The True Catwoman Of Gotham Chapter 3
After the procedure inflicted on Selena Kyle against her will Victoria can't bear to watch her undergo the transformation as she did before. So she rejoins Tygrus to proceed with their daily exercise routine around the island. Almost halfway through Tygrus catches wind of a new scent on the island. One new to both of them and not supposed to be there. They've resided on and explored this desolate landscape long enough to become well aware of this by now.
Sensing an intruder, hackles bared, and neck hair raised, Tygrus leads the way back to the lab, where the trail takes them. As they get closer Tygrus's protective side over Dr. Emile Dorian grows, already not liking this unwanted visitor zeroing in on his father. Soon enough it's concluded that their hunch is correct. Whoever arrived so unexpectedly in their home is definitely there for the Doctor.
By the time they get arrive Garth is exiting the lab, appearing as if he just came out from a brawl. Which he basically did.
"Where's Selena Kyle?"
Staying concealed for now Tygrus snarls lowly in his throat revealing his displeasure at the question.
Anxiously Victoria peers around Tygrus's form to peek inside. What she finds has her eyes widen enormously in surprise.
In front of them right now confronting Dr. Emile Dorian, surrounded by broken glass from the skyline he entered through when tussling with Garth, is the Batman.
Victoria would recognize him anywhere from newspaper articles in the Gotham City.
And boy is he mad.
"I won't repeat myself," warned Batman, glaring heatedly in a dark manner at Dr. Emile Dorian.
Holding his hands up placatingly, Dr. Emile Dorian said "Temper, temper, Batman. You shall see your Catwoman as you've never seen her before."
Dr. Emile Dorian then flips a switch beside a neighboring enclosure previously pitch black.
The lights within then switch on, unveiling the inhabitant inside.
The new fully transformed Selina Kyle in all her feline glory.
Pressing his hands on the glass as he sees her, horrified, Batman gasped "Selina."
From where she stands Victoria bows her head in grief, ears pressed to the back of her head, filled with sorrow that someone else is trapped same as her in this nightmare and there is nothing she could've done to stop it.
Rounding on Dorian, enraged beyond belief, Batman demanded "What have you done to her?"
Quite proud what his life's work has created, Dr. Emile Dorian said "I've made her what she always wanted to be. I've given her power and grace beyond her wildest dreams."
"You've made her a monster," yelled Batman.
Speaking as if gratitude should be handed to him, Dr. Emile Dorian said "I believe she would disagree. You can't even begin to imagine how it is for her. A whole new state of being, heightened senses increased speed, agility, and strength."
Batman can care less about any of this information. Not wasting time he shatters the glass to the enclosure with a nearby table.
Hesitantly Selena meets Batman at the entrance.
"Selena. Do you know me," checked Batman.
Cocking her head to the side, Selena said "Batman?"
Placing a restraining hand on Selena's shoulder, Dr. Emile Dorian said "You'll only confuse her, Batman. She's no longer the woman you knew. No longer even human. In fact, she only needs one more injection to complete-."
Hoisting Dorian up by his collar, teeth gritted, Batman threatened "Reverse the transformation or I'll-."
That is taking it too far for Tygrus. It's the final straw.
Tygrus tosses Batman off his father. He then assists Dorian to his feet as Victoria moves off to the side out of the way, observing everything and trying to be invisible.
Patting Tygrus on the head, Dr. Emile Dorian said "Good lad, Tygrus."
Rising, glancing at both Tygrus and Victoria, Batman said "Two other examples of your genetic tinkering, Dorian?"
"Well, nothing so crude, Batman. Tygrus is the ultimate life form. Superior to any human. And Bastet here is a chosen test subject from Gotham. Someone no one would miss if she simply vanished," said Dr. Emile Dorian as Batman and Tygrus circle each other, gearing for a fight. "Doesn't he remind you of Blake's poem? Tyger tyger, burning bright in the forests of the night."
Tygrus and Batman then go at it. Tygrus lands a blow on Batman, clawing his chest and making three scratch marks from his talons over the bat emblem. Selena tries to help him, but is restrained by Garth and returned to her enclosure.
Seeing an opportunity Dr. Emile Dorian presents an ultimatum to Batman while Tygrus has the upper hand.
Hands clasped behind his back, Dr. Emile Dorian said "Her fate is in your hands, Batman. I want to test Tygrus's reflexes and feral instincts. And who better to pit him against than you."
Victoria doesn't like the sound of this.

Happy New Year!
So I've got some bad news for all my loyal readers. My dog just passed away a couple of months ago. To be perfectly honest I'm heartbroken. He meant so much to me and even though my family has had other dogs in the past, since I moved out, he was my baby and the first animal to ever well and truly be mine. Especially during all of this craziness with covid-19 I think all dog owners can agree that your canine companions can really fill that void that one can find themselves stuck in. And make their households complete. So this is a shout out to all fellow dog lovers out there that see them as their children. Keep your animals close to you and cherish them always…That goes for cats, too. ;)
I cannot begin to describe how apologetic I am for taking so heinously long to get back on track. From this day forward that's all gonna change. Especially since now that I have some more story ideas in mind to add to my profile.
