AN: Believe it or not but I tried to shorten interaction with the turtles and their lovers moments. To begin such things as actions and mutations; Which Turtle universes always have. But all their bonds need to develop right for the story to keep going. Therefore to the ones who want actions to begin sooner. I'm sorry, for that want occurs until later.

Chapter 12: Nightclub Immortal part One
Out of all the coated property the organization has in its procession within New York. The nightclub Immortal must be the one coated the best. Especially due to all the details that mask the club. Starting with the building disguised as a fortune cookie factory. And the thick security fence encasing the entire property. However, what makes this conceal property the best coated. Is the coating gives an illusion of a working factory, from the during the day trucks and workers coming back and forth through the gates and an additional security guard stationed inside the gates?
However, the reason for the anime display illusion is oddly done to the criminals within NY don't bother making a with working factory a hideout unless of course, they own it like the mob. Thereby the anime coating has kept Immortal hidden and disguised under the Purple Dragon and the mob's radar. Not to mention, for cautions, their unseen force field outside the property about a mile long that gives off a silent alarm if any of the gangs are close by even, recently, Khan and his gang. Whereby this alarm goes off it activates the illusion display to change from anime workers to cop cars within the property to scare off the said gang in the area; which has worked several times, so far. After all, no true criminal once to bother a place that cops occupied constantly.
And as such. Nobody outside the organization is aware a nightclub resides beneath the factory. Then again, the only entrance into the club is the Foot's subway trains through their secret tunnels. Making it nearly impossible to reach without being a member of the organization. Yet the ones, privilege, to wear a travel bracelet also can reach the club. Like the Foot leader, Karai did earlier before her, Angel and their newer members and guest entered the club.
Although the décor and design were luxuries from the modular lounge seating seats and sofas, to the LED light panel ceilings and dance floor to the light up bar station, stools, and eating chairs and tables. Including the big DJ booth room at the back of the dance floor was lite up in orange color, matching the black/white dancing floor, not to mention the LED rails that separated the dance floor from the seating areas around the club. Made Immortal seem like any other kind of club.
Yet the multiple trays with robotic arms flying around serving and taking orders from customers of the club. Told the turtle brothers and April that Immortal wasn't your everyday nightclub.
But like any club. Immortal has its own VIP area. However, the area is actually at the top level of the club. And since this special VIP seating area was only for members high up like Karai and now the turtle brothers. It's furnished like a lovely living room with a large white button-tufted U shape booth and wooden table (that seats up to 12 people if need be) as the biggest furniture in the area. And with entrance stairs and a simply dim lite LED rail around the VIP area, helps this area be separated from the rest of the club. While, with the railing of the upper level, gave a deck view of the club, especially the dance floor and front entrance of the club.
But like any VIP area needs. With a guard station below the entrance stairs. The special guests will keep their privacy, especially since nobody can enter this level without getting approval by the special guest through a phone inside the VIP area that's a link to the guard's cellphone; like a secretary outside their boss's office.
It's in this VIP level that Karai and her group was station once arriving. Of course, everybody within the club was taken by surprise to see not only the new join Hamato brothers enter Immortal. But both Karai and her sister Angel along with them. Since the two haven't shown up until tonight.
Fortunately looking forward to dancing then paying mind to the onlookers watching them. Leo, Karai, April, and Don took the dance floor like pros. And for a while, the two couples were enjoying themselves.
However sooner than Leo and Don wanted. Karai and April ended their dancing with them to pull Angel out on the dance floor to dance with. For unlike Karai and April and their turtle boyfriends. Angel couldn't share a dance with Mikey. Because the youngest turtle brother claim he couldn't dance as soon as they all settle in the VIP seating. And even if Angel knew he been lying. She didn't question it and instead stay at the table until her two sisters' coach her out onto the dance floor.
Resulting in, as the three sisters dance and sing together from the different music playing. Several members watching them while commenting either on how sexy or hot they looked or wanted to sexually do acts to them. Mainly Karai despite she's their leader.
That's why while Don's busy lecturing Mikey for ruining his time with April. Leo continued hearing between what Don's saying and the closer members, below them, comments about his girlfriend and the two girls he sees as sisters, hasn't waved his eyes from Karai since she left his side.
Mikey, meanwhile, wishing Don would quit fussing at him, was looking over the digital menu station on the table. But even if he looks to be checking out the non-alcoholic drinks on the screen. Mikey's been occupied in inner thoughts doing with him regretting lying a second after he claims he couldn't dance. Mostly once seeing the hurt take up Angel's face before she replaces it with a fake smile saying, "That's fine, Michelangelo. I was mostly looking forward to the fruit smoothies here than dancing."
Unfortunately, like the entire group, Mikey knew she been lying, despite she happily took advantage of the VIP perks such as all food and drinks are on the house. Nonetheless, of this one perk, Mikey remains disappointed in himself for his coward actions.
Furthermore, even if the others didn't see it, Mikey notices her smile didn't reach her face when Karai and Angel pulled her out to dance with them. Causing him, now but slowly, figured maybe Angel did like him a bit more than friends. However, thinking this, the turtle can't rub off the doubt that's filled his heart and a voice telling him he might be looking too much into Angel's friendly actions. Especially when he accepted his brothers might be on a date with their girlfriends. But because he and Angel are like the third wheel in the group. They weren't on a date just friends hanging out.
"All I want to know. Is if you were against coming here. Why come?"
Hearing this and the tone Don was now using. Mikey couldn't help looking away from the digital menu screen he'd been staring at since Angel left with her sisters, to Don blinking his eyes.
"Angel would have been alone. I didn't wanna do that to her. We're friends." Although this wasn't what Mikey wanted to say. It's what left his lips.
Causing Don to shake his head, annoyed. "Mikey you can't be that thick. Anyone can see Angel has feelings for you. Even love-"
"Yeah right," scoffed Mikey cutting off Don. "You, Leo and Raph might got lucky in finding someone to love and love you back." Feeling doubtful Mikey drops his sight from his smart brother to the surface of the table. But before going on speaking. He crosses his arms then sits back against the booth's cushion leather. "But I lucked out. Me and Angel will never be anything but friends."
Resist growling, instantly Don falls back against the booth himself before pulling out his and April's shared lab tablet and starts busying his mind on another incomplete project blueprints. But in progress of doing all this. Don says, "I give up. You right now, are as stubborn and thick-headed as Raph. So, I'm done convincing what's there, but you don't want to see."
And with the smart turtle lost in a project. It was like he wasn't even there. Leaving the oldest and youngest turtle brothers at the booth.
Yet unknown to Mikey, though his eyes not once moved from Karai's movements on the dance floor. Leo inwardly sighs.
Although he got Don's anger, for himself was mad at ending his dancing with his girlfriend early. Leo still understood where Mikey was coming from. Since he also feared someone as beautiful and incredible as Karai could love someone like him or specifically his appearances. Not to mention if he hasn't fear rejection those years back. He knew him and Karai would have been an item now, despite the relationship would have been behind his family's back. Then again, if not thanks to the growing telepathic link between them and Karai sharing her memories with him. Leo probably would be skeptic about his relationship with Karai even now. Instead of, though feeling very protective of her, has no doubt or fear of their devotion to each other.
Yet even though Mikey 's unsure Angel could ever have romantic feelings for him. It's clear to all them including Leo himself. That Angel's head over heels in love with the youngest Hamato brother. And as such. Leo's going to do the thoughtful thing. And make it clear to his baby brother of Angel's feelings… sort of.
That's why, even if his eyes remain on Karai dancing, Leo opens his mouth.
"Baby bro, I'm gonna say this once and once only. You will never know what's between you and Angel. If don't try to find out. Who knows, you might be surprised at what you find."
Slowly by then, Mikey's eyes shift to Leo. And although his elder brother's eyesight hasn't budged from the dance floor. He understood now.
Fear or not. Angel's worth fighting his fear to see what they can be. "Thanks, Bro." after saying this. Mikey slips underneath the table to only a second later stand facing the entire booth. Actions causing Don to break from his tablet looking at a smiling Mikey who's staring at Leo regardless the said turtle didn't move his view from his still dancing girlfriend.
"You always know what to say to get me to face my fears," Mikey added before taking to the wide staircase, leading to the lower level of the club.
It's as Mikey comes into Leo's view on the dance floor heading toward the three sisters who are in the middle of talking instead of dancing. Don's voice reaches his hearing.
"I thought you were occupied watching Karai to even know Mikey and I were in conversations."
"Just cause my eyes were on something else and not you two. Doesn't mean I couldn't hear you." Regardless his words weren't rude in any way. Having his eyes still on the dance floor or more importantly Karai the entire time he's speaking with Don. Didn't bold well with the smart turtle. In fact, it increased his dislike toward his brother and Karai in a relationship. Despite Don still can't put his finger on why he's uncomfortable with the two together beyond friends.
Nevertheless, of his unsure dislike towards them. Don inwardly frowns at the side of Leo's head. "Well, you could of jump in sooner. Less a headache for me."
"I could of…." Was all Leo said before he rose up from the booth. It's only then Don realize Karai and April coming up to the upper level heading towards them.
Unfortunately, by the time April reaches the table. Leo, who rush pass the red-haired a second ago, encase Karai in an embrace before meeting her into a kiss. Actions causing Don rolling his eyes, groan annoyingly at the scene.
However, seeing once again Don openly showing his dislike toward the couple. April pretending to be unaware of his dislike for Leo and Karai. Slips in the booth beside him while taking the forgotten tablet on the table in her grasp.
"I see you analyze a way to use the crystals in this project also." Already knowing his brain was working up a process way to explaining his findings to her. April openly grins at her boyfriend explaining how they can not only break up the crystals for one project to work, but also liquefied and covered over an Utrom-made machine doing with a second project resulting in the project being a success. And though she squeals before hugging and kissing Don for the findings. April was also pleased she could still have the turtle focus on her instead of the couple, whom not joining them at the table yet were still showing public affection nearby.

In the middle of dancing and singing along with the music with Angel and April. Karai being aware of the beautiful but strong eyes on her since leaving his side. Was enjoying Leo's protected sight on her every move. For some reason, after being one who hates to be overprotected, she couldn't understand why knowing Leo is becoming more protected over her. Thrilled her. In fact, despite she's loving dancing almost in-sync with Angel and April to 1,2 Step by Clara with Missy Elliot the DJ's playing. She can't deny some moves were sexy so Leo could see them. Regardless she has unwanted attention on her from the moves, which she didn't care. For her sexy moves were for her boyfriend and him alone.

Growing up as the kid who always had her face in a book or behind a beaker. April wasn't the social type. However, her sister Robin was a different story. For she was so social and popular in school, she had boys running after her, the one everybody wanted to be friends with. In fact, with her and Robin being so different. April thought for years growing up that they weren't sisters. And even though it took until April was in college before she made some friends and she stops believing her and Robin weren't sisters.
The red-haired couldn't grasp that compare to her college friends and Robin. Angel, Joi and now Karai seems more family to her. In fact, calling either one sister seems to slip from her lips easier than she ever said it toward Robin. Not to mention beyond the sister bond she's found herself created with each girl, including Karai. April's never been happy and belongs so much to a group of girlfriends' like now with Karai and Angel. Although she felt that same way around the mall shopping with Joi. Nonetheless, of all this, April was missing her time with Don.

Without words between them. April matches step by step with Karai and Angel as they continue dancing to the upbeat song. But it's when the DJ shifts to another song; Rihanna – Pon de Replay, and dancers were taking a breather. April along with Karai stares, shockingly as Mikey walks up and faces a surprise, Angel.
"Mikey?" saying nothing the silent turtle takes Angel's hand.
"Angel uh, can we, you know… dance?"
"But Mikey you said-"
"I know, I know." Before continuing Mikey swallows the lump in his throat. "I can dance. But I didn't lie."
"You didn't?" questions Angel in puzzlement. Mikey shakes his head.
"I can dance. But don't know how to with a partner."
Reading he's more than nervous to admit this to her. Angel lightly squeezes the hand holding hers.
"In that case." Smiling warmly, Angel pulls the lost turtle off to the side so others can dance as the next song started. "I'll be happy to be your teacher." She adds before moving his right hand in her grasp to rest against her waist and taking his left one into hers while resting her other upon the upper part of his arm. "Now just follow my steps…."
Although they were clearly forgotten about by their sister as she teaches the young turtle to dance with a partner. Karai and April didn't mind as they happily rush for the VIP seating area and their waiting boyfriends. That's after Karai request the DJ, named Victor; who's normally his Utrom self. But using his disguise body, he looks like an average lean size human with his light complexion skin, messy dark shoulder-length blonde hair, and midnight blue color eyes. Play a single CD she brought. But play it only once Angel and Mikey return to the dance floor.
Thereby, after she was sure Mikey could dance with a partner and pulled the full-out nervous turtle back to the dance floor. Angel became puzzled when Stickwi-u by The Pussycat Dolls was instantly shut off despite it haven't even begun its second verse. Yet as Angel turned toward the DJ booth room's viewing glass to see the DJ Victor.
His smooth voice came over the speakers within the club. "Sorry for ending that song short. But I was requested to play this CD single I have. And since I'm familiar with the song I'll be playing. I'm asking all solo dancers to leave the floor for this time. For this slow song is a couple only."
Not long after Victor spoke that. Angel's eyes slowly widen. For the recent crowded dance floor became more open and emptier as one by one solo dancers left the floor. However once dancers stop leaving and Angel saw only two couples, besides her and Mikey, left on the dance floor. The teen finds herself getting scared enough to forget about dancing and run back to the VIP area.
"Wow without that many dancers," That's until she notices, in the corner of her eye, Mikey as he's talking. "you can see the dance floor's bigger than before." Putting up a brave front and remain holding her hand, despite clearly, he's still heavily nervous by his tone of voice being shaky.
Seeing this and reminding herself not only was she getting a chance to dance with Mikey and share this moment together. But the sweet turtle's fighting off his fears to give her this dance. Thereby Angel bravely gives Mikey's hand a slight squeeze, before answering him while turning to face him. "I was thinking the same thing." Earning her one of Mikey's true smiles, causing her to return with her own. "Anyway, do you remember what I taught you?"
Remain smiling but not saying nothing yet. Mikey gently raised their held hands up until them in an outreach pose, while he rested his other hand against the upper part of Angel's back. "That answer you?" He says, wearing a smirk.
Knowing her cheeks are becoming warm by, though cocky, Mikey's charming smirk and words. Angel quickly avoids looking up at him as she places her unused hand on the upper part of his arm. "Um, yes. But when the song plays, you're leading. Just remember-"
"I know, I know. Move with the slow beat of the music. The same way I do with other faster music." Mikey cuts in and winks down at her when Angel lifts her eyes to his only to lower them again. Yet Mikey lightly chuckles at Angel's sudden shyness.
Oddly, do to her shyness, Mikey was feeling his nervous fading, making him seem more like himself. Despite he's about to slow dance with Angel and still unsure if she feels the same way as him.
Meanwhile, as if Victor had been waiting for them to get in a partnering dance position, to the two. The DJ starts the song. And by the beginning of the all-too-familiar melody playing. Angel became a puzzle while instantly lifting her head back up. Actions almost having Mikey halt in starting their dance.
"Uh, Angel. You ok?" Hearing the concern in his voice has Angel breaking from her shock expression at realizing what song was leaving the speakers. To, unshyly, meet her eyes with Mikey's while they move to the melody.
Knowing the lyrics was coming. Angel simply nods up to Mikey saying, "I'm fine. Just really love this song. I heard it right after you gave me your turtle hero doll to keep me safe." Though blushing, Angel keeps eye-contact with Mikey's baby blues. "Although the lyrics didn't make sense until a couple of months ago." Unsure if what she said gave the turtle any hint or not. Angel ends her explaining to sing along as the artist's heavenly voice filled the club.

Nearly losing his step at hearing Angel sing along with the artist with not just her lovely voice matching the singer. But her eyes not once waving from his. Mikey couldn't overlook that he been fearing something that was never there. Accepting what his brothers been telling him. The turtle, warmly smiling at the teen, fell in step with the music, mostly as the bass of drums came into play.

Even though she was a bit surprised when Mikey started moving and swaying them around the floor without hitting other couples. She never stops singing while keeping eye-contact with him. Despite her heart was racing.

By now the two, unafraid, were dancing closer. Angel's arms were hanging loosely around Mikey's neck, while his hands wrapped loosely around her lower back. With lowering it, Mikey's forehead was resting against Angel's. Their eyes lock with the other. Although they were this close. Angel kept in line with the song.

Explains April after finishing an online chat with said Leatherhead. Only to cut herself off at seeing her turtle boyfriend wasn't even listening to what she was saying. Instead, he was glaring over the table at Leo and Karai who were currently in the middle of gazing into each other's eyes, lovingly. In fact, from what April knows. They have been staring like that since they sat down, which was a while ago.
After shutting off the tablet and taking a sip from their shared fruit drink to keep from frowning at Don. April reaches a handover and placing it aside to the smart turtle's cheek. Slowly turns his face until his eyes meet hers. Grabbing his attention once again, April softly smiles. "Since two of the projects are in the test mode as we speak." Remain to talk, April leans into Don, with her lips moving closer to his. "I think we two earn a reward…" with his eyes not leaving hers, they were only a breath from kissing. "After all, we are on a date." Done saying that, April finally lock their lips into a passionate kiss.
And for a while, the two couples were occupied by each other. That's until the guard calls up to inform Karai that the club manager wanted to speak with her about the club. Where Karai allowing the manager to come up, it wasn't long until April and Don chose to return to the dance floor.

"So, my bros and the girls aren't the only ones on a date." Exclaim Mikey confidently. After dancing a while and more than a couple of songs played. The youngest turtle brother decided to take a chance and ask the question he been wanted to know since Don reveals to him back at the tower that he and Angel are on a date despite Mikey's early doubts on the matter.
Despite her heavy blushing, Angel didn't move her eye contact with his as they sway around with more upbeat base music, though it is still a love song.
"Before I say yes. I want you to know, that I knew you have deep feelings for me. And even though I feel the same way and wanted to confess as soon as we were alone. But catching you were uncomfortable if not awkward around me. I knew I needed to remind you we're still friends above all. That's why I decided to hold back my confession and instead, wait patiently for you to be ready to tell me your feelings without risking our friendship. To be honest, there's nobody else I rather give my heart to than you."
"Wait? You're heart?!" Though he heard every word Angel confess and was more than sure the first song they dance to that she sang to him help him think Angel like him more than a friend. But Mikey, with all he is, couldn't truly grasp that this wonderful, beautiful young woman could be really in love with him, despite he accepts enough they were on a date together. But deeper than a crush for him. Impossible!
That's why his feet halt in moving and drawled back from Angel before questioning her. "How could someone like me have your heart? You're Beautiful! You don't need to settle for someone like me!"
Yes, he shouted that and nearly everybody in range heard him and were now glued to them. But Angel wasn't paying any attention to the onlookers. Her serious eyes remain on the turtle as did his words.
" Hamato Michelangelo, I fell in love with you. So, I didn't settle, you idiot." Not pausing in speaking, Angel walks the small distance from her to him where they're one inch away from the other. "What gave you the idea I was settling?" Just when Angel makes the one-inch space from them disappear. Mikey starts to step back again. That's until Angel takes his hand, stopping him from moving away again.
It's in that second Mikey trails his sight to where Angel's gripping a bit his hand with hers, that the turtle's already seeing frown becomes deeper. Here Mikey shuts his eyes tight to halt the already fill tears that wanted out. "Even this idiot sees you can do better." Opening his eyes because the burn in them, Mikey remains holding his sight on only his hand she still held in her hand. His green three finger hand to her soft human hand. "Like your names say, you're an Angel. And I'm a mo-"
Too lost in speaking about his insecurities of being a mutant and anyone seeing him anything romantically. Nearly yelp when Angel hall-off and hit him upside the head with her free hand.
"Hey! Why you do that?!" Without thinking about it, Mikey used his free hand to rub the probably bump on his head. Nonetheless of her actions toward him. Angel didn't feel a bit sorry. In fact, she was angry.
Resisting from dropping her grip to his hand, Angel, still using her free hand, pointed a finger at Mikey. "One. I never and I mean never want to hear you call yourself monster or anything in that matter. Because you not that and you never were. Two. You are more than better for me. You're everything I want in the man I love. You're kind-hearted, funny, strong, smart and make me happy when I wanna be sad, my best friend. And the most beautiful blue eyes I ever saw. And you being handsome, well that's a bonus for me. All in all, you're the total package. So, three. Do not tell me who I love. That's me to decide and nobody else but me."
She really loves me…. And thinks I'm handsome?! Thought Mikey. Yes, sure he heard every compliment she said about him. But hearing she's attracted to him. Made his heart fluttering in his chest as his tears, finally but slowly, leave his eyes. "You really mean that you really love me. For me?"
Angel responses by raising the same hand she been holding, to the side of her face before turning her face to the palm and kissed it. This only increased the warmth coursing through his body. "All of you, my Mickey."
For the first time since his brother started calling him that name as an insult. Mikey never imagines he ever loves being called that until now. "Then," With his hand still against her face, Mikey stroke her cheek, lovingly. "can I…" throwing any insecurities or doubt out the window. Mikey, raising his other hand to cup Angel's face, leans his face down until his lips are a breath from hers. "Kis- Mmmmm."
Clearly picking up what he was thinking. Angel couldn't wait any more when Mikey was in reach for her lips to meet his. Lucky the turtle wasn't bothered for getting cut off. Not with experiencing his first kiss. And what a kiss. From the electricity awaken in their bodies by their lips meeting, to them unconsciously wrapping their arms around each other; hers around his neck, and his around her waist.
