The beam disappeared without a trace in front of me and my curiosity was bothering me a lot, after all that I couldn't stay sit to plan my way out of the South Pole so I packed everything to see what it was in person because such power in the right hands can put an end to the war, without looking back I left the ship and ran as fast as I could to my boat, as I cross with the brother's village I could see a few children and their mothers watching at the sky wondering is the beam was coming back, ones I reached the boat I put all my stuff and myself in place to depart in search of an unknown thing that could or not destroy my enemies.
"I hope is not that far" I thought out loud while pushing the sea water away with my rowing stick, it took me half a day to reach a field of nothingness with icebergs everywhere, I continue rowing until I saw an iceberg with a hole in the middle which for a lot of people it would look like something common but seen the shape and I could tell that form wasn't normal on a iceberg so I row again until I reach it and I got welcomed with a big footprint in the middle of the hole, 2 things came to my mind that moment… the first been that an ancient creature woke up and was nearby, the 2nd one was that the Avatar had return.
It was getting dark after a few moments on the iceberg with the print so I installed a little camp to stay there the night but since I couldn't find the responsible for the beam or the foot print I turn myself off, it took me and other half day to reach the village but when I saw the sky there was the remain of the flare that I installed in on the roof of the ship to see if someone was in there while I was training, them I saw the village in ruins so I approach to in order to see if they were injured or something.
"Is anybody hurt?" I shout out and a couple of women started to complain that it was fault of the Fire Nation and some stupid kid.
"Some men of the Fire Nation came to take the new kid" said a lady while picking up the fallen dry meat.
"Yeah! but they didn't need to destroy almost everything to take him" another lady said while fixing a tent.
After hearing that the old woman who sold me the food touch me by the back.
"Stranger, did you saw the blue beam yesterday?" She told me with eyes full of hope which she didn´t had when I pass through a few days early.
"The Avatar has return" I could not believe what she said that moment while my eyes fully opened in surprise.
"What? Are you sure? How do you know?" I was freaking out when I asked does questions.
"The Fire Nation came here, destroying everything but the young airbender choose to leave with them in order to leave us alone" she responded but I took in half the answer since I got lost when she said airebender.
"Where did they do? I must save him, NOW!" I asked but got interrupted by a mother who's kid was crying a lot because the Fire Nation scare him really bad.
