YŪJI

"ANEKI!" Yūji startles awake at the loud shout in her ear before grunting when something suddenly lands on her back. She picks her head off of her pillow and glances over her shoulder. The third eldest of her younger brothers, 13 year old Itadori Aoi, sat on top of her back with a large grin.

"Aoi... what're you doing?" Yūji asks tiredly, words slightly slurring.

"Aneki's gonna be late for school! Aniki asked me to wake you!" Aoi puffs out his chest and points his thumb towards himself. Yūji blinks once before his statement catches up with her tired mind.

"Shit!" Yūji curses under her breath and reaches for her phone on the nightstand. 7:53 AM.

"Aoi, put my lunch in my bag, okay?" Yūji says hurriedly, falling out of the bed. She winces heavily when she stands up, her thighs aching in pain.

"'kay!" Aoi jumps off the bed and runs out of the room, determined to do what his big sister asks of him. Yūji pulls down her shorts as she stumbles towards her closet and grabs an old pair of black, high waisted ripped jeans.

"Hurry. Hurry. Hurry." Yūji winces everytime she jumps up and down as she forces the too small jeans to pull up. She sighs in relief when she finally pulls them up and quickly zips them up before pulling off her shirt.

"Onēchan, I don't know where my kitty socks are!" 9 year old Itadori Eso shouts from his room across from Yūji's.

The pink haired teenager sighs heavily as she puts on a too small bra before ripping a random shirt off of a hanger. "Did you check under your bed?"

"...found them!" Eso shouts after a few moments. Yūji shakes her head with a smile, pulling the red crop top over her head.

"Sukuna, Junpei!" Yūji yelps when she trips and falls. "Did you both get your homework done?!"

Yūji scrambles back up and grabs her phone from the charger before rushing out of her room. She quickly twirls around 11 year old Itadori Chōso when he walks out of the bathroom.

"Yes!" Junpei answers from the living room. The pink haired teenager hears a small curse and rolls her eyes.

"Stop it. Yeah!" Sukuna answers after a moment. Yūji quickly brushes her teeth and her hair at the same time, glaring at the bags under her eyes.

"Ane, it's gonna rain!" 7 year old Itadori Kechizu exclaims, running into the bathroom. Yūji spits out the toothpaste into the sink before giving her youngest brother a smile.

"Thanks for telling me, Kechizu. Can you go get my umbrella and put it in my bag?" Yūji asks kindly before swishing her mouth with water. She grabs a random hair tie and starts to pull her long pink hair into a messy bun, revealing the black shaved sides.

"I want you both to go to school today, Sukuna, Junpei. For an hour, at least please," She says, giving her eldest younger brothers' heads a small look as she walks into the living room. She grabs her bag from Kechizu and ruffles his hair, making him beam up at her.

Yūji leans over the couch and kisses Junpei's and Sukuna's head. "I'll be studying after classes. I might be home later than usual. Take care of the younger ones if I am. Have a good day."

"Bye Yū-nē," Junpei leans his head back to give his big sister a smile. Sukuna grunts and gives her a wave, still staring at the movie on the television. Yūji playfully rolls her eyes before walking to the front door.

"Aoi, remember not to start any fights! Chōso, I want that grade in math to rise. Eso, don't encourage Aoi to start any fights. Kechizu, I want you to text me if anything happens! I'll see you all later!" Yūji shouts as she pulls on a pair of worn sneakers. She grabs the oversized hoodie from the coat rack and pulls it on before opening the front door.

"Bye Ane!" Chōso shouts from the kitchen. Yūji rushes out of the door, cursing slightly when she runs into heavy rain. She pulls up her hood before breaking into a sprint.

"I missed the train. Shit," She mutters under her breath, sliding to a stop at a crosswalk. Yūji almost slips and falls backwards, but quickly catches herself.

She'll make it. Barely.

Yūji gasps in surprise and shock when a car flies past her, drenching her in muddy water from a puddle next to her. She sighs heavily and flings out the sleeves of her already drenched hoodie before brushing back her soaking hair.

Even after barely making on time to her classes and heading to the library to study, it was still pouring outside. It was starting to get cold too and Yūji was not looking forward to the inevitable cold she would get.

"They couldn't have gone any slower?" Yūji thinks to herself, pulling down the strap of her heavy bag and starts walking again. She takes out her phone, ignoring the large droplets of rain falling on the screen, and checks the time. 9:47 PM.

"Of course," Yūji sighs to herself and puts up her phone. She missed dinner. Yūji rubs her eyes and sighs again. A sudden harsh push to her right side almost makes her stumble into the busy street.

"Shit!" Yūji quickly finds her balance again and takes a small step back. She turns, a scowl on her face and mouth open to give whoever pushed her a piece of her mind. Surprise stops her at what she sees on the ground.

Two kids, a boy and a girl who couldn't be older than eight, were sitting on the ground and gripping each other as they stared up at her. Yūji's anger is quickly replaced by worry and dread. The girl had tears streaming down her face and a large knot on the side of her head and the boy had blood streaming from his head, drenching his filthy shirt.

"Oh... are you two alright? What's wrong?" The pink haired teenager asks almost immediately, crouching down in front of the kids. They flinch back, the girl clenching her eyes shut as a whimper escapes her mouth. The dread Yūji feels grows tenfold at the reaction.

"We're–we're fine... miss," The boy speaks up quietly, voice shuddering. Yūji bites the inside of her cheek, glancing at the blood covering half his face. It was still bleeding.

"You don't really look fine..." Yūji trails off, glancing around. The few people out in the rain were paying them no mind.

The pink haired teenager focuses back towards the kids and smiles softly. "Where are your parents? They must be worried sick!"

"We–we don't know... Daddy–Daddy was working and then some stranger–" The girl cuts herself off with a sob "–s-some stranger to-took us and–and they–they hurt Gumi-nī! We–we ran b-but 'm scared!"

Yūji gently shushes the girl, shuffling closer. She slowly places a hand on her small hand and rubs soothing circles over it.

"Shh sweetheart, it's alright. You're safe now–you both are... Let's get you both out of the rain. My home's just up this street," Yūji says softly, pointing towards the crappy apartment complex she lived in. She holds out her hand to the boy, staying still.

The siblings look at each other before looking back up at the pink haired teenager. The boy hesitantly grabs her hand, making Yūji smile brightly. She slowly stands up, helping the two up from the ground. She keeps a tight, but gentle grip on the boy's hand as she starts walking again.

"My younger siblings will still be awake. I'll ask them to stay in their rooms if they overwhelm you too much, okay?" Yūji says while smiling down at the two shivering kids. She looks back up and doesn't notice the wide eyed expressions she receives.

Yūji grunts slightly when the door to the apartment complex doesn't open. She sighs heavily and kicks the right corner while roughly pulling the door at the same time. It opens with a loud screech, making Yūji grin in triumph. She doesn't bother to close the door behind her and slowly walks up the stairs towards her floor.

"Yūji-chan, that you?" The slurred speech of Yūji's neighbor from the floor below hers makes her groan quietly while quickly pulling the kids behind her.

"Drinking rum again, Ogihara-san?" Yūji calls out from the stairs, making the drunk woman laugh loudly.

"Y'know me, Yūji-chan~! I've some lef' if you'd wan' some," The woman states from her apartment. Yūji sighs softly with an eye roll.

"Not today, Ogihara-san." Yūji starts walking again. "Try not to get the emergency services called again. Sasazaki-san just got a new shipment last night and hasn't been able to hide it yet."

"I know, I know, Yūji-chan~! Tell sweet Junpei I's hi!" The pink haired teenager sighs in relief when the drunkard closes her door.

Yūji shivers slightly when she opens the door towards her floor's terrace. The chilly air seeps into her bones and her soaking clothes don't help one bit.

"We're almost there. I don't have the heating turned on, but Chōso, Eso, and Kechizu should have some nice warm clothes that can fit you," Yūji says softly as she stops in front of her home. She sighs in annoyance when she easily opens the door.

"Sukuna, I told you to keep the door locked after six! Ogihara-san is as much of a kleptomaniac as she is a drunkard!" She calls out as she closes the door after bringing the terrified kids inside. She locks the deadbolt before turning the lock in the doorknob.

"Fuck off! I just got back home too!" Sukuna shouts from the kitchen. The 17 year old rolls her eyes before she takes off her shoes.

"Sukuna, we have guests. Can you get the first-aid kit for me?" Yūji changes the subject before she helps the two kids take off their shoes.

"A nice, warm bath will help fight the chill we all have. Do you need any help?" She asks softly, crouching down to be in the kids' line of sight. The girl hesitantly shakes her head, still gripping her brother's hand.

"No, thank you..." The boy says politely. Yūji smiles before gently grabbing their shoulders. She leads them deeper into the apartment, passing by Junpei, Chōso, Eso, and Kechizu focused on a movie. Sukuna walks out of the kitchen with the first-aid kit and an apple in his hand.

He pauses slightly and stares down at the two eight year olds. "More strays? Aneue, we don't run a fuckin' hospital."

"Sukuna." The 15 year old straightens at the cold tone Yūji speaks in before scoffing slightly and turning back around.

"Whatever. I'll leave the kit on the table," Sukuna says with a gruff voice. Yūji sighs heavily before she starts walking towards the bathroom again. She turns on the light and walks over to the tub.

"I'm sorry about Sukuna. He's a bit of a loner and doesn't like it when I bring people home to help patch them up. He's very sweet–in his own way–once you get to know him..." Yūji says softly, turning to give the two kids a smile as she turns on the water.

"Clean towels are under the sink. I'll be back with some clean clothes for you too. Feel free to take as long as you need," Yūji continues while the tubs slowly fills up. "If you need any help, don't be afraid to call for me, okay?"

"Wh-what's your name?" The young girl asks shyly, still somewhat hiding behind her brother. Yūji turns and gives them a bright grin while she turns off the water once it gets full enough.

"Itadori Yūji! You can call me Yū-chan if you'd like! Can you tell me your names?" Yūji keeps her smile on her face as the kids take a small step back in slight fear.

"You don't have to if you don't want to. I don't want to keep calling you boy and girl in my mind. That's just rude!" Yūji says cheerfully. The girl giggles before glancing at her brother. They have a silent conversation before the boy eventually nods silently.

"N-Nobara..." The girl answers quietly. The boy glares up at the pink haired teenager with intense eyes before turning his head with pink ears.

"...Megumi..."

Yūji smiles softly and slowly holds out her wet hand. "Nice to meet you two, Nobara-chan, Megumi-kun."

She stands up and walks out of the bathroom. She turns and gives the two kids a bright smile.

"The door can only be locked from the inside. Come to the living room when you're finished, okay?" Yūji softly closes the door. She leans her head against it with a heavy sigh before she walks into the kitchen.

Sukuna was leaning against the counter, cutting up an apple. Yūji leans against the doorway and watches her younger brother in silence.

"They ran into me down the street. They–I'm pretty sure they managed to escape a kidnapping," Yūji speaks softly, not wanting her other siblings to hear her. Sukuna doesn't look up, but stops cutting the apple.

"You always do this. One of these days, a fucker'll trick you and you'll put yourself in danger," Sukuna snarls quietly, glaring at his older sister. Yūji sighs softly and gives the 15 year old a smile.

"So overprotective, Sukuna. You know I can protect myself," Yūji teases softly, making Sukuna scoff with an eye roll.

"You're too fuckin' trusting," Sukuna retorts with a scowl. Yūji playfully rolls her eyes before walking over.

"I'm sorry for coming home so late. I missed the train. Did everyone have dinner?" She asks, smiling slightly when she hears her other siblings laugh suddenly. Sukuna hums in affirmation, stifling a smile of his own.

"Nothin' left for you though... Sorry, Aneue," The pink haired teenager mutters with guilt in his eyes.

Yūji just smiles and shakes her head. "I had lunch earlier today, and tomorrow I'm able to go get some groceries."

"I'll get the brats in bed after the movie ends. It's almost over," Sukuna says as he walks out of the kitchen. Yūji hums with a small smile before shaking her head.

"Such a tsundere," She thinks fondly and turns towards the first-aid kit. She wants to make sure it has everything she needs.

NOBARA

There was only one way this day could have gotten any worse, but it still sucked. It was her daddy's day off, but something stupid happened and he had to go to work and her big siblings were all at school again. Then, some stupid meanie took her and her Gumi-nī! She wasn't scared by the meanie until he started hurting Gumi-nī... no one's ever been stupid enough to hurt one of them before...

Nobara drops her hands into the warm water, watching it splash. The pretty lady was really nice though. She wasn't mean like some of the women Daddy fell in love with. Most of those women would just ignore her and her siblings, only being nice when Daddy was around. Some were stupid enough to hurt them sometimes. Those women went away really fast. Yū-chan was super nice though, and really caring.

"Almost like Kāchan–" Nobara blocks that thought and starts to furiously scrub her hair. She frowns slightly before dunking her head in the water, she hears Megumi's muffled protest from above.

She rises back up and brushes her dark brown hair out of her face and gives Megumi a small glare. "The pretty lady's been nice and you keep being rude! Stop it!"

"She could be faking it Nobara," Megumi huffs in annoyance. He closes his eyes instinctively when water is splashed in his face.

"Stop being mean or I'll tell Onēchan!" Nobara exclaims with a pout. Megumi rolls his eyes before dunking his head in the water. Nobara huffs before crossing her arms, sinking deeper into the water.

When Megumi comes back up, he stays quiet. He sighs before he starts scrubbing the dirt and grime off his body.

"...she is nice..." The black haired boy admits quietly. Nobara grins triumphantly before there's a knock at the door.

"Nobara-chan, Megumi-kun, I have some clean clothes. I'm going to leave them on the counter, okay?" Yūji opens the door and quickly places some folded up clothes on top of the counter before closing the door again.

Nobara feels her cheeks flush as she remembers her mother. "She's better than Kāchan."

Hey! Hope you like the first chapter of this story! 'tis a bit slow starting, but the next chapter should have it pick up soon!

Also, I don't think it has to be said how much I love female Itadori Yūji. I love normal Yūji, but there's just not enough female Yūji's and that hurts my soul a bit.

I hope you all are enjoying the story so far! Bye.
