There were seven people in stasis on an alien ship. "I have message for all Autobots and the humans who were living on Cybertron with us since after the arrival of their stowaway ancestors. Though Cybertron has fallen we still stand, come to these coordinates and join us, Priority Prime," Optimus said.
The ship landed. The humans walked out. "Look at this place," one of them said.
"It seems like some place we should know, what planet is this?" asked another.
"Earth," Optimus said. "I am Optimus Prime, you must be some humans who are descendants of the groups of humans who stowed away on ships to Cybertron from earth all those years ago," he said.
"Yes rescue sigma 24 reporting for duty," a male said.
His wife came up and he kissed her.
"I didn't know rescue teams still existed, I thought they all disappeared many years ago," Optimus said.
"Wait what you mean they disappeared?" asked another. "How long were we in stasis we better check in with Cybertron HQ," he said.
"That is not necessary or possible, Cybertron isn't our home any more this planet is," Optimus said.
A bit later.
"Heatwave, Hightemp, Boulder, Blades, Chase and Ambula," Optimus said. "After much consideration I have your assignment," he said.
"Great when do we roll out?" Heatwave asked.
"You do not, because you are a rescue team and are human you are accustomed to help the people of this planet, you will live with a human family, learn the ways of the people who are from your ancestors original home, learn the customs of your ancestors, obey their rules," Optimus said.
"You mean we will get work with humans from the planet who live on our ancestors original home?" Boulder asked.
"Yes so you will need human clothing from earth your rescue armor will not be revealed as alien tech but merely advanced earth tech and you must not reveal about what happened and how your ancestors and Cybertron and how you came to earth," Optimus said.
"What?" Heatwave asked.
"While humans are accustomed to advanced technology, and accepting those who maybe a little different. The fact that there are alien beings, and humans who lived on another planet will surely cause panic." Optimus said.
"So we can help our own kind as long as we don't reveal anything about Cybertron or their tech we have on us," Heatwave said.
"Heatwave you have a right to question what is right for you team, that is why I am asking you to lead this mission," Optimus said.
"Understood," Heatwave said.
They got to pick some earth human clothes and they got dressed. "These are the Maxstons, Levi and his brothers and sisters and his wife, they know our secret and will help you keep yours," Optimus said.
"It's an honor and a privilege," Levi said.
"Nice to meet you," Heatwave said.
They made it to a town in the Dallas area called Leoville and there were lots of people there and many kinds of tech. Many people came to greet. Optimus told them some of them were also humans from the Cybertronian colonies as did the Maxstons. The ones who were from the colonies didn't say where they came from when they got there.
So this was all very new.
Heatwave and Hightemp saw children and they remembered they had tried for three years for baby and worried if they were every going to get their wish. Levi and Libby Maxston were finally expecting their first baby which was due in September. Libby was three months pregnant.
Hightemp wasn't like herself for the past month since coming so she took a test. It was positive she showed it to Heatwave who was very happy. They kissed each other and they were so happy.
It was wonderful to say the least.
Then after a couple of weeks Hightemp was in for her first prenatal check up. "Your first baby?" the tech asked.
"Yes," Hightemp said.
"Well let's take a look at the baby," she said.
The machine was turned on and gel was put on Hightemp's middle and the little heartbeat was heard. "There is your baby right there," the tech said.
Time had passed and things were going well. Levi and Libby found out they were having a girl. Soon Heatwave and Hightemp found out their baby was a boy. When early September rolled around Levi and Libby's daughter was born they named her Hannah.
Then September gave way to October and soon October became November. It was on November 14th that Heatwave and Hightemp's son was born. They named him Hot shot. He was so cute. They loved him very much. But the doctors noticed there was a problem pretty quick.
The doctor was listening to Hot shot's heart. "I don't like the sound of that, there is a murmur." the doctor said and did some tests and found out that Hot shot had two holes in heart a couple of sticky valves in the heart.
"We can fix the valves but maybe the holes can close on their own," the doctor said. "we will keep an eye on things for now right now we need to do surgery," he said.
Heatwave and Hightemp were nervous. Hot shot was soon out of surgery and doing a bit better.
A Three years passed and Hannah and Hot shot were playful. But Hot shot was feeling weak and out of energy. His parents took him to his cardiologist who said the holes haven't closed and another valve has become damaged so Hot shot needs more surgery.
So Hot shot had to go to the hospital again with his parents and he got something for Christmas that year a stuffed Rhino. He was in the hospital waiting for surgery.
He was a bit worried he remembers his parents told him he had surgery done on his heart as a baby. Now he needs it again so he was a bit nervous. He knew his heart problems made his parents worry.
Now it was time to wait for surgery the next day.
