Corsica Station: (In French) This is Corsica Station, we have intercepted an encrypted message.
Fregata Official: (In Russian) It's done. The package is en route to London.
Corsica Station: Notify British Intelligence that we have a problem.
October 6th - 00:30:56, as big of a threat Shepherd's inner circle is, Baseplate has to put his investigations aside for a bit, as the Charity Worldwide/Fregata Industries intel is about to get actionable, with their branch in London receiving an incoming shipment. He is already one step ahead of the three-lettered agencies as he deploys Ridley and Red Coat to conduct a CTR (Close Target Recce/Reconnaissance) on the compound and disable its automated sentry gun defenses for the main assault team.
Baseplate: We've hacked the weapons defense system and looped the CCTV system to give you support and to conduct a CTR of the compound. Disable them with the virus and find more things that the turrets can't so that the assault team can insert safely.
Ridley: Roger that, Baseplate.
Red Coat: Roger, Baseplate.
Ridley: First turret is under my control. Go, I'll keep an eye on you.
Red Coat: Got it. Remember, scan only. Don't shoot or the mission's done. I'll do the shooting.
Ridley: Don't forget to clean up too.
Red Coat: A-firm.
Ridley can hack one turret remotely to keep it from shooting him or anyone else. But Red Coat has to get up close to the sentry gun's control box to bring down its firewall and upload a virus that will disable/destroy the weapon indefinitely from the inside, while making it look like it is still operational.
With Ridley providing surveillance with the turrets, Red Coat has his back covered. But he has to kill armed guards and tranquilize unarmed workers by himself as the sentry guns make noise and the mission is dead in the water if the companies are alerted, as they will change the shipment's course.
So with no alarms, Red Coat hijacks turrets, kills armed guards, and knocks out unarmed workers in his way. Cleaning up the bodies in dumpsters and trash bags placed in dark corners.
After clearing the two main warehouses, the recon team moves on the docks. For a shipping and charity company, they take security very seriously as they also have MH-6M Little Birds (gunship variant of the AH-6 Little Bird transports) patrolling the skies and the ground.
Baseplate: Eyes high. We're seeing an attack chopper entering your area.
Red Coat: Roger. I see 'em.
Ridley: Dekko 1 has eyes on. Watch yourself, Red Coat.
Red Coat: Got it.
So Red Coat has to not kill or tranquilize anyone, even if the targets are out of sight or not in the open. Because what the cameras and turrets cannot notice, the choppers and other unknowns will, eventually.
In order to avoid risks, Red Coat has to sneak past patrols, which is easy as they are predictable. The tricky part will be to disable the turrets and not get caught as their users like to stay close to them.
Regardless, with some small distractions to get patrols out of the way and far from the turrets, Red Coat is able hack in and render them useless. Which involves climbing up on roofs and hanging from ceilings to connect to the controls.
Being able to tap into the security cameras in the buildings surrounding the docks, Ridley is able to spot heavy anti-armor and anti-air weapons. He runs it up to Baseplate so he can let the assault team know about them.
The same mission and tactics for the compound's construction site. But there, Red Coat sees that the Charity Worldwide and Fregata Industries workers have dug into a part of the underground subway tunnel system, where they have a train under their control, and two trucks next to it.
Red Coat: Bravo 3 to Baseplate, I'm at the end of the construction site. The workers seem to have breached the underground tunnel system. They already have a train under their control with a couple of pickup trucks over there. How copy, over?
Baseplate: Good copy, Bravo 3. Fregata and Charity Worldwide's operation may be bigger than we thought. Take pictures of it and send them so we can draw up conclusions from here. Over.
Red Coat: On it. Standby.
He takes pictures of their operation and runs it up to Baseplate. The conclusion is that it may be an escape plan or a transportation plan for something big, like the shipment.
With nothing else left to find, Ridley and Red Coat return to base. Seeing as the guards and workers are wearing gas masks, Baseplate believes that a chemical attack could happen, so he advises the assault team to gear up in their CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) equipment.
