With You, Anything is Possible
Disclaimer: I don't own Breakers. Only the respective company does. This is a Sho x Tia pairing story and it takes place after the events of Breakers (Revenge), since Tia was the tournament winner. Read & Review and please, no flames! Also, Happy Valentine's Day!
A year has gone by, since Tia Langray was deemed as the tournament winner held by the villainous Huang Bi-Hu. By defeating the dark martial artist, Tia managed to rescue her brother alive and transported him to a local hospital.
As for the remaining fighters such as Pielle, known as an Italian nobleman wielding a fencer's weapon, returns to his home country and enjoy his luxurious life.
Second is Saizo, he failed to seek vengeance against the man responsible for the slaughter of his clan and continues to live in the dark.
Next is Condor Heads, the Native American fighter continues to train his body and honing his skills, while presuming his usual hunting with his burning heart until the Holy Spirit calls him for the next impending danger.
For Shiek Maherl, the stocky Arabian fighter using a scimitar, fire projectiles and inflate himself like a balloon, feels his heart being filled with a sense of futility regarding the loss of his comrade and realizing that fighting hate with hate will only create more hatred.
Whereas Alsion III, the undead ancient Egyptian known for his rubber-like limbs, along with performing electric and poison attacks, returns to his homeland and was sealed back inside his tomb for 4,000 years; vowing to reconstruct his kingdom.
Then comes Rila, the wild-hearted protector of the wilderness and forests recognized for her speed and claws, also made her way back to the jungle by informing the head of the Amazonians that the crisis has been resolved by the female fighter named Tia.
And finally there was Sho as he goes on a journey for ascetic training in order to not only meet his own self and master the essence of martial arts, but preparing for his decisive battle with his rival and senior, Lee.
During Sho's concentration, something was disturbing him after his encounter and loss to Tia in the final round before one of them faced off against Bai-Hu. It was her mentioning that he bares a resemblance towards her brother and can't figure out why. "Why am I being distracted from what Tia had said to me?" That's when it hit him from the inside. He placed his hand to where his heart is and felt it. It was beating a few times. "How strange. I still don't understand as to why I'm feeling so unfocused." He takes a deep breath and resumed his training. "I mustn't get carried away. I really need to concentrate."
Suddenly, he hears the sounds of bushes rustling from a few feet away. His eyes flashed in vigour and believing that he's not alone, he can sense that someone might be spying on him. "Come on out and show yourself! It's no use hiding!"
Once the perpetrator unveiled himself, Sho gasped in shock to see that it was his rival, Lee.
"You knew that I was there? Not bad."
Sho narrowed his eyes. "Why are you here?"
Lee answered. "I was hoping, if you and I could spar for awhile since Tia won the tournament. It could remove the weight from our shoulders."
With a small smile, Sho stood himself up and locked in his fighting stance. "Whenever you're ready."
As they both bowed their heads in a symbol of respect, they start off with their sparring session.
The master of Karate bolts right into Lee's path by throwing an overhead punch and then, a dive kick. But much to his dismay, his rival managed to avoid them and tries to counterattack by using his big roundhouse kick until Sho also counters simply saying, 'Rekkoha!'.
With his quick wits, Lee was able to cancel it out with his Double Flaming Palm technique. "Good try."
"Then, how's this? Kureani Gansai Shuu!" Sho launches forward and hoping to hit Lee with his flame kick super move.
Luckily for his rival, he managed to duck and reversed it with his own. "Super Vacuum Drill Kick!" Right after he avoided Sho's flaming kick attack, he soars into the air by unleashing a flurry of uppercut kicks straight into Sho's body. But he wasn't even finished and utilizes his opening by using his own projectile. "Super Fat Dragonhead Fireball!" He shoots his blue-flamed Dragonhead Fireball with great accuracy and after it connected, the Karate master was soundly defeated. By wiping the brow from his forehead, he approached to his fallen opponent and extended his hand out to him.
At first glance, Sho wasn't interested. But after Lee countered his moves and being less focused, he firmly grasps his hand and was able to lift himself up.
Lee asked. "You were holding back, weren't you?"
Sho turns to his rival with his arms folded. "It was more than that. My mind is being clouded by a certain individual."
"Wait a minute. You're not talking about Bai-Hu?" thought Lee.
He shook his head in denial. "No, not him. It's about...Tia."
Lee blinked his eyes in confusion. He couldn't believe that Sho was distracted by Tia, the Kick-boxer from Thailand. With his eyebrow raised in curiosity, he questions him. "Why are you thinking about her? Is it because she defeated both you and me or is there something more?"
By taking a deep breath, he explained. "When she defeated me in combat, she said that I bare a resemblance to her brother. It's almost as if I..." He immediately cuts off himself and upon realizing his connection towards her, he starts shaking his head. "Argh! There's no way that's happening between us!"
"Calm down, Sho. I think, the answer is very obvious" told Lee.
"Meaning?"
By smiling back, he reveals to truth behind Sho's lack of concentration. "You actually like her. Don't you?"
"Huh?" As a result of his rival's explanation, Sho's face turned very red and steam came from out of his ears. "Are you out of your mind? Just because I have a passing similarity to her brother and me commending her skills and abilities, this doesn't mean that we're together!"
Upon staring at Sho's embarrassed reaction, Lee laughed a little. "Well, that's just the point. As long as she appears in your mind, you won't be able to achieve true strength and also defeating me. But, tell me, is it really true that you're fond of her?"
He scratched his head. "It's...It's hard to explain."
While Sho is struggling to cope with his newfound relationship with Tia, back on over in the abandoned temple in China, the lifeless body of Bai-Hu remained stiff as a board ever since Tia came out as the victor. Within the shadows, there stood a mysterious man glancing at Bai-Hu. By shaking its head slightly, he approached slowly towards Bai-Hu's body and once he stood closely, he placed his hand on its chest and with a loud roar, his eyes glowed dark red.
As a result of this unholy ritual, a mixture of blue, purple and green beam emanated from the temple and into the sky. It attracted many onlookers from the city streets but it only lasted for several minutes as it already begins to subside. The unknown figure took some deep breaths, stood up on his own two feet and as he stared at his hands, he begins to laugh very madly. Afterwards, it spoke. "At last! I'm finally reborn and I know just where to find my latest victim!" With an evil grin on its face, a small gleam appeared in his eyes.
Meanwhile, Sho resumes his training with his rival, Lee by meditating under the waterfall for nearly an hour. In order for Sho to improve himself and his Karate skills, he needs to cleanse his soul from the darkness and to not let the images of Tia bother him.
Just then, Saizo appeared on-top of the tree branch and was observing the two fighters from afar.
That's when Lee can sense a presence by opening his eyes and inform his rival.
"Wake up, Sho. We have a visitor."
"What? Here?"
As they both exited from the waterfall by leaping into the air and landing on the soft grassy area, the blue ninja sighed in disbelief after he was discovered.
He leapt from the tree and landed right in-front of the duo. "I'm not here to fight. I'm here to talk."
"State your business" says Sho.
By nodding its head, Saizo continued. "A great evil has been resurfaced."
Lee's eyes were widened in shock. "You don't mean..."
Saizo replied. "Yes. Bai-Hu has indeed returned."
Both Sho and Lee gasped in utter shock.
"However...". By glaring his eyes at them, Saizo pressed forward. "His power has greatly increased and he's twice as deadly than before. In fact..." He paused.
"Well, don't stop now. Keep going" told Sho.
"This martial artist was originally known as Dostov, the counterpart of Bai-Hu. When he came into contact with him, they were unified into one and is now fully resurrected by searching for new souls to feast upon its victims. Truth be told, he's responsible for the slaughter of my clan." He gripped his fist.
"I see. Since that you were unable to confront him and Tia winning the previous tournament, which could only mean...". He stops himself at mid-sentence and realized the horrifying discovery, while his forehead began to sweat bullets. "No way!"
"What's the matter, Lee?" thought Sho.
Once he gulped his throat down, he answered. "Knowing that Tia had beaten him in battle by rescuing her brother, he's looking to possess her soul just like what he did to him!"
"Say, what?!" Sho turns to Saizo. "We've got to find her, before he does!"
"Very well, then. Let us proceed!" informed Saizo to them.
Elsewhere, Tia is back in her home ever since she found her brother alive and well. He's currently recovering in a hospital after receiving a brutal beatdown from Bai-Hu a long while back. In-spite of successfully saving her brother, she continues to train her martial arts by utilizing her kicks and special attacks. But during her combat training, she puts her hand to where her heart is. It was beating rapidly like a stallion. She recalled her last encounter with Sho and believing that she might have developed an attraction towards him, a small hint of redness was formed on her cheeks.
"I feel like...that I'm drawn to him. Yet, I'm still glad that my brother is safe."
But just as she was about to resume her practice session, the clear blue sky had quickly turned dark and loud thunder roared across the country loudly.
When she looks up, she notices that there was no sign of any raindrops. "That's strange. How come it's not raining?"
Among her curiosity, it got even worse by hearing a sinister laugh. It sent shivers down her spine upon recognizing that familiar voice. "Oh, my god! It couldn't be him." Due to her misfortunate, it certainly did when a sudden black shadow appeared from behind her back with its dark red eyes glowing and a devilish smile on its face. As she turned around too soon, it grabs her by the throat and before she knew who the intruder is, her eyes were locked with an old foe and as she became helpless in fear, she screamed very loudly.
Not only it caught some onlookers on the city streets just like from earlier today, it caught the attention of Sho, Lee and Saizo during their travel into Thailand and trying to warn Tia.
"That was..."
"There's no doubt about it! She's in danger!"
"We must move quickly!" Saizo pointed at Tia's training facilities from a short distance away and as they nodded their heads, they all ventured forward and catch up to her.
By the time they've reached Tia's whereabouts, she was nowhere in sight.
"How very peculiar. This is where she and I last battled and defeated me; along with you and Saizo" told Sho to Lee.
"Don't remind me. As far as I'm looking to settle our differences, we need to find her. She couldn't have gone far."
That's when Saizo sensed a dark presence from within their area and as his eyes flashed with vigour, he gasped. "This energy!" He quickly notifies them. "Hey, you two! Get out of the way! He's here!"
"What?!" said Sho and Lee in unison and in the nick of time as they both saw an oncoming fireball and managed to dodge it by a few inches.
"That was too close."
"I agree."
"Not bad, if I do say so myself." A new voice had interjected.
As soon as the three warriors turned around slowly, they all felt very surprised to see a familiar enemy standing before them: Bai-Hu.
"It's been far too long, since our previous encounter."
"B-Bai-Hu!" gasped Sho.
Lee hissed, while Saizo growled in anger.
The former sponsor of the previous tournament retorted. "Yes, indeed and you remember your female companion?" Once he moved forward, he reveals Tia Langray kneeling before him and it made Sho and Lee gasp in horror.
"My dear. I order you to relinquish those men, immediately!"
With a flash from her dark red eyes, she stood up with a heavily dark voice. "Consider it done, master."
Saizo soon realizes as to why Tia isn't acting like herself. "There's no mistaken it. He has brainwashed her. Damn him!"
"I'm going to enjoy savouring all of your souls" told Bai-Hu.
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" yelled Sho.
Both Lee and Saizo nods their heads in agreement.
"You may be determined, but your arrogance will be your downfall." With a snap of his fingers, he orders his mind-controlled servant, Tia to attack Sho; while he deals with Lee and Saizo on his own as the ferocious battle soon commenced.
Despite the numbers advantage, Bai-Hu had no trouble dealing with Lee and Saizo altogether by not only dodging their combined kick and sword attacks, but also counterattacking with his own projectiles and later avoiding them by teleportation.
"He's not only twice as strong, but he's also twice as fast" informed Lee to Saizo.
"We'll have to find an opening. If not, he'll squash us like flies."
Bai-Hu starts taunting at them. "Then, come at me with everything you've got!"
Meanwhile, Sho is having difficulties trying to cope with Tia being under Bai-Hu's influence by dodging most of her well-known attacks such as her Rapid Gale projectile, the Rising Upper dragon punch, the Soul Spike forward flip kick and the Mirage Spear Kick. But he wasn't prepared for one of her Special Moves and that would be her Rapid Change technique as she connects Sho with a rising uppercut with multiple hits, followed by two-fist palm attack that sent him crashing down to the ground.
Sho was out for a brief moment until he stood himself up and saw her charging at him once more. Luckily, he was able to restrain her by holding her hands and tries calling out to her. "Tia, please listen to me! Bai-Hu is using you! Do you want to share the same fate like your brother? Seriously, get a hold of yourself!"
"Shut up, you punk!" says Tia as she hits him in the groin with her knee and successfully landed her Mirage Spear Kick onto Sho's face that sent him flying into the air.
Then, she was about to connect him with her Rising Upper until Sho quickly reversed by executing his one of own Super Moves by saying 'Chou Kuchuu Rekko Ha'. He shoots a big air fireball downward onto her and it made contact as she screamed in agony.
Yet, he wasn't finished as he performs another technique; 'Shippu Sho Ken Tsuki'. He unleashes a flurry of punches right onto her face and it left her visibly stunned. That's when he uses another Super Move and said, 'Kurenai Gansai Shuu'. By launching forward, he hits Tia with his multi-hitting flame kick and thus, ended it with an explosion. Afterwards, Tia was left unconscious from Sho's combined efforts. Feeling worried about her condition, he consoles next to her and tries waking her up by calling her name out. "Tia! Tia, wake up! Please respond!"
It didn't take long for her to reply back and as she murmured, she reopened her normal brown eyes upon staring at Sho's scarred face. "S-Sho." She notices some bruises on his clothes and body. "I'm so sorry."
"Never mind that. Are you alright?" he asked her.
She was about to answer his question until both she and Sho heard Lee and Saizo scream in pain. They whirled around to see them defeated by Bai-Hu and were both out like a light.
"What? Bai-Hu, alive?" cried Tia.
Sho countered. "No, even worse. He was revived by merging with his clone. We can talk later. Right now, let's take him down together."
"You bet!" she returns the favour by giving him the thumbs-up.
Lee tries once again to get back up after Saizo was knocked out and was about to lift his head before Bai-Hu slammed his foot on him.
"Is that all you got? Such a disappointment." He was so occupied taunting him that he was hit from behind by an oncoming projectile and as he quickly recuperates, he was very upset to see that Tia is no longer under his power. "What?" He grunted. "So, you're still holding out like a candle."
"That's right. It will take more than just controlling my mind to get what you want." She turns to Sho for a moment and turns back to him. "We're going to finish you off for good, this time!"
He glared his eyes menacingly at them. "We shall see about that."
By gripping her fist, Tia responded back by pointing at him. "You're also going to regret tormenting my brother and that includes hurting Sho!"
"T-Tia..." gasped Sho, while feeling very startled.
With an evil grin, he retorted. "I see what's going on. You like him, don't you?"
"Huh?" This caused her face to turn very red and feeling very shy. "W-Well, if you put it that way, then probably."
Not only did she blush, but so did Sho. "You can't be serious!"
Bai-Hu started laughing madly. "If you think that your newfound connection with that upstart is going to defeat me once more, you'll have to rethink your strategy."
Just as she was about to make another move, they witness Lee getting back up. In-spite of the pummeling that he received from Bai-Hu, he refuses to stay down. "Don't...count on it."
"L-Lee, can you still fight?" asked Sho to his rival.
Although bruised up, Lee slightly nodded. But he wasn't the only one that stood up and that was Saizo.
Regardless, Bai-Hu wasn't intimidated. "I might be outnumbered, but I'm never outclassed."
"Not so fast, cretin!" shouted a new voice from afar.
"Wait a minute. That voice! But, it's not possible!" thought Tia.
As everyone turned around to see who it was, it unveiled itself to be none other than Rila Estancia, the wild-hearted Amazonian from the deep jungles of Brazil.
"Eh? Rila? What brings you all the way out here?" asked Sho.
"I sensed a familiar presence from my home and came as fast as I could. So, what did I miss?" she wondered.
"Not much." answered Saizo. "Bai-Hu is more powerful by unifying with his counterpart and then, mesmerized Tia's mind. She was broken free by Sho's martial art techniques."
Rila cracked her knuckles and insisted of joining in. "Go figure. Mind if I tag along?"
Lee smiled. "By all means."
Displeased that most of the fighters from all over the globe has come together, he yells back at the group. "You're wasting my patience! I'll fight you all at once! Bring it on!"
The entire group consisting of Sho, Tia, Lee, Saizo and now Rila all pounce at Bai-Hu.
At first, it was the same routine from before but this time, he wasn't so fortunate.
First up was Sho by landing his 'Seiken Shouha' - punching rapidly and creating several powerful fireballs that strike Bai-Hu and it pushed him back. Second was Lee as he performs his Super Rush-down move by twirling around with his punches, throwing rapid kicks/punches on the ground and then kicking him into the air. While Bai-Hu was sent airborne, it was Rila's turn to perform her Shine Beast attack by turning into a glowing cat and zigzags right onto him. During Bai-Hu's descent, Saizo utilizes his Fire Super technique by summoning a wall of flames from the ground and burning the evil martial artist literally. And finally, it was Tia's turn by using her Burning Revolver move and it hits the villainous Bai-Hu multiple times.
As a result of the five fighters' combined Super Moves, Bai-Hu was finally defeated again. That is, until Saizo pulls out a sacred urn from his back and placed it on the pavement, just as the soul of Bai-Hu had exited from its host.
This opened the lid from the sacred urn and it pulls the evil soul directly inside. Struggle as it might, it was no match and it was sealed away forever as the lid placed on-top.
Saizo hoists the sacred urn with his hands and thus, completing his vengeance for the loss of his clan. "At long last, my clan has been avenged. He will never set foot on this Earth ever again."
"I'm really glad that it's finally over" informed Lee.
That's when Rila notifies everyone about something startling. "Hey, look!"
They all notice to see Bai-Hu's soulless body beginning to disintegrate, due to Saizo sealing its dark soul within the sacred urn. Right after that, it became nothing more than a pile of smouldering dust as its blown away by the wind. Everyone watched in awe to see Bai-Hu's last remnants drift away into the air and therefore, peace was finally restored.
Due to Bai-Hu's demise, the sky that was originally dark has returned back to clear blue with pure white clouds and the sun shining brightly down upon them.
While they bask in their glorious victory, Tia taps Sho on the shoulder. "Sho, can we talk?"
"S-Sure."
Once Lee and the other fighters move out of the way, they witness Sho and Tia having a moment together.
Tia spoke first. "S-Sho, you do know that you resemble like my brother and during my training, I kept thinking about you." Just like from earlier today, her face turned red again.
"Oh, really? Perhaps that's why I was so distracted and it cost my match against Lee."
With that, this caused Lee to roll his eyes in sheer annoyance, while Saizo shook his head. Whereas Rila, she laughed a little.
"Well, in-spite of that, you've certainly come a long way to improve yourself, Sho" says Tia.
"Thank you. But, I still have much to learn. However..." As he clasps his hands with hers, she became utterly surprised and as Lee and company observed the scenery, Sho pressed on. "I wouldn't mind having you at my side. If I was your brother, you wouldn't have much of a struggle."
Tia's cheeks instantly turned pure red upon gazing at Sho's handsome but scarred face, while feeling his hands. That's when soft tears appeared in her eyes. "S-Sho...".
"What's the matter, Tia?" thought Sho.
"I...I have a confession to make. Sho Kamui...I...I...I love you!" she cried and threw her arms around his neck in a warm embrace.
Not only was he shocked, so did Lee, Saizo and Rila reacting to Tia's startling words.
"Are you serious, Tia?" By releasing her hug, he noticed small tears streaming down on her cheeks and as he wiped them, she nodded her head in agreement. As his cheeks turned very red again, he smiled back at her. "I was hoping you would say that and I love you too."
After they laid out their confessions to one another, they gazed into each others' eyes and then, they pressed their lips in a very warm feeling. Once they released the kiss and glanced at each other, Tia replied.
"Sho?"
"Yes?"
With a bright smile on her pretty face once more, she said. "Happy Valentine's Day."
"You too, Tia."
Right after that, they embrace into each other's arms.
Upon seeing his rival revealing his feelings towards the young female Thailand kick-boxer, Lee commended him. "Well done, Sho."
During Sho and Tia's special moment together, Saizo held onto the sacred urn and teleported from Thailand back to his homeland in Japan. As for Rila, she fist bumps Lee in a symbol of respect and also returned to her Amazon jungle in Brazil.
Before departing back to Korea, Lee calls out to Sho. "Hey, Sho."
"What is it, Lee?" he asked.
"Next time we meet, we'll be on equal levels. See you" says Lee as he leaves Sho and Tia all by themselves.
Sho asked Tia regarding her sibling. "Tia, how is he?"
"You mean my brother? He's nearly recovered and he'll be out of the hospital in no time."
"I'm glad to hear it."
Afterwards, Tia nestled her head on Sho's shoulder and he held onto her.
Now that the threat known as Huang Bai-Hu will no longer harm the Earth, Sho and Tia's relationship begins to bloom in prosperity.
