It turns out while Metal Team was making their way to the New York Stock Exchange, Anvil Team encountered a makeshift communications outpost in the lobby of Trump Tower while looking for alternate routes to the primary objective. Grizzly and Worm took a peak and found a Russian officer in a dress uniform giving orders to the tech and comms people.
Grizzly thought he and his tools could be useful, so he ordered Thumper to assemble their additional support. With them are four National Guard fireteams and a six man squad from the 19th Special Forces Group.
Together, they took the lobby, captured the Russian officer, and seized all functional tech they can use. The 19th Group squad will make the detainee talk as soon as possible.
Before moving on, Anvil Team provided security for their National Guard support's exfil. Then they continued to the jamming tower on the Stock Exchange with Metal Team.
En route to the New York Harbor after completing the primary objective, Overlord informs Metal and Anvil Team that the captured Russian officer is a Russian Navy captain in charge of an Oscar-II submarine with enough firepower to destroy the Eastern Seaboard. And the 19th Group is about to get the location of the captain's encryption codes for his submarine's full arsenal.
With that, Overlord requests at least one operator from either team to get the codes. Frost, with his weapons, ammo and himself intact, volunteers.
So the DAP drops Metal and Anvil Team off at the New York Harbor, then circles back around with Frost to the 19th Group's location. En route, Overlord gives him a SITREP on the interrogation.
Overlord: Metal 0-4, the high value detainee is singing like a bird. He says the Russian encryption codes are located in three military grade laptops on another makeshift comms outpost, which is in the Stock Exchange Trading Floor. Find them and report back, over.
Frost: Roger that, Overlord. I'll get it done. 0-4, out. Let's hover at 40 feet in Wall Street, I'll rappel down.
DAP Main Pilot: 20 seconds.
Frost: Roger.
20 seconds of flying later*
Frost: Looks like it's back to the Stock Exchange I go.
DAP Main Pilot: Alone? You Deltas are real crazy. Good luck.
Frost: *nods* Stay safe.
Frost rappels down to Wall Street and advances to the Stock Exchange again. This time however, resistance is smaller than before because the previous operation and friendly airstrikes decimated the Russian Army forces in Lower Manhattan.
After dealing with what looks like two recovery teams, because they were carrying bags and cases into the Stock Exchange, Frost finds the three laptops inside Russian Army labeled briefcases. With nothing else to find that resembles a foreign valuable electronic, Frost reports back.
Frost: Metal 0-4 to Overlord, laptops are intact and in my possession. Awaiting further orders. How copy, over?
Overlord: Solid copy, 0-4. Great work. Now hold at the Stock Exchange Lobby. DAP extraction is inbound to airlift you and the tech to the 19th Group. ETA (estimated time of arrival) 30 seconds, over.
Frost: Roger that.
30 seconds later, the DAP returns and lowers its ropes to airlift Frost and the laptops. Even though the extraction is going smoothly at the moment, Frost remains alert and keeps checking high in order to keep the bird and the DAP's main pilot safe.
But the smoothness lasts from the extraction until the meet with 19th Group, who will transmit the encryption codes to CENTCOM (U.S. Central Command) for analysis, simplification and distribution to Metal and Anvil Team, as they will be part of the Oscar-II boarding party. On the way back to the harbor, the DAP engages and destroys four Hinds leaving Manhattan, possibly retreating back to the Russian Navy aircraft carrier in the distance.
