One sentence description:
If you're curious as to whomst I'm picturing as each character, please refer to the 'cover pic' of their story. I'm shit at giving vivid physical descriptions -but I swear I'm trying to get better, I really am- so the cover photo being the OC in question (and maybe their pairing partner if I can figure out the finer points of graphic design just enough to slap a cover together) is what made most sense for me to do.
Ages & Backstory may have been toyed with here to make things fit and flow as cohesively as humanly possible. Sorry up front if this bothers anyone. I gave Lucky and Summer a college-age daughter, so sue me, lmaooo.

History
Ivy Grace Holloway Spencer was born in Pine Barrens, New Jersey to Summer Holloway, who was stopped in town due to going into premature labor. Summer was in the process of leaving Port Charles to escape dangerous enemies she'd managed to make who were coming after her to kill her because of things she'd seen and knew. Summer was also trying to leave Lucky behind because she realized that the love she felt for him wasn't lasting and that she only loved him because he'd managed to sort of 'fix her' and that was going to lead to toxicity down the line. Summer did put Lucky's name on the birth certificate just so if something happened to her down the line, Lucky could take care of their daughter Ivy. What she wasn't expecting was for Lucky to have to raise Ivy totally alone.
The enemies caught up to Summer just as she was leaving New Jersey with a 3 day old Ivy. Summer barely managed to have the time to hide a sleeping Ivy and call both 911 and Lucky on her behalf before these enemies burst into her hotel room and unalived her. 911 arrived on the scene and Ivy's shrill cries of hunger upon awakening were what prompted them to look in the closet. Ivy was found and taken to a hospital just to be sure she was alright and she hadn't been neglected. When Summer's body was identified, they found Ivy's birth certificate among Summer's possessions along with a detailed medical history in an envelope with a letter in it meant for Lucky. Lucky was notified and an hour later, Lucky arrived with his brother Nicholas in tow. Lucky officially identified Summer's body and tried to learn what local police had uncovered, but the local police were unhelpful, they told him it was a private matter. This is what would drive a young Lucky Spencer to go on to become involved in law enforcement. Lucky was taken to meet his daughter and from the word go, the bond was unbreakable. Lucky took Ivy home the next day and with the help of his family, he began to raise his daughter.
From an early age, it was obvious that Ivy was going to have a very strong personality. She loved to go everywhere her father did and as she grew up, she took on a very independent and self-sufficient personality type, which was good, because between Police academy and his job at PCPD upon finishing, sometimes Lucky just wasn't able to be around as much. They'd eat breakfast together every morning they could, Ivy would help her father get ready to go to work and then Ivy would wait for the bus with her aunts at their house or with her grandfather, Luke, if he happened to be around.
Ivy became close friends with Josslyn Jacks and Molly Lansing Davis when she was around 8 or so. The friendship with Molly Lansing Davis was a much deeper and closer bond than the friendship she had with Josslyn Jacks, so Ivy was around the Davis lake house a lot as a child/preteen. Ivy also became Molly's biggest protector and Molly became the same for her, not that Ivy needed protecting from anyone but herself. Spending time with her grandfather, Ivy learned a lot of 'less than savory' life skills, but Luke also taught the young girl more practical things, like how to unclog a sink, how to tell if someone has been in the house while she was gone and how to take cover in storms or tornadoes / how to escape a fire. Ivy was a bit of a mischief maker, so around the age of 11 or 12, she started to get into trouble at school now and then. Mostly for fighting / playing cards at recess. The fighting was mostly to protect weaker and more passive kids she knew because bullies were and still are something that Ivy absolutely hates. Lucky and Liz were married around this time, so Ivy was adjusting to have a maternal influence in her life and having siblings for once. She was beyond thrilled to learn that she'd be having a younger brother soon, too.
Ivy's close friendship with Molly continued into middle school and high school, when Rafe Kovich Jr arrived in town and befriended the two girls. Ivy developed a bit of a crush on Rafe, but when she realized how he felt about Molly, she refused to ever act on it and did her level best to avoid the guy unless she absolutely had to be around him. This led Rafe to think that Ivy disliked him when he couldn't have been further from the truth if he tried. Ivy temporarily grew distant with Molly when it appeared as if the two were going to date at some point and Ivy started to develop her own interests and other friendships. She reconnected with Josslyn Jacks and Josslyn's boyfriend Oscar. She got herself a job at Xtreme Autos as a sales clerk after school and eventually, when the owner discovered her skill with auto repair, she was trusted with smaller scale mechanic jobs. She joined an urban exploration group and a paranormal investigation group started by another girl at her school and more often than not, if she wasn't at school or with her little brothers or hanging out with Joss and Oscar, she was off exploring places that were dangerous and she had no business being in the first place.
Ivy and Lucky discussed Ivy getting a car for graduation and Ivy surprised her father by telling him a car would be great if she had her license to drive a car. Lucky asked for clarification and Ivy told him that over the summer, she'd studied and borrowed a motorcycle from a friend of Oscar's and she'd taken and passed her motorcycle license test. Lucky wasn't overly thrilled at the thought of his little girl on an open two wheeled death machine, but after watching her ride in front of the house he'd gotten in Queens Point for the two of them (and Aiden whenever he got weekend visitation) he felt a little better. Ivy and Lucky went motorcycle shopping and Ivy settled on a Honda Shadow Spirit 750. Turning up at school the next day was certainly an attention grabber, with her friends rushing over to look at her 'ride'. Little did Ivy realize that this may or may not have snagged Rafe's attention, just slightly. She took her usual seat in the back for the assembly they had on the first day of every year and she was doodling in a sketch book when Rafe wandered over.
By now, Ivy had pretty much buried her crush on the guy down. Molly also wandered over and Molly got her off to herself asking if she'd done something. Ivy explained that she hadn't, but that she (as in Ivy) had chosen not to intrude on Molly spending time with Rafe. Molly explained that they were just friends, even if Rafe seemed to have a hard time accepting it. The two girls hugged it out and reconnected after school over Kelly's diner chili and grilled cheese and Ivy excitedly showed Molly what she'd been up to since they'd drifted, with her paranormal group and her urban exploration buddies. Rafe wandered into the diner and sat down at their booth and Ivy kind of went quiet for a few seconds, before remembering she was trying to hide her feelings and continuing to show Molly all the photos she'd taken and stuff. Molly picked up on the little hint of tension on Ivy's end, towards Rafe and later, she confronted Ivy with what she suspected. When Ivy didn't confirm or deny, Molly who knew her well enough knew that this was definite clarification that she wasn't wrong. Rafe was going down a dark path around this time.
Ivy and Molly started to get closer all over again, weekends at each other's houses and the like, just like they used to do and gradually, Ivy got to a point where she was better at hiding things and started to extend invites to Rafe also. Molly met TJ around this time and the sparks were instant. Molly was the one to help Ivy deal with her father's admitted drug problem and encourage Ivy as Ivy tried to take care of her father as he'd always taken care of her. Ivy had originally intended to go to college farther away, but after discovering her father's addiction, she opted to apply to colleges closer to Port Charles. As a result of what she'd been through with Lucky, it was Ivy who picked up on the telltale signs of addiction when Rafe just couldn't hide them anymore later in the year. But it was too late and Rafe got involved in the hit and run as well as an accident that put him into a coma for about two weeks. During this time, Ivy sat with him when she wasn't working or babysitting her brother Aiden after school. It's also during this time that Ivy kind of tells Rafe how she really feels and has always felt, only she doesn't realize that it's when he's starting to wake up. Rafe wakes up just after Ivy's aunt Lulu has stopped by to give her a lift back to Lucky's place. What Ivy told him sticks with him and it's one of the reasons that Rafe chooses to leave town, go into rehab and take some time in California to clear his head and be a better person.
Ivy settles into life at PCU after graduation. She takes up kickboxing, she's promoted from sales clerk to mechanic at Xtreme Autos and Morgan, who owns the garage now and has seen potential in Ivy, has started to groom Ivy to take on a more hands on managerial role so that the garage doesn't have to close whenever he's got an appointment with his doctor for his diagnosed Bipolar or he's having an episode and needs a day or two to recoup. She's also gotten herself a gig as a dee jay on the campus radio station for two nights a week. If she's not doing any of the above, she's spending time with Aiden and her father, going for rides on her motorcycle (she upgraded from the Honda to a smaller Harley) or dee jaying private events and dances. More recently, she's gotten involved with a guy named Eric (for visuals, think Hero Fiennes as Hardin from the movie After, with all his bad tendencies) and the guy is always lurking and the two are constantly at each other's throats and break up every other day. Her friends hate the guy, her family hates the guy and most recently, Ivy's been distancing herself from Eric because she's realized that deep down, Eric's just a volatile, toxic mess who constantly tries to push her comfort levels or isolate her from the people she loves and she's not about to deal with that crap in her life.
