Light flew by, through the somewhat tinted federation van. Flashes of light, appeared then disappeared within seconds.
No other vehicle presence, drove along or beside the black van as it drive out and away from New York whilst the chaos of riots proceeded in the streets. Shops were boarded and others ransacked, items stolen. Gangs rivelled for street Providence and control. All but one, watching from his private chambers, flicking through the channels. Finally, one channel news attracted his attention. Lowering his hand, still possessed the remote.
Patiently and silently watched the news and noticed the chaos behind the news reporter. The door opened, he continued to watch the news report. The second right hand man, stood beside his master. Silent, patiently waited. The crimelord stood, turned the TV off and walked to the clothes stand. Draping his kimono on then turned on his heel, faced his soldier.
"No one is to intervene, no one is to participate. Everyone is to remain inside and isolate from the infected. Train as normal. Understood?"
"Yes master shredder." he smiled, leafing the way to the corridor outside his private chambers. Followed by his soldier, down the quiet corridor and toward the open space. The inprogress dojo. His soldier walked by whilst he stood in the doorway entrance and admired the progress of his followers commence with thier duties and responsibilities.
Finally, he stepped in the room. Continued until he entered the small padded space. Stood in the centre of the padded floor and instructed.
"Now, let's begin."
Meanwhile, St John's hospital...
The hospital staff was overwhelmed, overcrowded and exhausted. Twenty in ICU care and five dead. Devastated families, broken and confused. The youngest death was a small child, his family devastated, angry and confused. Demanded answers which no doctor could answer or explain. Watching over the heartache of grieving families. Standing outside the room, the grieving patients cuddled as their child laid lifeless and covered in the blanket.
The doctor walked in, giving his condolences. Minutes later, a nurse came to inform her employer of another patient. One of the ICU patients.
"Doctor, the ICU patients has ceased." he sighed frustratedly and exhaustedly. "When?"
"Two minutes ago, doctor."
"Prepare the paperwork and condole them gently."
Elsewhere, secret facility...
The gates waited opened and bishop with his troops stood prepared whilst their special guests of honour were escorted to the facility. Bright high beam lights, almost blinded the waiting troops, as the vehicle entered the gates and closed behind them. The passenger door opened and major smith climbed out.
"We have her, agent bishop and also have four others you'd be interested in."
Raised a brow behind his glasses and said, instructively. "Being them inside. Alive, unharmed."
