Chapter 8

After coming home from a short vacation, Rosa finds out the truth about the darkness she felt. Fifty Jedi of all levels of the order arrived in various states of injury. Ruby and Yang have learned about their heritage with the force.

Rosa walked into her dorm room, shocked. Her teammates quickly got up and went to her side. She shook her head and went to sit down. She brought her hand to her head and shook it.

"I just learned that we were betrayed." Rosa said.

"What?" Yang asked.

"The Jedi, we were betrayed. When I came here, shortly after I felt agony and great darkness. I didn't know what it was, but now I do. A ship crashed at Mount Glenn sometime recently, and it was full of Jedi and clones. The clones were implanted with a chip that made them do whatever the Sith Lord wanted to do. He used the clones to wipe out the Jedi, except for a few." Rosa said.

"A ship full of Jedi?" Ruby asked.

"Yes… Some of the younger Jedi, the padawans like me, have joined the school. There are a lot of Jedi running around in Vale. Including masters of the Jedi council. The highest seat in the Jedi order. I met with the only one that was stable enough not to be in a medical coma." Rosa said. A knock came at the door, and a hooded figure stood there. Rosa led him in and closed the door. He took off his hood, and there stood Plo Koon. The girls took a step back.

"This is the Jedi Master who I was talking about. He was the leader of the clones that didn't try to kill us." Rosa said.

"Thank you for the introduction. I am Jedi Master Plo Koon. I understand that at least two of you have force potential." Plo said.

Everyone looked at him.

"Don't mind the mask. Oxygen-rich atmospheres are harmful to him." Rosa said.

"Oh…" Yang said.

"It's us…" Ruby said, stepping up, and holding her arm out to Yang. "We aren't awakened yet, but our mothers were force users." Ruby said. Weiss and Blake looked at them.

"I understand that you were looking for a master. We have multiple masters who are currently healing from life-threatening wounds. Our order is crumbling. We have been filled in with the current situation here on Remnant, and we would like to give our aid to this world. This Darkness that stands against life… we have a duty to stand against it. But we need members. I understand there are Jedi hidden across this world." Plo said.

"Sun…" Blake said.

"You want to train us?" Ruby said.

"Yes." Plo said. They looked at each other, then back at him.

"We want to know more about our parents…" Yang said.

"And if this connects us with them… then we'll do it." Ruby said.

Plo bowed his head at them and held out his hand to them. They stood and looked at the Jedi.

"Our powers haven't been awakened." Yang said.

"I can awaken them. I will have to further study this world. I feel lighter than I have for decades… since Naboo." Plo said. The girls looked at him. "I will teach you later about the history of the Jedi. I have to admit, I have suspicions about this planet. But… I am also wounded. Spiritually that is. We all are still disturbed." Plo said.

"How so master?" Rosa asked.

"We are still capable padawan. There is no need to worry about that." Plo took Ruby and Yang.

Rosa watched her teammates rapidly change. Shaak Ti had been able to leave the bacta tanks and had taken over training Ruby, while Plo Koon took over for Yang. Two weeks later, they were already using the force to levitate rocks. Weiss and Blake watched, as Maku stepped toward them.

"We can always test the two of you as well." Maku said. Sun jumped down and saw Ruby and Yang using the force, he stepped back.

"I left to get my team ready. I missed a lot." Sun said.

"Yes… you did." Maku said. "Those are Jedi council masters. There are two more who are healing, but we also have knights, padawans, and I believe two other masters who came here with them."

"About that test… what does it entail?" Weiss asked.

"A simple blood test. We look for high amounts of midi-chlorians. If there are high amounts, we can assume a strong connection to the force, strong enough to be a Jedi." Maku said.

"What does Rosa think about this situation?" Blake asked.

"I believe she'd be extremely happy if all her teammates had a connection to the force like her." Maku said.

Maku quickly tested Weiss and Blake, and they had higher than average counts of midi-chlorians. Higher than Rosa even. All of her teammates had higher counts than Rosa. Maku smiled. Sun looked over and shook his head.

"I'll be damned. All of them. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were put together like that on purpose. But the force does work in mysterious ways." Sun said.

"So… we can be Jedi." Weiss asked.

"You all have strong connections to the force, unawakened. The power lies dormant in a living being until an event so drastic causes the awakening of the force, or when another force user unblocks the force currents. Imagine is like a dam that holds back a massive amount of water. I can open the dam the water bursts through, but it can become a mighty river with training. Powerful, but not harmful. That is why when someone is awakened to the force, we cannot allow them to fully return to who they were before. The powers in you are far too great and dangerous. And in the early stages of training, it is all too easy to be seduced to the dark side." Maku said.

"I think we should look into training. It can only help us in our mission." Weiss said.

"The Jedi path is a hard one. We must be willing to lay down our lives when we are called to do it." Maku said.

"Just like a huntress." Blake said.

"Very well. I will confer with the masters, and we will start your training." Maku said. Sun went with Maku.

"Might as well introduce myself, right." Sun said.

"Very well." Maku said.

"Masters, I have done the test for the other team members and discovered they also have a powerful connection to the force. Higher midi-chlorians than Rosa. All of them." Maku said.

"This is interesting. The force has richly blessed this world." Shaak Ti said. "It is a mystery of why this planet is so strong in the force."

"Masters… I'm one of the Jedi from this planet, Sun Wukong. I've been trained to be a Jedi knight, though it was recently I passed my last trial. I can help you with some stuff about my home." Sun said. The masters turned to Sun and looked at him.

"Does this planet not use robes?" Shaak asked.

"Not really. We try our best to not shout that we're Jedi." Sun explained about the darkness.

"I see. This world is strong in the light, but just as strong in the dark. And they have faced dark siders…" Shaak said. "We must train them to fight dark siders."

"Agreed." Plo said.

Rosa was walking to her room when the white-haired man named Cyan turned the corner bumping into her. They both fell to the ground, and Rosa quickly went to help him up. After they both got up, they looked at each other.

"I'm sorry about that." Cyan said.

"I should be apologizing. I was distracted." Rosa said.

"We'll just say we're both at fault. Is that a philosophy book you have there?" Cyan asked.

"It is. I like the topic." Rosa said.

"I wasn't implying anything. I think we should be teaching the subject more here." Cyan said. "Though this man isn't someone I agree with. He teaches that emotions are something to be avoided. Sounds like a monk to me."

"Emotions sometimes get in the way." Rosa said.

"You sound like a robot." Cyan said. "Emotions have their place. If they didn't, we wouldn't have evolved with them. Only the strongest traits survive to the modern day to spread into the general population. They have to have some biological effect on us. Look at fear as an example. Fear makes us more aware of our surroundings. Love connects people, desire gives us our goals and on you go. Which emotion would you get rid of?"

"Hate." Rosa said.

"Do you say you don't hate the Grimm?" Cyan asked.

"I wouldn't say I hate them exactly." Rosa said.

"Then does that mean you kill them for no reason?" Cyan said.

"Self-preservation." Rosa said.

"A justification for war, if I'm not mistaken." Cyan said.

"Wars are fought for far less." Rosa said.

"Is that cynicism I hear?" Cyan asked.

"Why are you asking me all these things?" Rosa asked.

"Just pushing against you to see how much of this philosophy you've taken in." Cyan said. Rosa put her books away and bowed to Cyan.

"If you'll excuse me." Rosa moved on. Cyan watched her go and smiled. He gripped her necklace in his hands. Emerald would be able to enchant this.

"Foolish Jedi." Cyan said. "Can't even sense it."

Rosa went to the training ground and found the masters with all her teammates. She stopped in front of them. Rosa bowed.

"Rosa, good. As you know, Ruby and Yang have been awoken to the force, but now we have found your other two teammates are also force sensitive. We have awoken them as well." Maku said. Rosa looked at her team and knew they had all begun their Jedi training.

"I understand. It is a surprise." Rosa said. Some students walked by and looked at the Jedi.

"Is it safe to practice out in the open?" Yang asked.

"The term this planet has… faunas, is the name for the non-humans, correct?" Plo said.

"Yes, master." Blake said.

"Then they will assume that is what we are." Plo said.

"But faunas have a human and animalistic trait." Weiss said, then she looked at Blake. Blake nodded her head.

"With the absence of explanation, the easiest answer rises to the top." Shaak Ti said. "Now, we have asked Padawan Reidan here as a demonstration in lightsaber combat against another lightsaber user."

Rosa felt shock run down her spine and noticed the masters turn to look at her. Shaak's face lightened up.

"We have asked Jedi Wukong to be your opponent." Shaak said. Sun dropped down from a tree and took out his lightsaber. The blue light hummed in the air, and Sun entered the form IV opening stance. Rosa took a breath and entered into the form VI stance and waited.

"Begin." Shaak Ti said. Sun moved first. Rosa brought up her lightsaber to block the blue blade, stepping back, then swung it around, trying to hit Sun's side. He jumped out of the way and landed behind Rosa, slashing at her. She rolled forward, losing her footing, which Sun capitalized on. He rushed forward, and Rosa sent out a force push. Sun rose his hand, but the push made him stumble. Rosa rushed forward and rose her lightsaber in a classic form I overhead strike, turning her lightsaber off before it would have hit Sun. Sun jumped back before the lightsaber turned back on.

"Trakata. You almost got me." Sun said. Rosa held her lightsaber up. "But there are still a lot of weaknesses you have. The feint was perfect, but you put too much into the swing. The effort is wasted, and now, I'm more aware of you." Sun said.

He knew the trick. She took in a breath and put on a mask of indifference. Her face changed, and Sun saw it. She had Ren's eyes and Weiss' scar over her eye. Maku looked at his apprentice and wondered if her semblance showed what made up her mask.

"Your semblance…" Sun said. Rosa rushed forward and tried to strike Sun while he was off-balance, knocking him back. He jumped backward, landing on a stone wall at the edge of the arena, and used it and the force to launch at Rosa. She rolled to the side, but when Sun landed, he rolled, jumping up, hitting Rosa's back. Because it was in training mode, she wasn't hurt too much.

Rosa stumbled forward and dropped her lightsaber.

"I surrender."

"Alright." Sun put his lightsaber away and went up to her. She got up and bowed at Sun.

"You are truly stronger than me." Rosa said.

"You've got a lot of work to do to get to the great masters, but for a padawan, I'd say that was good. You even used trickery in your attacks. Trickery in a battle could mean life and death." Sun said.

"Her Form VI could use work in the defensive. I would recommend studying form III, the root of form VI. Adding in more force attacks will help you. Also, since you are physically weaker than many opponents, you need to learn how to redirect the energy used in attacks. I would recommend doing everything in your power to end fights quickly, but when that option is unavailable, you need to be able to defend yourself until an opening appears." Shaak Ti said.

"Yes, master." Rosa said.

"Niman is a tricky form to master in. It's all about the mental game. No one knows what you're going to do next. No one knows your skills and has to assume until discovered otherwise that you have any skill. I would also add other additives to your fighting. Try Dun Möch, verbal attacks that take the opponent off balance. You have a special ability to change your appearance, use it to your advantage." Plo said.

"Yes, master." Rosa said.

"Now, for the rest of your team, this is an important lesson. We here are the different levels of Jedi. You are the initiates, but your natural connections to the force are strong enough that I doubt you will stay there for long. I doubt by the end of the break, you'll still be considered initiates. The next level is Padawan. Rosa here is one. Along with a few of the new students to this school. They are learning from those knights or above as you well know. Knights go through trials and train padawans to become a master. While masters are the last rank there are Council masters. We have secured four of us before arriving on this planet, but the two others are unable to be moved from where they're at. At the head of the council is the Grandmaster. Our last grandmaster was Master Yoda. Whether he is alive or not is not known to us. The Grandmaster leads the order, with the master of the order at his side. The master of the order is with us, though most of the time the title would be with that Jedi who was the grandmaster." Plo said.

"Masters, here, there is no Jedi council. We have masters, knights, and padawans." Sun said.

"The order isn't too ordered then." Plo said.

"Yeah." Sun said.

Weeks passed by. As Shaak Ti predicted, none of team RRWBY was considered an initiate by the end of the break. The break had proved a time of training. All of them had learned the most basic force abilities.

Weiss was struggling with the meditation until Shaak Ti sat down next to her. She explained her past, and Shaak Ti sat there, listening to Weiss.

"I see. So that was why you've had trouble opening up. Rosa had a similar struggle to yours through different circumstances. Do you find it hard to feel peace in your life?" Shaak asked. Weiss let out a sigh and shook her head.

"I hear my father mocking me when I fail." Weiss said.

"I see. He has been quite unfair to you, but you understand that. The test you face is letting go of the pain he has inflicted on you." Shaak put her finger on Weiss' scar. "This scar, what do you think of it?"

"I don't really think about it…" Weiss said.

"I would imagine for you; it is a painful reminder about your skills. At the time, you were unable to stop this from happening. But you don't cover it up with makeup. No, you don't have to hide it. Scars are often seen as trophies of battle. Some Jedi are proud of the scars they carry. This is a memory. One that involves pain." Shaak Ti ran her finger down the scar.

"Master… I'm not proud of any of my scars." Weiss said.

"I doubt you would be, but they are a part of you. The spiritual aspect of the force, is it foreign to you?" Shaak asked.

"I wasn't religious." Weiss said.

"One of my fellow Jedi would tell you to open yourself to the living force. He had many faults, but no one could say he didn't love life. He cared about life no matter where one was. He was greatly disturbed by being called a warrior. It shook him that the Jedi were seen only as warriors. Perhaps you feel the same love of life as he did. You just were blinded by the hate of others. Those scars you obtained, you got them after trusting the wrong sort of people, right?"

"Yes." Weiss said.

"You opened your heart so many times, but it was punished. But… now, you are out of that darkness. I can sense you have been struggling with the preconceptions you've inherited, but you've worked at closing them. As you let go of them, you've felt a new light enter you. Hold onto that, and you'll grow strong. Center yourself in that light." Shaak Ti said.

"I'll try." Weiss said. Shaak put her hands-on Weiss'.

"No, there is no try, do or do not. If you allow yourself to try, you allow yourself to fail. Through the force, nothing is impossible." Shaak Ti said.

Ozpin watched the team being trained in the Jedi arts and smiled.

"Headmaster?" Goodwitch asked.

"The light of a Beacon can stretch far, can't it?" Ozpin asked Glynda. She let a small smile cross her face.

"It can indeed. You somehow knew, didn't you?" Goodwitch asked. Ozpin didn't answer. Qrow stepped off the elevator looking at Ozpin looking at the training grounds. He went over and saw the Jedi and team RRWBY.

"At the start of the break, they barely knew what a Jedi was. Now, they're padawans. I wonder how much of their mothers they have in them." Qrow said.

"I wonder what will happen with Miss Reidan. She's seeing their growth. I fear that their advancing so rapidly has the potential to create a crack in their team. I don't know Rosa well enough to say for sure if she's the jealous type. I doubt it, but she should be monitored." Ozpin said.

"What of team JNPR?" Goodwitch asked.

"They've all gone to stay with Miss Nikos' family, have they not?" Ozpin asked.

"They have, but I wonder about them. Or maybe I should say I wonder about you. The chances of finding four force sensitives and putting them on one team on accident are near zero. Professor, did you know they had the potential?" Glynda asked.

"Ruby and Yang were already on the watch list for Jedi. Weiss Schnee was interviewed with the Kyber crystal around her neck, and I studied her lineage. She does have recent Jedi ancestors. With Miss Belladonna, I had a feeling." Ozpin said.

"And with team JNPR? Is there something you're not telling us?" Glynda asked.

"What would I have to hide? I'm no Jedi." Ozpin said with a smile. "Just an old man who's able to recognize patterns and talent."

"I got a lead on who took the clone body and blaster. I believe Ironwood may have taken them. I don't know if he knew the significance of the body, but he understood the blaster. He's had his people start creating large numbers of them. You're going to need to talk to him when he gets here. We need to know what he plans on doing with those blasters." Qrow said.

"I wondered if it was him… but I assumed he would tell me. Maybe he thought it wasn't necessary." Ozpin said.

Qrow looked back at his nieces.

Soon, the end of the break came, tomorrow was the end of the break.

A woman with dark skin, green hair, and red eyes walked down the street. Her white, green, and brown clothes showed off her midriff. She walked down the street and bumped into the shopkeeper of 'Till dust to dawn'.

"'Scuse me, sorry. I'm not really from around here." Emerald helped up the shopkeeper, taking his wallet from him at the same time. "Would you mind pointing me in the direction of this shop?" She handed him a piece of paper asking for directions to Tuskon's book trade. He showed her the directions, and she went on her way. A boy in grey came up next to her.

"I knew you were lost." Mercury said.

"I will seriously pay you to shut up." Emerald said, holding the cash out.

"That's not your money." Mercury said.

"But it can be yours for 5 minutes of silence." Emerald said.

"Mmmm... no deal." Mercury said with a smirk on his face. Emerald sighed and put the cash in her pocket.

"Fine."

"Whatever. You want me." Mercury said, looking at Emerald's physique. She rolled her eyes and continued to walk down the road. Mercury was noticeably a step behind Emerald, looking at her walking.

"I wouldn't fuck you for all the lien on Remnant." Emerald said.

"Who says you have to do it for cash?" Mercury said slyly.

"Alright, Mr. Two pumps." Emerald said. Mercury let out a laugh at that.

"Give me more credit." Mercury asked.

"I give you as much as you deserve." Emerald said.

"So, how much farther?" Mercury asked.

"A few blocks." Emerald said.

"Ugh... this place is so dull." Mercury said.

"Eh, I kinda like it. Tall buildings, diverse culture..." Emerald said

"And nice dopey people who are easy to pickpocket." Mercury said

"That's every city." Emerald said while stopping. "But you haven't found any sluts yet, right? That's why you're so ready to explode."

"Guilty, much like you. Ooh, Emerald! Master thief! Please don't take my money! I barely have enough to get by!" Emerald glared at him and continued onward.

"Cye is doing his part without complaint. Why can't you do yours?" Emerald asked.

"Cye has what he wants. Jedi all around him that he can flex on… have you noticed the increased security?" Mercury said, looking at the tops of the walls. New security guards in white armor, carrying blasters.

"I did, but we need to wait to gather info. Right now, we need to kill a rat." Emerald said.

They were at it, the bookstore.

"What's the plan?" Emerald asked.

"Sorcery to disable. I'll crush his heart." Mercury said. She nodded and entered the shop. The store was full of books, including the rare books. Some of them were dangerous in the hands of untrained people. Tuscan knew too much. He had a slight ability with the force, so he was inducted into the Sith, but was forced as a spy. He barely survived to the stage he was at and could never hope to become a Lord. But he was a collector of Sith artifacts, including holocrons. It would soon become a beacon to all Jedi, the only thing keeping it from discovery being the charm Tuskon unknowingly was. But once he left as he planned to, the Jedi would descend upon the shop. It was Tukson's fault anyway. He was warned against creating his collection.

"Be right there!" Tuskon called out. Emerald gathered the dark energy quickly, due to the dark side in this shop. "Welcome to "Tukson's Book Trade", home to every book under the sun!" Tuskon put the books down and saw who it was. He hesitated. "How may I help you?"

"Just browsing," Mercury said. Mercury used the force to close the blinds and flip the open sign.

"Actually, I was wondering, do you have any copies of "The Thief and The Butcher"?" Mercury asked.

"That's great!"

"Would you… like a copy?" A bead of sweat fell on the counter.

"Is it that hot in here?" Mercury asked.

"I like to keep it warm for the customers." Tuskon said.

"No, just wondering. Oh, oh! What about "Violet's Garden"? In paperback?" Mercury produced the book.

"He's got it. Hardback too" Mercury said, quietly gathering force energy. "Eh, no pictures. Hey! Do you have any comics?"

"Near the front." More sweat.

"Oh, no, wait! What... about... "Third Crusade"?" Emerald asked with a deadly sweet voice.

"Um... I... don't believe we carry that one." Mercury slammed a book closed and turned to Tuskon.

"What was this place called again?" Emerald asked.

"Tukson's Book Trade." Tuskon said, reaching below for a Sith talisman, gathering power, though he had little power compared to these two deadly forces in his store.

"And you're Tukson?" Emerald asked.

"I am."

"So then I take it that you're the one that came up with the catchphrase?" Emerald said. She started gathering the energy where it needed to be.

"Yes."

"And what was it again?" Mercury asked.

"Tukson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun." Tukson said.

"Except the Third Crusade." Mercury said.

"It's just a catchphrase." Tukson said.

"It's false advertising!" Mercury said with false outrage.

"You shouldn't make a promise you can't keep, Tukson. I hear that you're planning on leaving. Moving all the way to Vacuo. Your brothers in the White Fang won't be happy to hear that. And neither are we... You know who we are, don't you?" Emerald said.

"Yes"

"Yet you would betray the Sith. Gather our stuff like it's fucking trading cards." Emerald said. She launched the energy, and four massive black arms of darkness hold onto Tukson.

"The Sith have no need for someone like you, who only knows how to fuck up." Mercury said. "And you were so stupid as to gather all the artifacts under one roof. If a Jedi ever came in here, they'd discover you in an instant. You put in danger all the artifacts, books, talismans, and anything else you stored here. We can't accept a fuckup that big." Mercury reached out his hand, and Tukson felt pressure around his heart. He let out a cry and started to beg for his life.

"Beg for the pain to stop." Mercury said.

"PLEASE!" Tukson said.

"Fine." Mercury clenched his fist, crushing Tukson's heart and lungs. Emerald dropped him and used the force to topple a bookcase on his chest.

"We don't have long to gather out artifacts." Emerald said.

And soon the store was empty of the Sith artifacts. And no one was the wiser about the death.

Team RRWBY and JNPR were in the lunchroom, except for Rosa. She was running late. Nora was flicking grapes over to Yang, as she was catching them in her mouth.

"Sisters... friends... Weiss." Ruby said.

"Hey." Weiss said.

"Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream." Ruby started.

"This ought to be good." Yang said, catching another berry in her mouth.

"A dream that one day, the four of us will come together, as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had... ever!" Ruby said. More berries flying across the tables.

"Did you steal my binder?" Weiss asked.

"I am not a crook." Ruby said. Weiss rolled her eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Blake asked.

"I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!" Ruby said.

"I always kick my semesters off with a Yang! Eh? Guys? Am I right?" Yang said. Looking around, no one like the joke. Nora tossed an apple at Yang's face and booed her.

"Look guys, it's been a good two months and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start back up tomorrow! Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today." Ruby said.

"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss said. Yang tossed an apple, hitting someone they didn't recognize.

"I don't know. I think I might sit this one out." Blake said.

"Sit out or not, I think that however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team! I for one think that..." Weiss was hit by a pie in the face.

Nora threw the pie, sitting down and pointing at Ren who has his head in his palm. Pyrrha's hand is over her mouth and Jaune simply sits staring wide-eyed while covering his ear with his palm.

Neptune was told what happened at the end of the first semester, and everything during the break, including all the new Jedi Padawans. Neptune was shocked to hear about the new Padawans when Rosa caught up with them. She wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"Hey, Sun. I just finished doing some more lightsaber training. Everyone else is in the cafeteria." Rosa said.

"Remember, what I told you is secret. And not a "I'm gonna go tell Scarlet the second Sun turns his back secret", I'm talking secret secret."

"Whoa, chill out, man, okay? I got it." Neptune said.

"Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. Rosa Reidan." Rosa said, holding her hand out.

"Neptune Vasilias." Neptune shook her hand. "I guess you're a Jedi."

"Yeah… I'm a padawan. Are you a…" Neptune put his hand up.

"No, I'm no Jedi." Neptune said.

"Well, let's meet up with the others." Rosa went ahead.

"I just don't want to screw this up, you know? The people here are the coolest! No offense to you guys." Sun said.

"None taken."

"They're just in here. I'm really excited for you to meet them. So, be cool, okay? You're gonna be cool, right?" Sun asked.

"Dude." Neptune gave Sun a smile.

"Your right." They opened the door and saw Rosa lying on the floor, her head in a watermelon. She was out cold.

"What…?" Neptune looked up and saw the lunchroom had become a two-sided battlefield. Team JNPR vs. Team RRWBY, minus Rosa.

"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" Nora sang out.

"Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be delicious!" Ruby crushed a milk carton.

"Yeah!" the girls yelled out.

"Off with their heads!" Nora ordered. More watermelons fly at team RWBY, and Yang knocks a table up, taking the damage. The rinds and meat of the fruit go flying over the table, splashing on the ground. Ruby looked over her makeshift cover and saw the perfect weapon for her sister.

"Yang! Turkey!" Ruby commanded.

Yang then picks up two turkeys from the ground and uses them like gloves to punch through the barrage of watermelons thrown off a table by Nora; upon completion, Blake Belladonna then leaps in front of Yang and picks up two baguettes. Yang then throws her turkeys at Pyrrha Nikos, who dodges out of the way and grabs a single baguette, leaving Jaune Arc to take the blows. Jaune fall to the ground.

Pyrrha and Blake duel with food items, clashing as if it were a combat scenario. The quick movements of the baguettes slamming into each other, threatening to break, but the aura put into them keeping them safe from crumbling. The clash showed how much Blake had improved, but so had Pyrrha. The speed Blake had gained was canceled out by Pyrrha's speed. She wasn't able to get into Pyrrha's defenses. Blake used acrobatics to try to get in Pyrrha's defense, but Pyrrha kept pushing her back. Blake used her clones, but Pyrrha kept the focus on her. She wasn't letting up on Blake. Blake had no choice but to toss the baguette while in midair. Pyrrha stepped back and charged forward at Blake. As soon as she landed, Blake had a baguette slamming into her chest. Blake flew backwards letting go of a baguette. Pyrrha grabbed the dropped loaf and tossed it at Yang.

Yang punched the baguette in half. Then a second one, but the third slammed right into her stomach, sending her flying back.

Ruby grabbed a tray and started skating down the table, slapping a baguette back at Pyrrha. She barely rolled out of the way as Ruby continued to skate. Ren and Nora rushed forward after Pyrrha was flung back. Weiss squirted a whole bottle of ketchup on the ground, causing Ren to slip and crash with a group of tables which are launched because of the impact.

Nora jumped through the tables to grab a metal flagpole and attach a watermelon to it. She goes to attack Weiss but hits Ruby instead, who managed to stand between them to protect her partner from the assault; however, the force of this impact knocks her down. Weiss grabbed a swordfish and engaged Nora in a one-on-one. She tried her best to hold Nora back, but she had become a force of nature, and Weiss was overwhelmed. She was quickly knocked back. She slammed into a pillar with enough force to break it. Ruby used her semblance to grab her partner and got away from the broken pillar.

"WEISS! Don't leave me! Nooo!" Ruby yelled.

Yang rushed forward, grabbed two more turkeys, and rushed forward. Ren grabs leeks and went to meet Yang. Ren was better than before the break as well. But Yang's reflexes were enhanced by the force. It gave her a subtle warning about his attacks, and she was able to dodge most of the hits. But not everyone. She took a few hits but powered through them. Ren was quickly overwhelmed by Yang's reflexes and took a lot of hits before being sent a few meters into the air by an uppercut. He recovers from the strikes and throws his leeks at Yang, but she managed to dodge them and proceeds to finish Ren by jumping high enough to punch him toward the floor, knocking him out. Nora immediately jumped down at Yang, causing her to go on the back foot. Her attacks were more dangerous. She couldn't take one hit, or she was done. She kept stepping back, tossing an occasional punch, but she extended too far and was punished for it with a watermelon to her cheek. She was sent in the air, crashing through the ceiling.

Blake avoids the falling debris and grabs a link of sausages. She whips it at a disarmed Nora, throwing her against two soda machines. They leak cans that Nora throws at Blake, who manages to dodge them all. Her reflexes were enhanced as well. She avoided all the cans thrown at her. Pyrrha looks at the floor, seeing all the cans, and uses her semblance. All the soda cans shoot at Blake, who felt a warning from the force that she had no way to get out of this next attack. Then it came a second later. Dozens of cans slammed into her, and she was carried off the ground, being hit by cans until she slammed into the wall. It broke a moment later, sending her flying behind Ruby. Ruby stood up and looked at team JNPR. This was her one chance. Ruby gathered her energy, using the force to amplify her legs. Team JNPR looked at her as she launched towards them. She let the energy go.

She sped to the other side of the lunchroom, going so fast that she created a vortex in the air, dragging everything towards team JNPR. A second after Ruby got behind them all, everything came crashing against team JNPR. All of them were slammed into the back wall, all the soda cans breaking on contact, leaving team JNPR in a carbonated sugar water mosaic.

Ruby took a breath and rose and gave a thumbs up. Goodwitch thrust open the doors, flicking her riding crop side to side. The lunchroom began fixing itself, but Goodwitch was in no mood for them.

"Children, please. Do not play with your food!" She said then adjusted her glasses. Everyone turned to her, and Rosa finally got up, ripping the watermelon from her face. Seeds and chunks of the watermelon meat hung on her face. She spat out seeds and shook her face. No one could compose themselves as Yang fell through the roof again. Ozpin was a step behind Glynda.

"Let it go." Ozpin said kindly.

"They're supposed to be the defenders of the world." Goodwitch said.

"And they will be, but right now they're still children. So why not let them play the part? After all, it isn't a role they'll have forever." Ozpin said walking away.

Mercury and Emerald were in the white fang hideout, placing the dark side artifacts in carefully prepared containers that would hold the dark side.

"Oh, look! She sent the kids again! This is turning out just like the divorce!" Roman said, wrapping his arms around Emerald and Mercury. He looked at the artifacts.

"No shit. That fucker had them." Roman said surprised.

"But he died begging like a bitch." Mercury said.

"You made him beg?" Roman laughed.

"Spare us the thought of you fucking." Emerald said.

"Jokes, you ever heard of 'em?" Roman said.

"But hey sweetheart, that necklace you're wearing needs to be enchanted. It belongs to a Jedi, and Cye has a plan for her." Roman said. She brought her hand up to her neckline and found the necklace.

"What?" She asked.

"I'm a professional, sweetheart. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something." Roman said. "Now where's that mother bitch?" Emerald tossed his arm off her.

"Don't talk about Mistress Cinder like a common whore." Emerald said.

"Bitch, not whore." Roman corrected.

"My, my, what a wonderful thing to say to a Sith Lord." Cinder said, appearing out of nowhere.

"Don't like it? I'm sorry mighty lord of the Sith. I didn't know the all-powerful dark side had such a soft ego." Roman said. Cinder raised a hand, but the force didn't strangle him.

"While the kids were having fun this entire time, I made sure they couldn't kill me with the bullshit force, so I tracked down an anti-force amulet." Roman tapped his neckline.

"You are smarter than you look." Cinder said.

"Finally, someone notices. These two have no idea what real genius looks like." Roman said. Cinder stepped forward and placed a hand on his chest. Roman smiled as she ripped his jacket off.

"I didn't know this strip club had a touching policy. Never would have come otherwise… oh who am I kidding, I love someone getting rough."

"Don't falter yourself." Cinder said.

"Oh, the humiliation." Roman said. "I think that's extra."

"Why didn't you kill him sooner?" Cinder asked.

"Why the fuck do you think I really got the amulet. If I went in there without this, I'd have been ripped apart. Besides, it takes a long time to steal this much dust." Roman said, showing all the stolen dust around him.

"You're an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski mask." Mercury said. Roman tipped his hat.

"Look around, kid. I've got this town running scared! Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, and we're sitting pretty on an old warehouse with more Dust crystals, vials, and rounds than we know what to do with! Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand master plan, it might actually make my next string of robberies go a little smoother!"

"Oh, Roman. Have a little faith. You'll know what you need when you need to know it. Besides, we're done with Dust." She gripped his mouth. She let go of him.

"Still acting like a bitch!" Roman yelled at her as she left.

"At least I don't act like a whore!" Cinder shouted back.

"What now?" He asked.

"We're moving. Have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you details and coordinates tonight."

"Cye moving with us?" Roman asked.

"No, he has his act to play. Be good, and you'll have every vice you ever wanted." Cinder said.

The Grimm orb moved back in the darkness and faded away.

Author's Notes: Next chapter down. Into Volume 2!

More Jedi, more Sith, more! We're just getting started!

Now to answer some reviews. First two by the same person I assume. First review.

I have no idea what you're talking about with Velvet. And I chose to have Jaune not be a Housewife. How has that made him worse?

Second review.

I can only assume you have no idea what a mary sue is, because having the main character of this cross over being around main characters of one of the series I crossed over?

Here's the definition of a Mary Sue from

1: an author-insert character used for wish-fulfillment and/or

2: an idealized character who is talented at everything and has no meaningful flaws but may have a tragic backstory.

Other common aspects

Overpowered with no explanation. Everyone loves the Sue, with no cause. Highly persuasive beyond belief. No flaws. Anyone who doesn't like the Sue is the villain. "I just want to be normal" syndrome. Knowing info they have no ability to know. Being the most special person ever.

If you think Rosa's a Mary Sue, I can't convince you otherwise. But I won't continue to talk about it. Think what you want.

And for the final review, a shorter response is needed. Again from CT7567Rules.

Thanks for the review. Yes Qrow, Raven and Summer are all force sensitive (Which will come back later.) And there are a lot of Jedi masters who came to Remnant, along with some clones. Like I said, Windu I believe gets way too much hate. He's just doing his job.

Thanks for everyone who reviewed. Please review, favorite, and share.

May the Force be With You
