An AU where Mirage is a femme and she and Cliffjumper are in love. The war is over Optimus Prime and Elita-1 are now happily bonded as are many of the couples. Mirage and Cliffjumper are newly engaged and making plans for their future much like many of their friends. Many of the Decepticons have turned from bad to good now that Megatron was gone. Now it was time for Cybertron to begin a new for everyone.
chapter 1
Mirage was glad to be back home on Cybertron with all her friends and was happy to see her family. She was glad to be back with Cliffjumper who she loved very much. She was going to introduce him to her parents. "I don't know Mirage after all I came from a middle class family who worked hard and I am a minibot I don't know if they would like me," Cliffjumper said.
"I know they will love you Cliffjumper, I love you," Mirage said.
"I love you too," Cliffjumper said.
So that day they went to Mirage's parents home. Mirage knocked on the door. A mech answered the door. "Miss Mirage, welcome," the butler said. "Who is this fine young man?" he asked.
"This my boyfriend Cliffjumper, I brought him to meet my parents" Mirage said.
"Nice to meet you Mister Cliffjumper." the butler said.
"Thank you," Cliffjumper said.
They went inside and sat down. Then to very prim looking bots came in. "Good to see you again our dear daughter," her mother said.
"My little girl," her father said hugging her.
"Mom and dad this is my boyfriend Cliffjumper both of us served under Optimus prime during the war, he may not be upper class but he is working hard and has been working on starting his own company and he is doing very well," Mirage told them.
"Charmed to meet you Cliffjumper what kind of company are you making young man?" Mirage's father asked.
"Well I am making a company that makes ships things around Cybertron things for your basic everyday Cybertronian pets, because when I was young my only friend was my pet Petro rabbit, and I wanted to give him the best stuff I could afford and I perferred to spend my allowance just on him and never on me I wanted to give him the best life possible but sometimes it was hard to carry all the things he needed and other times the store didn't always have what I needed so it made it hard sometimes to care for him. I remember how long he lived and how much I miss him, I know many Cybertronians are just like people and they care deeply for their pets and will pay a lot money for them and I want to make as many pet supplies and many kinds of the same pet supply available to all bots on Cybertron." Cliffjumper said.
"That's very fine, I hope you are doing a fair amount of research," her father said.
"I have and I am doing well and I have gained some business and good publicity and getting some employees even though things are small now I am starting to make a good amount of money and now I am really looking forward to finding a good building to model into our company building," Cliffjumper said.
"Maybe I can help you with that, I can tell from all the letters from my daughter you really do care for her and I would like to help, I have a large nice looking building I got in a merger so you can use it for your company," her father said.
"Thank you so much sir," Cliffjumper said.
Cliffjumper continued to work on his company and build it up and work on his new company building and warehouses and getting new hard working employees. During that time he proposed to Mirage.
Mirage was with her friends. She showed them her ring. "Such a small jewel I wouldn't agree to marry a guy like that," one of her friends said.
"He's making a company and I am glad he is investing and saving money to use to build his company and my parents and I are very proud of my fiancé," Mirage said. "His parents are even prouder of him for doing so well," she said.
"Come on my fiancé got me this ring check out how big the jewel is it is one of the most expensive you can buy," her friend said.
"Come on now no need to show off," Mirage said.
"You really change since you came back from being at war it's like you lost your appreciation for the most luxurious things in life." her friend said and a couple of her friends agreed.
"Come on guys now leave Mirage alone she's got a great guy you know it's hard to find a good guy in the upper class with as much heart and loyalty as her boyfriend Cliffjumper I met him and got know him he is a great bot," one of her friends said.
Then Cliffjumper came up. "High darling I am so happy to see you," he said. "Guess what? My company has taken off it's huge success now, I am so glad you stuck by me and believed in me," he said.
"I am so happy for you," Mirage said hugging him.
"I got something for you," Cliffjumper said and pulled out a beautiful ring with a large jewel and outlined with smaller ones.
"Oh Cliff," Mirage said. "I was fine with the old ring." she said.
"I know but I wanted to get ring to show you how much you mean to me," Cliffjumper said. "So how about I try this again Mirage will you be my sparkmate?" he asked.
"Yes," Mirage said.
Then Cliffjumper placed the new ring on Mirage's finger and she hugged him.
The wedding planning was going well. It was so exciting. The big day was nearly upon them.
They finished the last minute details and everything was finally ready.
The morning of the wedding Mirage was getting ready for it. Cliffjumper was getting ready himself. Everything was now ready and it was starting.
Things were getting very exciting. Cliffjumper was standing at the altar. Then Mirage was walking down the aisle with her father. He gave her to Cliffjumper. The wedding was starting. The priest went over everything.
"Cliffjumper do you take Mirage as your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold, in good times and bad times? Till death do you part?" the priest asked.
"I do," Cliffjumper said.
"Mirage do you take Cliffjumper as your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold, in good times and bad times? Till death do you part?" the priest asked.
"I do," Mirage said.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride," the priest said.
Cliffjumper and Mirage kissed and were very happy indeed.
During the reception was a good time too. Cliffjumper and Mirage danced together and were very happy.
Then it came time for them to leave on their honeymoon.
Cliffjumper and Mirage were looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
Once coming back from their honeymoon Mirage's folks were nice enough to help them find a place to live. All their stuff was moved into their house. They even hired them some help a butler.
Mirage was comfortable with the arrangements but it took Cliffjumper a little getting use too. But he loved his wife and it wasn't that bad.
Both of them were very happy together and hoped their lives would be good and be together no matter what they faced.
