Scarlet was quite enjoying this… a little too much perhaps but there was one thing that bothered her. 'What the hell does the Lord see in her?' She looked very closely at Izzy, besides her pained expression she was not much to look at. She brought her face closer to her own. Seeing a nice, small cut on Izzy's cheek she stuck her long forked tongue out and licked at the blood that was oozing from the cut. 'Gross!' Izzy's body shivered in disgust at that demon's tongue all over her face.

After giving a few licks, Scarlet shuddered as the sweet blood coursed through her body. "Ahh… your blood is exquisite! I can't get enough! If your blood is this good I wonder what your flesh would taste like?" She rambled. Izzy knew at this point she was going to die. Even if she tried to fight it would be futile. "I can't take it! Forgive me my Lord but I must devour her!" Scarlet opened her mouth wide, showing rows of fangs like a shark ready to bite down on a seal.

"Lord… Ha! That's a good joke." Izzy coughed, blood spitting out of her mouth, staining her lips red. Scarlet paused mid bite. Izzy continued. "That man is nothing more than a coward. Using other people like yourself to do his dirty work." Scarlet quickly wrapped her clawed hand around Izzy's throat and dangled her away from her body like she was a disgusting rat. "Even in death you still run the silver tongue of yours." Izzy would've said thank you at that but was currently being choked to death.

"Hmm… I think I'll eat your tongue first so you won't say anything horrific to my Lord ever again. But before I do I'll let you have the last word before I do it. So?" She mocked, waiting on Izzy with an impatient expression. Izzy only smiled and choked out. "Just one." She paused, feeling the claws digging into her throat where they were settled against her artery. "Kibutsuji Muzan."

BA-THUMP!

Instantly Scarlet let her go, causing Izzy to plummet down. "You…You…!" Scarlet looked down at the helpless human falling towards her death. "How dare you say his name you scum! I hope you die an agonizing pain." Tears poured down her face. 'How dare she! How dare she!'

Izzy can feel Muzan's blood ripping her body apart. Her regular blood cells battling out the demon's cells. But she knew it would be hopeless. "Die! Die! Die! Die! Die-" she was cut short when Muzan came up behind her and ripped her head off. 'Huh? What?' Scarlet watches as her body falls along with Izzy. 'Who did that?' Her eyes looked up and saw a very furious Muzan. 'I didn't even see nor hear him?! What did I do? Am I dying?' She realized that she couldn't regenerate. 'Why? Why?'

"Because you disobeyed my orders. My word is law." Muzan brought Scarlet's head up to his face. "And those who disobey me shall suffer the consequences."

Falling felt like an eternity for Izzy but it was only mere minutes. Her body plunged into the ice cold water. The coldness sinking into her skin and bones. She could taste the salty water entering her mouth and nose. Her mind wants her to fight, to swim up to the surface.

Ba-thump…. Ba-thump…

But she couldn't. Izzy let the current take her down, down into the ocean depths. 'Ah… The pain… it's subsiding. It… feels…'

Ba-thump… Ba-thump…

'Peaceful.'

Ba-thump….

She closed her eyes and knew no more. But… this is not the end. Far from it. This is just the beginning.
