Welcome to the second chapter of Zane Williams and The Gods of Olympus. That's very much a unique name and I did not steal it from Magnus Chase. Definitely. Anyway lets get on to some reviews. Or the one review I have of the time I am writing this lol.

Echoxenvy: "Nice first chapter man, would like to see more. And yeah, Jason takes the lead in Blood of Olympus. Doesn't excuse the fact that yeah, he was a side character and Percy-knockoff for the most part. But he gets more time in Blood of Olympus. Also, you haven't read The Last Olympian? You're really missing out. It's the best one in the entire series, at least in my opinion."

Response: Thanks bro. So Jason does actually take the lead? Lol guess I'll see how that goes when I finally get around to that book while writing this fanfic. Yeah I read the series in around 2013-2014 when I was in middle school and my library there only have the first four books. I never got around to reading it but I think I have the general gist of what happened in it.

Anyway done with reviews because I only have one lol. Anyway this chapter actually gets to canon in it. Don't you hate when the writer of a fanfic with a good idea takes like twenty chapters to get to canon. I'm just like: 'I don't give a fuck about this shit! Just get to the stuff we know!' Hopefully I'm not the only one whose like that.

Anyway enough bitching from me. Lets blow this pop stand.

(P.S. I'm just going to make a disclaimer here and say I don't own Percy Jackson, but considering this is on a fanfiction site, you could probably fucking guess that.)

(May 26th, 2006, Camp Half-Blood)

I swung my celestial bronze Labrys over Luke's head, try to cleave in in two vertically, while Taylor tried to impale him in the chest with his spear. Luke dodged to the left, avoiding my Labrys. He dodged right into the path of Taylor's spear, which he knocked to the side with his sword. Luke kicked Taylor in the chest, and went to finished him off. However, he was forced to jump back when I threw my Labrys at him with the force to crack the ground.

Luke acrobatically somersaulted backwards a few meters to create some distance between me and the feminine son of Ares. Taylor righted himself by standing up and looking ready to fight again while I used the wind to carry my Labrys back to me like Thor's hammer. I nodded at Taylor and we closed in on Luke, continuing our battle.

Taylor charged first, with his spear outstretched like a lance, his shield protected him. Luke knocked his spear to the side, the son of Ares not having the strength to keep his spear steady after Luke's mighty blow. Luke vaulted over Taylor, seemingly having the upper hand. However, I was prepared for this. Before Luke could hit the ground, I was there, swinging my Labrys in a wide arc in the area he was about to touch down at, careful to not hit Taylor.

Luke barely avoided my swing, performing a sideways flip off the ground. He tried to strike at me while my Labrys was still in it's arc. However, I cheated by using the wind to turn in quickly, blocking his strike. In this time period, Taylor had recovered and went on the offensive against Luke. Taylor tried to shield bash Luke, however, Luke simply dodged to the side and kicked Taylor in the ribs. Before Luke could do more, I spun my Labrys in the air, channeling lightning throughout it and sent it at the son of Hermes. Luke jumped back, twisting in the air, before landing expertly in his fighting stance, ready to face us.

Taylor, having recovered once more, stood by my side and we approached the son of Hermes. "You attack left, I go right." I said to the girly looking boy. He nodded and we began to carry out our secret plan.

Luke smirked. "Not great battle strategy if you're going to announce it out loud, Zane." Luke twirled his sword before beginning to backstep.

I smirked right back at him. "Whatever you say, Luke." I charged at the Hermes cabin councilor. I speared the pointed head of my weapon towards his torso. Luke, knowing he had nowhere near enough strength to block my strike head on, dodged to the right, also avoiding a sneak attack from Taylor. Taylor's spear smashed into the ground where Luke was standing. We readjusted our self for our next attack.

We split again and pretended we were going to attack Luke from different angles, only to converge and attack him together in one spot. Luke had difficulty balancing his fight styles to avoid my powerful swings and block Taylor's quick strikes. Luke was strong enough to block Taylor with ease, but he wasn't fast enough to outpace him. Luke was faster than I was, but I was much stronger.

This assault continued for several minutes. Taylor and I would team up and attack Luke together and attack in separately in different waves, trying to keep him on his toes. I was waiting for the right moment to use my wind tornado ability to disable Luke, however to do that, he had to be standing in one place for an extended period of time.

I knew I finally had my moment when Luke, tired from our ceaseless assault, tried to end the battle quickly. Luke attacked Taylor, combined his impressive speed and strength together so he could take Taylor out, who could only match Luke's speed, not his strength. Luke struck out with a powerful downward slash against Taylor, who blocked with his shield, albeit barely. Luke grabbed Taylor's shield and tried to pry it away with his other hand. Taylor held for as long as humanly possible. This is when I knew I had my opportunity.

I twisted my left arm in a spinning fashion, conjuring up the lesser known domain of my father. If you asked a random person on the street what my father was the god of, most would say lightning. However, Zeus was also the lord of the sky, giving him, and also me, control of the wind. So using this power I conjured a wind tornado under Luke.

As soon as Luke finally got Taylor's shield in his grasp fully, he felt something was wrong. He knew what was coming next, as I have tried to ability against him before, so he tried to jump out the way. But he stood in one place for too long. I knew I had. Luke was lifted in the air by my ever expanded tornado I summoned. "Taylor! Knock his sword away!" This was our chance. This technique was very complex and difficult to keep up, so I could only hold Luke for a short amount of time.

Luckily, the son of Ares understood and knocked Luke's weapon from his right hand with his spear. Luke's sword clanged on the ground and I knew we had him. I dispelled my tornado and dropped Luke unceremoniously on his back. I raced over to make sure he stayed down but Taylor had me covered by placing his spear at Luke's throat. I made Luke's escape impossible by placing my foot on his chest and my tipped head of my Labrys at his neck.

Luke put his hands up in surrender, knowing he was beat. "Okay, Okay! You guys got me. I get the message. No need to be so brutal." Luke said with a smile on his face. We were all tired, sweat dripping down our faces. The battle we just had took an entire hour. Almost our entire combat class period.

Taylor wasn't amused. "Last time we let you up so easily, you hit us while we were off guard, even though we had you. We're not making that mistake again." Taylor tried to put up a gruff voice, to show he was annoyed, but there was nothing he could do to not sound like a girl. He looked like a female with his delicate red hair and freckled androgynous face. His slime frame and short stature didn't help thing either.

Taylor like to pretend he was a hard ass. But the son of Ares was probably the most nonviolent kid I have ever met. Despite who his father was, he was the kid most unlike his divine parent in the entire camp. Despite his nonviolent tendencies, he was actually really skilled with a spear, thanks to the training and lessons from Luke.

Luke smirked. "In the real world, monsters won't be trustworthy. They'll turn their back on you first chance they get, and kill you in the most brutal way you can think of. Someday, you'll thank me for being unfair in your training."

Me and Taylor weren't so amused. "I'll go ahead and thank you for it now. I'll also show that we're taking your lesson to heart." I inched my Labrys head spike against his neck. "Surrender. Say it! Also, swear on the Styx that you lost and won't try anything else against us." Yeah, fuck Luke and his stupid backstabbing he does after he gets beat in a spar. I swear, I don't have a sense of honor anymore thanks to the son of Hermes.

Luke laughed good-naturedly. "Alright, I swear on the Styx that I won't try anything, okay." Thunder struck in the distance, sealing Luke to his oath. Luke didn't seem to mind it as he stood up and dusted himself off. He walked over to the other side of the fighting square and picked up his sword. He looked up and saw that the sun was setting. "Alright you two. It's almost time for the bonfire. I gotta end this class," Luke gestured to the rest of the Arena, which was filled with other demigods training. "And I gotta round my cabin up. You two head up to the bonfire."

Me and Taylor nodded. Taylor put his weapons back on the weapon rack while I strapped my Labrys to my back. I put my Nemean Lion pelt back on, which I took off for the spar, and motioned for Taylor to follow me.

I had been at this camp for over a year and a half. It honestly has felt more like home than anywhere else I have ever stayed. Everyone here was like me. Different. We were all demigods here, whether we knew who our divine parent was or not. It felt like a big family.

However not everyone here was friendly. Mostly the Ares cabin. They were walking stereotypical bullies who often embodied what their father stood for. Especially Clarrise. Me and her haven't really seen eye to eye since I threatened her after she tried to dunk my head into a toilet. She still does that to newbies, but usually with a lot more than just two of her sibling helping her.

Hell, the only one from the Ares cabin who I actually thought was pretty cool was Taylor. Hilariously, he was one of the kids Clarrise enlisted to give me a swirlie when I first arrived at camp. Yeah, the girly looking red haired boy. Funny how things turn out don't they?

A few of the Apollo kids were kinda jerkasses as well. I didn't bother to remember the names or even looks of the ones who were assholes. Honestly it was kinda hard since they all looked the same. Blonde haired, handsome or beautiful kids who all had a talent for music and archery. So yeah, I couldn't even be bothered to remember their names.

Speaking of Taylor, he was kinda the only friend I had at camp, besides Luke. Everyone else just wouldn't approach me. I could understand that honestly. At eleven years old, before I even arrived at camp, I killed four Laestrygonian giants, a Nemean Lion and an elder cyclops. I had two kills in my monster kill list that most demigods would never stand a chance against in their entire life, and I killed them at eleven.

Anyway, I didn't need them. They just put me up on a pedestal, calling me 'The Second Coming of Heracles.' I guess the incredible strength along with the Nemean Lion pelt kinda painted a picture like that. Whatever, I had Luke and Taylor, I didn't need any of those losers.

So when me and Taylor arrived at the bonfire, we sat on a bench my the fire alone, smoking marshmallows to put on s'mores. Most kids kept at a distance away from us. However, I could hear the whispers of some of the kids around and behind us. They talked about how strong I was, How much potential I had, blah blah blah. My first few weeks it may have weirded me out and my first few months it kinda boosted my ego, but after you hear it so much, you kinda don't care anymore.

The kids around the campfire began to sing the Campfire Song. Despite not really singing it, I felt content here in this spot. About one hundred children, of different ages, looks and backgrounds, having to constantly fear for our lives thanks to the threat of monsters, could just sit back and be kids. The blazing fire, the happy campers, Chiron supervising us from about ten meters away, The entire feel of every night's bonfire got to me every time. It reminded me when I first met Taylor, for real.

(Flashback, About a month after Zane arrived at camp)

I honestly, even after around a month of going to this camp, didn't really feel all that at home. I didn't really talk to anyone. My status as the son of Zeus kept them all away. Luke, probably my only friend, spent time with his brothers at Lunch or at the bonfire. It would be kinda weird if I just hung out with a bunch of Hermes kids just to talk to their councilor and not any of them. So went Luke was with his family, I just kept my distance.

The loneliness was made eve worse, due to the fact I had no one else with me in my cabin. The only other child of Zeus who was alive during my lifetime was Thalia Grace, who was dead and the source of the barrier protecting the camp. Also, Zeus' cabin sucked. It was completely empty, with nothing but a statue of my father in it. I appreciated the idea of my father watching over me while I slept, but sometimes it kinda got creepy.

I was walking aimlessly around the campfire, not sitting down anywhere. I was lost in my own mind, wallowing in my self pity and loneliness. Thoughts of my dead friend Jacob and my dead mother filled my mind. It fills like I just lost them yesterday, the pain was still so fresh, despite it being more than a month ago. My eyes became hot and I knew what was coming. I was so caught up in my thoughts and trying to not cry in front of the whole camp, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going, idiot!" A feminine voice said rather harshly.

"Sorry..." I mumbled. Wow, some people could be real assholes. I tried to keep walking, to keep out of any confrontational situations, but I realized who I bumped into was still standing there. I turned my actual attention towards to person and I found that red haired girly dude standing there with his mouth slightly agape, as if he realized he didn't know who he said that to.

The kid was a head shorter than I was, which was saying something, as I was only around five foot one. His delicate red hair hung to his shoulders, brushed to perfection. His black eyes looked at me in fear, wondering what I was going to do. He wore a dark red long undershirt under his orange Camp Half-Blood shirt that was a little too big for him, making it look like a mini dress. Combined with his short khaki shirts, no wonder I thought he was a girl at first.

"Oh! Um..." I started out awkwardly. Smooth, Zane. Smooth. I kinda mistook this kids gender earlier after he tried to help his ogre looking sister dunk my head into a nasty ass toilet which I probably nearly broke his ribs for. "Er...sorry for calling you a girl back then...and elbowing you..." I trailed off awkwardly. Holy shit, I was terrible with new people, no wonder Jacob was my only friend back in New Orleans.

The kid blushed a little. "Uh..no. I kinda deserved that. I mean, we were going to give you a swirlie." He didn't even mention I misgendered him. Guess that must happen a lot when he meets new people.

"So...uh, what's your name?" Damn, I really sucked at talking to people, huh? Maybe I should have chosen to take that Poetry class with all those Apollo kids.

The kid hesitated. "I'm Taylor Smyth, son of Ares." Okay, he actually was a son of Ares. I was starting to think with how feminine this boy looks, he was a son of Aphrodite or something that Clarisse bullied into helping her. Still doesn't explain how he and Clarisse pretty much look like total opposites.

I smiled a bit. "I'm Zane Williams." Please don't say you know who I am. I already get that from enough people around here.

"Yeah, I know." Damn it! "You've pretty much been the talk of the camp for the past month, being the only child of The Big Three around here." The Big Three. What they called Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. Honestly I thought the name was a little dumb, but it definitely described what they were. I wondered if the females of the camp called Hera, Demeter and Hestia a similar name, considering they were also children of Kronos.

We stood in an awkward silence after Taylor said that. I tried to rack my mind to come up with a topic to continue this conversation. "So...er...you're a son of Ares, right?" Taylor nodded at my answer as he put a hand at his hip. "How come you look different that basically every other Ares kid probably in the history of ever?"

Taylor sighed and put held the bridge of his nose. He must get that question a lot. "I don't know. My mother is a normal looking woman and my father is probably the most manly man to ever exist ever. And I'm..." Taylor trailed off and looked at the ground.

I, and my amazing people skills, decided to continue for him. "And you're the most girly dude to ever exist ever?" Not my best moment to be honest. If this had been anyone else, they probably would have been super offended and walked away.

Taylor sighed again, but I could see a hint of a smile on his face. "Yeah." Wait, did he find that endearing or something? Could this actually be a friend? I wasn't going to let this opportunity go to waste. Now I had to make this work.

I gave the girly dude a smile. "Hey, it can't be that bad. I mean, you're probably the best looking person I've ever seen in the entire camp." Hopefully that didn't screw it up. I'm not known for my people skills. Wait, that probably sounded pretty gay. Did I just tell another dude he was the best looking kid in the entire camp?

Taylor had a blush on his face as he brought his hands to his cheeks. "You really think so?!" He asked in an amazed tone. He then looked a little embarrassed. "I actually put a lot of thought into how I look..." He trailed of as he looked down. "Thank you!" He looked back up with a geniune smile on his face, with a hint of a blush.

There's no fucking way that just worked. Roll with it. "No problem, man." By this point in the conversation, we had sat down on a bench beside the fire. I had to keep this going. My first actual non awkward conversation with someone in an entire month! "So, what's your cabin like?"

"Well, the cabin is kinda a big dick measuring contest. Like whoever is the strongest is the best or something. It usually doesn't matter, since Clarisse is the top dog." He looked into the fire. "I'm probably the weakest in there." He said sadly.

Nope. No self esteem problems allowed in this house. "Hey, don't worry." Taylor looked from the fire to me. "You may not be the strongest, but you probably have other talents. Don't get yourself down." Gotta make possible new friend fell good about themselves. Otherwise they'll be sad and depressed and that's good for no one.

Taylor gave me a big smile. "Really?" Wow, does everyone just beat down on this kid? Has he never been told that he isn't strong or skilled or cool or something? Guess the Ares kids really are dickheads.

"Yeah, dude. Everyone's good at something. Just because you aren't strong, doesn't mean you're worthless. You just gotta find what you're good at." Taylor looked at me like I just got him an Xbox for Christmas. Yeah, it's official, Ares cabin sucks total ass. "Anyway, so what's your mom like? You mentioned her earlier."

Taylor perked up when he heard me ask about his mom. "Oh, she's awesome! She's a cosmetologist. She helped me learn how to do my hair and my nails. She's really kind and caring." His face fell a bit. "I miss her. I'm a year round camper so she can stay safe. I know if I'm around her too much, it'll attract monsters, so I can only see her on Christmas." He looked at me, questioningly. "What's your mom like?"

Shit. Thinking about my mother just destroys me inside. It makes me think about how much I failed her. If I had only been fast enough to reach the house before those Laestrygonians ate her. Taylor could see my face fall at the mention of my mother. I decided to answer his question before he ask it. "She's dead."

Taylor looked very apologetic. "Oh...I'm so sorry I mentioned her then, I didn't know." No. Can't let my emoism destroy this possible friendship. Swallow depression and tell her about my fucking mom, right now.

"No. It's fine. You couldn't have known." I looked down as I tried to come up with words to describe my mother. "She was...everything to me. She gave everything she could to make me happy, to make me feel safe. She was the best mother anyone could ask for. She was amazing. She was always there for me, she wa-" I felt my voice get louder and more anguished as I talk about her, so I stopped to not draw attention to our conversation. "I miss her. If I was just better, she would still be alive."

I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Taylor. He moved closer to me on the bench, to the point our thighs were touching. "Don't worry, Zane. It's okay." His feminine voice almost brought tears to my eyes. "I have no doubt you did the best you could. Don't blame yourself." I almost hugged him, but sense I literally just met him, I held myself back. That probably would have been really weird.

"Thanks, Taylor." I felt myself feel way better immediately. I probably should have gotten that of my chest way sooner than I did. I wonder how bad that would have been if I had bottled that up for a long time. "Hey, as you could probably tell, I'm not really good with people. Hell, I only one friend back in school. Do...you want to be my friend?" Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes.

Taylor's face brighten up. "Sure." He then looked rather embarrassed. "To be honest, I'm not really that good at making friends either." He brought his hand up and outstretched it. "Friends?"

I smiled and took his hand. "Friends."

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

(Back to The Present)

Ever since then, Me and Taylor had pretty much been inseparable. He, after almost a year and a half, was still my only friend. Luke didn't really count because he was more of a mentor figure. I used my influence as The Son of Zeus to make things easier on Taylor throughout the entire camp. No one bullied him, because if they did, they knew I would stomp a mudhole into their ass and walk it dry.

I even asked Luke to train both of us. Taylor, before his training with Luke, wasn't exactly a great fighter. Because of how different he was, most of the Ares cabin ostracized him. They never really bothered to teach him how to fight properly, and because Taylor was as socially inept as I was, he never asked anyone else for help.

However, Luke accepted him. He turned Taylor into, in my opinion, the best fighter in his entire cabin. Like I had told him at the bonfire when I first met him, Taylor definitely had his own innate talents. For one, he was immensely fast. Fast enough to be able to match Luke, son of the god of speed. At his top speed, Taylor almost looked like a blur in my base form.

He was also really damn good with a spear, however, that seemed to be an innate trait for every son of Ares. Taylor, just seemed to have speed rather than the strength of the other children. Honestly, besides Luke and myself, Taylor was probably one of the most dangerous fighters in the entire camp. His speed was that crazy.

I was physically the strongest person to attend camp, ever. I learned this from Chiron after I asked If there were any demigods who were as strong as me. He told me that the only demigod that was ever at my level in terms of physical power, was Heracles. Heracles had been an adult at my level as well. Chiron had never told me why I was so strong, but I'm just fairly certain that he had never known.

Either way, the combination between my immense strength and Taylor's immense speed made us the best team in the entire camp. When we played Capture The Flag, everyone was clamoring to get the two of us on their team so we could use our strength and speed to overcome anyone. The only person who could fight both of us at once and win was Luke.

Luke was the best swordsman to grace Camp Half-Blood in three hundred years, according to Chiron. He was basically the strongest demigod in camp. He wasn't as strong as me physically, but he more than made up about that fact with his incredible speed and unstoppable skill. It's a testament that he can fight both Taylor and I at the same time. No one, not even Clarisse could do that.

Honestly, Taylor was better than Clarrise by now, anyway. While not having as much strength as her or any of the other children of Ares, Taylor had the training of Luke and speed that would make a superhero jealous. The only reason he hadn't challenged Clarisse for the title of Councilor, was the fact he had never been on a quest before. Certainly would win that fight in my opinion.

Enough exposition, back to the now. The feel of the bonfire made my head wonder back to the night I met Taylor. Honestly it made me feel grateful that I elbowed him on my first day at camp. If I hadn't, then Taylor probably wouldn't have frozen in fear at the sight of me, and we wouldn't have struck up a conversation. I would still probably have no friends.

Anyway, I noticed some commotion on the other side of the campfire. Some of the campers were getting up and leaving in a hurry, as if they were going to look at something happening. "I nudged Taylor, who was looking up at the stars. "What's going on over there?" As I asked him, more people were getting up and following the kids who left first.

Taylor shrugged, although he was intrigued. "We should go check it out. Could be dangerous or something." Deciding that was as good as any reason to follow the campers, I stood up. Me and Taylor joined the crowd, which had quickened their pace. We started to jog to follow them, when we realized they were heading to the big house. The Big House already had a crowd of campers surrounding something, talking loudly about some fact, although I couldn't make it out at this distance.

When me and Taylor arrived, along with the crowd of other demigods, we could see Chiron and a group of Apollo kids kneeling over two kids. One I recognized as a satyr. It was Grover Underwood. The same satyr who had brought Luke to camp several years back. I had only met him a few times, mostly in passing when talking to Luke. He seemed nice enough. He was currently groaning in pain, moaning the word 'food' over and over again.

The other kid on the ground was a kid around my age. He seemed about my height, with medium length black hair. He wore a red T-shirt with a dark blue jacket covering it, along with ripped jeans. He was battered and bruised, along with a few cuts in various odd places. I could feel a powerful aura exude of this boy.

At some point while staying at camp, I began to be able to feel the auras of others. I didn't notice it at first, however I always seemed to tell which camper was a child of which god. Unclaimed children didn't give off an aura however, since they didn't have the blessing of their divine parent. I could feel the divine energy of the parent in their child. Or what I assumed the divine energy was, considering I have never met any of their parents. Except Dionysus. But I haven't tried to aura sense him yet, in an attempt to not piss him off.

Chiron finally noticed a massive crowd that had built up around him and the Apollo kids tending to the injured satyr and other kid. "Give us some space! Go back to your cabins. Curfew is being enforced early tonight." Protests and groans could be heard from the crowd but they headed Chiron's words. They didn't want to run the risk of being eaten by the harpies that enforced curfew.

As me and Taylor walked back to the cabin area of camp away from the Big House, we talked about what we had seen. "What was that, Zane? I've never seen Chiron so worried before." Taylor himself seemed rather worried as he completed that sentence.

I shrugged. "Maybe he got attacked by a monster and just barely made it into camp. That happens sometimes. It did with me." I seemed nonchalant, but honestly the whole situation kinda bothered me. The kids aura was really, really strong. Much stronger than the auras of anyone else inside of camp, excluding me. Maybe he was the child of a very power god or goddess?

Taylor rolled his eyes as he heard that. "You've told the cyclops story to me a thousand times, Zane." Yeah, he was right. I liked to tell that story a lot.

"I know, but I can't get over the fact that Poseidon sent a giant naked cyclops after me. I know my father broke some oath having me or something, but couldn't Poseidon send a clothed cyclops after me? My mind is still not recovered seeing a penis a big as me." Honestly it has, but I just liked to fluster Taylor. He gets flustered whenever I mention that.

Taylor, predictably, blushed a little. However he didn't comment on the whole penis thing. "Zane, you have to understand, monster attacks this close to camp is very uncommon. Most demigods are only attacked once, then they come to camp uninterrupted if they survive the initial attack. Only powerful demigods like you warrant enough attention for multiple monsters." Taylor frowned. "Unless this was the first attack, that demigod must have a very powerful divine parent."

We arrived at the Ares cabin, which interrupted Taylor's speculation. I swear, sometimes Taylor acts like a child of Athena. Always thinking and shit. I wasn't the dumbest person in camp, but I was certainly no genius either. "Anyway, we're at your cabin. Go sleep your inquisitiveness off before you make the Athena cabin aware you're probably smarter than any of them." I said with a smirk.

Taylor giggled and punched my shoulder, which I didn't feel in the slightest. "Goodnight, Zane." With that, Taylor turned around and walked into his cabin.

I didn't say goodnight back, but I just smiled and shook my head. The walk back to the Zeus cabin was uneventful, although I could see harpies approaching the inner camp for their curfew patrol, so I didn't waste anytime getting back to my cabin.

Arriving at the cabin, I was greeted by the sight of my boring ass spartan cabin with the statue of my father. Yeah, that thing was really fucking creepy. Any feelings of safety it may have brought in the early days of my stay were gone and replaced by irritation. I didn't hate my dad. I just thought having a statue of him looking over on me every night was creepy.

I entered the bathroom, which I convinced Chiron to have built in the cabin due to the fact it didn't have one before, and took my clothes of for a shower. I looked in the mirror, reflecting over how much I had changed in my stay at Camp Half-Blood.

When I arrived here, I had medium length hair, which had a little bit of curls in it. I had a skinny body type, although I was thicker in some place, most noticeably my hips, thighs and stomach. Nowadays, my hair reached down to my shoulders, curls prominent throughout my hair. While it curled a little bit at the base of my hair, it didn't curl naturally nearly as much as my hair shows now. Taylor had strong-armed me into letting him do my hair with his cosmetology skills that his mother taught him. Honestly it made my hair look kinda gay but if I ever undid the curls, Taylor would shove his spear down my throat.

My body had also undergone several changes over the past year and a half. For one, I had virtually no fat deposits in my body. I wasn't any bulkier, still scrawny, since I was a twelve year old. However, you could see virtually ever muscle in my body. They just weren't very large due to my age.

Thoughts of that injured demigod kid at The Big House filled my mind. I swear his aura felt very familiar. I couldn't put my finger on it however. I know for a fact he couldn't be a child of any of the major twelve Olympians. He didn't feel like any of the children I had ever met. Granted, I haven't met a child of Hades or Poseidon, but unless one of those two broke their oaths, then it couldn't be them.

Whatever, I'll probably figure it out or something eventually. He'll either get claimed or he'll be in the Hermes cabin, never to really amount to anything. I deal with these thoughts tomorrow. Maybe Taylor will have an idea by that point.

(Two Days Later)

It had been an eventful couple of days since that new kid ended up on the front porch of the Big House. Taylor had managed to find out more about said kid by talking to the Apollo kids who had tended to him. They hadn't told him much, just to talk to Annabeth. The daughter of Athena was initially reluctant to tell Taylor anything, but Taylor managed to convince her to spill the beans, so to say. For a son of Ares, Taylor was really diplomatic. I swear, he had to have been a son of Athena sometimes.

Annabeth told Taylor, and eventually everyone else that the kid's name was Percy Jackson. That he had killed the Minotaur, a feat comparable to my own killing of an elder cyclops. That kind of made everyone in awe of the new kid. The Minotaur was a legendary monster, even more legendary than the Nemean Lion. And this kid killed it with it's own horn, from what Annabeth told everyone.

Everyone in camp were speculating that the kid was "Big Three Material" or "like Zane." Honestly, I was hoping that they would stop idolizing me and move on to this Percy kid. It was rather flattering and ego boosting at first, but now it was boring and irritating. But hopefully if this kid was big three material, he could be an actual challenge. Don't get me wrong, Luke and Taylor are immensely good at fighting, especially Luke. But neither of them can even come close to my full strength.

My patented 'Thunder Form.' That's the retarded name I came up with. It coated my entire body in lightning and increased all of my abilities seemingly a thousand fold. In my base form, I'm already the strongest demigod in camp, not including Luke. But my Thunder form puts me at an entire different level. It gives me the power to conjure thunderstorms and hurricanes. I am able to fly via my wind abilities. I can fly in my base form although it is much harder to keep up. My Thunder Form makes flying effortless.

I was hoping this Percy Jackson kid was going to be strong enough to give me a good fight at my best. I wasn't strong enough yet to beat Luke alone without Taylor's help, but with my Thunder Form it was too easy.

A couple of days after the Percy kid arrived, me and Taylor were walking in the middle of Camp Half-Blood. Currently, it was our free period, which meant no classes or chores for a couple of hours. So we just decided to walk around the camp and talk for that time period. Our current topic? Of course, the whole Minotaur thing.

"From what Annabeth told me, and the rest of the camp, he had killed the Minotaur with it's own horn. He didn't even have a weapon!" Taylor, like the rest of the camp, believed that the new kid was Big Three material. At first I was a little skeptical, but the more I thought of it, the more it made sense. An attack so close to camp, combined with the fact that he beat a legendary monster with no weapons, put him in that category. Unless he was a very, very strong son of Ares, he could very well be what people believe him to be.

I scoffed. "Big deal. I killed the Nemean Lion and an elder cyclops with no weapon." I motioned to my pelt cloak, which I had worn to this day. I knew that killing the Minotaur even with a weapon was no easy task for most demigods, although I and this Percy kid weren't most demigods.

Taylor rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but you're the 'Second Coming of Heracles.'" Taylor said that with a faux haughty tone which made me chuckle. "Give me a break, Zane. Sometimes I think you actually believe that nonsense." No, I really didn't. I am not the second coming of Heracles. I'm even better than he is. I killed the Nemean Lion easier than he did at a much younger age. Some would call that arrogance, but is it really arrogance if it's true?

My thoughts were interrupted when a deep, angry voice called out. "Hey, Taylor!" Both of us turned to the left and saw Clarrise and a group of five other campers, who looked like exaggerated versions of Clarisse, which meant bigger and uglier. Just looking at Clarisse's siblings and Taylor really showed how different Taylor was among the Ares children. Seriously, those girls looked more like men than even me, much less Taylor.

Taylor let out a groan. "What do you want Clarisse?" Despite being a better fighter, Taylor still had to listen to Clarisse. She was the Councilor for the Ares cabin, a position of leadership. Taylor couldn't challenge her for the spot due to not having any quests under his belt. I was in the same boat as him, but I was Councilor regardless due to being the only son of Zeus.

Clarisse smiled evilly. "That new kid just woke up. Annabeth is touring him through the camp right now. We're going to go see if he is Big Three material or not." I sighed as well alongside Taylor. That just meant they were going to dump that kids fucking head in the water in the bathroom.

Taylor couldn't exactly say no to Clarisse. Well, he could. He would just be reprimanded and punished for his insubordination. "Fine. Lets just get this shit over with." Taylor said as he rolled his eyes. He gestured to me. "Come on, Zane." Huh, I guess I was going to go watch that Percy Jackson guy get a swirlie on his first day. Well, I guess I would know whether he was going to actually be someone who could give me a challenge depending on how he handled Clarisse.

Clarisse looked at me with a snarl. "Your boyfriend isn't coming with us, Taylor. This is an Ares cabin thing." Yeah, Clarisse and I haven't exactly seen eye to eye ever since my first day arriving her. I guess making her look stupid in front of two of her siblings was enough to earn her ire. Also, what?

"He's not my boyf-!" "Zane's not my b-!" We both froze hearing our similar responses come out at the same time and blushed. I coughed, averting my eyes from Taylor's look, and faced Clarisse. "Look, you ugly bitch. I go where Taylor goes, and there's nothing you can do about it, alright?" Clarisse looked like she wanted to attack me right there, but her sense of self preservation held her back.

Taylor backed me up. "What he said." I gave him a grateful smile, which he returned. I was going to make sure that Clarisse wasn't going to make Taylor do what he didn't want to.

Clarisse rolled her eyes at what I could probably presume she thought was 'sappy shit.' "Whatever, lets just go." With that, an awkward walk to the bathroom took place. Clarisse kept sending me an occasional glare, which I promptly would return. Her siblings looked rather uncomfortable around me, probably from my reputation, which I would admit does precede me.

Close to the public bathroom in the middle of the camp, was Annabeth and who I would assume was Percy Jackson. He was around my height, about five foot three. He had a similar hairstyle to me from about when I first arrived at camp. He also had black hair, however his seemed to shine an oceanic green hue. He wore the same ripped jeans he had worn when I saw him two nights ago, however he now had the orange shirt of the camp, his blue jacket nowhere to be seen. What caught my eye however, was the fact he was holding a Minotaur horn, stained with blood.

When we were in speaking distance of the two demigods, Clarisse called out, interrupting the intense conversation the two were having. "Well! The newbie!" Real original, Clarisse, real original. The two turned towards us, Percy looking confused while Annabeth let out a sigh. Before saying anything, she looked at me and Taylor inquisitively. The two of us could only offer a shrug back to her.

"Clarisse," Annabeth said, sounding done with this shit. "Why don't you go polish your spear or something." Clarisse gave shit to everyone in the entire camp, even to her own cabin members. So it seems natural that at times she would give Annabeth a serving of that shit. Also, the fact that the two often were the leaders of the opposing teams in Capture The Flag also probably had something to do about it.

Clarisse grinned. "Sure, Miss Princess. So I can run you through with it on Friday night." Wow, what an outstanding comeback. By the gods, Clarisse needs to talk with the Apollo cabin on getting better roasts. Then again, Annabeth didn't exactly hit Clarisse with her best either. Still, it seemed to make Annabeth angry.

"Erre es korakas!" Annabeth shouted at Clarisse, saying 'go to the crows' in ancient Greek. Again, not her best insult, if I'm being honest. Maybe she's having an off day. To my side, Taylor yawned. Looks like he wants to get this over with as quickly as possible. I couldn't lie, I wanted to as well. "You don't stand a chance." Annabeth finished.

Clarisse chuckled darkly. "We'll pulverize you." Says the one with a losing record as the team leader. That probably had to do with the fact that usually Luke or I would be on the enemy team, but we're not going to talk about that. Clarisse noticed Percy, who was quiet. "Ah, the little runt. What's his name again?"

"Percy Jackson," Annabeth started. "meet Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares."

Percy Jackson blinked, looking confused. "Like...the war god?" Was there any other war god? Athena was a goddess, she doesn't count. Shut up.

Clarrise sneered, looking angry. Her ugly siblings did the same. "You got a problem with that?" She asked, almost daring him to say yes. Meanwhile, Taylor and I stood to the sidelines, waiting for when this cliche shit would be over with. Taylor looked at his painted and styled nails, making sure they were pristine. I noticed this and chuckled. "Gay." Taylor slapped my shoulder but I could see the grin on his face.

Back to the cliche shit, Percy seemed to straighten. "No." He dramatically paused. "It explains this smell." Wow, wrong thing to say to Clarisse if you can't back it up. I watched with a little more interest. Lets see where this would go.

Clarisse's hands balled into a grip and she growled. "We got a initiation ceremony for newbies, Prissy." Oh gods, here we go. I swear, Clarisse was a walking cliche. She even called him a stupid insulting nickname like she had with me back on my first day.

"Percy." Said kid tried to correct.

"Whatever." Clarisse shrugged. Then she smirked evilly. "Come on, I'll show you." Ugh, come on Percy. Use your Big Three material powers on Clarisse so me and Taylor can go already. This was already taking way to long.

"Clarisse-" Annabeth tried to butt in, to save Percy from what horrific fate awaited him in the grasp of Clarisse, but she was interrupted by said war demigoddess. "Stay out of it, Wise Girl." Said wise girl proceeded to do what Clarisse said. Come on, Annabeth. You didn't even try that hard. Percy, however, looked like he was about to square up.

Percy handed his horn to Annabeth, who took it without a word. He tried to attack Clarisse, but the daughter of Ares jabbed him in the nose, disorientating him and grabbed him by the neck. Clarisse hauled the new kid to the bathroom, a boring grey stone construction. This was embarrassing to watch. Taylor shared my thoughts as he face palmed while we followed Clarisse and her posse into the building.

Clarisse dragged Percy over to one of the stalls, with the newbie kicking and punching along the way. Clarisse didn't even budge an inch to Percy's attacks. Clarisse's goons were laughing at the kid trying to fight his way from their Councilor, to no avail. Taylor looked embarrassed to even be alive right now, while I just watched the newbie in pity. So much for Big Three Material.

"Like he's Big Three material." Clarisse declared, displaying my thoughts exactly. Clarisse dragged Percy up to the toilet. "The Minotaur probably fell over laughing, he was so stupid looking." Clarisse's ugly sibling sounded like a sitcom laugh track as they reacted to Clarisse's retarded joke. Taylor spit on the floor in disgust as he watched his siblings bully this new kid. Yeah, it was time to stop this.

Clarisse tried to force Percy's head into the water. The kid struggled, but he was eventually going head first into the nasty water than probably fifty kids today had shit and pissed in. I didn't even know if the toilet was flushed. I wasn't going to bother to find out. I walked up behind Clarisse, pushing through her siblings like a bodybuilder pushes through a crowd of toddlers. Before I could stop Clarisse, all hell broke loose.

The toilet shot water like a fire hose in an arch over Percy's head, smashing into Clarisse and sending her sprawling to the floor, covered in water. Clarisse tried to stand but was knocked to the ground again after the toilet fucking exploded. Since I wash right behind Clarisse as this happened, I was also drenched in nasty toilet water, although I had not been sent to the floor.

Clarisse's sisters had tried to come to her aid, before the other toilets exploded as well. Basically, a massive wave of nasty toilet water smashed into everyone in the entire room, sending everyone, except me, out of the door like a amusement park slide. Not even Annabeth and Taylor were spared, as they also ended up out the stone bathroom.

After processing that all of this happened in like five seconds, I chuckled. If this kid was Big Three, then it wasn't too hard to figure out who his father was. I mean, he had just washed everyone out of the bathroom like fish down a toilet.

Annabeth stood up, her legs shaking. "How did you...?" She trailed off leaving the question up in the air.

"I don't know." Percy helpfully provided. Chiron probably didn't show him the orientation video, did he? Chiron had never needed to show me, considering he explained everything on the way over to Long Island on the plane. Anyway, it's obvious Percy has no idea that he just used his demigod powers.

Clarisse stood up in the doorway. She was completely soaked and had a look of pure rage on her face. "You are dead, new boy! You are totally dead!" Yeah, she was done. I was putting an end to this.

I stood in the doorway, blocking her entrance. "Yeah, no. You're done." I said simply. I used my wind manipulation to dry myself, although I felt a little damp and heavier. Yeah, that was going to annoy me the entire day.

"Get out of my way, Zane! I'm going to-!" I tapped her on the side of the neck, sending enough electricity to render her unconscious. She had caused enough trouble today, so I'd be damned if I let her cause more. I turned to her siblings as she flopped to the ground. "Take her back to her cabin. Now." Her siblings scrambled up from the soaked ground and carried her off, presumably in the direction of the Ares cabin.

Taylor, who was the last one standing outside, groaned. "You know she's gonna blame me for this, right?" I used my wind powers to dry him off, but his hair was ruined. He gratefully said his thanks before messing with the shaggy mane that was now his damp red hair.

I shrugged. "Don't worry, she won't do anything. If she does, come to me. I'll take care of it." Taylor nodded and I turned back to the scene of Percy looking up at a drenched Annabeth. Percy must have asked Annabeth a question, as she just stood there in thought, looking at Percy.

"I'm thinking I want you on my team for Capture The Flag." Looking for every advantage you can get, huh Annabeth? I wanted to put the hurt on Clarisse and her ego because she was... well, Clarisse. So I would give Annabeth the ultimate advantage.

"Yo, Annabeth." The daughter of wisdom turned to me, dripping with water. "Count me in on your team in Capture the Flag. I got a bone to pick with Clarisse." Annabeth nodded, taking the help of yours truly. She knew if I was on her team on Friday, she would win no question.

Percy finally seemed to pay attention to me. "Uh, quick question." I turned towards the son of...uh, someone and crossed my arms. I'll admit, I'm a little disappointed. Maybe his Minotaur fight really was a fluke. Yeah, he made Clarisse look like an idiot, but that's super easy. "Who are you two?" He motioned to me and Taylor, who was standing in the doorway, trying to wrangle his hair under control.

Oh. I guess he must have not really noticed us earlier. I pointed my thumb to my chest. "I'm Zane Williams, son of Zeus," I motioned to Taylor, who was growing increasingly frustrated with his now crazy hair. "That's Taylor Smyth, son of Ares." Percy looked oddly at Taylor, for reasons you could probably guess.

Annabeth looked at me. "Can you finish the tour for him? I have to go train." I had never really given anyone a tour before, but I've been going here for a year and a half. I know the place like the back of my hand.

"Sure. Percy, right?" Said kid nodded at my question. "Alright, follow me. I'll continue your tour." Percy stood from the ground he was kneeling on and we left for the door way of the bathroom. "You wanna come with, Taylor?" I asked my best friend. He looked caught up, literally, in his own hair, which was tangled from the water.

Taylor shook his head. "I gotta fix this.." Taylor gestured towards his nightmare of a hairstyle "..mess." I shook his hand free of any water. "Anyway, I'll see you at dinner, Zane." I nodded and said goodbye before motioning to Percy to follow me.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

I asked Percy about what he had seen of the camp so far, and I continued the tour from there. I showed him the the metal shop, the arts and crafts room and the climbing wall. Yeah, the one with the lava. Had some good memories with Taylor, trying to beat Luke in a climbing competition. Luke always beat us, thanks to his Hermes powers, but that didn't stop the two of us from trying our best to win.

I took Percy to the canoeing lake, the place he said his tour had started. I stopped walking and leaned up against the railing on the side of the lake. "Alright, Percy. I got to get to class. The Athena kids will flay me if I miss Secret Greek History class. Dinner will be at seven thirty, so just follow your cabin to the pavilion and all will be well."

Percy fidgeted under my look, which I didn't really mean to make so intense. "Sorry about the toilets, Zane." Oh. That's what he was so worried about.

I waved him off. "Don't worry about it. I never used that bathroom anyway. Also, you made Clarisse look like an idiot on your first day, only I've been able to do that before. You're alright." I said as I playfully punched his shoulder, careful to not send him flying a hundred feet.

Percy didn't really respond to my praise. He just muttered to himself, "It wasn't my fault." I looked at him like he had grown two heads. Did he really believe that or was he making excuses? Come on, Percy. Do you think the water just felt pity for you and decide to screw up Clarisse's day or something? I didn't voice my thoughts before realizing one thing.

"Oh, yeah. You have to talk to the Oracle." The Oracle gives you a prophecy when you arrive at camp. Every new camper has to speak with The Oracle. Even me. Problem was that I don't even remember the prophecy that it gave me. It must have not been that important if I didn't remember it.

"Who's the Oracle?" Percy asked. I swear, his expression of confusion must have been his default facial expression.

I chuckled. "It's not that simple, Percy." I shrugged. "You can't really describe the Oracle. Everyone has their own experience with it." His confusion did not wear off. "You'll understand when you meet them."

Percy stared down into the lake, no doubt irritated at my vagueness. He's probably thinking, 'I wish someone would give me a straight answer for once.' Yeah, me too, dude. Vagueness is just something that is naturally with this camp. You get used to it.

Percy waved at something in the lake. Confused, I follow his view and found two Naiads waving at him. The Naiads looked to be around the age of a teenager, although thanks to Secret Greek History class, I knew they were likely several centuries old. The Naiads were very beautiful, I had to admit. Almost exotic looking. But I knew better than to get involved with a Naiad. Not to mention I was only twelve.

I chuckled at what Percy was doing. "Don't encourage the Naiads, Percy." I shook my head. "Not if you value your manhood."

Percy looked like Annabeth had earlier. Done with this shit. "Naiads." Percy said, sounding completely dead. "That's it. I want to go home now."

I shook my head. "Not going to happen, unfortunately for you." Percy looked at me, a questioning gaze adorned on his features. "This is the only place safe for people like us, Percy."

"You mean, mentally disturbed people?" Percy asked. I wouldn't normally blame him, but come on dude. You're literally holding a fucking Minotaur horn covered in dried blood.

"No, dipshit. Demigods." I said, done with Percy denying the obvious. I decided to elaborate. "Also known as Half-Bloods. I don't exactly use that term, though. Makes me sound a little racist if I am being honest." I shrugged. "Demigods are exactly what they sound like. Half god, half human. You're one of us."

Percy looked lost. "God. Half god." Wow, he must have had a really shitty life if he still isn't fully accepting his situation, huh? My life was alright before Jacob got murdered and my mom got eaten by a bunch of cannibalistic Mycenaean giant dudes. I accepted my situation rather quickly.

"Yep. You're a demigod." I gestured towards the sky. "You're divine parent is one of the twelve Olympians." I looked down at the ground, hand on my chin in thought. "Although, you could be a child of one of the minor gods or maybe even one of the Titans. But that's really rare, so just assume your parent is one of the big twelve." I finished, shrugging.

"That's...crazy." Percy said, still unsure.

"Not as crazy as thinking that a big man in the sky sent his son down to get murdered by a bunch of Romans so all the people who believe won't burn in Hell for eternity." I challenged, eyebrow raised. "Or if you believe that He's not real, then it's not as crazy as believing the entire universe came from nothing but quantum fluctuations, huh?" I through my hands up. "I don't know how, or why, but the Greek gods are real and still around today. Now get that through into your mind. That's your reality now."

Percy was quiet now. He didn't put up anymore useless resistance with all the facts slammed straight into his face. He seemed in thought, processing that this was his life now, and there was nothing he could do about it. He broke the silence with a question. "You're father was Zeus, right?" I nodded. "What's he like as a father?"

I scoffed before chuckling. "A real shitty one." Thunder boomed in the distance. I didn't care. "I've never really met him. Not really, to be honest." I turned to look out at the lake. "The only time I've ever really seen him was at the winter solstice last year. All the year round campers-the ones who stay here all year- took a field trip to Olympus. Every solstice, the gods have some big meeting. Don't know why, don't care. I saw my father there. He didn't even speak to me. I don't blame him, mainly since he was the one running the entire thing, you know, as king." I turned back to Percy and shrugged. "So I don't know what kind of father he really is. Just that he hasn't been one to me." Thunder rumbled in the distance again, but this time it felt less angry, more subdued.

Percy stood in silence before asking, "What about my dad?"

I gestured towards him. "You're Undetermined. It means your father is someone who nobody knows." I never was an Undetermined. I was claimed by my father before I even went on my first tour of the camp, so I was placed right into Cabin One.

Percy looked a little sad. "My mom had to have known." Aw, I was going to hate to shatter this poor boy's dreams.

"Not necessarily, Percy. The gods do not always reveal their true selves to the mortals they lust after." It was the harsh truth. I didn't even know if my own mother knew about Zeus. She never really got the chance to tell me.

Percy wasn't having that. "My dad would have told her. He loved her."

I wasn't going to sugar coat it. "Again, not necessarily, Percy." Uh oh, he looked a little angry now. "The gods are often busy and we're usually not important enough to reach their notice." I picked up a rock and skipped it across the lake, cheating by using my wind powers. "What I mean is that the gods don't always care for us. They ignore us unless they need something done." I finished bitterly.

Percy was silent for a minute. "So I'm stuck here, for the rest of my life?" He didn't really seem to happy about that. I mean, honestly, who would?

I shook my head. "Not always. Some campers stay only in the summer, like Demeter and Aphrodite's children." I scoffed a little. "They are too weak for most monsters to really care about them. I know you're not their child, considering you have an actual mom and you had the fucking Minotaur attack you right outside camp. Most of us stay here year round, however. Monsters can sense you. They call it The Scent." Percy looked a little weirded out by the name.

I laughed. "Creative, eh? Anyway, monsters will hunt you down, usually when you turn around eleven to twelve years old. That's when most of your power's start to develop. If you live outside the camp, you'll probably be hunted down by monsters and given a fate worse than death. Only the best of the best can make a life outside of camp."

Percy looked like he understood. "So, you're a year rounder?"

I nodded, pulling my leather necklace with the bead on it from my shirt. "Yeah. I don't exactly have a home to go back to, considering my mom gotten eaten by Laestrygonian giants." I gestured to the necklace. "You get a bead for every year you stay here. I've been here for a year and a half, so I only have one bead so far." Percy looked a little miffed since I casually dropped the fate of my mother. It had been awhile, so I was mostly over it now.

"Alright" Percy said in acknowledgement of my explanation. "So if I left right now, it would be alright?"

I shrugged. "If you were well trained, had a weapon and permission from Chiron and Dionysus, yes. But there's not really anywhere to go. This is the only safe haven for us demigods, so if you left, you'd only endanger yourself and everyone around you. So don't bother." I forgot to mention something to the new camper. "Oh, there's also quests, but those are rare." I didn't stop for him to ask what quests were, as I had every intention to answer that question. "Quests are whenever the gods want something done or some other shit, but they don't or can't do it themselves. So they pawn the quest off on us, their barely remembered demigod children."

Percy stood in silence once more, trying to think of something to ask me. "Uh...back in the sick room, when Annabeth was feeding me that food-"

"Ambrosia." I interrupted, informing him.

"Yeah, that." Percy looked out at the water. "Annabeth asked me if I knew anything about the summer solstice. Do you know anything? I don't know what she was talking about."

I shrugged. "I don't personally know anything about it, but Annabeth has been bitching about it for a good while now, especially since you arrived. She said Chiron and the satyrs have been talking about it or something." I joined Percy at the railing. "I guess something major is going on at Olympus. But I don't personally know anything so don't quote me on anything, okay?"

Percy had a question for me. "Yeah, about Olympus." I looked at him. "You said you went there during the winter solstice. Where exactly is Olympus?" I guess Chiron didn't really tell him that or Percy must of forgot. Whatever, I'll fill in the blanks.

I pointed vaguely at the sky. "Olympus is in New York, above the Empire State Building." Percy's patented confused look appeared on his face, so I elaborated for him. "It's like there, but not there, you know? I don't really understand it myself, but it probably is either hidden by the Mist or exists in like it's own special dimension or something above New York. Probably the second one, otherwise a lot of plane crashes would happen."

I could see my explanation still didn't really get to Percy's head, but I didn't bother to elaborate more for him. He suddenly smelled something, which prompted me to smell as well. Barbecue. Guess that's what we were going to have for dinner tonight. Meh, wasn't the biggest fan of barbecue. Percy's stomach audibly growled and I laughed a bit. "Anyway, I gotta at least get to the last part of the history class I mentioned earlier, or Annabeth is gonna castrate me. Later."

I left Percy on the dock of the canoeing lake, racing towards the inner camp, hoping that I wasn't too late for the class.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

(Later That Night)

Dinner was a loud affair, as it always was.

The pavilion, which was just a bunch of stone tables and benches on a wooden platform, was packed to the brim. The entire camp, which was around one hundred demigods, around eighty satyrs and a couple dozens Naiads and Nymphs, were sitting in their designated tables. There were maybe around twenty or so tables all together, lined up in rows of three. Our main trainer Chiron and our camp director, the always divine looking Dionysus, or as he wishes to be called, Mr. D.

Normally dinner would be a lonely affair, considering I was the only child of Zeus still living. Yeah, I heard about the whole Thalia Grace thing. Real tragic, although I guess she wasn't anywhere near as powerful as I am. For the first month or so, I was lonely during dinner. I had no one to sit with and watching every other cabin have several members, all carrying on their own conversation, that really made me sad.

But once me and Taylor became friends, everything at dinner changed. Taylor began to sit with me, as opposed to his own cabin. At first Chiron told him to quit it, but Taylor managed to convince him that I needed someone to sit with. Chiron relented and allowed Taylor to sit with me during lunch, but he tolerated no one else straying form the rules.

"So how did your tour go, Zane?" Taylor said at dinner. Taylor's hair was now fixed, no longer tangled and messed up from the water Percy used to humiliate Clarisse.

I shrugged. "It went fine, for a first tour. Percy didn't really want to believe the whole godly stuff at first, but then again, no one really does at first." I sighed. "The tour was honestly really boring. I already know this whole place by heart and I understand why I had to tour him, but why did Annabeth have to drop him off on me of all people." I spotted Percy at the Hermes cabin table, halfway on the corner of the bench.

I banished these thoughts from my mind. "Anyway, enough about my day. How was yours, Taylor?"

Taylor sighed. "Could have been better, if I'm being honest" Taylor played with a few curls in his hair, thinking about the day he was about to tell me about. "I had music class with the Apollo kids, and you know how bad I am at music." Yeah, Taylor was god awful at singing or playing with instruments. I don't know if it was a son of Ares thing or not, but I know I've never seen an Ares kid play anything.

Our beginning conversation was interrupted by Chiron when we heard him shout out his customary, "To the gods!" Honestly, I never understood the whole thing with attributing everything to the gods, even food. It's not like they created the world, so why are we thanking them? Anyway, everyone at the pavilion shouted the same thing back at Chiron and the wood nymphs started to pass the food out. I picked up my goblet and said, "Grape Powerade." With that, the purple sports drink manifested into the goblet, and I took a sip.

After I got my drink, me and Taylor stood up to join the rest of the campers in the center of the pavilion, where the fire rested. I was only going to sacrifice a bread roll for Zeus. He might not exactly be happy with the sacrifice, but after several years of getting nothing from nobody, he probably wasn't going to complain. "Father." I tossed the roll into the fire, to be greeted by the patented sacrificial burning smell. The smell was amazing, like homemade bread right from the oven.

When we had all finished our meals, Chiron slammed his hoof into the ground to gain our attention. Dionysus, stood up from his picnic table, groaning. Every time I looked at Dionysus, I was enraptured. Look, not in a gay way, but Dionysus was probably the most beautiful person I had ever seen. His curly, medium length brown hair along with a perfect, handsome face. His athletic frame, covered by a gold and white toga. It must have been from the fact that Dionysus is a god. That's why he is so handsome. Probably.

Sighing, Dionysus addressed us. "I suppose I should say hello to all you brats. Well, hello." Dionysus did a little derpy wave that almost made me giggle. Dionysus motioned to Chiron. "Our activities director, Chiron, says the next Capture The Flag Event is on Friday, in three days. Cabin Five currently holds the laurels." Cue the cheers of the Cabin Five table. Whatever, the only reason they even hold the laurels is because me and Taylor carried them last time.

Dionysus continued. "Personally, I don't care, but congratulations, I guess." The god looked like he just remember something. "Oh, I should also tell you that we have a new camper today, Peter Johnson." There goes Dionysus purposely forgetting our names again.

Chiron whispered something to Dionysus. Dionysus visibly rolled his eyes. "Er, Percy Jackson. That's right. Hurrah, and all that." Dionysus made a gesturing motion towards the sky. "Now run along to your silly campfire and all that. Go on."

Cue everyone cheering after Dionysus finishes his speech and leaving for the amphitheater where the bonfire was located. I always loved the feeling of the bonfire. The songs, the atmosphere, the warmth. Everything. Today wasn't really a bad day, if I was being honest. Maybe I got a little wet when Clarisse took an initiation too far, maybe I had to take a kid who wouldn't accept the truth on a tour, but honestly? I loved it here. I spent the rest of the night looking into the night sky with Taylor, pointing out which constellations where what.

(May 31st, 2006, Three days later)

The next three days were rather normal. No crazy monster attacks, no new campers, no new swirlie initiations. Just days filled with combat training, classes and chores. Taylor and I would continue our two man duels against Luke, not really mattering if we would win or lose. Secret Greek History class was just as boring as ever, having lost it's luster after the first week of classes. Honestly, combat classes and any physical training is the only thing I actually applied myself in.

However, Friday, the day of the Capture The Flag event is where everything really went down. It first started with combat training in the arena that day, around noon, me and Taylor were training with Luke and Cabin Eleven. We had just completed our daily duel with Luke, narrowing losing this time. Luke had managed to disarm Taylor before I could reach him and Luke was too fast for my base form. I knew I could easily annihilate Luke in my Thunder form if I really wanted to, but the point of training was to get stronger, something I could never do if I used my Thunder Form all the time.

The real interesting thing was when Luke started to give Percy his first combat lesson. Percy couldn't exactly find a weapon that was right for him. Every weapon, in Percy's words, was 'too heavy, too light or too long.' Maybe he just needed to find a weapon that symbolizes his divine parent when he find out who they are? That's what worked with me, considering I used a Labrys, a weapon that Zeus uses to control the weather in mythology.

Eventually, Luke announced that everyone would be dueling in pairs, choosing Percy as his dueling partner. I fought Taylor, which was a fight that could never really end. Taylor was too fast for me to hit, and I was too tough for Taylor to damage me. Taylor would always fight conservatively against me, knowing if I landed a blow, he was done for. He started fighting this way after I one shot Luke with my Labrys one time in our two man duels.

When Percy and Luke's duel started, I had to admit, I was a little disappointed with Percy. Yeah, he killed a Minotaur and could apparently control water, but he wasn't super talented with a sword. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was using a sword that didn't really connect with him and also say this was his first day. Maybe I had gotten my hopes up for a true rival that would push me to the limits after he killed the Minotaur.

Percy, predictably, got destroyed. For about ten minutes straight. It appears Luke was trying to beat combat instincts into him, like he had done with me. I applauded Luke's methods, as it honestly worked. Did for me anyway. After Percy's asskicking was finished, Luke called for a break. I didn't really need it to be honest, but Taylor looked dead on his feet. The son of Ares didn't exactly have the highest stamina.

After the short water break, Luke called out to everyone. "Okay, everybody, circle up!" We did ask he asked, forming a large circle around him. "If Percy doesn't mind, I want to give you all a little demo." Wow, Luke. I guess it was beat on Percy day, huh? I didn't say anything however, This was going to push the new kid to get better.

Luke started to describe a technique where you could twist the enemies' blade with the flat of your own sword, so you could force them to drop their own weapon. Yeah, I knew that technique very fucking well, because it's a favorite of Luke's. He used it against me and Taylor constantly in our duels. Luckily for us, the technique's use was diminished somewhat when the other's weapon wasn't a sword. Taylor used a spear, while I used a Labrys.

"This is very difficult." Luke clarified. "I've had this technique used on me before." I wonder who could have used it against Luke. I never used the technique, as it was made for a sword. There was no better fighter than Luke in the entire camp, so who could Luke have learned it from? "No laughing at Percy, now. Most swordsmen have to work years to master this technique." Luke demonstrated the technique on Percy in slow motion so we could all get a good look at it. I didn't need one, considering I have plenty of experience with it.

"Now in real time." Luke said. "We keep sparing until one of us pulls in off. You understand?" Percy nodded. With that, they began to spar. Percy lasted way longer than I was expecting. He even seemed to be keeping up with Luke. My eyes widened. Not even I could do that for as long as Percy was doing it. Luke would use his superior speed against me and I would be disarmed by now. What the fuck?

Their spar continued. I could tell Percy was starting to tire. His arms were shaking slightly and his footwork was beginning to falter. I could tell Percy was going to lose in a little bit, but he managed to astound me with how long he lasted. But suddenly, he performed the disarming method on Luke. And it worked.

Luke's sword flew from his hand and slammed to the ground with a clang. The entire group, me included looked on in sheer disbelief. Luke, the best swordsmen in three hundred years, who requires two of the strongest demigods to be able to fight him, was just disarmed by a newbie with a unbalanced sword. Percy lowered his sword, his face red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry."

Luke, and in extension us, were gobsmacked. Luke recovered first. "You're sorry?" Luke's face broke into a grin. "Why the hell are you sorry, Percy? Show me that again!" Percy obviously didn't want to, but he also didn't want to try to say no to Luke. The second time they went at it, the fight went how I expected it to go the first time. Percy stood no chance and was completely overpowered.

We were all silent once more, before Taylor spoke up fro the crowd and said, "Beginner's luck?" Even he didn't believe it, but we had no other idea what just happened. Well, I did. Obviously the powers of his divine parent just activated temporarily. I had that happen before, back at my school. When I killed the first Laestrygonian giant, my superhuman strength and speed abandoned me. However, ever since my second battle with the Laestrygonians, my powers returned permanently.

Luke looked at Percy after wiping sweat from his brow, interest clear on his face. "Maybe." He put a hand to his chin. "Lets see what he can do with a balanced sword, though." Unfortunately, no weapon in the entire arena felt right for Percy, which, in my opinion, confirms that he has to have a special weapon connected to his heritage, which we don't know yet. But I had my suspicions.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Dinner tonight was a rather quick affair. Not as much ceremony as we usually have. We had an awesome event coming up. Capture the flag. Honestly, the only time I can really put my skills to use outside of training. Capture the Flag was basically like some kind of war game. We went into the woods, had two flags for two teams, and fought. There wasn't much in the realm of reward, except for the laurels, but no one except Ares cabin really gave a shit about those. No, what everyone was in it for was bragging rights. That was the best part.

This time I was on Annabeth's team, meaning Luke was also on my side. All three of us agreed that Ares Cabin had gotten a little too big for their britches, and it was time to knock them down a peg. Unfortunately, that meant I had to go up against Taylor, who was part of said Ares Cabin. Our battles ended in stalemates constantly, due to how we fought. But with Luke on my side this time, we were sure to win. I was going to do my best to beat Taylor without his help, though.

When the fateful time came, I joined up with me team at the pavilion after dinner. Luke was with his cabin, talking with Percy, while Annabeth was in the middle of strategizing with a few Athena and Apollo kids. I guess I should make my presence known. Not caring that I was going to interrupt the meeting, I walked up to Annabeth and tapped her on the shoulder.

Annabeth turned around, looking a little annoyed she was interrupted. But when she saw me, her face softened. "Zane. Good, you're here."

I nodded. "What's the plan?" I bet she was going to send me to fight Taylor, as he was the most dangerous person on the enemy team. Watch.

Annabeth turned back to her meeting, motioning me to follow. "You're going to be going after Taylor." Ha! Knew it. Annabeth was as predictable as she was smart. "He's the main threat, with his speed and all. We have a diversion planned to obtain the flag, but Taylor could ruin that plan."

I nodded, understanding my purpose. "Got it." I didn't necessarily have to defeat Taylor, just keep him distracted for a while. Considering how our fights always go, That wasn't exactly going to be too hard. But this time, Taylor was done.

Before she could say anything else, The sound of Chiron's hoofs walking onto the marble of the pavilion got our attention. "Heroes!" Chiron's voice boomed out, not sounding too forceful or loud, but everyone could hear it perfectly. "You know the rules. The creek is the boundary line. The entire forest is fair game. All magic items are allowed. The banner must be prominently displayed, with no more than two guards. Prisoners may be disarmed, but may not bound or gagged. No killing or maiming is allowed. I will serve as referee and battlefield medic. Arm yourselves!"

Chiron did his trick with the weapons appearing on the table. I don't know exactly how he does that, but I know he isn't just making them appear. I made no move to grab t any weapons, as I had my Labrys strapped to my back, as always. I, however, did put on a suit of bronze armor that was about my size. I didn't exactly need it, but I liked the feel of wearing armor into battle. It

made my role playing side feel giddy.

Once we were all properly armed and armored, our team leader, Annabeth let out a commanding order. "Blue team, forward!" Our team let out a battle cry as we began a jog to the southern area of the woods. The red team let out jeers and taunts as we passed by them. I simply flipped them off the entire time as we ran by, smile on my face.

I knew my orders. So when we reached the woods, I broke apart from the main group. I climbed the nearest tree and sat on one of the branches, letting my sense feel the forest. I could feel the aura of everyone in the camp, but I was searching for one specific aura. Taylor. I found him, racing towards the south woods. His speed and great fighting ability made him a great vanguard. No one except Luke and I could actually fight him, meaning he'd bulldoze anyone else he ran into. I knew I wasn't going to catch him in time before he found the flag, so I activated my Thunder form.

Boom!

The sound of a lightning bolt slamming into the ground could be heard over the entire forest as I entered my thunder form. The power of my father entered my body as lightning encircled me. I opened my now glowing electric blue eyes as I zeroed in on Taylor's aura. I light the wind flow through me as it carried me into the air, propelling me to Taylor's location.

It only took a few second, thanks to the speed that my Thunder form granted me. I blurred in front of Taylor's sprinting frame, making the son of Ares stop in his tracks. He looked in fear at my lightning encased form, wondering if I was truly going all out. His face relaxed as I let my Thunder form melt away, floating back towards the ground.

"How many times have we fought?" I asked as I touched the ground. I withdrew my Labrys from it's sheathe on my back before hoisting the massive double sided axe on my shoulder lazily. The wind around the two of us started to pick up.

Taylor grinned, brandishing his spear and shield. "It's hard to remember." We began to encircle one another. I entered my own combat stance as Taylor entered his. I twirled my Labrys, causing the wind to channel through it.

I pointed my Labrys at him. "One last time. For all the marbles." Taylor nodded and with that we charged each other. I swung my Labrys in a overhead slashing move down at Taylor, not really expecting to hit him. I wasn't surprised when he dodged to the side, attempting to slam the tip of his spear into the side of my torso. I was forced to pull my Labrys back and deflect the jab with the handle of my weapon. The force of my deflect nearly sent the spear flying from Taylor's hand, but he managed to keep a hold off it.

For several minutes, the fight continued like this. I would swing at him, he would dodge and attack me then I would pull back and defend. Rather simple if you imagined it, but since we were demigods, the fights was uprooted trees and shattering the ground.

Suddenly, Taylor became a blur before hitting me across the face with his shield. I may have superhuman durability but the force of the hit still rattled my brain. Also not to mention Taylor got his shield enchanted to release a concussive force when it is used as an offensive weapon. I staggered back, however I recovered quickly. If I was any other demigod, that blow would have sent them to the floor, dazed and barely conscious.

I tried to defend against any incoming attacks, however, Taylor was going all out now. His speed was probably comparable to the Flash or something. I could barely see him move, much less react to his attacks. Taylor's spear slammed into my breastplate, staggering me once more. I felt my armor bend from the force of the blow. That shot probably would have actually pierced my skin if I wasn't wearing armor. Guess I was going to have to get serious if I wanted to win this.

I used my wind manipulation to create some distance between me and Taylor. Taylor tried to regain that distance, but I hit him with a blast of wind, sending him back. I loved doing that. It felt like I was using the Force or something. I channeling my wind abilities again to gather broken stones and rubble on the ground. I started to propel them at Taylor, who bolted around me in circles trying to dodge the shower of rubble. I knew when I ran out of rubble he was going to come straight for me. I was counting on it.

While I was throwing rocks at Taylor, I was subtly channeling lightning in my other hand, which hung at my side. When I ran out of rubble, Taylor bum-rushed me as soon as my attack was done. He ran towards me in a straight line, right into my path of attack. I let my lightning loose like a spear, straight at Taylor's chest. But Taylor was fast enough to bring his shield up just in time. The lightning struck Taylor's shield causing his concussion enchantment to go haywire, and the lightning to power it. The shield let out a massive concussive blast and sent Taylor and I flying several meters away, before exploding into a flurry of lightning.

Both me and Taylor were stunned for a split second, something like that had never happened before in our duels. I couldn't let a chance like this go to waste, however. I can apologize to him later about the shield. I charged Taylor, Labrys in the air ready to strike. He barely recovered in time to dodge my strike, trying to create a gap between us. I wasn't going to let that happen, so I summoned a gale of wind to pull him back to me.

The wind propelled Taylor back to my direction, allowing him to come into melee range. I swung my Labrys in a downward arc. Taylor barely brought his spear up to block my axe, but the force of my swing shattered his spear in two. I stopped my axe right before it collided with his head. I created a wind twister around him, to restrict his movements and make him unable to escape. "Surrender." I told him, looking him straight in the eye.

Taylor's face was impassive for a few seconds, before he broke into a slight smile. "Alright, ya got me."

I released the wind tornado around him, before helping him up off the ground. "Sorry about your, shield...and your spear." I said awkwardly, admitting I just destroyed both of his weapons. Taylor laughed before waving me off.

"Don't worry. I can get the spear repaired." Taylor dusted his legs off, which were covered in dirt and small cuts. He picked up the two broken pieces of his spear, looking at the as if he was analyzing a math problem.

I still felt bad, though. "But what about your shield?" I asked. Taylor turned to me, taking of his helmet and then raising an eyebrow. "Your shield was enchanted, so you can't just simply get a fix for it, Also, it exploded!" Yeah, I'm not too sure how that happened, but I do know I feel terrible. Taylor's had that shield since he started training with me and Luke.

Taylor shrugged. "It's fine, Zane. Nothing we can do about it. It exploded, remember?" He giggled a bit. "That was really cool! How did that even happen?" Guess he was just as confused about it as I was.

I cocked my head. "Not sure. Maybe the lightning overloaded the enchantment or something? Never heard about that happen before though.." I started to ramble on about the possibilities of the explosion, before me and Taylor heard cheering throughout the forest. "I guess the plan worked." I smirked.

Taylor looked confused. "Plan? What plan?" Oh boy, he has no idea.

I decided to tell him. The cheering off in the distance could be from the Ares cabin, so the plan could have failed, but assuming Clarisse is as dumb as I think she is, the plan should have worked. Especially if Annabeth was the one to come up with it. "This whole thing was a diversion. I don't know the main specifics of it, but I was sent to distract you long enough to make sure you didn't figure out what we were doing."

Taylor's face was blank for a couple of seconds before he facepalmed. "Dammit." I laughed as he groaned in irritation of being duped. Taylor and I follow the source of the cheering, to the creek. Unsurprisingly, Luke held the red banner of the Ares cabin, our team around him, cheering. Luke was up on a couple of camper's shoulders, taking in his moment of glory.

Luke saw the two of us standing off to the side and hopped down from his teammates shoulders. He grinned at the two of us. "Zane, Taylor. I guess your diversion worked, huh?" On cue, I chuckled while Taylor groaned, causing Luke to laugh. Luke stabbed the banner into the ground, propping it upright. "Did one of you manage to win at least?" The son of Hermes asked with the signature Hermes grin.

I smirked and pointed my thumb to my chest. "I won this time." Honestly, it was quite the achievement. Ever since the two of us began training under Luke, we had been neck and neck in fighting skill. The fact that I was the first to break our seemingly infinite amount of fights that ended in a stalemate was amazing. To me, at least.

Luke looked surprised while Taylor crossed his arms, not having any real anger in his pose. Luke was about to say something, probably a stupid joke or jab, before he was interrupted by something. A dark howl. Everyone by the creek froze. Chiron shouted "Stand ready! My bow!" in ancient Greek. Everyone drew their weapons, including me. Taylor didn't have a weapon, however that didn't stop him from taking a fight stance.

I steeled my Labrys, ready for an attack from any angle. Then, I saw it. A massive black hound the size of a rhino. It had glowing red eyes and fangs that even a sabretooth tiger would be jealous of. It stood on Zeus' Fist, a large pile of rocks and boulders close to the river, which meant it was behind us. Suddenly, the massive hound lunged forward, attacking a camper. A camper I recognized as Percy Jackson.

I threw my Labrys like a tomahawk. It went flying through the air, encased in lightning and wind. The hound was in the process of ripping into the new campers intestines before my Labrys slammed into it's neck, killing it instantly. The hound's corpse faded into golden dust as I used the wind to propel my Labrys back to my hand. I ran up to the downed Percy Jackson, who had Annabeth and Chiron tending to him.

Percy laid on the ground, blood everywhere. His torso had been ripped open, as if he wasn't even wearing armor. His hands twitched as he lay in Annabeth's lap. He seemed barely conscious. His entrails hung from his torso, torn to pieces. I nearly gagged at the site. Yeah, I'd sent some fucked up shit, namely when those Laestrygonians ate my mom, but this was a new level. How the hell was he even alive. I realized it was because he was a demigod. If Percy was a human, he would probably be dead now.

"Di immortales!" Annabeth exclaimed, staring in horror at Percy's torn form. "That was a hellhound from the Fields of Punishment. They don't...they're not supposed to..." Annabeth lost her words as she processed what had just happened.

"Someone summoned it." Chiron declared. "Someone inside the camp." Chiron looked around at the campers, suspicion in his eyes. Guess someone here really wanted Percy dead. From the looks of it, they were going to get their wish.

A potential suspect spoke up. "Percy summoned it! It's all his fault!" Clarrise shouted. Okay, what the fuck? Is she seriously that brain dead to believe that the twelve year old new kid knows how to summon a hellhound? Enough of this shit.

"Will you shut the fuck up, you godsdamn retard? Do you really think he would summon something from Tartarus to rip his own guts out?" I yelled at Clarisse, defending Percy. After living here for a year and a half, I learned how to take a lot of shit from Clarisse, but this was a whole nother level of stupid.

Before me and Clarisse could argue any further, Chiron put a stop to it. "Quiet, children!" Chiron commanded in an authoritative tone. Clarisse stopped whatever retort she was about to fire back before settling to just glaring at me. I flipped her off.

Annabeth spoke up. "He's dying, Zane. Help me get him into the water." The water? I looked at her confused. What was that going to do? She saw my look of confusion. "Just do it!" I looked over at Chiron for confirmation. Chiron, face grim, nodded. I sighed, before nodding. I grabbed Percy's legs while Annabeth lifted him by his torso. We gently carried him over to the creek, before setting him down in the water.

Miraculously, Percy's grievous wounds began to heal. His torn entrails reassembled themselves into functioning intestines before going back into place in his torso. His gashes, lacerations and cuts completely healed themselves. In around a minute, Percy went from near dead to completely fine. I gaped at Percy. There's no fucking way that just happened, right?

He stood up, completely fine. He say all of us gaping at his completely fine form, before growing uncomfortable. His face reddening, he looked away. "L-Look, I-I don't know why..." As Percy spoke those words, a holographic green trident appeared over his head. He was obvious to this. "Uh, Percy." Annabeth said, pointing at the trident.

Percy looked up at the green trident. As soon as he did, it began to fade away, but I know he saw it. We all stood, gaping. Except me. I suspected this after the whole bathroom incident. "Your father" Annabeth muttered to herself. "This is really bad." She looked between me and Percy, as if we were about to immediately try to kill each other.

"It is determined." Chiron declared. I guess I had some real competition around here after all.

"My father?" Percy asked, sounding as if he just beat three powerlifers in an arm wrestle with his pinkie finger.

"Poseidon." Chiron began. "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Perseus Jackson. Son of the Sea God." Chiron finished dramatically.

Everyone stood in silence, not sure what to do or say. I chuckled. "Fuckin' called it."

Boom shakalaka. There we go. 16000+ words. Here are some things I wanna address. Number one, Taylor. I got the idea from my little sister, who suggested I should have a character to be Zane's best friend. Basically Taylor is a son of Ares femboy with red hair. He's the one who screamed: "I'm not a girl" at the end of the last chapter. Number Two, Zane is whateversexual, so I can pair him with literally anyone from the story. First character is going to be Taylor, but that doesn't mean Taylor is the only character Zane can be with. Not going to be harem story, saying that right now. But multiple relationships is more realistic that one lasting the entire story, so pairing is up in the air right now. Okay, edit time, then I'm posting this. If there's any plotholes, I'll fix it. Bye.
