Tokyo SOS
As Spider-Man drove the Spider Machine GP-7 through the industrial zone, he noted how eerily quiet it was. "Hmm", he mused, "Where are you, Hitomi?" Suddenly, an alarm went off! Then, several drones with machine guns flew down and started shooting at Spider-Man and his car! "Why did I choose to put the top down on this thing?", Spider-Man wondered aloud as he hit the accelerator. He drove through the drones, smashing them on impact!, then, he activated the tachyon transmitter. He then turned a corner and saw a swarm of drones with their guns trained on him. "Hurry up, guys", said Spider-Man! Just then, the drones were hit by lasers! The Power Rangers leaped down and used their arm blades to slice the drones that weren't hit by the machine gun fire from the Spider Machine GP-7! "Nice save, fellas", said Spider-Man, "But we're not out of the woods yet". Just then, several armed Apex guards came rushing in to attack. "We'll take the ones on foot", said the Red Ranger, "Spider-Man, can you take care of the ones with the Jeeps and drones?" "Already on it", said Spider-Man as he revved up the engine for the Spider Machine GP-7.
"Alright guys", said the Red Ranger as the guards ran at them, "Let's show these guys how we do it!" "Right", said the other Rangers. The Power Weapons teleported to their hands and the Power Rangers attacked! Some guards fired machine guns at them, but the Red Ranger blocked the shots with his armor, allowing the Black and Blue Rangers to use their weapons to slice the guns in half! Then, the three Rangers kicked the guards aside! The Pink and Yellow Rangers punched out five guards at a time, then used their weapons to impale two drones! Suddenly, a group of guards fired nets at the Power Rangers! But then, the Rangers used their arm blades to free themselves, then kicked the guards into an armored truck!
Meanwhile, Spider-Man raced through the industrial compound with several drones trailing behind him! "Let's see how these bastards like it when I shift into turbo!", said Spider-Man as he turned the Spider Machine GP-7 around! He then fired the machine guns while driving backwards, sending the drones crashing to the ground!

The Spider Machine GP-7 then raced into a parking tower, where some of the drones crashed against the concrete doorway! Ducking under some bullets, Spider-Man floored the gas as he raced up the tower, making sure to blast any drones in his way! He looked in the rear-view mirror to see five security Jeeps speeding behind him! "Perfect", smiled Spider-Man. As soon as they reached the top of the parking tower, Spider-Man blasted the concrete barricade! Then, he raced of the side of the tower and fired several nets at the Jeeps, trapping the occupants! The Spider Machine GP-7 then flew close to the Cyber Pyramid and shot down the other drones!
"This guy is full of surprises", said Walter, "I mean, a flying car? I almost feel bad for killing him". He turned to see Serpentera gearing up for a fight. Mamiya looked around the room. He saw several people at computers. Computers that had a Wi-Fi uplink to Serpentera. He flicked his wrists and his laser derringers fell from his sleeves and into his palms. "I hope you have a way out of this, Detective Mamiya", said Hitomi. "Just waiting for the right moment", smiled Mamiya. Just then, they heard an explosion! "Sir", said a guard, "The Power Rangers have broken through!" Seizing the moment, Mamiya shot at the guards holding him and the women hostage! Walter turned to attack, but Hitomi used her flash-bulb to blind him! Mamiya attached some cybernetic components to his derringers, turning them into laser handguns. Then, he shot at the computers, severing the Wi-Fi link to Serpentera, which went slack as the Spider Machine GP-7 broke through the service doors in the pit! He leaped out of his car and into the observation deck, smashing through the windows! "These guys aren't dead, right?", asked Melanie. "No, just stunned", said Mamiya, "and willing to testify". "You fools", laughed Walter, "I was prepared for just such an emergency". He pushed a button on his watch and dropped down a trapdoor! Then, the Power Rangers arrived. "Where's Walter?", asked the Blue Ranger. "Jump starting Serpentera", said Hitomi.
Walter rushed up the stairs as he discarded his coat and practically leaped into Serpentera. He strapped into a chair in the cockpit, put on some gloves and a VR headset, and turned the key in the ignition. The cockpit glowed green as the cyborg roared to life!
"The cyborg's looking at us", said the Yellow Ranger as Serpentera readied his fiery breath. Thinking fast, Mamiya took apart his hand guns and attached their cybernetic components to a radio. As soon as Serpentera blasted his flames, a force-field blocked the attack! "How'd you just do that?", asked the Blue Ranger. "It's nanotech, delivered straight from Stark Industries", said Mamiya. "That's so awesome", said the Blue Ranger, "I've actually tried making my own, but it hasn't worked out so far". "Exchange numbers later", said Melanie, "Look"! Just like that, Serpentera smashed through the walls of the Cyber Pyramid! "I hope you don't mind", said Walter over a video feed, "I just need to ensure that nobody can stop me or Apex". "Can we shut him down remotely?", asked Hitomi. "No", said Mamiya, "But check this out". Everyone looked over the computer schematics of Serpentera. "He's got a completely independent energy support system", said the Blue Ranger. "Yeah", said Spider-Man, "But what is he using?" "Looks like some of the energy Rita used to morph", said the Red Ranger. "Those samples we took from the Putties must be how he's controlling Serpentera", said Melanie, "and with something that never runs out being used to power something that can't be beaten, Walter's gone mad". "Then we'll stop him", said the Black Ranger. "I'll call in some support for you guys", said Melanie, "Just keep Serpentera from destroying the entire city". The Power Rangers and Spider-Man leaped out to follow the massive cyborg as Mamiya and Melanie fixed up the radio.
Out in Tokyo Bay, the U.S destroyer ship, Scorpion Rain, was doing a routine sail tour when the Admiral(Cameo for Austin St. John) got a call on the radio. "USS Scorpion Rain, this is Melanie Sheer of Apex Cybernetics", said Melanie, "We need an immediate assistance to the JSDF, over." The Admiral noticed the explosions in the distance. "Roger that, Miss Sheer", said the Admiral, "Sending in air support now". Just then, the Marveller flew past the Scorpion Rain. "Ground support, ready your guns and follow the robots", said the Admiral, "Bosun, ready our cannons".
As Serpentera smashed his way through Tokyo, he was hit by tank shells! Walter laughed as he fired lasers at the tanks and breathed fire onto the attacking planes! "You fools", he laughed, "There is only one man fit to have this power, and that man is me! Just then, the Tyrannosaurus Zord ran over and gave Serpentera a flying kick! The Triceratops Zord fired tank shells as the Mastodon Zord froze his feet! But then, Serpentera knocked the Zords aside with his tail! The Zords then combined and became the Mega-Tank, which then blasted Serpentera into an empty building! The Marveller flew in an shot at Serpentera with its cannons! But then, Serpentera fired lasers at the Marveller, rocking it with force of the explosions! "Marveller, change Leopardon!", said Spider-Man. The Marveller transformed into Leopardon and landed just as the Mega-Tank turned into the Megazord. The two robots prepared for battle as Serpentera roared!

Serpentera shot out a blast of fire, which Leopardon blocked with its shield! The Megazord ran forward and tackled Serpentera! But then, the cyborg broke free and did a flying kick, knocking the Megazord aside! Then, Spider-Man saw something on his scanners. "Guys, there's still people in those buildings", said Spider-Man, "Forget taking him down. Protect the bystanders!" As soon, as Serpentera fired his lasers, the Megazord ran over to catch falling debris! Serpentera then stabbed the Megazord with his tail blade! "Arm rockets", said Spider-Man. Leopardon then fired his fists at Serpentera, knocking him aside and into the missile fire from U.S Air-Force jets! "Spidey, how are the people down there?", asked the Pink Ranger. "Just fine", said Spider-Man, "Buildings are empty and everyone's in underground shelters. I don't think the people of Tokyo will mind a little property damage". With that, both Leopardon and the Megazord charged at Serpentera, smashing him through a building! Serpentera throw them off and blasted his fiery breath, which was blocked by their shields! "Spider Strings!", yelled Spider-Man, and Leopardon fired webs with the flick of its wrists, tying Serpentera to a building!
"Yo, Spider-Man", said the Blue Ranger, "Fastball special". "Right!", said Spider-Man. Leopardon grabbed the Megazord by the leg and twirled around, releasing the Megazord into air! The robot flew at Serpentera and gave the cyborg a flying kick, knocking him through two buildings! "My turn", said Spider-Man, "Laser vision!" Leopardon then fired lasers as Serpentera fired his breath, locking the beams together! The cyborg's breath sputtered, allowing Leopardon to blow a chunk off of the tail blade! Undeterred, Serpentera slashed Leopardon with his claws! But then, the Megazord kicked the beast in the face! Suddenly, the Air-Force jets flew in and fired their rockets, hitting Serpentera in its metal arm! But then, Serpentera fired his lasers, knocking the planes out of the sky!
Back on the Scorpion Rain, the Admiral was displeased. "That thing's kicking our asses out there", he said. "Admiral", said the First Mate, "We have missiles ready. Permission to fire, Sir?" "Permission granted, Officer", said the Admiral. The Scorpion Rain then fired four rockets, which exploded against the cyborg's skin!
"Now's our chance", said the Red Ranger, "Bring down the Power Sword!" Just then, the Power Sword emerged from a stormy sky and landed in the hands of the Megazord! "On my mark", said Spider-Man. Just then, Serpentera charged forward and knocked both robots over with the swipe of his tail! "Fools!", roared Walter through the radio, "I will show those worthless plebeians that the world belongs to Apex!" But then, Leopardon used its webs to tie up the cyborg's legs! Then, the Megazord kicked Serpentera through several towers, knocking him onto a wide-open field in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Offices! There, he was hit by tank fire, rockets, and Leopardon's Arc Turn attack! "I won't be defeated so easily!", yelled Walter. "Now's your chance", said Spider-Man, "Do it". As soon as Leopardon tied up Serpentera with its webs, the Megazord used the Power Sword to slice off his mechanical arm! But then, Serpentera used his other arm to grab the Megazord and throw it into Leopardon!
"Ay yi yi, Zordon", said Alpha 5 as he watched the fight unfold, "Even with two machines at full strength, they're being put on the ropes!" "You're right, Alpha", said Zordon, "But I have faith they'll pull through".
The Megazord then used the tusks on the mastodon shield to sweep the cyborg's leg! Leopardon fired webs and lasers, but nothing was stopping the power-mad monster or his pilot! "Walter", said Spider-Man, "Surrender peacefully before you cross another line". "Never!", yelled Walter. "Fine", said Spider-Man, "Leopardon, Sword of Vigor!" As soon as the Megazord fired its lasers, Leopardon threw the Sword of Vigor, impaling Serpentera! But then, he pulled the sword out and tossed it aside. "Can't kill what isn't living", said Walter. "We have no choice", said the Red Ranger, "We have to destroy it completely". "But how?", asked the Yellow Ranger. "We must combine out powers", said Spider-Man as Leopardon recovered the Sword of Vigor. "Right", said the Power Rangers. Then, the Megazord came apart! As Serpentera watched, the Mastodon Zord cannons attached themselves to Leopardon's shoulders, the Pterodactyl Zord attached to the chest, and the other Zords began shooting at Serpentera! Leopardon then fired a continuous stream of energy, blasting off parts of Serpentera! Then, it threw the Sword of Vigor into the energy stream, enhancing it! "Oh, FUCK", cried Walter as the sword impaled the cyborg, causing it to explode! Leopardon then held the Sword of Vigor in the air as the Zords roared in victory.
(Weird thing here, but play the Jonathan Young cover of Power Rangers again, but pretend he's saying "Go, go, Spider-Man" instead.)
Some time later, a news report appeared on TV, telling the world about how Walter Simmons was in fact using alien technology in a terrorist plot against the rest of the world. The five teens from Angel Grove smiled when they saw the Megazord and Leopardon kick monster ass on the TV, when suddenly, they heard a knock at the door. Jason went to get and was greeted by Melanie Sheer of Apex. "I saw the news", said Jason, "Then you know that as of today, the peace conference is cancelled", said Melanie, "However, in light of recent events, I'm willing to pay for the rest of your trip in Japan". "That's great", smiled Jason, "Thank you". "Let me know if you guys need anything", smiled Melanie.
As soon as she left, there was a call on the communicator. "We read you, Zordon", said Jason. "Congratulations, Rangers", said Zordon, "With your power, you've managed to save all of Tokyo". "It wasn't just us", said Kimberly, "We had some help from Spider-Man". "I see", said Zordon, "What was once an enemy is now the perfect ally against such evil" "Where do you suppose he is?", asked Zack. "Most likely fixing his robot", said Trini. "In any case", said Zordon, "You've all done well, and I'm proud of you. May the Power protect you on your travels". "Thank you, Zordon", said the five teens.
Meanwhile, Mamiya managed to catch to Melanie in the elevator. "I'm certain you've seen the news", said Melanie. "Yeah", said Mamiya as he adjusted his red tie, "What happens to Apex now?" "Can you believe it?", asked Melanie slyly, "They're putting Walter's daughter, Maia, in the position of CEO. I, like a lot of people in the right place at the right time, have just gotten a promotion". "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you got Interpol involved for that very reason", said Mamiya. "You'll never know", said Melanie, "All I know is that the Power Rangers are the only thing standing in the way of more alien threats. Best to work with them rather than against them". "Indeed", said Mamiya. "And if that doesn't work", said Melanie as the doors opened, "We'll just have to make our own". Mamiya silently admitted that it was a good plan, but he had other business to attend to at the moment.
At a park near the Tokyo Tower, Takuya and Hitomi sat at a bench and looked up at the Tokyo skyline. "How do you manage to do it?", asked Hitomi, "How do you just let the Power Rangers leave?" "They're good people", said Takuya, "Besides, it would be in poor taste to turn them over to Interpol after they helped stop Walter". "Indeed", said Mamiya as he walked over, "Apex may not be finished with them, but for now, I'll consider our business with the Power Rangers over". "So, what happens now?", asked Hitomi. "We at Interpol will keep in touch with Spider-Man", said Mamiya, "Just in case". He handed Takuya an envelope filled with cash. "Keep that", said Mamiya, "Interpol is forever in your debt, Takuya Yamashiro". "Just call when you need me", smiled Takuya. Mamiya smiled and walked off. Takuya regarded him and Hitomi. He smiled as three days worth of self doubt disappeared and he took Hitomi with him as he strode toward home...and a new purpose in life.
A week later, the five teens returned to Angel Grove. Kimberly went to her locker and pulled out her textbooks, unknowingly dropping one. "Hey, you dropped this", said a voice. Kimberly turned to see a Japanese girl with short, black hair, brown eyes, and a green leather jacket with a gold dragon embroidered on the back. "Thanks", said Kimberly, "I think I've seen you around, I just don't remember your name". "It's Tomoko Oliver", said the girl, "But most people call me Tommy". "I'm Kimberly", said Kimberly. "I'm definitely going to love it here", smiled Tommy.

At Apex HQ in Pensacola, Florida, Melanie Sheer and her subordinates entered the observation room, where two men were checking the security feeds. "How are we on Operation Lightspeed?", asked Melanie. "We are well under way", said one subordinate, "But we're still in the preliminary stages". "Ma'am, take a look at this", said one of the crew members, "One of the Dragon Zords is missing!" "More like stolen", said Melanie as she looked at the footage and saw a familiar green glow.
On a far away island, Rita Repulsa looked over her new prize, a massive robot dragon with black and green armor, sharp teeth, a large crest on its head, and a chest plate with five red jewels. "It is most exquisite", said Finster, an old man with a white beard, glasses, and pointed ears like an elf, "Whatever shall you do with it my queen". "First", said Rita as she held up the Green Power Coin, "I'm going to find a successor to my evil power. But enough talk. Finster, MAKE ME A MONSTER!" "Yes, my queen", said Finster as he walked off. Rita then belted out an evil laugh as the Dragon Zord roared!
