Silliness All Around The Theater
"EEEEEEE! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Emma squealed as gloved fingers wiggled into her stomach, but she reached up and tickled Balan's neck, making him squeak and chuckle in amusement before Yuri jumped on his back and reached for his underarms, tickling him there.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Balan laughed out before reaching behind him and rapidly, but gently, squeezing Yuri's lower legs, making her laugh and squirm to get away, which she did after a moment.
Cass quickly tickled Balan's sides, to which he laughed, but he scooped her up and blew a playful raspberry into her neck, making her squeal and laugh before Haoyu and Leo worked together, gently tackling Balan to the floor and going for his stomach, to which Balan arched his back and laughed, reaching forward and tickling Leo's ribs and Haoyu's shoulder blades, making both boys collapse to the floor in laughter before Balan sat up and looked to see all five children were resting on the carpet, a bit worn out, but smiling.
"How are you all feeling, my dears?" The maestro asked them.
Cass giggled. "Good," she said.
"Same here," Emma said, a few giggles escaping her as she sat up.
"Better," Yuri admitted.
"Yeah, me too," Haoyu said.
"Same," Leo said as the children all sat up and Balan used his magic to bring them all closer to him, pulling all five children into a warm hug. They at once snuggled into the warm hug, smiling happily.
"Looks like you won this round, Balan," Emma said with another giggle.
"Not surprising," Leo said with a chuckle. "He is magical after all."
Balan chuckled. "Magical I may be, but you five were able to keep up with me for a bit," he said.
Cass giggled. "You got us good though," she said.
"Next time, we'll win," Yuri said with a determined smile.
"Totally," Haoyu said, grinning.
The maestro laughed warmly. "You five always make my day," he said, hugging them again before getting a playful idea. "In fact, how about a new wager?"
They looked at him curiously. "What do you have in mind?" Leo asked.
Balan smiled before making sure he had a good hold on them and he stood up, carefully setting the five children back on their feet. "Let's play hide and seek," he said. "I'll seek while you five hide."
The kids looked curious. "And the wager?" Cass asked.
"If you kids win, you can tickle me for as long as you please," the maestro said, to which the kids perked up, making him smile again. "However, if I win, you five have to spend time in the new Cheer-Up Room."
The Cheer-Up Room was a new room at the theater created to cheer up anyone who went in there by tickling them silly and everything in the room was created to tickle a visitor silly. The five kids looked at each other and smiled.
"Deal," Haoyu said with a nod.
"Can we hide anywhere we wish?" Emma asked.
"Anywhere in the theater and the various worlds of Wonderworld," Balan said before looking serious. "But take care not to go into Lance's domain or outside the theater."
"Okay," Yuri said with a nod and the other four nodded as well.
The tall being grinned. "Alright, get ready," he said before covering his eyes. "One...two...three...,"
He continued to count as the five kids quickly separated in search of hiding spots, either quietly giggling or quietly laughing as they hoped they would win the game, but had a feeling their tall friend would perhaps win. Not that they minded.
Balan counted up to fifty before uncovering his eyes and looking around before taking a listen, but not hearing anything, which told him the five had found hiding spots. "Ready or not, little ones, here I come," he called out before beginning his search, deciding to not use his magic to find them because that would have been cheating.
He gave it some thought before deciding to look in Yuri's world, seeing as she knew that place best and knew all the hiding spots there.
Taking flight, he entered her world and looked around, searching carefully until he came to one of the big trees that grew in the girl's world and he gazed inside, looking carefully before he spotted a bit of purple and moved closer, grinning as he saw it was Yuri, who was hiding in a knothole. He moved into view, making the girl gasp. "I see you, little Yuri," he cooed, reaching in and his hands gently clamped around her waist before he gently pulled her out from her hiding spot.
The child groaned. "How did you find me?" She asked.
"I took a guess you would hide in your world," he said, nuzzling his forehead against hers, making her giggle. "Let's get you back to the theater. I still have to find the others."
"Good luck," she said with a smile.
Chuckling, he brought her back to the theater and set her down on a couch in the living room. "I'll be back soon," he said before heading out again to find the others.
He decided to search inside the theater this time, heading towards the very back of it and coming across some boxes that contained props and other things. Hearing a shuffling sound, Balan turned his head a little and then smiled, realizing someone was hiding in one of the boxes. He began looking in them before opening one box to find a surprised Haoyu inside. "There you are, Haoyu," Balan said, smiling.
"Aw, man!" The boy said without heat. "I was so sure you wouldn't find me."
Balan chuckled, giving the boy a playful boop on the nose. "Still, a clever hiding spot," he said, picking up the young boy who loved to fly and carrying him to the living room. Yuri was in there reading a book to the Tims when they arrived and Balan set Haoyu down beside Yuri, who was surprised.
"Wow, you found him quick," she said.
The tall being just smiled before ruffling her hair and doing the same to Haoyu, who laughed and tried to fend off their friend's hand. "I'll go find the others," Balan said before vanishing and Yuri continued to read to the Tims with Haoyu joining her.
As the tall being stepped into the hallway, he noticed one of the plants looked a bit different and took a closer look, his eyes widening before he chuckled in amusement. "A good try, Leo," he said, ruffling the boy's hair playfully.
"Hey!" Leo said in playful protest as he climbed out of the vase he had climbed in to. "Shoot, Balan. You're good at hide and seek."
"Why thank you, my boy," the maestro said, scooping him up and bringing him to the others. "Let's see. Cass and Emma are still hiding. I wonder where they could be."
Yuri shrugged. "We all went in different directions," she admitted truthfully.
Balan nodded. "Alright, I'll go find them."
He decided to find Cass next, following a hunch that she was in her world. Entering the door, he gazed around before his eyes landed on the large clocktower and he smiled before flying around the clocktower, peeking through the windows until he spotted Cass hiding underneath a few platforms. Chuckling, he entered the clocktower, going over to where she was hiding.
Seeing him coming her way, Cass moved back a little, but her hand touched a loose gear that was near her and it made a sound against the floor. "Uh-oh," she said to herself before seeing Balan's crouch down and he smiled as he gazed at her.
"Found you, Cass," he said.
She giggled. "Oh, Balan," she said before accepting the hand he held out to her to help her up and they were soon at the theater, to which she joined the other four in the living room and the tall being went to go find Emma.
The green-eyed, blonde-haired girl was in Jose's corn field, looking for a good spot to stay hidden. She then looked up and gasped at seeing Balan flying overhead and she quickly tried to duck down, but Balan paused in his flight, thinking he had seen a patch of blue and he swooped down for a closer look.
Emma quickly tried to run, but Balan was right on her trail before the girl turned a corner and bumped right into the maestro, who chuckled as he caught her. "There you are, my dear," he said.
"Oh, no," she said before giggling. "How many of us have you found now?"
"You were the last one, Emma," Balan said, picking her up before taking flight again. She held onto him until they made it to the theater and the other four kids now looked up at Balan, eyes wide as they realized they had lost the wager.
The maestro chuckled. "Looks like I win," he said, but his voice was gentle and playful. "Still, you five found some good hiding spots."
He then cloned himself while still holding Emma. "Alright then, let's get you five to the Cheer-Up Room."
"Balan, wait!" Leo protested as a clone caught hold of him.
"Eeek!" Yuri squeaked as another clone picked her up. "Hey, put me down!" She protested without heat.
"Wait! I don't need to be tickled again!" Haoyu protested, but the clone scooped him up without trouble.
Cass tried to avoid getting caught, but the clone zipped in front of her and caught her. "Oh, no," she said, squirming to get away.
Balan chuckled. "Come, my dears," he said as he and his clones brought the kids to the Cheer-Up Room, he and the clones setting the kids down before the clones vanished, leaving the real maestro behind. "Go on in."
The kids looked a bit nervous. "Balan, you're...you're going to be right here, right?" Yuri asked timidly.
The tall being smiled. "Never fear, my dears. I would never put you in the Cheer-Up Room and just walk away," he said reassuringly.
"You promise?" Haoyu asked him.
"I promise," Balan said, his hands gently squeezing their shoulders to help them relax before he stood up. "Now then, please leave your shoes and socks at the door."
They did as he asked and he opened the door to the room, which was decorated cozily and looked inviting. The kids looked at each other before Leo took a deep breath and stepped into the room. Emma followed behind him while Cass went in next and Yuri and Haoyu brought up the rear. They all looked around before suddenly, the carpet started to move and the kids began laughing as their feet were tickled.
"QUHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHICK! RUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUN!" Leo managed to laugh out before he got stuck on one of the fluffy couches, the feathers on the couch going for his ribs and sides while the carpet continued 'attacking' his feet.
Emma gasped as she fell against the fluffy curtains at the window and was soon laughing as the curtains feathered her stomach, underarms, and neck, the soft plumes of the feathers tickling like crazy. "EEEE! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She laughed out.
"Whoa!" Haoyu cried out as he was hoisted up by a feathery chandelier, multiple fluffy lights wiggling against his exposed stomach as his shirt had ridden up a little and others went for his feet, making him burst into laughter. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NOHOHOHOHOH!" He tried to protest, but the big smile on his face proved he didn't mind.
Cass was giggling as she ended up next to a beautiful vase with a bunch of feathery plants that wasted no time wrapping around her and tickling her silly. "EEEEEK! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She laughed, squirming like crazy.
Yuri squealed as she was strapped to a feathery chair with one of her feet trapped on a fluffy ottoman that had feathers scribbling all over her foot while her other foot was stuck to the carpet that was tickling it like crazy too.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She laughed out, letting out another squeal as the feathers brushed right underneath her toes.
Balan leaned against the doorframe, chuckling as he saw the five children having fun. Suddenly, a couple of Tims came up and playfully bumped into his back, catching the tall being by surprise and making him stumble into the room himself, landing on the fluffy carpet, which wasted no time in tickling him too.
"AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed out, squirming around but was unable to get up as the feathers tickled him all over.
Air Unicorn, Air Cat, Ladderman, and Jumping Jack came down the hallway, hearing the kids' and the maestro's laughter too, peeking into the room and smiling at seeing all six were being tickled silly. Jumping Jack chuckled. "Come on," he said. "Let's give them a hand."
He jumped into the air and moved fast, heading over to Emma and managing to get her free, to which she held onto him as he jumped away from the curtains and out of the room. Air Unicorn headed in next along with Air Cat and both got Leo and Yuri out of there respectively.
Ladderman used his ladders to form monkey bars and he headed in, reaching Haoyu first while Jumping Jack headed back in and got Cass. After the five kids were out in the hallway, the costumes went in and managed to help Balan to his feet and get him out too before closing the door to the room.
The kids sat down on the carpet to catch their breaths and Balan leaned against the wall, also catching his breath. "You all okay?" Ladderman asked them.
"Looks like you guys got tickled to pieces," Air Unicorn said.
Cass giggled. "A little bit," she said.
Leo chuckled. "Man, that was crazy," he admitted.
"But fun," Emma said, to which Leo nodded.
Yuri giggled. "It definitely lives up to its name," she said.
"No kidding," Haoyu said, chuckling.
Balan chuckled too, standing up and smiling at the children. "I take it you five had fun?" He asked.
The five children went up and hugged him. "Yes," Cass said.
"We always have fun when we come to visit this awesome place," Leo admitted.
"Especially when we hang out with our best friends and one of our favorite maestros," Yuri said.
Balan shrugged, but smiled. "I'm so glad to know you all," he said, hugging them back before noticing they were yawning a little and he felt a bit tired himself.
"Looks like you all could use a nap," Air Cat said.
"We'll keep an eye on things while you guys rest, Boss," said Jumping Jack.
"Thank you," Balan said before looking at the children. "Hold on, young ones."
They clung to him as he transported them all to another room that had pillows and blankets and everything needed for a sleepover. It looked inviting enough to where the five kids began settling down, Balan doing the same before the kids fell asleep, all smiling, making Balan smile before he too fell asleep.
Lance spotted them about half-an-hour later and he smiled softly before heading away, leaving his counterpart and the children to their peaceful dreams.
One day, I'm going to just drown in a pile of feels. XD
