Chapter 6: The smurfs came back

Author's Note: This chapter takes place before and during the post-credit scene of Smurf Park, so read that story so you can understand what's going on. Anyways, I'm throwing out the usual disclaimer.

Disclaimer: I do not own The Smurfs, they are owned by Peyo. I only Hector and Emily because they're my OCs. SmurfAggie appears courtesy of I. M. Rally. I also do not own the song and lyrics featured, some lyrics might be changed. Anyways, enjoy.

It's been 40 years since Hector and Emily met, and their relationship has gotten stronger by the second (mainly because they're now boyfriend and girlfriend). Vexy also found out about Hector a month ago, and also that Clumsy was alive, but she still kept quiet about it.

Emily was having dinner with her family, when Grouchy noticed Emily was daydreaming.

"Hey, kiddo, is everything okay?" asked Grouchy, causing Emily to stop daydreaming.

"Huh?! Oh yeah, everything's fine, just peachy. Why?" said Emily. Grouchy knew exactly what was going on.

"Okay, who's the boy?" asked Grouchy.

"What makes you say that?" asked Emily.

"That's the same face your dad made the day he met me," answered Vexy. She was pretending not to know about Hector. "So, who's the boy?"

"Okay, his name is Hector and he's from the Forbidden Forest. And I've been visiting him there for four decades. Please don't be mad," said Emily, hoping she wouldn't get grounded for lying to her dad.

"It's okay, sweetie, I'm not mad, which is kind of ironic," said Grouchy, pointing out the irony. "I'm a little disappointed that you went to the Forbidden Forest, but I'm proud that you told me the truth." He then faced Vexy. "And, honey, I have a feeling you already knew about this Hector."

"Oh yeah, I met him and his village a month ago," said Vexy. "And get this, every smurf in his village, aside from him, is a girl. I think his mother's name is SmurfStorm."

"Then who is his father?" asked Grouchy.

"Oh, his dad was Clumsy before he passed away. His mother had some of Clumsy's DNA, which she used to make Hector, once she was old enough to have a kid," Vexy lied. To her surprise, Grouchy didn't believe her. "Okay fine, Clumsy is still alive!" She quickly covered her mouth.

"Hang on, he's alive?!" said Grouchy, in shock.

"Yeah, but we promised we wouldn't tell anyone. And now we broke that promise," said Emily, facing down. Grouchy could tell this was important information he didn't need to know.

"Hey, hey, it's okay, kiddo. Tell you what, why don't we visit Hector and tell him you're sorry for breaking the promise," said Grouchy, trying to comfort his daughter. Thankfully, that seemed to cheer her up.

"Okay, dad," said Emily. Just then, Smurfette and Hefty (who are married and have a daughter named Cindy) entered the house.

"Hey, what's going on?" asked Smurfette.

"You won't believe this. Clumsy is alive!" said Grouchy, shocking Smurfette and Hefty.

"Really?! Where is he?" asked Hefty.

"He's in the Forbidden Forest. I should know, his son is my boyfriend," said Emily.

"Wait, you have a boyfriend?" asked Smurfette.

"Long story, I'll tell you on the way to the Forbidden Forest," said Emily, as she ran to the door… before she was stopped by Papa Smurf.

"What's all this talk about the Forbidden Forest?" asked Papa Smurf.

"Papa, it's a miracle. Clumsy is still alive, and he's living in the Forbidden Forest!" said Hefty.

"Wait, if Clumsy is still alive, then whose body did we bury?" asked Papa Smurf.

"Oh, that was a fake body. I still can't believe you fell for it," said Emily, causing everyone to look at her. "What?! I told Hector I wouldn't tell anyone, but then mom blabbed out the secret."

"It doesn't matter who blabbed out the secret, what matters is that we find Clumsy," said Smurfette. "We'll go to the Forbidden Forest, meet me near the wall tonight." She then faced Papa Smurf. "Don't worry, Papa. We'll make sure Clumsy is okay. You stay here and make sure the other smurfs don't panic, especially Panicky."

"I will," said Papa Smurf.

"The rest of us will be there tonight," said Emily.

Later that night…

Once it was nighttime, Emily and her parents quietly walked to the wall. Smurfette and Hefty then showed up, but then the bushes started to shake.

"Who's there?! Show yourself!" said Emily, getting into a fighting position. To everyone's surprise, it was Brainy, Gutsy, and the smurflings. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We overheard your little chat about Clumsy still being alive," said Gutsy, in his Scottish accent. "We just want to know if the lad is okay."

"Plus we also want to see the Forbidden Forest," said Snappy.

"Okay, but we're taking the secret tunnel," said Emily, as she moved a piece of wood, revealing a secret tunnel. "I use this to get inside the Forbidden Forest without getting hurt. Come on." She then led them through the tunnel, and they were on the beach in front of Smurfy Grove in less than 30 minutes.

"Doesn't this place feel… familiar?" asked Hefty, who felt like someone cast a do-over spell.

"Yeah, but it still looks new," said Smurfette. Suddenly, a fireball landed right in front of Smurfette. She looked up, and saw a blue dragon. "Look out!"

The dragon then trapped the smurfs in a cage, followed by smurf-size warriors surrounding them. The dragon got in front of the smurfs, and turned into one of the smurf-size warriors.

"Who are you? What do you want?" asked Hefty, as he and Gutsy protected the other smurfs.

"I don't mean any harm," said the warrior. He lifted his mask, revealing himself to be Hector. "I believe you weren't meant to come here."

"I'm sorry, Hector. I didn't mean for the secret to be revealed," said Emily.

"Don't worry, Emily. I only had you make that promise to see if you could be trusted," began Hector. "My dad said I shouldn't trust anyone in Smurf Village, but you proved him wrong. Because you are my diamond in the rough."

"Thanks babe," said Emily, as she hugged Hector.

"Hold on, you never told us Hector could turn into a dragon," said Sassette.

"I thought you guys wouldn't believe me," said Emily.

"Well, they better believe it," said SmurfStorm, as she took off her mask. "Hi, I'm SmurfStorm, Hector's mom."

"Hi, I'm Grouchy, Emily's father," said Grouchy, as he shook Stormy's hand. "Emily told us about Hector's father, and we were wondering if he was okay."

"I'm perfectly fine," said Clumsy, as he let the smurfs out of the cage. He now had a short black beard. "Long time no see."

"Clumsy, you're alive! And you have a beard," said Smurfette.

"I know, Stormy says it's like kissing a goat," said Clumsy.

"I've kissed a goat before when I was drunk, it wasn't that bad," said SmurfStorm.

Brainy was still in shock at what he was seeing."How?! We thought you died?! Whose body did we bury?!" asked Brainy, to which Hector just punched him.

"That was for putting my dad on trial, smurfhole!" said Hector.

"You'll have to forgive Hector, he tends to beat up people for the tiniest thing they do wrong," said Emily. "Word of advice, make sure you give him something other than money for his birthday. Oh, and he appreciates gifts if you stole them or bought them, either way works."

"Why would it matter if the gift was stolen?" asked Slouchy.

"Because, if you steal a gift for someone, it means you would risk getting a criminal record for them," answered Emily, causing everyone to look at her. "Before you ask, NO! I don't have a criminal record… anymore."

"Okay, I want whatever you're on because it looks like fun," said Nat, causing everyone to chuckle. "Hey, Emily, I thought you said this village was mostly girls."

As soon as Nat finished saying that, the other warriors lifted their masks, revealing that they are all girls.

"Wow, she wasn't kidding," said Sassette, in amazement.

"We have to take them to Smurfy Grove," said SmurfLily, as she walked the girls out of the cage.

"What do we do with the blue boys?" asked SmurfMelody.

"Just bring them along," said Clumsy.

"Alright, move," SmurfMelody told the boys.

"Dang, these lassies mean business," said Gutsy, as the everysmurf walked to Smurfy Grove.

"You got that right," said SmurfMelody.

The walk to Smurfy Grove was short, but they finally got there. Hector then used his fire breath to signal the smurfs of Smurfy Grove to open the gate, to which they did.

To say the smurfs of Smurf Village were impressed was an understatement, they were amazed at the sight of Smurfy Grove. The smurfs of Smurfy Grove were also amazed at the sight of more smurfs from Clumsy's village.

"Wow, I can see why you stayed here, Clumsy," said Smurfette.

"I know, right. This place is amazing, that's why I decided to move here," said Clumsy.

"And he's been happy ever since," said SmurfWillow, as she walked towards the smurfs of Smurf Village. "I am SmurfWillow, leader of Smurfy Grove."

"Hi, I'm Smurfette," began Smurfette. She then pointed to Hefty and Vexy. "That's my husband, Hefty, and my sister Vexy." They waved in response. "There's also Brainy, Gutsy, Grouchy, Snappy, Slouchy, Nat, and Sassette. And you already know Emily."

"Yes I have, she's been visiting for the past four decades," said SmurfWillow. "I'm impressed it only took her this long to tell you Clumsy was still alive."

"Okay, I get it! I broke a promise, just stop reminding me," said Emily. Hector then kissed her cheek, which seemed to cheer her up.

"By the way, how is Hector able to turn into a dragon?" asked Brainy, who wanted a logical answer.

"Well, Mr. Smarty pants, have you ever heard of the legendary Belgium Dragon? Because that's who Hector is," said SmurfAggie, as she flew down with her wings. "Hi, I'm SmurfAggie, pleased to meet you all."

"Hey," said Brainy. "Hold on, isn't the Belgium Dragon just a myth?"

"That's like saying a human with wings can't be a smurf, yet here I am," said SmurfAggie. "Oh yeah, long story short, I'm from another universe where magic doesn't exist. But I'll tell you more later."

"I guess that would explain why Hector has an iPhone," said Vexy.

"What's wrong with an iPhone? I'm just lucky I can even get a signal in the middle ages," said Hector. "But anyways, what brings you guys to Smurfy Grove?"

"Oh, we just wanted to see if Clumsy was okay. But, it looks like the lad's having fun here," said Gutsy.

"Let me guess, you also came here to try and convince me to move back to Smurf Village," said Clumsy.

"That depends if you wanna come home," said Hefty.

"No way. I'm too busy taking care of Hector. And trust me, having a kid with dragon powers surprisingly isn't as easy as I thought it would be," said Clumsy.

"But Papa Smurf misses you," said Brainy.

"So? He's the reason dad left in the first place," said Hector.

"What do you mean? Clumsy was Papa's favorite smurf, why would he leave that behind," said Hefty.

"Trust me, I didn't want to leave that behind, but Papa left me no choice. He didn't even know that corpse you found was fake," said Clumsy.

"Why would you quit on Papa if he cared for you?" asked Grouchy, causing everyone to go silent.

"You think I quit on him? He quit on me," began Clumsy. "When I tried to reason with him, he didn't listen. He said if I didn't like this village then I should move to the Forbidden Forest, I said that was fine, and I've never looked back since. There, that's why I don't wanna go back to Smurf Village."

Willow was about to say something, but then she heard something in the forest. "Smurfs, protection mode!" she commanded, to which they all did.

Later that night…

Everysmurf of Smurfy Grove was in their battle position, Hector was in his dragon form, and the smurfs from Smurf Village were hiding in the bushes.

Suddenly, a glowbunny popped out of the bushes, carrying a smurf. Hector then tackled the smurf, and pinned him against a tree.

"Surrender!" said Hector. He then sniffed the smurf. "Wait, you smell like Smurf Village."

"Of course he does, that's Papa Smurf, your grandpa," said Clumsy.

"Clumsy, you're alive!" said Papa Smurf, as he got back up on his feet. "You've changed a lot."

"Yeah, the beard gets kind of itchy," said Clumsy. He and Papa then hugged, proving that Papa Smurf still cared about Clumsy. "I thought you'd never find me."

"Well, I wasn't born yesterday," said Papa Smurf.

"I can see that," said Hector, as Clumsy and Papa Smurf stopped hugging. "Hi, I'm Hector, Clumsy's son and the legendary Belgium Dragon."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Hector," said Papa Smurf. He then faced Clumsy. "Come on, Clumsy. Let's go home."

"Okay, I'll come home. On one condition," said Clumsy.

"Name it," said Hefty.

"That all of Smurfy Grove comes with me, if it's okay with Papa and Willow," said Clumsy.

"Well, it's okay with me," said Papa Smurf.

"It's okay with me too," said SmurfWillow.

"Pack your bags girls, cause we're moving to Smurf Village!" said Hector, causing all the smurfs of Smurfy Grove to cheer.

The next day…

Everysmurf in Smurfy Grove had all their things packed, and put them on a bag carrier that Hector had just for this particular situation. Once everysmurf was packed, they all went through the secret tunnel.

After about 5 minutes, Hector was starting to get bored, which SmurfAggie noticed.

"Hey, why don't you sing a song to pass the time," SmurfAggie suggested.

"That sounds good, it's a good thing I brought my banjo," said Hector, to which he started playing his banjo.

Movin' Right Along by Fozzie and Kermit

Hector: Movin' right along in search of good times with good news,

With good friends you can't lose,

SmurfAggie: This could become a habit!

Hector: Opportunity knocks then you reach out and grab it (SmurfAggie: Yeah!)

Together we'll nab it,

SmurfAggie: We'll hitchhike, bus or yellow cab it!

(Hector: Cab it?)

Both: Movin' right along

SmurfAggie: Footloose and fancy-free

Hector: Getting there is half the fun; come share it with me

Both: Moving right along (Hector: doog-a-doon doog-a-doon)

Hector: We'll learn to share the load

SmurfAggie: We don't need a map to keep this show on the road

(Hector: Hey, this song is sounding better, Aggie)

Hector: Movin' right along,

We've found out life is a highway

SmurfAggie: And your way is my way,

Hector: So trust my navigation

SmurfAggie: New smurfy home here we come, the pie-in-the-sky-land

Near a beach, with warm sand

Hector: It's too bad I blew up Rhode Island

(SmurfAggie: You did what?!)

(Hector: Just forget it)

Both: Movin' right along (Hector: doog-a-doon doog-a-doon)

Hector: Hey Aggie, where've we gone?

SmurfAggie: Relax dude, because this ain't Saskatchewan!

Both: Movin' right along (Hector: doog-a-doon doog-a-doon)

Hector: You take it, you know best

SmurfAggie (as they left the tunnel): Hey, I've never seen the sun come up in the West?

Both: Movin' right along

We're truly birds of a feather,

We're in this together and we know where we're going

SmurfAggie: Smurfy boys with pure white clothes and hats with the top down

Hector: We're storming the big town,

(SmurfAggie: Yeah, Storm is right, is your mom sleeping?)

(Hector: Uh, yeah I think she is)

Both: Movin' right along,

SmurfAggie: I see signs up ahead

Hector: Yeah, "welcome" on the same post that says "come back again"

SmurfAggie: Moving right along, nice town!

Hector: Footloose and fancy-free,

SmurfAggie: You're ready for the big time

Hector: Is it ready for me?

Both: Movin' right along,

Movin' right along,

Movin' right along,

Movin' right along

Once they finished singing, they were all in Smurf Village. Once there, the boy smurfs threw a welcoming party, where everybody danced with a partner. After that, Clumsy, Stormy, and Hector moved into Clumsy's old mushroom, which was exactly the way he left it.

The other girls stayed with other smurfs until they got houses of their own, while some girls got to stay with a boy they liked. Although Clumsy never missed Smurf Village, he had to admit, there really is no place like home.

I know this chapter is very long, but that's only because this is a special chapter. And yes, I'm aware that this is now my own continuity, but I just wanted my stories to be their own thing. Besides, you can make your own continuity on this website anyway, so why tell me to stick to the canon when this is my canon. Also, the joke about the do-over spell is the reason why Hector is with the smurfs at the beach, that's why they had Deja vu. Anyways, have a smurfy day everybody.
