Leonardo and Donatello happily cuddled thier nee blankets while Raphael and Mikey believed at first until they were assured, they were given thier personalized color blanket. Miriam said, assuring.
"Boys, I made sure you have your color blanket. And they are also thick, to keep you warm and comfy." Warmly smiled, unpacked the blanket alittle to show her children and give them the assurance they needed.
"See, my son's? This one is red and this one is orange." Mikey and Raphael, hugged Miriam. "Tata mama." Mikey happily cooed, happily.
Raphael kisses her cheek. "You're welcome my son's."
"Come on, let's get home." Miriam gently ushered. Grabbing the trolley bag handle and saw the second trolley bag was left standing. She stepped closer and reached for the second trolley bag as she felt her jacket tugged upon. Turned and glanced to Leonardo, seeing his beautiful light caramel brown eyes looking up to her as he asked.
"Where's master splinter?" lightly caressed his head and replied. "I am not sure, my son. Let's hurry home, I'm sure he will catch up."
Miriam walked behind the children, dragging the trolley bags behind her and kept vigilant. Splinter waited in the darkness, shielding himself and then unintentionally frightened Miriam as he grasped her hand.
"Eep!" Miriam shrieked. Splinter assured calmly. "Miriam it is alright, it is me."
Gathered her breathe, holding her fast paced heartbeat. "Oh my word, splinter please don't do that."
"I am sorry my love." his ears flattened, immediately assured and comfort his mate. Accepted and returned the embrace, her heart finally settled and breathe calmed. "Don't frighten me like that again."
Caressed her cheek, loving and replied. "I promise." She smiled and he kissed her tenderly. Their foreheads touched for a few seconds and he assured. "I'll see you back in the lair, my love."
"Where you going?" Miriam asked, softly. Splinter smiled and caressed her cheek once more. He whispery encouraged.
"Stay silent, take the children and get back to the lair as fast you can. I'll meet you shortly." Miriam nodded, finally agreed and kissed him before taking the children. Splinter watched for a couple of seconds, until his family disappeared in the darkness. Then he too, disappeared in the darkness, using as a veil to overshadow his presence. Nearby, the federal agent soldiers scouted carefully.
Pointed thier weapons, walked slowly and cautiously. Major smith stopped and instructed his squadron, reminding them of instructions to be accomplished.
"Remember, the girl must be kept alive."
"What about those things that is with her?" private banks wondered.
"To be safe, tranquilize them. And take back to agent bishop."
Meanwhile, the soldiers continued in the sewers unaware splinter was stalking them as they were stalking him and his family. Removing his kimono jacket, and folded neatly. Leaving in a safe place to collect. Stepping out from the sewer tunnel and searched for the soldiers in his territory. Splinter didn't like the feeling of been the prey.
He didn't like the idea, his beloved family were also prey. Splinter had to do something, with all he is able to keep his family safe. Water splashed and clashed upon, even around the feet that entered in the wet puddles. Flashes of light, eluded through and about the dark sewers tunnels. Splinter smiled and stepped backward, hiding in the darkness veil.
Waiting patiently, quietly. Major smith passed by the tunnel first.
Followed behind, private banks and private Jose but private Angeles was swiftly grasped from behind. Dropping his gun, but it never met the concrete flooring or the watery path.
Splinter had caught the weapon with his tail. Clamping his hand over private Angeles mouth, keeping him from crying out and calling for help.
He laid the soldier down, carefully and quietly.
Private banks suddenly felt his back, cringe. "Major?"
"Keep vigilant. We are the prey now, tranquilize them on sight." major whiery instructed.
Little later, outside the lair. Miriam and the terrapin children entered the lair. Raphael and Mikey unpacked thier blankets and couldn't wait to place down on thier little futon beds. Leonardo and Donatello did the same, Miriam smiled. Unpacked the portable camper stove and prepared fresh cooked meal for the children. Mikey smiled happily and offered to assist Miriam.
"Can I cook too?" Miriam smiled, caressed his little terrapin head and answered.
"Of course you can, my love. Here, let me teach you how to cook my son."
Mikey was happily excited, learning to cook a can of spaghetti and meatballs. Raphael, Leonardo and Donatello sat around also learning how to cook but cradled a bowl in thier hands, waiting.
Miriam looked to her beautiful terrapin children, thought about how fragile and innocent they are as she remembered her own childhood was all about, moving about. One hotel to another until finally had moved in a house. Lived happily for a short while, blissful few years but never thought the past would creep upon her heels.
The past was kept from her until she found a letter from her foster mother. Explaining why and how her parents knew as she assumed. The more, Miriam though about it. Donatello tried to gain her attention, while Mikey held his hand crying.
Miriam finally heard him and saw Mikey crying. "Mummy, Mikey hurt his hand." Donatello cried.
"Oh my gosh, come here sweetie." comforting Mikey in her embrace and quickly grabbed a bottle of water then wet the cloth and wrapped his little hand.
"Oh Mikey, I'm sorry." Mikey snuggled her embrace, sniffled. Raphael folded his arms and said. "His boo boo."
Miriam glanced to Raphael and lowlt scolded. "Raphael, that is not nice to say about your brother."
He pouted and exhaled heavily. "I'm sorry, Raphael but that isn't nice. Must be together not apart." Miriam closed her hands and aligned herfists. "Together strong, family strong. Brothers strong."
Leonardo and Donatello aligned thier closed fists, side by side and repeated thier mother's affirmation.
"Together strong, family strong, brothers strong."
Miriam smiled proud. "My good son's."
