Chapter 7

After the revelation and reunification of team RRWBY, classes let out for the summer. Students choose either to leave or stay at Beacon.

Ruby and Yang finished talking to their dad and entered the common room. Weiss was braiding Rosa's hair, while she and Blake were meditating. She ended her meditation and looked at Ruby and Yang.

"We just talked to our dad, and he's agreed." Ruby said.

"Great." Rosa said with a smile on her face. She would be joining Ruby and Yang as they went to patch. Weiss and Blake decided to stay at Beacon for different reasons. Rosa began to get up when Weiss gently tugged at her hair.

"I'm not done yet." Weiss said with a huff. Rosa sat back down with a smile on her face.

"Sorry… forgot." Rosa said. "So, what do I need to bring?" Rosa asked.

"We're going to go all around Patch, so you're going to need clothes for that. We also got this lake basically in our backyard, perfectly clean, so there's swimming if you want." Yang said.

"That may be fun." Rosa said.

"I could never go to a beach." Weiss said. "Or wear a bikini." Everyone looked at each other exasperated.

"Yeah… that would be hard to do for you." Yang said.

"I don't want to show the world the scars." Weiss said.

"That's not the only reason." Yang mumbled.

"What was that?" Weiss snapped. She finished the braid and stood up.

"Weiss… we've seen everything you have." Yang said. Weiss' face turned red.

"That's low." Weiss said pointing at Yang. "That was a symbol of my trust in you all."

"And we appreciate the fact that you trust us… but I can still state the obvious." Yang said with a smirk on her face. She dodged a hair tie that Weiss shot towards her. She moved to the side, so it hit Ruby on her forehead.

"Hey… I didn't say anything." Ruby said.

"I was aiming for the yellow dragon." Weiss said. Blake smirked at that.

"But you hit me." Ruby said. She used her semblance to get in Weiss's face and flicked her. She brought her hand to her forehead.

"That was uncalled for." Weiss said. She took out a strawberry and held it in front of Ruby. She jumped for it, but she pulled it back and tossed it at Yang. Ruby rushed over, slamming into Yang, and catching the strawberry.

"Yes, I got it." Ruby said.

"Can you get off me?" Yang asked.

"Oh, sorry Yang." Ruby said. She smiled after getting up.

"I'm not a cushion." Yang said.

"You sure? You cushioned my fall." Ruby said. Yang grabbed her sister by the neck and held her in a headlock. Ruby begged for forgiveness, her hands blurring as she shook.

"I'm ready." Rosa said. She held her suitcase with a smile. "It'll be fun to have time to myself."

"Rosa, you're semblance." Blake said. She looked at herself, and she looked like Nora.

"Sorry. I guess I was acting like her a little." Rosa said.

"That semblance is… uncanny." Weiss said.

"I'd hope it was more realistic. Uncanny can get me in trouble." Rosa said as she turned back to normal. She went to her honey jar and ate a glob of it, smiling.

"Honey…" She said. Her team shook their heads at her display.

"I was thinking we could all go to that new sushi place after we get back." Rosa said.

"Sushi…" Blake started drooling.

"I don't think I've ever had sushi." Weiss said. Everyone turned to her. "I've always wanted to eat it, but father always said it was a 'commoner' food. That bastard likes to forget exactly where his family came from."

"Guess we're going to get sushi when we get back." Ruby said.

"Sounds great." Yang said.

"Oh, and while we're away, don't forget to do your training. Just because it's the summer doesn't mean we get to slack off… that much." She said with a smile.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure Weiss doesn't forget."

"Hey!" Weiss said.

Ruby, Rosa, and Yang left shortly after, leaving Blake and Weiss alone.

"Well… I'm going to…" Weiss started but couldn't think of anything.

"Same here." Blake said. She laid down on her bed.

"Blake…" Weiss said.

"Yeah?"

"I want you to know… I'm trying… hard. It's tough to forget what happened." Weiss said.

"I know… For a few years… I hated humans. I even started to think it was justified to attack them until this girl looked at me with terror in her eyes. She was scared of me…" Blake said.

"I… I don't want to get hurt again. My father has done enough damage as is." Weiss said.

"I've been meaning to ask you about your family. If you're comfortable with it." Blake said.

"There's not much to say. We show the world that we are a family, but when those doors close, we go to hell. My father is obsessed with wealth and stature that he has sacrificed decency and integrity. My Mother drinks… and has had at least one affair that I know of. But Jacques owns the company, so my mother can't leave him without tossing out what my grandfather created. My older sister got out of the house, and my father took it out on my brother and me." Weiss said.

"Has he ever… hit you?" Blake asked, sitting up.

"No… but you don't need to. He… he's the reason I have no faith in myself. He took that away from me. I was never good enough for him, and he made sure I knew it. I almost had a panic attack at the start of the semester when he called me a disappointment for not being the team leader.

"If I ever met him, I would struggle hard to not kill him." Blake said.

"Don't… you don't want his filth to get on you." Weiss said.

"Weiss… I'm glad I got to meet you." Blake said with a smile.

"I wish I didn't have so much baggage." Weiss said.

"I know what you mean there." Blake said. "But… that still leaves us with needed to find something to do."

"Let's see what team JNPR is doing." Weiss said.

"Alright." Blake got up and stretched.

They went across the hall and knocked on the door. Nora opened the door and smiled at them.

"What's going on?" She asked.

"We were wondering what you guys were doing today?" Blake asked.

"We were just getting ready to go to the pool." Nora said. "Come on, join us."

"I guess… we can do that." Weiss said.

Rosa looked out the window looking at Patch. She had a smile on her face as she asked Yang what everything was.

"And that's Signal academy." Yang said. Pointing to a large school. Smaller than Beacon but still large.

"I wonder how Onyx, Alice, and everyone else is doing?" Ruby said. "Hey, Rosa, got any more candy?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, here you go." Rosa handed Ruby her candy collection.

"Have you ever tried a honeycomb?" Ruby asked. Rosa turned to her confused.

"No?"

"We can get you one here. We've got a couple of beekeepers here." Ruby said.

"Honey…" Rosa went for her honey and opened her eyes in shock. She finished her jar. Her head plummeted, and Ruby and Yang could almost see the sadness radiating off of her in a blue cloud.

"Rosa…" Yang started.

"I loved it." Rosa said. "Honey…"

"Now landing." A voice came over the transport.

"Looks like it's our stop." Yang said. They landed and got off quickly.

"RUBY!" Ruby turned to see her friends from Signal and used her semblance to run into them. Yang grabbed Rosa's shoulder and pulled her back.

"Those are Ruby's friends. They're the ones from her old school, so I'm going to let them have some space." Yang said.

"Alright." Rosa said. Yang wrapped an arm around Rosa's neck and showed her around town. They stopped at a bookstore first, and Rosa found the book Blake likes to hide from them, Ninjas of love, and she turned to a random page and started reading it. She started to blush and closed the book.

"I can never look at Blake the same now." Rosa said, putting the book back. "She's a pervert."

"What?" Yang looked at the book Rosa put away and recognized it. She went to grab it when Rosa grabbed her hand and shook her head. She let go of the book and brought her hand back.

"…pervy" Rosa mumbled to herself. She went over to other books and started reading the summaries. Ruby entered the bookstore with friends. Rosa picked out a few books about baking, training, weapons, meditation, and history. The clerk smiled at her as he started scanning the pile. Ruby introduced her friends to Rosa, and they kept walking down the streets of Patch.

"So, Rosa, how's Ruby as a leader?" Alice asked. Alice was one of Ruby's female friends from Patch. She was shorter than Ruby, with blond hair and green eyes. She wore everyday clothes and had on a lot of jewelry. She had six rings, and six earrings in. She wore four necklaces, all with the different kingdom symbols on them.

"She's good. We've had a few things… testing our team, but that's been fixed up. So, it should be smooth sailing from here." Rosa said.

"What happened?" Onyx said. Another friend, this time a male from Patch. He had dark skin, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He was taller than Ruby and Rosa, but shorter than Yang. He had a giant emblem on the back of his jacket and wore simple clothing. He wore bracelets around his hands, that looked like rings. Rosa didn't see any visible weapons and she wondered if maybe they had weapons on them.

"One or two problems, nothing that hard work couldn't overcome. By the way, I've been teaching her some new games. Sabacc and Pazak, along with others." Rosa said.

"What are those games?" Alice asked.

"Gambling." Yang said. "So no, we're not playing it." She looked at Rosa and Ruby with a glare.

"Fine, fine." Rosa said.

The group continued to talk as they went to the other stores in the area. Rosa got a larger jar of honey and sealed honeycomb. She also got Ruby a carton of strawberries, which she was eating happily, like her honey.

"It's kind of scary how alike those two act." Alice said. She drank from her coffee, and smiled, melting to look like Ruby and Rosa. Yang just looked at the three and shook her head.

"I know, but she's always been that way." Onyx said. He popped a caramel with crème in the center in his mouth and shook his head. "Amazing like always."

"Look at this display." A man said. Yang turned around to see her father and hugged him.

"Dad!" Ruby yelled, rushing up to hug him. Rosa looked at their father, a tall man with a tattoo and blonde short hair. He wore shorts, and a comfy shirt. He looked at Rosa and waved.

"This must be Rosa, welcome to Patch." Tai said. Rosa bowed, and Tai waved his hand.

"You don't need to do that. Come on you three." Tai said.

"See you later Mr. Xiao Long." Onyx and Alice said as they left. Tai took the girls back to their home, and opened the door for them.

"Welcome to our home Rosa. It's a pleasure to meet you." Tai said.

"Oh, yeah dad, I promised our martial arts professor that I'd ask you to come guest teach a lesson at Beacon." Yang said.

"Really? Then I'd guess I'd have to find time to do that. But I have to ask, is this new teacher a Jedi?" Tai asked.

Everyone stopped.

"You know what a Jedi is?" Rosa asked.

"Yeah, I should since I was on a team with one." Tai said. "Well… I guess most would assume three, but they were…" Tai mumbled that last part.

"Mom…?" Ruby started.

"Look, I was the only one who couldn't use the force on my team. And I met a lot of other Jedi… Sith too now that I think of it." Tai said.

"You met Jedi and Sith?" Rosa asked.

"Yeah, and I met one more today." Tai said.

"Dad… are you saying Mom was a Jedi?" Ruby asked. Tai stopped and sighed.

"Yes, she was. I don't know if you can be one, but she was. I didn't want to tell you until you were a huntress so I could explain it all to you. Your mothers… were both trained in the force." Tai said. Yang and Ruby looked at each other than at Tai. Qrow Branwen got off the living room couch, standing up and sighing.

"You're going to confuse them more if you keep talking." Qrow said.

"That's why I wanted you here." Tai said. Qrow looked at his nieces, then at Rosa.

"You're the new kid, right?" Qrow asked.

"I'm… new to Remnant yes." Rosa said.

"Look, your Jedi order isn't the same one from here. Odan-Urr was still alive when the Jedi first came to Remnant. Since then, it's molded itself to match Remnant, not the other way around. Of course, they still got basically everything from back then, but the whole no marriage thing was never given to us. And we're damned lucky for it." Qrow said.

"But what about starlight Beacon?" Rosa asked.

"You know where it is already. But those Jedi made a failed splinter group called the true Jedi. Died off during the Pare-Kylnder war. Then we got the darkness…" Qrow said.

"Qrow, I think Ruby and Yang have a lot of questions." Tai said.

"Alright, Yang you're the older sister, so you get the first question." Qrow said.

"Are we…Jedi?" Yang asked.

"You have never been trained, so no. Look, you might have some talent with it, but it takes decades to call yourself a Jedi. Your friend's what's called a Padawan. She still has the braid. We both wanted you to choose your lives. Most of this planet has Jedi blood in it, and a lot of them also have some Sith Blood in them. Just because one or more of your ancestors used the force doesn't mean you exactly have the same ability, but we should check both of you."

"If we wanted to be Jedi… how would we become that?" Ruby asked.

"Being a Jedi isn't a simple thing. It's not just a sword and a title. Your friend here has been in war. She's seen people die, and I bet she's had to kill people. This is an issue serious as hell itself." Ruby looked at Rosa, and she confirmed it.

"I've killed before. In self-defense, and the defense of others." Rosa said with almost no emotion.

"You will have to kill. Even as a huntress, you're likely going to have to kill. Why do you think I'm the way I am, or your dad has his weird habits? Killing haunts, you girls. It fucks with your brain. And if you can't deal with it now, you're going to end up destroying yourself." Qrow said.

"But… I don't want to kill…" Ruby said.

"Only sociopaths want to kill, but there are times where it must be done. Would you do it if you had to kill a thug to save my life?" Qrow asked. Ruby didn't answer, but she shook her head.

"But Ruby, it's all about how you deal with ending a life. Some people turn to sex or drugs, or alcohol to cope. Some exercise until the body is about to give up. Some read, and some teach. It's the ones who dwell on killing, the ones who let it become who they are, they are the ones who you have to worry about. They become a ticking time bomb ready to explode any way it can." Tai said.

"If mom had the force… and she isn't a Jedi… then what…?" Yang asked.

"Raven and I come from a clan of dark side users. We were trained in the dark side and got into Beacon to learn how to defeat… Jedi and hunters. I saw how fucked it was, and so did Raven for a time… but she was always consumed with power…" Qrow said.

"I'll… I'll leave. I shouldn't be here for this." Rosa said.

"Don't worry girl. I don't blame you for leaving after learning that." Qrow said. Rosa left the house, and sat outside, and she began to meditate.

"You were trained to kill Jedi?" Ruby asked.

"We weren't exactly Sith, more… anti-Jedi. Yang, your mother returned to our tribe and took over. After that… I have no idea what happened to her." Qrow slouched and sat down in a chair, slouching there. He brought his hand to his eyes.

"I couldn't stop her. I tried to talk to her, but she wouldn't listen. Why?" Qrow asked quietly. He ran his hand through his hair and looked at the ceiling. He let out a sigh and took out a lightsaber from his sleeve.

"A lightsaber?" Ruby asked.

"We made our lightsabers together. She had the twin to this one… but even then, she tried to kill me with it…" Qrow put the lightsaber on the table. "I will never use it again unless she comes back to the light."

"She abandoned us." Yang said, anger rising in her.

"You still haven't forgotten her or forgiven her." Qrow said.

"I'll never forgive her!" Yang said.

"Yang… I doubt she's forgiven herself." Tai said.

"She left you and dropped me off on your step." Yang said.

"Yes, she did. But… She can still be saved." Tai said.

"How do you know?" Yang demanded.

"You're here. If nothing else, you show she still has good in her." Tai said. Yang stepped back and felt a tear coming down her face.

"And Ruby… Summer's hope for everyone… It's been passed to you." Tai said. His two daughters looked at him, tears starting to form.

"Our to change the world has passed, now, got the mission to pass onto you what we learned. Don't worry, we don't plan on dying anytime soon." Qrow said. "And you need to get through school before you can even think about replacing us."

Ruby and Yang laughed at their uncle, and they wiped away their eyes.

"Uncle Qrow… I got one more question." Ruby said.

"Alright kiddo." Qrow said.

"Do most hunters and huntresses have Jedi blood in them?" Ruby asked.

"Basically, everyone who's a hunter has strong Jedi blood. There seems to be some link between aura and semblances and the force. And this planet, but that's a different matter."

Rosa sat outside meditating and saw she was back on Antar IV. One of the first planets to separate from the republic. They were following the trail of a dark side artifact and it had found itself on the planet. Maku and his squads slipped by the security and covertly landed on the planet.

"Rosa, this planet is a hotbed for separatists. We have no allies here. Reports have shown that there may be dark Jedi here. If so, we must fall back immediately and abandon the mission." Maku said.

"Abandon the mission?" Rosa asked.

"Yes. We can't take on the Jedi that have fallen. Master Sora Bulq and Quinlan Vos are among the reported fallen Jedi." Maku said. Rosa froze. They stood no chance against either opponent.

"I understand master." Rosa said.

The mission was difficult to do, mainly because of the confirmed dark Jedi presence on the planet. Maku met up with Rosa as they were spotting the dark fortress that the dark Jedi were reported to have entered.

Then Maku shot his head up. He used the force to hide him and Rosa from view as a dark presence came down to the fortress in a ship. Rosa held out her binoculars and saw Count Dooku walking down a walkway.

"We need to abort the mission. That's Count Dooku." Rosa said.

"I feared as much."

"You're not going anywhere." A voice from behind came. Maku and Rosa rolled to the sides and got off the ground. A dark Jedi held his lightsaber out at them. Nax Cirvan stood behind them. Rosa and Maku turned on lightsabers and got ready to fight Nax.

Rosa struggled and was repeatedly tossed aside. Maku was the main fighter, struggling against Nax. His strength was great, and Maku focused on blocking the attacks. He barely had time to gather force energy to meet him blow for blow.

Rosa looked at Nax and just wanted to become invisible. Maku was knocked down, and Nax held his lightsaber over Maku. Rosa rushed forward and turned her lightsaber on in his side. He let out a gasp, and Maku brought his lightsaber forward into his heart, killing Nax.

Nax fell to the ground, and Maku grabbed Rosa as they ran as fast as they could. They barely avoided Quinlan Vos checking out what happened. He put his hand on the dark Jedi and let a smile cross his face for a moment when Sora Bulq came behind him.

"What the hell happened?" Sora asked.

"He didn't see who killed him. They're fast, and they left no trace behind." Quinlan said. They got close to the docking bay only to see the ship they came in explode.

"Damn." Maku said.

Rosa felt the clones die on the ship. It would be another two weeks before they had a chance to sneak aboard a merchant ship. In that time, Maku had begun teaching Rosa how she could use the force to become invisible. Maku told her she used it against the dark Jedi and that's why she was able to hit him.

When they snuck aboard the ship, they hid in the cargo bay until they landed on a moon close to republic territory. Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, along with the 501st clone legion were fighting a battle on the planet, and they signaled him.

"This is General Skywalker, who am I talking to?" Anakin asked.

"This is Jedi Master Maku, my padawan and I were on a spy mission gone wrong." Maku said.

"If you can get to my position, I can help you." Anakin said.

Of course, they did, and Rosa saw the full-scale battle taking place. She was shocked at how powerful Ahsoka was and was even more astonished when she saw Anakin working.

The vision ended.

"Remembering the past… I wonder why?" A voice came from behind. An old woman was walking along the road and waved for Rosa to come to her. She followed without delay and stood in front of the old lady.

"The power I feel in you… is held back by quite a lot. A shame young Jedi." The old woman said.

"The Jedi are a lot more well-known than I was originally led to believe." Rosa said.

"They are still mostly unknown, but with you training to be a huntress, it would seem like every other person is a Jedi." The old woman said.

"How do you know so much about me?" Rosa asked.

"You were stuck in the past in that meditation. It doesn't take much effort to look into events after that." She said. "But you… you are interesting. Care to walk with an old woman?" She asked.

"Alright." Rosa said.

"Dear girl… the Jedi, and the Sith. You've met both haven't you?" She asked.

"I have." Rosa said.

"What did you think?" She asked.

"The dark side is… terrifying." Rosa said. The old woman looked at her.

"Terrifying, in a way it could very well be. But someone on that side could say the light is much the same." The old woman said.

"The light…"

"I know what you're going to say. The basic Jedi mantra is about the light being good and dark being bad. I've heard it a million times. I don't care to hear it another." She said. "I want to know about you girl. Why are you a Jedi?"

"I don't know any other life." Rosa said.

"Have you any doubts it's the right path?" She asked

"No." Rosa said.

"Look girl, one doesn't live as long as I do without being able to tell things. You wonder why people go to it, and saw the power it gives. You were dominated in the fights against it. It would make anyone wonder about the light." She said.

"Why are you asking me this?" Rosa asked.

"I'm old." She said. "I'm going to die very soon, and I want someone to give my knowledge to. My students all failed me. None of them knew what I wanted out of them. Now, I'm just happy to give any knowledge to you, even if you don't take my advice." She said.

"Shouldn't you be at home if you're going to die soon?" Rosa asked.

"I was going there. I finished the last of my business here on Remnant, except for this. Take me to my home and I'll teach you all I can." She said.

"What's your name?" Rosa asked.

"I've had many names over my life, but my last one is Nox."

Maku was still in shock at the reveal. He had not expected to see a familiar face here on Remnant, especially multiple faces.

"You brought your clones with you?" Maku asked. A dozen clones stood with their helmets off, all with visible scars on the side of their heads. The head clone smiled and his machine eye closed and a smile came across his face. The Kel Dor Jedi master stood in front of Maku and Ozpin.

"We discovered the chips shortly before our battle on Cato Neimoidia. We took out the chips, but not all of us made it out." Commander Wolffe said.

"This is a lot to take in." Maku said.

"I understand seeing someone come back from the dead is troubling, but I am in good health… unlike the others." Plo Koon said. Maku bowed to the master.

"Master… I'm happy you're alive." Maku said, not looking at him. The Kel Dor put his hand on Maku's shoulder, and he felt a calming aura fill him.

"Our ship was damaged on the way here." Wolffe said.

"That is probably because of the effect of this world. It acts as a gravity well. It isn't understood why, but there is no way to leave Remnant with hyperspace tech. It's been this way for as long as records go." Ozpin said.

"Were there other Jedi who survived?" Maku asked, "besides those fighting for their lives."

"Most of the order is gone… I have heard from no one else." Plo said.

"This planet is strange…" Maku said.

"Indeed." Plo said.

"But this planet is important. It holds many of the keys to many of the galactic secrets." Ozpin said. They turned to him.

"We are in the unknown region as you know, so it's cut off from the galaxy. But Remnant is a… shatterpoint to the rest of the galaxy. Shrouded completely, unknown unless stumbled upon. It almost seems like divine intervention… or Celestial." Ozpin said with a smile.

"What are you implying?" Maku asked.

"I've studied many ancient mysteries." Ozpin said with a smile.

"Master Windu… he's lost his hand." Maku said.

"He challenged the dark lord and was betrayed. He barely made it to us alive. It's taken everything we've had to keep him alive." Plo said.

"There are still so many mysteries…" Maku said.

"Yes, there are indeed." Plo said.

Blake and Weiss were walking back to their dorm, smiling, and laughing with each other.

"Hello ladies. Do you know where the registration office is?" A man with white spiky hair said. He wore a black jacket, with a grey shirt underneath, and comfortable jeans. His eyes were yellow, and he gave off an aura of power.

"Yeah, it's over there." Weiss pointed to the office building, and he bowed, thanking them.

"What's your name?" Blake asked.

"Cyan. I know, my parents weren't that subtle." Cyan said.

"Are you here for the festival?" Weiss asked.

"Yeah, representing Mistral." He smiled. Then he went to the office.

"I wonder where the rest of his team is." Weiss said.

Rosa listened to the old lady as they walked.

"The Dark Side is addictive and takes from you, but it gives you in return immense power. Lightning and chokes are the least of what a Sith can do. But for it to be effective against a Jedi they have to be powerful. The problem with the Sith is that they all seek to be the most powerful. So they have always destroyed each other." Nox said.

"Then why does the organization form?" Rosa asked.

"To gain power, and to kill Jedi. The Sith might say otherwise, but they have always been craving the power the Jedi have. It leaves them weaker in the long run, but if it gives them enough power to kill a Jedi, it's worth it to them." Nox said.

"But they're more likely to be killed by another Sith as a Jedi." Rosa said.

"Correct. The greatest flaw of the Sith as it were. We're here." Nox said.

The house was small, perfect for an old lady. Rosa brought her up to her front steps, and Nox unlocked the door.

"I have my own personal philosophy on the Jedi. They only care about the greater good. Only help out when they're there because it's their job. Damnable lot the Jedi are sometimes." Nox said as she opened the door. She walked over to her bed and got in it. Rosa helped her get comfortable.

"The Jedi who fought against the Darkside in open war are long dead. Within and without. The Jedi are open to destruction more often than you'd like to think. But here, as long as they don't gather, they should be fine. Take my book, read it." Nox handed her a book and took a deep breath.

"Just don't get lost in a damned quest to end the darkness." Nox said. Rosa looked at the book and turned the pages.

"This is your work?" Rosa asked.

"Yes… Read it when you feel like it. All my lessons." Nox said. "Now, leave. I no longer require your service."

"Alright." Rosa said, leaving the house with the book. She used the force to go back to the house, not noticing the woman dying.

Ruby and Yang held out their hands, and Qrow took out the blood-testing device. The device quickly punctured the skin and scanned the blood. Qrow looked at the results and showed them to Tai.

"You… both have the ability to be trained as Jedi." Tai said.

Ruby and Yang looked at each other. They didn't know how this would change them.

"Look, this is just a test saying you got midi-chlorians in you suggesting force sensitivity. It doesn't mean that your Jedi, you just got the potential to be Jedi." Qrow said.

"You also haven't been awoken to the force yet, so until we find someone who can train you, I suggest you don't awaken to the force." Tai said.

"People who can train us? We only know two Jedi." Ruby said.

"It will be far more dangerous for you and your allies if we awaken you without having teachers." Qrow said. "And I can't really teach you how to be a Jedi…"

Rosa walked back into the house holding a book.

"Here's the padawan." Qrow said. Rosa bowed to them.

"Is it still a bad time?" Rosa asked.

"No, not really. This discussion's done." Tai said.

Ruby and Yang looked at their father and he shook his head at them. Rosa looked between them and wondered what happened. Qrow tossed her the blood test results, and she widened her eyes.

"They aren't awakened yet to the force. Unless it calls to them, they need teachers." Qrow said.

"We can probably find someone to teach you." Rosa said with a smile.

The rest of the week was spent quite the same as a usual vacation, except for Rosa. She had no idea what a family did on vacation. She watched as the family spent a lot of time at the lake, and agreed, that it was a good place to swim. Tai also trained Yang and Ruby at the same time. Then they moved to Qrow. Ruby had taken quickly to Qrow's lessons and Yang to Tai's. She read the books learning while they trained. She didn't skip on her training either, but she did it at an earlier time. Ruby and Yang asked more about the force and she answered what she could. But she had run into a wall of her understanding.

"She's still learning, what do you expect?" Qrow said, sipping on a cocktail.

"I guess we're just going to have to ask Maku when we get back to Beacon." Yang said.

The rest of the vacation went on, and when it was time to go, Rosa smiled and waved to Tai and Qrow as they'd seen them off back to Beacon.

"I hope Weiss and Blake haven't killed each other while we were gone." Ruby said.

"I don't think that would happen." Rosa said, smiling.

"But are they back on bad terms? With Weiss, it's unpredictable." Yang said.

They got back to Beacon to see Weiss braiding Blake's hair.

Rosa entered her room, and turned her head, feeling a familiar presence. She saw a boy with white hair walking by, and she looked at him. He waved at her, and continued walking.

"Strange." Rosa said. "He felt so familiar."

"Probably déjà vu. He's from Mantle." Weiss said.

"But… I feel some other familiar auras… ones that shouldn't be here…" Rosa said. She put her bag down and left the room. She followed the force signature until she got to the main campus. She continued onward until she got to the secret section when Maku stepped in front of her.

"Rosa, what are you doing here?" Maku asked.

"Master… I felt extremely familiar force presences. I came to check it out." Rosa said. "And… since I ran into you here, I have news for you. It's about Yang and Ruby… They're force-sensitive but unawakened." Rosa said. Maku nodded his head and put his hand on her head.

"It is a surprise you learned so much on your break, but back to the first matter…" A door opened, revealing Jedi Master Plo Koon. He looked at the padawan and she widened her eyes, then bowed.

"Master Plo, what are you doing here?" Rosa asked.

"You have yet to tell her?" Plo asked Maku.

"I don't know how. I was hoping to get some help with this." Maku said.

"Tell me what masters?" Rosa asked.

"Padawan Reidan, we have an important issue to discuss. Step inside." Plo said. Rosa followed him, and he took Rosa to the med bay. Plo wasn't the only Jedi master here. Windu, Kit Fisto, and Shaak Ti were floating in Bacta, along with other Jedi knights, some of them were dead, and their bodies were placed in body bags. Clone bodies all from the Wolffe pack were here. She looked at the scene then back at the masters.

"We were betrayed. Master Windu and Fisto went to fight the Sith Lord, Palpatine. Shaak Ti was nearly killed by Anakin Skywalker. The clones turned on us. Only my clones and the clones directly under ARC Fordo stayed loyal to the republic. We were nearly killed, and some of us were. Everything we once held dear is gone." Plo said.

Rosa's face hardened, and the life left her eyes.

"What is the mission?" Rosa asked.

"We need to survive." Plo said. "And to do that… We'll need to learn about this planet."

"How many Jedi did you bring with you?" Rosa asked.

"We took fifty Jedi with us, but we were immediately attacked by imperial forces. Our ship is damaged beyond repair, with only the equipment being salvageable. We crashed in an abandoned city close to here." Plo said. "The padawans that we're able to copy what you've done have had false reports written for them and registered here at Beacon. The knights are out gathering information, and the masters are either healing or integrating into the staff or similar positions here. With the help of Ozpin, the clones have become the security for the city of Vale." Plo explained.

"Master… I have teammates who need to be trained to use the force." Rosa said, her mission mask still on.

"Then we shall train them. As of now, we must assimilate into the culture of this planet." Plo said.

"I understand master." Rosa said, bowing.

"I hope you do because I fear we'll have great challenges ahead of us."

Author's Notes: This is one of the biggest differences between the Karel and Rosa timelines. Both had a lot more Jedi than originally thought but in different ways.

A few reviews were left last time, and I have responded to them personally. Thank you CT7567Rules again for reviewing.

For Sun being a Jedi, I didn't set out to make it that way, but I discovered as I was writing that it was a good idea. Just like I'm repeating Ruby and Yang being Jedi. Honestly, I see them as Jedi. Perhaps it has something to do with the universes that the characters inhabit?
