So... This is it, My first fanfic. I just wanted to say that I have been wanting to do this for a while and i even re-watched Naruto so i don't mess up some things. Before that i wanted to say

With this being said I hope you will like this and lets start the story
-Konohagakure-
We see a blonde boy who just woke up. His name is Uzumaki Namikaze Naruto. He doesn't know about the Namikaze part but that doesn't matter right now. The blonde is excited because today is the day where he becomes one step closer to being the Hokage, the blonde is becoming a genin today. The blonde gets up and makes ramen. The reason why he is having ramen for breakfast is because he cant get any other food and because he loves ramen. He sits down and he is weirded out by the dream he had last night
-DREAM-
Naruto woke up into a sewer and he would be wondering how the hell he got there. He feels a pull into a direction down a corridor and hears a voice. Kid follow my voice. Naruto was drawn to this and he did as he was told, he finally made it there and what he saw almost made him fall. He saw a giant red glaring eye but he somehow sensed no intent to kill from it. Kid I finally have reached out to you all these years, I wanted to start your training before but I guess the seal was too strong up until now. "W-WHO ARE YOU, WHERE AM I, WHY ARE YOU HERE". I am the Kyuubi Naruto and- "THE KYUUBI WHY ARE YOU HERE I THOUGHT THE FOURTH KILLED YOU". HUSH kid let
me explain, my name is Kurama and no the fourth can't kill me and no one can because I can not die from wounds and instead I can only die from using too much chakra since I am made out of pure chakra.
Before you talk let me explain everything, Your father the fourth hokage sealed me into you because I was in a Genjustu from a person called Uchiha Madara and i am here yo train you to become the fox sage also known as the summoner of foxes, you may now speak.
Naruto stood there in shock he just found out three important things. The fourth hokage was his father, the kyuubi was sealed into him and the kyuubi had a name? All of this was too much for him at a time, but a thought he had was of who his mother was. "Kurama who is my mother" Kurama was shocked that Naruto wasn't mad at him for attacking the village and everything else he had done but he told him.
Your mother was a women named Uzumaki Kushina and they are a really powerful clan that needed 3 villages to wipe them out making them the most if not one of the most feared clans that used to be here. Naruto after taking in all this information asked Kurama what he meant about training and how that would work. Kurama told him how time works in the mindscape and how they can stay here for as long as needed but that he shouldn't stay here for too long as cutting out all human interaction for really long periods of time can mess peoples brain up. After Naruto took this in he asked if there was a way to communicate out side of the mindscape. Kurama said yes but that he had to loosen the paper a little bit that is on the cage. Naruto ripped 1/4th of the corner off still not trusting Kurama too much then the dream ended there
-Present Time-
Naruto thought of how much of a weird dream it was and how it felt so real. then he heard a deep voice in his head that sounded familiar and it said. Kid it wasn't a dream, all of that really happened. Naruto then jumped out of his seat where he was eating his ramen and fell on the floor saying that he should be warned next time somehow. Kurama just laughed and told Naruto to hurry up so he can do the genin exams. "Oh yeah i forgot i need to hurry up and get dressed, thank you Kurama".
-Academy-
When Naruto arrived everyone was confused on how he got here on time unlike every single day but shrugged it off as it just being because of what day it is. Naruto sat down next to this girl he would call kind of weird but cute in her own way. Her name was Hinata Hyuga, when Naruto sat next to her she started blushing hard and said "H-How h-have y-you b-b-been N-Naruto-kun. Naruto gave her a big smile and said that he was alright while asking the same thing and she responded saying she was doing fine. Naruto's chunin instructor came with a white haired man named Mizuki and told the class to quiet down because they were going to start with the first test. After everyone quieted down the chunin instructor named Iruka told them the exams and what they have to do. Mizuki passed out the papers smiling when he passed Naruto's paper out.
When Naruto saw the paper Kurama told him that he sensed a genjutsu on the paper and told Naruto to hold out his hands and whisper kai while sending his chakra out. When Naruto did that a kids dog named Akamaru whimpered and another kids bugs started to get more frantic. Mizuki and Iruka felt this but thought none of it.
Naruto finished the test not thinking about why there was a genjustu on it and hoping he passed. When iruka got the paper back he was happy when he saw that Naruto got the exam correct and marked a on Naruto's test. When mizuki saw this he got angry but just hoped that he would fail all of the other tests. The class was outside right now about to do the next test. This test was kunai and shuriken throwing something that naruto was actually pretty good at considering that its one of the only things he can practice.
Everyone went up, and then it was naruto's turn. he threw the kunai and shuriken and got an 8/10 on the bullseye impressing everyone on how the dobe can score so high on anything. Next was stealth which Naruto passed with flying colors seeing what he did every once in a while, which is being that he pranks the village and runs away from jonin and almost every single time he gets away. After that was an obstacle course on which Naruto scored pretty high time on for the same reason as stealth. The second to last test was sparring and Naruto got some fodder person which he beat, not easily but it wasn't hard either. Naruto this whole time is wondering on how he improved at some things he couldn't improve on this fast and Kurama tells him its because he is giving him some of his chakra and mixing it with Narutos' thus making Naruto stronger. The final test is a jutsu test, the first jutsu is the henge no justu (transformation technique) and turns into a perfect clone of iruka. Next is the bunshin (clone justu) and it is a genjustu which Naruto is already bad at. He tries to make 2 clones and it fails Leaving two clones that look like they want to throw up.
"Sorry Naruto you failed". The whole class was laughing at Naruto but they didn't understand that Naruto isn't able to make a clone because he has too much chakra. He tells Iruka this and tells Naruto to come with him to the Hokage tower. When they get to the tower Iruka asks to see the hokage and the desk person gladly let him in while giving a glare at Naruto. In the room Iruka greeted the hokage and started to tell him the situation and the hokage named Hiruzen Sarutobi gave Naruto a scroll telling him to try out this justu. When Iruka was about the ask the kage gave him a look that told him to watch. When Naruto got the jutsu down in one try Iruka was shocked to see 10 different Narutos and asked Hiruzen how this was possible. Hiruzen told him that the clone technique took way too little chakra to the point where Naruto has too much chakra to even do it so he gave him a jutsu that takes up a decent amount of chakra. Iruka tells naruto that he passes and gives him his own headband that was on his forehead. Naruto was excited then iruka told him that they could go out to eat ramen not knowing the monster he had awoken.
-Next Day-
Naruto walked into the classroom and a kid with a gray jacket and a dog said "Naruto didn't you hear that only people who passed can come here". Naruto then said "If you paid more attention you wouldn't even be saying that in the first place, look at my forehead". Everyone in the class were shocked that the dobe actually managed to pass the genin exams. Naruto walked to his seat next to Hinata and asked the same question as yesterday with her saying she is fine. Iruka walks into the class and tells everyone to be quiet because they will be assigning teams today. Naruto blocked this out until he heard his name. "Team seven Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, And Hyuga Hinata, your jounin instructor will be Hatake Kakashi. At that Naruto smiled at Hinata while Hinata got an even deeper blush and Iruka moved on.
A few hours later and their jonin instructor came through the door hearing a thump on his forehead and seeing something pass his face. Naruto then bursted out in laughter with kakashi saying "My first impression on you guys... I don't like you. Telling them to meet him up on the roof. When they got up their Kakashi asked about their likes dislikes and hobbies. ( I am going to skip this part since you guys should already know it and i want to start getting into the good stuff) Kakashi tells them to meet up at training ground seven tomorrow so they can get tested for genin.
Before Naruto heads home he hears a voice in his head saying that they are going to start training tomorrow after the test to become genin
Again I am going to skip this part because all of it will go to canon and i really want to get into the good stuff
After Naruto got back home from his true genin exam Kurama instructs him to an area where no one else goes to. This area is also known as training ground 44. Here Kurama tells him to do some hand seals that aren't ordinary. He summons a golden scroll with a fox on it. Naruto opens the scroll and Kurama tells him to write his name in blood. Naruto is hesitant but bites his finger and does it, when that happened the scroll disappeared and Naruto got a blast of knowledge on how to summon different foxes with some weird kind of hand seals. But the only thing that really tells him is how to do the hand seals or at least that's all he can get out of it. Kurama tells him to do some hand seals and to summon a fox . Naruto is confused about this. Kurama then realizes that all naruto got out of those memories were the hand seals and not what order to summon the foxes
Kurama tells naruto the specific order and naruto first summons a tiny fox pup and this keeps on happening over and over again, until kurama tells naruto to really focus on his breathing and where the wind is blowing and his chakra and to also think about the features of the fox he wants to summon be. When naruto does this he summons a fox about half his size that starts speaking to him. "Hey your our new summoner huh? You kept summoning the pups of mother foxes and they are kind of mad at you but that's what ever. My name is Tora Uzumaki-sama". "Uh... Hi tora don't call me Uzumaki-sama just call me naruto i don't really like all of that formal stuff". "As you wish Naruto, what was your point of summoning me here today". Kid tell him that you want to start the training to become the fox sage and that you want a lower level fox to start off to be your partner. 'Ok Kurama'.
"Tora, I would like a lower leveled fox so i can start the fox sage training". "As you wish Uzumaki-san".
OK so first chapter down I'm sorry if it was kinda long but I just wanted to get all of that out of the way. I do admit that a lot of it is just canon and that's why i skipped some parts but this wont be happening in the future. It was just a starter so yeah I guess i'm happy about it i could have probably made it a little shorter but i had some time so i just went until i got kind of bored. But i feel free to tell me what you think every chapter wont be this long and yeah i hope you enjoyed at least a little next chapter is when we will get into all the training and all of that good stuff.
