So... here's a Lexington story from me I posted on Wattpad first. Had been sitting on my Google Docs shelf for a while because didn't know when to post since I had been enjoying my Brooklyn fanfiction quite a bit.
But he's my third favorite after Brooklyn and Thailog. Already have two Brooklyn and Thailog stories. Decided to try Lex out and see how well I write him as a main character. Enjoy, I hope.
...
Ahsoka was out on patrol, keeping her eyes out for any suspicious activity outside the Temple.
It had all been overwhelming for her ever since she became Anakin's Padawan. She did have some friends within the Temple and the Clones, but Ahsoka wished there was a friend who could really be there for her in times of need.
She gasped suddenly when she spotted a young human man staggering to the temple; a hand on his side. He was quite young with a fair amount of brown hair, face screwed up in pain.
Ahsoka ran over to help. His legs trembled, falling, but she caught him.
"Are you okay?" She asked, though by his wounds, he wasn't. The teen shook his head, eyes watering.
"H-help..." he mumbled, before falling unconscious. Ahsoka held up his head. "Master Yoda! Help!" She cried. Plo Koon ran out, his face looking anxious.
"What is it, Little Ahsoka?" He asked, staring down at this strange young man in shock. Where did he come from?
"He's hurt, Master. We have to help him!" Ahsoka said anxiously. Plo nodded, they couldn't turn anybody away.
"Get him to the Infirmary, Yoda will watch him when he wakes," he instructed. Ahsoka did so, she and Plo brought their new guest indoors, some of the other Jedi staring at the newcomer in concern.
In the Infirmary, they laid the young teen on a bed. Ahsoka gazed at him. She didn't know what, but something felt special. He was radiating with the Force, but there was something else different in him, and Ahsoka wanted to know what it is and who he really was.
...
He remained unconscious and healing for another week. Unfortunately for Ahsoka she had to go on another mission with her Master but Yoda said he'd be there when the teen woke, reassuring her worrying.
Yoda stayed near the bed, noticing the teen stirring, then opening his eyes.
Lexington felt rather sore and dizzy. He couldn't remember much, only that he had fallen several stories high from a building after a scuffle with the Quarrymen, unable to open his wings on time cause they had knocked him pretty hard.
He groaned, vision adjusting, when the gargoyle gave a gasp at the sight of the strangest creature he ever saw.
It was smaller than him, with green wrinkled skin, and big pointed ears. It was giving him a smile, while its eyes were wise and elderly.
"Afternoon, youngling. Unconscious you were for six days. Brought you to infirmary, Padawan Tano did."
Uh, what? Lex thought in confusion. This thing seemed to be talking backwards yet something was familiar. Where had he seen this creature before? It was possibly a movie.
"Er, not to sound confused, but, I dunno where the heck I am or where I came from (ugh) I don't think I'm even supposed to be here!" Lexington said in a panicked tone, a hand on his head. The creature smiled more.
"In the Jedi Temple on Coruscant you are. Memory shall return to you in time it would. But rest you must. Someone to meet you should. Padawan Tano returns tomorrow with Master Skywalker. But please, your name I wish to learn." The creature said.
This news struck Lex hard. He was really in... no way. But it is only a movie! Science fiction! Does that... that mean... oh! He also stared at his now human hand, weirded out by all of this and that he was human again, remembering their first squabble with Puck when he transformed him and the rest of his clan.
"L-Lexington. J-just call me Lexington," he stuttered awkwardly and nervously. "B-but what's y-your name?"
The creature smiled again. "Master Yoda, it is. Will check on recovery in a while. May the Force be with you, young Lexington." Yoda simply said, walking away.
"Wait! Why was I sent here?" Demanded Lexington. But Yoda didn't give a straight answer.
"The Force, reveal in time, it would. No more questions for now."
Lex collapsed onto his pillow, so many unanswered questions ringing. Why did he get turned into a human and sent to this weird Star Wars place? He did like the series with all the technology and space battles but to actually be here scared Lexington. He was far away from his clan, and he bet that not even the Jedi were powerful enough to send him home.
Maybe, something darker sent me. Perhaps the Sith are after me? Lex thought in a scared imagining. He tried remembering what happened in the future since this was before Luke Skywalker in the Clone Wars like Kenobi mentioned, but nothing.
Like Yoda said, it will all come back, I hope... In the meantime, Lex would have to try and find his place here in the Jedi Temple, though he couldn't wield the Force.
...
Time span: Second half of Clone Wars season 2 to Revenge of the Sith.
Author note: I kind of remember doing Lexington in my on hold Narnia crossover but this time it is focused on just Lexington with none of the other gargoyles yet.
Plus I'm getting a Brooklyn plush toy from Etsy soon! Hoping this week!
