Author's Note: All of these characters belong to the wonderful Mr. Riordan.

For someone who could control liquids to an expert extent, Percy Jackson was not a man who could hold his liquor.

Percy had never really been one for drinking, He had seen the effects it had on Gabe and, subsequently, his mother, and had sworn it off for many years after, which most likely resulted in his low tolerance. Being a demigod in constant danger left him little time to be intoxicated too, with monsters lurking around every corner. But tonight was his bachelor party, and the boys had insisted on talking him out to one of the bars in New Rome while the girls and Annabeth frequented the other. It had been fun, but somewhere between the twelfth and thirteenth shot bet with Nico and Jason, Percy realized he could not remember the rest of the evening, much less which number shot he was on now.

"I'm just so lucky," he sobbed, lobbing an arm over Frank and Grover's shoulders, "To have everyone here for the big day."

Frank awkwardly patted his chest, "We love you too, man."

Grover rolled his eyes as he readjusted Percy's weight, "Oh no. This is his grateful mood. He always gets weepy like this. Soon he'll realize he's getting married to you-know-who and completely lose it."

"You-know-who?" Leo asked, confusion painted over his face, "You mean Annabeth?"

"Annabeth!" Percy yelled, sloppily burying his head into Grover's shoulder, "I miss Annabeth. I should marry her."

"You are, buddy," Jason reached around and helped Percy stand without assistance, "Tomorrow. So maybe we should get you home so time will go by faster."

Percy perked up at this, "We'll see Annabeth?"

"Yeah buddy," Nico confirmed, guiding him towards the door, "We'll see Annabeth real soon."

Percy followed happily after this confirmation and with a little steering from the boys, managed to walk himself out of the bar and across the sidewalk to begin their journey home. All was going well until a presence passed over the air as the boys approached a group of people.

"Anybody else feel that?" Jason asked, warily looking through the air, before reaching for his coin and beginning to adopt a fighting stance.

"Yeah," Leo stopped too, surveying the air around him, "Whatever it is feels powerful, almost like–"

"ANNABETH!" Percy shouted, and with a surprising sense of sobriety, began to sprint towards the lone figure merging from the group in front of them.

"Percy!" Nico shouted, reaching for his shirt to pull him back but missing by inches.

Frank squinted towards the group in front of them, "What's the chance that those are the girls?"

Grover grimaced, "None. It smells…like a god."

The boys shared a look before hurrying after him.

"ANNABETH!" Percy yelled again before embracing the back of a blonde girl in the group, "I missed you so much!"

The blonde turned around and smiled fondly down at Percy, "Hello, my hero."

The boys had finally caught up to them and Percy turned ot them with a grin, "Guys it's Annabeth!"

The boys quickly fell to their knees.

"My lady," Jason announced reverently, the first of the boys to catch his bearings at the sight of the goddess."

"Jason Grace," the goddess addressed him with a sense of familiarity, "How is my daughter?"

"She–she's well, my lady, " he stuttered, "She's with Annabeth at her bachelorette party."

"Wait a minute," Percy added warily, finally pulling away from the arm he had draped over the goddess and analyzing her face, "You're not Annabeth."

"Percy!" Frank hissed, pulling him down to his knees, "That's Venus."

Percy refused to kneel, instead examining the goddess' face even closer.

"Huh," he stated, evidently still stuck in the revelation that this was not in fact his fiance.

He turned back to Frank and pointed back toward Aphrodite, "She looks just like her. Doesn't she look just like her?"

"Uh, Percy," Leo answered, "She doesn't. Her appearance keeps changing but I'm pretty sure she has brown hair." Frank nodded eagerly beside him.

"What!" Percy turned quickly from them to Aphrodite, the goddess steadying him as he stumbled, "No she doesn't! She's blondddee." He dragged out the word. "And her eyes are gray and they sparkle just like Annabeth's and—" he threw his head back in defeat again, "I miss Annabeth!"

"Um, respectfully, was there something you needed my lady?" Nico, the only one in his right mind tried to steer the conversation away from Percy's Annabeth meltdown.

" Oh no," the goddess answered dismissively, now running a hand through Percy's hair as his shoulders drooped like a cartoon character in his sadness, "I just came to town early for the wedding tomorrow. So much love in the air at weddings! So much jealousy! So much fleeting romance!"

"But this," Aphrodite nodded her head toward Percy, "This is very promising, a good foundation for a strong marriage. These two will always have my blessing."

Percy still stared at the ground resolutely.

Aphrodite smiled like she was indulging a small child, "But maybe just this once, I'll allow these two to break tradition before the wedding. It's technically after midnight, but I think this one could use a visit from a certain someone."

With a snap of her fingers, there was a loud pop in the air. Aphrodite stepped aside, revealing the bachelorette party behind her who she had transported across the city.

"No!" Piper yelled, stomping her feet, "No! I was next in line for karaoke and the hot bartender was going to let me and Annabeth do body shots!"

"Body shots," Annabeth groaned from beside her, using her forearm to sloppily try to right the bride crown and sash that was falling off her, "You know who has a good body? Percy. We should do body shots off Percy."

Piper turned quickly, still and pointing an accusatory finger at Hazel, "Was this you, Hazel? Another magic mist malfunction!"

"It wasn't me, I swear!" Hazel exclaimed, letting out an unconvincing drunk hiccup at the end of the sentence.

"Have fun darlings!" Aphrodite shouted. Then she was gone with a poof.

"Mom?" Piper turned around bewilderedly, only to be faced with the boys.

"Percy?!" Annabeth exclaimed.

"Annabeth!" Percy yelled, letting out a whoop as he ran toward her and spun her around in a circle.

"Wait," he paused, setting Annabeth on her feet and examining her closely, his face a breath away from her's, "You are Annabeth right?"

Percy turned back to the boys, "This isn't Aphrodite again?"

"Nope!" Grover yelled confidently, "You're good!"

"Good," Percy sighed, then said to Annabeth, "You look too similar," before sweeping her into the most dramatic kiss the others had ever seen.

Hazel looked away pointedly. Leo stared on and wolf-whistled before Calypso approached and smacked him in the back of the head.

"Ow!" he exclaimed.

"You're staring and it's creepy," she whispered back.

"Guys!" Percy exclaimed to the boys once he had broken away from Annabeth. He pointed towards her excitedly, "It's Annabeth!"

"We see that Perce," Jason said, walking closer to Piper and pulling an arm around her shoulders, "Body shots off the bartender, really?" he asked her quizically.

"Don't worry," Pinched his cheek, "I'd much rather go home and do a body shot off of you."

"Ech!" Nico exclaimed, exaggerating his retching noise, "Can we go home now? I've got a doctor who just off a shift and I'd much rather see him than these too."

"I think these two can get home on their own," Grover agreed pointing towards Percy and Annabeth who were once again so wrapped up in each other it was hard to see where one started and the other ended.

"Yeah," Frank agreed, slinging an arm around Hazel, "Let's go home."

Hazel smiled up at him, "So Percy really thought Aphrodite looked like Annabeth?"

"You have no idea."

"So," Calypso started, "What did you guys think she looked like?"

The girls turned toward the boys interestedly, each of them turning bright red and desperately trying to figure out how to form a complete sentence.

"She–"

"Uh–"

"I think–"

"Her hair was definitely brown!" Leo shouted.
