Summary: Angelica, Susie and Zoey spend their Girls Day Out playdate at the beach.
It was a beautiful sunny day in Yucaipa, California as Drew was taking Angelica, Susie and Zoey to the beach for their Girls Day Out playdate.
"Our playdate at the beach is gonna be so much fun" said Angelica.
"Yeah, I can't wait" replied Susie.
"Uh-huh, it's gonna be real cool" added Zoey.
"Don't worry girls, we are almost there" said Drew.
Soon enough, everyone arrived at the beach and got their gear all set out and changed into their bathing suits.
"You girls ready to have fun" asked Drew.
"Yeah" replied the girls in unison.
"Hey Daddy, would it be okay if Me and my friends could dig a hole in the sand that is big enough for a grown up to fit in" asked Angelica.
"You're referring to Me huh" asked Drew.
Angelica nodded.
"As long as you and your friends promise to fill the hole in when you are finished playing for safety's sake of other people using the beach, I guess it would be okay" said Drew.
The girls sincerely nodded in agreement. Soon, they gathered their shovels and started digging.
"This hole we're digging is gonna be as big as the Graham (Grand) Canyon" said Angelica.
"Yeah, I like digging in the sand" replied Zoey.
"Yeah, it's fun. And who knows, we might even dig right on through to China if we keep this up" said Susie.
The girls all chuckled as they continued digging. It took awhile, but they soon finished digging their large hole in the sand.
"Wow" exclaimed Angelica, Susie and Zoey in unison.
"I'll go get my daddy" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded. After a couple of minutes, Angelica came back with Drew.
"My you girls have out done yourselves" said Drew.
The girls nodded in agreement.
"Now to see if this old man will fit in this hole" said Drew.
And Drew got into the hole and crouched down and said...
"Let me out, I feel like an old man that's been down here for years" said Drew sarcastically.
The girls giggled as Drew came up and out of the hole.
"Don't worry Daddy, we'll get this hole filled back up now that we're finished" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded in agreement.
"Splendid" replied Drew.
And the girls got to work filling the hole back in with sand. It took some time, but at last the hole was filled back in.
"Now that we finished, how about some friendly competition with beach bowling" suggested Angelica.
"Yeah" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
And the girls got ten empty bottles and a sturdy ball and were ready to start.
"I'd like to go first" said Zoey.
"Sure thing" replied Angelica and Susie in unison.
Zoey took her position as she rolled the ball and knocked down all ten pins.
"Yay I got a strike" cheered Zoey.
"Yay, you go girl" cheered Angelica and Susie in unison.
"Let me try next" said Angelica.
Angelica took her position, rolled the ball and knocked down all the pins.
"Yay I got a strike as well" cheered Angelica.
"Yay, you go girl" cheered Susie and Zoey in unison.
"My turn next" said Susie as she got in position.
She stood back, rolled the beach ball and knocked down all the pins.
"Yeah, I got a strike" exclaimed Susie.
"Yay, you go girl" cheered Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"We sure knocked out those pins out good" said Zoey.
Angelica and Susie nodded in agreement.
"Hey, why don't we play hopscotch in the sand" suggested Susie.
"Yeah" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
Soon, the girls found some sticks to draw a grid on the sand and some shells for markers and were ready to start the game.
"I wanna go first" said Angelica.
"Sure thing" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
Angelica then picked up a shell and tossed it and it landed on square one.
"Here I go" said Angelica.
And Angelica hopped carefully on through the squares until she got to the end. And then she repeated the process in reverse and picked up the shell and handed it to Susie.
"Here I go" said Susie.

"Onto round two girls" said Angelica.
This continued for awhile. Eventually, Zoey ended up being the winner at hopscotch.
"I gotta hand it to you Zoey, you sure got what it took to win hopscotch" said Angelica.
"Yeah, you did a great job" added Susie.
"Thanks girls" replied Zoey. "Hey, why don't we blow bubbles next" she suggested.
"Yeah" replied Angelica and Susie in unison.
Soon, the girls got their jars and bubble wands and made a frenzy of bubbles in the air.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha" laughed the girls as they made lots of bubbles.
"This is way past cool" said Angelica.
"Uh-huh, we can make lots of bubbles like this than you can in the bath tub" agreed Zoey.
"Oh yeah, this is how you have a good time" replied Zoey.
This continued for awhile until the girls were ready to do something else.
"Hey, why don't we make sand angels in the sand" suggested Susie.
"Yeah" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"And the bestest part is that even if we get covered with sand, we can make a big splash in the water and get cleaned up instantly" added Zoey.
Angelica and Susie nodded in agreement. Soon, the girls were lying on their backs making their sand angels.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha" laughed the girls.
"This feels so good" said Zoey.
"Yeah, I guess you gotta get dirty to have fun sometimes" replied Angelica.
"Without question for sure" added Susie.
It took a little time, but at last their sand angel creations were completed.
"These are the bestest sand angels we ever made huh" said Susie.
"Yeah" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"I'll see if my daddy can take pictures of our work" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded in agreement. A couple of minutes later, Angelica returned as Drew had his waterproof camera ready.
"My, I see you girls got covered quite a bit with sand" said Drew as he took pictures of the girls and their sand angels.
The girls nodded in agreement and lied back down in the sand and posed for pictures.
"How about taking a dip in the water to get the sand off before having lunch" suggested Drew.
"Yeah" exclaimed Angelica, Susie and Zoey in unison.
And the girls got their water wings and made a run for the water.
"Cannon Ball" shouted the girls in unison as they splashed up a storm in the water. "Ha-ha-ha-ha" laughed the girls.
"Getting wet like this is cool" said Angelica.
"Uh-huh, it feels real great" replied Zoey.
"Yeah, it's just too awesome" added Susie.
The girls played in the water for quite a bit until their tummies started growling.
"My tummy is growling" said Susie.
"Our tummies are growling too" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
Soon, the girls found Drew as he got the picnic lunch all set up as they approached him.
"Not only did you girls clean up good, but you are just in time for lunch" said Drew.
The girls nodded in agreement. Soon, everyone was enjoying lunch.
"Mmmm, these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are delicious" said Susie.
"Yeah" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"Thank you girls" said Drew.
Eventually, lunch was completed as the girls were itching for more fun.
"Daddy" said Angelica.
"Yes Princess" responded Drew.
"My friends and I are gonna make a sandman out of sand next" said Angelica.
"Uh-huh, then we're gonna make a big sand castle" replied Zoey.
"And we're gonna make creative drawings in the sand" added Susie.
"Can you take plenty of pictures of our work before the tide comes in" asked Angelica.
"Of course Princess" replied Drew.
"Thank you daddy" said Angelica.
"Yeah, thank you" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
"C'mon girls, lets get what we need to make us a sandman" said Angelica.
And the girls got their shovels and pails and gathered up rocks, shells, pebbles and seaweed and started working on their sandman creation.
"This will be the bestest sandman we ever made" said Angelica.
"Uh-huh, teamwork is gonna pay off girls" replied Zoey.
"Yeah, and this sandman wouldn't melt so quickly against the sun" added Susie.
It took quite awhile, but at last their sandman creation was completed.
"Wow" exclaimed the girls in unison.
"I'll be right back with my daddy" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded in agreement. After a couple of minutes, Angelica returned with Drew.
"That is an excellent sandman you girls made" said Drew.
"Thanks" replied the girls in unison.
And Drew got out his waterproof camera as the girls stood around their creation and posed for photos.
"C'mon girls, lets get that sandcastle made" said Angelica.
"Yeah" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
And the girls got their shovels and pails and started work on their sandcastle.
"This is gonna be the coolest sandcastle when this moat dug around it" said Susie.
"And these sand castle walls will need plenty of shoring up if it's gonna stand" said Zoey.
"Yep, in no time we will be applying the finishing touches to our greatest sand castle that we ever made" replied Angelica.
After quite a while, the girls smiled proudly as they completed their work.
"Wow" exclaimed the girls in unison.
"I'll be right back with my daddy" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded in agreement. After a couple of minutes, Angelica returned with Drew.
"You girls are totally on the ball with this sandcastle" said Drew.
"Thanks" replied the girls in unison.
And Drew got out his waterproof camera as the girls stood around their sandcastle and posed for photos.
"C'mon girls, lets find some sticks and draw cool stuff in the sand" said Angelica.
"Yeah" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
And the girls found some sticks and started drawing in the sand.
"I'm making a drawing of Me and Cynthia soaking up some sun on the beach" said Angelica.
"That's cool Angelica" replied Susie. "And I'm making a drawing of the three of us jumping up and down joyously on the beach with our pails and shovels" she said.
"Cool stuff girls" said Zoey. "And I'm making a drawing of a big heart with the three of us in it" she added.
In no time, the girls had finished making their Picasso art style creations in the sand.
"Wow" exclaimed the girls in unison.
"I'll be right back with my daddy" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded in agreement. After a couple of minutes, Angelica returned with Drew.
"You girls have quite an imagination here" said Drew.
"Thanks" replied the girls in unison.
And Drew got out his waterproof camera and took photos of their sand drawings.
"Hey girls, wanna twirl around with our hula hoops" suggested Angelica.
"Sure" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
Soon, the girls were twirling up a storm as they stood near the water as Drew took more photos of the girls having fun.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha" laughed the girls as they twirled their hula hoops.
After several minutes, the girls got out the beach ball and passed the ball to one another.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha" laughed the girls.
"Here Zoey catch" said Angelica as she passed the ball her way.
"Got it" replied Zoey. "Here Susie catch" said Zoey as she passed the ball her way.
"Got it" replied Susie.
After several minutes, the girls got out their inflatable rafts (and water wings for safety's sake) and headed out onto the water. Drew sat near the water for good measure to make sure the girls didn't accidently float too far out to sea.
"Ahhhh" sighed the girls in unison.
"This is the life huh girls" said Angelica.
"Uh-huh, floating out on the water is lots of fun" agreed Zoey.
"Yeah, this is cool" added Susie.
As the girls enjoyed themselves, they heard a noise from behind them and saw that the tide was approaching them.
"Oooooh, we better hang onto our bathing suits girls, here comes the tide" said Angelica.
Susie and Zoey nodded in agreement as the girls braced themselves and held onto their inflatable rafts and surfed the tide back to shore where Drew saw everything.
"Woah, are you girls okay" asked Drew.
The girls laughed as Angelica spoke up.
"Oh yes Daddy, surfing that tide was fun" said Angelica.
"Uh-huh, I think I might learn how to surf someday" replied Zoey.
"Yeah, me too" added Susie.
"Well, when the high tide comes in, it's time to pack it in for the day" said Drew.
The girls nodded in agreement. As everyone was packing up, Zoey turned around and started seeing Dolphins leaping out of the water.
"Hey you guys look" exclaimed Zoey. "Dolphins are leaping out of the water" she said.
Drew quickly got his waterproof camera out and snapped plenty of photos of the dolphins jumping in and out of the water as the girls watched in awe. Soon, everyone and everything was all packed up and left the beach.
"So did you girls have a good time today" asked Drew.
"Oh yes daddy, thanks for taking us out today" replied Angelica.
"Yeah, thank you Mr. Pickles" added Susie and Zoey in unison.
"Your welcome" replied Drew. "How about we stop for an ice cream sundae before heading home" he added.
"Sure" replied the girls in unison.
Soon, everyone arrived at the ice cream parlor.
"Mmmm, I love this chocolate sundae" said Zoey.
"I'll take any flavor as long as it was sweet" replied Angelica.
"This sure was a great way to end the day, huh girls" asked Susie.
"Yeah, it was the bestest Girls Day Out ever" exclaimed the girls in unison.
Eventually, the girls finished their sundae's and everyone was back in the car and on the road. The girls were all tuckered out from their playdate and soon fell fast asleep as Drew sped down the road toward the setting sun to drop Susie and Zoey to their respected homes before taking his little Princess and himself for home sweet home and call it a day.
