Notes

Blame Del-la-sol for this one. Reading through her fic "We're Heroes...Technically" made me want to write an IzuMoe fic as well. So blame her. With that said, I hope you enjoy the first chapter of this new fic!

Thanks to Stephano1294 and irmadbro for betaing and editing the chapter!

Igniting a Flame

The last class ended with the ring of the bell. As soon as the bell rang, everyone started packing up their things. It was there, that a literally fire-haired girl was one of the first to leave, ready to get out of the boring school and ready to start the weekend.

Said girl's name was Moe Kamiji, and her quirk, Utility Flames, allowed her to manipulate the flames of her hair into many different tools and constructs for her to use. Her flames could go down to about three inches before she started drawing her flames from her very body temperature. While it did help for bigger constructs, she would get frostbite quickly if she used too much.

Moe was very developed for a middle school girl with a very fit build with a nice set of breasts and an attractive ass and thighs. Many a boy thought Moe was very attractive, but due to her rather fiery and aggressive personality, they tended to steer clear of her in that manner. Speaking of which, two of them were talking about her at the moment.

"You gonna ask her out?" Moe heard a boy in her class ask.

"Kamiji? Hell no! She'd bite my head off!" Another boy said.

"Seriously? C'mon, be brave! You could have a real sexy hothead in bed-"

"Hey! I can hear you!" Moe snapped angrily, storming up to the two boys.

Moe's hair was an inferno as she approached the two boys, who were cowering in fear at her glare.

"You think I'm just some skank just because of how I look? I should kick both your asses!" Moe snapped, causing both boys to flinch.

When they didn't answer, Moe continued.

"But luckily for you dickless cowards, I'm trying to be a hero. So scram before I decide to really make you pay!" Moe snapped.

The two boys flinched once more before running away. As they left, Moe released a growl-sigh. Perverts were a dime a dozen in her crappy school. And she barely had any friends due to her personality. She wouldn't admit it, but she felt somewhat lonely having no one to talk to. After a moment, she shook those thoughts from her mind and decided to resume leaving her school. After changing shoes, she left the schoolyard.

She was about halfway home when she heard an echo of an explosion. Concern gripped her as she wondered what happened. Had a villain attacked someplace close? Only one way to find out.

Moe started to increase her pace in the direction of the explosions and when she arrived, she noticed she was wrong in assuming a villain was attacking. Instead, it was a blond haired boy her age with an aggressive sneer staring down at a fearful green haired boy with green eyes and freckles. The boy looked kind of adorable.

"Well? You said you had such a great quirk right? Then go ahead and use it!" The blond boy goaded.

"I-I can't..." The green haired boy said shakily.

"You can't? Why's that? Because it's useless?"

"Hey!" Moe shouted, getting the blond's attention.

The greenette's gaze was drawn to her as well. The look of hope filling his face made her chest pang slightly. She refocused on the blond who was glaring at her.

"Fuck off Fire Hair Bitch. This doesn't concern you!" The blond said before turning back to the greenette.

Moe saw the look in the greenette's eyes turn back to fear as he focused on the blond once more. As Moe was about to step in to help, she felt her fire being pulled away from her. Observing her hair, she noticed it was being pulled in front of the greenette, taking the form of a shield between him and the blond.

The blond was surprisingly shocked at the demonstration and Moe was surprised and curious as to what the greenette's quirk was. She was shaken from her thoughts when she noticed the movement of the blond as he started running away. She watches as he ran before turning to the other boy, who was still wielding her fire. Her hair was nearly shoulder length rather than her normal length of just below the small of her back. It didn't seem like he was releasing her hair anytime soon, either.

"Hey, you done using my hair? Blondie's gone." Moe said, causing the boy to flinch.

She saw her flames flow back to her hair as the boy released his quirk. He then started bowing rapidly, apologizing up, down, and sideways over taking her fire. It was kind of amusing, drawing a smirk from the fiery haired girl.

"Hey, relax, Greenie. I'm just glad it helped shoo that bully away. You alright?" Moe asked in a more curious tone.

"Y-Yeah... I am..." The boy said, blushing slightly.

"My name's Moe Kamiji. What's your name?" Moe asked, a grin retaking her features.

"M-My name's Izuku... Midoriya..." The greenette said.

"Midoriya, huh? So, you seemed to control fire back there. Why didn't you try defending yourself earlier?" Moe asked with a raised eyebrow, placing her hands on her hips.

"O-Oh, that? Well... I can manipulate fire, but... I can't really produce it... I need to have a source..." Izuku said, looking down slightly.

"That's actually quite interesting, Greenie." Moe said.

"G-Greenie?" Izuku asked with a blush.

"Yep. I'll call you that now. Why, you got a problem with that?" Moe asked.

"N-No, not really..." Izuku squeaked, blush increasing.

Moe had to keep herself from giggling in response to Izuku's embarrassment, only letting an amused smirk through.

"Well anyways, I think that's a rather interesting quirk. From what it seems, you can take it from any source, right?" Moe asked.

"Y-Yeah, pretty much. As long as it's a prolonged flame, I can grab it and manipulate it into whatever I want to use it as." Izuku said with a nod.

"That's pretty neat. Anything that's burning, you can just take those flames away and stop the fire entirely." Moe theorized.

"Yeah... I guess that's true."

"You planning on being a hero?" Moe questioned.

"Y-Yes! More than anything, I want to be a hero." Izuku said with the first sign of confidence Moe's seen in the boy.

Moe's smirk increased to a full on grin.

"Well then, Greenie, I think we're gonna be fast friends, as I, too, want to become a hero." Moe said.

"F-Friends?" Izuku asked in disbelief.

"Well, duh." Moe said.

"I-Isn't it rather sudden? I mean, you just met me-"

"It doesn't matter if it's sudden or not. From what I've seen, you seem to be the guy who needs some positive reinforcement in his life. And like it or not, I'm gonna be the one to give it to you. So you're gonna become a hero with me and you're gonna like it!" Moe said with a feral grin.

Izuku stared at Moe in surprise for a good few moments. A friend? Aside from Kacchan, he didn't really have any friends. And the smile she gave him, while somewhat intimidating, held a certain beauty to it that he couldn't help but blush from.

"O-Okay..." Izuku said shyly.

Moe smiled wider.

"Alright, Greenie. You got a phone?" Moe questioned.

"Y-Yes..."

"Gimme."

Izuku didn't even think as he quickly gave Moe the phone. She typed something into the phone and gave it back to him. He looked to see Moe's number put into his phone.

"Starting tomorrow, we're gonna be working that twig of a frame into something a bit less skinny. You need to get some physical strength if you want to contend with some of the other hero hopefuls out there." Moe said, a grin still on her face.

"W-What?"

"You deaf from blondie's explosions? I said we're gonna train tomorrow." Moe said. "O-Oh."

Moe sighed, calming her excitement to make sure he was alright with it.

"Are you alright with that? If I'm pushing too hard, you don't have to." Moe said in a softer tone.

"N-No, it's okay... I'm just... I'm surprised that someone... Finally wants to help me be a hero..." Izuku said, tearing up.

Moe didn't know what to think when she saw his tears, or when he started sobbing. But she did feel a distinct urge to kick the crap out of everyone who said he couldn't be a hero. Instead, she decided to try and calm him down.

Izuku was surprised when he felt a pair of arms wrap around him. When his head was brought to Moe's shoulder, he unintentionally let the dam break. And Moe simply stayed there, letting him let it all out. He was there for a while before he managed to calm down. When he did, she released him from her hug. She wore a softer smile on her face.

"You feel better now?" Moe asked.

Izuku nodded and when he did, her more energetic side came back.

"Good! We're gonna have to work on your crying. People don't like seeing heroes cry. They're supposed to bring people hope, are they not?" Moe asked with a wide smile.

Izuku found himself smiling in response, Moe's energy bleeding through to him. "Yeah, they are." Izuku said.

"Exactly! Now, I gotta get back home. I'll text you where we're gonna meet up tomorrow, alright?" Moe asked.

"R-Right..." Izuku said shyly.

"See ya, Greenie!" Moe said before jogging away, leaving Izuku where he was.

As Moe walked away, she couldn't help but smile proudly. Not only did she do her first majorly heroic deed, but she got a friend out of it as well. Her spirits were high as she made her way home, eagerly looking forward to the following day.

Izuku remained where he was after Moe left, processing what the hell just happened and if it was actually real. He kept looking at the name in his phone as well as the phone number.

'I just talked to a girl! And she's now my friend! Holy crap!' Izuku thought to himself in disbelief.

He shook his head, slapping his cheeks, trying to calm his panicking mind. He took some time to calm down as much as he could before he started off on his journey home. He really hoped he could calm down fully before he got home. He didn't want to explain to his mother why he was so jittery and smiling like an idiot.

Unfortunately for him, as he got home, his smile didn't calm down at all. And when he told his mother, she pulled him into a hug filled with joyful tears. She was so happy he managed to make a new friend. He made sure to not mention that it was a girl, otherwise she'd flood the whole house instead of just the living room.

After the tear-filled celebration his mother put him through, they went on to dinner. To celebrate gaining a new friend, Izuku's mother made Katsudon for him. After dinner, Izuku, in his excitement, decided to get ready and go to bed early. Just as he was about to climb into bed to sleep, he heard his phone vibrate on his nightstand. He went over and blushed slightly when he saw Moe had texted him. He opened it and read what she sent him.

Moe: Hey, Greenie! You there? Or did I bluescreen your brain when I left?

Izuku blushed in response to the message. He took a few deep breaths to summon enough

confidence to reply.

Izuku: I'm here. I was just about to go to sleep.

Moe: I was gonna go to sleep soon, too. I figured I should tell you about where we're gonna meet tomorrow.

Izuku: Oh yeah. So where are we going to be training at?

Moe: Since I didn't really have any money to go to an official gym, I've been cleaning up this

beach that's just littered with trash. It's called Dagobah Beach. Know where that is?

Izuku took a moment to think if he knew where Dagobah Beach was. He remembered going there a couple times but he didn't remember hearing about it becoming littered with trash. He shook from his thoughts to reply to Moe.

Izuku: Yeah, I know where it is. Is that where we're going to be training?

Moe: Yep! We're gonna both be training our quirks and our bodies while also doing a good deed!

Izuku: When are we meeting?

Moe: At the crack of dawn! Gotta get to work early if we want to become great heroes! That means starting as soon as we can!

Izuku was surprised at the early time, but didn't question it, believing Moe knew what to do better than he did.

Izuku: Okay, I'll see you then. I'm going to get to bed so I'm not extremely tired in the morning. Moe: Alrighty! I'll see you tomorrow, Greenie! Goodnight!

Izuku didn't know why, but Moe calling him 'Greenie' felt very nice to see and, when they spoke when he first met her, felt very nice to hear. He found himself smiling softly as he typed out his reply.

Izuku: Goodnight. Sleep well.

With that, he placed his phone on his nightstand and turned off the lamp on said nightstand. He got comfortable in bed and closed his eyes, letting sleep overtake him and unintentionally thinking about Moe, more specifically her feral, yet attractive smile.

One thing's for certain, he was going to enjoy having a new friend, especially one that didn't want to beat him up and wanted to help him become a pro hero. But what he didn't know, was that this new friend was going to become more than a friend in the coming years...

Izuku woke up to two sounds. The first was his alarm and the second was his phone. He was confused as to who would call him at six in the morning. He didn't look at the caller ID as he pressed the button to stop his alarm before grabbing the phone and answering it.

"Hello?" Izuku muttered in a groggy voice.

"Time to wake up, Greenie! Get some workout gear on and meet me at Dagobah Beach in fifteen minutes!" Moe's voice hollered energetically through the phone.

"Y-You didn't have to call me to wake me up." Izuku muttered shyly through the phone.

"I know I didn't! But you better get used to these calls, 'cuz I'm gonna be doing that every day, including school days."

"Why?" Izuku asked.

"Because I feel like it. Now enough yappin'! Get your ass to the beach! You got ten minutes!"

"B-But you said I had fifteen minutes before!" Izuku said, his eyes widening.

"That's before you wasted five minutes talking to me, now go!"

"O-Okay! See you there!"

Izuku hung up on Moe and rushed to get ready. _

As she heard Izuku hang up, Moe gained a wide smile. She was still in her bed, which was a fireproof, yet fluffy, material that was a fiery red color with orange sheets. Her room had some posters with other fire-themed heroes. It wasn't really girly, but neither was Moe. At least outwardly.

As she looked at the clock, she stretched a bit before getting out of bed and getting changed. She was only five minutes from Dagobah Beach, so she didn't really need to rush. As she put her clothes on, she couldn't help but wonder about the blonde boy she encountered when she went to try and help Izuku. He was a problem, both for Izuku and, if he went to the same hero school she went to, for her as well.

She shook those thoughts out of her head, wishing to think about what she was about to do in terms of training Izuku. She knew he was practically a twig just from looking at him. Plus, even though his quirk control seemed passable, she had only seen him use it in a quite stressful situation. She still needed to see him use it outside of situations like that in order to understand how much control he actually has.

Putting the last piece of her workout gear on, she set off to Dagobah Beach, jogging there at a steady pace. When she got there, Izuku wasn't anywhere to be seen. That was good for her, as that allowed her to think a bit more on what to do first. She quickly set up a place for Izuku to work when he arrived.

Izuku soon arrived, panting heavily as he slowed to a stop. He bent over and kept sucking in breaths. Moe raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"You just sprint a mile or something?" Moe asked.

"N-No... I was... Running here... From my house..." Izuku said breathlessly. "And how far away is your house?" Moe asked.

"About... Ten... Minutes... Away..." Izuku said between pants.

Moe looked at him blankly before sighing, shaking her head.

"We're gonna need to work on that a lot more than I thought, Greenie." Moe said, shaking her head with an amused smile.

"Okay..." Izuku responded, catching his breath.

He suddenly felt something cold on his forehead, drawing his gaze up to the water bottle in Moe's hand as well as the soft look on her face.

"Drink up. Don't want you dehydrated for all our work. And by the looks of it, you need something to cool you off." Moe said, her soft look turning to an amused smirk.

Izuku reached up and took the bottle, breathing out a 'thanks' to her before downing half the bottle. Moe chuckled at his eager gulps.

"Once you recover a bit more, we're gonna get into some upper-body workouts. Sound good?" Moe asked.

"Yeah." Izuku responded before continuing to down his bottle of water.

After a few minutes, Moe dragged him to the place she set up. They arrived in front of a particular pile of trash. What Moe did was bring some of the smaller pieces of trash and put it into a pile for Izuku to work on.

"So you're gonna start off with this relatively light pile. I don't really want you to start out with the heavy stuff, because then you'll be doing more harm than good. So get started on bringing this to the dumpster beside the beach and I'll work on another pile. If you need any help, just call me." Moe said.

"O-Okay. I will." Izuku said.

Moe nodded before walking away, slipping behind a trash pile before peeking her head around the corner to watch Izuku. She wanted to make sure he wasn't floundering before actually getting started with her pile of trash.

She watched him start picking up pieces she felt were relatively light and frowned when she saw his shaking arms. He was a lot more weak than she initially thought. She kept watching for a few more minutes, watching him go back and forth with shaky armfuls of trash for a bit longer before she finally got started.

For the next couple of hours, Moe and Izuku cleaned up their respective piles. When she got the pile down a significant amount, she stopped for the day. She checked on Izuku to see him still working on his pile. She stood back and watched, knowing that if she helped, he wouldn't get anything from the workout.

After twenty more minutes, Izuku finally managed to finish his pile. Moe was actually impressed that he finished it with what she saw. Many times it seemed like he wasn't going to be able to continue, but right as she was about to tell him to stop, he would push himself harder and keep going.

At the end of it, he was on his hands and knees, mouth open and sucking in as much air as possible. His arms were wobbly as they held him up. Moe went to her bag and took out another bottle of water and brought it over to him. When she got to him, she bent down and helped him to his feet.

"C'mon, Greenie. The sand isn't any place for you to relax." Moe said, helping Izuku over to a nearby bench away from the piles of trash.

Izuku, at any other time, would have been furiously blushing at the closeness of a girl. But at the moment, he was too tired to care, simply accepting the help and collapsing on the bench when he was brought there. Moe watched him gulp down the water she gave to him with a smirk.

"Jeez, we've got a lot of work to do to get you up to my level. Luckily for you, the weight training portion of the day is finished. We're now going to be working on our quirks, starting with yours." Moe said, placing her hands on her hips and staring down at Izuku with a smirk.

Izuku didn't know why, but seeing her looking at him with that smirk made his chest feel weird in a good way. He found himself smiling slightly in response to her smirk. Seeing him smile made her smirk go wider.

"I see you're looking forward to that. Good! You'll have a break to catch your breath then we'll head over to a place I set up to practice my quirk." Moe said with a smile.

Izuku blushed slightly at the smile Moe gave him. It wasn't her usual feral smile, it was more excited than feral. His blush increased when Moe sat next to him, deciding to wait with him.

"So, Greenie, to pass the time, how about you tell me a bit about yourself." Moe said.

Izuku was surprised she wanted to know more about him. He didn't think she was interested in knowing about a guy like him. He blushed as he saw her staring expectantly at him.

"W-Well, what do y-you want to know?" Izuku asked shyly.

"Hmm... How about your reasons for becoming a hero?" Moe asked.

"O-Oh... Well... When I was young, I always watched All Might do all his heroics with a smile. Everyone he saved felt so safe when they saw his smile. I want to be like that, saving people and relieving them with a smile." Izuku said seriously with conviction.

Moe found her cheeks feeling slightly hotter than usual at the serious expression on Izuku's face. Her blush lasted for only a moment before smiling wide at Izuku.

"That's a good reason. I have a similar wish, just not with a smile. I'm not really that friendly." Moe said with a chuckle.

"Yeah you are." Izuku said, surprising her slightly.

"Nah, I'm not. I mean, have you seen my smile? Looks more scary than friendly." Moe said. "Not to me. It looks nice." Izuku said in a moment of brave honesty.

Moe, not having ever heard someone say that before, blushed in response, looking away and trying to calm herself down.

'C'mon, Moe! You're not a fucking school girl! Calm down! It's not like you just got complimented by a cute... nice... STOP!' Moe thought to herself, shaking her head rapidly a couple times before returning her gaze to a blushing Izuku.

"Well, I think you've rested up enough! Let's get started with our quirk training!" Moe said, standing from the bench and startling Izuku with the sudden movement.

Izuku quickly scrambled to his feet, still feeling slight fatigue but not wanting to give up on training. He followed Moe as she walked away, not noticing the blush on the girl's face.

'Why am I feeling this way? This is the second day of me knowing him for Kami's sake! I need to calm down!' Moe thought, slapping her cheeks a couple times and taking a deep breath.

They soon arrive at an open sandy area bordered by trash in a rectangular shape. A few trash piles were near the far end of the area that looked burned in places, signifying that they were targets for Moe's quirk.

"Alright, we're here! So, your quirk requires an active source of flame, right?" Moe asked. "Yeah, that's right." Izuku said, his mind switching to quirk related things.

"Then use my hair as a source of fire and try to hit those targets." Moe said with her usual feral grin.

"W-What? Are you sure?" Izuku asked.

"I'm sure. And don't worry, you won't fully extinguish my hair. My hair can go down to three inches in length before drawing from my internal temperature. So you have all this hair to use." Moe explained.

Izuku looked between her and the trash piles before taking a breath, closing his eyes and concentrating. Grabbing the familiar feeling of flames, he pulled, bringing the flames from Moe's hair to him. He opened his eyes to see a small ball of fire in front of his hand. He looked in amazement as the green flames swirled about in the ball. He looked to see Moe smirking as well,

gaining a blush as he did.

The flames slowly slipped away when he lost concentration, flying back to Moe's hair. He shook his head and regained his concentration as he turned to the trash pile targets. He swung his hand towards the first pile of trash and watched as the orb of flame shifted from a spherical shape into a long projectile of flame shooting at the trash pile. As it impacted it, the flames exploded where it hit before they returned to Moe's hair.

"Woah..." Izuku muttered in amazement, not having tried to do that before. "Woah?" Moe questioned.

"I haven't really... Done something like that before." Izuku said.

"You haven't?" Moe asked.

"I didn't really have any place to practice stuff like that. I've only moved fire around in the air. It's pretty fun to do so." Izuku said.

"Can you show me?" Moe asked, now curious as to what Izuku did with his quirk before that day. "May I use your hair again?" Izuku asked.

"Any time we're training, you're free to use my hair unless I say otherwise." Moe said, nodding. "Thanks. Now, uh... Like this..." Izuku said, pulling some of her flames to his hands.

Izuku proceeded to take the ball that formed in his hands and stretch it out into a single long tendril. He then started moving it through the air like an eastern dragon would have done. It twisted and turned in the air with grace that Moe found beautiful. After a bit the flame deteriorated and floated back to her hair. She looked at Izuku with curiosity.

"S-Sorry, I'm not used to using a lot of flames. I usually have candles that provide for it and their

flames aren't that big." Izuku said shyly. Moe chuckled in response.

"Well, starting today, we're gonna get you used to using larger amounts of flames for different things. Like this." Moe said before flexing her quirk.

Before Izuku's eyes, Moe's hair flowed from her head into a flaming shield on her hand. Izuku's eyes widened in wonder, causing Moe to smile wider.

"My quirk is called Flame Utility. I'm thinking it functions almost identically to yours, only my quirk uses flames from my own body and I am unable to use external flames.. If we work hard enough, we might get you to make stuff like this." Moe said with a smirk.

"W-Woah!" Izuku said in amazement.

"Yeah. But first..." Moe started before releasing her quirk. "We're gonna have to work your way up to that. So first, fire control. Let's get started." Moe said.

"Right!" _

For the rest of the day, they trained their control over their quirks. Izuku really enjoyed training with Moe. She pushed him, but always made sure he wasn't overexerting himself, always forcing him to take a break when he looked like he was about to fall over, despite any protests he gave her.

At the end of it, they sat at the bench, recovering some of their energy so they could head home. "So, how was that for your first day working out ever?" Moe asked with a smirk.

"It was... Amazing." Izuku said with a satisfied smile.

"Hah! Glad you liked it, Greenie. 'Cuz from today onwards, we'll be training hard until we get into UA." Moe said with a smirk.

"Even on school days?" Izuku asked.

"Of course! I mean, we'll get changed out of our school clothes before even thinking about working out, but still, we'll be training every day we have time for." Moe said, her smirk turning to a more genuine smile.

Izuku saw her smile and blushed, smiling in return.

"I look forward to tomorrow, then." Izuku said.

"Me, too. Now c'mon! Let's get going." Moe said, standing from the bench.

Izuku stood up from the bench before starting to walk his way home, noticing Moe following him. He didn't say anything, just happy he was able to spend a bit more time with her, even if it was spent in silence. As he got to the street his house was on, he stopped to ask Moe a question that was burning in his mind through the whole walk home.

"D-Do you live around here?" Izuku asked, blushing slightly.

"No." Moe replied.

"What? Then why are you walking with me?" Izuku asked.

"I wanna know where you live. Why? Do you not like walking with me?" Moe questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"N-No! No! That's not it at all!" Izuku sputtered, drawing an amused smile from Moe as she watched his speech devolve into muttering apologies for making it seem like he didn't like walking with her.

She blushed slightly when he said something along the lines of "I'd never hate walking with such a beautiful girl", but kept listening to his mutters, noticing he didn't even process what he said. Eventually, she stopped him.

"Izuku!" Moe said, shutting him up completely. She decided to keep talking now that he was silent.

"You didn't have to apologize. I understand you didn't know why I was walking with you. Now could you stop muttering before you die from oxygen loss?" Moe asked, the last part being a joke.

Izuku chuckled sheepishly.

"S-Sorry... I kind of do that a lot..." Izuku said.

"I've noticed..." Moe said, a smirk still on her face.

Izuku blushed slightly in embarrassment.

"W-Well, my house is just over there... I'll... Text you tonight?" Izuku asked.

"Of course! I won't be letting you get to sleep without at least a goodnight." Moe said with her usual feral grin.

Izuku's chest warmed when he saw the smile that he quickly grew to enjoy. He nodded, his blush still on his face.

"W-Well, stay safe on your walk home!" Izuku said.

"I will. You make sure you rest after the long day of training you had. Got it?" Moe ordered.

"Y-Yes I will!" Izuku responded.

"Good! See ya!" Moe said, waving once before turning and walking away.

Izuku watched her leave, finding himself smiling at her disappearing figure. She was so nice to him and it made him so happy. As she completely disappeared from view, he turned and went to the door to his house, opening it up and greeting his mother as he entered.

The rest of the night was calm, with Izuku telling his mother about how his first day of training went and what Moe said to him about resting for the remainder of the day. She agreed with his friend's orders, not wanting her baby to hurt himself with not resting.

After dinner, Izuku watched television with his mother, happily spending his time with her as he rested on the couch. At the end of the day, he retired to his bedroom, where he eagerly looked forward to Moe's text. And about ten minutes after he got ready for bed, she texted him.

Moe: Hey! You still awake? Sorry I didn't text earlier, I had to do a couple things. Izuku smiled as he responded.

Izuku: It's alright. I was actually waiting for you to text me.

Moe: You were waiting for me? Idiot! You could have just texted me, you know? I would have

just responded when I was done.

Izuku: Sorry! I didn't know if I should or not!

Moe: Ah, it's alright. Just remember that from now on. I don't have to initiate these texts. Moe: So! Tomorrow's gonna be different than today. What we're gonna be doing tomorrow is lower body workouts, meaning jogging and stuff. You able to do that?

Izuku: Well, does the run to the beach count?

Izuku silently hoped that it did count, as he didn't want to do another run on top of it. Moe: No.

Izuku groaned in disappointment before redirecting his attention to his phone again as Moe sent another message.

Moe: It never will. And the reason why is because once you do get used to that kind of workout, it won't even feel like anything to you. I will let you rest after you get to the beach, though. I don't want you to practically pass out after one lap around where we'll be running.

Izuku: Thank you!

Moe: You're welcome. Now, get to sleep. Before I come over to your house and make you sleep. Izuku: Yes, ma'am!

There was a pause, causing Izuku to think that Moe was laughing.

Moe: Goodnight, Greenie. See you tomorrow.

Izuku: Goodnight, Moe. Thank you again for helping me. Moe: It's my pleasure to help. Now sleep.

Izuku: Okay.

With that, Izuku placed his phone on his nightstand. He wore a soft smile as he looked at the phone. As he turned off his light and got comfortable in his bed, he could only think of Moe's feral smile. Why was it so attractive to him? And why did he always feel nice when around her? He fell asleep thinking of those questions, and because of that, the only thing he dreamt about was Moe all night.

Controlling A Heated Flame

I suppose I should say now for anyone who finds this fic in the future that Moe's quirk was decided before any information was shown on her and her quirk in canon, so of course her quirk is most likely not gonna be what I thought up. It would be cool if it was, though.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

See the end of the chapter for more notes

After the first day, Izuku and Moe met up every day to train. The weekends allowed them to train almost all day while school days only allowed them a few hours to train. Neither of them complained, enjoying the time they were able to train together. They quickly grew to enjoy one another's company way more than they would have thought.

Izuku and Moe, since they were their only real friends, tried to spend time with one another outside of training as well, routinely going to hero conventions, Izuku's pick, and to fighting tournaments, Moe's pick. Moe found it cute how he always geeked out at hero conventions. Much like how Moe found Izuku cute at conventions, Izuku found Moe cute whenever he saw her face when they watched fighting tournaments. She always wore a mixture of her excited smile and her feral smile, combining into an adorable mixture of happiness that Izuku wanted to see more of.

As the months went on and turned into a year, they revealed more about each other to one another. Moe's mother was out of the country, working in the UK while her father took care of her. Much to Moe's surprise, Izuku had a similar living situation, with the only differences being that his father was overseas and was in the United States while his mother took care of him. On the subject of his mother, Moe asked to meet her, which he was embarrassed about, but allowed nonetheless.

Inko loved Moe the moment she was introduced, pulling the fire-haired girl into a tight hug when she first met her. Moe was shocked as to how much the woman could cry without getting dehydrated. After the initial tearful meeting, Moe became embarrassed when Izuku started getting scolded for, in Inko's words, "never telling her about knowing such a beautiful girl". With the shade of red Izuku's face was when looking at her the rest of the day, she began to wonder if he liked her more than friends. Not knowing if she should ask, she decided to keep her thoughts on the matter to herself for the time being.

As for Moe's thoughts on Inko, she thought she was the sweetest woman on the planet. Moe never really had a motherly figure in her life, so she never knew the embrace of a mother until Inko came along. She quickly grew to love the green haired woman that was her crush's mother. And with

Inko knowing her, that meant she could spend even more time around Izuku while also having the benefit of having an absolutely wonderful motherly figure to spend time with.

Yes, Izuku was her crush. Being the kind of girl she is, she quickly acknowledged her feelings for the boy. But with him being her first and only real friend, she didn't want to ruin the friendship she had if he didn't feel the same. So she tried to keep those thoughts to a minimum.

Needless to say, being around Moe was a large help for Izuku. His confidence got a boost and any scathing remarks he had at school didn't affect them like they previously did. Bakugo certainly didn't like it, but at that point, Izuku didn't give a damn what the blond thought. And with the blond's new caution around Izuku from Izuku using his quirk, he couldn't back up any of his remarks either. Izuku wasn't the only one that changed either. Moe changed a bit as well, due to the two cinnamon rolls she hung out with any time she was out of school or not at her house.

As time continued to pass, the two continued learning new things about each other. Moe grew concerned when, one of the times she asked some things about his school, he barely touched the subject, only responding with a simple "It's alright," before moving on to ask her about something else.

Moe, wanting to know what was up, kept asking him about it. She noticed discomfort on his face whenever she asked, which caused her heart to clench. Despite seeing his reactions, she pressed on, wanting to know what was making him uncomfortable about school. Eventually, she managed to achieve her goal, but would she really like the outcome?

Izuku fell onto the bench after dropping one last load of trash into the dumpster. He was way stronger than when he started out, meaning he was able to move on to the actual piles instead of relying on Moe to set out piles that were filled with things close to his weight. As he opened a bottle of water, he felt the bench move as Moe fell onto it, letting out a loud and satisfied sigh.

"We're making some damn good work, Greenie!" Moe said with her usual feral grin as she opened the bottle of water and chugged it.

Izuku chuckled, smiling at the girl's behavior. He had long accepted his crush on the fiery haired girl before him, but also accepted that she very likely didn't like him the same way, so he didn't really act on those feelings. It wasn't like he was brave enough to do it anyways.

"So, Greenie. You gonna tell me yet?" Moe asked.

"Tell you what?" Izuku asked in reply, knowing what she was asking but not wanting to answer. His head lowered slightly when he heard the sigh Moe responded with.

"Izuku, you know what I mean." Moe said, her voice turning soft.

Izuku loved hearing her soft voice, but he was too busy feeling guilty that she used his actual name rather than her nickname for him. He felt a warm hand on his shoulder, drawing his gaze to the source, which was Moe, who was looking at him with a concerned expression.

It was a side of her only he got to see. The soft side. To others, she was the energetic, sometimes scary, very aggressive girl who wouldn't take shit from anybody and wouldn't care to give the time of day to anyone she didn't care about. But Izuku was always able to see the other side of her. The side that showed how she worries, cares, and wants to help others. But she would only show that side to Izuku and he felt honored to have the ability to see it.

Izuku looked away from her in shame. "I'm sorry... I just..." Izuku trailed off.

"I understand. But I want to know. You don't have to tell me all of it. I'm fine with just knowing part of it, at least." Moe said softly, gently squeezing his shoulder in a gesture of support.

Izuku silently debated whether or not to tell her, but found his mind and heart both agreeing to tell her. He breathed a sigh before looking back up at Moe, taking in her concerned look that shifted into a gentle smile that took his breath away.

"I'll... I'll tell you." Izuku said with a nod. "Thank you." Moe said softly.

Izuku nodded once more in response before taking another steadying breath. "Well... I don't really have the best... School life..." Izuku said, looking away.

Moe was silent, allowing him to tell her at his own pace. She already assumed he didn't have a good school life, what with his depressed look on his face whenever she asked about it. She kept listening as he continued to speak.

"I... Like following the rules. When my quirk came in, I never used it unless I was at home. I didn't want to break the unlicensed quirk usage law, so I only ever tried using it in defense. So most of the people I thought were my friends saw me as quirkless, including my best friend... One day he tried to show that I was actually quirkless and that's when I used my quirk in defense once before." Izuku said.

"How? Did you have a candle or something nearby?" Moe questioned.

"No, he used his Explosion quirk and it started a fire in the grass. So I took the small flames and tried shielding myself with it." Izuku said.

"You were friends with Blondie?" Moe asked, frowning.

"I guess..." Izuku said.

"Wait, if he created explosions, couldn't you have taken that from him?" Moe asked.

"His explosions are so sudden I don't have time to grab it from his hands before they're gone." Izuku explained.

Moe nodded in understanding before letting him continue.

"Anyways... It was so weak back then that he still looked down on me, saying how I'd never become a hero with such a weak quirk... I kept trying to be a hero, though. Which I think angered him. He kept bullying me afterwards. No one did anything, not even the teachers. I think it was because they thought Bakugo would become the next great hero. That's around the time we met,

actually." Izuku said, finishing his explanation.

When he looked back at Moe, she wore a blank expression. He saw her take a couple deep breaths as her flaming hair seemed to be showing her true emotions: pure anger. She let out one last deep breath, releasing it with a growl as her face morphed into a scowl.

The girl whose hair was currently a raging inferno stood up and stomped into the piles of trash. Izuku, worried about what she was gonna do, followed after her with a somewhat panicked expression. When Moe stopped, they were in their quirk training area. Wordlessly, she started throwing her flames at the trash piles with angered growls and grunts. As she did, she spoke.

"Fucking-"

One fireball gets thrown.

"-Piece-"

Another.

"-Of-"

And another.

"-Shit-"

A larger fireball.

"-Bastards!" Moe finished, throwing a much larger ball of flame at the trash piles. "M-Moe..." Izuku said.

"Izuku, listen to me now. Got it?" Moe said, her piercing eyes staring straight into Izuku's soul. Izuku nodded rapidly.

"You're going to switch schools, I don't care where, but you're not going through high school with those assholes." Moe said in a growl.

"W-What?"

"Am I clear?" Moe asked.

"Y-Yes! You are!" Izuku said quickly.

"Good!" Moe shouted.

Moe took a deep breath, calming slightly before she spoke again. "So... Is he still your best friend?" Moe asked.

Izuku didn't even have to think to respond to Moe's question. "Not at all, you are, Moe." Izuku said with complete honesty. Moe smirked at his response. It turned soft soon after.

"Good. I'm glad you think so." Moe said softly.

Izuku didn't hear it, as he devolved into a mutter spree of why Moe was his best friend. Moe simply listened to it with an amused and fond smile. As much as she tried to get him to stop his habit of muttering, it never stopped. And at this point, she gave up and accepted it as part of him. It was actually quite funny to listen to his muttering sometimes at the right subject.

Suddenly, her eyes widened and her face exploded in a blush. 'Did I hear that right?' Moe thought to herself.

What she just heard was Izuku muttering how she was his crush and wanted to ask her out but knew he had no chance with her. Part of her wanted to punch him for thinking he had no chance, while the other part of her wanted to hug him and tell him yes a million times. She decided to go for the middleground.

She placed a firm hand on his shoulder, silencing his mutters immediately. He looked at her with a blush.

"S-Sorry for muttering." Izuku said shyly.

"It's alright. But that's not the reason why I stopped you." Moe said, blushing slightly.

"O-Oh? What was it for?"

"Did you really mean it?" Moe questioned.

"R-Really mean what?" Izuku asked, blushing a bit more.

"That you have a crush on me and want to ask me out?" Moe asked.

Izuku's heart dropped, fearing she didn't want to be in a relationship with him. Even so, he couldn't lie to her, so with a wincing face, he nodded.

"Y-Yes... I do..." Izuku said quietly.

Izuku winced even harder as he heard the silence. His eyes snapped open when he felt Moe's arms surround him in a hug. He looked to see Moe wearing a blush and an awkward look on her face.

"I... Have a crush on you, too." Moe said, releasing the hug after a few moments and stepping back.

"Y-You do?" Izuku asked.

"I just said it, you moron. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it." Moe said with a frowny pout, looking back at him.

Izuku's mind couldn't help but think she looked cute with the kind of pout she had. The rest of him was freaking out that his crush actually liked him back. Thankfully, with him being used to being around Moe, he actually had the ability to say the next words that he wanted to ask with minimal difficulty.

"W-Will you go out on a date with me?" Izuku asked.

Moe blushed, a surprised expression on her face. But it quickly disappeared as she worked off of his bravery to respond.

"Yes!"

Burnin' Love

Chapter Notes

After asking Moe out, they finished up their training for the day. As Izuku was about to head home by himself, he was suddenly joined by his date.

"Moe? Aren't you going to head home?" Izuku asked.

"I told my dad I was going to stay over at a friend's house today. And that friend's house is yours." Moe said with her usual grin.

"R-Really? W-What about-"

"I told Inko already, don't worry." Moe said cleverly.

"H-How?"

"Your mother has a cellphone, too. It also helps that your trash piles are usually a bit away from mine." Moe said, her grin turning to a smirk.

Izuku sighed, his shoulders drooping. He then straightened back up and fixed Moe with a teasing smirk.

"I'll be taking the couch, then. Don't burn down my bedroom in your sleep." Izuku said teasingly.

His tease got the effect he desired as she blushed for the slightest of seconds before she punched his shoulder.

"Fucker! I won't!" Moe shot back.

Izuku laughed in response, causing Moe to frown more in mock annoyance. She finally gave up on trying to look angry and smirked again. She was proud that Izuku got more confident. It allowed

him to not cower under her personality except for the occasional embarrassing moments which he still got embarrassed under.

The rest of the walk was a calm one filled with comfortable conversation as the fiery haired girl accompanied her soon to be boyfriend to his house. When they got there, Izuku went to take the first shower, giving Moe the opportunity to talk to Inko about some things.

"I'm so glad you could stay over today, Moe. It's always a joy to have you over." Inko said with a kind smile as she sat on the couch with the fiery haired girl.

"I'm happy to stay over, too, Inko. It's always so nice here." Moe said with a soft smile. "That's good. I'd hate it if you didn't like it here." Inko replied.

Silence passed before Moe got Inko's attention again.

"Inko? I, uh... I have a question to ask." Moe started.

"Take him to a hero cafe and make sure it serves katsudon and he'll definitely fall harder for you." Inko answers.

"W-What? That wasn't-How did you know?" Moe asked with an embarrassed blush.

"A mother knows these things. That and you two were walking closer to each other than normal." Inko said with a clever smile.

"W-Well... Thank you for helping me with that... But that wasn't what I wanted to ask." Moe said.

"Oh? Then what was it?" Inko asked.

"Well... Could you perhaps have Izuku change schools to mine?" Moe questioned. Inko gained a teasing smile, worrying the fiery haired girl.

"Oh? Do you miss my Izuku that much that you want to be closer to him?" Inko teased, drawing a blush from Moe.

Inko was the only other person to be able to get her flustered like that. Such is the power of mothers. The other person who could successfully fluster her was Izuku, but it was always unintentional in his case.

"W-Well... Maybe..." Moe muttered. "Hmm?" Inko asked with a smirk.

"It... would make going to training a bit quicker since we'd be at the same school... And... Okay, fine! I want to be closer to him!" Moe said, blushing still.

Inko giggled victoriously in response to Moe's flustered response.

"Very well, Moe. After he finishes this last year of middle school, he'll go over to your high school. Have you told him the name of your school?" Inko asked.

"No." Moe replied.

Inko giggled once more, this time more mischievously.

"I guess you'll have to surprise him on the first day." Inko said.

Moe couldn't help but smile slightly at the thought of surprising him. She looked forward to seeing his reaction to going to the same school as her. Her thoughts were broken when Izuku came out of

the bathroom with a loose green shirt and sweatpants.

"Alright, Moe. It's ready for you." Izuku said as he walked out.

"Alrighty!" Moe said with her usual feral smile returning. She waved once to Inko before grabbing her bag that she brought with and walking into the bathroom, closing it behind her.

Izuku watched her leave before turning to his mother. He had to tell her something that he didn't know if she'd be okay with. He took a deep breath to steady his nerves before approaching her.

"Mom?"

"Hmm? What is it dear?"

"I need to ask you something..." Izuku said, sitting beside her.

"You don't seem so sure. Is everything alright?" Inko asked.

"Well... Would it be okay for me to... Well... Change schools when I get to high school?" Izuku asked.

Inko was surprised. Him asking to change schools concerned her. He didn't show any signs of wanting to switch schools. She was planning on bringing the subject of changing schools up later, but if he was bringing it up, that meant something might have been wrong. At least, that's what her motherly senses were telling her.

"Why is that, dear?" Inko asked softly.

"Well... I haven't really told you, but a lot of people haven't really been nice to me. I've kind of beared with it since Moe's been helping me a whole lot and it didn't really hurt like it used to. But today I told her about it and, well... I want to switch schools now." Izuku said.

On one hand, Inko wanted to relentlessly try to shut down the school that hurt her baby. But on the

other, since Izuku was actively wanting to switch schools, she didn't really feel like doing it now that Izuku was moving on to a different school. She did think to keep watch over the school in case she saw anything interesting happen there.

"I'm so proud of you for telling me this. I'll look into getting you transferred to a different school." Inko said with a soft smile.

Izuku smiled in response, hugging his mother and whispering a "thank you" before pulling back. He decided to change the subject.

"So, what's for dinner?" Izuku asked.

"I was thinking we could have spicy curry, since Moe's home." Inko said.

"I'm terrible with spicy stuff..." Izuku said with a groan.

"Don't worry, I won't put a lot of spice into yours." Inko replied with a smile and giggle.

"Did I hear spicy curry?" Moe called from the bathroom, the door open to reveal Moe's head, the rest of her body behind the door.

"You heard right, Moe!" Inko called in response.

"Awesome! You're the best!" Moe shouted before closing the door once more. _

Dinner was dominated by Moe as she energetically talked about their day as well as other things Inko asked about. Izuku liked how Moe was so comfortable around him and his mother. It made his heart warm with happiness.

After dinner, the three of them went to the living room to watch some action movies before bed and when it came time to go to bed, Izuku took the couch like he said and Moe took his bed. Izuku

was a bit nervous having a girl over, but when he reminded himself that it was Moe, he relaxed. Of course, he was still nervous that his soon to be girlfriend was spending the night in his house.

After a couple hours of nervousness, he finally was able to fall asleep, due to a mixture of fatigue and finally coming to terms with Moe sleeping in the same house as him. The next morning yielded a different wakeup call than he was used to, though.

Izuku was enjoying a nice peaceful sleep as the morning came around. That is... until he felt a poking on his cheek drawing him awake. He opened one of his eyes and looked to see Moe smirking.

"Good morning," Moe said with a smirk.

Izuku, wanting to get a few hours of sleep before waking up groaned and turned over.

"A couple more hours," Izuku grumbled.

Moe grinned devilishly as she heard his response. She turned around and plopped her butt down on Izuku's side, drawing a grunt of surprise.

"Nope! You're waking up now!" Moe said as she remained sitting on him, despite his squirming. "Alright! Alright! Just get off me!" Izuku shouted.

Moe kept her feral and victorious grin as she stood up, allowing Izuku to sit up on the couch and frown at her.

"You ready for today?" Moe asked.

Izuku took a moment to remember before blushing slightly, remembering what they were doing. He nodded in response.

"Good! Because I know where we're going," Moe said.

"Oh?" Izuku questioned.

"Yep! And I'm not gonna tell you. So you just get ready and we'll get going," Moe said.

Izuku, surprisingly eager to finally go out on a date with his crush, quickly got out of bed and went to get changed. Moe watched with an amused look on her face, her chest warming as she saw the excited smile on his face before he went into his bedroom. She then decided to freshen herself up a bit.

Izuku came out later in a green t-shirt and a pair of jeans. It was relatively simple, but he didn't know what kind of date they were gonna have. He heard the bathroom door open and Moe came out in a red T-shirt and jean shorts, looking as beautiful as always, especially with her trademark feral grin.

"Lookin' good, Greenie," Moe said.

"Y-You do, too," Izuku replied, blushing slightly at the compliment.

Moe blushed at Izuku's compliment but kept her composure. "Good! Wouldn't want you to think I'm ugly," Moe joked.

"You never are..." Izuku said shyly, breaking Moe's composure.

Moe blushed and looked away, hooking a clump of her fire hair around her finger and twirling it slightly as she tried to calm her shyness.

"T-Thank you..." Moe replied shyly. "Y-You're welcome..." Izuku said shyly.

Moe coughed once before speaking.

"W-well, let's get going. C'mon," Moe said, taking his hand and pulling him to the door. Izuku let her pull him, enjoying how warm her hand was.

"Inko, I'm taking Izuku somewhere! We'll be back later!" Moe called.

"Okay! Have fun you two!" Inko called from her bedroom.

"We will!" Moe called in response.

Izuku and Moe left soon after.

Moe was nervous. At least, internally. Externally, she was keeping up a confident facade as she really wanted the date to go off without a hitch. Thankfully, the place where they were going was exactly what Inko described and it made Izuku's reaction all the better.

Izuku saw the cafe when they arrived and instantly gasped. Moe turned to see he had stars in his eyes, warming her heart at the look of awe.

"I haven't been here yet! This is awesome!" Izuku said excitedly. Moe smirked.

"Then c'mon! Gotta get a good seat before the lunch rush comes," Moe said, pulling him.

Moe quickly went from pulling him to him pulling her as his excitement got the better of him. She liked how excited he was, marking that as a point in her favor. They entered and were soon brought to a table. Izuku was smiling happily as he looked at the menu. His bright smile brought a softer smile to Moe's face as she watched him looking through the menu.

"See something you like?" Moe questioned as he saw stars return to his eyes. "There's katsudon!" Izuku said excitedly, drawing a giggle from Moe.

"Yep, there is."

"Did you see anything you like, too?" Izuku asked with a smile.

"That I do..." Moe said, keeping her gaze on Izuku.

"Oh? What is it? I'd be willing to pay for it." Izuku said, looking up and locking eyes with her.

The two went silent as they stared into one another's eyes. Both of their chests felt warm as they saw the gentle gaze the other had. They both smiled at one another and before they spoke up, the waiter came.

"Find anything you like?" The waiter asked, ruining the moment, much to Moe's disappointment.

Before Moe could snap at the waiter, Izuku answered.

"Yes. I'd like the katsudon and she would like the..." Izuku looked back at Moe.

Moe quickly looked down at the menu and found something spicy she'd like to have. She then looked up.

"The spicy ramen." Moe said.

"The spicy ramen, please." Izuku said, looking back at the waiter.

"Alright, your food will be right out. Do you want anything to drink with that?" The waiter asked. "Just water would be fine." Izuku said, looking to Moe for confirmation.

Moe nodded to him, causing Izuku to nod at the waiter, who smiled in response.

"Very good. Like I said, that will be out soon." The waiter said before turning and leaving the two. Izuku turned back to Moe who had an annoyed look on her face.

"Interrupted us..." Moe grumbled.

"Calm down, Moe. He didn't know." Izuku said.

She sighed, but continued.

"Still, he should have..." Moe muttered, pouting.

She felt Izuku's hand on hers as he spoke once more.

"No he shouldn't have. I doubt many people would come here for a date." Izuku said.

"Why not?" Moe asked.

"Because it isn't as 'romantic' as other places. But to be honest? This is absolutely perfect for me, so don't go thinking we went to the wrong place for our date," Izuku said, a gentle smile on his face.

"Okay," Moe said, sighing in defeat. "Thank you, Moe," Izuku said softly.

Silence fell over the two. It was a comfortable silence, but Moe looked to be slightly uncomfortable. It was something Izuku noticed.

"Moe? Is something wrong?" Izuku asked.

She looked at him for a moment before sighing, looking down slightly.

"Well... I don't really know what to do on a date," Moe said.

Izuku looked at her silently for a moment before chuckling, causing Moe's gaze to shift to him once more.

"What?" Moe asked with a frown.

"Sorry. It's just... I'm so used to you being so confident all the time, it's just funny seeing you so unsure," Izuku said.

"Hey!" Moe snapped softly.

"It's alright. I honestly don't know either. I guess we should just do what comes naturally to us," Izuku said.

"What comes naturally to us..." Moe said in thought.

She then looked to Izuku with her usual grin, making him smile.

"So, I was thinking the nickname 'Greenie' is getting a bit old. I mean, now that we're boyfriend and girlfriend, it should be different, right?" Moe asked.

Izuku raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"I guess," Izuku said.

"So how does Izu sound?" Moe questioned.

Izuku felt his heart flutter at the name. He smiled slightly, his cheeks heating up. "Well... I really like it," Izuku said shyly.

"Then Izu you shall be!" Moe said with a grin.

'She really doesn't beat around the bush, does she?' Izuku thought, smiling.

"I accept this new name," Izuku replied, playing along.

The two chuckled in response to their banter. After they calmed down, they descended into comfortable conversation as they waited for their food. They didn't really know what to talk about, so they simply struck up random conversations after small spans of silence with hand holding. The two of them never really let go of one another's hand unless their other hand was occupied.

The date was simple, but oh-so-effective as, on their walk back, their arms were around one another. Moe had initiated it, much to Izuku's embarrassment. But after a bit of Moe not removing her arm from around him, he returned the gesture, much to Moe's joy.

Both of them were glad to finally act on their feelings of attraction towards one another. Moe felt like the happiest girl in the world after being able to finally act on her feelings and Izuku felt like the happiest guy in the world for doing the same. Their feelings were easily seen as they had satisfied smiles on their faces.

"So, how do you think Mom will react when she sees us coming home like this?" Izuku asked.

"She'll be happy. I actually told her what we'd be doing last night and she fully supported it," Moe replied.

"O-Oh... That's good," Izuku said with a blush. Moe giggled softly.

"You currently have an arm around a girl who's now your girlfriend and you get shy when I mention your mom knowing about this?" Moe asked, amused.

"S-Shush! I don't want to get teased by my mom!" Izuku replied.

Moe laughed in response to his embarrassed reply. Her head found its way to his shoulder after she calmed from her laughter.

"I feel so strange..." Moe commented. "Hmm? How so?" Izuku asked.

"I never really acted like this for a whole day... And I only feel comfortable acting like this around you. It's weird..." Moe said softly.

"Maybe because you know you don't have to act all confident around me. I like you for you, not because you're some hottie, but of course that's an added bonus..." Izuku said the last part of the sentence shyly.

Moe blushed at his opinion of how she looked. Even so, she smiled, happy he liked how she looked.

"I'm glad you think of me like that. And... I'm glad I can be like this around you." Moe said softly, nuzzling her head a bit deeper into his shoulder.

The two of them walked the way to the Midoriya Household in comfortable silence. When they got there, Moe stayed for a bit before needing to go back to her house. The couple shared a caring hug at the door before Moe left. As Izuku watched his new girlfriend leave, he couldn't help but think about how lucky he was to have an amazing girl like her as a girlfriend. And he would never be able to know how wonderful his life would truly be in the next few years until it happened...

It didn't take long after asking his mother if he could switch schools that Inko "found" one for him. When she told him where he was going to be attending once he finished middle school, he got excited. Coincidentally, it was before his training with Moe, meaning he left to tell her with excitement on his face.

When he arrived at Dagobah Beach, he first took in the sight of it. Over the months, they had been knocking out more and more trash. It was actually starting to look more like a beach than a junkyard, with a clear divide between the left and right side trash piles that showed a beautiful view of the ocean. Of course, the view was immediately ruined if one looked to either side of the divide.

"You're zoning out!" Moe's voice snapped him out from his thoughts.

He looked over to his right where Moe was jogging her way over to his position. The sun framed his girlfriend's face perfectly as she gave him one of her award winning feral smiles. He smiled in return, fully turning to face her.

"Sorry. I'm still surprised at how much we managed to clear so far." Izuku said.

"Not really a surprise. Both of us are working hard, after all. When it was just me, it was so slow, but now that you're here with me, we're actually making progress. We might actually get it done before our last year of highschool at this rate," Moe said, turning to face the beach.

"Yeah, we might... Wanna have a date on this beach afterwards?" Izuku asked.

"My, my, aren't you a confident boy," Moe said teasingly, bringing a blush to his face. "W-Well? Yes or no?" Izuku asked, trying to fight through his flustered state.

Moe giggled.

"Yes I'd like that. Now c'mon! Let's get started. You can tell me about your day while we work." _

Izuku and Moe started moving trash. As they worked, Izuku told her about his day. They had started that practice ever since Izuku told Moe about his school life. She had to practically force him to tell her about his day the first few times they did it, but after a while, he fell into the habit of telling her all about it.

As for his day, it was normal. No one really interacted with him except for the usual Bakugo intimidation attempt of glaring at Izuku. It didn't have the same effect it did back when he first met Moe. When he finished telling her about his day, he added that he was going to be going to another school for the start of his highschool career.

"Really? Which is it?" Moe asked, knowing exactly where.

"She said Nevarr High School," Izuku replied.

Moe mentally cheered as she heard the name of the school. "Awesome! I know they'll treat you better," Moe said encouragingly. "You think so?" Izuku asked hesitantly.

"I know so. I mean, any place is better than Aldera, if you ask me," Moe said, walking up to him and taking his hand.

Izuku chuckled nervously.

"I guess I'm just worried that it'll be the same."

"Well if it's the same, tell me and I'll storm over there and set them straight!" Moe said, releasing his hand and crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'll remember that," Izuku said, blushing slightly at how defensive Moe was.

"Good! Now c'mon! We got like two more hours before the sun sets! Let's get back to work!" Moe said, changing the subject.

"O-Oh! Right!" Izuku said, breaking from his shy state and refocusing on the task at hand.

Moe watched him move to his pile with an amused and fond smile for a moment before turning and resuming her work.

The rest of the year went by quickly, with Izuku and Moe continuing to clean the beach after every school day and hang out afterwards at Izuku's house. A few times, she was able to sleep over at his house, too.

Bakugo's "bullying", if it was even considered bullying, kept up throughout the year. But one day while he was seething, he heard something about Izuku changing schools, not going to Aldera High School like he was. At first he was happy. Finally, the nerd was gone!

Bakugo enjoyed the happiness of knowing that Izuku wasn't going to be anywhere near him for highschool. But in his happiness, he then realized something. If Izuku was gone, how would he know his place anymore?

At the end of their last day of middle school, Bakugo decided to finally confront Izuku. He found him easy enough, walking home after the end of school.

"Deku!" Bakugo snapped.

Izuku stopped and looked at Bakugo with a curious expression, nothing at all like the fearful boy that he was before meeting that flame haired girl. He grit his teeth.

"What is it, Bakugo?" Izuku asked.

Using his family name wasn't new. He started doing it about a month after the incident with the girl. Even so, it made him angrier.

"What the fuck is going on with you going to another school? Huh?" Bakugo stormed up to him and was about to reach for Izuku's collar when he heard the flick of a lighter.

Quickly stepping back, a thin whip of flame streaked upwards from Izuku's side before settling into the palm of Izuku's hand. The serious look on his face made Bakugo take another step back.

"I'm going to another school so I don't have to deal with you, Bakugo," Izuku responded. "What the fuck did you just say to me?" Bakugo growled.

Izuku, channeling Moe's behavior, responded.

"Are you deaf? I just said I don't want to deal with you anymore, poprocks! Years, you just tormented me just because of how my quirk works. All I ever wanted was to be friends with you, but then you found out what our quirks were and you just tossed that friendship into the dirt and pissed on it! I'm done trying to salvage this friendship and done being around you. So in the words of Moe, I'll tell you these last words: Fuck off."

Bakugo was stunned to silence once Izuku cursed. Never once did he ever curse. He simply watched in stunned silence as Izuku took a breath to calm himself, dissipate the flame he had in his hand, and walk off without another word.

After Izuku left Bakugo, he went to see Moe, wanting to take his mind off of things. It wasn't that Izuku was sad, though. He was genuinely happy he finally told off his tormentor. But even so, his mind was a mess from his outburst. Luckily for him, Moe was quick to wrap him in a comforting hug that eased his mind.

The following day came and Izuku officially graduated from Aldera Middle School. He was relieved that he didn't have to go to that school again past that point. Moe and Inko were, too.

Surprisingly to Izuku, Moe forced him to take a break from training during the break between middle school and high school. In that time, Moe and Izuku spent a lot more time together, almost spending whole days together in some cases.

Aside from Izuku and Moe's increased time together, the break was a calm one, which was surprising considering Moe was around a lot of the time. Eventually, the break ended and Izuku's first day came.

"Hmm... Why does this remind me of Moe's uniform...?" Izuku thought aloud as he looked at himself in the mirror.

The school uniform was a pair of ash grey pants and jacket with a fiery orange button up shirt underneath. It was a strange combination, but one that would definitely allow people to recognize where the wearer went to for school. After a moment of thinking, he just shrugged.

"Might just be a coincidence," He concluded with a shrug before walking to his phone. He pressed the messaging app and texted Moe.

Izuku: Have a good first day.

It didn't take long before Moe replied.

Moe: Oh, I will definitely have a good first day.

Izuku didn't like how ominous that sounded. Did Moe plan a surprise visit to his school halfway through the first day? He stared at Moe's name on his messaging app with suspicion for a while, but was interrupted by his mother.

"Izuku! Breakfast is ready!" Inko called. "Coming, Mom!" Izuku called in response.

He looked back at his phone for a moment before shaking his head and pocketing his phone, grabbing his bag and walking to the kitchen to get breakfast.

Izuku had his breakfast and hugged his mother goodbye before leaving for school. As he walked, the feeling of nervousness crept into him. He was worried the school would be either the same or worse than Aldera, even if the chance of that was low.

He soon arrived at the front gates of the school. The main school building was two stories tall with a brick red color to the outside. Students were slowly filing into the schoolyard, eager to either start their high school lives or reluctant to resume going to high school. Luckily for Izuku, no one was really focusing on him.

The previous week, Izuku was sent a letter that had his class information on it, so he was able to find his classroom no problem. But he wasn't expecting to find who was there and waiting for him.

Izuku turned the final corner to his classroom and the first thing his eyes locked onto a head of flaming green hair. His eyes widened with surprise as soon as his gaze lowered to the familiar feral grin of his girlfriend.

"M-Moe?!" Izuku asked, shocked.

His outburst drew many student's attention. When they looked at who he was staring at, they immediately felt sorry for him, thinking the girl was about to yell at him. What actually happened shocked them.

Moe, instead of responding, simply walked up to him, glancing around real quick. There were a fair amount of girls in the hallway, meaning it was a perfect chance to send a message to everyone.

"Come here, lover boy," Moe said when she got close.

Everyone's eyes widened so far that they threatened to pop out of their skulls at the sight before them. Moe grabbed the back of Izuku's head and pulled him into a passionate kiss. What they didn't know was that it was their first.

Izuku's brain had fireworks going off, his face was flushed red, and he was frozen. Moe's kiss was unexpected, but felt oh-so-good. The sensations from it made his heart flutter in his chest and his arms instinctively move to hug her.

Moe's heart was thumping in her chest. Mix that with a warm feeling and she just made her day the best day of her life. He was such a good kisser, too! It was wonderful and she wanted to keep kissing him even more. When she pulled back, she watched as Izuku rebooted his mind, much to her amusement.

"What the?" "Who's that?"

"Is that Kamiji's boyfriend?"

"Seriously? I thought her boyfriend would be... well... meaner..."

"That's a shame... He's pretty cute..."

Moe found herself smirking slightly at the murmurs of the students. Her plan had worked and boy did she enjoy it.

"W-Woah..." Izuku's voice brought her focus back to him.

"Better expect more of those, Izu. Because I am hooked... " Moe said in a quiet voice. "O-Okay..."

Before Moe could go in for another kiss, the bell rang, signalling that it was time to get to class. She sighed in annoyance before refocusing on Izuku, smiling.

"You gonna keep hugging me or do you wanna get going to class? I wouldn't mind skipping it so we can have more time to ourselves," Moe said, her teasing smirk reappearing.

"O-Oh right!" Izuku said, removing his arms from around her.

Moe giggled before taking the arm that wasn't holding his bag.

"C'mon! Let's go!" Moe said.

Izuku allowed Moe to drag him into the classroom, completely ignorant to the wide-eyed stares of the students in the halls. His focus was still on Moe, trying to comprehend how she was there.

"So... you knew I was going to come to your school?" Izuku finally asked.

"Yep!"

"And you didn't think to tell me?"

"Nope! I wanted it to be a surprise. And judging by how you reacted, you loved it just as much as I did," Moe said with her feral grin once more on her face.

"W-Well... Yes... I did..." Izuku muttered shyly, making her grin wider.

The second bell rang before they could talk further and the teacher walked in. She was a woman

with long azure blue hair with pale white skin and yellow eyes. Izuku instantly wondered what her quirk was. Did it have something to do with her eyes? Or her hair? Or maybe both? And why did she seem so familiar?

"Greetings, class. I am your homeroom teacher for the remainder of your time in this highschool. I am Mrs. Phenex. Today, we will be doing simple ice breakers so everyone knows everyone as well as passing out your schedules for the semester," The woman said with a smile, breaking Izuku from his thoughts.

One by one, the students began introducing themselves and told everyone about their quirks. Some of them had interesting quirks like changing their head into an animal's head while others had simple quirks like changing their hair.

Eventually it was Izuku's turn and he stood up. Moe could tell he was nervous just by how he was standing.

"H-Hello... My name is Izuku Midoriya... My, uh... My quirk is... Well... It's called Pyrokinesis. I can manipulate flames, but it has to come from a source. I can't make any fire myself," Izuku said.

"Show us!" One of his classmates said.

Izuku looked conflicted. He wanted to show it, but he didn't want to break the law.

"I'll allow it just this once," Mrs. Phenex said.

He looked at the teacher before looking around at the students looking at him expectantly. He finally landed on Moe who was smiling at him and nodding. He finally caved and nodded.

"O-Okay..." Izuku said with a nod, taking a calming breath.

Izuku proceeded to take some of Moe's fire hair, which she didn't react to, and made it flow around similar to how he demonstrated to Moe when she first showed his quirk. Moe watched, always finding it calming to watch. When Izuku returned the flame to Moe's hair, he looked around. Everyone's faces, excluding the teacher, were frozen in shock.

"That is a rather interesting quirk, Midoriya. And that was a wonderful display. You may sit down," The woman said, a kind smile still on her face.

"Th-Thank you," Izuku said shyly, nodding before sitting down.

He glanced at Moe to see her looking at him. She smiled at him, drawing a smile from him as well as he couldn't not smile at her beautiful smile. He then refocused on everyone as they finally regained their senses.

The rest of the introductions went well until Moe stood up for hers.

"Yo, I'm Moe Kamiji. I know you're wondering why I didn't completely rip into Izu over stealing some of my hair for his demonstration. That's because we're a couple, so back off girls." Moe said, her feral grin changing to a glare whenever she fixed her eyes on a girl in the class.

Izuku was surprised she kept herself from cursing. It might have been because it was the first day and the teacher was around. Either that or him being around was causing her to calm down slightly. Even so, he was proud of his girlfriend.

"And anyone who tries to bully him will get my foot stuck up their ass and my flames down your throat. Got it, fuckers?"

'...And there's the foul mouthed girl I know and love.' Izuku thought with an amused smile on his face.

"Anyways, my quirk is called Flame Utility. I can use the flames on my head to form different kinds of tools and stuff that I want. If I use too much of my hair, I start drawing flames from my body temperature." Moe finished before sitting back down.

"Well... Aside from your colorful language, I'd say that was an interesting quirk and a good introduction.

'If she thinks that's colorful, she hasn't been around Moe enough...' Izuku thought to himself.

The rest of the introductions went by without any more problems and at the end of it, they were given their schedules. After a little while longer, homeroom ended and Izuku walked with his girlfriend to their next class. So far the day was good. He could only hope the rest of the day would be the same.

Chapter Notes

See the end of the chapter for notes

The remainder of the day was going as he had hoped. The majority of the people in his class were fearful of getting close to him due to him being Moe's boyfriend, however, a rare few were brave enough to introduce themselves.

Juzo Honenuki was a pale skinned boy with angular eyes, mid-length spiky beige colored hair, a flat nose, small eyebrows, and a mouth lacking lips, exposing his teeth for all to see. He had a calm demeanor and, despite lacking lips, Izuku could tell he was smiling when talking to him. It made him happy that Honenuki enjoyed talking with him. Honenuki wasn't the only brave person in Izuku's class however.

Kosei Tsuburaba, a spiky brown haired boy with round oval eyes and irises, was another who was brave enough to approach Izuku. Unlike Honenuki, whose bravery seemed to stem from a genuine lack of fear of Izuku, Tsubaraba's seemed to be based more on recklessness. The boy seemed defiant of, if not totally oblivious to, Moe's fiery glare. Either way, the boy happily introduced himself to Izuku.

With two new friends, Izuku could proudly say that his school life was starting to look up.

RIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG!

"Okay everyone, have a good afternoon! Please turn in your papers to me before you leave!" Izuku's math teacher called out.

Izuku stood up from his desk, collecting his things and putting them in his bag. "Hey Midoriya," Kosei said, walking up to his desk.

"Hmm?"

"What do you say we hit the arcade?" Kosei suggested with a smile.

"Sorry, Kosei, I'm gonna be training with Moe," Izuku said with a sheepish grin.

"Yep! Maybe ask Honenuki or something," Moe said, hooking her arm around his neck.

"Honenuki? He's not the arcade type," Kosei complained.

"Because I know better. You're too competitive for it to be fun," Juzo commented as he walked past.

" You're no fun!" Kosei whined.

"Too bad, so sad!" Moe said, grabbing Izuku's arm and yanking him out of the classroom. _

Kairi Phenex was walking through the halls of Nevarr High School. The final bell had rung and she had to get back to her classroom to retrieve the papers she needed to grade. That was, until she heard a couple of familiar voices.

"C'mon, Izu! We gotta get to Dagobah," she heard Moe Kamiji shout over everyone else. "J-Jeez, why are you so excited?" Izuku responded.

"We're gonna test out something with your quirk! C'mon!"

Against her better judgement, she decided to let her curiosity take control. Thankfully, she was able to resist it long enough to grab her papers before leaving the school. Her two students were gone when she left the school building, but she wasn't worried. She knew where Dagobah Beach was.

Taking a moment to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything, she started off to Dagobah, curious as to what her students were doing there.

She was shocked. She remembered seeing some trash on Dagobah before, but nothing compared to how it was now. Piles upon piles of trash littered the beach and she would have continued staring at them had she not gotten a phone call.

Taking out her purse, she saw a picture of a flaming bearded man scowling into the camera. She groaned before accepting the call.

"What is it, flame breath?" Kairi asked in an annoyed tone.

"You're late. You're going to miss your patrol," A voice growled on the other side.

"I'm taking a day off. School just started, and I need time to get used to it," Kairi replied in a snappy tone.

"Are you serious right now?"

"I am serious, bonfire. You gonna fire me?" Kairi questioned threateningly. A growl was her response.

"Fine. You need to be here tomorrow, though."

"Alright. Don't burn your agency down," Kairi said before ending the call.

Hearing the sound of metal hitting metal, she lowered herself slightly. She relaxed when she saw Izuku and Moe carrying armfuls of trash over to the nearby dumpster.

"Alright, it's clear. Let's go," Moe said, tugging Izuku back into the trash piles.

Kairi followed from a distance, curious as to what they were doing. The two high school students entered a clearing with dozens of targets made of trash . She stood back, watching from a distance as Moe threw spears of flame into the targets, setting them ablaze.

"Alright, now take all the fire from here," Moe instructed.

"Okay," Izuku replied, reaching forward to retrieve the flames from all of the targets.

As he collected the smaller flames, they gradually combined into a large singular flame held aloft in his open palm.

"Now, try seeing if you can compress the flames to make them hotter," Moe suggested.

'That's actually some interesting advice. Let's see-'

Kairi watched as the flame shrunk in size and changed in color. It started glowing a bright orange before shifting to a green color and then finally settling into a pale blue with a white center. It was quite interesting to watch in her opinion.

"Awesome! Now, throw it at that target!" Moe ordered, pointing to one of the trash targets.

"R-right!" Izuku said, the flame quivering and increasing in size slightly as he struggled to maintain focus.

Kairi watched as Izuku threw his arm forward; the ball of flame soared through the air and collided into the trash pile, engulfing it entirely in blue flames, visibly melting the contents.

"Awesome! That means you don't have to just work with flames at set temperatures! You can make them any temperature you want!" Moe said in excitement.

"Yeah! I can!" Izuku replied with an excited nod.

The two of them embraced in a tight hug, hopping ever so slightly as they did so. Kairi smiled at the emotions displayed before finally deciding to make herself known.

"That's quite the display," she said, getting the two's attention.

"M-Mrs. Phenex!" Izuku said in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" Moe questioned.

"I overheard you two and got curious. After all, quirk use in public is illegal," Kairi said. "Are you gonna turn us in?" Moe asked defensively.

"No. I'm here to offer you help. You two want to be heroes, right?" Kairi asked. "Of course," Moe nodded.

"More than anything," Izuku said.

"Wait, how can you help?" Moe asked.

"I'm no stranger to fire quirks. My brother actually has one," Kairi explained. "Do you have one though?" Izuku asked curiously.

She was silent for a few moments.

'Hmm... Should I tell them? I'd be risking my identity if I do... Hmm...'

After a few moments of thought, she smiled.

"Nope. My quirk gives me enhanced intelligence. I was able to help my brother with his quirk," Kairi lied.

"Woah, that's so cool!" Izuku said with stars in his eyes.

Kairi chuckled at the boy's interest, her chuckling turning into laughter when she saw Moe shake Izuku out of his excited stupor.

"Sorry about him. He loves learning about quirks," Moe said.

"No, that's completely fine. Maybe I can tell you more about it one day. Right now, though, I'm still waiting for an answer. Would you like me to help you?" Kairi asked.

The two of them were silent, sharing a look before focusing on their teacher again. "Why do you want to help us?"

"Well, in the words of a friend of mine, 'A hero always helps people no matter what, asking for nothing in return.' I guess even if I didn't become a hero, I still want to be like one," Kairi explained with a smile.

Kairi watched as the two stared at each other one more time and nodded. The two of them turned to face her once more before bowing slightly.

"Please help us become the best we can be," Moe and Izuku said. Kairi chuckled at them.

"I'll try my best, then. Though, if I'm perfectly honest, I thought only Izuku would agree," Kairi said.

"Why just me?"

"I read Moe's file from middle school. She isn't really one to listen to teachers," Kairi said. "Hey! I accept I'll need help to be the best hero!" Moe shouted with a blush and glare. Kairi and Izuku chuckled at Moe's outburst, making her pout in embarrassment.

"Shut up!" Moe yelled.

"Alright, so it's safe to assume you come here every day?" Mrs. Phenex asked.

"Only on weekdays. Weekends are reserved for us," Moe said.

"Yeah," Izuku said in agreement.

Izuku didn't know what he did to deserve not only a wonderful girlfriend and a new school, but a teacher that also wanted to help train his quirk! Despite that, he accepted it, happy that his life was finally turning around.

"Alright, I won't be able to come here tomorrow, but the following day, I'll definitely be around," Mrs. Phenex said.

"Okay," Izuku said.

"That's fine with me," Moe added.

"Have a good afternoon. I'll see you two tomorrow morning," Mrs. Phenex said before turning and leaving.

Izuku watched her leave before turning to Moe wearing a small smile. "We're gonna get even better now," Izuku said with a smile.

"Yep! Gonna be a lot quicker, too. We might even be better than the strongest students in our class once we make it to UA," Moe said.

"Yeah!" Izuku said with an even brighter smile.

"Now c'mon! I'm gonna be staying over at your house tonight," Moe said.

"W-Who decided that?"

"Me! Now c'mon!" Moe repeated, grabbing his arm and tugging him along.

"M-Moe!"

"Hello, Moe! How was your day?" Inko asked.

"It was great! Especially with Izu being here," Moe said, giving Izuku a side hug.

"That's really good. And I take it, it's the same for you, Izuku?" Inko asked with a knowing smile. "Y-Yeah... It was..." Izuku said with a blush.

Inko giggled.

"That's great. You two can just relax on the couch, I'll make dinner," Inko said. "Thanks, Inko!" Moe said before tugging Izuku to the couch.

The two of them spent the rest of the night cuddling, but eventually they had to go to bed. Izuku had foolishly assumed he was going to sleep on the couch, but Moe had other plans. Trapping his lips in a passionate kiss made him focus solely on her, enjoying every second of their lips being pressed together.

The two of them eventually parted, staring breathlessly at one another. "Come with me to bed?" Moe whispered.

Izuku, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of the night kissing her and cuddling her, nodded. He didn't trust himself to speak, unable to think of a coherent sentence while lost in Moe's beautiful eyes.

"Uh-huh..." Izuku let out mindlessly.

Moe smirked at Izuku's response, kissing his nose.

"Have I broken you?" Moe teased.

"U-Uh..."

Moe giggled before placing a gentle hand against his cheek.

"C'mon lover boy. Let's get to bed."

Moe removed her arms from around him and stood up, gently pulling him to his feet as well. The two of them made their way to the bedroom, not bothering to change into their pajamas. They were already in comfortable clothes, so they could just sleep in those.

Izuku got into the bed first, with Moe climbing in shortly after him. The soft glow of Moe's hair provided all the light they needed in the otherwise dark house. Izuku admired the beautiful dancing of the flames on her hair as they laid in bed with one another. The two of them embraced and kissed one another. It wasn't as passionate as before, but the warmth and loving feelings were still there.

They pulled back and stared into one another's eyes for a few moments before kissing each other again. The two of them shared a few more kisses before finally settling in cuddling with one another, their faces near one another. They smiled at each other.

"I know it might be hard to fall asleep," Moe said softly.

"I doubt it will be too hard. Cuddling with you is so nice that I'm feeling myself relaxing already," Izuku replied.

"You're so sweet, Izu," Moe said, kissing his cheek.

"Good night, Moe," Izuku said softly.

"Good night, Izu," Moe replied, snuggling even closer to him.

Izuku sighed in satisfaction, enjoying the warmth of his girlfriend. Sure enough, it wasn't long before he finally drifted off to sleep.

'It can't possibly get any better than this... But I won't be mad if it does...'

"Yes, ma'am," Izuku and Moe responded.

Mrs. Phenex was standing in front of them with a smile on her face and her hands on her hips.

"So, I only saw you use your quirk twice, but I've noticed you've used your hands primarily both times, whether it be to hold it or direct it. Do you do that every time?" Mrs. Phenex questioned, staring at Izuku.

"O-Oh, yeah... I... Use my hands to direct my flames," Izuku said with a nod.

"Well, today we're going to find out if you need your hands to direct your flames," Mrs. Phenex said.

"If I don't need them?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah. Your quirk requires an external source of flame, meaning more of your quirk's power is diverted to the actual control of flames. Controlling flames isn't so much physical as it is mental. Meaning, you might not even need to use your hands at all. Using them would be more for flashiness, which is useful for when you're a pro," Mrs. Phenex explained.

"How did I not think of that before?" Izuku asked himself aloud, causing Phenex and Moe to chuckle.

"Don't worry, Izu. You can't think of everything," Moe said before turning to her teacher. "So, what about me? This isn't just to train Izu."

"That's right. That's why you're going to work on creating your tools as quickly and with as little thought as possible. Create it as quickly as possible, then deconstruct it and create another," Mrs. Phenex instructed.

"I like this," Moe said with a wide grin. _ "I don't like this..." Moe groaned.

She and Izuku were leaning against one another on a bench. Mrs. Phenex instructed them on taking a break after training for a couple hours. Needless to say, Moe felt like Izuku when she first started helping him work out.

"Don't be such a baby. You're already improving. I timed your construction speed and it already decreased by a second," Mrs. Phenex said.

"At least you're improving faster than me," Izuku said tiredly with a weak smile. "I can't even get flames to move unless I use my hands."

"I wouldn't be so sure. The flames Kamiji set up for you flickered every time you tried using your quirk. You've just relied on your hands so much that you think that's the only way you can control the flames you come across. It is indeed easier, as you have a place to focus where your flames move to, but there can come times where you aren't able to use your hands. You need to prepare for that possibility," Mrs. Phenex explained.

"I understand... It's just so hard," Izuku said.

"It'll get easier as we continue training. Now how about we get back to training?" "Alright," Izuku and Moe said in a soft groan.

"I'm exhausted..." Izuku groaned, falling onto his couch.

Moe fell on top of him with a similar groan. As much as Izuku should have been embarrassed at how she was acting, he was too tired to care, simply wanting to embrace it.

"Me, too..." Moe sighed, her arms wrapping around him as they laid on the couch.

"How was your day?" Inko asked with an amused smile on her face as she saw the two lazily cuddling on the couch.

"Tiring," Moe replied.

"Mm..." Izuku let out.

Inko giggled at the two's tired actions.

"Well, you have some time before dinner, so you can rest all you want," Inko said before turning and reentering the kitchen.

"Yaaaayyy..." They groaned in unison, causing her to giggle. _ "Izuuuuuu..."

"What?"

"I don't wanna get outta bed..." Moe whined. "We have to," Izuku replied.

He had just pressed the top of the clock after the alarm went off before returning to snuggle with his girlfriend, who had snuggled even deeper into him.

"But you're too comfy..."

"M-Moe, if we don't get up, we'll have to explain why we were there late to Mrs. Phenex, meaning we won't be training until later," Izuku said with a blush.

"Your good points suck..." Moe grumbled, raising herself so her head was in front of his.

Izuku smiled at her, blushing ever so slightly. His blush increased when Moe planted a loving kiss on his lips.

"But fine, we can get up. You're carrying me to school, though," Moe said when she pulled back. "I'd love to," Izuku said.

"Mhm, I'm sure you would. Practicing for our marriage?" Moe teased.

"I-Uh-Wha-Um!" Izuku stammered violently.

Moe laughed victoriously, causing Izuku to pout at her.

"You're adorable when you're flustered," Moe said, kissing his cheek before getting out of bed. "And you're so mean!" Izuku said.

"You love me anyways!"

Izuku's lack of an answer brought Moe to another fit of laughter, smiling victoriously during the whole thing.

"Sh-Shut up!"

"Gah! I hate classes!" Kosei whined as he flopped his upper half on the cafeteria table.

"I'm sure they aren't that bad," Izuku said with a sheepish smile.

"They aren't. Kosei is just unable to learn the most basic things," Juzo said with what sounded like a smirk.

"Shut up! I try, alright?"

"If by try, you mean sitting back and playing video games immediately after you get home, then no you don't," Juzo replied with a flat expression.

"He got you there, Tsuburaba," Izuku said with a smile.

"You guys are so mean! Why do I even hang out with you?"

"Because you love being around us," Moe shot back, arriving with a tray of food. "Sorry I went ahead," Izuku said as Moe sat beside him.

"You're forgiven, so long as you give me something when we get home," Moe said with a smirk. "Okay, I'd rather not hear about your... intimate relationship," Kosei said.

"That's because you know you won't get anyone, Tsuburaba," Moe replied with a feral grin, taking Izuku's hand with her free hand as she began eating.

"Ouch," Juzo said, chuckling.

"How about we change the subject from my everlasting loneliness to something different, like how your training is going," Kosei suggested.

"I've been trying to see if I can use my quirk without my hands," Izuku said. "And I've been working on making my tools quicker," Moe added.

"Both useful aspects," Juzo said with a nod.

"Yeah, that's pretty cool," Kosei nodded.

"Fuck yeah it is! We actually have someone training us, too!" Moe said with a feral grin. "Oh? Who?" Kosei questioned.

"Wouldn't you like to know," Moe said with a smirk.

"Yes I would," Kosei replied.

"Well too bad!"

"C'mon! Kamiji, you're terrible!" Kosei whined.

"I know I am-"

RIIIIIIINNNNGGGGG

The group of friends got up from their seats a moment after the bell rang. "Ugh, I hate Language..." Kosei groaned.

"Too bad for you. Let's go," Moe ordered. _ "Again," Kairi ordered.

Izuku let out a groan as the flames flew back to the burning pile of trash. Izuku had been getting better at pulling the flames without the aid of his hands, but he was still slow. He needed to be quicker or else he could end up injured or worse in a real situation.

"You may gripe now, but think of when you're in trouble with your arms in a bind. You'll be thanking me later," Kairi said.

Izuku, with his hands forced to his sides, grunted in exertion as he activated his quirk and flames from the trash pile slowly creeped his way. After a few moments, they were forming into a large orb of fire.

"I did it!" Izuku said with a groan.

"Good! Now do it again," Kairi ordered once more.

"Ugh!" Izuku let out, releasing his quirk and watching as all the hard-earned fire returned to its original place.

"Be glad I'm not trying to make you compress your flames into much hotter ones before returning them," Kairi threatened.

"Y-Yes ma'am!" Izuku said quickly.

Kairi smirked before turning to Moe, who had just created a shield on her hand before releasing her quirk and letting the flames return to her hair. Right as she tried forming another tool, Kairi spoke up.

"Kamiji!" Kairi called.

Her voice disrupted Moe's concentration, causing the tool to dissipate before taking full shape. She looked up at Kairi in curiosity, causing her to smile.

"What?" Moe asked.

"Think less about making your tools. I expect when we're done with it, you'll be able to respond without stopping your construction," Kairi replied.

"Dammit!" Moe cursed before going back to her quirk training.

Kairi laughed a couple times before going silent and watching the two of them train their quirks. She wore a proud smile on her face. It wasn't even a month into their training and they were already showing improvements.

'These kids... They're gonna be future top ten pros, I know it.' Kairi thought to herself. "Alright you two! Break time!"

"Okay!" The two replied.

Her two students came together and leaned against one another, smiling at one another and talking to each other. Kairi watched from afar with a smile still on her face.

'Yeah. They're going to be the best.'

"Izu! It's on! Hurry!"

"Alright! Give me a second!"

Izuku was in the kitchen of his house, a container of ice cream in his hand. He had just opened up the freezer when Moe called for him. Placing the container in the fridge and closing it, he grabbed a pair of spoons and took two bowls from the nearby counter. He quickly made his way over to the living room where Moe was eagerly staring at the television.

"C'mon, c'mon!" Moe called hurriedly.

"Alright! Alright!" Izuku replied, sitting beside her.

Moe snatched her ice cream bowl, not even looking away from the television. Izuku looked over to see the hero channel broadcasting a live feed of a villain attack.

"We bring you live to the Nevarr Prefecture where the evil villain duo Infernus and Blizzard are wreaking havoc! Endeavor and his sidekicks have just arrived on the scene!"

"Just in time!"

"Yeah!"

"Your time of villainy is at an end!" Endeavor roared, a large orb of fire swirling in his hand. Endeavor shot his hand forward, the orb exploding as a large pillar of fire shot from his palm

towards two costumed individuals. One was in a charcoal black costume with red boots, gloves and mask while the other was in an ice blue costume with white accents, a white hood, white boots and gloves.

The two villains dove away, revealing three civilians in the trajectory of the flames. They screamed in fear, but before anything could happen to them, the flame was diverted away.

"You know, Endeavor? Maybe try harder to control your aim!" a woman snarked.

The woman who had chastised the Number Two Hero strode out of a cloud of smoke that was kicked up from a nearby explosion of flame, her hair and three-pointed crown reflecting the fires around her before they were taken and brought into a flaming cape. She had a stern, analytical gaze on her face as she looked at the hero and two villains.

"G-Golden Phoenix! Thank you!"

The woman's gaze shifted to the civilian who thanked her and she gained a soft and caring smile on her face.

"It was my pleasure. You get to a safe place. Our sidekicks are nearby, so just call for them when you're out of here, alright?"

"Okay!"

"Pay attention!" Infernus' voice broke through their conversation.

The civilians gawked in fear as they saw the flames behind her. The hero didn't do anything except raise her gauntlet-clad right hand, the talon-like spikes on the wrist of the gauntlet shining in the combined sunlight and flames with the main body. The flames halted completely as a result of her raising her hand. Twisting her hand, the flames descended and compressed into her flaming cloak just like the other fires before it.

Turning around, she brushed debris off her golden l armored vest, revealing the azure phoenix emblem emblazoned on it.

"That all you got? That was nothing!" she barked, a wide and confident smile on her face. _

"Kick their asses!" Moe shouted.

"You got this!" Izuku cheered.

Infernus growled in anger as Golden Phoenix stepped forward.

"Well? I'm waiting! Or did the candlestick run out of flame?" she asked.

"Why you-"

"Your fight is with me!" Endeavor roared, sending another pillar of flame Infernus' way.

Infernus had no time to avoid the flames as it impacted him and sent him flying towards Phoenix. She raised her hands to where her palms faced Infernus. The flaming cape on her back curled downwards on either side of her body before they surged forwards in two tendrils of flames that wrapped around the villain, ensnaring him and restraining him in the air.

Following her capture of the first one, she flicked her right hand and pointed her palm up, calling a large ball of fire to it before putting her index to her thumb and flicking the air.

"Phoenix Prison!"

The orb of flames morphed into a flaming phoenix and flapped its wings, soaring straight at the snow-themed villain. He tried using his quirk to stop the phoenix, shooting a miniature blizzard from his hand to attempt to quench the flames.

The flaming phoenix was undeterred by the snow and wind shot its way and when it was finally upon the villain, it exploded into a cage of fire, trapping the villain without even touching him.

Golden Phoenix saw the displeased expression on Endeavor's face and smirked victoriously.

'Looks like I outshined you again, flaming dumpster fire.'

She refocused on the two villains, lowering the one suspended in the air to the ground for the officers to arrest once they reached him. She released the burning cage around Blizzard once the officers were there as well.

Suddenly, she started hearing voices talk over each other. Looking over, she saw a wall of reporters trying to get her attention. She sighed.

'Oh great... Reporters...'

"Yeah!" Moe cheered.

"She did it again!"

"Take that villains! Golden Phoenix fucks you two over!"

The television shifted its view of the fight to the view of inside the news office, the main anchor looking into the camera screen with a smile on his face.

"Once again, another great arrest done by Endeavor and his sidekick. Stay tuned for an interview with the golden flaming mistress. But first, a word from our sponsors!"

"I'm so glad we got a day off because of this!" Moe said.

"Aside from it being caused by the villain attack, I'm also glad we got the day off. I just wonder if Mrs. Phenex is gonna keep to our schedule or if we have the day off from that as well," Izuku commented.

"We'll still clean the beach of trash even if we can't practice our quirks. Past that, we still need to practice what Phenex told us to practice," Moe replied with a shrug.

"That's fair. Do you want to leave early then?"

"Oh hell no, you're not moving from this couch until the minute we have to leave. I'm not letting this cuddle opportunity go to waste," Moe shot back.

"O-Oh..." Izuku blushed.

Moe laughed.

"C'mon, Izu. We've been cuddling for what, seven months now? Why so embarrassed?"

"Y-You caught me off guard..."

"Well, you should know that if there's an opportunity, I'm gonna take it."

"R-Right..."

They refocused on the television in time for the commercials to end.

"Welcome back to the Hero News Network! I'm your anchor, Lee Kisha! And to welcome you back to our broadcast is a special interview with the flaming mistress herself, Golden Phoenix!"

The screen switched to a video feed of the scene that was just fought in with Golden Phoenix in all her glory being the sole focus of the camera. She wore a kind smile as she waited for her question.

"So, Golden Phoenix, you showed remarkable quirk control today. What hero university did you go to to learn such impressive control?"

"I went to UA University back when I was younger. And back then, my quirk wasn't nearly as strong as it is now. It only increased in strength thanks to the teachers and my classmates pushing me to improve until I became the woman you see today," Golden Phoenix replied.

A flurry of questions were shot out from the crowd of offscreen reporters for a few moments before quickly silencing as the hero pointed to another reporter.

"Do you plan to go solo in the near future?"

The hero smiled in amusement before responding.

"There aren't any plans for me to be going solo anytime soon. Endeavor's been trying to keep me around due to me being the best sidekick he's ever had."

"That's very true. You did just take down those two villains without Endeavor helping you."

Izuku and Moe saw an angry Endeavor walk into view, grimacing at the camera.

"My sidekick and I have business elsewhere, this interview is done."

Golden Phoenix frowned in disappointment at the Number Two hero.

"Well, the bonfire has spoken! It was nice talking to you!"

Endeavor's face got more angry as the heroine said what she said. He simply grunted in response though as he and Golden Phoenix walked away from the cameras with the reporters shouting questions as they left.

"She's got balls! That's why she's my favorite hero!" Moe roared with laughter.

Izuku nodded, laughing in response.

"I really hope when we get into UA we can intern with her sometime." _

Mrs. Phenex wasn't around when they got to the beach.

"Hmm... I wonder why she isn't here," Izuku commented.

"Might just have to handle stuff with school. The fight was near the school, after all," Moe replied, walking over and lifting a piece of junk from one of the piles. "Let's just get to work on cleaning for a bit. If she shows up, we'll get to training."

"Alright."

Izuku went over to another trash pile and lifted a slab of rusted metal in his arms, turning and walking to the dumpster nearby. They repeated the routine of taking trash from piles and putting it in the dumpster for a couple hours before turning to quirk training and right when they finished that up, Mrs. Phenex showed up looking more tired than usual.

"Hey... Sorry I wasn't there at the beginning. Had some important things to do," Mrs. Phenex said with an exhausted sigh.

"It's alright, Mrs. Phenex. You didn't have to come if you didn't want to," Izuku said politely.

"Well, I wanted to come. Since I couldn't oversee it, would you kindly show me how much you improved today?"

"Sure!"

"Alright!"

The two of them walked with their teacher to the quirk training area. The woman could see new scorch marks on the targets, indicating use.

'Interesting. Some of the pieces look burned away..." Kairi thought to herself before turning back to the two prepared students.

"Alright, Midoriya, you're first."

"Right!" Izuku said before turning to Moe. "Can you give me a light?"

"With pleasure, babe," Moe said with a smirk, shooting a flaming projectile at one of the trash piles.

"Thank you," Izuku said before turning his focus to the flames.

Lowering his arms to the ground, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Opening his eyes, he activated his quirk. The flames pulled off of the trash pile into a floating ball of fire.

'Alright... Now to... Move it!'

Izuku used his quirk and moved it back at a steady pace before releasing it slightly and pushing the flame, causing it to quickly shoot towards the trash pile, hitting it.

Kairi clapped, nodding approvingly.

"Good job! But I saw that flame break apart a bit. Try keeping it in the orb shape next time," Kairi suggested before turning to Moe. "Alright, your turn."

"Okay!" Moe said with a feral smile.

Putting her open hand in front of her while also staring at Kairi, her feral smile remained on her face. Kairi watched as flames shot towards Moe's hand and shifted into a flaming katana, the girl grabbing it after a half a second once it fully formed.

"Pretty good. You're getting better. If I got here earlier, I would have given you something to make it a bit more difficult, but you're off the hook today. Unless you want to stay an extra hour..." Kairi trailed off with a smirk.

"No thank you! We want to have enough energy to walk home," Izuku said, shaking his head rapidly.

Kairi laughed as Moe nodded to Izuku's statement.

"Have it your way. You're only prolonging the inevitable. Now scram. I'm sure your parents will be worried you got home later than usual," Kairi said, gesturing for them to go.

"Right. Have a good evening, Mrs. Phenex!" Izuku said with a smile.

"Yeah, see ya tomorrow!" Moe added.

"Bye," Kairi replied, smiling fondly at the two of them as they left.

Kairi watched them leave with a proud smile. Once they were out of sight, she returned her gaze to the burned target, smiling a bit wider. She nodded before turning and walking as well.

'They learn fast. They'll be learning super moves in no time.'

"Again! I didn't see you move it twice!" Kairi snapped. "Aww, c'mon!" Izuku whined.

Izuku and Kairi were in the trash piles of the beach. It had been a week since the villain attack and Kairi was upping the training once more.

"Nope! You need to learn how to easily maneuver your flaming orb to do more than one simple movement. What if you shoot one of them at a villain and they move out of the way, giving way to civilians like Endeavor did in that fight last week?"

Izuku flinched at Kairi's words.

"Can't find a way to get out of that can you?"

Izuku shook his head, looking down slightly.

"Then keep practicing. You'll get it, I know you can."

Izuku looked back up at his teacher with a determined frown. "I will!"

"Good! Plus Ultra!"

"Plus Ultra!"

"I got it!" Moe shouted.

"Oh? Show me," Kairi ordered.

Moe opened her hand and quickly grabbed the rushing flames of her hair, a sledgehammer of flames forming out of them. Without pulling the flames back, they exploded from the hammer and formed into a medieval looking shield. Pulling her arm back, her flames flowed back to her hand to form a sword as she performed a single downward swing with the blade. Releasing her quirk, the flames flowed back to her hair.

Kairi and Izuku clapped at the display, smiling at her.

"Good job! Now you need to switch up the constructs. Practice with different shield shapes, weapon types, and tool types."

"Got it!"

"Alright, Midoriya. Your turn," Kairi said.

"Right!"

"Knock us on to our asses with your performance, Izu!" Izuku nodded, a smile forming on his face.

"Arms behind your back," Kairi instructed.

"Okay."

Izuku put his arms behind his back, linking his hands together so he couldn't be tempted to move his hands at all. Pulling three strands of flames from Moe's hair, he made them flow into a single orb of flame in front of him. He took a deep, calming breath, keeping his concentration as he willed his quirk to move the flaming orb. He pushed it hard towards a trash pile target. His eyes snapped to the trash pile beside the one he shot his flaming orb at.

Izuku's sphere of flames shot from its initial target to the pile he was looking at, impacting it and coating the pile in flames. Izuku glanced over at Kairi and Moe who were smiling. Kairi clapped.

"Good job! You can move your orb twice. Let's now focus on making multiple orbs and moving them twice. Then we'll work on your ability to control your orbs so that you can fully control them, not just push them around just like you can do using your hands."

Moe pouted.

"Hey! How come he has more things to do?"

Kairi smirked as she glanced back at Moe.

"Because I can think of many possible things he can do already. Yours requires a bit more thought as it's a bit more diverse."

Moe gave Izuku a feral smile. He caught the smile and smirked, rolling his eyes.

'Of course this would be a competition.'

"Well you two, that's it for this evening. Get on home," Kairi said.

"Alright!"

The months went on, their training increasing in difficulty as Kairi saw them improve. The end of

Izuku and Moe's first year came around, and with it, their graduation. To say Moe was hating the day would have been an understatement.

"Ugh... The amount of training we could get done if we weren't stuck here!" Moe groaned. Izuku, who was beside her, placed a hand on her shoulder, gently squeezing it.

"Don't worry, Moe. It'll be over soon. Then we can train and-"

"Oh hell no. Right after this, you'll be trapped on the couch."

Izuku jumped slightly in surprise.

"W-Wha? But what about training?"

Moe gave him a feral grin.

"Not gonna happen. You're going to pay for keeping me from skipping it." Izuku raised an eyebrow, playing along.

"Doesn't sound too bad of a punishment."

"That's the point, lover boy," Moe replied, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him into a fierce kiss.

Izuku melted into the kiss, his arms snaking around her lower back. She hummed into the kiss as he did, pulling back after a moment. She smirked.

"You're getting better at your kisses," she purred.

"It's easy to get better at when your girlfriend does it all the time," Izuku replied smoothly. Moe chuckled.

"Getting better at your smooth talking, too. You might just get my flames burning with your voice alone~"

Izuku blushed.

"U-Uh... Flames... Burning?"

Moe laughed softly.

"Still need to work on your dirty talk. Then you might be able to challenge me," Moe teased, booping his nose.

"Ch-Challenge you? With what?"

Moe hummed in response.

"Never you mind that for now. You'll find out soon enough."

Before they could talk any further, music started playing. Moe sighed in disappointment before looking up at Izuku.

"Well, c'mon lover boy. You forced me to be here so you're gonna have to pull me through this," Moe said.

Izuku chuckled.

"Right, let's go." _

The ceremony went smoothly with no interruptions. Inko was the only one out of the two's families to show up. Moe snorted.

"Figures he'd be too busy to come." Izuku raised an eyebrow. "Disappointed?"

She shook her head in response.

"I know he's trying to make a living to make my life easier. I'm almost at the point where I want to offer to move out to make his life a bit easier."

"Are you sure that's what he would want?" Moe shrugged.

"It's what I would want. I want him to live easier and actually get a full night's rest. If I could do something to help him, I would. Eh, let's just stop this here. It's time to hug Inko so she doesn't flood the auditorium."

Izuku gained momentarily a look of panic on his face, drawing an amused chuckle from Moe. "O-Oh, right!"

Izuku then turned and speed walked towards the trembling and tearing up Inko. Moe watched him

as he hugged her, both of them crying in each other's arms. She smiled fondly.

"Ever the crybaby," Moe mumbled to herself, taking another moment to watch before finally moving over to join the hug.

"Alright, guys! What should we do?" Kosei asked as he stood outside the building with his circle of friends.

"I think I'm gonna sleep," Juzo said with a nod. "What?!"

"Izu and I are gonna be relaxing on his couch as punishment for making me come here and not skipping this."

"Huh?!"

"Yep, what Moe said."

"Guys! C'mon! We just became free for a month and the first thing you want to do is rest?!" "Yep."

"Pretty much."

"Fuck yeah."

Kosei's shoulders sagged at his friends' responses.

"You guys are all so boring!"

"And you're trying to celebrate summer vacation too early. We have time," Juzo replied in a lazy tone.

"No we don't! We gotta take advantage of this!"

Moe laughed.

"We'll take advantage of it by training!"

"What!? No! That's work! This is vacation ! You can't work on a vacation!" "The hell we can't! We-"

"Moe..." Izuku sighed. "We can't just train."

Moe pouted.

"But Izuuuu..."

"I know, I know, we don't just train. But I think I have to partially agree with Kosei. We can't just relax on the couch every day after training."

Kosei grinned.

"Someone agreed with me!" "Partially..." Juzo added.

"Shut up! Let me have this!" Juzo chuckled in response. Moe sighed.

"Fine..."

"Thank you, Moe," Izuku said with a soft smile.

"Yeah, yeah..." Moe sighed again before looking at the other two, a grin replacing her previous expression.

"I'm gonna be taking my leave with Izu. Don't die on your way back home."

With that, Moe grabbed Izuku's arm and tugged him along.

"Wha-Hey!"

Kosei stood with Juzo as Izuku was pulled away by Moe. His shoulders sagged more. "Jeez, I don't know if I should feel bad for Midoriya or hate him for how lucky he is." Juzo hummed for a moment.

"Neither. And just be thankful you don't have the wrath of Moe coming down on you for that comment," Juzo replied.

Kosei nodded.

"Yeah, fair enough."

"I'm gonna head home. Talk to you later."

Juzo waved before turning and walking away, leaving Kosei where he was. Kosei sighed. "All of you are so boring..." He said with a smile on his face.

Kosei finally turned around and walked away.

"I think I'm gonna play some games when I get home..." _

When Izuku arrived home, he was immediately pulled into a kiss. He returned the kiss with passion, wrapping his arms around her back and softly trailed them up and down her back. Her arms snaked around his neck as she deepened the kiss for a moment. She pulled back after a few moments of holding the kiss, giving him a soft smile. Her smile turned slightly mischievous after a moment of looking into his eyes.

"Ready for your punishment?"

Izuku returned the smile.

"Cuddling on the couch is hardly a punishment, Moe. But of course I am." Moe hummed.

"Good. Because once we sit down, you're not getting up until dinner time. And would you look at that, Inko's still out."

Izuku chuckled softly.

"Oh no. Whatever will I do?"

Moe smirked before releasing him from her embrace. Izuku followed suit and she took his hand, squeezing it once before pulling him along. Izuku let himself get pulled over to the couch with a soft smile on his face.

'I love Moe... I really, really do.'

"C'mon, Izu, get down here."

Izuku was pulled from his thoughts when he saw Moe laying on the couch, looking up at him expectantly. He chuckled, drawing a blush from his girlfriend.

"J-Just shut up and get down here!" Moe pouted.

"Alright, alright." Izuku took a calming breath, letting a couple more chuckles through before quieting down.

Moe adjusted herself to allow Izuku to get into the couch before wrapping her arms around him. Izuku let out a yelp of surprise as Moe lifted him so that he was fully laying on the couch before chuckling as she crawled onto Izuku and got comfortable laying on top of him.

"Happy now?"

Moe kissed his nose.

"Yep! Now you can't move anywhere." Izuku smiled.

"I wouldn't have moved anyways," Izuku said as he wrapped his arms around her back.

Moe hummed, a smirk forming on her face.

"I don't believe you."

Izuku shook his head fondly before pressing a soft kiss onto her lips. Moe hummed once more, a more enjoying, softer hum.

"I believe you a little bit now."

He smirked.

"Enough talking. Cuddling now." "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Izuku and Moe descended into silence, both sighing in satisfaction as they enjoyed the embrace of one another. Izuku slowly felt his consciousness drifting off eventually and, by the sounds of Moe's calm breathing and peacefully flickering hair, she was already asleep. He smiled softly before he finally succumbed, falling asleep in the arms of his fiery lover.

Moe retracted her arm from the clock, returning it to the warmth of the blankets and of the person underneath. She nuzzled her head into their chest, drawing a soft hum from them.

"Moe... It's time to get up..." "Why..."

"You know why," Izuku's right hand ran through the flames of her hair, enjoying the warmth it made him feel. "We can't be late on our first day of our third year."

"Why not... It's not like it's our last year..." "Moe..."

She groaned.

"Fine..."

"Thank you."

"You're so carrying me to school for this," she grumbled.

Izuku chuckled.

"What a terrible punishment. It'll just help me practice for that day."

A light punch drew out more laughter from Izuku.

"I really regret boosting your confidence... I loved it when you were able to be flustered at the drop of a hat..."

"Well now you have to live with it." Izuku grinned.

She let out an exaggerated groan, pressing herself into Izuku a bit more and drawing more laughter from Izuku once again.

"So, are you going to visit your dad today?"

Izuku and Moe were 'walking' together along the sidewalk in their uniforms, bags over their shoulders. Moe walking, in reality, was her being carried bridal style by Izuku.

"Probably. And you'll be coming with." "Oh?"

"Yep. Gonna finally fully introduce you. That day when you came over to help me with my things didn't count."

"I did talk to him a bit."

"Didn't count!" she repeated with a grin.

Izuku let out a sigh of mock exasperation.

"You just want to spend more time with me while also spending time with your dad." Moe grinned.

"Maybe."

He shook his head.

"You're unbelievable."

"I know! But you love me anyway!" _

RIIIIIINNNNGGGGG!

"Okay, everyone you're dismissed. Head back to the locker rooms and get changed!"

Izuku and Moe were standing with Juzo and Kosei near the center of the gym, their gazes drawn to their gym teacher as he got their attention. A moment later, they started moving, heading to their respective locker rooms.

Izuku reached his locker first, with Kosei next and Juzo third. "Ugh... I hate this class..." Kosei whined.

"You hate every class." Juzo stared flatly at his friend.

"He probably hates this one the most because he's so out of shape." Izuku smirked. "That's true." Juzo's eyes crinkled slightly.

"Hey! Stop attacking me like that!"

"Hey, if you want to keep at it like that, it's your decision." Juzo shrugged.

"Yeah, just know that you'll have a harder time at UA's entrance exam next year."

Kosei grimaced, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Your good points are ones I always hate."

Izuku closed his locker after buttoning up his gakuen top, glancing over at his friend again. "Well, just know we'd be happy to help if you want us to knock you back into shape."

" We , huh? Something tells me you'll tell Moe at the last minute just to make sure she has to agree to it." Juzo raised an eyebrow, his head tilting ever so slightly.

Izuku smiled sheepishly.

"N-not really... That worked last time though, right?" Juzo chuckled.

"Yeah, it did. But you two were late to school the following day. I'm sure you paid for doing that." Juzo's eyebrows raised and lowered.

"W-well... Uh... " Izuku looked away. "No comment..."

"Jeez, you sure set the bar high for relationships there, Izuku..." Kosei groaned.

"I bet he was frozen through most of it, though."

"Hey!" Izuku shouted, drawing laughter from his two friends as he frowned at them with a blush.

"Yeah, that's fine. I'll just see you two tomorrow. You better be ready to practice your super moves again," Kairi's voice came through Izuku's phone, put on speaker.

"Dammit..." Moe groaned as Izuku sighed with her.

"Do I hear super moves and combo moves?"

"No, ma'am!" Both of them said at once.

"Mhm... That's what I thought. Have a good day, lord knows I won't."

"Oh? Why's that?" Izuku frowned while Moe tilted her head with a raised eyebrow. "Dealing with an annoying mess of a man. I swear, one of these days I'm gonna deck him." Moe grinned while Izuku smiled sheepishly.

"Don't do that. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for it."

Kairi sighed.

"Fine, I won't. Be safe, alright? I'll talk to you tomorrow morning."

"Bye, Miss Phenex."

The phone line disconnected and Izuku put his phone away. Hooking their arms around each other, they resumed their walk. They soon reached their destination: A single story white house with a red roof and a recently cut front lawn.

"He should be home now. If not, I have the spare key."

Izuku nodded, following Moe's lead as she approached the door. Knocking on the door, they waited a moment before getting a response.

"I'll be right there."

Footsteps came closer to the door before it opened, revealing a tall man with dark bags under his eyes. He had fiery orange shaggy hair hanging down his head at around ear-length with a goatee of the same color. His golden yellow eyes lazily looked over the two of them before they brightened as a smile came to his face.

"Moe, Izuku, it's good to see you two again."

Moe chuckled.

"Jeez, Dad. You act like it's been months since we've seen each other." Moe smirked. The man scratched the back of his head with a sheepish smile forming.

"Well, I can't help it. I always miss you when you're gone."

Moe's smirk turned to a small smile, looking down.

"I know... Can we come in?"

Moe's father jumped slightly.

"Oh, right! Sorry! Ehehe... Come in." His sheepish smile remained on his face as he stepped aside. _

"I've been saving more money lately. You should be able to move back in soon."

Izuku was standing, looking at the pictures on a nearby shelf as Moe and her father sat opposite each other on the couch. None of the pictures included Moe's mother, only her and her father. Each picture was filled with smiles, especially the ones where she was younger. The adorable smile on baby Moe's face as she and her father smiled for the camera was priceless and it made Izuku's heart warm at the sight of it.

"You know I won't, Dad..." Moe sighed.

"I know, I know..."

"Sorry... I miss you too. But I care about your wellbeing more than me being with you." A weak chuckle escaped her father's lips as Izuku went to sit next to his girlfriend.

"You're a very caring girl, Moe. I'm proud of you, and I'm sure you'll be proud of me for my new sleep schedule. I should be a lot more energetic in the coming weeks." Moe's father smiled softly at her.

Moe chuckled at her father, nodding.

"That's good."

He cleared his throat, his smile turning to a light smirk as he straightened himself up a bit. He gazed at Izuku, quickly opening his mouth to speak.

"So, Izuku. We didn't have time to talk last time. You're the one dating my Moe, eh?" Izuku nodded.

"I am, sir. She helped me through a whole lot, from personal problems to quirk-related ones. I love her more than anything, and I hope you can accept that, and please know that even if you don't, I won't stop loving her." He bowed from his sitting position.

Silence loomed over the room, with the sound of Moe's gently flickering hair being the only thing breaking it. After several moments, light laughter filled the room. Looking up, Izuku saw Moe's father leaning back, his eyes closed and mouth open. When he finally calmed down, he gazed upon Izuku with an amused smile, his tired eyes crinkling ever so slightly.

"I'm not even close to disapproving of you. Moe would never have told you this, but any time I asked her about how her day went, her first subject would always be you."

"Dad..." Moe pouted.

"Sorry, my little candlestick. He has to know." He grinned. 'Candlestick?' Izuku snorted lightly.

"I'm happy you're in her life. To be perfectly honest, I'm glad she's staying with you instead of someone else while I get myself back into a reasonable routine. Just don't make yourselves parents just yet. You two are wanting to be heroes, aren't you?"

The two of them blushed.

"D-Dad!"

"M-Mr. Kamiji!"

Izuku and Moe stood outside the house with her father, the sky turning orange as the day transitioned to night.

"Well, I look forward to seeing you again. Don't be a stranger either, Izuku. Now that we're properly introduced, I think you should be coming over with Moe now."

"If you will have me." Izuku nodded, a smile on his face.

Moe hugged her father.

"I'll see you later, Dad. Make sure you go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight."

Moe's father chuckled.

"Don't worry. After you two leave, I think I'm gonna have dinner then immediately go to sleep."

"Good idea." Moe nodded.

The two held their hug for a few moments longer before pulling back. Moe hooked her arm around Izuku's neck.

"Sleep well, Dad."

"You two head home safely."

"We will!"

With one last wave goodbye, the duo walked away, leaving Moe's father, who went back inside a few moments after they left.

"So, do you know if anything is happening tonight?"

"Hmm? Oh, uh... I think there's the hero popularity poll predictions going on... Then there's a hero documentary for Hawks-"

"The guy who's now Japan's youngest top ten pro hero?"

"Yeah, him. Anyways, after that, there's that movie you wanted us to watch. And I think that's it."

Moe chuckled.

"You have such a photographic memory for stuff like this."

"Well, duh. You should know this Moe." He smirked as he glanced over at her.

"You're right I do. And it's still dorky to this day."

She leaned in and kissed his cheek, sticking her tongue out as she pulled back. He chuckled, shaking his head.

"You love my dorkiness, admit it."

"Nope! I'll never admit it!" Moe bumped his hip with hers.

He chuckled, returning her bump with one of his own.

"I guess someone doesn't want my spicy curry recipe tonight." "Noooo! You can't-"

BOOM!

Both of them froze at the sudden sound and rumble of the ground around them. Sharing a glance and nodding, they both ran off as more explosions went off. They sprinted down the sidewalk and turned the corner into another street, immediately spotting an alleyway flocked with reporters and curious civilians being held back by heroes.

They ran straight to it, pushing past civilians and reporters as they went to the front of the crowd, intent on seeing what was causing the commotion. It was then that they spotted it: a large blob of sludge holding a boy captive, flames surrounding the sludge throughout the alleyway.

Upon closer inspection, both of them recognized a head of blonde hair and explosions erupting from the boy's palms as he struggled to get free.

'Oh, it's just Bakugo,' Moe thought dismissively.

She glanced over at Izuku, who's frown concerned her. After a moment, she let out a groan.

'...And he wants to save him. Dammit. This is the only nice thing we're doing for you, Firecracker.'

Izuku finally glanced over at her, his frown remaining as he locked eyes with Moe. "Moe..."

She sighed.

"Yeah..."

They both turned to look at the scene unfolding in front of them.

"We gotta help him." Chapter End Notes

I will be doing something different for updating next month. Instead of a regular schedule, I'll be having what I call "Fic Focus Month" where I write one fic only that month. The specific fic will be decided by vote and the winner will be decided by the end of this month. IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT WHICH FIC GETS UPDATED, YOU MUST VOTE! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! If you are angry about the outcome and you didn't vote, that's your fault.

Without further ado, here's the link. The poll will be ending on the 29th of June, United States Pacific Time to give me time to write the first chapter. https/www.strawpoll.me/20304664

"So how do you want to do this?"

"I'll take all the flames around the area while you form a fire whip and fend off any sludge heading towards me. Then, I'll open up a hole in the villain and pull Bakugo out."

"And I'll be keeping the sludge off you while you do?"

"Yeah. Do you think you can do that?"

Moe gave him a feral grin in response.

"You kidding? That sludge won't have any time to attack you!" Izuku smiled softly, nodding once.

"Thanks for helping me. I know-"

Moe covered his mouth, her grin turning to a small smirk.

"I'll grill you for it later. Let's just get Blasty out of there and get home." Izuku smiled as she removed her hand.

"Thanks, Moe."

"Yeah, yeah, thank me with a kiss and massage when we get home."

Izuku's smile turned to a grin.

"Alright... Candlestick."

Izuku jumped the barriers and sprinted in first, a flustered Moe on his tail.

"Hey! Don't call me that!"

"Hey! Don't go in there!" Kamui Woods, a hero who was standing between the barriers and the alleyway, shouted at Moe and Izuku.

"Fuck off, Woody!" Moe snapped back.

"Eh? Two kids?" the sludge man laughed. "What are you two going to do to-AGH!"

Moe yanked her flaming whip back, her feral grin present on her face.

"Sorry to interrupt your monologue, sewer drain! You can keep talking if you want," Moe snarked. "You bitch! That hurt! You'll pay for that!"

The large mound of sludge launched multiple large tendrils at Moe. She reared her flaming whip back, her grin remaining on her face. Before she could whip any tendrils, multiple balls of flame flew into the paths of the tendrils, perfectly matching each size and immediately evaporating the liquid of the sludge.

"AAAHHHHH!!!" The sludge villain withdrew his smoking tendrils, gritting his teeth in pain.

The sludge villain glared furiously at Izuku as he retracted the flames into the large ball of orange fire. Once all of them retracted, the flame shrunk into a blue ball of flame the size of a basketball. He glanced at Moe, who nodded. He smirked before focusing on the sludge and rushing it.

"I'll kill you!" the villain roared.

As the villain let loose rage filled attacks with his tendrils, Moe sprung to action.

"Not if I can help it!"

Izuku put both hands to the blue ball of flames, clapping it and spreading his hands wide, expanding the flames.

"Phoenix Cloth!"

Izuku's flames spread out, creating what appeared to be a cloth of flame in front of him as he kept rushing towards the main body of the villain. The villain, realizing Izuku's plans, threw tendrils out and brought them around the cloth towards his back.

"No you don't!" Moe whipped the tendrils snaking around the flaming cloth, resulting in pained yells from the villain.

Izuku finally reached the main body, compressing his flames into one single orb once more. He closed the fist under his flames before opening it again, splitting the flames into multiple smaller pieces. As Moe kept the villain occupied, Izuku drew his hand back before pushing it forward, the flames moving into the body of the sludge villain and burning a human shaped hole into him. The villain let his pain be known with a loud yell.

Izuku reached forward and grabbed Bakugo's shirt as his body was revealed.

"I'll kill you for that you fucking bastard!"

Izuku watched as the sludge closed up where Bakugo once was. Thinking quickly, he shoved Bakugo's unconscious body away. Taking a gasp of air was the last action he could do before getting swallowed up by the villain.

Moe's eyes widened in shock. "Izuku!"

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That was ballzy, but in the end you're just a weak, stupid kid! I'll enjoy suffocating you!"

'Gotta... Keep... My concentration...' Izuku thought as he fought to keep the sludge from entering his body.

Before she did anything else, she spotted the flames that he was controlling moving around the villain unseen. Looking back, she could barely see Izuku squirming around in the sludge.

"Just give up! You can't get out of this!"

Moe, instead of feeling worried, found herself smiling again. The sludge villain looked up to see her as she started laughing.

"What are you laughing at?! Does the death of your friend amuse you?!"

"Oh you don't get it at all, do you?" Moe gave the villain a feral grin. "You just lost!" "Wha-AGH!"

Right as the villain had reacted, dozens of small orbs of flames burned into his sludgy body and met up with Izuku before combining into a large flame that shot out the front, Izuku stumbling out and taking a large gasp of air.

Izuku grabbed Bakugo and sprinted to Moe, chased by the tendrils of the enraged sludge villain. As he got to Moe's side, a wave of flames impacted the ground and rose up into a wall of fire, blocking the tendrils.

Izuku and Moe looked up to see the golden-armored woman that was their idol, Golden Phoenix.

She was standing on the rooftop with a concentrated expression, waving her arms in a circular motion. Looking back at the wall of flames, they quickly surrounded the sludge villain, trapping him in a round, burning cage.

"Dammit! Dammit! Damn all of you!" the sludge villain roared as he tried attacking the flames and getting burnt every time.

"Come quietly or I'll have to take you in by force!" Golden Phoenix shouted. "Like hell I'll come quietly!"

Using his sludgy form, he attempted to slip between the flames. He was quickly dissuaded from doing that again as he was burned once more.

"Force it is! Don't say I didn't warn you!" _

Izuku and Moe watched as the sludge villain was carried away in a glass container with a locked lid, the two of them sitting on the back bumper of the ambulance that was there. Glancing over, she watched as Golden Phoenix was yelling at the heroes with a fierce glare in her eyes.

"-and leave it to the people who could have handled the situation! The only one who actually did his job in this whole thing was Backdraft! You three should be ashamed of yourselves! Because of your carelessness and desire for popularity, two kids had to do the job you three couldn't! I should just get the hero commission to revoke your licenses and hand licenses to those two! They're certainly more heroes than the three of you!"

Moe and Izuku looked at each other, small blushes and smiles on their faces. "She thinks we're heroes?" Izuku asked.

"She thinks we're heroes!" Moe hugged Izuku tight, kissing his lips excitedly.

Pulling back the two of them grinned at each other, before Moe's grin turned to a teasing smirk. "Jeez, you stink! No more kisses for you until you shower!"

"Hey!" Izuku whined.

"What about them getting punished? They're getting a pat on the back for what they did, laws be damned. Now, I suggest you try and salvage what's left of your following while I congratulate those two," Golden Phoenix spat dismissively.

Izuku and Moe turned their focus back to Golden Phoenix as she approached them. Both of them felt their heart rates increase and excitement fill their bodies as she walked up to them. She fixed the two of them with a small smile, keeping her emotions reserved.

'I'm so proud of them! Holy shit, I just want to hug them both for that! Relax Kairi, relax. Congratulate them as yourself, not as Phoenix. Gotta keep calm for now.'

"I should be scolding you two for unlawful quirk usage... But I think we all know that it's stupid in a situation like this. You two were right for jumping in like you did. If you didn't, that boy wouldn't be alive. So good job, you two. And thanks for stepping in."

Izuku and Moe gave her beaming smiles that made her laugh softly.

"Now, I suppose your parents might be rather worried about what just happened if they saw what happened on the television."

Izuku's eyes widened. "Oh... Oh no..." Moe chuckled.

"Mama Inko's not gonna be happy about this..." Moe commented with a grin.

"I suppose I should let you two go, then. There's one more thing I want to tell you, though." The two of them focused on Golden Phoenix again.

"With what you did? You're already well on your way to becoming two of the best heroes Japan has ever seen. I want you two to keep up your good work. And I better see you at UA's Sports Festival."

With that, the heroine gave them a final smile before walking away, leaving the two of them. "C'mon, Izu. Let's face the music."

Izuku sighed, turning with his girlfriend and walking away from the scene. Midway to his house, he paused in his walk, his eyes gaping. Moe stopped in front of him.

"What is it?"

Izuku clutched his head with both hands, falling to his knees.

"Izu what is it?" Moe questioned, a worried frown passing over her face. "I FORGOT TO ASK FOR HER AUTOGRAPH!!!"

Silence passed for a moment before her eyes widened as well.

"FUCK! IT WAS OUR CHANCE!" _

They eventually made it back to the Midoriya household. Upon arrival, they were both yanked into a sobbing hug.

"THANK GOODNESS YOU TWO ARE SAFE!" Inko wailed. "I WAS SO WORRIED! AND WHEN IZUKU GOT SUCKED IN, I NEARLY FAINTED!"

"M-Mom! You're crushing us!" Izuku groaned.

"Y-yeah, Inko!"

They were released and allowed to take a deep breath of air.

"I'm so sorry! I'm just so worried...!" Inko wiped the tears from her eyes.

"It's okay, Mom... I know you were worried... But I'm alright. Honest." Izuku pulled his mother into a hug as she sniffled.

"You stink..." Inko said between sniffles. Izuku and Moe chuckled to each other.

"I guess I should go take a shower then." "Okay..." Inko muttered.

"Don't worry, Inko! I'll keep you company!" "Thank you, sweetie."

Mmmmmhhh..." Moe moaned. "Yeah... Like that..." "And here too, right?"

"Oh... Fuck... Yes! Keep going!"

Izuku was sitting on Moe's legs, leaning over her back and pressing his hands into different points in her back.

"Ohhhhhh... You got-nnngh! Magic... Hhhhhhaaaannnndddsssss..."

Izuku smiled at his girlfriend, pressing down on a knot in her back and drawing an even deeper moan.

"I'm glad it's working."

"It's... Mmmmmm... More than-hah... Working..."

Izuku nodded.

"That's good."

Moe let out a string of moan-filled giggles.

"You're... Soooooo... Never getting out of-hnnnng! Bed... Toniiiiiiiggghhhhhtttt..." Izuku chuckled softly.

"Oh yeah? You sure? Because you might not be able to get off the couch after I'm done with you. I might just let you sleep here."

"You fucking better... NOT!" Moe squeaked.

"Too hard?"

"Yes!"

"Sorry," Izuku apologized with a small smile as he resumed massaging his girlfriend. "Thirty more minutes of... mmmmmhhhh... Massaging..."

"Alright... Candlestick." Izuku grinned teasingly.

"Shut-uuuuuhhhhhhh!"

"I'm sorry, what were you saying?"

"You know wha-MMMHHH!"

Izuku and Moe stood in the trash-filled training area of Dagobah beach, looking around. "Are we early?" Izuku asked

"I don't know. Maybe she's late?" Moe shrugged.

"You two!"

Izuku and Moe spun around before getting tackled to the ground by Kairi.

"M-Miss Phenex?" Izuku asked, shocked.

"You two were so damn awesome yesterday!"

"You saw that?!" Moe asked with a grin.

"You bet I did! I'm so proud of both of you! For that, today's going to be an easy day and we're going somewhere for lunch. My treat."

"Fuck yeah!"

"Great!"

"Then tomorrow, we're going to train harder."

Izuku and Moe gained a horrified expression.

"NOOOOOOO!"

"It won't be that bad!" Chapter End Notes

Thump! Thump!

"I already hate this..." Moe groaned, her head resting on Izuku's quickly rising and falling chest. "Me too..." Izuku breathed, sucking in as much air as possible.

"Oh c'mon! It's only been two hours!" Kairi said with a grin. "No breaks yet!"

"We can't not take a break!"

"I already have a headache... I feel this is punishment for getting into that fight with the villain..." "I know..."

Kairi merely laughed. As she calmed down, a noise caught her ear, causing her smile to drop for a moment. Shaking her head, her grin returned.

"Alright, fine, I'll let you rest. I'm going to my car to get some more water," she said. "Okayyyy..." the two of them muttered, not bothering to move from their spots.

After smiling fondly at the two of them for a moment, she turned away, walking away from the clearing. Her smile melted away to narrowed eyes and a slight frown, her eyes trailing around her surroundings as she walked through the piles of trash.

Keeping her footsteps silent, which was easy in the sand, she slowly combed the entirety of the trash piles. It didn't take long to find someone who didn't belong. He was a blond haired man that had the body structure of a skeleton, and he was doing his best to keep himself concealed as he

watched her students laying in the sand.

"Ahem," Kairi cleared her throat, startling the man and making him stumble away from his cover.

"U-uh... He-hello! I wasn't sure anyone was-"

"Who are you, and why are you watching those two?" Kairi questioned, a dangerous edge to her voice.

Behind her, a small flame slowly grew near the middle of her back and a foot back from her body. "W-watching them? I have no-"

"You aren't fooling me, now I ask again: Who are you and why are you watching those two? And you best tell the truth, or on my authority as Golden Phoenix, I will arrest you for stalking two minors."

To emphasize her point, she brought the flame she had built up to her side, the orange flame now the size of a notebook floating beside her.

"Th-that won't be necessary! My name is Toshinori Yagi and I'm a part of the All Might agency. I- uh... Didn't know you were Golden Phoenix..."

"That's the point of a disguise. Now, why are you watching those two?"

The flame drifted slowly closer to the blonde man, who she now noticed was wearing clothes many sizes too large for him. He held his open palms towards Kairi.

"I'm just-I'm just here to search for them! All Might was impressed with their bravery and wished to offer them training!"

Kairi's right eyebrow raised from her frown as she remained quiet, staring at the man. After a few moments, she frowned once more.

"Too bad. If you really are from All Might's agency, which I doubt with your appearance, you best go back there and say they're not available."

"What?"

"You heard me. I'm not letting All Might train these two. If you try and convince me otherwise, I will send a formal complaint. Do you understand?" Kairi asked, her voice eerily calm as the flame swayed left and right in the air.

"C-crystal clear," Toshinori said with a nod, stepping back. "I'm sorry for bothering you."

The man stayed still a moment before he turned and walked away. She kept her flame ignited for a few moments longer before dissipating it and sighing.

"Let's hope that it was just him that wants these two..." _ RIIIIINNNNNGGGG!

"Oh, thank god..."

Izuku laughed with Juzo as Kosei collapsed onto his back, panting heavily as he desperately sucked in air.

"You won't be much of a hero with that endurance, Kosei," Izuku commented as he and Juzo crouched down, grabbing his arms.

"Not at all," Juzo agreed, lifting with Izuku. "You two... Are asses..."

"Well, we try," Juzo replied with slightly crinkled eyes.

"And once again Moe's beaten us to the lockers."

"Of course. She doesn't have to pick up this lazy sack of potatoes," Juzo said with a single laugh.

"Shut up!"

Izuku walked through the halls with his small circle of friends, holding his girlfriend's hand as he talked with Juzo.

"I still can't believe you did that. I thought you were smarter than that," Juzo commented with a chuckle.

Izuku chuckled with a sheepish smile.

"I just moved without thinking. I just had to save the person in trouble." He scratched the back of his head.

"Even though that guy was a total asshole to you," Moe snapped with a grimace. "Asshole? To Midoriya?" Kosei asked in disbelief.

Izuku glanced around at the other students staring at him and Moe before returning his gaze to his friend.

"Yeah?" Izuku gave a half smile.

"You think he was always this confident? I had to build him up to what he's like today!" Moe stated, grinning in a mixture of her usual feral smile and pride.

"So we have you to thank for making him such an ass," Kosei commented.

"He's not an ass, he's just right," Juzo teased.

"Shut up!"

"Yes you do. You can thank me now," Moe's grin turned feral once more as she placed her free hand on her hip.

Izuku chuckled, leaning in and kissing his girlfriend's cheek. "Thank you, Moe."

"Mhm, you better be thankful," Moe growled quietly, pulling him into a passionate liplock that made both of them out of breath.

"Jeez, wait 'til after you two get home to suck each other's souls out," Kosei whined.

"You're just jealous you can't get some from your own non-existent girlfriend," Moe snarked. "And you never will if you don't stop being lazy."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, work out, get buff, get a girl, yadda yadda..." Kosei waved his hand dismissively. "Too much work..."

"Then the only things you'll get will be from hookers... STDs included," Juzo commented, drawing howling laughter from Moe and chuckles from Izuku.

"When did I get such assholes for friends..." Kosei sighed.

"You love us, don't lie!"

"Alright, you two. It's time for an important test."

Moe and Izuku frowned slightly from their seats on the sand, water bottles in their hands and the caps in their others.

"Important test?" Izuku asked.

"Yes. A very important test. I want you two... To fight each other, quirks only." Both of them grew wide-eyed gazes at Kairi.

"Quirks only?"

"Fight each other?" Moe grinned.

"Yes. Both of you have fire resistance to a certain level. That's why I said quirks only. So long as you keep it to a certain temperature, neither of you will get hurt. This is a new way to test your developments of your quirk. You're both wearing fire-retardant clothes, right?"

"Yep!"

"I am," Izuku said with a nod.

"Good. Now, Moe, give Izuku a fire source."

"Aww, I can't just start using my flame weapons on him?"

"No you can't. While I would think that would be a good way to get used to life as a hero - not every villain wants to play fair against them - I want this to be a fair fight to properly gauge your handling over your own quirks. Maybe another time we can test how both of you react to a more realistic battle."

"Fiiiinnneee..." Moe sighed.

Izuku chuckled.

"Would a date if you win this sweeten the deal for you?"

A large flame streaked past him instantly, igniting a nearby trash pile. Glancing from the pile to his girlfriend, he saw a wide grin on her face.

"Get ready to take me to a spicy food place, Izuku! Because I'm gonna win this fair and square!"

Izuku chuckled before pulling the flame into each of his hands, two orbs of green floating in his hands.

"Ready?"

Izuku and Moe lowered their stances slightly, with Izuku putting his arms behind his back and Moe forming a flaming whip in her right hand. Her boyfriend grinned.

"Fight!"

Moe flicked the whip forward, pushing more flame into the whip and making it easily reach Izuku from his spot across the training area. An orb moved in front and expanded into a wall of fire, absorbing the flames that touched it.

"Thanks for the extra fire, Moe!"

"I had to make it even somehow!" Moe snarked back. Izuku chuckled.

"Well, thank you for making it so I can win," Izuku replied, splitting the large flaming green orb into several smaller ones and shooting them forward.

Moe formed a flaming shield with her free hand, blocking the frontward assault. Contrary to what happened with Izuku, the flaming orbs collided with the shield and seemingly recoiled backwards. Frowning slightly, Izuku moved them around the shield and struck at multiple angles. Sometimes Moe blocked the orbs, while in other cases, she was sent forward or backwards from the hits, depending on the angles of attack.

Moe grinned as she kept taking the hits. Finally, she saw her opening. As Izuku sent his other, more expanded orb at her, splitting it apart in several orbs like the others, she quickly formed and threw a flaming knife at him.

Izuku jumped, freezing momentarily before reaching his arm forward and tugging all the flames back at him. He was too late, though, as the knife hit him and sent him stumbling backwards.

"HAH! Take that!" Moe cackled.

All at once, all of Izuku's fire impacted Moe's front, knocking her on her butt. As the flames returned to Izuku's side, he allowed himself to laugh.

"Sorry, take what, my dear?" Izuku quipped, smirking at his girlfriend.

Moe grumbled, standing up and dusting herself off. Right as she was about to form another flaming tool, Kairi intervened.

"Stop!"

Both froze, glancing at their teacher. She had an amused smile on her face.

"C'mon! I was just getting started!" Moe whined.

"Yeah, that was just a single exchange," Izuku commented with a frown.

"I know. I paused it because, other than your slow actions, it was a pretty good exchange. But there was a problem."

"What is it?"

"You two need to be more aggressive with each other. I can tell you two are reading each other extremely well, which is why you have slower movements now than you did compared to that Sludge Villain incident, but that doesn't excuse that you need to be a lot more aggressive. I know for a fact that you might have to fight each other as a part of a training exercise at UA. With your movements, you would run out of time before a victor would be decided."

The couple glanced at each other before returning their gazes to Kairi. After a moment, Kairi grinned.

"Regardless of this, I know you're ready for the UA entrance exam. Your fighting that villain showed me that. But you two need to get used to fighting each other at that same pace. You understand?"

"Yes, ma'am." Izuku nodded. "Yep." Moe nodded.

"Good. Now... We have the rest of the year before your entrance exams. What do you say we get you even more powerful, to the point you demolish the exams?"

Moe and Izuku grinned, not even having to think of an answer.

"Let's do it!" Chapter End Notes

I'm running out of pre-UA ideas. So next chapter will be the entrance exam. I hope you all are excited for that!

The front gates of UA were bustling with activity, as applicants from all over Japan were entering the campus with excited smiles and vibrating bodies. It was there that four people stood out from the rest. Moe, Izuku, Juzo, and Kosei were all standing in front of the gate, looking inside with stoic faces.

'We'll kill this exam!'

'We can do this.'

'I can finally enter UA and have a chance with girls!'

'I've come so far. I must succeed.'

Taking deep breaths and keeping their stoic expressions they stepped forward. The moment Izuku felt himself tip forward, his eyes widened.

'We can't do this!'

Suddenly, his shirt tightened, knocking some of the breath out of him. "Oof!" Izuku let out.

"You klutz," Moe teased as she yanked him back to his feet.

Izuku smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry, I guess I wasn't watching where I was going."

"We don't need that kinda bad luck, Midoriya!" Kosei whined.

"I don't think him falling would have given us bad luck for the exam," Juzu commented with a chuckle.

"Well, the moment's ruined now. Let's just go."

"Okay."

"Stop writing! Time is up! Bring your papers to the front for them to be graded if you haven't already!"

Accompanying the woman's decree, a snap of a whip rang through the auditorium. The source of the whip was a woman wearing what looked to be a dominatrix-themed hero costume. A dangerous glint was in her eyes as she watched the applicants move.

"I just finished..." Kosei sighed as he sat back in his chair.

"Well, if Kosei could finish, I'm sure everyone did," Juzo commented. Izuku and Moe chuckled.

"Hurry up and submit the paper before they don't count it," Izuku said. "Oh right!" Kosei shouted, stumbling out of his chair. _

"Dammit! Why can't we go to the same field!" Moe complained.

Her arm was around Izuku's neck as she and him walked to the busses outside with their friends.

"I think it's pretty smart," Juzo commented. "It prevents us from trying to work together to rack up points."

"I don't give a shit if it's smart or not! I wanted to be with Izuku for the practical!" Moe snapped with a dissatisfied frown.

Izuku smiled softly.

"We'll just have to make up for lost time, then. Your choice on what we do this time."

Moe's feral grin returned as she hugged his neck tighter.

"You're the best! And because of that..." She pulled Izuku into a soul-searing kiss, leaving the two of them breathless and blushing as they pulled back.

Meanwhile, as the couple shared the kiss, Juzo and Kosei glanced at each other and shook their heads, a smirk and crinkled eyes exchanged between the two of them before they left for their busses.

Moe took one of Izuku's hands and moved it to her head. She let out a quiet, content sigh as she felt his hands rake through the flames of her hair.

"You get to take some of my flames with you. Don't try to lose it in there." Izuku smiled, leaning in and kissing her cheek.

"Thanks, Moe. I'll be sure to use it wisely," he said before pulling his hand back, taking with him a hand-sized green orb of flame.

The flame compressed in his hand, turning blue as he closed his hand around it and placed his hand in his pocket.

"You better. I don't want you losing it after firing it at a one-pointer." Izuku chuckled.

"You know me better than that."

"No I don't think I do," she joked, flicking his nose lightly.

"You'll pay for that," Izuku shot back with a smirk.

"I look forward to when you do. Now, get going before the bus drives away without you." "Alright, alright. One more for the road?"

Moe rolled her eyes, pulling him in for a shorter, more chaste kiss.

"I love you."

"I love you too, now go!"

"Alright!"

SKREEEEEEEETTT! Tsssss!

Izuku stood up from his seat as he heard the hiss of his bus' door opening. Thankfully for him, he missed the chaos of the other students standing up and moving out into the aisle. He was at the stairs before anyone else, descending the stairs and approaching the gate to the examination field.

Looking up over the wall that separated him from the training field, he could see the tops of large buildings and a couple large skyscrapers.

"It looks like a city-like field..." Izuku muttered. "It could have some open flames inside. And if not, the robots I destroy will probably create some adequate flames..."

"I'm so excited!"

Izuku was broken from his muttering by a pink haired, pink skinned girl, whose black eyes and yellow irises were staring at his emerald ones. He recoiled slightly in surprise as he took in the girl's wide grin.

"Aren't you as well?"

Izuku coughed, shaking his head.

"Y-yeah, I am. Sorry, you just surprised me, uh..."

"The name's Mina Ashido! Just call me Mina! Pleased to meet you!"

"My name's Izuku Midoriya, pleasure to-" Izuku took out his right hand first before pausing and recoiling to extend his left hand. "Pleasure to meet you."

"Whatcha hidin' in that hand of yours?" Mina asked with a grin. Izuku couldn't help but smirk.

"It's a secret."

"If we stay friends, will you tell me?"

Izuku chuckled.

"Maybe."

"Gimme your phone, then!"

"Left it back at the main campus."

"Darn it!"

Izuku laughed, a genuine smile on his face. Mina grinned in response as he calmed himself down.

"How about this? As soon as those doors open, I'll show you the secret."

Mina grinned.

"Deal!"

Moe rolled her shoulders as she waited in front of her field's gate. Her right foot lightly tapped on the ground as she formed flame tools in her hands and switched creations every other moment.

'Why can't we just start when we're ready? I want to start NOW! Izuku could be starting any moment and I want to be back before him!'

She groaned as she returned her flames to her head. "C'mooooooonnnnnn..."

As if answering her question, the door opened. "START!" a voice shouted through the microphone. "Finally!"

Moe said nothing more as she charged into the forest-covered field and speared her first target with a flaming spear.

"Let's get started!" _

"That's a pretty awesome quirk, Mina! There's so many possibilities for what you could do with it!"

Mina giggled.

"Thank you! What about your quirk? What is it?"

Izuku gave Mina a knowing smirk, tapping his forehead with his index finger. "That's for me to know... And you to find out once the exam starts."

Mina pouted, stomping her food and extending her arms downwards.

"C'mooooonnnn!!"

Izuku laughed.

"It won't be too long."

A few moments later, the gate opened. "See?"

"START!"

"Show me!" Mina demanded.

He finally pulled his right hand from his pocket and opened it, revealing a small blue orb of flame that slowly expanded to a palm-sized green flame.

"Woah-HEY!" Mina shouted as Izuku closed his hand again and rushed off. "See you after the exam!"

"No fair!"

Izuku smiled as he ran into the cityscape that was his exam field.

'She's really fun to talk to, even after only knowing her for a few minutes. I like her. I'm sure Moe would as well.'

Izuku's thoughts halted as soon as he spotted two one-pointer robots screaming out of an alleyway and advancing on him at a rapid pace. Opening his palm, he smirked as his flame compressed to a bright white sphere and shot at the robots.

What happened next were two quick streaks of white, one happening after the other, followed by the robots crumpling and tumbling away from the excess speed.

"Well, that first encounter gave me a good idea of what will be happening in every fight."

After a couple moments, several more robots came out of the alleyways and around the corners. His smirk remained on his face as he took a deep breath.

"Bring it on." Chapter End Notes

Let the exams begin! Already, you've been given a quick sneak peek at Izuku's development, as I have never made Izuku's Flame Bits(that's what I'm calling the move, shut up XD) move as quick as they do. BOOM! BANG!

"Haha! This is kinda fun!" Moe declared, swinging a giant hammer of flames into a group of three pointers.

The flaming hammer shifted into a fiery flail as she whipped it from robot to robot that she was surrounded with. One final downward swing crushed and set fire to the last active robot in the group.

She looked around at her surroundings for a moment, taking in the many pipes around her. To her left, she paused as she spotted a head of blond hair. She couldn't help but grin evilly as she watched Katsuki Bakugo flying towards a robot with a feral grin on his face.

Her flaming flail melted away, forming into a bow and arrow. She drew the string back, aiming at the robot he was going for.

"HEY! BAKU-FUCKER!"

Her shout got his attention, his smile turning into a look of fury as he looked at her. She released the string and watched as the flaming arrow soared through the air and hit its target, setting fire and destroying the three-pointer robot Bakugo was going for.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Moe cackled.

"FUCK YOU, YOU BITCH!"

Moe extended her left hand's middle finger, flipping Bakugo off. She turned and ran away from

the area as she heard the sound of more robots to her right. Her bow shifted into a flaming whip as she ran, laughing to herself as she heard Bakugo's temper tantrum behind her.

Turning a corner, she was faced with several one-pointer robots.

"Too easy!" she shouted, pulling her whip back and lashing out at the first robot.

The flames burned through the armor and melted the internals, triggering a small explosion from the chest of the robot. She quickly whipped the second before it could level its weapon at her, making another robot explode with her whip.

Pulling the weapon back to her, she shifted her flames from a whip to a scythe, running up and slashing downward, cleaving the next robot in half down the middle. The flaming scythe didn't stay much longer afterwards, changing into a longsword as she performed an upward slash and burned through the fourth robot.

Her flames returned to her again before she threw two small flaming daggers a moment later, the blades piercing the eyes of each of them.

As the robots all fell to the ground, she patted her hands off with a satisfied smirk.

"I knew this was gonna be a synch. Now where's Baka-fucker? I want to steal more points from him."

Izuku ran down a street, facing away from a group of one-pointers which had chased them. A smile was on his face as he finally stopped and spun around, directing Moe's compressed flames to his hand before he closed it.

The robots kept approaching as he extended his arm towards them.

'Compress... Compress... Compress...'

As soon as he felt the flame become unstable as it compressed in his hand, he released a grin. The robots were upon him a moment later and he opened his palm, releasing the control over how compressed the flame was.

Flames blasted forth in a massive explosion that rendered all ten one-pointers to cinders. Pulling the flames back to his palm and compressing them into a small orb of blue flames, he turned and continued running through the streets.

"There you are!"

The sound of feet sliding across the ground brought his attention to a rapidly approaching Mina who had slid around the corner while leaning into the turn. She spun around twice before sliding to a stop, smiling brightly as she placed her hands on her hips.

"I've been looking around for you!" she said, pointing an accusatory finger at him. "Really?" Izuku asked with a chuckle and smile.

"Yeah! You ran off before you could show me how your quirk works!"

Two two-point robots came whizzing around the corner behind Mina, prompting Izuku to push her out of the way and extend his hand, the orb of flame splitting into several smaller ones and shooting straight at the villain robots. They slowed to a stop before crumpling to the ground.

"That's awesome!" Mina gushed. "What is it?" Izuku smirked.

"My quirk."

"I know that already!" Mina shouted with a frown.

Izuku chuckled.

"I mean what is it made of?"

"Oohhhhh," Izuku nodded.

"Yeah."

"Well, it's-"

"Behind you!"

Mina threw a handful of acid straight into a one-pointer behind Izuku.

"Nice shot," Izuku said with a smile.

"Thanks!"

"Why don't I explain after the exam?"

"Yeah, that makes sense. Let's go!"

Moe stood on top of a building, looking down at the ground below. In her hands was a flaming bow and arrow with the string pulled back. A smile was on her face as she tracked a target.

"Annnnd... Shot!"

Moe released the flaming string of her bow, sending an arrow through the air at her target. "MOTHERFUCKER!"

Moe cackled as she heard Bakugo's outburst.

"Another three points stolen."

Glancing over to the right, her laughter stopped and a frown appeared on her face. In the distance, she saw a pair of three-pointers standing over a girl wearing a red polka dot t-shirt and had brown hair in the shape of a mushroom-like bob cut.

"Time to be a hero," Moe said to herself.

Running over to a nearby pipe that ran down the side of the wall in a ramp-like slant. Her flaming hair shortened as she used more flames, creating a giant axe in her hand. She leaped off the roof, landing on the pipe and slid down with a feral grin.

"O-oh no..."

Above the brown haired girl, the claws of one of the three-pointer villain robots drawing back for a downward strike. The girl closed her eyes and moved her arms in front of her face.

"Someone help!"

A few moments later, the strike never came, causing the girl to open her eyes and gaze upon Moe Kamiji with a giant flaming axe in her hands embedded in the first of the two three-pointers. She glanced at the girl.

"Don't fucking stand there! Get out of here!"

The girl shook her head quickly. "R-right! Thank you so much!"

As the girl ran away, Moe ripped the axe out of the robot and beheaded it, ducking underneath a strike from the second one a moment later. She spun around, embedding the axe in the second robot's chest a moment later. Yanking it out, she let her flames return to her hair as she watched the robot fall to the ground.

"Piece of cake."

RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

Moe glanced around quickly, crouching slightly to keep from staggering. "The hell was that?"

In the distance, a giant, hulking robot rolled through the field.

"Damn, that's huge."

Squinting, she saw a small blond-haired boy flying towards the robot.

"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT IF YOU HAVE ZERO POINTS! I'M FUCKING PISSED AS FUCK!"

"Pfffft-hahahahahahahahahahahaha!" Moe broke down into a fit of laughter. "Firecracker's going to fight it? That dumbass!"

To Moe's surprise, the head of the robot was obliterated in a massive explosion caused by the blond boy.

"Holy shit, he could actually do it. I wonder how-"

Moe glanced over to the right and saw a massive pillar of flame erupt in the distance, her eyes widening at the sight. The flame kept burning for a few moments before dying down. She kept staring for a minute before a message was yelled over the loudspeakers in the area.

"TIME IS UP, LITTLE LISTENERS! RETURN TO YOUR BUS!"

Moe kept staring in the direction of where the flaming pillar once was. Shaking her head to break her trance, she turned away and walked back to the entrance. A small smirk finally appeared on her face.

"Did he really need to go all-out like that?" she muttered to herself. _ "Hooooooollllyyyyyyy shiiiiiittttt!" Mina cried with wide eyes.

Izuku panted heavily, standing in front of a pitch black circle five meters wide. Glancing behind him, he gave Mina and a second person with yellow, straw-like colored skin and a glue dispenser for a head.

"Told you I can do a lot with more flames at my disposal," Izuku wheezed out, stumbling backwards.

Mina rushed forward and catched him, slipping his arm over her shoulders. "A-are you okay?" the boy with the glue dispenser head questioned. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just really... really tired. I could go for a nap right now."

"Well, let's get you back to the bus. You can take a nap on the way-" "Wait," Izuku interrupted.

Izuku glanced over at a green flame burning on the sidewalk. He extended his hand and pulled the flame back to him, compressing it into the small blue orb of flame.

"Almost forgot this," Izuku explained with a weak smile.

"Oh? What's up with that?" Mina asked.

"It's my girlfriend's flame. She wouldn't be too happy if I lost it," Izuku explained with a smirk. "Oh you're already taken? Damn."

"Huh?"

"Nothing! C'mon!"

"W-wait for me!"

"You seriously used Volcanic Inferno on that Zero-Pointer?" Moe asked with an exasperated smile. Izuku chuckled sheepishly.

"I was kind of... Showing off?"

"Honestly, Izuku..."

Mina watched the two of them interact from the side, not hiding the smile on her face.

'Those two are perfect! I can see why they're dating!'

"Oh yeah! Here!"

Izuku opened his palm, releasing the flame's compression and letting the green flame float back to Moe's hair. She hummed as a small smirk came to her face.

"You actually kept it. I was expecting you to use it up in one attack, maybe even have it as the catalyst for your Inferno."

Izuku chuckled.

"I used a flame from one of the destroyed robots as the catalyst. And a little help from Bondo." The glue dispenser-headed boy waved nervously.

"H-hi..."

"Mhm... And who's she?"

"The name's Mina Ashido! Call me Mina!"

"She's another new friend. I think you'll like her."

She looked Mina up and down before giving her a glare.

"Don't even think about trying to take my man... And you'll live," Moe declared.

Izuku rolled his eyes fondly.

"Moe..."

Her evil aura completely disappeared as Izuku kissed her cheek, the girl pouting a moment later. "Izukuuuu... I want to make her scared!"

"I know, but you have nothing to worry about. I only have eyes for you, remember?" Izuku reminded her, wrapping his arm around her lower back and pulling her closer.

She sighed.

"Yeah..."

Mina giggled at the pair of them, making her frown.

"Shut up!"

"See? Already a part of the group."

"Who's a part of the group?" Kosei called as he jogged up, Juzo approaching a moment later. "Guys, this is Mina and Bondo."

"Heya!"

"H-hi..."

"Hello," Juzo greeted.

"Finally! Another girl in the group! And one that's single!"

"Like she'd even have eyes for a lazy bum like you," Moe jabbed with a feral grin returning to her face.

"Unless you like getting forced to dance!" Mina added without missing a beat. "D-dance? Noooo thanks!"

The group broke into laughter for a few moments.

"Yeah, I definitely like you. You're in."

"Sweet!"

Izuku smiled.

"C'mon guys. Let's celebrate our success with a trip to Ice Cream King," he proposed.

"Yeah!" Chapter End Notes

Beep-Beep! Beep-Beep! Beep-Bee- CRUNCH!

Izuku couldn't help but smile as he heard his alarm clock break.

"That's the fourth alarm clock this month," Izuku said with a soft chuckle.

"Fuck your alarm clocks..." Moe mumbled, nuzzling against his neck as she snuggled with him. "I don't want to wake up early on our days off..."

Izuku's smile softened as he brought his hand up to her flaming hair, feeling the warmth of the flickering flames as he ran his fingers through it.

"Mmmmhhh..." Moe moaned softly. "See...? If we woke up early... I'd miss this..."

"Of course. It's not like I can't just run my hand through your hair at any other point of the day ." A light hit on his chest drew another round of chuckles from him.

"Shut up!"

"I think you'll have to make me."

She shifted slightly before pushing herself up, her tired face finally greeting Izuku's eyes for the first time that day. Her eyes squinted down at him while a small smirk was on her lips.

"I'll have to make you?"

"I think you have to," Izuku replied with a nod and smile.

Moe found herself unconsciously biting her lip as she looked down at the bare chest of her boyfriend below, taking in the sculpted muscles built by multiple years of training. Her eyes trailed back up to his, locking gazes as she smirked.

She lowered herself down, pressing her lips against his in a soft, loving kiss. Her kiss turned more passionate as she felt his hands rake through her fiery hair. She mewled before pulling back, panting slightly for a moment before diving back in for another passionate liplock.

Moe pulled back with a gentle moan, pressing her forehead against his.

"I fuckin' love you, Izuku..."

"I love you too, Moe..."

The two shared another kiss that ended in them panting softly and staring into one another's eyes.

"You better watch out. One of these days, I might drag you into this bed for some of this and then some ," Moe warned with a smirk.

"We're already at that point?"

"Mmmhmmm!"

"I guess this is what I deserve for getting you fired up on our graduation." "I hated you sooooo much!" Moe said, laughing softly.

"In my defense, you kept pestering me about showing you how dirty I could talk to you..." Izuku replied with a sheepish smile. "I was so red after I said it..."

"Izuku! Moe! Breakfast!" Inko called.

Moe pushed herself up off of her boyfriend, glancing behind her at the door while giving Izuku a good view of her bra. A small blush came to his face as he shamelessly looked over her toned torso.

"We'll be there in a minute!" Moe called before looking back at her boyfriend. She smirked.

"See something you like, lover boy~?"

Izuku's blush increased, eliciting a chuckle from his girlfriend.

"You've seen me almost completely naked and you still get shy?"

"I can't help it... Your teasing always gets to me..." Izuku muttered.

"And that's why I love doing it! Now c'mon you, Mama Inko's cooking is gonna get cold!" "O-okay!"

"So, where did you decide to bring us this time?"

"It's a surprise," Moe replied, a smirk on her face.

She and Izuku were walking down the sidewalk in the inner city, the sounds of the city flooding their ears as they walked by the large buildings and weaved through the midmorning city goers.

Moe was clad in a cream white t-shirt and red shorts, while Izuku was wearing a green t-shirt and brown cargo shorts.

"And why is that?"

"Because I want it to be," Moe said, her smirk turning into the feral grin Izuku grew to love. "It's a spicy food restaurant, isn't it?" Izuku guessed in a deadpan expression.

Moe kept grinning.

"What makes you say that?"

Izuku's shoulders drooped as he sighed.

"Why do you want to torch my taste buds so much..." Izuku groaned.

"Because you're missing out on the delicious spicy food!" Moe said, tugging his arm.

"IT BURNS MY MOUTH!"

"I KNOW! ISN'T IT AWESOME?!"

"I hate you..." Izuku croaked.

"You don't mean that!" Moe grinned, hooking an arm around his neck and leaning against him.

The two of them were leaving a two-story building with a bright red sign reading "Flamin' Mexican Spicy Cuisine" above the door. The windows beside it showed the interior, which was filled with customers around a single man in chef's garb. The man was standing over a large pan with a wide grin on his face, pouring a bottle of liquid into it.

"I really don't, but I don't really like you right now. I can't feel my tongue!" Moe cackled.

"That's the joy of it!

"But I want to actually be able to taste something in the next hour!"

"You won't be eating anything in the next hour!" "No thanks to your food choice!"

Despite their shots back and forth, they both wore small smiles on their faces and their hands were linked together. As they kept going, they lost track of time and where they were going, only realizing how far they went when the sight of giant skyscrapers had left their peripherals.

"Huh, we're already almost home," Moe commented.

"Yeah, we are. Funny, it only felt like a few minutes," Izuku said with a nod.

"Time flies when you're having fun!" Moe replied with her usual feral grin. "Now let's get back home so we can-"

CRACK! POP!

Both Izuku and Moe looked around as they heard the small explosions close by. Several more small pops and crackles followed, leading their gazes to an alleyway. Against their better judgement, the two of them followed the sounds.

Walking through the alley, they found it led into a small, brick-walled area where junk was strewn about. Near the middle of the room, tossing something from her hand and watching the small explosion that occurred upon the object hitting the ground, was a young girl with pale blonde hair.

She was wearing a red coat with a darker red and white collar over a white dress, white shorts, as well as a fluffy scarf. She was wearing knee socks, boots, and a brown messenger bag. Pom-pom gloves were hanging off the small bag. Lastly, she wore a large, red newsboy cap with a four-leaf- clover insignia.

She giggled as she watched the explosion before reaching in and tossing another black object at the ground, a larger explosion accompanying the hit and eliciting higher-pitched laughter.

Izuku and Moe glanced at each other before walking out of the alley. "Uh... hello?" Izuku spoke up first.

The girl quickly spun around, surprise on her face. It disappeared as fast as it came, though, as a bright smile came to her face and a sparkle came to her light red eyes.

"Hello!" the girl chirped with a bright smile and wave.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Klee! What's your name?"

Izuku and Moe shared another glance before looking back at the girl again.

"My name's Izuku Midoriya."

"And I'm Moe Kamiji. That's an interesting quirk there, firecracker."

Klee giggled.

"Yeah, it's really fun!"

"What is your quirk, anyway?"

"Oh! Oh! I can take flam... flamamama-"

"Flammable?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah! That! I can take that stuff and make bombs out of them! Like this!" Klee reached into her bag and took out a piece of charcoal.

"That's really cool," Izuku said with a smile.

Moe couldn't help but smile softly at the expression of pure joy on Klee's face. "You think so?!"

Izuku chuckled.

Yeah, I do."

"Wow! Everyone else at the orphanage doesn't really like it," Klee said with a disappointed expression that lasted for a few seconds before the smile returned. "But you really like it!"

Izuku and Moe gave each other a concerned frown.

"They don't like it?" Izuku asked as he looked back at her.

"Mhm. They say only villains use bombs and that it's a bad quirk. But that's not true, it's really cool and really fun! How could it be a villain's quirk?"

'She still is happy despite being told that... Good...'

"They're just jealous of something so awesome belonging to a young girl like you," Moe said with a toothy smirk. "That quirk's absolutely awesome!"

The sparkles in her eyes were almost as blinding as the smile she gave. Both Izuku and Moe felt their chests warm at the happiness she exuded.

"Thank you so much!"

"So why are you here? It's dangerous to be alone," Izuku said.

"I wanted to practice my quirk, but everyone kept telling me I'm not allowed to. So I just sneak off every day over here and practice," Klee said, her energetic demeanor never faltering.

Izuku and Moe shared another concerned frown.

'Her orphanage doesn't even care that she's gone? How bad is it there?' Izuku thought to himself before looking down at Klee again.

"Well, it's dangerous to be alone. What do you say we meet you here every day and make sure you're safe?"

"Really?"

"You bet!" Moe said without missing a beat.

"We can even help you improve it if you want. We know a bit about flame-based quirks. Granted ours are more in regards to fire, not explosions, but we could offer suggestions," Izuku added.

Klee was practically hopping on her feet as she stood in front of them, her smile bright and giving Izuku and Moe a shot of warmth straight to their chests.

"What do you say?" Izuku asked. "YES! YES YES YES!" Klee cheered.

Izuku and Moe couldn't help but laugh at her energetic personality. Even with their laughter, Klee merely smiled happily at the two of them.

'They're the bestest adults I've ever met!' Klee thought to herself. "Well, since we're already here, how about we get started?"

Klee gasped before hopping once in excitement.

"Okay!"

Loving Care

Chapter Notes

See the end of the chapter for notes

"She's really sweet. The little firecracker is so excitable, and she doesn't even care that people are calling her quirk villainous, even though it isn't," Moe explained. "That girl's strong-willed."

"Which is good. I would hate it if she was depressed because of those rude people," Inko replied with a nod.

"We volunteered to help her practice her quirk while just spending time with her. Who knows how much she needs positive interaction with people," Izuku added.

"That's a very good idea," his mother said before her eyes widened. "Oh! Why don't you invite her over to lunch? I'd love to meet her! And since the orphanage doesn't care, she can stay here as long as she likes."

Izuku and Moe smiled at each other.

"That's a good idea. I'm sure she'd love to." _

"Of course! Your mama sounds so nice!" Klee beamed with sparkles in her eyes.

Moe laughed while Izuku smiled. The trio were all in the alleyway they had first met at the previous day, Izuku and Moe standing in front of Klee and watching as she hopped on her toes with a bright smile on her face.

"Well, after we get some practice done, we can go and introduce you. How does that sound?" "Ooh! Okay!" Klee nodded vigorously. "What do I do first?"

"Did you bring more flammable things?"

"Mhm! I brought more flama... flamamama... That stuff!" Klee nodded, pulling a few pieces of wood and charcoal.

"Alright. So how do you make them explosive?"

"Um... I think really really hard! And when I throw it, they go boom!" Klee replied with a grin.

Izuku nodded, pinching his chin with his index and thumb. Moe smirked, glancing from her boyfriend to Klee.

"Izuku's working his magic, now," Moe said.

Klee gasped.

"He's magic?" Klee asked.

Moe laughed, pushing down the cap on Klee's head to cover her eyes. "Hey!" Klee pouted.

"Izuku may not actually be magic, but the ideas he comes up with can be considered magic. I'm sure he's thinking up something that'll make your quirk look even cooler," Moe said encouragingly.

"Really?!" she asked hopefully.

"Really," Moe nodded with a softer, but no less feral, grin. "I got it!"

"See?" _

Klee threw a piece of charcoal at the ground several feet in front of her. Upon hitting the ground, it erupted in a cacophony of sounds and flashes, multiple small explosions echoing through the alleyway as the charcoal exploded several different times.

"Awesome job, Little Firecracker!" Moe congratulated.

"You learned that so quickly! Good job, Klee!" Izuku added with a smile.

Klee beamed, blushing slightly at the congratulations she was given. Even in her shyness, she couldn't stop bouncing on the balls of her feet in happiness. After another moment, she stopped bouncing and rushed at the two eighteen-year-olds.

The pair were stunned when she hugged both of their legs tightly. Sharing a glance, they looked back down at the blonde haired girl.

"Thank you," Klee said softly. "Thank you very much!"

The pair felt wetness on the legs Klee buried her head in. The pair pushed Klee away slightly before crouching down, enveloping the girl in two sets of arms as she continued crying.

"It's our pleasure Klee," Izuku said softly.

"Yeah. You can't be an awesome hero without training, and we're happy to give it to you," Moe added, patting Klee's back softly.

"Now, what do you say we go take a lunch break at my house?" Izuku offered.

Klee pulled back slightly from the embrace, wiping the tears from her eyes as she smiled. Her face slowly regained the energetic look she always seemed to have in her eyes.

"Yeah...! Yeah I wanna meet her!"

"Then follow us!"

"Okay!" _ Click-Creeeeeeaaaaak!

"Mom! We're home," Izuku called inside the house. "We brought someone you should meet!" "Okay, sweetie! I'll be right there!" Inko called in reply from the kitchen.

Izuku, Moe, and Klee all took their shoes off, with the two adults helping Klee with getting her boots off. Once they were done, Izuku and Moe brought the girl to the living room.

"Woah! So comfy!" she declared as she hopped onto the couch and sunk into the cushions. Izuku and Moe chuckled.

"Yeah it is, but make sure you don't get too comfy. You might fall asleep," Izuku said with a smile. "Moe's done that many times already."

Moe swatted his shoulder, eliciting a laugh from Izuku and a giggle from Klee, the girl smiling as she looked up at the two in admiration. The look in her red eyes warmed both their hearts.

Footsteps getting closer to the two of them brought their attention to the entrance of the living

room, a smiling Inko walking into the room.

"So who's the person I need to-" Inko gasped as her eyes landed on Klee.

The mother's cheeks gained a red hue to them as she placed her hands on her cheeks and cooed. "Ohhhhh! She's so adorable!"

Klee blushed at Inko's exclamation, attempting to hide her face with her hat. Inko had moved closer to her when Klee peeked out of her hat. Inko was crouched down in front of the couch in front of her, smiling softly.

"Hello there."

"Hi," Klee replied.

"What's your name?"

"I'm Klee..."

Moe leaned into Izuku's ear as Inko and Klee talked.

"She's so adorable when she's shy," she whispered.

"I know, she's so cute," Izuku replied in a hushed voice.

"Do you think Inko would be mad if we decided to steal Klee from the orphanage?" "Moe! That's a crime!" Izuku whisper-yelled.

"It's not like they would care. She's feared for her quirk. And I know you were thinking along the lines of something similar to get her away from that," Moe said with a serious frown. "And I know you wouldn't leave her care to chance by telling Kairi to tell her brother about it."

Izuku sighed, his shoulders drooping slightly.

"You're right... I'm still trying to think about a surefire way to get her to someplace nice while also still being able to spend time with her. It hasn't even been two days yet and I already love spending time with her."

Moe smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder and squeezing.

"I know, and I agree. Whatever you decide, I'll support it."

"Thanks, Moe..." Izuku smiled softly.

"Just know that if you take too long, I may have to take matters into my own hands," she added with a grin.

Izuku chuckled, snaking an arm around his girlfriend's lower back and squeezing once. "Yeah!" Izuku and Moe blinked once as they heard the excited chirp.

Klee's voice brought their focus back to her and Inko, the girl smiling brightly at the Midoriya Matriarch while standing on the couch. She began reaching into her backpack before getting stopped by the elder Midoriya.

"Not right here, sweetie. You'll burn the couch if you do," Inko said with a smile. "Oh yeah! Okay, where?"

Inko smiled.

"Let's go to the kitchen and you can show me on the counter. Only a small one, though, okay?" "Okay, c'mon! C'mon!"

POP! CRACKLE! POP!

"My goodness!" Inko exclaimed with a smile, clapping as she watched the small explosions on the countertop. "That is certainly impressive!"

"You think so?" Klee beamed.

"I do! It's very wonderful, dearie," the elder Midoriya replied. "But that's enough of using your quirk for now. I'm sure you'd like some food, right?"

Klee nodded rapidly.

"Mhm! Mhm!"

"Well, why don't you, Izuku, and Moe all relax on the couch and I'll make something to eat?" "Okay!" Klee nodded, rushing to Izuku and Moe and grabbing their hands. "C'mon! C'mon!" Izuku and Moe chuckled.

"Alright, Little Firecracker," Moe replied, allowing herself to be dragged by Klee.

Izuku smiled wordlessly, also allowing himself to get dragged to the living room.

'We'll do our best to give you a very good life, Klee. I promise you.'

BANG! CRACKLE! POP-POP! KABOOM!

"Woah!" Klee exclaimed

"Good job, Klee!" Izuku praised. "Your explosion variations are getting better."

"My... Vararat... What?" Klee asked with a tilt of her head.

Moe laughed, stealing Klee's hat and ruffling her hair before returning her hat. All throughout, Klee was giggling and smiling happily.

"What he means is that you can make different explosions at will now. You don't have to just live with whatever explosions your quirk puts into what you're holding," Moe explained with a grin.

"Oooooooooooooohhhhhhh!" Klee nodded before smiling. "Cool!" "You're right, Firecracker. It is cool!"

Klee ran up and hugged Izuku's legs.

"Thank you!"

She then released Izuku quickly and rushed to Moe, hugging her legs upon impact. "Thank you!"

Moe laughed softly.

"You're welcome," she replied, patting Klee's hat-clad head.

Izuku smiled softly at the display, including the slightly motherly glint in Moe's eyes as she looked down at the child hugging her. Forcing himself to look away, he turned his gaze to the orange sky above.

"Hey Klee, we have a couple more hours before nightfall. Do you want to go get ice cream in celebration of this or do you want to keep practicing?"

Klee released Moe, jumping up and throwing her hands up in the air. "Ice cream!"

Izuku, Moe, and Klee walked down the street with ice cream cones in their hands in the late afternoon sun. They were making their way to a large property with a grassy front yard leading to a two-story, auburn building with several windows in the front. A sign above the building read 'Muhoyo Orphanage' on the top.

The trio stopped in front of the property, Klee turning to Izuku and Moe with a smile.

"I can't wait for tomorrow!"

Izuku and Moe glanced at each other before looking down at Klee.

"About tomorrow," Izuku began, a small, curious frown forming on Klee's face as a response. "We won't be able to come early tomorrow."

"Why not?"

"We're going to be moving into the UA dorms. We won't really be done until early in the afternoon. Do you think you can wait that long?" Moe asked.

Klee pouted.

"I guess..."

Izuku crouched down, smiling softly at the girl as he placed his free hand on her shoulder.

"We'll make it up to you, okay? I promise," Izuku said softly.

"You promise?"

"Pinky promise," Izuku said with a wider smile, withdrawing his hand to extend his pinky.

Klee, brightening up, extended her own pinky and wrapped it around Izuku's.

"Okay! It's a promise!"

"Good girl. Now get going before they lock up for the night. We'll see you tomorrow afternoon, okay?"

"Okay! Bye-bye!"

Izuku stood up as Klee ran to the double doors of the orphanage, smiling softly and leaning against his girlfriend as they watched her wave at the door. They waved in response before Klee went inside.

"C'mon, Izuku. Let's get packing, so we can visit her faster tomorrow."

Izuku smiled and nodded at his girlfriend.

"Right." Chapter End Notes

"Hmm?"

Izuku looked up from the open box he had on the bed, glancing over to the left at Moe who was standing in front of one of their dressers with one of the drawers pulled open.

"Have you seen that black lace bra and panties I wore a few nights ago?"

"The ones you used to tease me?"

"The ones you stripped me of because I teased you," Moe clarified with a smirk.

"Ah yeah," Izuku replied with a nod and smile.

"Perv," Moe teased.

"Says the girl who wore them in the first place. And I didn't see you complaining," Izuku fired back. "I think they're still in the hamper."

"That's a shame. I liked how sexy they made me look."

"You're sexy no matter what you wear," Izuku said with a shake of his head, looking back down into his box.

His eyes went over the stack of clothes on the right side of the box while the left had a stack of notebooks. He nodded with a smile before closing the box up. He turned his head to the left again to find Moe's face inches from his, her arms wrapping around his stomach as he finally realized she was there.

"You're doing a good job earning brownie points, lover boy~" she purred as her nose pressed against his and their eyes locked gazes.

Izuku twisted himself slightly, allowing him to wrap an arm around the small of her back. "I aim to please," Izuku replied with a smirk. "Specifically, you."

"Hmm, you're way better than you were in high school." Moe pressed a kiss into his lips, the boy reciprocating a moment later.

"I had a good teacher."

"You're just earning more and more brownie points, mister," Moe said jokingly, drawing a chuckle from Izuku.

"I gotta save up. You never know when they'll come in handy," he said, kissing her again. "Smart boy. I knew I picked the right guy to fall for."

"I'm the luckiest guy in Japan, then." Izuku fully turned himself to face her, hugging her with both arms finally.

Moe's smirk softened to a smile, closing her eyes as she melted into his warm embrace. "Izuku! Moe! The moving truck is here!" Inko called from outside their room.

The two of them pulled away from each other, keeping one arm around each other as they faced the door.

"Alright! We're almost ready!" Izuku called before looking at Moe. "I can help you pack the rest of your things."

"Alright. First off, grab the lace bra and panties. I can wash it at UA." Izuku chuckled, rolling his eyes fondly.

"Of course," he said with a sarcastic tone. "Whatever you say, darling." "Damn straight."

Izuku and Moe stood outside the Midoriya household, watching as a large box truck with the emblem of UA drove off down the street. Once it took a turn down another road and the truck disappeared from vision, the pair turned to look at the elder Midoriya who stood behind them.

Inko smiled, tears in the corners of her eyes.

"I'm so proud of both of you..." she said, her smile turning wobbly.

Izuku and Moe quickly hugged Inko, the woman embracing the both of them tightly as she cried into their shoulders.

"My babies are going to UA to become heroes...! I'm so happy for you!"

"Thanks, Mama Inko," Moe said with a smile. "And you bet we'll visit you when we have time."

"I would love that dear..."

"And feel free to call any time," Izuku added.

"I will," Inko replied with a nod, sniffling as she pulled away from the hug. "Now don't let me hold you up any longer. You have to get to UA. Be safe, you two!"

"We will!"

The front gates of UA were bustling with activity. It wasn't as hectic as the entrance exams, but there were still many people, both new students and returning, flooding the entrance. Some held bags over their shoulders while others entered with only the clothes on their back.

"About time you guys got here!" Kosei called.

Izuku and Moe glanced from the entrance of the campus to the approaching Kosei, Juzo, and Mina.

"Hey there, you two!" Mina greeted with a grin and wave.

"What took you so long?" Juzo asked, his right eyebrow raising slightly.

"We took a bit longer packing our things," Izuku explained with a shrug and smile. "Mhmmm..." Mina smirked. "Sure, that's what you were doing."

"I agree with Mina. Your explanation is bullshit," Kosei added with a smirk.

Moe shifted her stance, placing her free hand on her hip. She cocked her eyebrow as she glanced at Izuku before looking at her other friends.

"Do you really want to know what we get up to?" Juzo raised his hands up.

"Nope."

"Ooh! What do you do?" Mina asked.

"I wanna know too!"

Moe grinned, but before she could speak, Izuku covered her mouth.

"Well you're gonna have to just use your imagination," Izuku interrupted. "Besides, we need to move in, as do you. C'mon."

"Awww!" both Mina and Kosei whined, much to Juzo's amusement.

The trio of friends followed Izuku and Moe as they walked through the front gates.

"Nice job keeping me from telling them," Moe commented with a smirk.

"You may act all open with what you do, but I know you like keeping that stuff to yourself," Izuku replied, shaking his head with a smirk.

"Of course. Nobody but me will get to know how much of a stud you are," Moe replied with a smirk.

"Even you don't know yet," Izuku shot back.

Moe leaned into Izuku's head.

"Our nights together say differently," she replied in a whisper.

Izuku rolled his eyes fondly, shaking his head.

"You're unbelievable."

"I love you too."

Izuku and Moe continued walking with their friends down the main walkway, stopping at a large board that had a large crowd of students around them.

The board showed a map of UA's campus, showing the main building at the center. Several buildings were off to the side, a list of names placed under each one. The five friends focused on two specific buildings.

"Aww, no fair!" Mina exclaimed. "I wanted to be in the same dorm as you!" "I feel bad for you," Moe said with a frown.

"Yeah, right," Mina shot back with a frown.

"No, I really do. You have to deal with Baka-fucker."

Mina glanced between the serious faced Moe and the student list that she was looking at. "Bakugo?" she questioned.

"Yeah, him."

"He actually got in? I thought you said you robbed him of his points," Kosei commented. "He doesn't deserve to get in at all..." Juzo said with a shake of his head.

"Uh, what am I missing?" Mina asked.

"This Bakugo guy bullied Izuku for most of his life. It's only after he met Kamiji and came to our school that he recovered and got better," Juzo explained. "He's not a good guy from what I've heard."

"He's a bitch that shouldn't even be in this school," Moe clarified.

"I'm trying to let that go. It helps that he's in the other class instead of ours. Sorry you have to deal with him, though," Izuku said with an apologetic look towards Mina.

The girl placed her hands on her hips and shook her head.

"That's fine," Mina said with a smile. "I'm glad I know that now, though. I probably would have tried to make friends with him without even knowing."

"Well, now you know. And now you can make friends with other people, preferably some hot girls that you could introduce to your friend?" Kosei pleaded.

"Nah," Mina shot back with a grin.

Izuku checked his phone and nudged Moe as she grinned at the exchange.

"We need to unpack our things so we'll be on time to visit Klee."

"Right," Moe said with a nod before turning to her friends. "We gotta go. We have somewhere to be afterwards."

"Yeah, go ahead. We're gonna wait for Bondo before splitting to unpack," Juzo said. "See you tonight."

"Tonight?"

"I know you two won't spend all night out of the dorms."

"We just might," Moe played along with a smirk. "See ya!"

Izuku and Moe turned and jogged away, using the memory of the map to guide where they went. _

"Why did I think you were going to be in your own room?" Izuku asked with a chuckle.

Moe placed down the box in her hands on the bed in a medium-sized, cream-walled room with nothing but the bed they were in front of in it. She went over to Izuku and wrapped an arm around his neck.

"Because you're silly like that," she replied with her usual feral smile, knocking on his head once. "C'mon, help me unpack."

"You know they won't approve of this, right?" Izuku asked.

"Of course. That's why I want you to help me bring the furniture to my room and the clothes in yours," Moe replied, tapping her forehead.

Izuku rolled his eyes with a fond smile.

"Of course," he repeated. "Alright, c'mon. Let's get this over with." _

The orange afternoon sun shined down on the sidewalk that Izuku and Moe were jogging down.

Ahead of them was the orphanage and they could immediately spot Klee in front of the building, the girl picking up things in the grass and placing them in her bag.

"Klee!" Izuku called, slowing to a stop with Moe beside him.

The girl stood up quickly, a stick in her hand and a bright smile on her face. She rushed the pair of them, hugging both their legs. After a few moments, she pulled back and smiled happily at the two of them

"Hi!"

"Hey there, Little Firecracker," Moe said with a grin.

"How are you today?" Izuku asked with a soft smile.

"I'm really good! I've been getting sticks for today's practice!"

Izuku chuckled, patting Klee's head. The girl closed her eyes as she enjoyed the affectionate gesture.

"So from now on, we'll have to meet up around this time. We have classes in the morning starting this upcoming Monday," Izuku explained.

Klee pouted while nodding.

"Okay..." she said before brightening up. "So that means you can still meet me early tomorrow, right?"

Moe laughed.

"Of course we can, Firecracker," she replied. "Now what do you say we get going and start practicing where we usually practice?"

Klee beamed brightly as she nodded.

"Yeah!" Chapter End Notes

So some of you might have been wondering how I got the class list the way they were. Well, first off I placed both Izuku and Moe in 1-A. Then I had a random generator for the rest. These class lists, barring Izuku and Moe, are completely randomly chosen.

CRACKLE! POP-POP-POP! POP-BANG!

Klee clapped as she watched the stick she threw explode multiple times, grinning and hopping on the balls of her feet as she enjoyed the lightshow. Moe and Izuku smiled down at the happy child, hands interlocked together as they stood beside each other.

"That was a good one, Firecracker," Moe complimented with a soft grin on her face.

"It's a good thing we're making you keep the explosive force to a minimum. Those things could do some real damage," Izuku added. "But we can work on that when you're older."

"Aww!" Klee pouted.

"I don't want you trying to destroy anything at your age, Klee," he said, getting on one knee in front of the girl. "That would get you in real big trouble. And if you're in big trouble, that means you won't be able to see us as much."

"No!" she shouted quickly, hugging Izuku tightly and stunning both him and Moe with her outburst.

Izuku wrapped his arms around Klee, rubbing circles into the girl's back while Moe crouched down next to him.

"I don't want to be kept from seeing you..." she said into his chest, her voice muffled from his shirt. "I'd be so sad..."

Izuku and Moe locked gazes for a moment before looking down at Klee again. He smiled softly as he took the girl's hat off and patted the back of her head.

"We'd be sad too, Klee. We love spending time with you every day and we'd never trade that time for anything," he said softly.

"You bet we wouldn't. I even wish we met you sooner! You're a fun kid," Moe added with a softer version of her feral grin.

Klee pulled her head out of Izuku's chest and looked over at Moe. She quickly rushed into her stomach, hugging Moe as tight as she did Izuku. Moe's eyes widened and a surprised expression overtook her face for a moment before a kind and caring smile formed and she returned the hug.

"You're the greatest kid I've met, Klee. Never forget that."

"Mhm..."

"Good..." she said softly, petting her head a couple times.

A couple minutes passed in silence before Moe decided to look up at the orange sky. Looking back down, she patted Klee's head once.

"Well, it's getting late. How about I show you how I make explosions before we go back?" Moe asked, the girl stepping back from the hug and looking up at her.

"I get to see your explosions?!" Klee asked with excitement.

"Well," Moe began, taking Klee's hat when Izuku handed her it. "Since I have a fire quirk, I can

technically make explosions. Just like Izuku."

"Woahhhh! Can you show me yours too?" Klee asked Izuku with a hopeful smile.

'One look at that face and I already know I can't say no...' he thought with a smile on his face. "Of course I can, Klee."

"YAY!" _

Izuku and Moe walked down the sidewalk as the light in the sky grew dark. The light level was nearing the point where Moe's hair actually provided light for the pair of them.

"Izuku, it's getting hard to stay patient," Moe said with a slight frown. "You need to make your decision soon. Especially after what happened today."

Izuku nodded.

"I think I already have..."

"You have?" Moe glanced over at her boyfriend with a raised eyebrow.

"I want to do it. It'll be tough, but I want her to be happy. And while she may seem happy just with us visiting her every day, it's not the best atmosphere for her."

Her usual feral grin formed on her lips as she watched Izuku stare ahead with a serious expression. "Well, now that we know what we want to do, when are we going to do it?"

Izuku looked down slightly, letting out a quiet hum as his pace slowed.

"When things calm down at UA, since the first week is probably going to be pretty hectic."

"You got a point, as much as I don't like that point..." Moe said with a slight pouty frown.

Izuku smiled slightly before his frown returned.

"We should talk to Mom about this as well. And after she's adopted, we should tell Kairi about the orphanage."

"That was a no-brainer." Izuku nodded in response.

"Yeah, that's true. But anyways, for now, let's focus on thinking of what we can do tomorrow. It'll be our last full day with Klee until next weekend."

"Beach day?" Moe suggested without missing a beat.

Izuku narrowed his eyes and smirked at his girlfriend.

"You just want to tease me with your swimsuit, don't you?" Moe grinned in response.

"I can't deny that thought crossed my mind..." she started, glancing away. "Buuuut, that's not what made me decide that. I just thought it would be fun to just have a fun day with Klee. We've mostly been helping her improve her quirk, after all."

"That's true. And I do like the idea of seeing you in a swimsuit..."

"Perv." Moe chuckled.

"You encourage it."

"I know," she said with a more smug grin. "Doesn't mean I can't still call you one. You're just my

perv."

"Thank you for such an honorable title..." Izuku replied with a deadpan expression.

Moe laughed in response, leaning against her boyfriend as the pair continued walking down the empty sidewalk.

Izuku and Moe arrived at the front of their dorm building, Moe's flaming hair providing light for the two of them in the darkness of the night. The only other source of light was through the windows of the building ahead of them.

"Ready to meet some new faces?" Izuku asked as they walked up the steps and approached the door.

"Do I have to...?" she groaned, leaning against Izuku harder than she already was. "We'll be with this class while we're in UA, so of course you do."

"Fiiiinnnneeeee..." she sighed as Izuku opened the door for her, walking through with him behind her.

Inside, they could see a man with black hair wrapped in a braid down his back talking to a pitch- black-skinned man with white hair in the living room. Closer towards the front door, Juzo and Kosei were talking with two other people; a bird-headed boy with dark feathers and an orange- haired girl. Bondo was behind Juzo, but not talking, simply looking on at the conversation with his hands at his sides tapping his legs with the index and thumb of each hand.

After a couple moments, Juzo and Kosei looked away from their conversation towards Izuku and Moe.

"Hey! There they are," Kosei said, gesturing to the pair at the door.

Izuku smiled and held Moe tighter for a moment.

"Hey guys. Sorry, we got a bit sidetracked on our way back," Izuku said with a smile.

"Sidetracked?" Juzo asked with a noticeable crinkle in one of his eyes as he raised his other eye's eyebrow.

"Yes, sidetracked. And no, it's not what you're thinking," Moe fired back with a grin. "We'd never do that in public. That's saved exclusively for Izuku's bedroom."

Juzo laughed once.

"Can't blame a guy for assuming, knowing you two."

"Uh..." the orange-haired girl interrupted.

"If this is a private conversation, we could leave," the bird-headed boy offered.

"No, no, it's fine, we tease them about this all the time," Kosei said with a chuckle and smile. "Just like we tease Kosei about being too lazy to do anything," Juzo added.

"Hey!"

"So, what're your names?" Izuku asked the two people with a friendly smile.

The orange-haired girl went first after a moment of silence.

"I'm Itsuka Kendo. It's a pleasure to meet you and your... Interesting group of friends," she said

with a slight smile.

"I am Fumikage Tokoyami," the bird-headed boy said with a slight nod. "Just call me Tokoyami."

"Pleased to meet you," Izuku replied with a wider smile and nod. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, and this beautiful woman-"

Moe smiled and rolled her eyes fondly as she leaned into Izuku's embrace.

"-Is Moe Kamiji."

"Don't try to make a move on Izuku, and we're good," Moe said with a feral grin. "That's fine," Kendo said with a chuckle in her voice. "I'll keep my hands off." Izuku laughed in response.

"Well with that initiation process over with, how about we get something to eat and get to know you two? I'll cook," Izuku offered.

"Hell yeah!" Moe exclaimed, shoving her boyfriend. "Go on, get cooking!" Izuku laughed as he stumbled slightly.

"Alright, alright, I will."

"Huh?" Kendo tilted her head.

"Did we miss something?" Tokoyami asked.

"Oh, you don't know?" Kosei questioned with a smirk. "What?" Kendo asked.

"You're both friends with Izuku now, and he doesn't really take no for an answer on that," Juzo said with crinkled eyes.

"Y-you get used to it..." Bondo finally spoke up, scratching the back of his glue dispenser head.

"Welcome to the Izuku Squad," Kosei said before frowning slightly. "Midoriya Team...? The Green Group! No, we aren't all green..."

"Shut up Kosei."

"C'mon, hurry up! I don't want anyone to interrupt us!" Moe said quietly.

She and Izuku left their bedroom slowly and quietly closed the door. She was wearing a white T- shirt with a black string showing over her shoulders and tied around the back of her neck while wearing a soft pair of black shorts. Izuku was wearing a similarly white t-shirt with a pair of forest- pattern swimming trunks. Both of them were wearing sandals and carrying a bag over their shoulders.

"We're already leaving early as it is. I don't think we have anything to worry about," Izuku replied in a hushed tone, following his girlfriend down the stairs.

Reaching the bottom floor, they made a beeline to the door.

"Oh hey you two," Kendo's voice spoke, freezing both of them mid-stride. "What're you two doing up this early?"

The pair turned and Izuku breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Kendo, the girl wearing a martial

arts gi with her hands on her hips.

"Oh, it's you, Kendo," Izuku said, relaxing.

"What're you doing up?" Moe questioned.

"I usually get some early morning practice every day. What about you?"

"We're going to the beach one last time before school starts," Moe replied nonchalantly. "You didn't invite anyone else?"

"Well... It's a special kind of beach day," Izuku explained. "We wanted to give someone special to the two of us a full day of fun before school starts. Once it starts, we won't be able to see her for the same amount of time as we did before."

Kendo nodded slowly.

"Well, alright then. Be safe and have a good time, I guess."

"We'll invite you and the rest of the group next time, I promise," Izuku said with an apologetic bow before Moe hooked her arm around his and pulled him out of the building.

Kendo watched as her two classmates left, a slight frown on her face. After a moment, she shrugged.

"Well, everyone has their secrets, I guess. I just hope they stay safe..." She started off towards the door without another word. _

"Hey!" Klee chirped as she ran towards the sidewalk where Izuku and Moe were standing.

The two of them smiled as they took in the bright smile on Klee's face. Crouching down, they accepted the tight hug the red-eyed, blonde-haired girl gave them.

"Hey there, Little Firecracker," Moe said warmly.

"Hey Klee," Izuku greeted with the same warmth to his voice as Moe's.

"You two are sooo early! What're we gonna do today?" she asked with excitement after pulling away from the two of them.

"Well, first we gotta go to the store," Izuku said with a smile. "The store? Why?" Klee tilted her head with a confused frown. "Because we're going to the beach!" Moe added with a grin. Klee gasped, her eyes practically turning into stars.

"THE BEACH?!" Chapter End Notes

BEACH DAY! Klee's gonna have so much fun! But first, she's gotta get a cute swimsuit. Then fun times abound with our favorite fiery fellas!

Ker-Splash! Sizzle!

"Hey! Watch the hair!"

Moe, clad in a black, two-piece swimsuit, covered her hair and glared halfheartedly at Izuku, the boy in a green pair of swim trunks and grinning as he stood a couple feet away from her in the water.

"What's wrong, Moe?" he asked innocently.

"The more you splash my hair, the smaller my hair gets."

"What's wrong with that? I think you look quite cute with short hair," Izuku replied, his grin turning into a smirk.

Moe dipped her arm into the water and sent a large wave of water Izuku's way, forcing him to cover his face while he laughed. Before they continued splashing, a small rock splashed into the water between them and exploded a moment later, sending water at both of them and causing them to stumble backward while covering their faces.

As they uncovered their faces, childish giggling brought their attention to a shallower part of the water. Klee, dressed in an orange, frilly one-piece swimsuit, held her stomach as she giggled at what she caused.

Izuku glanced over at Moe to see her long flaming hair shorter than before. He chuckled as well, causing Moe to frown. She looked over at Klee and a devilish grin formed on her face.

"You look pretty dry, Klee~" she cooed.

The girl's eyes widened as she took a step back. "Uh-oh." Izuku smirked.

Izuku sank slightly in the water as he watched Moe splash through the water towards the blonde- haired girl.

"Noooooooooooooo!!!" Klee shouted as she splashed away at a slower speed than Moe. "Get over here, ya little firecracker!"

Izuku couldn't restrain the laughter as he watched Klee splash Moe more and more as she got closer. Moe grabbed the girl right as her flaming hair was halfway down her neck. She scooped the girl up, ignoring the squirms.

"No! Let me go!" Klee shouted in a giggly voice, unable to hide the smile on her face as she squirmed.

"Nah, I think I'll help you go swimming," Moe grinned, wafting into the deeper waters.

As they got deeper, Klee's smile slowly went away and her squirming stopped, her arms wrapping around Moe tightly. Moe's smile disappeared immediately as she looked down at Klee. She had a slightly fearful expression as she looked at the waist-deep waters.

"Deep..." she muttered.

"Hey what's wrong-" Izuku cut himself off as he came around to Moe's front, frowning and approaching the girl who was clinging to his girlfriend. "Klee? What's wrong?"

"It's... Scary..."

Moe frowned before adjusting her hold on Klee to a hug. Izuku placed his hand over her shoulder.

"It's okay, Klee. She didn't really plan to just drop you in the water. She was just playing," Izuku explained.

"Yeah, I wouldn't have let you go," Moe confirmed with a nod. "I would have just dunked you into the water a couple times with your head staying out of the water before carrying you back."

"Let's go to shore and take a break," Izuku said softly.

Moe nodded, wafting through the waters with her boyfriend. The two of them moved to the single red towel in the empty Dagobah Beach. Moe sat down with Klee on her lap while Izuku sat in front of her.

"Klee?" Izuku started, gaining the girl's attention. "Why were you afraid back there?"

Klee looked down in shame despite Izuku's kind and soft voice. Izuku scooted closer and patted the girl's back.

"You don't have to worry about what we think," Moe said, shaking her head once. "Yeah." Izuku nodded. "We just want to know what's wrong so we can try to help."

Klee kept looking down in silent shame, closing her eyes and pressing her face into Moe's chest after a moment.

"Do you not know how to swim?"

Klee shook her head slowly.

"Is that why you're afraid? You're afraid of drowning?"

Klee didn't move for a couple moments before slowly nodding against Moe's chest.

"Oh, sweetie..." Moe cooed, rubbing circles in the girl's back.

"You don't have to be sad or afraid."

"I don't?" Klee asked, finally bringing her face from Moe's chest to look at Izuku.

Izuku smiled warmly at the girl.

"Yeah. Moe knows how to swim. I do, too. We'll make sure you swim like a fish," Izuku said, his smile widening.

"You will?" she asked, her voice and expression becoming more hopeful. "We will," Izuku said with a nod. "Right, Moe?"

"Heck yeah we will," she replied with her feral grin coming to her face. "You'll be way better than other people your age when we're done with you!"

Moe's enthusiasm got to Klee, the girl slowly brightening up and a smile slowly forming on her face.

"So do you want to start learning?"

"Mhm!" Klee nodded energetically.

"Get going into the water, then. We'll be right behind you." Klee nodded with a wide smile.

"Okay!"

Klee stood from Moe's lap and ran to the water, keeping to ankle-deep water before turning to look at Izuku and Moe.

"C'mon!"

Izuku and Moe stood from where they were sitting, smiling as they saw Klee's excited smile.

"You called her 'sweetie'," Izuku pointed out as Moe was about to move, causing her to pause.

"What?"

"You heard me," Izuku replied with a warm smile in his girlfriend's direction.

Moe's surprise gave way to a grin.

"Yeah I did. And I'm gonna keep saying it with my other nicknames for her," she replied.

"I would expect nothing less... Now let's go help Klee learn how to swim."

"Right!"

Izuku and Moe walked down the sidewalk in their regular clothes, Izuku carrying a passed out Klee in his arms. The pair had smiles on their faces.

"She really ran herself ragged today," Izuku commented with a chuckle. "And we thought today was just supposed to be fun and we wouldn't be teaching her anything today."

"She didn't do what she was supposed to do," Moe joked with her usual feral grin. "What a bad girl."

The pair laughed softly while leaning shoulder to shoulder. The two of them descended into silence, the only sounds being of the flickering of Moe's flaming hair, their footsteps, and the gentle evening breeze.

"Today was fun," Izuku said, breaking silence.

"Yeah..." Moe agreed in a soft tone. "Every day with her is fun."

Izuku nodded.

"I agree. It's a shame we'll be having shorter days with her in the weeks to come." "That's if we can't get to keep her on campus," Moe stated with a devilishly clever grin. "I doubt that." Izuku chuckled.

"You'll never know until we try. Why don't we have a test run tonight?"

"No, bad Moe," Izuku said, lightly thwapping his girlfriend's forehead with a fond smile. "She might get in trouble for being gone all night. That might keep us from seeing her until we come to get her."

Moe pouted, glancing away. "You got a point..."

"We shouldn't worry about if we could sneak her into UA or not until we officially adopt her, Moe. Let's take it all nice and slow."

"Yeah, yeah, I know..." Moe sighed. "It'll be worth it in the end."

Moe glanced over at Klee, the girl's peaceful expression sending warmth through her body. She smiled softly.

"Yeah... I know..."

"Good-" Klee let out a long yawn as she rubbed her eye. "Good night, Moe... Izuku..."

She was standing in front of Izuku and Moe with her back to the front gates of her orphanage, her eyes tiredly looking at the two people she held the closest in her life.

"Goodnight to you too, Klee," Izuku said with a soft smile. "You make sure you get right to sleep when you get inside, alright?"

"Mmmmhmmm..." she replied with another yawn.

"Tomorrow will be different than usual. We'll be having classes until the afternoon, so we'll be getting here later and we'll have to spend a shorter amount of time together. So remember to stay here until you see us, alright?" Moe asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Mmmmhmmmm..." Klee nodded.

"Good girl," Moe said with a grin. "Now c'mon, gimme a goodbye hug."

Klee needed no prompting to tiredly waddle forward and embrace Moe, the girl returning Klee's hug and patting her back. Separating, Klee was gently pulled into Izuku's embrace, the girl letting

out a happy noise as she melted into the embrace.

"See you tomorrrowwwww..." Klee said with a tired smile as she stepped back, waving slowly. "You too, Firecracker," Moe said with a grin.

"Yeah, you too." Izuku nodded with a warm smile.

Klee waved for a couple more moments before turning and tiredly waddling down the walkway to the front doors of the orphanage. Once she closed the door behind her, Moe and Izuku looked at each other.

"Let's go home," Izuku said, offering his hand to his girlfriend. Moe took it and squeezed once.

"Yeah. I'm getting pretty tired anyway."

The two of them started walking down the sidewalk once more. "Can we sleep naked tonight?"

"M-Moe!"

"What? All the dirty things we talk about and now you get flustered?" "We're talking about this in the open!"

"So what? No one's around to hear it. Now c'mon, answer me."

"Mooooooooeeeeeeeeeee!!!" Chapter End Notes

And yes, they did sleep naked that night XD

Chapter Notes

"C'mon! C'mon! We're gonna be late!" Moe shouted as she ran, her school bag in her hand being thrown over her shoulder.

"I know! I know!" Izuku shouted back, in the middle of buttoning his blazer, his tie loosely tied around his neck and flopping about. "We really should have waited until tonight to start what we did!"

"Dammit!"

The pair of them dashed down the sidewalk towards UA's main building, making it inside soon enough. They just reached the door and threw it open when the first bell rang, rushing through the threshold and stopped, heaving heavy breaths as they crouched down slightly.

"Long night?" Juzo questioned as he approached them, his eyes crinkled in a smile.

"More like not a long enough morning," Moe grumbled in response.

"Didn't get your daily dose of-"

"Complete that sentence, Kosei, and you'll be bald before class even starts," she threatened.

Juzo laughed as Kosei flinched and sat down, his hands covering his hair. Bondo chuckled quietly from a few desks down.

"I have a feeling what Tsubaraba was gonna say was not too pure," a vine-haired girl commented with slightly narrowed eyes directed towards him.

"Indeed," Tokoyami added.

"Alright, everyone!" a feminine voice called over them, silencing the murmurs that followed Izuku and Moe's entrance. "Get to your seats, the second bell is about to ring!"

Izuku glanced over to the front of the classroom, where a woman wearing an amused smirk on her face was standing.

She was clearly a pro heroine from her costume, which was made up of largely dominatrix-styled clothing. Her black breastless leotard had under it a white skin-tight bodysuit to cover her bountiful breasts. The leotard acted like a corset, which accentuated her voluptuous figure.

'So that's The R-Rated Hero: Midnight...' he thought to himself.

He pulled his eyes away from the hero easily, bringing his gaze back to his girlfriend who he had

just seen in her purest form that night and morning.

'Not as good-looking as Moe, that's for sure,' he thought with a warm, fond smile.

Moe glanced his way as she sat at her desk, raising an eyebrow at his smiling gaze before smirking in response.

'Love you,' she mouthed.

'Love you too,' Izuku replied as soon as the second bell rang.

"Okay, everyone, quiet down and get to your seats. I don't mind small talk as long as you focus on the lessons, but you need to be quiet for this first part, alright?"

The response she was met with was silence, earning a smile from the woman.

"Good... Now we have a few things to go through in homeroom today. First, I will be your homeroom teacher. You can call me Miss Kayama or Midnight," she introduced, nodding once.

'She's less flirty than I thought she'd be. She is the R-Rated Hero, after all,' Izuku thought.

"We'll go into the classes you'll be taking in a moment," she said before leaning her torso forward and placing her elbows on the podium and smiling sensually at the class. "But first, tell me your names!"

'Well, that seems a bit more like what I think she might act like...'

"We'll start with the first row," she finished before glancing at Izuku with half-lidded eyes. "What's your name, cutie?"

Despite the look he was being given, Izuku didn't get nervous or flustered. He glanced over at his girlfriend with a smile before looking ahead.

"My name is Izuku Midoriya! Pleasure to meet you!" Izuku greeted with a bow a moment later. "I hope we can all get along during our time here!"

"Ooh~ Polite and handsome. I like you already," Midnight grinned.

"Thank you," he replied with a nod before sitting back in his seat.

"Your turn," Midnight said to Moe with a smile.

She stood up and placed her hands on her hips. She flashed a feral grin as she confidently pushed out her chest, an action Izuku couldn't help but follow.

"The name's Moe Kamiji," she said, her grin widening slightly as she caught her boyfriend's gaze. "Ready to learn how to kick villain ass and be a hero!"

"Very fiery personality, pun very much intended," Midnight replied, her smile turning to a grin. "I like it!"

Moe sat back down in her chair, glancing over at Izuku with a knowing smirk. A light blush tinted Izuku's cheeks as he returned the smile, causing the girl of his dreams to roll her eyes fondly.

"Okay, who's next?"

A girl with a rounded face, blonde hair, and two horns stood from her chair with a bright smile. "Hello! I am Pony Tsunotori-"

"Midoriya! Kamiji! Over here!" Mina called over the cacophony of voices in the cafeteria.

Izuku and Moe glanced towards the pinkette to the left of them, the girl sitting at a table with a green-haired girl and a blond-haired boy. Izuku glanced back at Bondo, Kosei, and Juzo before nodding in Mina's direction.

The group all went up to the table and sat with Mina and her two friends. "Hey, you guys! How's your days so far?" Mina asked with a grin.

"It's going pretty well so far," Juzo said with a shrug and nod.

"I hate it..." Kosei mumbled, his head collapsing on the table.

"I-it's okay..." Bondo said shyly.

"Classes are alright. Not really interested in these normal classes, just in the Heroics Class at the end of the day," Moe shrugged.

"I kind of agree with Moe, though I do like our homeroom teacher and our class teachers. They all seem nice," Izuku added. "Who're your friends?"

"Oh! This is Setsuna Tokage," Mina started, gesturing to the green-haired girl who flashed a sharp- toothed smile. "She's pretty cool and the first friend I made in my class."

"Hey there, handsome," she flirted.

"Hands off, he's mine," Moe warned lightheartedly before planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Oh, poo," Setsuna pouted. "Lucky..."

"Hell yeah I am," Izuku's fire-haired girlfriend replied with a grin.

"This isn't faiiiiirrrrrr!" Kosei whined. "Why is HE getting all the attention?!"

"Because he's a genuinely nice guy that only pervs on the girl he loves after they get into a relationship?" Juzo suggested, his eyes crinkled in a smile and his head tilted slightly.

"Shut up..." Kosei pouted, eliciting a quiet, shy chuckle from Bondo.

"And this is Denki Kaminari. He's cool too."

"Yo," Kaminari greeted with a wave. "Quite the group. Think I got a spot to join?"

"Got ten bucks for entry?" Juzo joked.

"Left them in my other pants," Kaminari shot back with a lighthearted smile.

The two of them chuckled with Izuku smiling at the exchange. A couple moments into the laughter, Itsuka and Tokoyami approached the table.

"Sorry we didn't meet up sooner. We were one of the last ones in line," Itsuka apologized.

"And I was busy talking with one of our classmates, Kuroiro. He is quite the kindred spirit," Tokoyami added. "So I unintentionally held Kendo up."

"It's fine," Izuku said with a smile.

"Who're these two?" Mina asked with a smile.

"I'd like to know as well," Setsuna added.

"Guys, this is Itsuka Kendo and Fumikage Tokoyami."

"Hey!" Mina and Setsuna waved.

"Hello beautiful," Kaminari smiled at Itsuka.

"Hello to yourself," Itsuka replied with a raised eyebrow.

"Greetings," Tokoyami bowed his head.

"Is that all you got for a flirt?" Moe questioned with a smirk. "You might be as hopeless as Kosei."

"Yea-HEY!"

Juzo and Izuku laughed, both of them reaching over and patting his shoulders sympathetically.

"I was just caught off guard, that's all." Kaminari shrugged and smirked. "Didn't expect a hottie like her to be here."

Itsuka didn't comment, merely smirking in amusement at the banter going on before her.

"So, who's your homeroom teacher?" Izuku questioned, bringing the subject back to school. Mina, Setsuna, and Kaminari all groaned and wilted.

"The worst teacher ever..." Mina groaned.

"Not fun whatsoever..." Setsuna shook her head.

"Spend the entirety of homeroom going through quirk apprehension test results..." the blond boy sighed. "That we were forced to do yesterday before school even started..."

"Shouta Aizawa..." all three of them groaned out. "Who's yours?" Mina added curiously.

"Nemuri Kayama. The R-Rated Hero: Midnight." "Luckyyyyy!!!"

The majority of the group that was in 1-A chuckled at their friends' pain. Even Tokoyami was smirking sympathetically for the three of them. Bondo was quietly chuckling under his breath.

"Anyone's better than Mr. Aizawa, but Midnight might be one of the teachers that are fun to be around," Mina surmised.

"Oh, definitely," Juzo confirmed with a nod. "She told us we could have small talk amongst ourselves so long as we focus on our lessons as well. That sounds pretty relaxed."

"Better than our homeroom teacher. I'm pretty sure his catchphrase is 'sit down and shut up' from how many times he's used it just in homeroom alone," Kaminari retorted.

"Let's get off that topic," Setsuna urged with a dismissive hand. "It's lunch! We get to talk and have a good time with our friends before classes resume! Let's focus on fun topics!"

"What topics did you have in mind?" Izuku asked curiously.

"Nothing about relationships, I hope," Juzo commented. "Don't want our dear Kosei to feel left out."

"Quit it!" _

"So who do you guys think will be our teacher for this?" Itsuka asked, glancing to either side of her.

She was standing with her group of friends in a classroom void of a teacher. On the board at the front of the class, there were letters scrawled in chalk reading "Foundational Hero Studies".

"I don't know who all the staff are at UA, so it could be anyone," Izuku replied with a shrug. "What if it's a guest hero not actually a part of the school?" Kosei suggested.

"That could work, too." Juzo nodded. "It would make sense if it was one of the top heroes if they went that route."

Hearing the door open, they all looked away from each other and towards the entering hero. He had an old-style gas mask over his face, concealing his identity very well along with the cowboy hat over his head and the matching costume over his body.

"Howdy," the man greeted without any hint of an accent at all. "The name's Snipe, and I'll be your Foundational Hero Studies teacher. Well, one of them, anyways."

Kosei raised his hand immediately.

"Yes?"

"Where's your accent?"

The pro hero chuckled, adding some American western twang to the laughter alone.

"Well if yer wonderin', it's uh act fer mah persona," he replied, placing his hands on his hips before raising one to tip his hat. "It gets tirin' if I use it too much."

Snipe cleared his throat, his twang disappearing.

"So I hold back on it during in-class settings. Anything else?"

A student with black hair tied into a braid raised his hand slowly.

"What is it?"

"You mentioned that you would be one of our teachers. Does that mean our teacher will change every day?"

Snipe nodded, his hands resting on his hips once more.

"Yes and no. I will be the main teacher of this class, showing up every day. However, there will be another hero that will be overseeing the assignments and giving tips and words of advice throughout the class. Our first one will be a surprise, so there's no point asking me who." Snipe shook his head. "Are there any more questions?"

Silence met his question and he nodded once.

"Good! Now, onto our lesson plans. You'll be hitting the ground running, but that doesn't mean you won't be learning the basics. Your first assignment is designed to assess everything you currently know and find out points of improvement; whether it's rescuing, cooperation, quirk control, or combat. I'll explain more of it when we get to the viewing room, but for now..." Snipe pressed a button on the wall beside the board.

On the other side of it, the wall opened up and revealed twenty briefcases, each with the name of a student on the side that was exposed. Snipe walked over to the suitcases and gestured to them.

"Here are your hero costumes. As you all remember, you sent in a submission before beginning your tenure here and we managed to have them all made. There is a possibility some costumes will have things missing or altered. If they are, talk to me before or after class and I'll tell you what you need to do to get it fixed." Snipe stepped away from the cases in the wall. "Grab them, get dressed, and meet me in the viewing room. Don't take too long. You're all dismissed."

Snipe tipped his hat one last time before he left the room, leaving the class as they started moving to the front of the room. Izuku and Moe were one of the last ones to stand from their desks, glancing at one another with smiles on their faces.

"You ready, Moe?"

Moe gave her boyfriend her trademark feral grin as she grabbed his hand and squeezed it.

"Hell yeah I am, babe. Let's go!" Chapter End Notes

Chapter Notes

Moe stood in a room filled with monitors on the back wall where the teacher was standing. The room itself was a blue-gray color all around, from the floor to the ceiling, with a set of two consoles on either wall of the room with a chair in front of each screen and keyboard.

In the middle of the room, her classmates were all standing in their hero costumes. The styles ranged from ordinary clothes like the white suit like Shouto Todoroki had or the simple light blue jacket and pale pants of Kosei's costume, to elegant dresses like Ibara Shiozaki's white robe, Itsuka's teal and gold qipao, and Kinoko's red with white polka dot turtleneck dress. Others had skin tight suits like Ochako Uraraka's black bodysuit with pink stripes, Yui Kodai's Ultraman- inspired red and white bodysuit with a white mid-thigh length skirt around her waist, and Rikido Sato's classic superhero-inspired yellow and white costume.

Moe's costume was a light-gray double breasted mini dress with orange and black lining and slits on both sides of the skirt. Her collar, belt and wrist guards were black with a smaller orange line, and the silver buttons resembling flat-headed screws. She also wore a belt with a temperature gauge on the front and a fire extinguisher on the back, black knee-high socks, and short black boots. She wore a black domino mask connected to a red headband that held her flaming hair in two bangs on either side of her head with a wider bang going from the center of her forehead to the right.

She looked over at the door to the viewing room as she spotted it opening again, revealing Juzo in a black bodysuit under orange armor, his head concealed behind his helmet. Behind him was Fumikage Tokoyami, the boy wearing a pitch black robe over his entire body, concealing the rest of his body aside from his head.

Her eyes widened slightly and a smirk formed on her face as Izuku walked through the door last, looking at her boyfriend up and down.

Izuku was wearing a firefighting jacket and pants, with the jacket unzipped and revealing a black, form fitting sleeveless shirt, and black, high-top combat boots. The jacket and pants were thinner than the normal jackets, allowing better range of motion compared to the standard thickness. On his back was a gas tank placed horizontally and connected to the bottom of a backpack above it.

Connected to the gas tank were two small hoses leading to Izuku's forearms. On them, over the heavy jacket, was a pair of gauntlets with nozzles under his hands. Around his neck was a silver- gray mouth-and-nose breathing apparatus with two cylinders built into the cheek sections. Lastly, a

flint spark lighter was hanging from a carabiner hooked around a metal ring in the belt.

The jacket and pants were a fiery orange with white stripes around his jacket's stomach section and around the cuffs of his pant legs. His knees had black patches on them, breaking up the overall bright colors. His gauntlets were fiery red with a white stripe around the wrist section of it where the cuff of the jacket would have been.

Izuku caught his girlfriend's gaze and examined her appearance as well, wearing a smirk as he quite visibly looked her up and down while he approached.

"Looking hot, Moe," Izuku said with a smirk. "Pun very much intended."

His compliment got the attention of his flaming-haired girlfriend, who blinked before rolling her eyes with a groan and fond smirk.

"That's been done to death now," she said with another groan.

"I couldn't help myself," he replied with a chuckle, reaching forward and grasping his girlfriend's hand in his. "You do look really good, though."

"Hmm, do I really?" Moe smirked flirtatiously as she got closer. "You're not so bad yourself."

"I should hope so. You designed it for me. Though I don't understand why I need a fireman's jacket if I'm resistant to flames," Izuku commented with a smirk.

"That's because I don't want the girls to see the hunk underneath. That's for my eyes only," his girlfriend replied with her feral grin once again on her face. "And besides, it'll be extra protection against other things you aren't resistant to."

"Of course that part would be your afterthought," Izuku said with a roll of his eyes and a chuckle.

Moe only kept showing her feral grin in response, prompting a chuckle and shake of his head from Izuku.

"Have the couple finished their ogling session?" Kosei asked as he approached the two of them.

"It looks like it," Itsuka commented from beside Kosei.

Moe glanced at Kosei for a moment before smirking.

"Aww, not even a week and you're already cracking jokes without fear of being flamed," she teased.

"Flamed?" Itsuka questioned Izuku after a brief pause.

"Let's just say that Kosei's eyebrows aren't the ones he was born and raised with," Izuku replied with a chuckle.

"Ehehe... Yeah, this is my seventh set..." Kosei said, holding his hands over his eyebrows.

"I'm still surprised it hasn't been more," Juzo commented as he approached the group, Tokoyami still beside him. "I expected him to be on his twelfth set by now."

"I actually thought so as well," Izuku replied with a chuckle. "So he held back on the jokes?" Itsuka asked.

"No, Izuku was just distracting me by being embarrassed at the jokes, so I focused more on consoling him rather than dealing with the jokester," she replied. "Then when Izuku got confident, we just started focusing on just roasting him in response, which is way more fun."

"Not for me!" Kosei complained.

"Well we don't care about what you think," Juzo quipped quickly.

"Screw you!"

The original group of friends, including Kosei, all laughed while the new ones just watched them. Their laughter, as well as the rest of the conversations, silenced as the door opened one last time.

The woman who walked in had chin-length blonde hair with a green headband. On the headband, four claws were attached to the right, concealing her right eye. She was wearing a maroon red qipao with a pale green scale trim around the shoulders.and a yellow claw pattern on the bottom of the skirt part of the dress. She had black knee-high boots with a strap around her left thigh that was slightly exposed in the slit of her dress. On her arms were white, almost sleeve-like white gloves that nearly reached her shoulders and left her hands bare.

Kosei and a couple of girls gasped in surprise and excitement as they took in the heroine's appearance.

"Students, meet your first guest hero for Foundational Hero Studies: The Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu," Snipe said, breaking the complete silence.

"Hello, 1-A. It is a pleasure to meet you all," the heroine greeted with a sharp-toothed smile, bowing slightly with closed eyes. "I hope I can give you all useful knowledge for your future of heroism."

"Indeed you will," Snipe continued. "Because this is something you're quite experienced with doing."

"Oh?" Ryukyu asked.

Everyone turned to face Snipe on Ryukyu's questioning response.

"Your first lesson as a class is how to deal with a city full of crime," the Pro Hero declared. A few students let out sounds of surprise.

"So soon?!" one of them questioned.

"It may seem like too soon, but this is actually the perfect time for it. Having the Number 9 Pro Hero here to supervise this class would make it the perfect lesson to start with," Snipe explained. "She would know what it's like to go on patrol in one of the hotspots of Japan."

"I suppose you do have a point," Ryukyu agreed.

"But first, let me explain what this first assignment will be. The prompt is this: All of you are pro heroes in a city filled with villains. They have terrorized the police to the point of them never even responding anymore. Civilians live in fear and it's up to the twenty of you to make it safe again. Robots will be used as not only villains, but civilians and police officers as well." Snipe took a deep breath, pressing a button on a nearby console and activating a screen behind him, showing a variety of robots. "Civilians will be colored white, police will be colored blue, and villains will be black, red, green, or yellow. The reason why there is a variety of colors is because each one denotes their difficulty. And as you may have guessed, I did not list them in order from weakest to hardest. Your job as a hero is to deduce which ones are weaker than others. Short of mass villain research, you won't know how difficult villains are in the real world until you fight them."

"You can never know every villain in Japan," Ryukyu added. "Even if you did, at least several more will come up tomorrow, or next week, or next month. The best way is to be quick at adapting to the situation and sticking to the essential rule of heroism: Focus on saving as many lives as possible."

"Exactly, Ryukyu," Snipe continued, nodding in agreement with the heroine. "Civilian lives are your top priority. While stopping the villain or villains is the more immediate solution, people could still be around, trapped in rubble or watching nearby behind police barricades. If you aren't rescuing civilians, you're fighting the villains so other heroes can evacuate them."

"Heroes with not too subtle quirks like mine would be required to fight villains rather than rescue civilians. While you could be very useful, the risk for collateral damage is higher. For example, what if they're in a smaller location than you can fit? That was something I personally had to learn when I was young." Ryukyu placed her hand over her chest with a bow of her head.

She raised her head with the same warm smile she had when she entered, looking over the students and lingering at Moe and Izuku as she spotted them. Looking away after a split second longer than she had looked at the other students, she addressed the whole class again.

"You have to learn to play to your strengths. If you do, you will find you will be more effective than many of the other heroes out there," she concluded.

"It's an unfortunate reality that many of the lower-tiered pro heroes are just there to be in the limelight, regardless of if their quirk is useful for the situation at hand," Snipe added with a sigh. "This first lesson will be a good first impression of you all to me. I will learn how good your teamwork is, if you know what your personal strengths are, and how proficient you are in the application of your quirks in a villain encounter."

Snipe concluded his statement and was met with silence. After a few moments, he glanced over to Ryukyu before looking back at the class again.

"Now, before I set you all loose, are there any questions?"

Itsuka raised her hand, the movement drawing her friends' attention as well as the teachers'. "Yes, Miss Kendo?" Snipe nodded.

"How will the teams be decided? Or will we be required to go as a whole group?"

"You will be allowed to make your own teams or even go on your own if you want. The only thing going solo will affect is your personal lesson plans. Going solo will tell us you cannot cooperate with a group and thus will have to be taught how to do so. But, of course, you can't just mitigate that by joining a team. While you won't outright be written off as someone who needs lessons on teamwork, you will still be judged on how well you worked with the people you team up with. Any other questions?" Snipe looked over the group again.

A large hand rose, directing the Pro Hero Teacher to the frog-quirked Tsuyu Asui. "Yes, Miss Asui?"

"Will we have time to make our teams and plan our strategy?"

"Yes, you will have a five-minute grace period to get your team together and plan where you will go. And what you asked reminded me of something you'll need to know: There will be no set plans you need to follow. You can go anywhere in the city's limits and fight in any villain encounters. This first lesson ends when all the encounters are completed," the teacher concluded with a nod.

"Any other questions?"

Silence met Snipe's question, prompting another nod.

"Alright, then. Head out to the field and get started with your teams and planning. I'll signal when to begin."

The students slowly filed out of the viewing room, mixing with the murmurs of conversation to create a quiet cacophony of sounds in the room. Izuku and Moe smirked at each other as they waited in the back of the group.

"Duos?" Moe smirked.

"Damn, and I was just about to ask if I'd be able to come with you," Kosei said with a sigh.

"Don't worry, you still have Juzo to work with. And I'm sure Bondo would be happy to team up as well," Izuku replied with a smile.

"Y-yeah... I don't think I'd do well by myself..." the shy student spoke up, flinching at having been found out.

"Do not worry, Bondo. This class shall improve that confidence in your own abilities," Tokoyami declared seriously.

"Yeah, and we'll help as well," Itsuka added. "Yeah we will," Izuku agreed.

The group of friends moved to leave the room, unaware of the shy yet observant gaze of the silent Kinoko Komori nor the curious gaze of Ryukyu as they did.

"So, I think we all should split into duos," Izuku said, the boy standing in his group of friends just inside the limits of the city field. "It would allow us to cover a lot more ground and finish this lesson quicker."

"I agree. Doing that would also allow those who are unfamiliar with each other to learn just one person's quirk instead of having to be in a whole group and being forced to learn multiple at once," Itsuka agreed.

"Um, unless my math is wrong, there's an uneven amount of us here," Kosei commented, glancing at his six other friends.

"Guess you're the odd man out, Kosei," Moe snarked with her usual feral grin. "Oh come on!" Kosei whined.

"Well..." Itsuka glanced away from her group and at the rest of the students who were all looking at them. "There might be more that would be open to the plan."

Snipe and Ryukyu watched one of the screens showing Izuku's group practically absorbing the rest of the class as they planned.

"There's some leaders in that group," Ryukyu commented.

"Yeah. Midoriya and Kendo for sure. To a lesser extent, Kamiji as well. But that's probably because of her... Strong personality. People with personalities like her tend to draw followers, usually unintentionally."

"Indeed," she replied with a nod and chuckle before frowning at the screen. "What do you think of that boy? With the white suit?"

"Todoroki? He's really silent and antisocial. He'll probably be the hardest to get to work with other people."

"I suppose that comes with being put on a pedestal for being the son of Endeavor. I doubt his school life was at all normal," Ryukyu said with a concerned frown.

"Indeed," Snipe nodded in agreement.

The two of them were silent as they watched the group, Snipe looking at the greater group while Ryukyu's gaze constantly lingered back to Izuku and Moe.

'Already Kairi's two students are quite interesting. I look forward to how they'll do in this lesson,'

she thought to herself.

"Well, that's been five minutes," Snipe said after a while of silence.

The hero pressed a couple buttons on the console they were in front of before holding down a blue button with a speaker symbol on it.

"Class 1-A, this is Snipe. You will begin in three... Two... One..."

Snipe glanced over at Ryukyu.

"Begin!" Chapter End Notes

Quite the number of twists, huh? Not only is Snipe a better and more competent teacher, but Ryukyu is here as well! I can neither confirm nor deny my bias towards Ryukyu being a factor in choosing her as the first teacher and you will never get an answer out of me! XD

"Okay, you heard Snipe," Itsuka said, glancing at her classmates. "Everyone know your partner?"

Izuku and Moe nodded at each other with smirks on their faces. Glancing around them, they saw the rest of their class, with the majority sticking close to a second person. The blank-faced Shouto was the outlier, despite Sato's attempts to stand beside him.

"Let's fuck these villains up!" the flaming-haired woman shouted. "Let's go!"

Moe launched forward first, Izuku following behind her while shaking his head and smiling fondly. With the pair's departure, the rest of the class dispersed. Juzo split off with Itsuka as she left the starting area, the pair's heading being to Izuku and Moes' right as they shot directly forward. Bondo paired up with Kinoko, the two shy students awkwardly shuffling away from the group as they mumbled to each other, moving in the same direction as Itsuka and Juzo. Kuroiro accompanied Tokoyami in a similar direction Izuku and Moe went. Kosei was the last one of the friend group to depart, leaving with the serious-faced Sen Kaibara leading him to the left.

The rest of the class started dispersing after them, splitting in different directions in their pairs.

"So, do you have any idea where we're going?" Izuku asked as he fastened his breathing mask over his mouth.

"Of course I do! We're going this way!" "Moe!" he groaned.

"The hardest fights have always been in the middle of a big city," his girlfriend replied. "And I for one wanna kick the ass of villains that'll give both of us a challenge!"

"And if there are villains holding up civilians?"

"Then I'll kick their asses until you clear the civilians, and then we can both turn them to ash!" Moe gave Izuku a feral grin. "I told you I got this thought out!"

"And you think the hardest will be easy for us because...?"

"Because you have your Volcanic Inferno."

"That's implying that we encounter them outside buildings or places away from civilians."

"Well if we do, we can easily take them out. C'mon, we were trained by the sister of a pro hero who helped them learn their quirks! We can handle something as simple as this!"

"Well, we won't know until we encounter our first villain. Let's do this!"

Several red villain robots were destroying a giant building. Blue police robots were holding back a group of white civilian robots a couple blocks away. Robotic laughter escaped the villain robots as their destruction was met without challenge.

"Well shit..." Juzo commented. "If they can break a building as easily as that..." "They're bound to be strong," Itsuka completed with a nod.

The pair of them were standing just a few feet from the crowd. Glancing at each other, they nodded.

"Let's get going."

The moment Itsuka spoke again, all of the red villain robots turned to look straight at them, bright red eyes locking onto their heads. Both heroes took an unconscious step back at the sudden movements.

"Oh boy..." the armored boy beside the red-haired girl mumbled. "Did you just get an involuntary cold shiver from that?"

"Yeah..."

The robots raised their arms stiffly, their palms directed straight at them with the centers glowing. "Hard villains?"

"I'm thinking so..."

KABOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!

"No! Not hard!" Kosei screamed, letting out a heavy, panicked breath with his quirk.

An invisible wall of air blocked another giant explosion, the shockwave of which even went through the wall and threw him and Sen backwards. As the smoke cleared, they looked up at two yellow robots with digitigrade legs, an overall blocky design, and two glowing green slit eyes.

"Try damn near impossible!"

"I have to agree." Sen nodded.

"H-help!" Kinoko screamed, bringing the pair's attention to her and Bondo.

The pair of them were running from a pair of large-clawed red robots. The glue-quirked boy behind Kinoko dove away from an incoming claw, pulling Kinoko with him out of range of the claw swipe.

"Th-thank you..."

"N-no problem," Bondo mumbled.

"Horn Cannon Kaboom!" Pony called from out of sight.

Two horns ripped through the lead red robot, Kirishima coming crashing down a second later, but avoided by the second one. Pony landed beside him with two floating horns beside her.

"Don't worry, guys! We're here too!" he barked with a grin. "Here to rescue the day!" Pony added.

"ANOTHER MISSILE!" Kosei shouted. KABOOOOMMMMMM!!!

All of them were thrown from the shockwave, including the red robot.

"C'mon! What the hell is our luck we're stuck with the impossible ones?!" Kosei cried.

"Well..." Izuku commented, standing in a pile of green robots beside Moe. "I guess we can mark these off as easy..."

"Or they're hard but not hard enough for us," Moe fired back. Izuku nodded in silent agreement, glancing around.

"Well... it looks pretty empty. Should we-"

Izuku and Moe turned around as they heard the sounds of robotic feet stomping their way towards them. Around the corner of a building several feet in front of them, a huge group of black-colored robots charged into view. They had two arms, four legs, an angular torso, and a two-eyed head with one eye position above the other. Their fists were closed and four gun barrels were attached to them by the forearm.

Izuku brought several glowing blue orbs of flame around him, glancing over at his girlfriend. She grinned ferally back at him.

"Well, if green is easy like these..." Izuku started.

"Black should be the hardest!" Moe replied with a nod, an excited glint in her eyes. A large flaming axe formed in her hands.

"This is gonna be fun! Let's kick their asses!"

Both of them charged at the army of black-colored robots. They all stood their ground and fired rubber bullets from their weapons as the two hero students charged in close. Despite the barrage, neither of them got hit once. And upon the pair getting close, the robots only minorly resisted before getting cut down by Moe's axe or flayed from the inside out by Izuku's Flame Bits.

The pair of them slowed to a stop once the group had been cut down, Moe gritting her teeth with a frown. Izuku hummed as he pulled his Flame Bits back to him.

"Huh... I guess they were easier..."

"We were tricked..." Moe growled. "C'mon, Izuku, let's keep looking. We're bound to eventually find some good ones."

"And some civilians that might need saving as well."

"That might be where we find better ones-"

FWOOOOMMM!

The pair's eyes were immediately drawn to a building several blocks down that just burst into flames. They looked at one another, their expressions turning serious.

"Rescue first," Izuku said.

Moe nodded in agreement.

"Rescue first. Then hunt later." _

Snipe and Ryukyu silently watched the multiple screens showing each pair of students. Some were fighting, others were walking and glancing around, and more were rescuing white-colored civilians and blue-colored police officers.

"They're doing pretty well so far, all things considered," Snipe said, breaking the silence.

"Indeed. Although, their initial strategy of pairs hasn't gone too well. Three pairs are being forced to team up to handle the yellow-category robots," Ryukyu replied with a nod.

"It does show their adaptability. At least the ones teaming up."

The Dragoon Hero nodded again. Snipe chuckled a moment later, directing her attention to where he was looking.

"Kamiji doesn't seem to be too happy about the area she's in," he commented.

"Indeed. She struck me as the one to look for a fight," Ryukyu added.

"Yeah, her fiery personality isn't just for show. However..."

Ryukyu raised an eyebrow when she saw Moe's expression change to a more serious one.

"She does seem to reel herself in when things need to get done. Most likely thanks to that boyfriend of hers."

"Boyfriend? How can you tell?" Ryukyu asked.

"Well, other than the obvious hand-holding and glances at each other during the start of the class, they also stand a lot closer to each other than to other people."

"You notice that?"

"I notice a lot of things, Miss Ryukyu," Snipe said, tipping his hat at the woman. "Being who I am, it pays to be observant of everything around me. I'd rather not be stuck in a firefight and forget that there's a pillar in the trajectory of where I want to bend my bullet."

"That's a good point. Forgive me."

"Nothing to be forgiven. You were curious, that's all." _

Flames were sucked away from a burning building, flowing towards Izuku's hands. Moe ran out of the building with a white-colored robot beside her, its metal body darkened slightly from the heat and soot.

Izuku panted as he compressed the flames he was pulling in into another orb, sweat dripping from his brow. He glanced over at Moe who nodded at him and tapped the robot on the shoulder.

"The police are over there, let's go," she said before looking at Izuku again. "That was the last one I could find. I'll be right back and we can search for anyone else."

"Come back soon. We can't leave any stone unturned-"

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"

A yellow-armored robot interrupted the pair, two jets of flame shooting from the bottom of its two feet making it slowly descend to the ground in a controlled manner.

Izuku glanced over at Moe, the girl already creating a weapon from her flaming hair.

"Take the civilian to the police!" Izuku ordered, drawing her gaze. "I can hold him until you get back!"

She stared at him for a moment longer.

"Don't worry, if it's anything like our other opponents, this should be easy!" Izuku grinned.

Moe nodded finally before pushing the robot from behind, urging him to move faster. Izuku glanced back at the yellow-colored robot, finally compressing the last of the flames and adding it to his spinning ring of bits. The color was more white than blue unlike the others.

"Well, how about I show you what I can do?"

Three more yellow robots landed behind the lead one, their appearances more rounded and flowing compared to the leader's blocky appearance.

"Well... That might make this a bit more difficult."

"You think?" Hiryu Rin questioned, firing scales at a yellow robot before ducking behind an ice wall made by Shouto Todoroki.

His ducking back into cover avoided a red beam of energy spearing past where he previously was. Behind the wall with him was Itsuka, Juzo, the man who made the ice wall himself, Tsuyu, and Rikido.

"This yellow one is operating differently than the one we took down before, ribbit." "It seems each robot class has varying configurations." Rin hummed.

"That's not going to work well when we have red-class robots bearing down on us with the yellow's support," Itsuka replied.

A stream of ice flowed across the ground around the piece of cover, spearing towards the yellow robot. A crackling noise quietly echoed off of their surroundings before a crashing sound followed it. As if reporting it was still in the fight, a red laser shot into view once more, missing the mark before another one melted through the ice wall.

"My ice isn't working..." Shouto growled. "Then try your fire side," Rikido replied. "No."

Itsuka sighed, rolling her eyes.

"Give up trying to get him to use it, Sato. Instead, do you think you can thrash that yellow robot if you can get close?"

"I mean, maybe," the large-lipped boy replied. "Fat chance I can get close, though, because we got reds on the right and that thing has a LASER in his chest."

"That's why we need to draw its fire."

"How do you suppose we do that?" Juzo questioned. "We don't necessarily have a lot of ranged attackers in this group."

"Since Todoroki refuses to be useful," Rin added, side-eyeing the heterochromatic boy. "It's only me and any of you that think throwing rocks is a good idea."

"I'm pretty fast with my jumps," Tsuyu said. "That could help confuse it and the other robots around."

"I think you should focus on the reds, then. Work with Juzo to trip them up." "Got it, ribbit," Tsuyu replied, Juzo nodding in agreement.

"Rin and I will get the yellow's attention for Sato to charge in and take it out. Be sure to sugar up before then."

"Got it!" Sato gave a thumbs up.

"I'll follow your lead."

"Shouto, I need you to make ice barriers for us to hide behind." "I can do that."

"Good. On 'go', alright?"

Itsuka glanced at all her classmates, watching as each one nodded at her, starting from Rin, to Juzo, then Tsuyu, followed by Sato. After a couple moments of staring, Shouto finally nodded slowly, prompting Itsuka to nod herself.

"Alright..."

Her hands got large and formed into fists.

"GO!"

Chapter End Notes

The end of the first part of this exercise and things are just starting to turn in the heroes' favor as they make plans to counter the strong opponents... Well, except for Moe and Izuku. They were stuck with the easy opponents until Izuku was faced with those yellow ones. What will happen in the second part of this engagement? Only time will tell!
