A newfound confidence had boosted inside Lincoln. Ronnie Anne wouldn't want him to live a sad, depressed, miserable life until his last dying breath. Lincoln readied his golden Chatellerault gun and hooked in the ammo magazine.

After reading his gun, he put on his Ace Savvy suit and did a heroic pose. "Time to make the world a better place." he said to himself. He noticed Lori and his mother walking in the living room. "Lincoln?" said Rita, "what are you doing, honey?"

"Well, I realize that moping for the rest of my life isn't gonna help me with anything except live a shorter life from stress." He pulled out his beam sword and ignited it. "Granted," he continued. "I'm still not over Ronnie's... untimely demise, but... She wouldn't want me to be depressed for the rest of my life. I know it wasn't my fault it happened, but I can't just beat myself down for it."

"So where are you going?" Lori asked

"I am going to help out Luna and the guys like I would normally do." Lincoln boldly smiled, looking ready to kick some more bad guy butt. Once again; he cocked his French machine gun, ready for an oncoming battle as if he was going to join the French Foreign Legion. Rita and Lori smiled seeing Lincoln getting back into the swing of things (mostly), it was good to have the old Lincoln back.

"That's the Lincoln we literally know and love." said Lori with a smile. "You sure you want to go out there and go back to fighting crime?"

"Yeah sweetie." said Rita, "You don't have to do that right now if you don't feel like it. I can get you another hot chocolate if you want."

"Thanks mom." Lincoln smiled at her. "But I think I had enough of that for one day. Besides, I have to be in shape if I wanna be a proper superhero. I would like to talk to you guys longer, but I have to help the others."

"Go get 'em, tiger." said Lynn, giving her younger sibling an encouraging pat on the back.

"I will, Lynn." said Lincoln. He rushed outside and went to find his friends, and he couldn't help but get in Vanzilla in the driver's seat.

"Lincoln, Lincoln! Wait a minute!" Lynn Sr rushed to stop him. "Not sixteen yet, remember?"

"Oh. Right. Sorry."

"Here, I'll take you there." the father kindly offered. "Just get in shotgun and I'll get you to Luna and the others." As soon as he drove off to the place where the heroes were fighting off Screamo, Lincoln immediately hopped out of Vanzilla. "Lincoln!" Lynn Sr called out to his only son, making him stop immediately. "Be careful out there, son." the dad sounded more calm with a sad smile

"I will, dad." Lincoln smiled back at him before running off to join the fight. As Vanzilla drove off, Lincoln found a large and wide tree to take cover in and aimed his gun at where Screamo was, and he was having the other heroes pinned down behind a large rock covered with snow.

At first he was a little confused at how his friends were pinned down like this, but he knew he didn't have time to think so hard. After all, overthinking can be unhealthy. Aiming his light machine gun, Lincoln pulled the full-auto trigger and fired, only missed when Screamo tried to walk up to the rock.

"What the?" Screamo noticed.

"Oops." Lincoln muttered, rushing over after accidentally blowing his cover.

"Well, looks like I have the compete set." Screamo sounded amused. "About time you got here, Ace Savvy. What's the matter? too depressed to fight?"

"No. I am here to help my sister and friends." Lincoln boldly said.

"Bro?" Luna peaked.

"I'll help you guys."

"Really?" Screamo sounded more amused. "Yet, you don't have any powers. You're like a drop of oil and water compared to the other supers here."

"Come on, what's your point. Not having powers is nothing. It's all about prowess and craft... like this!" he pulled out a flashbang and threw it over to where Screamo was in a fast matter, and it landed in front of him.

"Uh-oh." Screamo realized and tried to run, but it was too late. He was blinded and began yelling out in pain. "Gah! my eyes!" he exclaimed. "I'll get you for that, kid!"

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" said Mason, knocking back Screamo with a blast of fire, knocking him out cold.

For that, the day is saved once again.

"Lincoln!" Luna ran over to grab him and hug him. "You're here! Not that I'm not happy to see you, but... what are you doing here?"

"Well, I realized that moping for the rest of my life would get me nowhere but sad and miserable. And I don't mean like Lucy."

"Heh. Yeah Lucy likes being miserable." Luna said.

"Plus, Sid sent me a video of Ronnie Anne preparing for graduation." Lincoln added. "She said many good things like how we can make the world a better place and all, and i shouldn't blame myself if she dies under any circumstances."

"Oh." said Jenny understanding. "That explains a lot." she rushed up to him in a second and gave him a kiss on the lips. "I'm so glad you're feeling better, Lincoln."

"Well I'm not one-hundred percent better." Lincoln frowned. "I might never fully get over this."

"Da, we know." said Yakov. "Losing a friend is never easy to accept in life."

"But you're pulling through, man." said Jesse proudly.

"Are you sure you can fight bad guys again?" asked Sam. "It's ok if you are still not into the swing of things yet."

"I'm sure, Sam." said Lincoln.

"It's good to have you back, Lincoln." Luna smiled and hugged him.
