~~Lina's POV~~
The war between the seven kingdoms and the dark elves has raged on for years with no sign of stopping. What's worse is that the dark queen allowed the monsters that she rules over to raid human lands, and rape the woman. I shudder at the very though of it, knowing full well that this village will eventually be their next target. The villagers agreed that finding someone to defend them and this (Pada) village from these monsters was a good idea. The Red Wolves, the mercenary group led by one of the Princess Knights, was my suggestion, the reason for that was because my older sister, Nina, is one of its members.
I was very proud of her, to be able to fight with the queen of mercenaries herself. She even send me a letter a few days ago that she was on her way back home with dozen members of the Red Wolves thanks to the Princess Knight. That action alone told me that she was worried for our safety which I was grateful for.
The sound of the door opening of my family's Inn knocked me out of my thoughts. I turned my attention towards the entrance to see a familiar purple haired young woman standing there with a smile, holding her hands out for a hug. She wore breastplates, very short shorts, and shoulder pads. Overjoyed that it was my big sister, Nina, I ran up to her and gave her a big hug, which she returned.
"Its good to see you, sis," she said ruffling my hair in a playful matter. "I just came here to say hi before I rejoin my girls." She noticed my disappointed face. "Come now, we have to be prepared in case an attack happens."
I asked, "Really? What about the other villages?"
"The Black Dogs that Vault left behind will handle those," she said waving off some hair that was covering left side of her face. Everyone knew that the Black Dog has more members then the Red Wolves, how many I wasn't sure. "So don't worry! Big sis will make sure no harm comes to you or the village!"
"That's great to hear! I have faith in you!" I assured.
"Thanks! Where's Mom and Dad?"

~~Nina's POV~~
The talk between me and my parents didn't take long, they were happy to see me after five years of being away from home, even if me visiting them wasn't the only reason. There was also the group me and the girls met along the way to the village with one of them being unconscious, thankfully the only mage in the Red Wolves was able to confirm she was okay. Of course, they didn't believe me at first that one was a fairy, something even I'm struggling with.
Inviting them inside, the noblewoman, Ayaka I think is her name, explained that they need rooms until their companion wakes up. That surprised even me, nobles are known to be picky of where they stay outside their mansion and their inn was no castle. Then again, she's been kind since we're pick them up, definitely would get along with Prim, the most shy of the seven princess knights, and the goddess reborn.
Sis got excited when she saw the fairy, only for mom and dad to tell her to escort them to their rooms. I returned to my squad once everything was settled, the girls guarding the make shift tent acknowledged me with a salute. I saluted back before walking inside to see Linmay waiting for me. She was wearing a white rode that showed much of her chest with a witch's hat on her head and a metal staff in her left hand.
"Finally," the mage remarked, giving me a death glare. "I thought you said you were just dropping them off and come back..."
Giving her a sheepish grin, "Yeah, my parents haven't seen me in awhile." I give her a mischievous smile. "Were you worried for that Albento guy? Come one, Linmay! You know I'm not that kind of girl, right?"
"I... wh..." she stuttered, only to calm herself. "You know what? Forgot it... let's discuss the plan."
"Fine." I laughed, setting the unfolded map of the village and its surrounding areas on top of the table. "Alright, Linmay, the first order of business is our plan of a attack on Olga's forces," I said pointing to a area on the map. "This cave here is a good spot for their hideout, its big enough to host a lot of monsters. " She pointed to the marked area next. " The best part is that there is a hidden entrance here that leads to the main cave. The plan is to enter it, giving us a element of surprise to strike them down."
The mage of the group hummed before replying, "What if they have monsters guarding that area?"
"Knock them out?" I suggested.
"Can you take this seriously?" Linmay demanded.
"Who said I aren't taking this seriously?" I replied back with a shrug. "I understand that we need to stop these monsters from destroying another village.. and save any prisoners."
Aren't that truth, the reports from the people that managed to survive the monsters raids painted a very horrifying picture. That they were attacking the villages, slaughtering the men, and the woman were used as nothing more then for their pleasure. It was very clear that the Dark Elf Queen is allowing these monsters to attack the kingdom directly instead of them protecting hers.
"The real issue with the plan is if this group of monsters have any pigmen with them," Linmay hummed once again. "I know some spells that can give us an temporary advantage over them."
That make a lot of sense to me, Pigmen were the more largest monsters in the Dark Queen's army. The kingdoms lost soldiers to them that they had to bring them back before more were killed. Hell, we weren't have a chance with them if what Linmay says is right about the group coming to the village.
"Let's move our discussion to our new guests..."

~~Kevin's POV~~
"Hey, the Honorary Knight waking up!"
I slowly woke up to a female voice that I knew I heard somewhere before to see a familiar character staring at me with concern. I couldn't help in gasping in surprise that it was Amber from Genshi Impact. I looked around to see that the fairy like companion that's always with the Traveler was by my side and Hu Tao. There was also the fact that I wasn't in my room based on... wait... did she call me the Honorary Knight?
I looked at the mirror and, sure enough, the female playable protagonist of Genshin Impact was staring back at me. Okay, all this is getting weird... And that's saying something cuz all I remember is going to sleep after playing said game. Am I dreaming or something? It would explain why fictional characters were in the same room as me...
"Are you okay, Traveler?" A concerned Paimon asked.
Hu Tao was now face to face with me with a thoughtful gin before I could say anything, "Hello, whoever you are, I'm Hu Tao, the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor!"
Paimon and Amber looked at the energetic and quirky girl with confusion while I just laid there unsure of what to say. It was clear to me that the Tao senses something off about the Traveler which would make things easier for me. Hell, I can say that she would be the one to believe the whole two sprints things if the protagonist was still there.
Hello? Who are you? May I ask why your in my body? I heard a female's voice say in my head.
What? Oh sorry! I'm as lost as you are! I replied back in a apologetic tone. As for who I am... I think it's best that I say that out loud so everyone knows it.
That seems to be the best option... She simply said.
"So your saying that the one in control is not the Honorary Knight?" Amber's voice broke me out of his conversation with the traveler.
"Whoa, all this sounds so confusing to Paimon..." Paimon replied in her usual way. "How do you know Traveler is not the one in control?"
Hu didn't say anything before pointing at the Traveler's eyes still with that goofy smile on her face. I gave the mirror another look to see that the Traveler's eyes were blown colored and not the usual golden-yellow. It was a sure fire way to tell the difference between myself and herself once I find out how to give back control to her.
"Uh, that's good to know...?" I finally said turning my attention to the group. "Right, my name is Kevin Perez, I have no clue what happened. All I remember is sleeping as I had to get up early for work... which now is pointless cause I'm here."
Paimon floated up to be face to face with me, "What about the traveler? Is she okay!?"
"Whoa! Calm down there! She just talked to me and is just as confused!" I reassured the fairy before turning my attention to everybody else. "Now what is going on? Who are you people? " I point to Hu Tao. "Okay, she gave me her name.."
Actually, I already know their names, but it best that they don't know that.
"Oh, yes, I'm Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. Its nice to meet you.*
"And I am Paimon, Traveler"s loyal guide and companion."
They also mentioned Albedo and Ayaka which means the characters that were here are the ones I used as a team in my game. They were currently walking around the village gathering information about their current location. This told me that I wasn't the only one left in the dark about where we are, then the sound of someone opening the door could be heard. A young lady with very generous assets walked in with a tray of food for five people in her hands.
"Oh, thank the Goddess that your companion has woken up." She said setting the tray of food down on the nearby table.
"Of course the Traveler is going to be fine!" Paimon interjected doing a heroic pose. The young woman gave Paimon an awkward smile, obviously never seen something like her before.
"Uh, Thanks for the meal, miss...?
"Forgive me, my name is Lina and your in my family's inn." Lina answered with a bow.
"I see that that the Traveler has awaken." Albendo said entering the room with Ayaka.
"P-Please enjoy your meal..." she stuttered with a blush before leaving the room.
Why were you sharing at her chest like that? I blushed even more at Traveler's comment.
