Laughter could be heard throughout the night. Music was dancing across the people like a wave, bringing smiles upon their faces. Izzy was no exception. The chief was holding a huge banquet that evening and practically begged Izzy to join in the celebration. Celebrating what you may ask? Well it was Luau. Luau is one of Hawaii's best known celebrations. It's a traditional Hawaii banquet paired with the typical garlands of flowers -lei- moving at the rhythm of Hula. And they use the Luau for any celebration, for instance it was the chief's daughter's birthday and he wanted the guest of honour, aka Izzy to participate.

Izzy couldn't possibly say no. So here she was in a hula outfit which consists of a red dress, and flower necklace. She had her hair tied up in a ponytail with a hibiscus flower in it. Playing and singing on the ukulele along with the other musicians. Besides the sound of the music, the smell of the food was even better. Sweet, savoury, and spicy all mixed into one. It could make anyone's mouth water. After a couple of songs and hula dancing Izzy decided to join the feast which was being held outside. Which had a suckling pig with her name written all over it. But as she parted from the musicians she couldn't help but feel like someone was watching her. Like someone was peering into her very soul.

She shook her head. 'Nonsense. A lot of people were watching the performance so no big deal.' A young man in a white suit watched Izzy walk away to enjoy the banquet. His plum eyes couldn't keep them off her. He smirked and walked away, vanishing without a trace. After eating a good three portions of pork the chief rose from his seat which made everyone go silent. "I thank you all for joining us on this special occasion. Today my beautiful daughter Haila turns eighteen. Join me in celebrating this monumental moment!" Everyone cheered and clapped in high volume. Izzy looked at the head of the table and couldn't help but frown despite her clapping.

The Haila was an exact replica of him only in female form. But what really concerned Izzy was the girl's eyes. They looked sad with a hint of guilt. She also noticed that she kept making quick glimpses at her. 'What does she have to be guilty of? It's her birthday after all.' Izzy thought. She suddenly rose from her seat with a glass in her hand. Everyone went quiet, waiting. " I thank you all for your kindness for my special day." She paused and looked at Izzy with a small smile. "Ms. Isabella…" Izzy jumped in shock that she was addressing her and her full name at that.

"I want to thank my saviour. Without you I wouldn't be here today." Everyone nodded and agreed wholeheartedly while Izzy blushed in embarrassment. She took a deep breath. "Please can you play a song for me? Before you go back home?" Izzy looked at her with wide eyes. Her face flushed even further but she nodded in agreement.

She got up and went to the stand where all the instruments were laid out. Izzy was pretty versed on playing almost every instrument, whether it be drums, violin, guitar, harmonica, and ukulele. Her most favorite was obviously the ukulele and guitar. Izzy quickly grabbed the ukulele. She strummed the few strings, feeling her shoulders relax from the soft sound it admitted. Tuning for a minute she slowly walked back and stopped where everyone was able to see her.

Gently placing the ukulele in her arms like a newborn child she began to play the first few notes.

"The rain is proud of the cliffs

Ha'aheo ka ua i na pali

Creeping through the forest

Ke nihi a'ela i ka nahele

It may be following (Uhai) the likeness

E hahai (Uhai) ana paha i ka liko

The lehua blossoms of the uplands

Pua 'ahihi lehua o uka

Hi

Hui"

Everyone began to hum along, suddenly feelings of sadness and sorrow began to fill the air. Izzy knew that this night would be her final night but she didn't want to make anyone feel sad, so put on a smile and continued to strum.

"Greetings to you, greetings to you

Aloha 'oe, aloha 'oe

Let the sweetness dwell in the heart

E ke onaona noho i ka lipo"

Izzy could feel the tears on the corner of her eyes but continued to smile. Tonight wasn't about her it was about the chief and his daughter but Izzy couldn't help the sadness weighing on her heart. Soon everyone started to sing along. It was like they knew that this would be goodbye… forever.

"One fond embrace

One fond embrace

And I returned

A ho'i a'e au

Until we meet again

Until we meet again"

Strumming the last note everything fell silent. Izzy felt like she was in her own little world whenever she played so she was a little startled when everyone started to clap. Izzy wiped away her tears and bowed for her audience. She straightened up and looked at the daughter and saw pure guilt on her face. She looked away when their eyes met. Izzy was concerned and confused but let it slide. They weren't close even though she saved her life but Izzy found that Haila was… well not all there.

After the festivities were over everyone began to go home except for Izzy. She stayed and looked upon the sea with content. The chief's house was placed uphill, closer to the volcano than most people were comfortable with but I digress. The wind swayed her dress and brushed her hair like a gentle kiss that her body just relaxed on impact. "That is a lovely voice you have there." Izzy jumped from the sudden intrusion into her little bubble. She turned her head and saw a pretty handsome man in a white suit, black slick shoes and a white fedora hat.

His skin was pale like porcelain, his lips thin and his hair poking out of his head was black and groomed. His eyes were brown with a pink hue, looking at her like he was going to eat her. If Izzy would've known any better she would compare him to Kibutsuji Muzan from Demon Slayer. She smiled politely, trying not to laugh at her absurd thoughts. "Thank you. I've never seen you around here before?"

"I'm a friend of the chief." He replied. His voice was gentle and smooth. If Izzy was like any other girl she would've been swooning right now but she felt something off about him. "Oh well if you're looking for him they should still be in the house." She said as she pointed to the house. He raised his hand and shook his head. "No, no I didn't come here for him. I came for you." Izzy looked at him dumbfounded. 'What does he want with me?' She thought. "Oh? And what pray tell do you want with me?" She asked with a little flirtation in her voice. The man chuckled. A cold shiver went down Izzy's spin, she didn't like that laugh, not at all.

"Walk with me?" He offered his arm. It was a risky move and Muzan knew it. But he couldn't let this opportunity slide. From the first moment he saw her in that hospital he had to have her. So after many years of following her and learning about her he finally got to meet her. He fell more in love the moment she began playing and singing. But his jealousy went up ten fold when a lot of the men were eyeing her up.

He could feel his demon blood boil remembering when one of the girls he manipulated reported that young man who dared to touch her at the beach that day. Well… he made sure that dog suffered slowly and painfully tonight. He discreetly licked his lips while Izzy wasn't looking. The thought of that pathetic man's cries for mercy made him want to kill again. 'Maybe later.'

With little hesitation Izzy wrapped her arm around his. Muzan felt a shock of pleasure when her arm wrapped around his. He never felt this way before and he liked it. He liked it very much. It was like a chemical reaction when they touched each other.

They began to walk down a path that led to the beaches below the chief's house. There was silence between the two. 'What should I talk about?' She thought, not sure how to strike up a conversation. Normally Izzy could get someone to talk in seconds with her bubbly personality but with this man… She glanced up at him. 'He seems so cold… and distant.'

She began to open her mouth but Muzan beat her to it. "The moon is lovely tonight." His voice was smooth but so cold that it made Izzy shiver involuntarily once again. She looked up, not realizing that they came upon the beach already and saw the full moon hung beautiful over the water. Her face flushed at the sight. "Yes, it's a beautiful sight." Muzan looked down at Izzy with sharp cold eyes. 'Yes… beautiful.' He thought, licking his lips which revealed his fangs.

"So…" Izzy looked up at him shyly. Her face still flushed. "So…?" Muzan chuckled. Izzy let go of his arm and walked ahead a little, standing at the right spot where the moonlight shines over her like a halo. Muzan's arms twitched. Aching to bring her back to his side but he controlled himself. "Why did you want to talk to me?" Izzy asked, only showing her back to him. Muzan chuckled. "Can't a man take a walk with a beautiful woman?"

"He can but not without a motive." She turned to him with a blank face, her smile all but vanished. "So tell me sir… what is it about me that drew you to me? Maybe my appearance?" She pushed her hair behind her ear. "You say I'm beautiful but that is a lie. I'm a walking corpse. I'm pale as a ghost, I'm thin as a twig, my hair is a rat's nest, and my eyes are sinking in." Muzan's eyes darkened at her description of herself.

Izzy closed her eyes and placed her fingers against her chin in thought. "It can't be my appearance. So what could it be?" She snapped her fingers. "Ah! Is because you want to have sex? So you can boast to your friends how you got laid by this weak little girl?" She glared at Muzan, her eyes as sharp as steel. "You have that wrong. I find sex to be vulgar and disgusting matter." Muzan scoffed. "Hmmm?" Izzy smirked and walked up to Muzan, mischief clouded her eyes, melting away the cold from her eyes like the touch of spring.

She touched his tie with delicate fingers. "Don't tell me…" she tugged on the tie so hard she made him lower his head so that they were at eye level. "You've fallen in love with me?" Muzan just stared at her. A stoic expression on his face, never revealing if he were surprised, embarrassed, or anything. A small smirk came upon his lips. "Yes, I have fallen deeply in love with you. So much that…" he snaked his hand around her waist and brought her closer against his body. "I want you to be my bride."

"…."

'Huh? Huh?! What?!?!?' On the outside Izzy is cool as a cucumber but on the inside she was having a panic attack. "Haha! Come now sir, now you're taking this joke too far." She tried pushing him away but he held on firmly on her waist. "You calling me a liar?" He asked coldly. Izzy looked up at him and felt dread in her stomach. Normally her cold demeanour would throw anybody off but this man… looked like he was enjoying it. Like a cat playing chase with a mouse. And she was the mouse.

His eyes morph into cat-like slits with the colour of red plum. Veins pulsing around his temples in anger. Terror went threw her body, all her confidence and courage vanished within an instant. "W-What the hell are you?!" Izzy stuttered, trying desperately to get out of his grasp. He held her tighter, his fingers pressing against her waist too hard, leaving a nice bruise. Izzy winces at the pain. "Ha… you disappoint me. Even when we're one and the same."

"We're nothing alike." Izzy growled. For one thing she was human and this gorgeous man before her was not. 'I knew this was too good to be true!' He grasped her chin with his fingers and forced her to look into his eyes. "Oh you and I are more alike than you know. For one we both have something we want." He smiled but there was no joy behind it. "Oh? And what's that?" She hissed. He leaned down, their noses brushing against each other. But Izzy just glared at him, not backing down.

"To live." Izzy's blood ran cold at the sentence. Muzan knew he hit a nerve. He let her shove him away. Her face was flush with pure rage. 'Adorable.'

"I..I.." she looked down, the sand becoming more interesting. "Aren't you tired of being weak? Having your body break down and betray you over and over?" Izzy thought back to the times when her heart would fail if she tried to run, when she would be on death's door but revived over and over, and the many people that she loved abandoned her.

"Don't you want to be free? Feel the shackles of death breaking around your soul?" Izzy placed her hands over her ears, trying to block out Muzan's sweet and dangerous words.

"Stop…"

"I can help you. I can offer anything your hearts desire." Muzan slowly walked towards her. "Please stop it…" Izzy turned away from him. Keeping her eyes closed tightly, thinking doing that would make him go away. "My dear…" she could feel his arms wrapped around her again, his breath caressing against the shell of her ear. "Give yourself to me… eternally." She shivered, her heart thumping painfully against her chest.

His hands caressed her hips, waist and stomach. Kneading her flesh with experienced fingers. Her legs began to buckle, her skin flushing red of embarrassment. "Please…" Izzy whimpered pathetically.

Muzan got her right where he wanted her. Women always fell for his good looks and his charm and every time he wins either their heart or flesh. That is why he had so many wives. But Izzy… Oh Izzy was different. "Isabella."

Izzy turned her head and before she could even ask how he knew her name his lips were placed upon hers. Her eyes widened in shock. "Mmph?!" He grabbed the back of her neck and tilted it back slightly so he would deepen the kiss. Her body fell limp, she had never been kissed like this or even been kissed before. 'My first kiss is being taken by this lunatic?!'

She could feel his hand snake up her body and land right on her left breast and gave it a squeeze. She gasped, letting Muzan the opportunity to slip his tongue in her mouth. 'Now a French kiss!!!!?' Finally Izzy struggled to get out of his grip but he was too strong. It felt like she was fighting a horny python.

Suddenly she tasted something metallic and coppery in her mouth. "Mmmm!" She struggled even harder to get away. But Muzan was not having it. Finally after a few minutes Muzan finally let Izzy go, strings of saliva connecting their lips. The kiss made her drop to the ground coughing. "W-What?" She coughed, seeing red splattered on the white sand. Muzan smirked at what he had accomplished. To have his lips on her felt amazing. Like those corny movies that tell you 'you feel sparks when you kiss or fireworks.' He felt that but it was more of an explosion than a spark. And when he had his tongue inside her mouth… tasting her. His body shivered with pure ecstasy. It was a risky move biting his tongue and giving her his blood while kissing but it was all worth it.

"Ahhhhh!" Both of them snapped their heads towards the trail they came from and saw the chief's daughter with tears down her face and blood caked on her clothes. "M-My lord… how… how could you?" She whimpered. Muzan looked at her in indifference while Izzy looked at her in shock and concern. "Why are you covered in blood? Are you hurt?" Izzy asked, getting up from the sand.

She quickly ran over to her, forgetting about that man, the kiss and that weird substance that was in her mouth. 'Worry about that later.' She quickly grabbed Haila's hands that were ice cold to the touch. "Please tell me what happened." Izzy began but she felt a sharp sting across her cheek. The daughter slapped her so hard that it left a red hand print. "Don't touch me you little whore!" Izzy placed her hand against her throbbing cheek, not believing what just happened.

"And you!" She pointed an accusing finger at Muzan with hurt and betrayal. "How dare you! After everything I've done for you!"

"Oh? And what have you done for me my dear?" Muzan mocked. "Don't dear me! You said if I sacrificed everything then we would be together forever! That's why I…"

'What the hell is going on?!' Izzy looked at the two of them in utter confusion. 'Maybe this is the perfect chance to leave.'

"But you! You put your lips on another woman that is not my own! You touched her when it should be me you were touching! Cheater! Adulterous! Scum!" Izzy looked at Haila in pure surprise. In all the years she had known her she had never heard her cuss like that. She was tempted to give her a silent applause but resisted. "I WISH YOU WOULD DROP DEAD!" Everything felt like it was in slow motion. One moment Muzan was across from them but in a second he was right in front of her, gripping her throat with a violent grip.

"L-Let go…" she gasped, clawing at his hands to make him let go but he didn't even flinch from the small scratches. Izzy's eyes widened, her face paled. She tried to scream but nothing came out.

"You wish me dead… No, no my dear. You're the one that is dead."
