A woman walked along the mountains with a tired sigh. She just finished work at one of the many hot springs for a couple of smith's who over worked themselves yet again. Though she was six months pregnant she didn't mind the work, in fact she loved it. It reminded her so much of her island that she would spend hours at the hot springs without realizing it. Kale was a foreigner here in Japan. She came down when she was very young with her older brother who was doing business with one of Japan's representatives for trading.
No one really accepted her when she got married and moved here. She can't really blame them though. No one has long, thick, black curly hair like she did. Or tanned, caramel skin. Or even her choice of clothing which consists of a long, flowing skirt and a red crop top, which exposes her chest, arms and back. The locals say it's 'too revealing.'. The only thing she had in common with the people there was her eyes which were dark brown.
But she didn't care. All she cared about was her husband. Her passionate, ecrotic husband. I think we all know who I'm talking about here. You guessed it. Haganezuka Hotaru.
Kale can still recall the first time they met. Hell it wasn't even planned on how they met.

Kale was dancing the hula in a small village one day to promote her culture.
While she was getting to the quick part in the dance which consisted of a lot of hip shaking she looked up and saw a man wearing a large straw hat with wind chimes attached to the rim's. But what captivated her more was his face or rather his mask. It was strange and funny looking and had a deep blush on it. 'Can masks blush?' Kale thought. In fact she got so distracted that she missed stepped and began to fall from tripping on her own feet.
She closed her eyes tightly and waited for the impact but it never came. She slowly opened her eyes and found that the weird mask man caught her in his arms. She wanted to say thank you but the more she looked at him the more funnier it looked. A small giggle went past her lips and that was that. They were both hooked. Love at first laugh.
Now they have been married for a year and now having their first born. Though over time she did look at his handsome face besides his mask, which she was thrilled about. 'And his body is not bad either.' She blushed while recalling the memory. Kale smiled and rubbed her stomach affectionately. "Let's get back to your father now."
She quickened her steps and hurried to get home. Though her husband is probably not there. In the swordsmith village the smiths are very passionate about the swords they make for the Demon Slayer Corp. Well maybe too passionate. Kale can recall the first time Haganezuka having a temper tantrum over one of his swords being broken by a careless slayer that it took her over two hours to calm him down and even then she was told by one of the neighbours that he tried to kill the slayer while he was delivering his replacement.
You would think that kind of behaviour would make her run to the hills but nope it just made her love him more. 'I should make him mitarashi dango if he's in a bad mood today.' Suddenly she heard a small hum coming off the path of the mountain and into thick trees and bushes. It was low and deep like a flute. Kale stopped abruptly and listened closely. "Such a sad tune." She muttered. Her eyes glazed over and she ventured off the path.
The further she went in the louder the sound was. It made her heart feel heavy. 'What…?' Kale felt tears trickling down her cheeks. "Sad… so sad." Suddenly she stopped and found herself in what looked like a small lake . It had a beautiful waterfall that landed in the lake. But what was in the lake had captivated Kale's attention more than the landscape.
What stood in the middle of the lake was a beautiful man. His upper body was bare, pale as moonlight. He was muscler while his face was fair. His eyes were closed as he continued to play the flute while his long beige hair flowed in the wind.
Her face flushed. The music stopped, pulling the flute away from his plump lips. He slowly opened his eyes, revealing the cold color of teal. To Kale they seemed to glow into the night. His eyes made contact with hers, in the moment Kale felt like her heart stopped. 'What is this? I never felt like this to anyone except my husband.' Thinking about her husband made snap out of this daze she was in. She shook her head violently. 'What the hell am I doing?! No matter how handsome this man is, I'm still a married woman!'
She quickly turned to go back but… "Wait. Don't leave yet. Stay." Kale stopped, her body frozen like stone. Her eyes glazed over and she turned back to him. She slowly walked towards him. 'What? What is this?! No go back.' But her body wouldn't listen. It was like she was put under a spell. "Yes… Come to me." The man offered his hand and a smile. Kale could feel her face give a small smile in response but her mind was in complete panic mode.
'Is this perhaps… a demon?' Kale didn't really believe that demons existed. In fact when Haganezuka told her about his occupation she thought it was a joke. Even thinking the Demon Slayer Corp was just for making antique swords. Now…
Her body still moved even though her mind was in protest. She stopped at the edge of the lake. "Hmm..? Why do you hesitate, my dear?" He asked sweetly. Even though his voice was smooth as silk and his tone dripped with honey, all Kale could think about was Haganezuka. When he took her out on their first date, to him explaining in great detail about swords for hours on end, teaching him hula, revealing his face to her, and their first kiss.
Tears rolled down her cheeks. 'Haganezuka… Haganezuka… Haganezuka!'
"Oh my sweet…" He slowly walked towards her and caressed her cheeks, wiping away her tears. While her mind was distracted the man gently grabbed her by the hand and pulled her into the water where they were both wet from the waist down. 'When did he?' He looked deep into her eyes. She could feel her will power dwindling.
The more he stared the more it felt like he was looking into her very soul. "You're heart…" his right hand slowly went down slowly from her cheek to her neck then to her covered breast. Kale's heart raced as her face flushed against his touch.
"Your beauty is fair and your soul is pure, so why…" Before his eyes Kale's heart glowed a grey-blue colour. "Who has broken your heart like this?"
'My heart?' She felt something soft and cold pressed against her lips. 'Oh! My! God! He's kissing me!?' Kale's body twitched but was unable to push him away. Thankfully she didn't kiss back but she felt his tongue licking her lips. She shuddered in disgust. His hand snakes around her waist, pulling her even closer against him. 'Haganezuka!'
At the village Haganezuka was busy toiling away in his forge, creating a beautiful sword. But even though he was focused on the task at hand, his mind wandered off to his wife five hours ago.
~~~
"How can that damn, foolish boy break my sword?! Damn it!!!" Haganezuka ran around the house throwing everything he could get his hands on. Kale just stood off to the side, watching her husband have a temper tantrum. "Um… dear?"
"Ahhhh!" He ran straight into the kitchen and grabbed a couple of knives. "I'm going to kill him!!!" Tears poured down his mask while Kale grabbed his favourite dessert from the kitchen. "Yes…Yes. Now calm down and eat." She held up the dumplings in his face and instantly he calmed down. He grasped her hands in his. "You are too good for me, my darling wife!" Kale giggled and they both sat down on the veranda while Haganezuka enjoyed his dumplings.
Kale just stared at him lovingly, not able to understand how a simple treat could calm him down. While eating his dumplings he looked down at Kale and noticed her staring at him but at the same time rubbing her belly. Haganezuka felt a bitterness wash over him. Kale noticed that she stared for too long and looked away blushing.
"How… How are the dumplings? It was my first time making it." She asked but it fell on deaf ears for Haganezuka. 'It tastes bitter.' He couldn't tear his gaze from her stomach when another wave of emotion besides bitterness passed by him… resentment. "Haganezuka?" She followed his eyesight and looked down to her stomach. She smiled. "Oh my love, would you like to feel?" She quickly grabbed one of his hands and gently placed it against her belly.
Haganezuka felt sick the moment his hand felt a small kick from his wife's stomach. He loved his wife with all his heart but he never wanted kids. So when he found out that Kale was pregnant he felt absolute dread. "Oh! Our child is saying hello!" Kale blushed with a big smile on her face. 'Please don't smile like that.' He snatched his hand away and got up from the veranda.
"I have to remake that fool's sword." And turned away from her and began his walk to the forge. Kale felt her heart sink and felt tears creeping in the corner of her eyes. "It's alright dear… papa is just not used to it yet." She whispered while rubbing her belly once again, utterly alone.
Sparks shined as his hammer slammed against metal. Kale was dragged into the water, still being kissed by this mysterious man.
Bang!
Even though she was wrapped around strong, warm arms, the harsh cold water soaked into her bones. 'Oh god…' His tongue pushed its way forcefully into her mouth. 'No!'
Bang!
Something snapped. She didn't know how or why but she was finally able to break free of the trance. She pushed him away harshly. He was shocked that Kale pushed him but smiled when she saw her struggling to breathe. Water entered her mouth as she tried to breathe. She could feel the cool liquid crushing her lungs. 'Damnit! I need to swim to the surface!'
Bang!
She tried to swim up but found that she couldn't feel her legs. 'What?!'
"I made you paralyzed my dear." She looked at the man and found that he transformed. His upper body was still human but the lower half was a blue fish tail. 'Ah mermaid?!' But it wasn't the tail that made her terrified or the fact she was drowning. No… it was his face.
Bang!
His eyes turned demon like with a number embedded in his left eye ball. 'Lower Moon Four?' His mouth widened showing off his sharp fangs. Terror and panic went through her body. She thrashed her arms since it was the only thing she could move and screamed but only bubbles came out of her mouth. "Now, now my dear. If you keep thrashing like that, you'll make your death even faster." He tried to comfort Kale but he was enjoying the show.
Bang!
"You see… I don't plan to kill you. Not yet anyway." He began to swim around her in a circle like a shark. Kale can feel her consciousness slipping but could still hear him talking. "No… I want you.. I need you." He swam right up to her and held her face by her chin with his pointer finger and thumb. He placed his lips against hers once again. She struggled to get him off of her but didn't have the strength.
Bang! Bang!
When he finally let her go, Kale no longer felt her lungs burn from lack of oxygen and her mind no longer felt heavy. In fact she was able to breathe once again but she was still under water. 'Wha-?'
"I will make you mine. Before… I devour you." Suddenly floating bodies of women surrounded us with the same injury on their necks. A huge hunk of flesh ripped off their necks.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A hot searing pain shot through her body. Sharp fangs pierced her skin as his arms held her in a vice-like grip. Kale opened her mouth in a silent scream where no one could hear her. He pulled back, revealing a huge, bloody bite mark. "Now… your mine for eternity."
Haganezuka wiped his brow from sweat and laid down the finished sword. Even though the sword was beautiful and well crafted he felt no satisfaction from it like he usually did. He sighed. He knew why he was like this. Haganezuka felt guilt and shame for the fact that he despised his child before it was even born. "What is wrong with me?" He asked himself. Sighing from exhaustion he packed up the sword in a silk cloth and went on his merry way back home.
Kale emerged from the water bloody and wet. Her kimono was torn and her hair was tangled from the constant current of the lake . Her eyes were void of emotion, she painfully walked out of the water, her thighs stained with blood from her core. She was mercilessly raped and no one came to save her.
She made the long walk home, hoping and praying that she got home before her husband. Tears poured down her face as she laughed. Kale's laughter began to become louder as her mind replayed over and over of what that demon did to her. She could still feel his hot seed inside of her. She wanted to die or get herself clean. Kale felt so dirty.
Finally Kale could see her small house from a distance. It was modest, nothing to fancy. She smiled as she saw that the lights weren't on. 'I made it before him.' She sighed with relief and speed walked the rest of the way, ignoring the pain between her legs.
