Alright, boys. Chapter thirty four is here, and it's the final chapter of Battle of the Labyrinth. This book in particular has been one wild ride, with it literally being the most different to canon and it being fifty percent longer than the other ones. Really looking forward to finishing this up, and starting The Last Olympian. Anyway, let's get into some reviews.

Echoxenvy: "Nice chapter. This was good setup for the final chapter, with some nice development for Zane and Annabeth. I especially liked the line where Annabeth kind of blames Zane for letting him die. That hit hard. The fight was great,
Showing off that Luke is much much stronger now, also Zane's new form is dope and op. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Loved the Matt mentions and Harper cameo, that was awesome and I can't wait for him to make his own soon. Also cute little scene with Rachel, that was funny lol.

Anyway, great stuff man. Can't wait for the final chapter. Zane may have a new form, but keep an eye out for Matt, I got a little trick up my sleeve for the upcoming fight…

Keep it up bro."

Response: Thanks for the review, man. The development between Zane and Annabeth was what I was going for, because those two haven't had much in awhile lol. Yes, Luke is much, much stronger now. Equal to Zane's strength when he wielded the Master Bolt against Hades. And I'm glad you enjoyed Zane's new form, it'll be elaborated on this chapter. The Harper cameo gave me life lmao, loved writing that. Anyway bro, hope you enjoy this chapter, sorry this took so long.

Shadowhunter2077: "Man I suprised that Zane didn't kill Quintus himself, going through so much shit only to find that everything was useless can piss anyone off.

Really liked Zane using chaotic energy, and is nice that you used the nature of Chaos as a drawback so Zane don't get too OP.

And now the final showdown between Zane and Prometheus, I wonder how this final fight will be."

Response: Yeah, old Zane would have killed Daedalus, but Zane currently isn't filled with that kind of hatred anymore. Also he had to get back to camp because he realized Luke was on his way there as well. And I've been waiting for Zane's new form for awhile, glad you liked it. And you will definitely like the final battle between Zane and Prometheus, probably the best fight yet in the story imo. Anyway, hope you enjoy, sorry this took so long.

FabulousOutlaw58: "Damn, so the final battle has begun huh? This chapter was great to setup all of these events, capitalizing more on Annabeth's feelings and really giving her some time to shine as a character. It was seriously needed, and you did it man, you're really good at writing I gotta say. Juggling characters is hard. The Quintus scene was good because it really showed that he's kind of just a guy that wants to right his wrongs, but isn't going the correct way about it. Hopefully you give him book treatment and have him redeem himself. Also, Luke vs Zane and Zane has a new form? Not sure what it is, but he's got one. I liked it, and the drawback that it comes with. Very cool. So excited for the final confrontation with Prometheus, and of course Annabeth's reaction to the titan. It's revenge time boys."

Response: Yep, the final fight is here lol. I'm glad you liked the chapter and me giving Annabeth some clear time to shine as a character. Juggling characters is hard, but it was Annabeth's time in the spotlight. And the scene for Daedalus was fun to write, although originally it was going to be an epic fight scene, but I ran out of time lmao. And yes, Zane has a new form, one that will be explained more in this chapter. Anyway, hope you enjoy the chapter, sorry this took so long.

SaUvE ViPeR: "Chaotic chapter, but awesome. Zane vs Luke was great, really displaying the rivalry between the two and how strong both have become. I liked the form that Zane got and the drawback it has, that's very interesting. Annabeth has really gotten an arc this book, a much needed arc, and that's great. The scene between her and Zane was amazing, and sad at the same time. Zane feels guilty for Percy's death obviously, and I figured Annabeth, at least a tiny part of her, blames Zane. To see that come out was heartbreaking. Guess the final battle has begun, it's about to get very very interesting.

Last thing. I'm guessing Zane is going to tell Nico and Taylor about Calypso. Very speculative about what's going to happen there, but judging by how the story is going, I would be very surprised if they forgive him, judging by how clingy Nico is and how deep Taylor's connection to him is. That, along with Zane vs Prometheus, the Zeus talk...there are a lot of things to look forward to."

Response: Thanks for the review, bro. I'm glad you liked Zane vs Luke, despite how short it was lol. Zane's new form is dope and something that will be showed off more in this chapter. And yes, everyone was asking for Annabeth development, and I'm glad I've seemed to deliver. The scene between Zane and Annabeth was one of my favorite ones, and I'm glad everyone seemed to like it as well. And about whether Zane will tell Nico and Taylor about Calypso, well, you'll see how that goes. Anyway, hope you enjoy and sorry this was so late.

Merrik69: "Awesome. This was a great buildup to the inevitable final battle of the book. I loved the conflict between Annabeth and Zane, and her whole arc this book, it's been great, and she deserved it. The scene where she blurts out her blame on Zane for Percy dying has to be one of the best scenes in this BOTL, it was amazing. Hopefully next chapter Zane and Annabeth make up and clear the air. Zane also needs to tell the truth about what happened with Calyspo when he gets the chance, immediately. Keeping secrets from Taylor and Nico isn't good, and I'm guessing they aren't going to be thrilled when they find out.

Can't wait for the next chapter. Really, it has the potential to be the best chapter yet. Zane vs Prometheus, Zane vs Luke, talking with Zeus, telling Taylor and Nico the truth. I'm very excited, and curious to see what you will do. Very unpredictable, and I like it."

Response: Thanks for the review, bro. The scene between Annabeth and Zane was one of my favorites to write, hit me hard while I was writing it lol. I'm glad everyone likes Annabeth's development, because I sure do lol. And whether Zane is going to tell Nico and Taylor what happened with Calypso, well, you'll see what happens there lol. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed last chapter and I hope you enjoy this one, sorry it was so late lol.

Guest: "After the first chapter, I expected to see another run of the mill overpowered OC story with a harem, bland character writing, dialogue and lifeless story all around.

Boy was I wrong.

Man, after the first couple of chapters things really pick up. I think the ending of the Lightning Thief is the real spark to this story, and where it really starts to gain its merit. Zane went from a Percy clone to his own complex character in the matter of paragraphs. His storyline and arc are great, I really like what you've done with him so far. It's honestly a great character study of how power can get to one's head and letting bad nature take over, then eventually coming back from that when you realize that your actions are affecting those you love in a negative way. It's been amazing to read his evolution.

As for the other aspects of the story, I really don't have that many complaints. I had a problem about certain characters not getting enough time and their own arcs, but as of late you've been giving them more spotlight, so good on that. The fight scenes are awesome, gripping, and realistic in terms of grit. The tone of the story is well laid out, and the dialogue is good. Honestly, one of my new favorite fanfics. I can't think of many other Percy Jackson fics that have me coming back for more day after day. Awesome job overall, hope the next update is soon, it's been a rather long wait."

Response: Yo, bro, thanks for the review. And I'm glad you like the story overall, because you give some high praise lol. Yeah, the first chapter of this story imo is straight up dogass. It has a lot of shitty dialogue, crappy writing and cliché moments, but I'm glad I've been able to turn this story into something that really shines. Zane's development is something I've pretty much spent the entire story on, and I'm glad somebody finally likes it lmao. His premise is simple, power goes to head hero, but it's something I love. I'm glad you like the rest of the story as well, from the fights, to the tone and even to some of the mid dialogue lol. Seriously, sometimes I don't like it and this is my story lmao. Anyway, sorry for how long this took and I hope you enjoy.

Guest (2): "Please update soon! I don't want this story to be forgotten, it's too good!"

Response: Here you go, mate. Sorry this took forever lmao

Alright, enough with reviews. Let's blow this pop-stand.

(Disclaimer: I don't own anything portrayed here (Except the OCs). If the fact that this is on a Fanfiction site didn't tip you off, you're fucking retarded.)

(000)

Intense fury coursed through me as I raced towards Prometheus in the air. I had only one single thought on my mind at the moment, and that was to kill Prometheus. "PROMETHEUS!" I roared, flying at top speed towards the armored Titan, drawing Thymos as I did so. I swung my Heavenly Diamond Morningstar directly at his face, forcing him to bring his massive sword up in defense.

Prometheus blocked my strike, although the immense force of my rage enhanced blow sent him skidding back nearly ten feet in the dirt. The Titan grunted as he blocked my blow, the attack creating a shockwave that blew every monster within a couple dozen feet back. He righted his stance and pointed his blade at me. "This is the third time we meet on opposing sides, Zane. And it will be our last."

I felt my veins and muscles bulge in sheer fury. "Oh, it'll be our last, alright. It'll be our last because I'm going to fucking kill you!" I charged my power into Thymos and sent a blast of lightning from the weapon at Prometheus. Prometheus side stepped the blast, barely avoiding it. The chaos infused lightning slammed into a monster, completely incinerating it.

All of the monsters around us tensed and looked like they were about to attack me in revenge, but Prometheus held up a hand. "Stand down!" Every monster froze and looked at Prometheus with a mix of confusion and fear. Prometheus pointed at the wall in front of the camp. "None of you stand a chance against Zane Williams. Attack the campers. I will deal with the son of Zeus." The monsters did as Prometheus commanded and charged the wall.

I let them charge, knowing they were no challenge for my friends, especially if Nico was there. Lightning danced around my frame and my glowing eyes glared at Prometheus. "You killed my best friend. No, you killed my brother."

My blue aura exploded around my skin and the lightning cage around me intensified ten-fold. "I will avenge him…." I threw out both of my arms and released my full power, cracking the ground around me and sending any nearby charging monsters flying. "By killing you!" Every fiber in my being itched to tear Prometheus to pieces.

Prometheus pressed a button on the hilt of his sword and the massive blade of his weapon was coated in flames. "You seem to misremember, Zane. Percy Jackson killed himself. He turned himself into a bomb in a futile attempt to destroy me." Prometheus motioned to his exquisitely designed Universal Titanium cuirass. "Nothing gets through this armor. Nothing."

I growled at him like an animal. "We'll see about that." And with that, I charged the massive, armored Titan at full speed, intent on beating him within an inch of his life and making him beg. Thymos slammed against the flat end of Prometheus' sword, and me and the Titan begun to exchange blows.

I heard the sounds of horns and battle cries behind me at the wall, but I could pay them no mind right now. Every single ounce of my skill was being tested in my one versus one with Prometheus. Our flurries and stabs, each of them being far faster than light, struck out at each other. We swung, struck, parried and deflected each other's attacks, creating shockwaves and immense amounts of air pressure just from our strikes.

My anger and determination to kill this son of a bitch carried me in the fight. I hit harder, faster and meaner than I ever had before, putting my intense hatred of the Titan into every strike. Prometheus, despite having the clear advantage in all previous engagements, now struggled to keep up with me. Eventually, I knocked his massive blade to the side, the first misstep of his out of tens of thousands of previous attacks.

I slammed my fist into the side of Prometheus' head, knocking him to the side with a grunt. Prometheus somersaulted in the air and recovered on his feet, our first engagement won by me. Prometheus was already breathing a little heavily, although I could tell he wasn't tired in the least. "You've seem to have grown stronger, Zane Williams. Before in our previous bouts, you needed the son of Poseidon to even the odds. Now, you are doing well on your own."

My face twitched in rage at the mention of the dead son of Poseidon. I rushed towards Prometheus and I tried to take his head off with Thymos. Prometheus barely reacted in time to block the attack, his flaming blade barely coming up in time to clash with Thymos once more. "Don't you fucking say his name, you piece of shit! You're the reason he's dead!"

Prometheus rolled backwards, throwing me away in the same direction he rolled and through a tree. I didn't even feel any pain as I rolled back to my feet to face him. Prometheus whisked the flames away from his massive sword, sighing as he did so. "Jackson's death was not personal, Zane. He was ordered to be killed by me by my lord, and I had to obey. Just like how I have to obey him now in killing you."

Prometheus pressed another button on his sword and the odd yellow magical lightning surrounded his blade. I could tell that deep down, Prometheus didn't want to kill Percy, just as he didn't want to kill me or even attack camp. But now that I wasn't in the Labyrinth, whatever Prometheus used to block my mind reading abilities wasn't as strong.

I couldn't dominate his mind, but I could as least read his surface level thoughts and his intentions. He didn't want to kill me, and he didn't want to kill everyone in camp, but he was okay with it as long as he got his revenge on Zeus. Even with only being able to sense the minimum from his mind, I could easily sense the almost boundless hatred he held for my father.

That didn't deter my rage. I still itched and lusted after Prometheus' painful death. Lightning charged through Thymos as I glared at Prometheus. "Oh, you'll try…." I appeared in front of his vision and our weapons smashed together once more, both of the different kinds of lightning on them seeming to fight for supremacy.

Both me and Prometheus backstepped from each other and continued our battle. Prometheus launched an assault of powerful and fast swipes and stabs with his long blade, the yellow lightning surging off of his weapon. I ducked, dodged and weaved through Prometheus' offensive, making sure not to touch the dangerous magical lightning on his weapon.

Prometheus stabbed forwards towards my torso, both of his hands on his large hilt. I avoided the stab, stepping to the side of his blade. I saw an opportunity and created a telekinetic barrier around my foot, so the magical lightning could not touch me. I then slammed my foot on the flat edge of the sword, forcing the weapon to the ground. Prometheus was left completely vulnerable.

I grabbed the hilt of Thymos with both hands and swung it back like a baseball bat. I brought the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar right to Prometheus' chin, hitting him as hard as I could. The force of the blow created a massive shockwave, one that ripped the surrounding trees of the forest to splitters and tore apart the hills in the immediate vicinity.

Prometheus flew backwards dozens of feet, smashing into the cracked and damaged ground. Prometheus stood up from the crater, actually a little groggily. Seems like that hit him hard enough for him to actually feel it. I smirked at the Titan cockily, the sadistic glee I found seeing him in pain bringing me great joy. "Is this all you have Prometheus? I remember it being a lot harder to fight you last time."

Prometheus tensed in anger at my words and my emotion sensing could detect feelings of rage roll of the Titan. "You'll regret that, you little shit." A slit opened at the top of Prometheus' gauntlet and small spurts of yellow lightning came out. "You haven't even begun to see what I can do."

Prometheus blurred towards me and suddenly I was now on the defensive. Prometheus switched the element around the blade of his weapon from magical lightning to poison with a button touch and he gripped the massive blade one handedly. Prometheus launched an aggressive assault, switching up from his normal two-handed fighting style.

I blocked and parried his swipes, noting the increased difficulty I was having doing so. It seems Prometheus was done playing around and decided to get serious with me. I caught the edge of his blade with the spiked ball of Thymos, and the two of us were suddenly in a clash of strength. I was using two hands, while Prometheus was using only one. He was putting up a surprising fight, but I had a steady advantage.

Suddenly, before I could even blink, Prometheus punched forward with left arm, shooting the magic lightning out of the slit from early. The yellow lightning made contact with me, causing me to freeze up and contort in pain from the lightning. The earlier pain from my first battle with Prometheus returned, and I did my best to fight through it and dispel the lightning with my telekinesis.

But before I could do so, Prometheus' massive armored boot slammed in my face, sending me flying nearly twenty feet away. I smashed through several trees and into the dirt, groaning from the pain that had spiked from my face. I opened my eyes, only to see one of Prometheus' poison fire slashes heading directly towards my face.

I narrowly dashed to the side, and the poison fire slash ripped through the earth where I had been laying. I didn't have much time gawk at the torn earth, as Prometheus appeared in front of my vision, swing his blade to slice me in half. In response, I jumped in the air above the swipe. I charged Thymos with lightning and slammed it down on Prometheus' chest.

Prometheus was sent sliding back several feet, his armor currently imbued with chaotic lightning. Prometheus jerked around as he grunted in pain, his armor conducting the darker chaotic lightning incredibly well. I felt his natural aura decrease slightly, the effects of Heavenly Diamond at work. I drew my fist back, charging it with my blue aura and smashed it into the side of Prometheus' face.

Prometheus was sent flying away once more, grunting as he did so. Prometheus recovered in the middle of the air, landing back on his feet. Prometheus then pressed another button on his sword hilt and the green poison shroud around his blade became mixed with yellow lightning. The poison mist and the lightning started to slowly fuse together, forming some kind of darker, sickly green electricity.

My eyes widened slightly. "P-Poison lightning?" I knew Prometheus had poison fire, but poison lightning was ridiculous. What else could he combine his poison with? I was swiftly ripped from my thoughts as Prometheus pointed his blade towards me, shooting green lightning at me like a Tesla coil. I quickly jumped around like someone was shutting a gun at my feet, flipping and dodging the weird lightning.

Prometheus charged forwards at me; his arms drawn back to cleave me in two. I brought Thymos up to block his attack, charging the Morningstar with lightning. Prometheus' massive blade smashed into my defense, sending me staggering back. Prometheus punched his left arm forwards again with the slit open, only this time fire came out instead of magical lightning.

I brought one of my hands up to create a telekinetic barrier, shielding myself from the somehow impossibly hot fire. Once the flame gust stopped, I drew Thymos back to attack the Creator of Mankind. However, I was forced to dodge under a swipe from his blade that would have taken my head off. I flipped backwards, trying to create some distance between me and Prometheus.

Prometheus wasn't just going to easily allow that, as he tried to follow my movements and slice me into pieces with quick swipes from his massive blade. However, I unleashed a blast of telekinetic power towards the Titan with my left hand, forcing him skidding back. I charged lightning in my left hand and unleashed bursts of electrical power in the general direction of the Titan

However, the lightning didn't really do very much to the Titan, considering he literally cut the lightning to pieces via deflection with his giant sword. My brow furrowed, as I forgot he could do that. Prometheus then charged forwards once more, swiping and stabbing at my form.

I deflected and blocked each one of Prometheus' well timed and precise attacks, using every ounce of my skill and experience to do so. Prometheus tried to cleave me in two with a powerful slash, forcing me to slide underneath the blade. I charged lightning into my fist, and my arm became surrounded in a small blue aura. I smashed my fist into Prometheus' armored liver section, predictably doing no damage but forcing the Titan back a few feet.

However, Prometheus did something unexpected. He slammed his blade into the ground and a massive surge of fire surrounded his form in all directions. I used my telekinesis to push myself away from the massive area of effect attack Prometheus did, noting that the flames were also filled with the odd magic lightning as well.

Prometheus ripped his blade out of the ground, holding it in two hands in a combat stance. I also slipped back into a stance of my own, and the two of us circled each other. "Hm. It seems the two of us are evenly matched." He seemed annoyed by the fact, as it hadn't been true the last time we fought each other. "Your power growth is extraordinary. Either that, or you're fighting with true killer instinct and intent. Either way, you're much more dangerous than before."

Prometheus pressed another button on the side of his sword hilt, but this time none of the previous three elements came onto the blade. No, this time a black haze filled with white particles covered the blade. Sensing the energy of the weapon, I found it almost felt similar to Nico. An aura of death and decay permeated around the blade, however, this aura felt far more raw than Nico's did.

Prometheus pointed his black haze covered sword at me. "Now, I end this once and for all." With that, Prometheus blurred towards me with impressive speed. I reacted just in time to avoid being decapitated, dodging under the blade. Prometheus swung his blade on a backswing, forcing me to deflect the attack with Thymos.

Prometheus continued to press the attack on me, attacking even more aggressively and deadly than he had previously. I was forced on the defensive, having to do nothing but block and deflect Prometheus' strikes. I gritted my teeth as my arms strained to block a powerful downward strike from the armored Titan, surprised by the strength of his armor. Either Prometheus had been holding back before, or the odd black haze over his sword had made me overly cautious.

I was done being pushed back. I unleashed a telekinetic blast in every direction, ripping apart the landscape even more and forcing the Titan off of me. Prometheus was only briefly stunned and sent back, and he charged at me as soon as he recovered. I met the Titan in the middle, our weapons entering another clash of power and skill.

I ducked and weaved through hundreds of attacks from a quick barrage Prometheus had let out, narrowly avoiding each and every strike. Prometheus then lunged forwards once again with his blade, prompting me to step on the flat of the blade once more. However, Prometheus was ready this time.

The Titan suddenly grabbed my leg and lifted me in the air. He quickly slammed me several times into the dirt, cracking the ground as he did so. I felt no pain a Prometheus manhandled me, my immense durability too high for such of move to really do anything, not to mention I was wearing my armor. Prometheus suddenly threw me up in the air like a baseball and drew back with his sword.

Prometheus smashed the flat end of the weapon right into my torso, sending a surge of pain through my ribs. I was sent flying nearly two dozen feet away, skidding in the cracked ground. I groaned slightly, before standing up. But I noticed something…wrong. After Prometheus had hit me, some kind of…energy or magic seemed to cling to me.

I looked at my hand, which looked fine but shook slightly. "W-What did you do to me?" As far as I could tell, I was physically fine. However, my lifeforce felt…off. It wasn't drained or weakened, but it just felt completely wrong.

Prometheus' answer came in the form of the massive Titan charging me once more, trying to cleave me in two. I dodge out of the way, noting my speed hadn't decreased, despite the awful feeling around my aura. I tried to ignore the feeling as me and Prometheus clashed weapons once again, our weapons become whirlwinds of death.

We clashed for a good bit, a copy of several other engagements we had already done over the course of our fight. I tried to focus on my hatred of the Titan, and my rage of what he had done, but the feeling around my lifeforce distracted me. I tried to punch Prometheus in the face with an aura infused hand, but the Titan dodge the strike. He backstepped, swing his sword in my direction as he did so.

I narrowly avoided being hit directly in the side by jumping back myself, however, the point of Prometheus' massive sword clipped the side of my obliques. His sword tip cut through my armor, creating a nasty screeching sound as it went through the Universal Titanium. I felt a spike of pain escape from where he sliced me, and a small spurt of blood escaped from the new slit in the side of my armor.

However, the more serious concern was whatever Prometheus had done to my aura last time he landed a hit on me felt even worse the second time. The feeling of overwhelming wrongness and even…dread filled my very core as I landed back on the ground. I shuddered, clutching where Prometheus had sliced my side.

What the hell was this? This feeling of uncomfortability and sense of wrong was far worse than any minor pain that should of come from the wound. Lost in my thoughts, I just barely avoided Prometheus' massive blade from cutting my head in two.

Prometheus was relentless. Every strike he threw and every swing and stab was thrown with the intent to kill me. He wasted no movement, every single action from him having a purpose and being completely efficient. I felt the full effects of this as I defended from an all out assault from the Titan, his every attack nearly being my end.

He wouldn't be so deadly and hard to deal with if whatever was going on with my aura wouldn't be happening. Fending off one of the most dangerous opponents I had ever fought was hard enough, but doing so when my entire lifeforce felt like it was being forced to watch the Star Wars Prequels was impossible.

Prometheus continued to attack me, not letting up in the slightest. My blocks and parries were becoming slowly and less precise, something the Creator of Mankind was taking full advantage of. Prometheus got several knicks and small slices in my armor as we clashed, which only amplified the awful feeling from his previous attacks.

My Universal Titanium armor soon became adorned with several small scratches and breaks, it's pure and undamaged visage ruined. With every attack Prometheus got past my defense with his unrelenting attacks, the worse the feeling got and the more it messed with my skill.

This became very apparent when Prometheus knocked Thymos out of my grasp with a swift side swing. My eyes widened in horror at what had just happened. I should have been able to react to that! But the black haze around Prometheus' blade was fucking with me, clouding my thoughts with dread and messing with my precision.

I tried to chase after my Heavenly Diamond Morningstar, however, a massive boot to my chest that sent me twenty feet away into the dirt put a stop to that. I grunted in pain from the attack, however, my lifeforce didn't feel worse. It seems that only attacks that were surrounded in that weird blaze haze did this to me.

I tried to pull myself to my feet from the cracked ground, only to see an insanely fast energy slash of that same blaze hazy energy bolting straight at me. Even at my top speed in my Thunder Form, I would only be able to just barely dodge it. However, with the black haze messing with my lifeforce and focus, I could only stand there and wait for it to hit me.

The energy slammed into me, knocking me right back to the ground. The force from the energy blast didn't even hurt, but I was in a whole world of awful feeling. Like before, it was direct pain or damage, but something weird and odd being done to my aura. Whatever energy was building up from the black haze felt so overwhelming I felt like I was…dying.

Before I could even move from the ground, Prometheus appeared standing above me. The armored Titan put his massive boot on my chest, completely pinning me to the ground. I tried to force him off of me, finding some slight success with his foot raising slightly off my chest. Prometheus then grunted, and slammed his boot onto my chest hard, stopping all of my efforts.

I tried to focus on my hatred and rage, trying to give myself something of a boost to get this bastard off of me, but I couldn't. The effect that the black haze had on my lifeforce and on focus was simply too much. "W-What the f-fuck did you do to me? Why do I feel so…wrong?"

Any other typical villain would have simply laughed and started monologuing, but Prometheus just looked at me in silence for a few seconds. "You are being cursed." Prometheus motioned to the black haze around his blade. "My sword has been enveloped with Curse energy. The specific curse being on that induces death with enough build up. Considering the amount of times I hit you and the amount the curse should have built up, just one more hit and you die."

Prometheus put the tip of his sword on my cheek. "For what it's worth, I am sorry it had to end this way. You are nothing like your unjust father, the one who submitted me to millions of years of torment. No, you are just a child, simply fighting for your friends and family." Prometheus' tone hardened. "But you must die. My lord promised me your father's end if I did his bidding, and your death is one of his commands. And I will do anything to see the King of Olympus dead at my feet."

I felt the point of Prometheus' blade tense and he looked like he was about to slide it across my cheek. "Goodbye, Zane Williams." The point of Prometheus' blade pressed into my cheek, and I felt my entire life flash before my eyes, trying to find any experience to escape this. I wasn't strong enough, wasn't fast enough, had no resistance to the odd curse of his blade, didn't have Thymos to access that weird new form I used against Luke and I wasn't good enough with words to convince him to stop. Not like I was going to beg anyway.

I was going to die. No rage healing, no power ups, nothing to save me. I was finished. I saw both the image of Nico and Taylor, smiles clear on there face. I felt guilt well up inside me, knowing I never got to tell them of what I did.

But before Prometheus' sword tip could pierce my skin, a blur of movement to his left smashed into him. Prometheus grunted and stumbled to the side, trying his best to recover. However, before he could, a green aura covered blue rocky fist smashed into his torso, sending him flying back dozens of feet with a roar.

A figure stood over me, their left arm outstretched and their right arm holding a bright, glowing blue xiphos. Their entire frame was covered in a sea green aura, one which burned with power. They were around my height, only a couple inches shorter, and maybe twenty pounds lighter. His hair was black with almost a green shine to it, and it was tied into an epic manbun.

His skin was as if it was made out of water, and it rippled like it as well. His arms down from his elbows were made of a blue, fluorescent rock, as was his legs from his knee down. He turned his gaze to me, showing me his bright, almost glowing sea green eyes. He smiled at me, showing me his perfect teeth. "What's up, Zane? Did you miss me?"

I stood up from the cracked ground shakily due to the feeling from Prometheus' Curse energy and the sheer disbelief of who I was seeing. "P-Percy!?" I couldn't even belief what I was seeing was real. I reached out with my aura sense, trying to see if this was just some illusion. However, I found that Percy's aura was real, burning with nearly was much power as I was. "Y-You're alive!?"

The son of Poseidon smirked at my question. "Well, not quite…." Percy looked back where he had punched Prometheus away to and his sea green aura flared around his form. "It's a bit complicated, Zane. But I'm back."

I didn't really understand what Percy meant, and honestly, I didn't care right now. I quickly closed the gap between me and Percy, wrapping him in a tight hug. I felt surprise from the son of Poseidon through my emotion sensing. "I'm so sorry…" I whispered while I hugged him. "I-I was too weak to save you last time."

Percy chuckled and returned the hug, patting me on the back as he did so. "Zane, it's okay. Last time was a bad situation and you did everything you could. I should be the one apologizing since I'm the one who went and died on you." Percy looked back where he had sent Prometheus flying, seeing that the Titan was starting to stand up.

I noticed the same thing, and reluctantly broke the hug with the son of Poseidon. I summoned Thymos back to me with my telekinesis and faced the rising Titan. "How are you back, Percy? Everyone told me you were dead, and you also just said you were. But now you're alive?" Don't get me wrong, I was absolutely ecstatic about Percy being back, but things didn't add up very well.

Percy dropped into a combat stance as he also looked towards Prometheus. "I'll explain that later after we beat this bastard, but short version is that I'm still technically dead. But enough about that right now." Percy then reached into his pocket, pulling out a piece of ambrosia. "Here. I got this from some of the campers back at the battlefield. Figured you could use it."

I nodded in thanks at Percy's gesture and downed the divine food in one bite, immediately feeling the sheer utter wrongness of Prometheus' curse energy vanish from my aura, as well as feeling my stamina had been completely restored.

Prometheus, who had fully recovered from Percy's strike, sauntered forwards while dropping into his fighting stance. "Percy Jackson, back from the dead. I take it you've broken out of the Underworld to come help your friends fight against my lord's army?" Prometheus pointed his massive blade towards Percy. "Last time we fought, you perished at your own hand. This time, you will perish to mine."

Percy smirked at Prometheus' declaration. "I think you'll have a pretty hard time trying to kill me this time, Megatron." Percy looked back to me. "Let's kick this guy's ass, Zane."

I nodded at Percy's words with a smile of my own. "Fuck yeah." Me and Percy blurred out of view, launching a series of assaults against Prometheus. The armored Titan did his best to defend against our strikes, but with the two of us at full strength and taking in the fact he had been struggling against me alone, Prometheus had his hands full.

However, Prometheus was still in the fight. He had his curse energy around his blade once more, and he tried to counterattack each time we struck out against him. This time, I was wary against the blades effectiveness, as it had nearly killed me before. However, Percy still attacked with immense aggression, almost recklessly.

Percy dodge under a sword swipe from the Titan, kicking him in the stomach and knocking him back. Percy tried to capitalize with a sword strike to Prometheus' armored neck, but the Titan recovered faster than the son of Poseidon expected. Prometheus dodged backwards, before shoving his sword directly into Percy's torso.

Blood exploded from Percy's watery torso, and the Titan lifted Percy off the ground into the air with his blade. My eyes widened in horror at the horrendous wound Percy sustained. "Percy!" Percy had just come back from the dead, apparently. I couldn't lose him again this quickly.

However, Percy was completely unperturbed by the intense injury. Hell, it's almost as if he didn't even feel it. Percy grabbed the large blade of the sword and tore himself away from the blade to the side, literally. More blood and gore exploded from Percy's mangled torso, but he didn't even care. It didn't even affect him, as if the blood and organs were just cosmetic.

Prometheus didn't expect this either, as he gasped in surprise. "Wha-!?" Prometheus' surprised shout was interrupted by Percy punching him directly in the face, unleashing a blast of vibrational energy that floored the Titan into the cracked and shattered ground. Percy ripped a large amount of glowing water from the air, forming it into a massive, thirty foot long giant hammer.

Percy then slammed the hammer down on top of Prometheus' downed form, cracking and shattering the ground even more so than it already was. He slammed the construct down on Prometheus almost six times, before deconstructing it into a massive wave of water that he commanded to envelop Prometheus in. The water formed into thick, glowing water chains that wrapped around Prometheus. "Light him up, Zane!"

I noticed I had been watching Percy wail on Prometheus like gobsmacked and nodded at Percy words. "Alright!" I lifted Thymos into the sky, channeling the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar with my aura. A massive thunderstorm built up overhead us, the clouds twirling with power. I shot a blue energy blast into the sky from Thymos, allowing the chaotic energy from the weapon to mix with the growling storm.

After a couple of seconds to allow the energy to mix together, I commanded the lightning surging within the clouds to rain hell on Prometheus. The signature, dark blue chaotic lightning blasted from the sky. Dozens of bolts, all of them brimming with chaotic energy made contact with the downed Prometheus. The absolutely blinding light of the lightning mixing with Percy's glowing water forced me to squint as I shocked Prometheus for over ten seconds.

Eventually, I ended the lightning judgement after the chaotic energy ran out, and Percy released his chains around the armored Titan. The chaotic energy infused lightning still conducted throughout Prometheus' armor, and the Titan shook and jerked around due to it. I felt his aura decrease and weaken thanks to the Heavenly Diamond lightning, however not as much as it would have been if not for the armor.

Percy pumped his free fist into the air. "Hell yeah! Take that you reject Decepticon!" I looked at Percy in shock as he paid his horrific wounds no mind at all. Before I could even ask how he was functioning without more than half of his torso, his body started to knit it back together. It only took seconds, but all of the damage repaired itself right before my eyes.

My eyes widened at the healing. What the hell was going on? From what I knew, Percy didn't even have a healing factor, and now he shows off one that even better than mine? "Percy, what the fuck was that? Half of your body was gone and you didn't even flinch!"

Percy tore off the rest of his shirt that had been torn by Prometheus' sword piercing through his body and smiled a bit. "Perks of still being dead. Apparently I can't really die again, and the body they made for me in the Underworld reconstructs itself whenever it takes damage. Figured that out on my way out of the Underworld."

My face scrunched up in confusion. Percy sensed my confusion and spoke. "I'll explain it later, Zane. It's…pretty complicated." Prometheus stopped jerking around from the lightning as it dispersed away from him, and he started to stand up slightly. "Let's finish this bastard off now."

Prometheus groaned as he stood up from the crater he had been laying in, small sparks of lightning sparking off his armor. Suddenly, a small, robotic monotone voice spoke out from the armor. "POWER ARMOR BATTERY: TWENTY PERCENT." I barely heard it, but what it said really caught my attention. Prometheus' armor had a battery?

Prometheus stood himself up fully with his massive blade. "Shit." He muttered underneath his breath, panting heavily. His aura was much weaker than it was normally, which was saying something, considering he wasn't particularly powerful by himself anyway.

I looked at Percy, and he looked back at me. "Did you hear that?" Percy nodded, his face completely serious. "If his armor has a certain amount of battery, then we can overwhelm him somehow." Both me and Percy dropped back into our fighting stance, and we circled Prometheus.

The armored Titan panted and brought himself up into a fighting stance, two handing his blade. Prometheus chuckled as he backstepped slowly, trying to create distance between me and Percy. "It seems I'm in quite the situation here. Never did I think any opponent I face would ever even have any chance of depleting my battery power on my armor."

Prometheus held his sword in front of his face. "However…" Prometheus then pressed a button on the hilt of his massive blade, and black lightning sprouted all over the sword. The magical lightning from before, mixed with the black haze of the curse energy. "I'm not going down without a fight!" Prometheus charged forwards at Percy, intent on slicing him in two.

Percy jumped backed, avoiding the slash. I lunged forwards, trying to smash Thymos into the jaw of the Titan. Somehow, despite his obvious exhaustion and low suit power, he was able to bring his sword right in front of his face. Percy tried to capitalize on Prometheus' defense of my attack with a stab to the neck, but Prometheus back stepped and got out of Percy's range.

We both tried to overwhelm the Titan, sometimes attacking together and other times attacking in intervals. No matter what we did, Prometheus would somehow avoid our attacks or defend from both of them at the same time.

Eventually, I had enough, creating a massive lightning tornado behind me filled with chaotic energy from Thymos. The tornado crackled with the dark, chaotic lightning and the wind ripped the ground apart wherever it went. I sent the tornado at Prometheus while Percy created a whirlpool of water from the air to try and contain Prometheus to where he stood.

Prometheus, however, somehow managed to avoid both of them. He rolled out of the way of the tornado and jumped over the water whirlpool. His raised his left arm while he was in the air, the slit on the gauntlet opening up. He pointed his arm over towards the two of us, shooting poison lightning at us. Both me and Percy were forced to dodge, our concentration on our elemental attacks dispersing.

Percy grunted as he rolled back to a standing position, dodging out of the wall of the sickly green lightning. "So…poison filled lightning? What else does this motherfucker have? Lightsabers?" Percy's arms made a circular motion, and a whirling ball of glowing water formed over him. Small water spikes broke away from the sphere, being sent flying at Prometheus.

I raised my arms in the air in an underhanded fashion, forming storm clouds all around us at ground level. "I wouldn't even joke about that, Percy. He's brought out all kinds of shit so far, so a laser sword isn't exactly the most insane thing he could do." The clouds became thicker and more pronounced as they crackled with lightning in the air around us.

I lifted Thymos into the air, charging it with my aura. I shot a blast of pure blue energy into the air, mixing it with the clouds somehow. The lightning sparking in the clouds became darker, being filled with chaotic energy. Prometheus, who had landed back on the ground in a fighting position, stared at the darker lightning. "Shit." His suit-amped voiced said in monotone.

I smirked at Prometheus' single word. "Dodge this, motherfucker." I threw my hands forward, and the lightning from the clouds exploded outward. Prometheus, despite his size and the speed of the lightning, actually avoided most of the chaotic energy infused bolts. Prometheus jumped, rolled, dodge and blocked the lightning with his sword, but eventually, a rogue bolt from behind struck him.

Prometheus seized up as the chaotic energy infused lightning slammed into his back. "Arghhhh!" Prometheus jerked and growled in pain, his aura growing even weaker from the effects of the Heavenly Diamond enhanced lightning. Prometheus fell to one knee, barely having any time to sit there before Percy slammed his rocky knee right into the chin of Prometheus' helmet.

Prometheus flew backwards, Percy's attack creating a massive shockwave that cracked and damaged the ground even more. Prometheus smashed against the rocky dirt, barely rolling to a crouched position in time to block another strike from Percy. "I am tired of you!" Prometheus shouted, annoyance and frustration clear in amped voice. Prometheus swung right at Percy's form with his massive blade.

His slash connected, hitting Percy right in the neck. Prometheus' sword blade passed through Percy's throat, severing his head clean from his body with a large blood spurt. My eyes widened again, and before I could say or shout anything, Percy's body caught his severed right in the middle of the air and reattached it. Sinews, muscle and flesh all reconnected, healing up as if nothing happened in the first place.

Prometheus gasped and stared at Percy incredulously. "What the fu-!?" That was all Prometheus could get out before Percy drew back a rocky fist, coated it in a sea green aura and slamming it directly into Prometheus' chest. Prometheus flew backwards once against, ripping apart anything he came into contact with.

I appeared behind Prometheus while he was in the air and winded up Thymos for one great attack. I charged lightning and my blue aura into the Morningstar, the Heavenly Diamond weapon literally glowing with power. I swung as fast and hard as I could, slamming the weapon directly into Prometheus' armored back.

Prometheus grunted from my attack, being sent directly towards the ground and smashing into it with incredible force. The ground cracked once more and dozens of tons of dirt was sent up into the air, another crater being created by Prometheus' fallen form. Prometheus laid there for a few seconds, before groaning and pushing himself to his feet.

I grinned as I saw Prometheus shakily push himself to his feet, using his sword to rebalance himself. "Having a bad time Prometheus?" I asked the Titan cheekily, causing him to look up at me as I floated in the air. My grin just widened. "You know, seeing you down below me, all beaten and battered with your aura weakened is almost cathartic. You tried to kill me twice, tried to kill my best friend and for a while, apparently succeeded, and I hadn't gotten any closer to beating you."

Percy appeared a couple dozen feet behind Prometheus, boxing him in and making sure he was surrounded by both me and Percy. I charged energy into Thymos, lighting surrounding the weapon. "But now…you're about to die. And while you die, I want you to think about what your little quest for vengeance has done to you. You're literally leading an army of monsters to try and massacre a summer camp filled with teenagers and children."

Prometheus grunted a bit before her stood up fully. "I know exactly what I'm doing, son of Zeus, and why I'm doing it." Prometheus pulled something from his waist really quick and threw it at me. I was forced to dispel the energy I was charging and avoid whatever Prometheus had thrown at my form. It looked like some kind of mechanical sphere as I saw it fly past me, and it exploded into a ball of fire a few feet away from me.

I landed on the ground after dodging the flaming grenade and Prometheus continued to speak, as if he didn't just throw a fire grenade at me. "I know what I'm doing isn't the most moral thing. But I don't care anymore." Prometheus' voice took on a hard edge to it. "Your father sentenced me to have my liver eaten every day for eternity, as I'm sure you know. After millions of years, do you think there would be anything wouldn't do to see the Lord of Olympus at my feet?"

Prometheus shook his head. "No. There isn't a single thing I wouldn't do for the sake of revenge. Kill children, innocents, victims, worse. I'll kill anyone and everyone that stands in my way for revenge against Zeus. Anyone!" Prometheus shouted that last word and shook slightly. Prometheus then looked at me dead in the face and chuckled. "And for your information…I'm not the one leading the army."

As if on cue, an absolutely massive aura could be felt. Both me and Percy's eyes widened as we felt the insane energy erupt from further away in the forest. "Luke." I said simply, anger in my voice. In the Labyrinth, I wasn't able to sense just how powerful he really was, but now I had a good read on his strength. He had to be at least half Hades' full power, putting him in the realm of the Big Three's strength.

Prometheus chuckled. "Yes. I was simply the vanguard, nothing more. My lord leads the true offensive." Thousands of more, far weaker auras came into existence around Luke's. All of them swiftly moved towards camp, which just from aura sensing alone I could tell was struggling with Prometheus' vanguard forces.

Prometheus looked off in the distance towards camp. "All of them will die. Even with all of your defense, and with the power of the son of Hades, nothing can stop my lord." He looked to us, laughing slightly. "Even if you two were there, nothing would change. The army of the Titans is unstoppable. With me and my lord at the helm, nothing can stand in our way and Olympus will crumble before us."

A thought came to mind at Prometheus' words. "Nothing would change if either of us were there, you say?" The memory of me defeating Luke with a single punch when I accessed that new…power, went through my mind. "Let's test that then." I turned to Percy. "Percy, go back to camp and help them fend off Luke for a little while. I have something I can do that can beat him."

Percy looked at me in alarm and back to Prometheus. "But what about this guy? Don't you need my help to beat him? When I got here earlier, he was about to kill you."

I shook my head at Percy question. "No, I got this Percy. I know I was on the ropes earlier but that's only because he caught me off guard with that weird curse thing on his sword. Plus, his suit is apparently less than twenty two percent battery." I looked back at him, a serious look on my face. "Besides, our friends need help right now. You felt Luke's aura like I did, you can tell just how strong he's gotten." I looked back to Prometheus, shifting into a fighting stance. "Go. I got this, Percy."

Percy looked at me with a look of concern on his watery features, before in nodded in affirmation. "Alright, Zane. I'll go help them out." He turned around and prepared to zoom off, before looking back at me. "Don't die, okay?" Percy vanished in a burst of speed, his aura moving in the direction of camp.

I smiled slightly at Percy's words. "I won't, man." My smile turned into a hard glare as I looked at Prometheus. Prometheus stared back at me, assuming his two handed fighting stance once more. I slipped into my own stance and my aura flared while the lightning of my form expanded around me in a cage once more. "Let's end this once and for all, you bastard!"

Prometheus didn't say another word as he charged forward at me, the black haze of his curse energy surrounding his massive sword as he did so. I surrounded Thymos with my aura and chaotic energy imbued lightning surrounded the Heavenly Diamond weapon. Prometheus' and I charged at one another at full speed, intent on finishing the other off once and for all.

Our weapons smashed against one another at full force, creating a massive shockwave in all directions that created another crater all by itself. Me and Prometheus struggled against one another, evenly matched in strength. The lower level of power in Prometheus' suit, and my lower level of killing intent and anger with Percy's return having evened our power.

When we realized we couldn't overpower the other, both me and Prometheus pulled back and started to encircle one another, searching the other for any weakness or opportunity. Evenly, Prometheus struck first, trying to bisect me at the waist with one powerful stroke. I rolled backwards under the massive blade, creating distance between me and Prometheus.

Prometheus held up his left arm, and a slit opened on the upper side of his gauntlet. Instead of the previous elements and combinations of those elements that the slit had emitted before, the black haze of Prometheus' curse energy shot out of opening. The haze flew towards me, however I created a whirlwind of spiraling wind to dispel the black haze, making Prometheus' action useless.

The Titan was annoyed, which was proven when he growled in annoyance. He attacked me with a fierce barrage of attacks with his massive blade, combing all of the different elements and changing them with each swing. Fire, poison, magical lightning and the black haze of the curse energy coated the blade and alternated with each attack, keeping me on my toes as I dodged, parried and deflected Prometheus' barrage.

Eventually, I forced the armored Titan away from me with a telekinetic blast that sent him skidding back in the practically destroyed dirt ground. I held Thymos up into the air, allowing for lightning from the ever present thunderstorm in the sky that was created when I fought strike the weapon, imbuing the lightning with the chaotic energy.

I pointed the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar at Prometheus, lightning surging from the entire weapon. I released a blast of pure lightning and aura, condensed into one powerful attack. Prometheus tensed and quickly sidestepped the attack, barely avoiding being shock into oblivion. However, I focused my mind into the blast that was surging behind Prometheus and I willed a chaotic imbued lightning bolt to erupt from the blast that was quickly escaping my view.

The dark lightning smashed into Prometheus' back, being heavily conducted throughout his suit once more. Prometheus roared in pain, his pained grunt and jerks easily being heard over the sound of chirping birds. I charged at Prometheus, intent on smashing Thymos directly into his face at full power.

However, Prometheus did something I didn't expect. Powering through the pain of the chaotic energy imbued lightning, Prometheus reached to his armored belt to pull out a spherical mechanical object, one that seemed familiar. He threw it at me while I was charging him and before I reached him, I caught the sphere out of instinct and was about to throw it away from me out of instinct.

But as soon as the sphere made contact with my skin, a black warping darkness came over me, completely obscuring my vision. I knew exactly what was happening, and exactly where I was about to end up. I charged aura and lightning into Thymos, intent on blasting a portal right back to my regular dimensional space as soon as I materialized into Prometheus' pocket realm.

The night sky of millions of unfamiliar stars filled my vision, and I saw the endless rocky void of the realm Prometheus had forged for his own. Prometheus likely intended on trapping me here, trying to remove me from the battlefield no doubt. I thrusted out Thymos into the air, unleashing the several seconds of charged primordial power from the Heavenly Diamond weapon.

The lightning blast ripped a hole in reality and created a bridge between Prometheus' pocket dimension and the main one, just like how I had done the same thing several weeks prior in our first battle. I quickly jumped through, landing back on the cracked and heavily damaged surface where me and Prometheus had been fighting, ready in a battle stance.

However, the Titan was nowhere to be seen. I couldn't sense his aura and couldn't see his massive armored frame anywhere. I looked around in confusion, glossing over the still opened portal behind me. Did Prometheus run away? Did he just retreat?

My question was answered in the form of an incredibly sharp pain erupt from my back and abdomen, as Prometheus' massive blade pierced through my torso from behind and rip through my body. Blood exploded from the massive wound the sword had created as Prometheus quickly ripped his weapon from my body. I staggeredly turned around as fast as my injured form could, seeing Prometheus stand on the other side of the portal, blood covering his massive blade. "H-How?"

Prometheus kicked me directly in the face, sending me rolling and flipping through the dirt. When I stopped moving, I tried to stand myself up as blood poured on the ground from my heavily opened wound. Prometheus slowly walked over to my fallen form, looking down at me and he swished the blood away from his sword. "That dimension is one of my making, as I've said before. My own personal pocket dimension, one I can enter at will. Even without the travel spheres. I simply need them to bring over others."

Oh. Well, that explains how he got behind me. I pushed myself up on my knees, covered in my own blood. I reached for Thymos, which had fallen a few feet from me after Prometheus booted me across the dirt. Prometheus quickly kicked the weapon away, sending it flying dozens of meters and completely out of reach. "I think I've had quite enough of that awful curse stick for today. No more of that."

I felt drained, and the incredible wound from my torso definitely didn't help my energy levels either. I tried to summon a burst of aura, even a meager one, but Prometheus smashed his armored fist directly into my face, completely stopping my attempt. "This is over!" Blood flew from my mouth as I slammed on my back and pain shot through my face.

Prometheus grabbed my head angrily. "Stop fighting back! You're done! I've beaten you, for the third time! Just give up already!" Prometheus slammed my head into the ground, creating another crater just with the force. I grunted and groaned slightly in pain, as a synthesized voice spoke from Prometheus' suit. 'POWER ARMOR BATTERY: FIVE PERCENT.'

Prometheus groaned in annoyance slightly before standing up back to his feet. He two handed his blade once more and looked down at me, sighing as he did so. "I didn't expect for you to have such determination in you the third time we would battle. I underestimated how angry you would be after I killed the son of Poseidon."

I pushed myself on my knees, trying to summon up the energy and effort to defend myself. I looked up, seeing Prometheus draw back his blade, his hand tightly grasped around the large and long hilt of his massive blade. "You fought valiantly, Zane Williams. Die with honor." And with that, Prometheus swung his sword directly at my neck.

Time seemed to slow down and Prometheus' blade seemed to freeze in my perception. I tried to think of something, anything, to get out of this situation. I couldn't go into that new form that I had used against Luke earlier, as Thymos was Olympus know where right now. I wouldn't be fast enough to dodge it, as the injury in my torso prevented me from making any fast and dexterous movements. My healing wouldn't restore such an injury fast enough, and right now, I was screwed.

But I started to reach deep within myself, deep within my own energy. It was a very similar process to what I had done earlier, where I had accessed a much more massive portion of chaotic energy from Thymos. But this time, I was searching deep within myself, searching for an energy I knew was there. The aura of a certain son of Hercules.

Back during the whole alternate universe debacle, me and Matt gave each other a portion of each other's aura, mixing the energy with our own. Honestly, when using the technique, I wasn't sure it would work, as I had only seen it in things like ancient Greek texts in Annabeth's classes that described it. So when it did work, I was surprised.

But right now, I needed it. I needed Matt's energy, a portion of the power he calls 'Red Aura.' I didn't know how powerful a small portion of the power would be, considering we only had a small, but permanent part of each other's strength within each other. And even if I could call upon a decent power up, I wasn't sure I could even control it. Matt had to train for an entire year to control his anger enough to not lose control using the form, and I wasn't exactly the most level headed person if I was being honest.

But right now, it didn't even matter. I needed something to get me out of this situation, and this was all I could think of. So I focused, searching deep within my aura. And soon enough, I found it. The energy feel furious, uncontrolled and threatening to spill out at any second, the only reason it couldn't by itself was because in was deep underneath all my own natural power.

But now, I needed it to spring forth. I urged it, willed it to envelop me. I commanded it to strengthen me, fill me with it's power and bend to my will. Suddenly, I was starting to be enveloped with rage, anger I've only felt a few times in my entire life. I felt my body strengthen and my stamina return. The massive stab wound through my torso started to close and I felt the desire to tear Prometheus' head off intensify.

However, through some miracle, I keep it under control. I knew if I attacked him like some wild animal right now, Prometheus would be able to defend against my assault and kill me. I needed to keep a cool head right now, even if I have all this unbelievable rage coursing through me.

Time resumed to normal speeds and I shot to my feet quicker than Prometheus could even blink, catching the massive blade in between both of my hands. "W-What!?" Prometheus yelled in shock, surprised by how quickly I moved. "How!? You have a massive tear through your entire torso! How are you even standing right now!?"

Prometheus tried to pull his sword away from my grasp, but the weapon didn't even budge. Prometheus pulled, the ground cracking underneath him but he couldn't pull the weapon from my grasp. "Y-You're somehow even stronger than before! What's going on!? This should be impossible!" The searing rage burning through my body started to become harder to control as I heard Prometheus claims of impossibility.

Suddenly, a burst of a bright, burning red aura erupted around me. The aura burst ripped apart the ground as I began to breath heavily in sheer anger. The red aura around me became larger and larger, completely enveloping my form. "W-What is thing? Red energy?" Prometheus nearly whispered at my change in aura color.

With Prometheus' words, I officially lost control of the new intense anger. Roaring, I ripped Prometheus' sword away from his hands, leaving him completely defenseless. I threw the sword to the side and completely went to town of Prometheus, starting with a savage punch to the gut. Prometheus doubled over from the force of the blow, but I didn't allow him any respite.

I slammed my fist directly into his temple, before pulling my knee right into his side. I then followed up with a left hook to the neck, a right jab to the face, a kick to the groin and then an uppercut to the chin. I didn't stop there, as I did dozens of other attack combinations, not letting Prometheus have any moments of rest.

The armored Titan tried to defend himself, but between the sheer ferocity of my barrage and the enhanced power Matt's aura gave me, Prometheus really couldn't do very much, especially with his suit at low battery power. Eventually, after thousands of attacks on Prometheus' armor, physics eventually started working again and Prometheus was sent back by the force of thousands of enraged attacks all taking effect at once.

As Prometheus flew away, I regained some sense of control of my anger. I noticed my wound through my torso had fully healed. I also noted the power Matt's aura had given me was fleeting and fading, something that I couldn't keep for very long. That meant I needed to end this right now before Prometheus could recover.

I through out both of my arms in front of my face, pressing my wrists together as well. I focused the power of the Red Aura, channeling all of the energy and rage into a single point. The incredible anger was still there, still coursing through me, but now I had a much better handle on it. A bright red ball of energy formed in both of my outstretched hands, nearly blinding me

This was a bastardized version of what Matt called the 'Red Beam Cannon.' Dorky and cringy name aside, it was an immensely powerful technique that Matt learned from his father, where Matt used the power of his Red Aura and condensed it into a single blast towards his foes. What made it particularly dangerous was that Matt could somehow absorb the energy and auras of others and charge it into the attack, heavily weakening them and strengthening the blast immensely.

I didn't know how to do that. I knew how to manipulate aura and energy on a scale maybe even Matt didn't know how to, but the knowledge on how he can steal the energy of others eluded me completely. Instead, I would simply focus all of Matt's aura into a single point and blast it at Prometheus, who had smashed into the dirt several dozen feet away from all my previous attacks.

The Red Aura left my frame completely, all of it focusing into the ball of pure red energy in my hands. My lightning cage and small blue aura returned around my frame, its power having been restored somehow by the emergence of Matt's power.

The red burning ball of energy shimmered in my hands brighter than the sun. While it would be a far cry of what can Matt do with this attack, it was still going to be immensely powerful. The lightning around my arms crackled red, having their color changed just simply being in the Red Beam Cannon's presence

Prometheus sat up from the crater, groaning in pain before gasping at the burning ball of red energy in my hands. "Alright, Prometheus! It's time for your life to end! GO TO HELL!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, blasting the Red Beam Cannon directly at Prometheus downed form. A massive beam of pure red energy erupted from the ball of power in my hand, zooming towards Prometheus far faster than the speed of light.

Prometheus barely had time to even stand up before he saw the beam careening towards him. "Oh." That was all Prometheus could get out before he was completely consumed by my bastardized Red Beam Cannon, as the massive wave of energy fell over him before he could get out another word.

The blast kept up for nearly ten seconds, and seemingly split the forest in two. Whatever trees were left after me and Prometheus' epic battle were completely incinerated in a straight line as the beams engulfed them. The beam even passed through the hills and ground that had already been cracked and torn up by the earlier fight, and even completely destroyed a mountain off in the distance.

The false Red Beam Cannon eventually let up, only leaving behind sparkling red electricity racing up my arms for a few seconds, which also faded away as well. The blue aura and bright lightning of my Thunder Form returned, my stamina being restored slightly by the eruption of Matt's power. I surveyed the damage my blast had caused, noting there was still hundreds of pounds of dust and debris in the air, the sky and the wind also seemed to be in turmoil from the massive blast.

What had caught my eye, however, was the fact that Prometheus was still standing. The crazy thing was that he had only been moved a few feet by the blast, which shocked me. I know the blast wasn't anything special, as it was absolutely nothing compared to what Matt could do with his Red Beam Cannon, but considering how low power Prometheus' suit had been, and the fact that Matt's aura had restored my exhausted strength somewhat, it should have been able to do more.

Prometheus was simply standing there, unarmed and breathing heavily. His glowing eyes of his suit blinked off and on, like an old gas station light. Eventually, the same robotic voice could be heard. "POWER ARMOR BATTERY: ZERO PERCENT." And with those synthesized words, Prometheus' glowing eyes shut up and he tipped over like a cow, falling straight on his face as if he weighed a million tons.

I breathed a sigh of relief, as I had been afraid that massive blast wasn't enough. I had finally overwhelmed Prometheus' battery power on his suit and scored a win on the Titan. Now, it was time to deal with him. Permanently. As I walked over towards Prometheus' downed depowered armor, a large hatch opened on the back form of Prometheus' armor. The entire back half of the body opened up and a frame slowly staggered out of it.

Prometheus, now finally unarmored stood before me. He was wearing nothing except his skintight black suit, the one with a few golden Greek designs on it. Prometheus looked pretty worse for were, his black hair completely unkept and tangled, along with his nose bloody and broken. He looked exhausted, and his aura was pretty drained from all the Heavenly Diamond lightning I had pumped him with earlier.

Our eyes met, the electric blue of mine and the bright, intelligent green of his. We both knew what was about to happen, and Prometheus knew he only had one way out. His eyes darted to a belt of mechanical spheres on the belt of his depowered armor, the ones that allowed him to warp to other places, and he quickly tried to bolt towards it. I wasn't sure what he was doing, as he could just enter his personal dimension. He might have been worried I could track his aura and follow him, so it could be that.

Whatever it was, I wasn't just going to let him get away. I used my telekinesis, reaching out with my mind to find the closest weapon I could. Suddenly, a massive sword came hurling towards me, the large hilt landing in the palm of my hand. I raised an eyebrow, noting I had summoned Prometheus' sword to me, as it had been the closest weapon. I smirked a bit, knowing the irony of what was about to come.

I blurred towards Prometheus, who had almost reached his belt of mechanical warp spheres. I swung the massive sword through his torso as I passed him, the large blade being lighter than a feather with my incredible strength. I stopped behind Prometheus, the large sword in my hand being outstretched. Prometheus stopped in his tracks with a grunt, dropping the mechanical sphere he had just picked up.

"D-Dammit…" Prometheus wheezed up, before ichor exploded from his middle torso and his right arm. Prometheus fell in two halves, his upper halve falling to the ground behind him, and his lower half falling down on top of his depowered armor. His right arm, the one holding his mechanical warp sphere, also had fallen to the ground beside his top half, ichor shooting from it like a geyser.

Prometheus' entire mangled form was completely covered in ichor and his golden intestines were displayed all over the ground as they had been shot from the inside of his body after he was bisected in two. "I…was so…close." Prometheus whispered to himself, not having much energy left. "Z-Zeus…" Prometheus gasped out as his remaining hand gripped into a tight fist.

I reached out with my telepathy, finally being able to dive deep into Prometheus' unshielded mind. In his last moments of life, he was clinging on to existence with his sheer hatred and desire for revenge against my father. That was the only thing that had been driving him for the past three thousand years, after his entire existence was tortured for millions.

Seeing into the very depths of Prometheus' mind, Prometheus wasn't really a bad guy. Far from it actually. Like how he had described earlier in his first bout with both me and Percy, Prometheus had been the one to create humanity. His love for them, his creations and his children, were nearly boundless. He literally went against the decree of Olympus, the decree of my father, to help them. He had stolen fire from Olympus, and gave it to humanity.

But no good deed goes unpunished, it seems. Like the stories say, Prometheus was chained to a rock by my father and had his liver eaten by a giant eagle for millions of years for his transgression. The torture warped Prometheus' mind, corrupted his person and twisted him. The only thing that kept him going was his sheer, unbound hatred of Zeus for what he had done to him.

Even now, Prometheus wasn't a bad guy. He didn't like what he was doing, attacking innocent campers, serving Luke, leading an army of abominations. He only saw it as a necessary evil for his vengeance. Prometheus was a textbook example of the lesson 'Revenge is not the answer.' It corrupts you and turns you into something you can't recognized.

My heart filled with nothing but pity for the Titan, I lifted his massive sword above my head in both hands. "So long, Prometheus." I brought the large blade down on Prometheus' neck, severing the Titan's head with a burst of ichor. Prometheus head landed a few feet away, ichor spurting out the bottom. "Hopefully some time spent reforming will help your broken mind."

With my words, Prometheus' frame shimmered and faded away, leaving behind only his depowered armor and ichor stains. I stared down at the ichor stain left behind by the now dead Titan, before several flares of aura grabbed my attention. I narrowed my eyes in the direction of camp. Luke. He was still here.

I flared my blue aura and the lightning cage of my Thunder Form exploded around my body. I closed my eyes, searching for the Chaotic energy of my weapon, Thymos, and found it several dozen meters away in the destroyed forest that was me and Prometheus' battlefield. Thymos flew into my hand assisted by my telekinesis, and as soon as the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar touched my hand, I took flight at full speed towards Luke's flaring aura, holding both my weapon and the now late Prometheus'.

Thanks to my immense speed, I arrived at the site of the battle in a near instant. The wall that had been erected several hundred feet away from camp before the fight had been nearly completely annihilated, the splinters of the stockade being littered around the battlefield. Hundreds of pounds of golden monster dust was strewn everywhere, as thousands of monsters had been slain.

Not all of the casualties were on the Titan's side, however. The corpses of several, nearly twenty, demigods were all on the ground, all of them in different shapes of death. Some were simply stabbed, others had their necks cut, and some looked like they had been torn apart like a wild animal had caught up to them. My eyes narrowed in rage at the sight of my dead comrades.

Every monsters that had fought with the Titans was dead, absolutely none of them were in sight and no aura could be felt either. The army of campers were all on the damaged ground, having being either knocked there by something, or simply forced there by the pressure. All of them were downed in a circle around one person.

Luke. He stood in the middle of the army of defeated campers, almost all of them fallen to his power. His orange, blazing aura flaring around him as his golden, yellow eyes stared at the defeated demigods. He hadn't killed any of them himself as far as I could tell, likely because of some speech he was going to spout about the gods being awful and how they should all join him.

I looked at all my defeated friends, surveying their current states. My eyes fell upon Taylor first, seeing that he was pretty beat up. His clothes were torn and he was adorned in bruises and cuts, along with looking exhausted. Close by him was Nico, who looked like he had the hell beaten out of him. The son of Hades was covered in many cut, bruises and had several obvious broken bones. He was laying face down in the damaged ground, completely unconscious, but alive.

My eyes quickly looked through more of my friends, and I found Arthur and Annabeth kneeling side by side, both of them injured and exhausted looking. Arthur was missing all of his javelins and his buckler shield was destroyed, although he still held the broken shield hilt. He was trying to conjure up some kind of solar blast, but his hands could produce nothing. Annabeth was kneeling beside him, also covered in cuts and bruises as well. She was still barely holding onto her dagger and her arm drooped to the ground.

I also saw Tyson on the ground as well, completely unconscious and covered in several indentures in his body, as if he was hit by something immensely powerful. Close by the downed Titan, I saw some…satyr. He was around six and a half feet tall, covered in muscle and had massive horns larger than any I've ever seen. Sensing his aura, my eyes widened in surprise to find out that it felt like Grover. What the hell happened to him? How did he get so big, and how was he so powerful? He was the fourth strongest aura here!

I saw all of the camp regulars amongst the defeated crowd, Charles Beckendorf, Silena Beauregard, The Stoll twins, Clarisse and even my universe's Harper. All of them were similarly injured standing before Luke, none of them being capable of doing a damn thing. I even saw Chiron laying on his side, unconscious, injured and his bow being broken in two.

I saw other lying defeated that I didn't expect to find. My half brother, Dionysus, was here as well. His purple toga had been ripped up, leaving him pretty much in nothing but his toga skirt and sandals, and the rest of his body was covered in gashes and bruises, all of them oozing ichor. I also saw Briares, the Hekatonkheires, also kneeling defeated nearby. Mainly of his arms were battered and broken, with some of them actually being torn completely off and gushing freely with an odd, orange covered blood.

The most surprising person I saw was Daedalus, the inventor of the labyrinth. I wasn't sure when he arrived, but apparently, he had shown up to help the campers for some reason. He was very badly damaged, with much of his machinery on full display. He was on both of his knees, too damaged to even stand and his blade was broken in half on the ground. His hellhound, Ms. O'Leary was nowhere to be seen, likely having been killed by Luke or something.

Only one person stood against Luke on their feet, that person being Percy. Percy was in his Earthshaker Form, barely standing due to an absolutely horrific wound deep in the center of his torso. Seeing blood and gore gush out of a body literally made of water looked weird. Percy didn't even seem to be in any actual pain from his injury, but the injury did seem to make it difficult to move properly.

Luke was seemingly annoyed by Percy's inability to take any meaningful damage. "Perhaps this time…" Luke blurred towards Percy in a burst of speed I had absolutely no chance to track and appeared right in front of him. He charged his left arm full of his menacing, orange aura and slammed it directly in the hole in Percy's body. Percy grunted slightly as Luke hoisted him into the air. "…you'll stay dead."

Luke pushed his aura into Percy's open wound, and filled Percy's body with his orange energy. Percy twitching and contorted slightly, before literally exploding in a shower of blood, gore and orange energy. Luke grinned sadistically at the grizzly sight, and my eyes widened in horror. I knew whatever Percy was now, he could survive a lot of punishment, but this?

Thankfully, Percy's scattered remains all around Luke slowly started to pull themselves together, as if affected by some kind of gravity well. Luke groaned in annoyance, as if this had already happened. "Turn him to a pile of dust, he comes back. Completely incinerate him, he comes back. What does it take to kill him permanently?" Luke's eyes finally noticed my presence and he turned his body towards me. "Ah, Zane."

My eyes narrowed into a dark glare towards the son of Hermes turned Lord of Time. "Luke." I pointed Prometheus' massive blade in his direction, which I was holding in my left arm. "Finally decided to come do your own dirty work for once and try to massacre all the people who once looked up to you and called you one of their own?" My right hand tightened around Thymos as I looked at the new Titan lord in anger.

Luke simply smirked at my words, not at all bothered how I called him a traitor. "Why, yes, Zane. The destruction of this camp and the removal of all the Olympian assets here in the form of the demigod campers is most vital to my plans, so I decided to personally see it through. Although Prometheus should have been enough, considering he defeated both you and Percy at the same time, twice."

Luke's eyes fell upon Prometheus' massive, ichor covered sword. "Considering your holding his blade and how I can no longer sense Prometheus' aura anywhere, I take it you've killed him? If you have then I was even more right to deal with camp myself. Especially if you've grown so powerful to defeat Prometheus alone." Luke grinned at me. "Every day, the words I spoke when you came to me for training only prove more and more true. Your potential and your strength is simply astounding."

I nodded at Luke's earlier words, the glare on my face only getting darker. "Yes. Prometheus is dead. We had one final bout and we both gave it our all." My aura flared and the lightning around my form intensified exponentially. "And you're about to join him once and for all, Luke! This war ends before it can even begin, right now!"

Luke's smirk widened at my words and he began to laugh as if I just told a joke. "You really think you can defeat me, Zane? Have I already not proved I'm much stronger than you now? Even in your Universal Titanium armor, you can't last a second against me when I get serious." Luke motioned to all of the downed and defeated demigods around us. "Not to mention any help you could receive from any allies won't be there, not that it would make a difference."

I looked at Luke, a dead serious look expression on my face. "I can defeat you, Luke. In fact, I distinctly remember doing so back in Antaeus' arena in the Labyrinth." Luke's smirk fell from his face faster than the speed of light and was replaced by a look of annoyance and irritation. I held Thymos in the air, hints of a smirk building on my face. "With this, I can even the difference in our power. Actually, I can completely surpass you."

Luke glared at me, any hints of his earlier bravado and smugness completely gone. "If you were at your full strength, perhaps. But look at you." Luke motioned towards me with his hand. "Your battle with Prometheus tired you out. You may not exactly be exhausted, but you're not anywhere close to your full power." Luke's hand gripped around Backbitter, and his drew it from it's sheathe. "Face it, Zane. Even with that power from your little chaos stick, you can't defeat me."

I glared right back at Luke, not backing down an inch. Luke was right. I couldn't win against him as I was now. I wasn't sure exactly how much stronger that new form of mine made me, but I know with how tired and weak I currently was, I couldn't last longer than maybe a couple of minutes against the traitor son of Hermes. "Even if you're rigsht, there's absolutely no way in hell I'm backing down. If I don't stop you now, you'll destroy camp."

Luke grinned at my words and the expression of determination on my face, almost amused. "Good. It wouldn't exactly be enjoyable if you just gave up. I want to see you struggle against my superior might before I finally decide to end your miserable little life." Luke raised both of his arms and his orange aura blazed to life around him. "Now…give me everything you've got, Zane. Don't disappoint me."

I held Thymos close to my face. "I don't plan to." I closed my eyes, focusing in on the chaotic power deep within the weapon. The familiar feeling from whenever I called forth the power of the Heavenly Diamond weapon earlier in my first confrontation with Luke filled my being. I felt the pillars and strands of the infinite power of the Heavenly Diamond brush against my aura, pushing my strength to insane levels.

My bright blue aura took on a darker hue and expanded to the width that my lightning cage of my regular Thunder Form, filled with chaotic energy. The lightning around me also exploded with activity, it's reach expanding as well and the color of the electricity turning dark blue. I felt immensely powerful, millions of times stronger than my normal Thunder Form, although I knew I was significantly weaker than my first usage of this power against Luke.

I opened my eyes, gazing about the changes and the darkness my new form brought forth. "I really need a new name for this upgrade now, don't you think? Thunder Form enhanced by chaotic energy from Heavenly Diamond." I smirked, having the perfect idea. "I think I'll call it Heavenly Thunder Form. Sounds pretty cool, wouldn't you agree, traitor?" I pointed Prometheus' sword towards Luke, which was surprisingly filled with Heavenly Diamond lightning, while I held Thymos back down at my side.

Luke scoffed before entering a combat stance. "You somehow managed to make a cringy sounding name even more cringy sounding." With those words, Luke charged at me at full speed, almost like an orange blur. We clashed weapons, the spiked ball of Thymos slamming against the odd blade of Backbitter, creating a massive shockwave that blew everyone around us back several feet.

What followed was a repeat of our battle last year during the Atlas quest, where we were nearly even in strength and power. We attacked each others with thousands, maybe even millions of different strikes every second. We were probable impossible to see by everyone in camp, our speed being too immeasurable for even people like Percy to track.

Luke, due to my exhaustion from my fight with Prometheus, was stronger than me. He could attack quicker and harder than I could, and he didn't have a likely time limit on his power like me. However, my Universal Titanium armor and Prometheus' sword made a huge difference. None of Luke's attacks that landed could actually hurt me as he wasn't fast enough to blitz past my defenses to hit me in a weak spot, and my new massive blade threw Luke off, as he'd never fought me with the weapon in my possession before.

Luke dodged under a quick swipe to hit neck from Prometheus' sword and kicked me away from him, before lifting his sword above his head and charging it with orange energy. He swiped downwards, sending a blast of pure energy directly towards me, forcing me to sidestep to the left to avoid it. Luke immediately tried to blitz towards me and shove Backbitter through my neck.

I charged Heavenly Diamond enhanced lightning through Prometheus' sword, the Universal Titanium buster sword channeling the electricity incredibly easily. Like Prometheus' armor, the late Titan's former blade was not protected from chaotic energy, it seems. I swung Prometheus' blade directly at Luke as he blitzed towards me, forcing him to bring up Backbitter as a defense.

Prometheus' sword smashed against Luke's symbol of power, stopping the traitor in his tracks a few feet from me. I charged even more chaotic lightning into the massive sword, allowing it to channel through Luke's blade and into him. Luke grunted and jerked around as the dark lightning infused into him, making him vulnerable.

I backstepped away from Luke form, creating distance between the two of us. I charged Thymos with a bit of my aura and shot a blast of dark lightning at Luke as I was in the air. The lightning smashed into Luke's frame, sending him flying away several feet into the air as he was being electrocuted. I slammed Prometheus' sword into the ground and sheathed Thymos, freeing up my hands for what I was about to do.

I held up both my hands, which were surrounded by the dark blue aura and dark blue chaotic lightning of Heavenly Thunder Form. I charged a bit of pure aura into the palms of my hands, and two small balls of dark blue energy that seemed to generate lightning from it formed. I aimed it at Luke's form, which had stabilized in the air, as if he finally caught himself.

I charged more aura into the two small balls of energy in my hands, allowing them to become larger and larger. Eventually, two large spheres of pure dark blue chaotic energy spurted with lightning were in front of me, absolutely sparkling with power. I was about to blast both of them at Luke, intent on erasing him from existence with the chaotic energy enhanced blasts of aura.

But then, something very inconvenient happened. My aura and energy started to become weaker. The energy balls in my hands dissipated, quickly losing their power as if something had consumed their very existence. My eyes widened, noticing the very same thing was happening to my aura. It's strength and size was rapidly decreasing, as if it was melting.

Before I could even think anything else, Luke appeared in front of me in a blur of orange and unleashed a barrage of punches, kicks and strikes so fast I couldn't even see any of them clearly. I was immediately sent blasting down to the ground, creating a crater in the middle of my defeated friends. Just in that simple strain of attacks from Luke, my entire body ached tremendously. He had to have hit me thousands of times in just a split second, far faster than I could even react to.

Luke floated back down to the ground, looking at me with a disappointed expression etched on his face. "You've grown weaker. Much weaker." I tried to stand up as quickly as possible, but before I could even blink, Luke was standing on top of me with one foot, pinning me to the ground. It felt like a massive weight was on my chest, making me unable to move.

Luke looked down at me, sheathing Backbitter at his side. "I found out what that new form of yours was after you gave it that goofy name. You are using chaotic energy from Heavenly Diamond to enhance all of your characteristics, physical and energy based, immensely. However, I doubt even you realize the drawback of it."

I knew what Luke was talking about. How my new form basically drained my energy rapidly after a certain time frame. "I-I realize what the drawback is." I coughed as I tried to force Luke's foot off my chest. I grabbed the hilt of Thymos and tried to slam the weapon into Luke kneecap. But before I could do so, Thymos was sent flying away before I could even blink by an energy flash from Luke.

Luke grabbed me by my neck and lifted me in the air. "Then you do realize that by running out of energy with all that chaotic energy surging through you, your soul will be destroyed, right?" My eyes widened, shook by the declaration by Luke. Luke smirked, before punching me back down to the ground. "I guess you didn't know that little tidbit then. Would have been funny to watch you erase your own soul on accident."

I knew whatever the Heavenly Diamond energy would do to me if I ran out of energy in my new form would be bad, but I didn't expect losing my soul and having my existence be destroyed would happen. I actually felt dread overcome me for a few seconds as the implications set in. Eventually, a look of determination came up over my face and I shakily stood from the ground.

I glared at Luke, my aura still decreasing rapidly. Hell, I think I was almost as weak as my regular Thunder Form now. "I don't care, Luke. If it means protecting the ones I care for and love, I'll be glad to trade my soul if it means they can live on." I held Prometheus' sword up on my shoulder, dropping into a combat stance once more. "I'll stand in your way until I die, you motherfucker. So get ready for round two."

Luke scoffed at my words. "'Round Two,' huh?" Luke then appeared right in front of me and slammed his fist into my stomach. Universal Titanium armor or not, I felt almost the full force of Luke's immense blow. A large glob of blood erupted from my mouth and I dropped to my knees, clutching my stomach in pain. My armor was undamaged, although I could tell Luke had practically flattened my abs with his strike. My Heavenly Thunder Form fluttered a bit, before dispersing as I could no longer maintain it.

Luke looked down at me with a smirk on his face and his orange aura coated arm outstretched. "Your tenacity is unmatched, Zane. No matter how strong your opponents become, no matter how dire the odds are, you never give up and give any ground to your enemy. No matter how much I deeply hate you, that has always stuck out to me."

I looked up at Luke, a glare on my face as I seethed in pain from his strike. Luke held his hand down to me, outstretched. "I know this sounds cliché, but I could honestly use someone like you, Zane. You're powerful, determined and you understand what I'm fighting for." Luke looked back at the defeated circle of demigods around us. "I am fighting for them."

I scoffed at Luke's words, knowing he was trying to play me like a fiddle. "You honestly expect me to believe that, Luke? 'Fighting for them?' Get that bullshit out of here!" Luke's head snapped back to me quicker than I could blink, staring down at me. "We all know you're doing this for yourself! You're nothing but a whiny brat who could never get enough attention! You're only doing this for your own glory."

Luke's face twisted in rage at my words. "'My own glory!?' I'm doing this for all of our glory!" Luke looked back at all the campers, who only looked at him in fear. "The gods have ignored us for too long! They don't care for us! They simply use us to do their dirty work! Do you even know how many demigods here in this very camp don't even know who their divine parent is!?" I was silent, legitimately unable to answer Luke's question.

Now it was Luke's turn to scoff once again. "Of course. Zane Williams, the most powerful demigod in the universe, couldn't give two shits about all the lowly unclaimed demigods in this camp. You're too busy getting presents in the form of Heavenly Diamond weapons from your father and breaking open portals to alternate dimensions!"

Luke looked around at the campers once more. "I am the one who cares! The one who cares about all of you! I created an army, fused with the Titan of Time, and waged war on Olympus for the sake of every ill-treated demigod in camp!" Luke smiled, creating a fist with his hand. "Whenever I defeat the Olympians and sit upon the throne of the universe, I will make things different! We will all get the glory we should have been promised and fulfill our divine birthright!"

I slowly started to stand up off the ground, looking Luke directly in the eye. "Luke, I'll be the first one to admit, the Olympians haven't been the most kind rulers around." Luke scoffed at that, but I continued. "But this isn't the way to do things. We can't expect things to be different if we simply rise up and overthrow the previous generation whenever we don't like the way they rule. History will simply repeat itself."

Luke smirked at my words. "Not whenever I rule. Things will be different this time." Luke held up at hand. "But enough talk. Now is the time for decision. I can already guess what you'll say, Zane, so I'll skip the whole thing with you." Luke looked around at the rest of the campers. "But what about all of you? Will you join me and the Titans? Overthrow those who mistreated you and treated you like garbage? Are you ready to fight for your fellow demigod? Because if you don't…" Luke's hand was coated in his bright orange aura, and burned with power. "The alternative is this…" Everyone was silent at Luke's threat.

I almost rolled my eyes at Luke's hypocrisy. "Not even a minute after promising you would be a better leader than the Olympians, you prove yourself no better than them at all." I powered up into my regular Thunder Form, barely having enough energy to outpower my normal base form full strength. "And if you think I'll simply sit down and die to a treacherous bastard like you…" I slipped into a fighting stance, loosely holding on to Thymos and Prometheus' sword. "You have another thing coming."

Luke was completely unperturbed by my words and a small smirk made it's way onto his face once more. "Well, I didn't expect your answer to really be anything else than a resounding no." Luke turn his attention to the defeated crowd around us. "But now I'll hear all of your decisions. Will you join the Titans, or will you die with the Olympians?"

For a few seconds, no one said anything. Brushing against the thoughts of some of the nearby campers, I could tell they were considering his offer, only if to survive the immediate situation. However, nobody said anything. Either they were resolute in their conviction to defend camp, or they were too terrified to make a decision.

A false expression of disappointment came over Luke's facial features. "Well, if none of you will join me, then I am forced to destroy you. Without confirmation of your loyalty, you are a risk to the operations of the Titan army." A sadistic smirk came up over his face as he raised his glowing orange hand into the air. He looked directly at me and his grin nearly split his face. "Goodbye, Camp Half-Blood!" Luke then brought his aura covered hand down towards the ground.

But before his energy could level the entire camp and eradicate all of us from existence, lightning collided with Luke and sent him sprawling in the dirt. Lightning that didn't come from me. Luke was surprisingly injured from the blast, but he pulled himself up while groaning in pain. "W-What was that? L-Lightning!?" Luke twisted his head towards me. "How did you conjure lightning so powerful in such a weak state!?"

"He didn't." A very familiar, masculine and powerful voice rung out from above. Everyone snapped their heads up into the sky, seeing a large and immensely powerful divine figure. He was ten feet tall, wearing a white and gold gilded toga and carrying a bronze cylinder with powerful bursts of lightning jutting from the ends. His hair was a complete copy of mine, jet black and parted down the middle, the length down to his shoulders. His face was handsome, covered in a dark beard speckled with stormy grey spots. It was my father, Zeus.

My eyes widened in complete shock at the appearance of my father. "F-Father!? You're here?" The last time I saw my dad was on Olympus after the whole Atlas quest, when he had reality warped the Burden away when we defeated the mighty Titan. He had come to help us when we needed it, but he didn't actively interfere in the fighting. But now he was here, and Luke hadn't been defeated yet.

Zeus chuckled at my surprised questioning. "Yes, my son. I am here." Zeus looked around at everyone, a small frown covering his face. "This matter is incredibly dire, one that could result in the deaths of everyone in camp, and one that could spire even further to more deaths. Given it's gravity, I see the need to personally interfere in this situation." Zeus landed on the ground beside me and put his massive hand on my shoulder. "You've done incredibly well on your own so far, Zane. Not many can boast going toe to toe with the Lord of The Titans on multiple occasions. But now, sit back and I will handle this."

Luke, who was silent up until now, took offence to Zeus' words. "Oh, you'll handle 'this', huh?" Luke grinned and his orange aura exploded around him. "You know, I've been looking forward to the day when I would kill you, 'son.' I didn't expect it would be this soon, and I didn't expect I would get to do it in front of all of your subjects."

My father stared Luke down straight in the face, an intense gaze in his eyes. "You are a fool to assume that you are my equal, 'father.' While the full potential of the fusion of your essence and the mind, soul and body of the son of Hermes has the potential to surpass your previous peak in power, you are still nowhere close just yet. And to add to that…" Zeus' blue aura exploded around him, completely dwarfing Luke's in size and power. Luke paled at Zeus' showcasing of his strength. "I am far stronger than the last time we faced each other."

Luke was quiet for a few seconds, before a look of sheer anger passed over his face. "Don't you mock me, Zeus!" Luke's orange aura blared around him again, and I could tell his sheer rage and overarching hatred for my father blinded his judgement. "I will destroy you and everything you hold dear! Including Olympus and everyone who follows it!" Luke charged orange energy into both of his hands, preparing to blast it towards Zeus.

Zeus didn't even blink at Luke's outrage and flaring of power. He simply held up his hand that was no holding the Master Bolt and a blast of lightning erupted from it, colliding with Luke faster than everyone could react to. Luke immediately seized up in pain and his aura blasts vanished. Luke fell to the ground, convulsing in pain. My father appeared over the down traitor, charging more lightning into his other hand. "Your rage blinds you, son of Hermes. Now, to deal with you before the war can become a problem."

Luke looked up at the King of Olympus, his face being lit up by the brightness of the lightning. "Damn you, Zeus. I will end your very existence and toss your shredded soul into the deepest pits of Tartarus." A bit of sense seemed to come back into Luke's eyes. "However, I know I can't do so yet. I have been a fool to challenge you so brazenly without an equalizer." A grin came up on his face while his eyes looked at Thymos. "I have just the thing for it as well."

Luke quickly pulled out a mechanical sphere from his belt, the same type that Prometheus used to escape into his dimension. "So long, 'son.'" Luke, instead of pressing a button on the side of the sphere, simply crushed it. Instead of the contained wormhole that would usually be created, a powerful and unstable one was made.

The unstable wormhole wildly shook like a crazed curly up snake and the landscape around it started to crack and tear with it's incredible quantum power. But before it could get too out of hand and dangerous, Zeus held up his hand and created a telekinetic barrier around the unstable portal. If it was me making the barrier, I probably would have struggled and failed to contain the unstable strength of the portal, but Zeus' mastery of divine telekinesis far outstripped mine, and he effortlessly contained the portals might.

Eventually, a golden glow started to encase the wormhole, a golden glow very similar to the power my father used against Atlas' Burden several months ago during that quest. The wormhole slowly ceased to exist, and my father let up his barrier that was created. Zeus sighed after the wormhole's disappearance. "Escaped again, even with my presence here. Luke Castellan is more slippery than I expected."

Everyone started to stand up and recover, now that the danger had finally passed and Luke was no longer here. Everyone seemed to stand in awe of Zeus' presence, as most campers had never even seen him before, except the ones who went on that Olympus field trip a long time ago. I dropped out of my Thunder Form and nearly collapsed on the ground from lack of energy, but I kept my footing. "We'll get him eventually. He can't escape every time we confront him."

My father nodded at me with a smile. "Yes. Luke will eventually get what is coming to him." I was about to say more to my father, maybe talk to him about Prometheus, maybe about Percy or Calypso, but his eyes trailed to Chiron and Dionysus, who had both stood up and were about to organize clean up from the battle. Zeus seemed to sense my thoughts. "We'll speak soon, Zane. I must speak to Chiron and Dionysus about the events of the battle." I nodded at Zeus' words as he moved over towards them, my mind heavy on the immense amount of events that had transpired in such a small amount of time.

(000)

Over the next hour or so, the surviving campers started to clean up the field of battle and get a head count on the total number of casualties. Nearly twenty demigods were slain by the invading monster forces, along with nearly a dozen satyrs and nymphs who also died defending camp. Even Briares, the Hekantonkheire, had been destroyed by Luke when he had arrived.

Nobody among the dead was anybody I knew, except for one of Dionysus' sons. I knew the wine god was going to be in a terrible mood for the next few weeks, so I made a mental note to avoid him during that time. Also, apparently Daedalus had also died, but not before redeeming himself to help save camp and giving his laptop to Annabeth, if what I learned from my friends was correct.

While helping with clean up, Taylor had caught me and everyone else who was out of the loop up to speed with what his side of the group had been doing for the past few weeks since we separated. Apparently him and Arthur had made up, which made sense as Arthur was no longer pissed at me anymore, and they had found Pan.

Grover had taken over the explanation after Taylor told me the last little fact. Apparently Pan had been hiding away from humanity and the gods due to human's desecration of the environment, and had been about to kill himself via losing faith in his own existence. Grover described the process as fading, where when a god loses faith in what they stand for and believe in, they permanently die.

This was about to happen to Pan, and to avoid this, he did some sort of fusion with Grover, which explained his radical appearance change. It was pretty similar to what Luke had done with Kronos over a year ago in the Sea of Monsters, but easier. Since Grover was a monster and technically didn't have a soul, Pan's soul more or less became his once they fused and Grover gained all of Pan's strength, abilities and memories, whilst keeping his own mind.

Their side of events had been weird, but our side had been much crazier and more explosive. When my half of the group told the other half what had happened since we had split up, their jaws practically dropped on the floor. I told them about Percy's death, my two week long disappearance (Although I excluded Calypso's presence from the explanation), Antaeus' little fight club, my unlocking of a new form and everything with Daedalus and Rachel. I also excluded Annabeth's dark deeds, as I would let her tell everyone herself when she was ready.

Taylor was shell shocked from my retelling of the events. "So Prometheus nearly killed you and actually killed Percy in Hephaestus' forge!?" I nodded in affirmation of Taylor's question. Taylor then shook his head in disbelief and pointed at Percy. "Then how is he here if he's supposed to be dead?"

I turned to Percy, and eyebrow raised at Taylor's question. "That is a good question, Taylor. Percy, you said you were still dead earlier when we were fighting Prometheus, right? What did you mean by that exactly?" Percy still being dead made sense, considering he had pulled himself back together even after Luke had turned him into a pile of scattered meat.

Percy sighed at my question, no doubt thinking on how to explain what he meant. "Well, like I said before, I'm still technically dead. I've shown it by being able to come back from injuries that should one hundred percent kill me, but since I'm still dead, they literally can't."

Nico looked like he understood what Percy was saying. "So that's why you feel like a soul from the Underworld." We all looked at Nico in confusion, especially me since I could feel Percy's aura, and I didn't sense it being different. "It's a son of Hades thing. I have this ability to kind of be able to tell whenever people die and are dead near me. It's why I knew Percy had died but wasn't sure if Zane was still alive or nor after fighting Prometheus, since Zane was blasted outside of my range."

Percy nodded. "Yeah, like you said, I do feel like a soul from the Underworld, mainly because I just walked right out whenever I felt the battle going on." Everyone looked at Percy in shock, and he rolled his eyes. "Like being dead was going to stop me from helping you guys, especially when I sensed Prometheus near camp again. I just transformed and super sped out the entrance. Pretty easy considering I remember where it was since we've been there."

Something was still confusing me. "Hang on. Why didn't Hades try and stop you from leaving, Percy? I know that no one else in the Underworld would have been able to thanks to your power, but he is still in a different league than us." Well, a different league in my regular Thunder Form. I think things would be different now considering the existence of my new Heavenly version.

Percy shrugged again. "Not really sure why he didn't. Maybe he didn't expect me to leave so quickly, or maybe he let me go after feeling what was going on up there. I'm just glad I got here in time to save you, Zane." Percy then sighed and a sad smile came onto his face. "I'll probably have to go back after everything is all wrapped up, since me being here technically breaks the laws of reality."

Annabeth looked terrified of the prospect, as she had basically been clinging on to Percy ever since the battle had ended. Heh, I'm sad I didn't get to see that reunion. Must have been legendary. "T-They can't do that! You just came back! We wouldn't have won without you! That should be enough to convince them to let you stay, right!?"

Percy smiled sadly at Annabeth, as if he knew something like this was going to happen. "I'm not so sure, Annabeth. I was technically going to be the demigod in the prophecy, the one who was going to decide the fate of Olympus. But now, I'm dead and I can't be that demigod anymore." He looked at me, that same smile on his face. "That falls to Zane now, and we all know he's a better choice for that position. It might be better for me to stay dead, and the gods probably know this."

Annabeth couldn't even get anymore words out after hearing Percy's words, tears trailing heavily down her cheeks. She hugged Percy tightly, and I could hear her sobs being muffled by Percy's torso. Percy returned the hug, nestling his face in Annabeth's hair.

The sight nearly broke me, and the fact that Percy would have to return to the Underworld when this was all finished finally truly dawned on me. Percy's words from earlier also echoed in my mind, how he said I would be a better pick for the prophecy. He was wrong, completely dead wrong about that. I would be a horrible choice, especially due to the horrendous sins I had committed in the past.

I steeled myself and a look of determination came up on my face. "That's not going to happen." Everyone turned to me after hearing my words, confusion written on all of their faces. "You're going to stay, Percy, and you'll be returned to life. I promise." I looked over to the middle of the battlefield, where my father, Chiron and Dionysus were all still talking with each other, likely about the battle and what they were going to do in the future. "I'll speak to my father about it, and I'll ask him to bring you back."

I started to saunter over to where the three immortals stood, but a strong hand on my shoulder stopped me. I turned back, seeing that it was Percy. The son of Poseidon shook his head. "Zane, you don't have to do that." I looked at him in shock. Why the hell would he deter me from trying to bring him back to life? "Like I said, It's better if I remain dead. It opens up the spot in the prophecy for you." Percy smiled. "If it means for the safety of the world and all of you, I'm willing to stay dead so that someone better than me can be the one in the prophecy."

I stared at Percy for a few seconds, a deadpan look on my face. Finally, I spoke. "Percy, that's the dumbest shit I've ever heard come out of your mouth, and you're already famous for being a fucking idiot." Percy's smile quickly turned into a look of surprise. "Percy, you being dead only hurts us. We're going to need everyone strong we can get, especially with how badly Luke kicked our asses today. And he's only going to get even more powerful."

I wrapped Percy in a tight hug. "And the bigger reason that what you said is retarded, is you're our fucking friend." Percy tensed in my arms, but I continued. "Fuck this stupid prophecy and fuck whatever the gods think. You're our friend and we need you. We want you to be here with us and we'll be damned if we're going to let your own stupidity stand in the way of that." I separated from the son of Poseidon and patted him on the shoulder. "Now shut the fuck up and let me go get my dad to bring you back to life, you complete seaweed brain."

Percy was silent, not saying a single word after my little speech. Percy then nodded; a smile clear on his face. Taking this as confirmation for his blessing, I marched right on over to where my father was talking with Dionysus and Chiron. As I got within twenty feet of them, Zeus' eyes trailed over to me and then he gave Chiron and Dionysus a look. Both Chiron and Dionysus nodded at the lord of the skies, and both of them began to walk away. Zeus turned towards me, a fatherly smile on his face. "My son. I know why you've come."

I smirked at him. "What? A son can't just talk to his father about how the weather is, or about how last week's football game went?" He chuckled and I shook my head. "But yeah, you're right. I do have a reason besides that." A certain Demi-Titan/Titaness flashed in my mind, and a weight of guilt appeared around my neck. "Well, a couple of reasons. But before any of that, I have a couple of questions."

Zeus' face suddenly became serious, as if he was expecting what I was about to ask. "It is about the Creator of Mankind, correct?" I nodded in affirmation, not at all bothered my father knew what I was going to ask about. Zeus sighed, before looking at the slightly cloudy sky. "Prometheus' story and fate is one of my greatest regrets, Zane. I take it you are going to ask why I imprisoned him and why I gave him such a horrific sentence?"

I nodded at my father's question. "Yeah. I know Prometheus went against your decree and all, stealing fire from Olympus for the mortals, but you had an eagle eat his liver everyday for millions of years. A little harsh, don't you think?" My mind flashed back to my battle with the Titan. "After he was freed by Heracles, he immediately applied his incredible intelligence and cunning mind to try and kill you eventually. He even killed Percy and was willing to slaughter camp to achieve that goal."

Zeus didn't turn his gaze from the clouds, although I felt a faint rumble off in the distance. "Yes. I know of what Prometheus has done in his vendetta against me, which makes my decision to punish him all those years ago even more painful, as this is all my fault." Zeus sighed and looked back down to me. "Like I told you in the Sea of Monsters, Zane, I used to be a completely different god. I was jealous, vengeful and above all, afraid. My reign was new in those days, in it's infancy. As was my judgement."

Zeus continued. "I made many, many poor decisions in my early days as king, Zane. My judgement of Prometheus' actions, my absorption of Metis, and my attempt to wipe out mortal kind thousands of years ago for what I assumed was blasphemous offenses towards Olympus. I assume you are familiar with the story of Nikandreos, the mortal turned god, from your escapades with that alternate universe, correct?"

My mind flashed to Talon, the son of Nikandreos from Matt's reality. I didn't know the full details, only what Matt knew from his own memories and experience. "Yes, father. I know of what happened, or at least that universe's version of what transpired. It can't be much different here, however, right?"

Zeus shook his head. "Most likely not. As I was saying, my actions in the early half of my reign have had dire consequences for not only myself, but for all Olympus, even nearly leading to it's destruction. I have taken a long look at my actions from the past and deliberated that I was in the wrong in nearly all of them. I've taken steps to become a better king and a better god, although that does not change what I've done."

Zeus sighed once more. "Including what I did to Prometheus. I hadn't had my change of heart yet before Heracles freed him, so I hadn't done so myself. Now Prometheus' hatred for me is boundless and he was willing to cast aside his very morality to destroy me. To sacrifice the very mortals he risked so much for just to have a chance at destroying me. It hurts more than you know to see of all what he's done because of what I've done."

I thought on my father's words, barely being able to comprehend how much guilt he must be feeling right now. Perhaps the version of my father from a few thousand years ago wouldn't care, but the current one was different. "Well, it's a good thing I stopped him then, right? I'm not sure where he is going to end up, likely Tartarus, but I hope he can find it in him to let go of everything. It's only going to make things worse for him."

Zeus nodded. "Yes, it is a good thing you defeated him. Although, I wouldn't hold on to too much hope that Prometheus will change. He is not the figure from the stories and legends no longer. His mind is twisted, skewed by my torment. He is an entirely different person now, and not in the good way." Zeus sighed and shook his head. "Now enough about Prometheus. I believe you had a couple of things you needed to ask me, son? Things pertaining to the son of Poseidon, and a certain child of Atlas?"

My father's words brought my mind right back on track. "Yes. You already know what happened to Percy when we fought Prometheus in Mt. St. Helens and you know of Calypso's punishment and imprisonment on their island, right?" My father nodded. I knelt before my father, looking down at the ground. "Father, I ask that you reverse both of their fates. Please, free Calypso from their imprisonment and revive Percy Jackson. I beg of you."

Zeus was silent for a few seconds, before he sighed. "That's not exactly a simple request, my son." I looked up in confusion at the King of Olympus. Not a simple request? That doesn't make any sense, you're literally ZEUS. The strongest being in all of Greek Mythology, the number one, the crème dela crop. There shouldn't be anything you can't do.

My father seemed to sense my thoughts. "Zane, Percy dying fighting Prometheus and Calypso being imprisoned are their fates. When the course of their lives were being written by the Fates themselves, this was the outcome the designed. To go against that, well, it's an understatement to say that it is more than a little difficult."

I tried to find some solution, or some rationalization to get past this. "B-But you've defied the Fates before! When you absorbed your first wife, Metis, she was supposed to give you a son strong enough to overthrow you, but your circumvented that! Not to mention that talking to me repeatedly also break their decree."

Zeus smiled fatherly and kneeled down to eye level with me, putting on of his massive hands on my shoulder. "Yes, I did defy Fate before. But I have already seen the consequences many times over. The Fates likely had a hand in crafting the story of Nikandreos, who defeated me in single combat thousands of years ago, and scattered my essence, twice. They likely did this to punish me for my twisting of their story."

I still tried to find something to convince my father. "B-But, aren't you more powerful than the Fates? Can't you just destroy them if you want? Get rid of destiny entirely and do whatever you want?" If my father was truly number one, this shouldn't even be an issue.

Zeus sighed, before putting a hand on his forehead. "Yes. I could destroy them if I wanted to, and there isn't much the Fates could do to stop me. But that would just prove I haven't changed a bit from my past, wouldn't it? It would simply show I am nothing but a tyrannical child who is afraid of having my actions the slightest bit guided. No, to truly show that I have changed, I need to coexist, not conquer and destroy."

I lowered my head, any hope of getting both Percy and Calypso back fading from my head. "So there's nothing you can do? Percy has to stay dead and Calypso had to stay imprisoned?" I started to feel like a failure, as I had promised both Percy and Calypso I would fix things.

Zeus shook his head. "Well, I didn't exactly say that. I simply meant it isn't a simple request. Reversing the fate of either one is simple enough, and likely wouldn't draw the ire of the Fates, or at least they wouldn't be as vengeful as they would if both Perseus Jackson and Calypso had their fates altered."

My eyes widened in understanding. "So what you're saying is that you can only do one? Either revive Percy or free Calypso?"

My father nodded in affirmation. "Yes. The Fates will be angered, but they will likely do nothing if only one fate is altered. If both are, The Fates could potentially turn their favor towards Luke and the Titans, and we could be destroyed in the end." Zeus sighed again and stood back to his feet. "Now you understand why this is so complicated, Zane." Zeus looked down on me. "Now what do you choose? Revive Percy Jackson, or free Calypso?"

I didn't respond immediately, as I wasn't sure which to choose. Percy was my brother in everything but blood. He had sacrificed his life to save me, and even broke the chains of death itself to come help us in our darkest hour and save my life again. On the other hand, Calypso, for all intents and purposes, was basically my soulmate. He was everything I loved about Nico and Taylor rolled up into one beautiful package, and I couldn't bare to see him still imprisoned on his island.

But the more I thought about it, the more the choice became clear. We needed Percy. Not only did we need his immense power in the upcoming war, we needed his friendship. It was a special sort of kinship for someone to literally return to the world of the living while still being dead to help us, and we would need that level of loyalty and friendship in the future.

I looked back at my friend group, who were still conversing with each other. They all seemed tense, as if in anticipation of what my father's decision would be. I turned my head back to my father, a look of stone cold determination on my face. "I choose to revive Percy Jackson." I could free Calypso later, whenever my power surpassed both my father's and the Fates. Right now, both me and my friends needed Percy. Even if my heart shrivels up and aches at the thought of Calypso being imprisoned, I have to be strong.

Zeus nodded. "I'll make the arrangements, although things likely won't take effect for a day or so. Thanatos is a busy god after all." Zeus looked at the massive blade of Prometheus, the one I was still carrying. "Prometheus' weapon, I assume?" I nodded and my father held out his hand. "May I?" I nodded and handed the massive blade to my father. In Zeus' hands, the blade didn't look disproportionately huge.

My father stared down at the wide blade of the weapon as he held it in his hands. "The amount of runes and enchantments on this blade in astounding. Prometheus was truly one of the greatest minds in the universe." Zeus' eyes narrowed down at several spot on the blade. "Although, I see several anti lightning incantations on this weapon. Were you planning on using this as a weapon, my son?"

I hadn't even thought about that. I had just picked it up to kill Prometheus and hadn't let go even when I was fighting Luke, and even used to weapon against him. I shrugged. "I guess." A thought came into my mind, and my answer was about to have a lot more determination in it. "Actually, yes. Prometheus was not only one of the most powerful warriors I had ever fought, but he was also one of the most skilled. I thought one of the ways I could honor the great Titan Prometheus once was to use the weapon in battle. Not to mention it's very strong and has a lot of unique abilities."

My father smirked at my answer. "Excellent. I'll take this to Hephaestus and have him replace the anti-lightning enchantments and runes with ones that strengthen lightning instead." Zeus hoisted the large blade up on his shoulder. "Now, I must return to Olympus, my son. There are a lot of preparations that must be undertaken for the upcoming battles, and I must oversee them."

My father rose his hand into the air, the one holding the Master Bolt. Before he teleported away, he turned his gaze to me. "Zane, I must warn you. Because of how long Percy Jackson had been dead for, you are now physically older than he is, if only by a few days." I froze at Zeus' words. "That means the position of Child of The Prophecy falls to you, no matter if Percy is alive or not."

I hadn't even considered the possibility of what my father just said when making my decision earlier, and the implications of his words started to sink in. But I quickly tightened my hand into a fist and my face took on an expression of determination. "I understand, father." It didn't matter whether I was the new Child of The Prophecy or not. We had Percy back and I would free Calypso myself one day.

My father nodded solemnly. "Take care, my son." Lightning struck his form, briefly lightning up his frame, and he completely vanished. After my father was gone, I sighed and closed my eyes, the weight of his words truly weighing down on me. The entire fate of Olympus, and potentially the world weighed on my shoulders now, and I was going to have to try my hardest to not screw it all up.

I marched back to my friends, who had been anticipating my word for quite a few minutes now. All of them had an expression of dread and anxiety on their faces. I gave them all a smile, and then a thumbs up. "It's all good, guys. My father said he'll take care of everything and restore Percy to life." At my words my entire group immediately celebrated. Hands were thrust into the air, cries of happiness and joy could be heard.

Percy immediately brought me into a bear hug, one that I returned the instant he touched me. "T-Thank you, Zane! Thank you so much." I chuckled as I patted the currently undead son of Poseidon on the back. I let the stress of my decision fade from my conscious and simply decided to enjoy the moment. "I-I'll make this up to you, I promise!"

I shook my head with a chuckle. "There's no need for any of that shit, Percy. I know you would have done the same for me." Well, if it had been Annabeth who had been trapped permanently on an island, I honestly wouldn't be so sure. My eyes trailed to Nico and Taylor, my boyfriends. I broke the hug with Percy, looking at everyone around me. "Well, everybody, we have a camp to clean up and battles to prepare for. Go ahead and get to that, please. I…need to talk to Taylor and Nico. Alone."

Everyone immediately looked at me in a mix of understanding and confusion, but no one questioned me. My group split up into different mixes, with Grover in his new divine form going off with Tyson, Percy going towards the center of camp with Annabeth, and Arthur striding towards the battlefield. All that was left standing here was me, Nico and Taylor.

I sighed, looking at the expectant and almost dreading looks on Nico and Taylor's face. The redhaired son of Ares was the first to speak. "What is this about, Zane? I know you and Nico told me you had to talk to us after the battle, but you didn't give any specifics. What's going on?" Taylor's beautiful face was concerned.

I sighed again, knowing my boyfriend would be inquisitive. "Okay, I'll go ahead and get right into the reason." I held up a hand. "And before I begin, don't interrupt me until I'm finished, okay? Let me get everything out." Both Taylor and Nico nodded, looking more concerned than before.

I took and deep breath, trying to summon the same kind of courage and determination I normally do when fighting powerful beings and threats. Eventually, I begun. "Alright. It all started whenever Me and Percy had fought Prometheus. Percy died and Prometheus had sent me so high into the sky and into the ocean I went into some interdimensional island space."

Both Taylor and Nico immediately looked confused, which caused me to chuckle. "Sorry, bad start. Basically, I ended up at Calypso's island. A place where Greek heroes are sent whenever…something happens to them, I don't know. That part was never exactly explained to me. Sorry, I'm getting off track."

I coughed a bit. "Anyway, I met the person of the island's namesake, Calypso. And me and them had…." I fell silent, having all the courage and bluster deflate from me in an instant. "..relations. I…I-I regret it more than anything in my entire life. It was a moment of weakness that was only brought about by Percy's death, nothing more."

I sighed, not even having the strength or will to even look them in the eyes. "Calypso is so much like the two of you that it's uncanny. And with everything that had happened, and with the nature of Calypso's curse….I…." I couldn't finished my sentence, not finding the words that could somehow soften the devastating punch my story had to be.

I looked up to see the expressions on both Nico and Taylor's face, dreading what I would see. The only thing etched on Nico's face was cold fury. Taylor's expression broke me quite a bit more, with tears building up in the corners of his eyes and both of his hands covering his mouth. Seeing both of their faces caused me to falter even more, but I tried to say something. "I-I understand if you need some time away to think about things. If you need some space to-"

Faster than a bolt of lightning, Nico appeared right in front of my face, his fist aimed directly towards my cheek. He moved in almost slow motion in my point of view, but I felt my eyes water at his action. I closed my eyes and let his fist slam into my cheek. Nico's powerful strike didn't even make me move a millimeter, but it hurt more than I could possibly describe.

The lack of effect of his punch seemed to only make Nico even more irritated. "Space? Space!?" Nico drew back his fist and slammed his other one into my armored torso, causing him to shake his hand with a hiss of pain. "You can take your fucking space and go fucking die, you piece of fucking shit!" Sheer rage and anger entered Nico's tone, as he unleashed a barrage of furious strikes against my form.

None of Nico's attacks made me move a muscle, and I tried to contain the water from behind my eyes from falling down my cheeks. "Do you think you can just go fucking cheat on me and think everything can just be alright with some fucking time to think about things!?" Nico's knuckles started to bleed from punching me, although he eventually stopped.

Nico held his bleeding hands to his sides, huffing and panting. He then looked up at me with pure hatred. "I hope the next time you fight Luke, he kills you and my father sends you to the deepest pits of Tartarus. Goodbye, you sack of shit." Nico flipped me off and immediately shadow travelled away, his aura and energy disappearing from my sight.

The silence that was left behind by the son of Hades was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I looked at Taylor, a sad smirk on my face. "Well, I don't suppose you're going to curse and scream at me while trying to kill me, too?" The sarcastic question was only made so I could distract myself from completely losing it right then and there.

Taylor, who hadn't said a word after I had finished my confession walked up closer to me, taking one of my hands. "Z-Zane. Please, tell me this isn't true. Please tell me this is just some cliché way you thought of to distance yourself from us because your idiotic self thinks it would be safer for us to not be with you." Taylor's tone was pleading and nearly frantic, which nearly broke me.

I couldn't even find my voice for a few seconds, as I opened my mouth and no words came out. Eventually, they did. "I-I….It's true, Taylor. I'm so sorry." Taylor almost immediately burst into tears at my words, and I felt tear start to streak down my cheeks as well. "T-Taylor, I'm so sorry!" I tried to tighten my grasp on his hand, but Taylor immediately separated himself from me.

Taylor was shivering, and he wouldn't look me in the eye. "I-I need some time to think about things, Zane. L-Leave me alone, please." Taylor's tone was one of pure heartbreak, something which only tore my heart into even more pieces.

I let out a high pitched grunt at Taylor's word, and my hand fell to my side pathetically. "Taylor. Please, don't do this." My tone became almost frantic. Taylor didn't even look in my direction, simply standing and staring off to the side. "Taylor. Taylor, please. Taylor! LOOK AT ME!" Taylor nearly jumped out of his skin at me raising my voice, and he stared at me with an expression of fear.

I immediately felt guilt and lowered my tone. "Taylor, please, I don't think I could do this without you. Due to Percy being dead for over a month, I'm technically the one the Prophecy speaks of now. The entire weight of the fate of the world rests on my shoulders and I don't think I could do this without you at my side." I looked down at the ground and my hand tightened into a fist. "I-I gave up Calypso for both you and Nico."

Taylor looked at me, confused. "Yes. I gave them up. I could have stayed on that island for eternity, lived out an immortal life in peace with them. But I gave that up for all of my friends and the people I love, that being you and Nico. Hell, I could have even had Calypso freed by my father, but I gave that up as well, as to have Percy revived, since my father could only do one."

I looked at Taylor right in the eyes, desperation no doubt all over my face. "Taylor, I'm fucking begging you. Don't leave me. I gave up all of that for you and the rest of camp. If I didn't, you would all be dead. Please, give me a chance. I know what I did was completely wrong, but I can make it up to you. Please, a chance. That's all I ask."

Taylor was silent, not immediately answering my question. "I-I…." Taylor looked like he was struggling with himself internally, trying to come to the right decision and having almost no success. Eventually, Taylor spoke. "Zane….I'm not saying that this is it. That we're done. But I don't really know what to think right now."

Taylor wiped tears away from eyes and continued. "You cheated on both me and Nico. No matter the circumstances and why it happened, you still did it." Taylor sighed. "But what you just said, how you gave all that up for me and everyone else shows me that you're truly sorry." Taylor sniffed and looked at me. "Like I said, I…just need some time to think, okay? This is all complicated and weird and I don't know how to feel, okay?"

Taylor walked up to me and pulled me into a tight hug, one so tight it's as if it was the last one he was going to give me. "I just want you to know I've valued everything we've done in our time together and I love you, you stupid air head." Taylor pecked me on the cheek and broke the hug. "I'll…tell you whenever I'm ready to talk again. I just need some distance for now."

Taylor walked away, not looking back once. Once Taylor was out of eyesight, I collapsed to my knees and a waterfall of tears erupted from my eyes. I knelt down on the burning, battered and damaged ground of the field of the battle that was just recently fought, balling my eyes out.

However, I tightened my hand into a fist and slammed it into the ground. My punch created a several foot wide and deep crater in the ground, adding to the countless number of them that had already littered the field of battle. I wiped my tears away with a quick movement, feeling a burst of determination and grit fill me like never before.

I quickly got to my feet, trying to hide any signs of crying or weakness I had just been showing. I was now the one the Prophecy spoke of, the one who would decide the fate of Olympus itself. I had to embrace my father's nature and become a leader for the camp if we were going to survive this war and defeat Luke and the Titans.

I started marching towards the camp, both of my hands gripped into a fist, trying to ignore the thoughts of both Nico and Taylor in my mind. I had a lot of work to do, and I would need a clear head for what was to come.

And boo-yah. Last chapter of the Battle of The Labyrinth is finished. So, this one took fucking forever. I'm so sorry about that, I had changed jobs and I'm now working 12 hours a day, which drains me of any energy I have to write for several days, lol. Not to mention some personal stuff that happened in my (now definite lack of) love life, this chapter was definitely pushed back quite a bit. But now I'm back, and I'm ready to write at a speed at least somewhat close to my original.

Also, epic announcement once again. I am happy to announce that both me and Echoxenvy are doing a second crossover of Zane Williams And The Gods of Olympus and The Son of Hercules. This one will be bigger, better and even more action packed than before. Name is still pending for this one lol, we'll have it before the chapter comes out lol.

Anyway, hope y'all enjoyed, and I'm ready for what's next. See y'all later.
