he had in his hand, and walk off without another word.
After Izuku left Bakugo, he went to see Moe, wanting to take his mind off of things. It wasn't that Izuku was sad, though. He was genuinely happy he finally told off his tormentor. But even so, his mind was a mess from his outburst. Luckily for him, Moe was quick to wrap him in a comforting hug that eased his mind.
The following day came and Izuku officially graduated from Aldera Middle School. He was relieved that he didn't have to go to that school again past that point. Moe and Inko were, too.
Surprisingly to Izuku, Moe forced him to take a break from training during the break between middle school and high school. In that time, Moe and Izuku spent a lot more time together, almost spending whole days together in some cases.
Aside from Izuku and Moe's increased time together, the break was a calm one, which was surprising considering Moe was around a lot of the time. Eventually, the break ended and Izuku's first day came.
"Hmm... Why does this remind me of Moe's uniform...?" Izuku thought aloud as he looked at himself in the mirror.
The school uniform was a pair of ash grey pants and jacket with a fiery orange button up shirt underneath. It was a strange combination, but one that would definitely allow people to recognize where the wearer went to for school. After a moment of thinking, he just shrugged.
"Might just be a coincidence," He concluded with a shrug before walking to his phone. He pressed the messaging app and texted Moe.
Izuku: Have a good first day.
It didn't take long before Moe replied.
Moe: Oh, I will definitely have a good first day.
Izuku didn't like how ominous that sounded. Did Moe plan a surprise visit to his school halfway through the first day? He stared at Moe's name on his messaging app with suspicion for a while, but was interrupted by his mother.
"Izuku! Breakfast is ready!" Inko called. "Coming, Mom!" Izuku called in response.
He looked back at his phone for a moment before shaking his head and pocketing his phone, grabbing his bag and walking to the kitchen to get breakfast.
Izuku had his breakfast and hugged his mother goodbye before leaving for school. As he walked, the feeling of nervousness crept into him. He was worried the school would be either the same or worse than Aldera, even if the chance of that was low.
He soon arrived at the front gates of the school. The main school building was two stories tall with a brick red color to the outside. Students were slowly filing into the schoolyard, eager to either start their high school lives or reluctant to resume going to high school. Luckily for Izuku, no one was really focusing on him.
The previous week, Izuku was sent a letter that had his class information on it, so he was able to find his classroom no problem. But he wasn't expecting to find who was there and waiting for him.
Izuku turned the final corner to his classroom and the first thing his eyes locked onto a head of flaming green hair. His eyes widened with surprise as soon as his gaze lowered to the familiar feral grin of his girlfriend.
"M-Moe?!" Izuku asked, shocked.
His outburst drew many student's attention. When they looked at who he was staring at, they immediately felt sorry for him, thinking the girl was about to yell at him. What actually happened shocked them.
Moe, instead of responding, simply walked up to him, glancing around real quick. There were a fair amount of girls in the hallway, meaning it was a perfect chance to send a message to everyone.
"Come here, lover boy," Moe said when she got close.
Everyone's eyes widened so far that they threatened to pop out of their skulls at the sight before them. Moe grabbed the back of Izuku's head and pulled him into a passionate kiss. What they didn't know was that it was their first.
Izuku's brain had fireworks going off, his face was flushed red, and he was frozen. Moe's kiss was unexpected, but felt oh-so-good. The sensations from it made his heart flutter in his chest and his arms instinctively move to hug her.
Moe's heart was thumping in her chest. Mix that with a warm feeling and she just made her day the best day of her life. He was such a good kisser, too! It was wonderful and she wanted to keep kissing him even more. When she pulled back, she watched as Izuku rebooted his mind, much to her amusement.
"What the?" "Who's that?"
"Is that Kamiji's boyfriend?"
"Seriously? I thought her boyfriend would be... well... meaner..."
"That's a shame... He's pretty cute..."
Moe found herself smirking slightly at the murmurs of the students. Her plan had worked and boy did she enjoy it.
"W-Woah..." Izuku's voice brought her focus back to him.
"Better expect more of those, Izu. Because I am hooked... " Moe said in a quiet voice. "O-Okay..."
Before Moe could go in for another kiss, the bell rang, signalling that it was time to get to class. She sighed in annoyance before refocusing on Izuku, smiling.
"You gonna keep hugging me or do you wanna get going to class? I wouldn't mind skipping it so we can have more time to ourselves," Moe said, her teasing smirk reappearing.
"O-Oh right!" Izuku said, removing his arms from around her.
Moe giggled before taking the arm that wasn't holding his bag.
"C'mon! Let's go!" Moe said.
Izuku allowed Moe to drag him into the classroom, completely ignorant to the wide-eyed stares of the students in the halls. His focus was still on Moe, trying to comprehend how she was there.
"So... you knew I was going to come to your school?" Izuku finally asked.
"Yep!"
"And you didn't think to tell me?"
"Nope! I wanted it to be a surprise. And judging by how you reacted, you loved it just as much as I did," Moe said with her feral grin once more on her face.
"W-Well... Yes... I did..." Izuku muttered shyly, making her grin wider.
The second bell rang before they could talk further and the teacher walked in. She was a woman
with long azure blue hair with pale white skin and yellow eyes. Izuku instantly wondered what her quirk was. Did it have something to do with her eyes? Or her hair? Or maybe both? And why did she seem so familiar?
"Greetings, class. I am your homeroom teacher for the remainder of your time in this highschool. I am Mrs. Phenex. Today, we will be doing simple ice breakers so everyone knows everyone as well as passing out your schedules for the semester," The woman said with a smile, breaking Izuku from his thoughts.
One by one, the students began introducing themselves and told everyone about their quirks. Some of them had interesting quirks like changing their head into an animal's head while others had simple quirks like changing their hair.
Eventually it was Izuku's turn and he stood up. Moe could tell he was nervous just by how he was standing.
"H-Hello... My name is Izuku Midoriya... My, uh... My quirk is... Well... It's called Pyrokinesis. I can manipulate flames, but it has to come from a source. I can't make any fire myself," Izuku said.
"Show us!" One of his classmates said.
Izuku looked conflicted. He wanted to show it, but he didn't want to break the law.
"I'll allow it just this once," Mrs. Phenex said.
He looked at the teacher before looking around at the students looking at him expectantly. He finally landed on Moe who was smiling at him and nodding. He finally caved and nodded.
"O-Okay..." Izuku said with a nod, taking a calming breath.
Izuku proceeded to take some of Moe's fire hair, which she didn't react to, and made it flow around similar to how he demonstrated to Moe when she first showed his quirk. Moe watched, always finding it calming to watch. When Izuku returned the flame to Moe's hair, he looked around. Everyone's faces, excluding the teacher, were frozen in shock.
"That is a rather interesting quirk, Midoriya. And that was a wonderful display. You may sit down," The woman said, a kind smile still on her face.
"Th-Thank you," Izuku said shyly, nodding before sitting down.
He glanced at Moe to see her looking at him. She smiled at him, drawing a smile from him as well as he couldn't not smile at her beautiful smile. He then refocused on everyone as they finally regained their senses.
The rest of the introductions went well until Moe stood up for hers.
"Yo, I'm Moe Kamiji. I know you're wondering why I didn't completely rip into Izu over stealing some of my hair for his demonstration. That's because we're a couple, so back off girls." Moe said, her feral grin changing to a glare whenever she fixed her eyes on a girl in the class.
Izuku was surprised she kept herself from cursing. It might have been because it was the first day and the teacher was around. Either that or him being around was causing her to calm down slightly. Even so, he was proud of his girlfriend.
"And anyone who tries to bully him will get my foot stuck up their ass and my flames down your throat. Got it, fuckers?"
'...And there's the foul mouthed girl I know and love.' Izuku thought with an amused smile on his face.
"Anyways, my quirk is called Flame Utility. I can use the flames on my head to form different kinds of tools and stuff that I want. If I use too much of my hair, I start drawing flames from my body temperature." Moe finished before sitting back down.
"Well... Aside from your colorful language, I'd say that was an interesting quirk and a good introduction.
'If she thinks that's colorful, she hasn't been around Moe enough...' Izuku thought to himself.
The rest of the introductions went by without any more problems and at the end of it, they were given their schedules. After a little while longer, homeroom ended and Izuku walked with his girlfriend to their next class. So far the day was good. He could only hope the rest of the day would be the same.

The remainder of the day was going as he had hoped. The majority of the people in his class were fearful of getting close to him due to him being Moe's boyfriend, however, a rare few were brave enough to introduce themselves.
Juzo Honenuki was a pale skinned boy with angular eyes, mid-length spiky beige colored hair, a flat nose, small eyebrows, and a mouth lacking lips, exposing his teeth for all to see. He had a calm demeanor and, despite lacking lips, Izuku could tell he was smiling when talking to him. It made him happy that Honenuki enjoyed talking with him. Honenuki wasn't the only brave person in Izuku's class however.
Kosei Tsuburaba, a spiky brown haired boy with round oval eyes and irises, was another who was brave enough to approach Izuku. Unlike Honenuki, whose bravery seemed to stem from a genuine lack of fear of Izuku, Tsubaraba's seemed to be based more on recklessness. The boy seemed defiant of, if not totally oblivious to, Moe's fiery glare. Either way, the boy happily introduced himself to Izuku.
With two new friends, Izuku could proudly say that his school life was starting to look up.
RIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG!
"Okay everyone, have a good afternoon! Please turn in your papers to me before you leave!" Izuku's math teacher called out.
Izuku stood up from his desk, collecting his things and putting them in his bag. "Hey Midoriya," Kosei said, walking up to his desk.
"Hmm?"
"What do you say we hit the arcade?" Kosei suggested with a smile.
"Sorry, Kosei, I'm gonna be training with Moe," Izuku said with a sheepish grin.
"Yep! Maybe ask Honenuki or something," Moe said, hooking her arm around his neck.
"Honenuki? He's not the arcade type," Kosei complained.
"Because I know better. You're too competitive for it to be fun," Juzo commented as he walked past.
" You're no fun!" Kosei whined.
"Too bad, so sad!" Moe said, grabbing Izuku's arm and yanking him out of the classroom. _
Kairi Phenex was walking through the halls of Nevarr High School. The final bell had rung and she had to get back to her classroom to retrieve the papers she needed to grade. That was, until she heard a couple of familiar voices.
"C'mon, Izu! We gotta get to Dagobah," she heard Moe Kamiji shout over everyone else. "J-Jeez, why are you so excited?" Izuku responded.
"We're gonna test out something with your quirk! C'mon!"
Against her better judgement, she decided to let her curiosity take control. Thankfully, she was able to resist it long enough to grab her papers before leaving the school. Her two students were gone when she left the school building, but she wasn't worried. She knew where Dagobah Beach was.
Taking a moment to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything, she started off to Dagobah, curious as to what her students were doing there.
She was shocked. She remembered seeing some trash on Dagobah before, but nothing compared to how it was now. Piles upon piles of trash littered the beach and she would have continued staring at them had she not gotten a phone call.
Taking out her purse, she saw a picture of a flaming bearded man scowling into the camera. She groaned before accepting the call.
"What is it, flame breath?" Kairi asked in an annoyed tone.
"You're late. You're going to miss your patrol," A voice growled on the other side.
"I'm taking a day off. School just started, and I need time to get used to it," Kairi replied in a snappy tone.
"Are you serious right now?"
"I am serious, bonfire. You gonna fire me?" Kairi questioned threateningly. A growl was her response.
"Fine. You need to be here tomorrow, though."
"Alright. Don't burn your agency down," Kairi said before ending the call.
Hearing the sound of metal hitting metal, she lowered herself slightly. She relaxed when she saw Izuku and Moe carrying armfuls of trash over to the nearby dumpster.
"Alright, it's clear. Let's go," Moe said, tugging Izuku back into the trash piles.
Kairi followed from a distance, curious as to what they were doing. The two high school students entered a clearing with dozens of targets made of trash . She stood back, watching from a distance as Moe threw spears of flame into the targets, setting them ablaze.
"Alright, now take all the fire from here," Moe instructed.
"Okay," Izuku replied, reaching forward to retrieve the flames from all of the targets.
As he collected the smaller flames, they gradually combined into a large singular flame held aloft in his open palm.
"Now, try seeing if you can compress the flames to make them hotter," Moe suggested.
'That's actually some interesting advice. Let's see-'
Kairi watched as the flame shrunk in size and changed in color. It started glowing a bright orange before shifting to a green color and then finally settling into a pale blue with a white center. It was quite interesting to watch in her opinion.
"Awesome! Now, throw it at that target!" Moe ordered, pointing to one of the trash targets.
"R-right!" Izuku said, the flame quivering and increasing in size slightly as he struggled to maintain focus.
Kairi watched as Izuku threw his arm forward; the ball of flame soared through the air and collided into the trash pile, engulfing it entirely in blue flames, visibly melting the contents.
"Awesome! That means you don't have to just work with flames at set temperatures! You can make them any temperature you want!" Moe said in excitement.
"Yeah! I can!" Izuku replied with an excited nod.
The two of them embraced in a tight hug, hopping ever so slightly as they did so. Kairi smiled at the emotions displayed before finally deciding to make herself known.
"That's quite the display," she said, getting the two's attention.
"M-Mrs. Phenex!" Izuku said in surprise.
"What are you doing here?" Moe questioned.
"I overheard you two and got curious. After all, quirk use in public is illegal," Kairi said. "Are you gonna turn us in?" Moe asked defensively.
"No. I'm here to offer you help. You two want to be heroes, right?" Kairi asked. "Of course," Moe nodded.
"More than anything," Izuku said.
"Wait, how can you help?" Moe asked.
"I'm no stranger to fire quirks. My brother actually has one," Kairi explained. "Do you have one though?" Izuku asked curiously.
She was silent for a few moments.
'Hmm... Should I tell them? I'd be risking my identity if I do... Hmm...'
After a few moments of thought, she smiled.
"Nope. My quirk gives me enhanced intelligence. I was able to help my brother with his quirk," Kairi lied.
"Woah, that's so cool!" Izuku said with stars in his eyes.
Kairi chuckled at the boy's interest, her chuckling turning into laughter when she saw Moe shake Izuku out of his excited stupor.
"Sorry about him. He loves learning about quirks," Moe said.
"No, that's completely fine. Maybe I can tell you more about it one day. Right now, though, I'm still waiting for an answer. Would you like me to help you?" Kairi asked.
The two of them were silent, sharing a look before focusing on their teacher again. "Why do you want to help us?"
"Well, in the words of a friend of mine, 'A hero always helps people no matter what, asking for nothing in return.' I guess even if I didn't become a hero, I still want to be like one," Kairi explained with a smile.
Kairi watched as the two stared at each other one more time and nodded. The two of them turned to face her once more before bowing slightly.
"Please help us become the best we can be," Moe and Izuku said. Kairi chuckled at them.
"I'll try my best, then. Though, if I'm perfectly honest, I thought only Izuku would agree," Kairi said.
"Why just me?"
"I read Moe's file from middle school. She isn't really one to listen to teachers," Kairi said. "Hey! I accept I'll need help to be the best hero!" Moe shouted with a blush and glare. Kairi and Izuku chuckled at Moe's outburst, making her pout in embarrassment.
"Shut up!" Moe yelled.
"Alright, so it's safe to assume you come here every day?" Mrs. Phenex asked.
"Only on weekdays. Weekends are reserved for us," Moe said.
"Yeah," Izuku said in agreement.
Izuku didn't know what he did to deserve not only a wonderful girlfriend and a new school, but a teacher that also wanted to help train his quirk! Despite that, he accepted it, happy that his life was finally turning around.
"Alright, I won't be able to come here tomorrow, but the following day, I'll definitely be around," Mrs. Phenex said.
"Okay," Izuku said.
"That's fine with me," Moe added.
"Have a good afternoon. I'll see you two tomorrow morning," Mrs. Phenex said before turning and leaving.
Izuku watched her leave before turning to Moe wearing a small smile. "We're gonna get even better now," Izuku said with a smile.
"Yep! Gonna be a lot quicker, too. We might even be better than the strongest students in our class once we make it to UA," Moe said.
"Yeah!" Izuku said with an even brighter smile.
"Now c'mon! I'm gonna be staying over at your house tonight," Moe said.
"W-Who decided that?"
"Me! Now c'mon!" Moe repeated, grabbing his arm and tugging him along.
"M-Moe!"
"Hello, Moe! How was your day?" Inko asked.
"It was great! Especially with Izu being here," Moe said, giving Izuku a side hug.
"That's really good. And I take it, it's the same for you, Izuku?" Inko asked with a knowing smile. "Y-Yeah... It was..." Izuku said with a blush.
Inko giggled.
"That's great. You two can just relax on the couch, I'll make dinner," Inko said. "Thanks, Inko!" Moe said before tugging Izuku to the couch.
The two of them spent the rest of the night cuddling, but eventually they had to go to bed. Izuku had foolishly assumed he was going to sleep on the couch, but Moe had other plans. Trapping his lips in a passionate kiss made him focus solely on her, enjoying every second of their lips being pressed together.
The two of them eventually parted, staring breathlessly at one another. "Come with me to bed?" Moe whispered.
Izuku, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of the night kissing her and cuddling her, nodded. He didn't trust himself to speak, unable to think of a coherent sentence while lost in Moe's beautiful eyes.
"Uh-huh..." Izuku let out mindlessly.
Moe smirked at Izuku's response, kissing his nose.
"Have I broken you?" Moe teased.
"U-Uh..."
Moe giggled before placing a gentle hand against his cheek.
"C'mon lover boy. Let's get to bed."
Moe removed her arms from around him and stood up, gently pulling him to his feet as well. The two of them made their way to the bedroom, not bothering to change into their pajamas. They were already in comfortable clothes, so they could just sleep in those.
Izuku got into the bed first, with Moe climbing in shortly after him. The soft glow of Moe's hair provided all the light they needed in the otherwise dark house. Izuku admired the beautiful dancing of the flames on her hair as they laid in bed with one another. The two of them embraced and kissed one another. It wasn't as passionate as before, but the warmth and loving feelings were still there.
They pulled back and stared into one another's eyes for a few moments before kissing each other again. The two of them shared a few more kisses before finally settling in cuddling with one another, their faces near one another. They smiled at each other.
"I know it might be hard to fall asleep," Moe said softly.
"I doubt it will be too hard. Cuddling with you is so nice that I'm feeling myself relaxing already," Izuku replied.
"You're so sweet, Izu," Moe said, kissing his cheek.
"Good night, Moe," Izuku said softly.
"Good night, Izu," Moe replied, snuggling even closer to him.
Izuku sighed in satisfaction, enjoying the warmth of his girlfriend. Sure enough, it wasn't long before he finally drifted off to sleep.
'It can't possibly get any better than this... But I won't be mad if it does...'
