I said it before, and I'll say it again. I DO NOT own the Hunger Games. The next chapter is going to be the District 10 reaping, and I'm very excited! For now, I'm limiting the number of tributes one person can submit to two, but that may change based on popularity. Thank you for taking the time to read this and share my love of the Hunger Games series!

Chapter 2

Ana Lerran

After I met with the new Head Gamemaker Elisa, I was slightly upset. I was just trying to help, and she yelled at me. I am only 16, but I was admitted to the mutt lab because I passed in my school with flying colors, and this was the job I wanted, so they gave it to me. I ran down the long hallway, then came to the thick metal door that was guarding the mutt room. I took my sanitary gloves off, placed my thumb on the hidden reader, and the door opened silently. As soon as I walked in, a dull, dingy, green light from the tanks fell over my pale face, making me look sick. I saw Lyra, one of our most senior and experienced members playing with a small vole-like creature. However, if you look closer, he has needle-sharp teeth that will poison anyone who is bitten. On another side of the room, John, another experienced member is studying how to make a tiger have skin like a chameleon's so that it can hide.

"Hey, Ana!" I heard a voice call. I turned to my side just as another metal door slid open. "Lexi!" I gasped and ran over to her. She gave me a hug, and I hugged her in return. "I haven't seen you in weeks!"

"I know! I missed you so much!" Lexi had been getting surgery done on her leg because last month, the sprained her knee and had to wear a wrap. However, in her dance tournament, she broke it badly, nearly permanently damaging her leg. However, our medics worked their magic on her, and now she is good as new! Well, almost good as new.

"How are you feeling?" I asked her.

"Great! I can walk without pain now!" She smiled, then winced. "I'm still on meds, though. I'm not fully healed yet, and they said I can't dance for two whole months!" She complained.

"Can y'all get back to work, please?" John called from his computer.

"Yup, sorry!" Lexi shrugged him off. "Did you get the list from the Head Gamemaker?"

"Oh - about that. Well, she's kind of a jerk." I said, and she giggled. "But unfortunately no, I didn't get the list. Hopefully, we will soon."

Elisa Stanica

I knew what I had to do. I had gotten an idea for the most unique, interesting, special, and entertaining arena yet! I needed the mutt creators to get working as soon as possible for this idea to work. The arena designers should have a lot of fun with this as well. But first, I needed someone special. I only know one person who has the skill set I need to make this especially exciting.

I need an illusionist.

I'm sorry the chapters are so short, once we get some more tributes they should become longer. Also, if you want to reserve a spot for tributes, PM me, and you'll have 5 days to submit before the spot is up for grabs again. Have a great day!
