CH.2 A NEW DAY
As Pyrrha walked up to samiel, he truned his head to look at her.
"see something you like or have you come to check on me."
"I was up getting a drink and heard you up here that is all."
"ok well I am heading back to my room have a nice night."
"hey samiel can I ask you something."
"sure go ahead."
"who do you talk to."
"her name was Lilith we grew up together and feel in love but was killed by bandits in a surprise attack at night." he said coldly
"I am sorry to hear that."
"don't be she is in a better place. anyways I am going to sleep have a good night." samiel said as he walked to his room.
"wow that's the first time he has talked to anyone else about Lilith." mikhaela said
"shoot you scared me." Pyrrha said
"sorry I woke up and didn't see my pillow so I went looking for him and heard you two slightly talking so I waited till he left."
"hey can I ask you something as well."
"sure."
"what's the rest of your family like."
"honestly they are like me and samiel and Rafael. Reagan is on his own wave."
"so do you all get along."
"not all the time we fight and bicker but that's siblings."
"well I am going to get a drink and go back to bed thank you for this talk." Pyrrha said as she walked off
in the morning samiel awoke to pounding on his door.
"big brother you left us." Rafael said while pouting
"ugh if you didn't want to go you should have told us." Reagan said
"guys it's 4 in the morning go get ready or something I am going back to bed." samiel said while closing the door
"does Samiel always sleep in." Pyrrha asked
"when he can but most of the time he is awake before us." mikhaela said as she opened his door and closed it behind her.
"well they are going to argue for a bit." Rafael said
"how much you want to bet they start fighting." Reagan said
samiel walked out of the room fully dressed in his normal clothes.
"wait how did you do that big sis."
"I forgot I told Jaune I would train him."
Jaune head shot up when he heard Samiel.
"wait you were serious about that." he asked in disbelief.
"yes now get your combat gear on and meet me on the roof in half an hour." samiel said as he grabbed his swords and walked to the roof.
about a half hour later Jaune made his way to the roof only to see Samiel.
"put you weapons to the side you are using one of my swords so you can stand a chance."
Jaune unhooked his sword from his belt and leaned it against the wall. Samiel handed one of his swords to Jaune, and Jaune nearly collapsed from the weight of the sword.
"how much do these weigh."
"about 100 pounds or so."
"how can you swing these things so fast like you do and why do they way so much."
"first aura second they are made of dragon bone."
"ok how do I use the sword." Jaune asked as Pyrrha walked up to them
"you have to Chanel your aura to your arms, just close your eyes and clear your head focus, your aura is going to feel like a rushing river divert some to your arms focus on that and when you feel like the sword is not as heavy open your eyes." Pyrrha said
as Jaune focused on his aura he felt it moving to his arms when he thought he had enough he opened his eyes and held the sword up.
"wow it seems light now." Jaune said
"of course your aura is helping you to carry the blade." samiel said "ok now follow my movement and if I go to fast let me know."
"right let's began." Jaune said getting in a similar stance to samiel.
They went through basic foot work and how to use a sword.
Jaune was slow to learn often got distracted or just couldn't stay focused.
after a long while of sword training Pyrrha had Jaune work with his sword and shield.
after their training of Jaune was done, Pyrrha and Jaune went to the J.N.P.R dorm room and samiel went to his room each getting ready for the school day to begin.
As it reach 8:00 in the morning everyone walked into their first class.
"Good morning students my name is professor port, and I will teach you everything you need to know about the grim you will eventually hunt."
the class went on with most of the students either falling asleep or not paying attention because as they found out all he did was talk about his "adventures".
the next class was combat class to which reagan and samiel both were excited to be apart of.
"good morning students this is the combat class you will be trained and spar with other students from different years and hopefully you all will become the best huntsman you can."
"will samiel and Reagan come down."
Samiel and Reagan walked down with Reagan smiling like a mad man and samiel had a smirk on his face.
"now this should be fun." Rafael said
"yes it should." mikhaela said
when the two reach the middle goodwitch began to speak.
"the rules are simple if your aura hits the red the fights over, if the time runs out the fight ends, and if you are knocked out of the arena the fight ends. now will you to go to the locker..." goodwitch was interupted by to bright lights forming
samiel's aura flared as it encompassed him with Reagan being consumed by bright red flames.
when the aura and flames died down all that was left was samiel in full armor with a helmet that had two horns coming out of it's temple's.
Reagan was wearing his normal armor but his hair seemed to flow like it was fire in the wind.
"ok I will count down to 3 and the match will began."
the crowd was still in awe of the show of the two students. Jaune most of all as he saw that their power far surpassed anything he knew before.
as goodwitch finished her countdown samiel drew his two swords and held them together and they merged together forming a long sword and got in a high stance.
while Reagan got his axe and place it on his shoulders and activated his semblance he was once again consumed by flames and shot out at his brother.
samiel let out a demonic battle cry and activated his semblance forming two dragon wings and meeting his brothers attack.
when they clashed an explosion of fire and purple light bathed the room.
"ha still got it brother." Reagan said as he clashed with samiel.
samiel only let out a demonic growl and he uppercuted Reagan who flew into the air and then was followed by samiel who readied a downward slash.
"what is happening." yang asked
"this is what it's like when those two fight." Rafael said
"honestly after this they will most likely try to figure out who won in the end."
"why did no one tell me Samiel's swords can do that." ruby pouted
"you didn't ask." mikhaela said
in the arena Reagan fell back to the ground after receiving four slashes.
"you are still to slow brother." Samiel's demonic voice said
"and you are too overconfident." Reagan said as he shot a torrent of flames at samiel who took them head on.
samiel proceed to walk to Reagan and grabed him by the throat and slash him. Reagan brought his axe on his brothers head with a loud clang sound coming from the hit.
samiel stumbled back a bit dropping Reagan who rushed forward swinging his axe horizontally to Samiel's midsection only to be met with Samiel's hand.
samiel then enhance his sword with aura cutting through his brothers aura and cutting his face.
which caused everyone to gasp.
Reagan then brought his axe down on his brother's head three times each hitting making a defining sound with each hit.
blood came from the face mask of the helmet.
samiel then grabbed his brothers axe as it came down for a fourth hit. pulling his sword back still enhanced with aura stabbing it in his shoulder. then samiel let go of the axe and enhance his fist and punched Reagan in the face which broke his nose.
the aura readings were about the same both in the lower orange.
"they are going to kill eachother." Weiss said
"this happens all the time they are fine trust us." mikhaela said
"Reagan will be fine and samiel is big brother nothing can kill them." Rafael said
the brothers clashed against eachother causing a shock wave to burst from them.
Reagan was smiling like a feral animal and samiel was growling like one.
the clash ended with a trade of blows with a slash to Reagan's midsection blood was coming out of it. and samiel with his arm being hit by Reagan's axe which blood started to pour.
the lights came back on with the aura readings both in the red.
"well brother it seems we are even for now." samiel said as his aura flared again now in his casual clothes except his hoodie. his nose and mouth had a small trickle of blood coming from them.
"it seems we are." Reagan said as fire engulfed him and when it died down his shirt was off blood coming from his shoulder and stumic and face.
"you two are to report to the infermary immediately." goodwitch demanded.
when she said that the wounds as fast as they came healed just as fast.
"we are fine." Reagan huffed.
"honestly nothing to worry about." samiel said with a smile.
"still you are to go now." goodwitch said.
the two brothers walked side by side to the infermary.
"what just happened." Ren asked
"like we said those two will be fine." mikhaela said
"nothing can harm big brother."
"wow how did samiel cut through aura." Jaune asked
"it's our semblances we can enhance our selves or our weapons to cut through aura." mikhaela said
"that's a little dangerous don't you think." Pyrrha said
"eh honestly we don't use it that often."
"I am scared to fight them." Weiss said
"hmm oh don't worry with you lot we will limit how far we will go." mikhaela said
"why not do that with yourselves." yang asked
"because we can take it." Rafael said as she saw her brothers return.
"like we said we are fine." samiel said as he handed a note to goodwitch.
they proceeded to walk to their seats and sit down.
"big brother that was awesome." Rafael said
"you mean reckless." Weiss said
"no I mean awesome."
"you two should not go all out like that." Blake said
"can I fight you next." Nora said to Samiel.
"no." Ren said
"look that's how me and Reagan spar with eachother." samiel said
"dearest brother I think they are trying to show their concern for you two." mikhaela said
"dually noted." samiel said
Reagan only snorted in response. " I will beat you one day."
"you may try."
everyone just facepalm at the two brothers.
