Chapter 9: Full Effect

As the rangers are upset with Zelbolico taking Andros, Caleb and Scott from the megaship, they don't know what to do anymore.

Russell: "What are we supposed to do now? They already took 8 of us we can't afford to lose anymore rangers".

TJ: "You're right Russ and we don't even know where their lair is, I don't know if Andros was able to locate it before being taken, I have to go to the megaship and check it out".

Tommy: 'TJ wait, Zelbolico discovered the location of the megaship so there's a chance he will come back".

Jason: "But Tommy, we have to try, I don't know what he has planned, we have to save them".

Tommy: "You're right Jase, ok TJ you can go and finish off locating Zelbolico, but I don't want you to go alone, Nick, Connor, Mack, Shane and Hunter, I want you to go with him and be on your guard in case anything happens again". They all nod. Shane: "Come on, let's go".

Back in the lair, Zelbolico is seen talking with Commander Barash and Queen Bansheera. "Queen Bansheera, your plan is going accordingly as expected". Bansheera: "Yes and as soon as we start draining their power the other rangers will have no choice, but to give up and surrender to us". The 3 of them are laughing. In another room the taken rangers; Eric, Morphin, Tyler, Sir Tristan, Jonathan, Caleb, Scott and Andros are chained up on a wall and feeling powerless and not knowing how to escape. Scott: "We have to find some way to escape". Tyler: "We will". Caleb gives a slight smile. Eric: "Why you smiling pirate boy?" Caleb: "I was able to keep the location on; on my morpher before they took it, so the other rangers will be able to find us in no time". Eric nods.

Back in the outskirts of the city a few miles away from the base; Wes, Ace, Marvin and Sky arrive back to 2024, landing safely. Marvin: "So this is the year 2024, seems peaceful". Sky: "Not too different, but yeah". Ace: "Wes, I want you and Marvin to go back to the base. Me and Sky will go find Silas and Vincent, before any trouble happens". They all nod.

Ace: "Sky do you have a location on them through their morphers?"

Sky: "I do, I have this SPD tracker that can track the rangers".

Ace: "Ok, good".

Sky: "They seem to be somewhere in the middle of the city, let's go".

As they are walking to find Silas and Vincent, Sky and Ace are talking on the way. Ace: "Do you miss your team Sky?" Sky: "I actually do, ever since I moved up to commander the rangers wanted more in life since we weren't rangers anymore, Syd, Z and Bridge left and went their own ways. What about your team?". Ace: "Same Situation, after our battles we stayed as a team for a few months and then everyone went off to do their own thing, except for Sir Tristan who wanted to tag along with me, I didn't stop him so ever since me and him have been traveling together exploring different worlds and galaxies, but I'm hoping after this we can go our separate ways. There is something I have to do on my own, do some digging around". Sky: "Hmm, nods".

Sky: "Look there they are". Ace: "But why are they fighting each other? come on let's go stop them". Just as Sky and Ace are about to stop a fight between Silas and Vincent, Tyrannodrones, batlings and Kudaks appear in front of Sky and Ace. Sky: "Trouble". Ace: "You go stop Silas and Vincent; I'll take care of these guys". Sky nods. "Lion Astro Sphere!" "Astro Change!" As Ace morphed, he starts running and attacking.

Back in the Megaship TJ is on the controls trying to locate the rangers that Zelbolico has taken while Nick, Mack, Connor, Shane and Hunter are in different parts of the megaship in case Zelbolico comes back. TJ: "At least one of them should have had their location on". He starts long distance scanning with the rangers morphers one by one, but nothing comes up until he starts scanning for Caleb's morpher and immediately a location pops up. TJ sighs with relief contacting the rest of the rangers "Guys, I found the location; the lair looks like it's on a mountaintop". Carter: "On a mountaintop? looks like they revived the Skull Cavern".

Troy: "What's the skull cavern?"

Carter: "It used to be Queen Bansheera's lair, it was destroyed years ago and now looks like they rebuilt it, it won't be easy getting in and saving the other rangers, we need a plan".

Brody: "I may have something already; I need to make a call".

Jason: "TJ, does the megaship have a stealth mode".

TJ: "It does".

Carter: "That's the only way we'll be able to go in; undetected".

Wes and Marvin show up to the base. Wes: "Hey everyone, we're back, this is Marvin; red Hyperforce ranger from time force". Marvin: "Hey everyone, good to meet y'all". Wes: "Where's Eric?" Tommy: "I'm sorry Wes, Zelbolico took him along with 7 others". Wes is looking upset with what he just heard, but his look changes with a determined look "We'll get him and the others back". Tommy nods.

Aurico: "Where's Ace?"

Marvin: "He went off with Sky to find Silas and Vincent. They arrived here before we did and they went go to find them before Vincent can cause any trouble".

Zayto: "I hope they're doing alright".

Back in the city, Sky is trying to stop Vincent and Silas fighting while Ace is battling the Tyrannodrones, batlings and Kudaks. Sky: "Vincent, Silas stop". He gets in between in the two of them. "Vincent, I know you're confused right now, I know the only thing you've ever known is being a Thief, but everyone can make a change and a choice. You have to realize we are only just trying to help you we are your friends. Silas wouldn't be doing this and coming after you if he didn't care, we all care about you". Ace comes running in de-morphing after defeating the henchmen "Sky is right Vincent we all care for you man, we're your friends". Vincent drops down to his knees crying dropping his sword to the side. The rangers run over to him consoling him putting their hands on his shoulders. Silas "We're all here for you bro". Ace: "Come on, let's go to the base, Silas and Vincent there's some things you need to know".

As Ace, Sky, Silas and Vincent are talking while walking back to the base, they arrive in a few minutes. Ace: "Hey everyone, we're here". Jason: "Glad to see you guys". Ace: "Where's Sir Tristan?" Tommy: "I'm sorry Ace, but he was taken by Zelbolico along with a few other rangers". Chester: "Ace, don't worry we have come up with a plan to rescue them". Ace nods. Ace: "Oh hey this is Silas and Vincent thief brigade and justice patrol red rangers; they are in the same time as Sky". Leo: "Sky?" Sky: "Yeah, Jack retired years ago, then I became red ranger, but for the war he decided to return for one more battle so he was red ranger for that, then when we sacrificed our powers in the war, I became the new commander until now I decided to return as the red ranger again. Leo: "Speaking of which, here's your morpher" as Leo gives it to him. Sky: "How did you guys reinstate the power?" Jayden: "We didn't do anything, before Caleb and Andros got taken, Andros went to go get him for the mission, they said some mysterious red ranger appeared in front of them handing them our ranger keys and then when they got back the keys were able to transform to our morphers fully powered". Sky: "Hmm".

Tommy: "Well now that we're all here, it's time to get to work". Tommy informs everyone what the plan is going to be.

Casey: "It sounds risky, but I think it will work".

Devon: "It has to, there's no other way". Everyone nods.

Tommy: "All 26 of us will be divided in two teams; sky team and ground team. The sky team will be heading up to the skull cavern to save the others while the ground team will stay here to protect the city. Carter, Ace, Brody, Leo, Wes, Zayto, Shane, Silas, Connor, Casey, Russell and Jayden you're with me going to the skull cavern".

Jason: "TJ, Cole, Hunter, Sky, Nick, Mack, Troy, Devon, Marvin, Vincent, Chester and Aurico, you're with me on the ground protecting the city".

Tommy: "Let's do it!"
