One hour later Ash, Professor Laventon and Akari arrived at the Cobalt Coastlands.
"Wow ! This place looks awesome," said Ash
"Professor Laventon, if you don't mind, can I send all my pokemon here" asked Ash
"Yes go ahead, this place is all yours. Plus,
you can make training ground here, " said Laventon as Ash then sends his pokemon one by one.As soon as Ash pokemon came out.
"Your pokemon never left a chance to amuse me," said Laventon
"Are you excited Ash, " asked Laventon
"Excited for what," asked Ash
"Excited to survey the Cobalt Coastlands, to explore what kind of pokemon are available here. Flying types or water types or a new unknown type of pokemon that we didn't saw before." said Laventon
"Yes" said Ash
"Yes, I am excited too. " said Akari
"Before that, why don't we have some fun" said Ash
"Guys, let's have some fun," said Ash as he ran towards the ocean and jumped in the water. Soon his pokemon also followed him. His Alpha pokemon are looking at Ash and his pokemon.
"Come here guys, those who want to have fun " said Ash to his alpha pokemon. Leafeon and Sylveon looked at Ash and his pokemon before they charged at them and joined him. Stantler, Weavile, Drifblim, Ursaring and others joined as well except Rapidash.
"Ash," said Irida
"Hey Irida, nice to see you here" said Ash
"Are these your pokemon. Most of them are new, I don't know if these pokemon truly exists" said Irida
"Well, I have been a pokemon trainer for a long time , approx six years before I arrived here and these are the pokemon friends that I befriended from different regions." said Ash
"Guys meet Irida, she is my friend from this region." said Ash
"Go and greet her" said Ash as Ash's pokemon greeted her but she is quite afraid of the pokemon.
"You don't have to worry, these are my friends and they won't harm you." said Ash as Garchomp walked towards Irida and then he nibble gently on her head.
"Garchomp how many times I told you not to greet everyone like this." said Ash
"But, she is a friend " said Garchomp
"I know, but people here are not aware of your greeting methods. People here are still trying to understand the pokemon and that's why we are here. So just extends your fins and greet like we do " said Ash
"Sure, I forget about that " said Garchomp as he extends his fin towards Irida.
"You seems nice," said Irida as she hesitated initially but she extend her hand and shook it with Garchomp.
"See, he is very innocent pokemon" said Ash
"You are right," said Irida
"Ash, I have one request," said Irida
"You want to battle me, isn't it" asked Ash
"You are right," said Irida
"Let's go over there," said Ash as they went far away from the camp site.
"Ash, can I battle you as well" asked Akari
"Let's make it two on two. I will battle you one by one " said Ash
"Irida you are first" said Ash as they stood opposite to each other. Irida sends her Glaceon.
"Magby, Houndour and Torchic, any one of you want to battle, " asked Ash
"I want to battle " said Houndour
"Glaceon start with baby doll eyes" said Irida
"Houndour, don't fall in trap and use fire spin " said Ash as Houndour released the tornado that hit Glaceon dealing good damage.
"Glaceon no" said Irida
"Houndour don't give her a chance use fire fang and then use dark pulse and fire spin" said Ash
As commanded Houndour used quick attack to get near Glaceon and the bite on her neck with fire fang and throws her in the air before using dark pulse and fire spin that knocked her out.
"You did great Houndour," said Ash as he gave him his favorite berry as Houndour barked happily.
"Gardevoir use heal pulse on Glaceon " said Ash as Gardevoir appeared in front of Glaceon and used heal pulse making Glaceon feel better.
"I apologize, if I overdid it" asked Ash
"No need for that, me and my pokemon want to get stronger." said Irida
"That's the spirit, send your next pokemon " said Ash as Irida sends her Eevee
"Elekid wanna give a shot" asked Ash as Elekid jumped in front of Ash with fist sparking with electricity.
"Eevee start with quick attack," said Irida
"Elekid dodge and use thunder punch" said Ash
As Eevee charged at Elekid, Elekid prepared thunder punch and jumped before Eevee cpuld hit him. Elekid then landed thunder punch on Eevee's back causing her to crash on the ground. Eeve stood back and then used swift attack which Elekid countered with the thunder bolt. Eevee and Elekid then charged at each other with quick attack. Elekid dodge the attack and used fire punch and then thunder shock.
"Eevee use shadow ball" said Irida
"Elekid counter it with thunder shock" said Ash
After ten minutes, the battle between Eevee and Elekid ended up in a draw.
"You did great," said Ash as he applied potions on Elekid's injuries
"Are you okay " asked Ash
"Yes, I want to train more. Battles are fun," said Elekid
"Okay, but you take rest for today" said Ash
Ash then battled Akari, as Ash used his Blitzle and Koffing. Akari used Pikachu and Clefairy which results into draw.
"We should battle more. In this way, our pokemon will grow strong" said Ash
"Yes, this is a good idea" said Akari
"But I have a doubt" said Akari
"How could we forge a bond with our pokemon so that they won't disobey us and don't hit us" said Akari
"You have to be just be friendly with them. And travel as much as possible, don't force them to battle if they don't want to but don't stop them taking part in training. Through training they will become strong and then they will be self sufficient to protect anyone. " said Ash
"Also repect their choices, if they don't want to evolve then don't force them. My Pikachu and Ivysaur don't want to evolve and I am happy with they way they are. If Ivysaur wants to evolve in future then I won't stop him as this is his wish" said Ash as he saw Irida ipset about something
"Hey Irida, is everything okay.You seems upset about something," asked Ash
"All right , with you I think I can be frank. The thing is that, I can't look weak in front of Diamond's clan leader Adaman or commander Kamado. Sometimes I wonder how I ended up with the burden I bear. " said Irida
"It seems you are worried on how you will fulfill the responsibility of a leader. Don't worry, It happens with me everytime when I think about battles. " said Ash
"You feel that too" asked Irida
"Yes, infact when I started my journey, I had a rival who always put me down but I worked hard and I defeated him. From that day we are best friends and we understand each other. He is now interested more in research than battling. So don't think about results, work hard and believe me, you will see the results of it" said Ash
"I understand, but I am more worried about a warden. Her name is Palina, she is a lovely women and she tends no lady or lord. There is no successor to fill empty slot of late lord's seat." said Irida
"That's a matter of concern" said Akari
"Because of this, many people in Pearl Clan started to question her abilities and worthiness to be a warden. But deep in my heart, I know that she is capable of being a warden" said Irida
"I have a request for you, will you help her in raising the pokemon she take care of in becoming the next lord of the coastlands" said Irida
"I will help her " said Ash
"Thanks a lot ! I can't express my happiness at this moment " said Irida
"Where is she by the way" asked Ash
"You will be able to find the Lina up on the headland" said Irida pointing near the beach
"Everyone, I have a task. You guys stay here and help new team members in move tutoring. Lucario, Floatzel, Infernape, Bisharp, Zeraora, Charizard, Dragonite come with me " said Ash as he recalled the seven pokemon.
"Everyone else enjoy" said Ash as he summons Wyrdeer to meet Palina.
Twenty minutes later Ash reached where Palina is available. As Ash tried to go close, the two Growlithe barked at Ash and attacked him.
"Stop you two" said Palina causing the two pokemon to halt their attack.
"Who are you, and why you came here" said Palina
"I am Ash, the member of galaxy survey corps. Irida asked me to meet you" said Ash
"I heard about you, you are the one who quelled the lord Kleavor and lady Lilligant. " said Palina
"Irida told me everything about you.But howhe died" said Ash
"Few months ago, the child of late lord was drowning in the water. To save his child, late lord sacrificed himself but it left deep scars on the lord's child mind. Considering it's situation, I can't put responsibility on its shoulders" said Palina
"Why you are here" asked Palina
"Well, I am doing a survey of Firespit Island. " said Ash
"Hmm, there are rumors of few shadowy figures spotted on the island. I suggest you should go prepared if you don't want to die early " said Palina
"Don't worry, I have my pokemon with me " said Ash
"Can you show me your pokemon" asked Palina
"Yes" said Ash as he send out his Lucario, Floatzel, Infernape, Bisharp, Zeraora, Charizard,Dragonite and Pikachu joined them.
"You have amazing and unseen pokemon. I never saw these two pokemon " said Palina
" These are Zeraora and Bisharp from land of Unova and Alola " said Ash
"I've never heard about these two places. But I can see you have strong pokemon." said Palina
" What other pokemon you have " asked Palina
"I have hundred and thirty one with me right now, two of them are not here. " said Ash
"Hundred and thirty one, that's quite a good number. " said Palina
"In order to reach Firespit island, you have to take help from Basculegion. There is something strange happening on the Firespit island but then, there's also odd lighting that fall from the rift" said Palina
"Lightning is a sign that Almighty Sinnoh is not happy with us. It seems he wants to pass judgement on us for our wrong doings " said Palina with worried look. "In the past, Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan always conflict with each other on the true side of Almighty Sinnoh, is it a ruler of space or a ruler of time."
"By the way, you can find Iscan on Aipom Hill, just past Ginkgo Landing." said Palina
"Thanks" said Ash
Ash is now running towards the home of Iscan where he lives. Suddenly Arceus Dex started to beep.
"An Alpha Ambipom is here" said Ash as suddenly an nine feet tall Ambipom can be seen running towards Ash. Just before Ash could dodge, Ambipom hit Ash with the fire punch leaving burns on his body.
"Pikachu use thunderbolt " said Ash as Pikachu unleashed the powerful thunderbolt. Ambipom used it's tail to hit Pikachu. Ash sends his Floatzel out to make himself covered in water so that he could be healed from the burns.
Ambipom and Pikachu are having a battle with each other. Ambipom and Pikachu are clashing their tails, thunder tail and iron tail are vlasing with each other. Pikachu then charged at Ambipom with wild charge, and Ambipom used
its tail and grabbed Pikachu and slammed Pikachu on the ground rapidly. Pikachu unleashed its thunderbolt at full power which
made Ambipom release him.
"Now use giga impact " said Ash as Pikachu used full power giga impact that dealt good damaged and paralyzed Ambipom. Pikachu then used iron smash on Ambipom causing it to faint immediately. Ash then captured Ambipom successfully.
"Another new friend," said Ash as he picks pokeball.
"What a wonderful capture," said the familiar voice.
"Volo, what are you doing here" asked Ash
"I was just exploring this place for rare items. I saw you battling the alpha pokemon." said Volo
After meeting with the Volo Ash heads towards the Iscan's home.
"Hello ! Is anyone home" asked Ash
"Wait a minute, I am coming " said the voice from inside.Few minutes later, a bald man with diamond clan outfit came out.
"Hi ! I am Iscan, warden to Basculegion. I am from Diamond clan" said Iscan
"Who are you by the way" asked Iscan
"Hi ! My name is Ash and this this is my partner Pikachu. I am a member of Galaxy survey corps and I am here to survey Cobalt Coastlands. Right now I need to go Firespit island, " said Ash
"Ahh ! Member of survey crops, you are becoming popular among the wardens of Pearl and Diamond clan. " said Iscan
"Your sudden visit gave me the heart attack. If you want to visit Firespit Island, you probably need help of Basculegion and for that you need Basculegion's favourite food." said Iscan as his expression changed from happy to sad in a matter of seconds.
"I have the ingredients, but preparing the food I need one pokemon. " said Iscan
"What pokemon," asked Ash
"Its D... Dus... D" said Iscan as he started to shiver in fear
"What happened," asked Ash
"Saying the name of pokemon, make me nervous and fill my soul with fear. This is the pokemon that you can't be named" said Iscan
"Just tell me what pokemon you need. I have few pokemon that may help you" said Ash
"The food of Basculegion should be infused with flavor of Dusclop's dark pulse" said Iscan
"So is it only Dusclop or any other pokemon will work. I have Dusknoir and other ghost types and few pokemon that knows dark pulse" asked Ash
"Dusknoir ?" asked Iscan in confused look
"Dusknoir is next stage of Dusklops" said Ash
"Hmm, I think Dusknoir will work" said Iscan
Lucario come out " said Ash as he closed his eyes and asked Gardevoir to bring Dusknoir with her. Few moments later Gardevoir and Dusknoir appeared in front of Iscan and Ash
"What's this" asked Iscan
"This is Gardevoir and Duaknoir. Both are my pokemon. Dusknoir is the one I caught here in Hissui region. " said Ash
"But how is this so huge," asked Iscan
"This is the alpha one, " said Ash
"An Alpha pokemon, no wonder you are so famous in Hissui" said Iscan. Half and hour later, the favourite food of Basculegion is prepared. After that Ash and Iscan went near the beach where they met with Palina. After Iscan summons Basculegion, Ash gave Basculegion food and then Basculegion gave him the splash plate.
"Now Basculegion consider you as his rider, you will be able to ride him," said Iscan. Just before Ash could move to Firespit island, multiple smoke bombs fall on them causing area surrounding the filled with smokes.
"Who is there, " asked Ash as smoke cleared he could see that bigger Growlithe is missing.
"Oh no, where are the big Growlithe " asked Palina
"Palina, do you have any thing that belongs to him" asked Ash
"Yeah, I have this wooden bone which he used to chew on daily basis" said Palina
"Great " said Ash as he sends the Lucario out.
"Lucario can you trace aura of those two pups from this " asked Ash as he gave bone to him.
"Ash how is this possible," asked Iscan
"You see, Lucario is known for manipulating aura. And I found that he can trace aura of any living thing if he can get any objet belongs to it. When we touch any object, we leave aura signature on the object. " said Ash
"That's amazing" said Palina
Two minutes later, Lucario pointed at the Firespit island.
"Thanks ! You are amazing" said Ash as he recalled the Lucario and sends his Charizard and Dragonite out.
"Guys please give ride to them to Firespit Island" said Ash
"I will stay here with this little guy, Iscan will go with you" said Palina as Ash recalled his Charizard and flew towards the island on Dragonite. Ash and Iscan arrived at the Firespit Island.
"These are those bandits which we encountered Pikachu. " said Ash
"Now evolve you already you pathetic pokemon." said the elder sister as their Gengar launched the shadow ball at the Growlithe.
"Growow ?!" said the Growlithe as it launched flamethrower to destroy shadow ball. Gengar once again launched the shadow ball. Just before shadow ball could hit Growlithe, Pikachu deflected it with the iron tail.
"Who dared to stop us " said Charm
"That would be me" said Ash as he came in front of the two with Lucario and Zeraora.
"Not you again" said Coin as she sends her Toxicroak
"We will defeat you for coming in our way" said
Clover as she sends her Abomasnow
"You know that Abomasnow can't stay for long in volcanic environment " said Ash
"We will defeat you " said Clover as she challenged Ash
"Fine, don't say that I didn't warned you." said Ash as he sends his Charizard out.
"Charizard, activate blaze, then use sunny day and full power inferno" said Ash as Charizard's body glowed red before tail flame got brighter. Charizard then glowed making sunlight shines brighter and then used the inferno. Abomasnow tried to evade the attack, but being a more experienced pokemon, Charizard defeated Abomasnow in one shot.
"You cheated " said Clover
"I already told you that Abomasnow can't stand in harsh environment like this as he is not trained for it. " said Ash as Coin's Toxicroak charged at Ash's Lucario. Ash's Lucario simply launched the most powerful aura sphere that knocked out the Toxicroak in one shot as well.
"I did warn you, didn't I. I had a score to settle with Galaxy team ? All the pain and suffering I experienced after coming from the Kanto region to work, I am going to make you pay for every last slight" said Charm
"So Kanto region does exist here after all" thought Ash
"I am from Kanto region too," said Ash
"It explains why you have Charizard with you. But,even if you are from Kanto, you doesn't stand a chance against me " said Charm as she sends her Rhyperior. Ash sends his Floatzel. The battle between the two pokemon ended quickly with Floatzel defeating Rhyperior.
Charm then sends her Gengar and Ash send his Gardevoir. Gardevoir then defeated Gengar causing Charm to get frustrated.
All of sudden, the small Growlithe arrived at the location and barked at the misfortune sisters.
"No one invited you here, go and leave us " said the Charm but Growlithe was too stubborn to leave his friend.
"Charm we are giving you final warning, give back Growlithe to us or else " said Ash as Growlithe launched flamethrower at Charm which is stopped by Toxicroak that belongs to Coin.
"Growlithe stop ! You can't take down such strong foes" said Palina
"Palina, what are you doing here" asked Ash
"This little Growlithe jumped in the ocean and swam all the way here without thinking about his life. He just wanted to save his friend." said Palina
Soon everyone heard a loud roar coming out from volcano to which small Growlithe responded too. Once again a loud roar heard and little Growlithe responded.Ash recalled his pokemon back as he knows that this is a battle between Growlithe and the misfortune sisters going forward.Soon little Growlithe surrounded in orb of flames and the bright light came out of the flames.
When light faded, flames also disappeared and there is standing Arcanine instead of Growlithe and Arcanine is way too big.
"What ! " said Coin in shock
"How that puny Growlithe evolved " said Clover
"You didn't got that, don't you" asked Ash
"What you mean," asked Charm
"Forcing a pokemon to evolve won't work unless a pokemon wants to evolve to win a battle or they want to save their friends. This little Growlithe showed determination to save its friend and found a courage to overcome its fear and you can see the result " said Ash
Soon a strange lightening fell from above on Arcanine turning it into frenzy.
"What" asked Palina in shock
"Palina, I guess Growlithe is destined to continue the heritage of his father." said Iscan
"Congrats, you have a noble to take care " said Ash
But things go out of hands when Arcanine started to do rampage. Ash, Irida, Iscan and Palina prepared the favourite food of Arcanine in the form of balms. Ash and Pikachu then battled Arcanine and quelled his frenzy successfully.
"How are you feeling now " asked Ash as he gently pet the Arcanine which he liked.
Once Palina and Iscan left the isle, leaving Arcanine to perform its duty. Ash is speaking to Irida.
"Irida, don't underestimate yourself. As I said earlier, everyone fails in their life and what matter is that, how much you try. I know you will become a great leader in your life " said Ash
Later on Ash and Irida left the Firespit Island. Ash then went back to the base on Cobalt coast lands.
"Guys meet new team member, Ambipom," said Ash as his pokemon welcomed the new team member happily.
"Another new pokemon and that too alpha one. You seems to be a Alpha magnet" said Laventon
"Palina told us that you helped her" said Akari
"Yeah, but I didn't helped too much" said Ash
"So let's head back to the headquarters to report the progress " said Akari
"No, actually I want to stay here for next thirty days to train my team" said Ash
"Can I stay with you, I need to train as well" said Akari to which Ash nodded.
