Hello again everyone! So these are just one shots, maybe two shots of one of the avengers just keeping a big or small secret or secrets from the team and then the others find out. Vampire
Bruce is a vampire and no one knows this. But then when they find out he is sneaking out of the tower every few days they decide to follow him. And then they find out what he is and he has to explain everything to them.
"Ahhh..." Bruce groaned in pain as he laid on his bed in his room in the tower
Then he looked out the window, and then at his clock which read 12:38 am, and he closed his blood red eyes as he held his stomach in pain. Then after a couple moments Bruce opened them and got up from where he was lying on his bed. And then he went to the door and opened it and looked around, and then went to the elevator and went out of the tower.
Scene switch to Bruce walking in a forest
Bruce looked around and listened for anything, and then his head turned quickly to a twig snapping and he slowly and quietly walked over to the noise to see a dear eating some grass. Then Bruce ran and jumped at the deer and tackled it, and then he sunk his teeth into it's neck and drank down it's blood
"Ah..." Bruce groaned after a minute as he pulled away and wiped the blood from his mouth, and then when he was done he hid the deer carcass and got back to the tower
Time switch to a few days later in the tower
"Morning Bruce." Tony said as Bruce walked into the kitchen
"Morning Tony." Bruce replied as he slowly walked over to the fridge and opened the door and got out the milk
"Clint just made pancakes. Do you want some." Tony stated
"Sure." Bruce said as he rubbed his eyes
"How many?" Clint asked
"Uh...one's fine." Bruce replied as he poured himself some milk
"Okay." Clint said, and then he put a pancake on a plate for Bruce and put it on the counter "Here."
"Thanks." Bruce said as he sat down and then started to eat
"Anyone want more?" Clint asked after a few moments as he held up a plate with a ton of pancakes on it
"No. Why did you make so many?" Tony asked
"I'm so used to Thor being here." Clint stated "I made a lot of pancakes because he usually eats a lot. But I forgot that he left back to Asgard so..."
"Yeah. I'm used to him being here too." Tony said "I accidentally bought twenty more packages of pop tarts for the week because I forgot that he left. So we're going to have to eat all of them."
"Or we could just shout to the sky, hey Thor we have pop tarts for you! Do you want some? Because he always looks or shouts to the sky whenever he goes back to Asgard to visit. I mean, how does that even work. Can they just hear him from that far away?" Clint said
"I don't know. We'll just give them to him when he comes back in a couple weeks." Steve stated
"Yeah." Clint said
"Hey uh..where's Natasha?" Bruce asked after a moment
"She's in the training room." Clint said
"Oh okay." Bruce replied
"Why did you ask?" Clint questioned
"I was just wondering why she isn't here." Bruce said "Because she usually is."
"She just wasn't feeling good this morning. Training helps her feel better." Clint exclaimed
"Oh..okay." Bruce said
"So. Do you guys want to head down to the lab and help me work on my new suit?" Tony asked
"I'm going to go train with Natasha." Clint stated
"Me too." Steve said
"Okay." Tony said "I guess it's just me and you then Brucie."
"Okay." Bruce said, and then he followed Tony to the elevator and they went down to the lab
Time switch to when they're at the lab
"So what do you want to change about it." Bruce asked
"Just some stuff so that it'll fly better and maybe some improvements with the weapons and blasters." Tony stated as brought up a hologram of his suit, and Bruce nodded as they started working
They worked all day, grabbed a bite to eat for lunch, and then continued to work until later in the night Bruce suddenly got a sharp pain in his stomach which made him squeeze his eyes shut in pain
"You okay Bruce?" Tony asked
"Yeah...I'm fine..." Bruce replied, his eyes still closed, trying to breath normally as he breathed in Tony's scent, making his throat burn "Just a headache."
"Okay." Tony said, and he turned back to the hologram
Bruce opened his eyes and looked in the screen beside him to see that his eyes have turned blood red
"Uh..." Bruce groaned in pain as he closed his eyes again, making Tony turn back to him
"Are you sure you are okay Bruce?" Tony asked again
"Yeah. I...I'm fine... I'm just going to go get some air." Bruce said as he turned away from Tony, his eyes still closed, and then he opened them and walked to the elevator
"Okay." Tony said "I'll come check on you if you don't come back in a few minutes okay."
"Okay." Bruce replied, and then he got in the elevator and headed down to the ground floor
Time switch to when he got out of the elevator and then went out of the tower
"Ah..." Bruce groaned as he licked his teeth that were now pointed into fangs and then swallowed, making his throat burn more
"I need blood..." Bruce thought and then a sharp pain went through his stomach again and he bit his lip, and then after a moment he left the tower and headed back down the sidewalk towards the park
Scene switch to about ten minutes later at the tower
"Where is he?" Tony said as he looked at the clock
Tony decided to go up the elevator and check in the kitchen but when he got there Bruce wasn't there
"Have you guys seen Bruce?" Tony asked
"No." Natasha replied
"Nope." Clint replied
"No." Steve replied "We thought he was with you."
"He was. He said he was going out for some air but it's been like ten minutes and he hasn't came back." Tony stated
"Relax Tony." Natasha said "It's been ten minutes."
"Yeah. I guess you're right..." Tony said "But just to make sure he's okay, Jarvis."
"Yes sir." Jarvis replied
"Could you check the cameras and find Bruce for me." Tony asked
"Of course sir." Jarvis replied
"...It seems he is no where in or near the tower sir." Jarvis said after a couple moments
"Then where is he?" Tony asked
"When he was last seen he was heading north, away from the tower." Jarvis stated
"Where is he going?" Tony asked
"I do not know sir." Jarvis stated
"Can you hack the street cameras?" Tony asked
"Yes sir." Jarvis said
"Okay. Tell me when you do." Tony said
"That's weird. Bruce would never just leave like that." Natasha said
"Well I mean he did disappear that one time when we were watching a movie." Clint stated
"Yeah. I guess." Natasha said "But that still doesn't explain where he's going."
"Yeah..." Steve said
"Sir." Jarvis said after a minute
"Yeah Jarvis." Tony replied
"It seems that Doctor Banner went to central park." Jarvis stated
"At eleven at night?" Clint said
"I'm sure it's just to calm down." Natasha stated "He's probably just stressed."
"Yeah." Steve said
"Okay...Hey Jarvis has Bruce left the tower to go to the park any other times?" Tony asked
"...It seems he has left the tower at night about seven times since he has moved in." Jarvis stated after a few moments
"At night?" Clint said "Why has he been going to the park at night. Isn't it closed."
"Yeah..." Tony said "That's weird."
"Was he acting strange before he left?" Natasha asked
"He just said he had a headache before he left." Tony said "He was kind of acting a little weird."
"Should we follow him the next time he goes to see what he's doing?" Clint asked
"I don't know. I mean he hasn't told us so he probably doesn't want us to know." Steve stated
"Yeah. But I want to know what's wrong and why he keeps going out at night. He could be hiding something bad from us, or he could be hiding something that he's doing to himself. You heard him on the helicarrier of what he tried to do before." Tony stated
"Yeah." Clint agreed
"Well...Okay." Steve said
"Okay." Tony said
"Jarvis is there a pattern when Bruce seemed to disappear?" Tony asked
"He seems to go out about every three to four days." Jarvis stated
"Okay then." Tony said "Jarvis can you just tell us when he looks like he is leaving again."
"Of course sir." Jarvis replied
"Okay. Thanks Jarvis." Tony said
"You are welcome." Jarvis replied
"Okay...I'm going to bed. Night." Tony said as he walked to the elevator
"Okay. Me too." Steve said
"Yeah." Clint agreed, and him Steve, and Natasha got in the elevator too and headed up to thier floor
"Okay. Night." Clint replied after a couple minutes as they got off the elevator
"Night." Tony said
"Night." Steve said
"Night." Natasha replied, and then they all left and went to bed
Time switch to the morning
"Morning." Tony said as he walked into the kitchen
"Morning." Clint said
"Morning Bruce." Tony said as he walked over to him "Are you okay?"
"Yeah." Bruce replied as he looked down "I'm fine."
"Okay." Tony said
"...I'm going to go to my room." Bruce stated after a moment as he stood up
"Are you sure?" Tony asked
"Yeah." Bruce replied as he walked to the elevator and got in it "I'll come down to the lab in a bit."
"Okay. Bye." Tony said
"Bye." Bruce replied quietly, and then the elevator doors closed and he went back to his room
"See." Tony said after a moment
"Yeah. He is acting weird." Clint said
"Yeah." Natasha agreed
"Okay. I'll tell you guys when he goes out again." Tony said
"Okay." Natasha replied
"I'm going back down to the lab." Tony stated as he got up and then he started walking to the elevator
"Okay." Steve said as the elevator doors opened and Tony got in
"Okay." Tony replied, and then the elevator doors closed and he went back down to the lab
He stayed in the lab the next few days, waiting for Bruce but he never came down
"Jarvis where's Bruce." Tony said
"Still in his room sir." Jarvis replied, like he did the forty times Tony asked before, and Tony nodded, and then continued working on his suit
"Sir." Jarvis said after a few minutes
"Yeah Jarvis." Tony asked
"Doctor Banner has left his room." Jarvis stated and Tony looked up
"Where?" Tony asked
"It seems he is going down to ground level." Jarvis stated, and Tony turned and looked at the clock which said 12:34 am
"Jarvis wake the others and tell them Bruce is going now." Tony said as he got up and grabbed the bracelets to his suit just in case, and then started walking to the elevator
"Yes sir." Jarvis replied, and then Tony got into the elevator and went up to the room thier floors are on
Time switch to a couple minutes later when he is on their floor
Tony got out of the elevator to see Steve and Natasha there in normal clothes waiting
"How did you guys get ready so fast?" Tony asked
"I just put some clothes on." Steve stated
"Yeah." Natasha said
"Okay I'm here." Clint said as he walked towards them in his suit with his bow and arrows and they all looked at him
"What? We need to be prepared for anything." Clint stated
"I know. I am." Natasha said, lifting up her shirt to show a gun on a holster that only Clint saw
"Okay." Clint said, and then he turned to Tony "So where is he?"
"He's in the elevator going down. Let's go." Tony said, and then they all got into the elevator and started heading down to the ground floor
"Where is he now Jarvis." Tony said after a couple minutes
"He is currently getting out of the elevator." Jarvis stated
"Okay. Thanks Jarvis." Tony said, and then after another minute the elevator doors opened
"Where is he now?" Tony asked
"He is heading north to the park." Jarvis stated
"Okay." Tony said and he turned to the others "Let's go."
They left the tower and started going north down the sidewalk towards the park
"How do we find him?" Clint asked after a few minutes
"Um...I have thermal sensors on my suit." Tony stated
"There are a ton of animals in the park Tony. We'll never find him." Natasha stated
"Oh yeah..." Tony said
"Guys look." Clint said, and then looked up and saw Bruce a couple hundred feet infront of them walking nervously, with his head down
"Okay. He's almost at the park." Tony stated after a moment
"Okay." Steve replied
After a minute they saw Bruce easily hop a six foot tall fence into the park when no one was looking
"Huh. Didn't know he could do that." Tony stated
"Yeah. Let's go." Clint said, and then after a minute they got at the fence and all carefully got over it
"Ow." Tony said as he dropped down from the fence
"You're fine Stark." Natasha said
"Yeah yeah." Tony replied as he got up from the ground "Let's just get Bruce."
"I still feel like we shouldn't be following him." Steve stated quietly
"Yeah. But it's to late now to turn back." Tony stated as they walked through the forest
"No it's not. We can leave whenever we want." Clint replied
"Yeah. But this is fun." Tony stated "Following someone, in a dark forest, in the middle of the night."
"That's not fun." Steve said
"I mean...It is fun." Clint said
"Yeah. But still, we shouldn't just be following Bruce somewhere he doesn't want to be followed." Natasha exclaimed
"I know." Tony said, and then he looked around "Wait...where's Bruce."
They looked around for Bruce but didn't see him but then they heard a noise
"What was that?" Steve said
"It sounded like an animal or something." Clint replied
"Come on." Tony said, and they followed him towards the noise
"What the..." Clint said a little to loud as his eyes widened and he stared at Bruce who was over a dead deer, wiping blood from his lips
Bruce's head lifted up when Clint said this, and he looked at him where they were at
"Uh oh." Clint said, and then Bruce growled and suddenly there was a blur and he was pinning Clint to a tree
