The day of devotion was by all means Anna's favorite holiday. And not because she made a killer sale every day before the event, though that was part of the reason. It was because on this day, her husband and kids would spoil her.
Anna was a woman of principles, she ran a shop, looked after her home, made dinners for her husband and kids, and was the emotional heart of their tiny family. So of course with all the sacrifices she made through out the years, Anna deserved one day to be spoiled by her husband and kids. And Robin was just that man.
Ah Robin Daraen, the great tactician of the shepherds, the man who stole many hearts of ladies, and the slayer of Grima. Every day of devotion for the past decade, robin had taken her out to a lovely dinner and given her the best of gifts. How Anna landed with him as her husband, she'll never know.
And right now, she just got finished wrapping up her perfect present for the man she loved. After all, Robin was the financial weight of their family, therefore he deserved just as much as a good gift as she did.
"Well looks like everything is complete." Anna smiled as she placed the tip of her finger on her chin. "And without a moment to spare. I can't wait for what my kids have planned for me."
Just then, the door to her home slammed opened and a teary eyed Morgan walked in with her twin brother, Marc, trying to comfort.
"It's not that bad, Morgan." Marc tried to reason with his twin but was no use as she ran from his grasp.
"I hate boys!" She threw her backpack on the ground and ran up the stairs and into her room, slamming it shut.
"What happened?" Anna asked her son as she walked up to him.
"Well you know how our school was planning a small party for us students today?" Marc told Anna as she nodded at him. "Well there was this boy Morgan wanted to dance with today, but he chose another girl. She then ran out crying. And I had just achieved a pity dance from Severa when Morgan decided to flee."
Placing a hand on her 12 year old, Anna sighed. "You are far from ever to get a pity dance, my love." She smiled at him. "What are we gonna do about Morgan."
"Well what happens when your sisters went through this?" Marc asked.
"Well normally when me or my sisters were heartbroken, our dad would always cheer us up." Anna explained. She then got to thinking. Morgan acted a lot like her. While Morgan's preferred taste was tactician, which was such a shame since Anna knew both of her children would make great merchant, she didn't inherit her attitude. Plus she was a daddy's girl.
"I've got it!" Anna snapped her fingers.

When Robin got home, Anna told him all about what happened. He agreed with her, Marc was too good for a pity dance. But he wasn't too sure about Anna's plan.
"Are you sure about this?" Robin rubbed the back of his neck. He and his wife were in their bedroom, discussing her plan to him "I kinda wanted to spoil you today."
"You spoiled me enough last night, tiger!" Anna cupped his chin, making robin blush a little. "Our daughter needs you to comfort her."
"Alright." Said robin. "But I'm still giving you your present. You're gonna love it."
"And you too." Anna kissed Robin before he left their bedroom.

In her bedroom, Morgan had clutched her pillow close to her chest as she's cried her eyes out.
"S-stupid Inigo!" Morgan wept. "Who needs him!"
It was no secret that Morgan had a crush on Inigo, despite how much her father hated the idea of his little girl having a crush. Morgan knew she was too young to feel heartbreak, but it still hurt mom the less. Just then she heard a knock on the door.
"Hey Morgan, it's your papa!" Robin said from the outside. "Can I come in?"
"Sniff, go right ahead." Morgan grumbled as robin opened the door.
Robin simply looked at his little girl. His angel. While Robin wasn't a fan of the overprotective father thing Chrom did his daughters, he had to admit, seeing Morgan crying did make him a little mad at the kid who broke it.
Sitting down gently on Morgan's bed next to her, Robin placed a hand on her shoulder. "I know how hard it is to feel a heartbreak." said Robin. "But trust me, it gets better."
"But how?" Asked Morgan. "It's day of devotion. And I don't have a devotee to spend it with."
"Whiles it's true it may suck not to have a devotee," started robin "but it will get better. You're 12 Morgan, you're still a little girl. My little girl, and such, you shouldn't have to worry about who you're devotee will be just yet." Robin then held out his hand to Morgan.
She held it as she received a kiss from her father on the cheek as she smiled. "Thanks daddy."
"Thanks." Said robin. He then got up and said "would the great and mighty Morgan Daraen Like to accompany me on a dinner tonight."
"Are you sure? What about mommy?" Asked Morgan.
"Your mother thinks it's a good idea for me to take you out for a little father-daughter time." Said Robin. "What'll you say."
Morgan smiled as she wiped the tears from her eyes and hugged Robin tightly.
"Come on, I have just the place." Said Robin as he led her to their destination.

When they got there, Morgan was greeted at the sight of the fanciest restaurant in Yissitol. So fancy that it would seem impossible to just waltz right in.
"Daraen for two!" Robin said to the hostess as she led him and Morgan to their table.
When they were seated Morgan simply looked at Robin in awe. Just how did he managed to get them a table at a place this fancy? Was it because of his connections to the royal family?
"Daddy, how did you manage this?" Asked Morgan.
"Let's just say I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve." Robin answered, remembering booking this reservation 2 weeks in advance for a romantic night between him and his wife. But little Morgan didn't need to know that. "After why not pull out the big guns to spoil my little princess."
The waiter came in soon as the father and daughter gave them their orders. Robin ordering grilled bear steak, while Morgan ordering a grilled salmon. It was the bestest, most delicious meal Morgan had had in her adolescent life. Okay she may have exaggerated a little.
Once the waiter came to take plates away, Robin ordered a slice of chocolate cake. At first Morgan thought they were going to share the slice, but was surprised when Robin gave the entire thing to her.
"This entire cake slice is for me?" Asked Morgan.
"Knock yourself out, girl." Robin said.
Morgan gently put her fork away... and started scarfing down on the cake slice, trapping every piece of it and stuffing it in her mouth until it disappeared into the void that was Morgan's stomach. While both of the tactician twins were massive eaters, Morgan definitely preferred to scarf her food down rather than savor it like Marc.
Once she was all done, she simply patted her tummy and sighed. "Best meal ever!"
"Happy day of devotion my love." Robin smiled at Morgan.
"Thanks daddy." Said Morgan. "That cake really helped lift my spirits."
Just then, the two saw several couples going to the dance floor to dance. Morgan smile until Robin held out his hand to her. Eyes going wide, she took his hand as he gently led her to the dance floor.
With the slow music playing, Morgan hoped on Robin's feet as he led their dance. Though Morgan wasn't as light as she used to be, with her getting older and all, Robin found it a little difficult to move with her standing on his feet. But he managed non the less.
Robin simply smiled whilst he danced with his daughter. His little girl.

At her home, Anna was having a nice peaceful dinner with Marc, as he kept talking about tactics.
"And then, with my suppior intellect, I managed to beat my professor at his own game." Said Marc. "It's good to be a chess master."
"Oh Marc, if only you'd be a merchant." Sighed Anna. "The amount of tactics it would take to be a successful merchant would feed that ego of yours."
"Ha, thank you, but tactics is my true calling." Said Marc. "That and bugs."
Anna simply smiled at her son. Just then Marc handed her a present. "Here mother, I made it for you."
"Anna opened the present and her widened in joy. A small teddy bear. The one she held on the hilt of her sword, but slightly bigger. "Oh Marc, you shouldn't have."
"It was nothing mother. After all, Morgan and I put our blood, tears, and sweat into that bear." Said Marc.
"Well I happily accept it." Said Anna.
Just then the door opened traveling to be Robin walking in while carrying, who was Morgan sleeping on his shoulder.
"How come you don't carry me like that anymore?" Marc questioned.
"Honey, you're too big for me to carry!" Anna frowned. "I'm weak compared to robin."
"C'mon buster time for you to go to sleep." Robin picked up his son and carried him to his bedroom.
"Hey, you really are freakishly strong!" Marc commented as Robin carried him and his sleeping sister to their bed rooms.
Laughing at the scene in front of her, Anna got to work cleaning up the kitchen. It took some doing, scrubbing the plates, then drying them and putting them away, but once all said and done, she marveled at her work.
Anna may not be a princess, or a noble, but she was queen in her home.
Just then she felt a pair of masculine hands go around and hug her from behind.
"You were right, Anna, it did work." Smiled Robin.
"Told you." Said Anna. "Sometimes, all a girl needs is her daddy to tell her how better off she is without a man."
Robin laughed at her comment. It seemed like so long since he saw the future Morgan. Saw her get married and have kids of her own. Wherever she's off, robin hoped she's at least happy with her life.
Speaking of being happy, Robin let go of Anna so he can get out his present to Anna. "Here you go my love."
Opening the present, Anna saw the most beautiful necklace ever assembled. "Oh Robin, this is amazing."
"Fourteen pieces of diamonds on this necklace." Said robin. "One for each year I've ever loved you."
"But Robin, we've only been together for 13 years." Said Anna.
"Well the fourth is for the upcoming year." Robin blushed. Helping her out, Robin put the necklace around Anna's neck as she looked into a small mirror to admire it.
"Thank you Robin, you really do like to spoil me." Said Anna.
"Only for the best girl." Smiled robin.
Anna then got out a small Preston and handed it to Robin. "Open it up."
Unwrapping the present, robin saw something odd. Baby clothes. "Honey, these are baby clothes." He gave an odd look.
Smiling sheepishly, Anna waved both hands on the air. "SURPRISE! We're gonna have another merchant in our family."
Robin, while smiling, lifted Anna off the grown and started to twirl her around while she was giggling. Kissing his cheek repeatedly, Anna couldn't be happier for Robin's reaction.
"Happy day of devotion my love." Said Anna.
Robin simply smiled as he carried her to their bedroom for a little more celebration.
