The children waited as they were instructed and heppily expressed excitement. Placing each large mink blanket down aside. Five mink blankets. Then one paper bag of food was lowered down, followed by trolley bags on wheels.

Then, finally Miriam prepared to climb down but stopped as she reached for the manhole cover.

Raised her brow and looked around, her heart fastened alittle. The wind blew swiftly, her eyes sharpened and worried with widening gaze. Footsteps clammoured then disappeared, she sighed with relief and resumed climbing down, pulling the cover over her head. Stepping out from the wall ledge, the federal agent had caught Miriam.

"I have found her." Reaching back to his squadron officer.

"Excellent, don't let her escape soldier. Bishop wants her alive." lieutenant waters ordered. "Yes sir." looking over his shoulder and singlely hand singal the direction of thier target. Walked to the manhole and surrounded it, prepared to open and climbed down. Pointed their guns, with lights in the opening.

"All clear, remember. Bishop wants the girl alive."

Few minutes away, the children happily chanted and carried a blanket each. Miriam smiled, held her lovers hand and pulled the trolley bag behind her. Splinter pulled the other behind him.

"This is more food, I ever could grab." Miriam said. "I am sorry, I wish I could get more."

Splinter smiled, assured her. "It's alright, my love. And besides this is more food we'd have ever." Raising her hand and kissed her knuckles. Miriam smiled and leaned in, kissed him tenderly.

"Let's get home before it gets cold." she suggested. Splinter nodded agreed.

His ear perched suddenly, whiskers bristled. "Is everything alright?" Miriam asked, worried.

"No, nothing my love. I'll look around shortly." Miriam smiled, continued on with the groceries and the terrapin children skipped. Except Raphael and Mikey, they bickered over the blankets.

"I want that one, gimme raphie." Mikey groaned. "No, this one mine." he hissed, tightly clenched on the blanket. Miriam said gently.

"Boys, no fighting please. I got you a particular coloured blanket each." Both were confused, but haltered their bickering and continued walking to their lair. The four soldiers scouted the sewers, taki g their time to observe and configure the maze. One pulled a cloth over his face, the stench was overpowering.

"For fuck sakes, it stinks down here. How the fuck, can this girl survive down here?"

one soldier whined.

"Don't know but as soon as possible we find her. Can return to the surface and breathe again." another replied, assuring. Both soldiers halted as their squadron leader held a closed fist. "We there already?"

"Shut it, Jose." private banks hissed. Jose shrugged and answered. "Just curious, I'd like to get out of here."

Major smith, pointed two fingers to his eyes then in the direction of the target. "We found her, who is she with?" private Jose said.

"What is she with, you mean." private banks corrected, confused to the sight of the clan Miriam had found and welcomed her as their own.

Taking out the radio and reported to the superior officer waiting. His instructions were given clear. "Leave no witnesses and capture the girl. Return to base asap."

"Yes sir." major smith answered, sheathing his radio. "Capture the girl, no witnesses."

"No witnesses? Are you certain that is the order?" private banks inquired.

"Use tranquilizer on all of them then, you can explain why you had disobeyed commands." major smith told his men, especially private banks.

"I presume agent bishop may be interested in those strange creatures if we brought them back alive." private banks suggested. Major smith sighed and replied.

"You have a point private, use the tranquilizer on sight."

"Yes sir, it will be done." all answered, obeyed.
