Here we are at Chapter 04 of the Synchro Arc. As you probably guessed, we're going to check out the Underground Labor Facility.

Adrianwolf4: Not right away. Reiji's whereabouts will be revealed later. The first person to Duel here will be revealed. That's a surprise for much later. Chojiro won't actually Duel much, the reason will be revealed here.
Now on to the chapter.
Chapter 04: The Underground Labor Facility
Commons Area – Enjoy District
Rua led Yuya, Jonouchi, Asuka and Rio towards a secluded area of the Commons. "These buildings aren't in bad shape." Yuya noticed that some of the buildings and houses looked normal compared to what he has seen so far.
"That's because this area is safe zone. Here the Commons can do whatever they want without Security interfering. However, not just any Common can enter." Rua explained.
"What do you mean?" Jonouchi asked.
"Look up there." Rua pointed upwards. There was a large mansion in the Tops area, but it wasn't as fancy as the rest of the area. "My grandpa lives there and he runs this district. He's one of the few people who wishes for true equality in Neo Domino. Some of the Tops and Commons supported his ideal and they pooled their resources together to buy this area of Neo Domino."
"Your grandfather sounds like a kind man." Asuka said.
"My grandpa was actually born a Common and he fought for equal rights for them. He would challenge the Tops Duelists to Duels and he would win no problem. And that attracted my grandmother's attention. They got married and he became a Top but he still wishes to fight for the Commons and now he's the High Councilor of Neo Domino." Rua revealed. "Unfortunately, even with his position, there's only so much he can do."
"Because of him, Roget?" Yuya asked.
"Yeah…" Rua nodded. "And there are some people who would want to take advantage of the chance and make this land for themselves. That's why only citizens with this." Rua held up a card with the symbol of a handshake are allowed to enter through here.
"But we don't have that card." Rio pointed out.
"You guys are with me, so it's fine. Besides, we've already passed the checkpoint a few blocks back. It's an invisible gate the automatically detects people approaching the district. If someone within 30 yards come close but doesn't have a card, the gates will reveal themselves and prevent that person from entry." Rua explained.
"So, who is this person we're meeting that can help us get into the prison?" Yuya asked.
"Right where that crowd is." Rua pointed to where a bunch of people were gathering around. "Come on!" Rua ran ahead.
"Hey wait!" Yuya said as the others followed Rua.
"Excuse me, pardon me, coming through!" Rua said as he moved up to the front and everyone followed.
They saw a regular Duelist with Gigantech Fighter facing an old man with a large jaw and unshaved beard, and his hair was shorter than his facial hair. His attire was simply an olive-green threadbare robe and brown sandals.
"See that man, in the green robe?" Rua pointed to the old man. "That's Enjoy Chojiro."
"Enjoy Chojiro?" Rio asked.
"You'll see." Rua smiled.
Commons Duelist LP: 1000, Hand: 0
Field: Gigantech Fighter (ATK: 4000, LV: 8). 10 Warrior monsters in Graveyard that gives Gigantech Fighter 100 points per Warrior.

Field: No cards.
"I have the edge Enjoy Chojiro! I'm gonna finally stop your winning streak!" The Commons Duelist declared.
"Good. It's good to have a goal to strife for. In fact, you might achieve it on your next turn." Chojiro smiled. "But for now, let's see what fate has in store for me." Chojiro went into a stance and put his fingers on his deck.
"My turn! Draw!" Chojiro drew his card. "Here it is!" Chojiro held up the card he drew so that everyone could see.
"Here it comes!"
"Enjoy Chojiro's Dueling!"
"I wanna see! I wanna see!"
"Everyone's really excited." Asuka noticed.
"I activate the Magic Card: Super Koi Koi! With this card's effect, I'm able to draw three cards from my deck! And if any of them are Cardian monsters, I can Special Summon them! But if there are any non-Cardian cards, they are sent to the Graveyard and I take 1000 points of damage for each of them!" Chojiro revealed.
"If he draws a single non-Cardian card, he loses automatically." Jonouchi observed.
"It's a very risky move." Asuka commented.
"But…" Yuya got their attention. "Something tells me that won't happen."
"Dueling is life itself! You only live once! There are days when you win, and days when you lose! Lose without shame, win with humility! Simply put…Let's Enjoy!" Chojiro announced.
"Enjoy!" The crowd cheered.
"Enjoy!" Rua cheered too.
"The first one!" Chojiro prepared to draw.
"Koi, koi!" The audience chanted.
"Enjoy!" Chojiro drew his card. "Cardian - Bush Clover with Boar! The second one!"
"Koi! Koi!" Chojiro's opponent was super excited as well.
"Enjoy!" Chojiro drew his card. "Cardian - Maple with Deer! And now the last one!"
"Koi, koi!" Rua, Yuya, Rio, Asuka and Jonouchi chanted.
"Enjoy!" Chojiro drew his card. "Cardian - Peony with Butterfly! I Special Summon all three of them! And due to the effects of Super Koi Koi, their Attack and Defense Points are reduced to 0 and their Level becomes 2!"
Cardian – Bush Clover with Boar (ATK:1000→0, LV: 6→2)
Cardian – Maple with Deer (ATK:1000→0, LV: 10→2)
Cardian – Peony with Butterfly (ATK:1000→0, LV: 7→2)
"But I'm just getting started! From my Graveyard, I activate the effect of Cardian – Wisteria! By banishing this card from my Graveyard, I can double the Level of all my Cardian Monsters on my field!"
Cardian – Bush Clover with Boar (LV: 2→4)
Cardian – Maple with Deer (LV: 2→4)
Cardian – Peony with Butterfly (LV: 2→4)
"Here we go! I'm Tuning my Level 4 Bush Clover with Boar and Maple with Deer with my Level 4 Peony with Butterfly!" Peony the Butterfly turned into four green rings and both Bush Clover with Boar and Maple with Deer went through them and became 8 stars.
"Swift as the Wind! Quiet like the Forest! Invade like Fire! Immovable like the Mountain! Synchro Summon! Level 12! Cardian – Furinkazan (ATK: 5000, LV: 12)!" Chojiro summoned a warrior with a two-handed sword.
"Battle! Furinkazan, attack Gigantech Fighter!" Furinkazan raised the two-handed sword with one hand and slammed it into the ground creating a burst of fire that charged towards the giant warrior and destroyed it.
Commons Duelist LP: 1000→0
Even though he lost, the Duelist wasn't upset, if anything he was happy. "I can't believe I got to face the Miracle Draw! You are awesome, Enjoy Chojiro!"
"Chojiro! Chojiro! Chojiro!" Everyone in the crowd chanted Chojiro's name.
"Enjoy!" Chojiro shouted at the top of his lungs and everyone cheered.
"He's amazing." Yuya said.
"Right?" Rua smiled. "Enjoy Chojiro was the first Duel King of Neo Domino City. Nobody from the Tops or Commons could defeat him."
"He was?!" Yuya was surprised that there was a king before Jack Atlas.
"Yeah, for ten years, he would try to mend the relationships between the Tops and the Commons. He was especially kind to the children and would teach them to Duel. He would end fights by telling them that Dueling is a way to form bonds." Rua smiled.
"But as he got older, his strength started to deteriorate so he couldn't endure the Riding Duels of the City. So, he created the Friendship Cup. A Duel Tournament to determine the next king. Anyone, whether they were Tops or Commons were allowed to compete. 500 Duelists participated and coming out on top…"
"Was Jack Atlas." Yuya answered.
"Yeah, Chojiro passed the title of King to Jack and he's been here ever since." Rua finished the story. "Still reminding us that Dueling is about having fun."
Chojiro then saw the group. "Oh, Rua is that you?! It's been a while!" Chojiro approached them.
"Hey, Mr. Tokumatsu." Rua waved.
"Who are these guys? You're new friends?" Chojiro asked.
"Yeah, this is Yuya, Jonouchi, Rio and Asuka." Rua introduced the group.
"Hello." Yuya said.
"Nice to meet new people. Any friend of Rua's is more than welcome to come here." Chojiro said. "So, what brings you here?"
"Actually, we need your help." Rua said.
"Oh?" Chojiro looked at them curiously.
Neo Domino Prison
The gates to the prison opened and the vehicles that Ushio and Mikage were driving entered with the new prisoners.
"Hey, Mikage, looks like you've been busy." Ushio eyed Rin, Yuzu, Serena and Ruri in the back seats.
"So have you I've seen." Mikage smiled. "Did you get the primary target?"
"Nope, but I did get a couple that used weird summoning methods." Ushio answered.
"Let me guess, Fusion, Xyz and Pendulum." Mikage guessed.
"You too, huh?" Ushio chuckled. "Well, hopefully yours didn't try to run away. Hey, I need a gurney!" Ushio called out to some of the guards as he walked to the back of his truck.
Mikage opened the door to her car. "Get out and line up over there." The girls all got out and lined up where Mikage pointed.
"Set your guns to stun, we have a fighter!" A group of officers all pointed their stun guns at the truck, getting the girls' attentions.
"Alright, open it up!" Ushio ordered and the doors opened to reveal Gongenzaka, Sawatari, Dennis and Shun, who was waking up.
"Oh no…" Yuzu couldn't believe that the others were caught.
"Ruri? Ruri!" Shun stood up when he saw his sister in handcuffs.
"Whoa, there boy!" Ushio shouted. "You have two options, you can either walk, or we can wheel you!"
"Get away from my sister!" Shun charged.
"Shun, no!" Ruri cried.
"Stun him!" Shun was tasered and he fell forward. "Get this piece of trash to isolation! The rest of you get out and line up!" Multiple officers grabbed Shun and strapped him to the transport gurney and wheeled him away while the others joined the girls.
"Transporting a total of eight prisoners." Mikage gave her report.
"Arrests confirmed." A guard verified.
"Prisoners?! I'll have you know that I—" Sawatari was gonna argue.
A hologram of a mute symbol appeared over Sawatari's mouth and no sound came out of his mouth. "Hey, it turns out I could've mute him the whole time." An officer said.
"I wish we knew that on the ride over." Another officer was tired of hearing Sawatari's voice.
Another prisoner truck rolled in a good distance away with four men with one of them having dark grey eyes and orange hair restrained by a leather band with twin rings piercing it, as well as several marks on his face, an m and a dot on his forehead, and a full-cheek line and triangle on each side of his face. His ears were also pierced with bolts handing from them.
His clothes were a simple orange shirt and teal pants with knee pads. He also had a brown sleeveless vest over it and elbow-length fingerless gloves, with studded bands strapped around his wrists and forearms, and heavily strapped tan boots.
"Verifying prisoners. Yuzu Hiiragi, Ruri Kurosaki, Serena Andersen and Rin Hogan." An officer verified the girls and the man perked when he heard Rin's name. He looked and saw Rin and, in his eyes, she was a little girl with a pink dress. He broke from the line and ran towards them.
"Hey, get back over here!" The man was tackled by two officers, getting the Lancers' attention.
"Get off me!" Crow kicked the officers off him.
"Crow, what are you doing?" One of the other men asked.
"Rin!" Crow shouted Rin's name.
"Huh?" Rin was surprised that that man knew her name.
"You're Rin, right!" Crow shouted. "Rin, it's me, Crow Hogan!" Security grabbed him again and started dragging him away.
"Crow…Hogan!" Rin's eyes widened. Ever since she learned that she had a surname, she wondered why it was Hogan. Now, this man, Crow, had the same last name as hers. Rin broke the line and ran towards Crow.
"Rin, wait!" Serena shouted.
Rin was tackled by two female officers. "Wait, let me go!" Rin cried as she was being dragged away. "Crow, I don't remember much! What are you to me?!"
"That's right, she was still just a little girl when they took her away." Crow thought. "We're family, Rin! I can prove it! Your favorite treat is chocolate covered bananas! You loved riding on the back of my D-Wheel! I found cards for your deck! It's Wind Witch!" Crow shouted before the doors to the prison closed on him.
"Crow!" Rin cried as the officers threw her back with the Lancers.
"Alright, enough of the drama! Let's go!" Ushio shouted. The girls were taken to one side of the prison while the boys were taken to where Crow was.
Commons Area – Enjoy District
Yuya had shown Chojiro his deck to show proof of other dimensions and different summoning methods. "So, the world is larger than we believed it to be. And this Fusion Dimension, Academia, is turning people into cards regardless of whether they are Duelist or not?" Chojiro asked.
"Yes." Rio confirmed.
"And your friends were taken by Security's Elite Officers and you want me to help you get in and break them out?" Chojiro put his finger on his chin.
"I know it's a lot to ask but…" Yuya was about to make a case.
"Very well. I'll help you." Chojiro agreed.
"You will?" Yuya was surprised.
"However, you have to do something for me first." Chojiro revealed.
"Of course, there's a catch." Jonouchi sighed. "What do you want?"
"I need help fixing my mistakes." Chojiro said.
"Your mistakes?" Asuka questioned.
"Follow me." Chojiro gestured the Dimension Guardians to follow him.
Commons Area – Forbidden Area
Chojiro led the group to a part of the commons where there were multiple danger and warning signs. "So, anyone else noticing the signs telling us to turn away from a place that will probably lead to our impending deaths?" Jonouchi asked.
"Yep." Yuya, Rio, Asuka and Rua answered.
"Oh, good, then we're just gonna keep walking towards it. Excellent." Jonouchi sarcastically stated.
They soon arrived at a junkyard full of trash. "Over here!" Chojiro was at an old-fashioned elevator.
"You sure this can hold us?" Asuka asked as she saw the wood was weathering.
"It can." Everyone stepped on the wooded panel and Chojiro pulled the red lever and they started descending. "So, did Rua tell you about me career?"
"He said you were the first Duel King of Neo Domino for ten years." Asuka answered.
"And that during your time as Duel King you tried to mend the relationships between Tops and Commons." Rio continued.
"But your strength started to deteriorate so you created the Friendship Cup tournament to select a new king." Jonouchi added.
"And the winner was Jack Atlas." Yuya finished.
"That's right." Chojiro nodded his head. "But I didn't create the Friendship Cup just for selecting a new king. I created it for a way that Tops and Commons could see that we're not so different from each other."
"Everything was going great. Everyone cheered for the Duels, they all agreed that Jack would be a great successor and I felt that the future was gonna be bright. But…" The elevator showed an opening and the Guardians' eyes widened.
There were multiple piles of junk everywhere and there were people all trying to recycle the junk. But their skin was pale, their clothes tattered and some were coughing very sickly.
"Wh-What is this?" Yuya trembled.
"The Underground Labor Facility." Chojiro explained. "A garbage dump where those who have broken the law are to do forced labor. Well, only a few of them."
"A few?" Rua asked.
"When the Friendship Cup ended, I wanted to personally thank all of the participants for making it a success. But when I went to their houses, their families said that they never came back after they lost their match." Chojiro revealed.
"Something was wrong, so I went to the council to get some answers. I found out that Roget went to them and he explained that since the Friendship Cup was a huge tournament and that the society of Neo Domino runs on competition, there should be a penalty to those losing. And they agreed to the proposition without notifying me." Chojiro clenched his fists in frustration. "The 499 Duelists that lost in the Friendship Cup are here."
"Horrible…" Rio looked at the poor conditions those people were going through.
"I wanted to do something. I came down here to fight for their freedom, but because of my diplomatic immunity, if I lose, the ones who run this facility would get nothing for their win, so they didn't want to accept my challenges." Chojiro said.
"So, that's why you need us. Four of us don't come from this dimension so we would have the advantage of them not knowing our cards." Jonouchi said.
"Yes. But it's also risky. If you lose, you will be forced to do labor for the rest of your life." Chojiro said as the elevator hit the ground. "This is your last chance to pull out. I know it seems cruel to put your freedom on the line for these people you've never met, but you guys are my last hope to making things right."
"Well, Captain?" Jonouchi asked Yuya. "What do you say?"
"It's risky…and Mr. Tokumatsu is right, we don't know these people." Yuya answered. "But we wouldn't be Guardians if we didn't do everything, we could to protect people from this corrupt society."
"So does that mean…" Chojiro's eyes widened.
"We'll help you." Yuya answered while the others nodded.
"We want the same thing as you Mr. Tokumatsu." Rua said.
"You just keep up your end of the bargain and help us save our friends." Jonouchi pointed at Chojiro.
"Definitely." Chojiro nodded. "Now, let's go."
Underground Labor Facility
"That's right. You could call this place our very own version of Hell. Where those who lose in the upper world end up. Where those who give up end up. Deemed useless, these people have been thrown away. It's a place for those who've fallen."
"But no matter where ya end up, Neo Domino's still a competitive society. That doesn't change, even in this underground facility. Those who lose matches here fall even lower!"
Duel Chaser 227 was on his knees in front of some tough guys with criminal markers and speaking was a dark-skinned man with dark hair which has a blond line of hair running through it horizontally across his head above his ears, which are pierced with multiple rings. He wears a white fur-lined coat over a black collared shirt decorated with purple flower symbols, golden sunglasses and a collection of golden rings, the rings on his index finger being set with red stones. He also wears a blue flower necklace.
"For the sake of Neo Domino, you get to dig, dig, and burrow through all day! Commons will end up living down here sooner or later! And when that happens, you will end up even further underground!"
"I…I refuse!" Duel Chaser 227 argued.
"Excuse me?" The man questioned.
"I…I'm going back to the surface! This time for sure, I'll beat Yuya Sakaki and make it back to the Duel Chasers!" 227 declared.
"And we gave you a chance. If you could've defeated these guys, you would've gone back, no strings attached." The man pointed out.
"P-Please give me another chance! Just one more chance!" Duel Chaser 227 bowed.
"No second chances!" The man kicked 227 away. "If you wanna go back to the surface, you got to start all the way at the bottom! But I should warn you that those at the bottom often destroy each other. It'll be harder for you to even make it back to this spot."
"You order ends today, Gallagher!" The man, known as Gallagher turned to see Chojiro and the Dimension Guardians.
"Oh, Enjoy Chojiro? What an honor!" Gallagher smiled. "But you know the rules, unless we get something in return, you can't Duel us."
"That's why we're here." Yuya spoke.
"You're…Yuya Sakaki!" 227 was surprised to see Yuya here.
"Oh, so this is the guy who defeated you? In that case, we won't accept you Dueling here? Your Pendulum cards are one of a kind, it would be an unfair advantage." Gallagher pointed out.
"So, you're just gonna be a coward!" Jonouchi argued.
"I'm just following the rules." Gallagher pointed out. "Besides, this guy wanted to throw you into the slammer. Why would you risk your own freedom for a guy who's more than likely to stab you in the back?"
"Even so, no one deserves to live like this!" Yuya declared.
"You…" 227 was surprised Yuya defend him.
"It's not an unfair chance. There are people who have gone back from down here." Gallagher said. "Like Sergey Volkov."
"What did you say?!" Chojiro's eyes widened while Rua trembled.
"Sergey Volkov?" Rio repeated the name.
"Nicknamed the Duelist Crusher, this guy was a true criminal. It took a total of 20 Security Officers to defeat him, and even in the prison, he defeated 30 prisoners, causing him to end up in this underground. But he defeated every person here at least once and was promoted to be Jean Michel Roget's right-hand man." Gallagher revealed.
"Just hearing that name gives me nightmares…" Rua hugged himself.
"But I doubt Sergey would follow even the words of Roget. He's not the type of man to follow anyone's orders." Chojiro said.
"You're right, he's not the type of man…that's why he died." Gallagher said.
"He died?" Asuka questioned.
"You could say that his flesh and bones have been replaced by metal and his brain is now a computer." Gallagher smirked.
"A cyborg?" Rua uttered.
"But enough of that, I'm guessing you want one of these Duelist to take on the warden with everyone's freedom on the line?" Gallagher asked.
"That's right." Chojiro said. "And you will follow through on your bargain."
"Very well, I'll call the warden, so any of those four brats will do, just not the Pendulum user." Gallagher stood up and left.
Underground Duel Field
The Dimension Guardians and Chojiro both stood on one side of the Dueling Field waiting for the warden to appear along with the other prisoners of the Underground Facility.
"Mr. Tokumatsu, are you sure these kids can beat the warden?" A man asked.
"Don't worry, all of them are strong, they can beat that guy down with no problem." Chojiro tried to lift their spirits.
"I hope so…I…just want to see my brother again." A girl had a locket with a picture of her brother, this caught Asuka's attention.
"Argh…why do I have to deal with trash when you could just put them to work?!" Everyone saw Gallagher with a dark-skinned man with brown eyes and bald head covered by a Security cap. He also had a large pointed black beard. He was a very large man making people wonder if he was really muscular or really fat. He wore a dark green Sector Security uniform with sleeves rolled up to his shoulders, a black belt with a rope and deck box attached. He also wore brown arm bands that extend from his wrist to his elbows.
"They haven't lost yet." Gallagher said. "Besides, Roget says that you have to keep up your winning streak and accept any challenge given to you. You wouldn't want to disappoint your boss, do you, Warden Takasu?"
"If you weren't on his good side, I would put you to work myself." Takasu pulled out nose hairs and blew them away.
"That's disgusting…" Rio recoiled.
"So, which of you brats is gonna be my opponent?" Takasu asked. "Make it quick, it's almost lunch time."
"Since it's come to this, I'll…" Jonouchi was about to step forward.
"Wait." Asuka stopped him. "Let me do it."
"Asuka." Rio uttered.
"Something tells me that this guy won't fight fairly. Also, I know what it feels like to be separated from family. Please, let me do this." Asuka bowed.
Yuya smiled and nodded.
"Okay, we leave it to you." Jonouchi agreed.
"You can beat that guy, Asuka." Rio said.
"Let's give everyone hope!" Rua declared.
"Right." Asuka nodded and she took her place on the field.
"You're my opponent? This will be easy." Takasu grinned. "I won't lose to a girl."
This caused a tick mark to grow on Asuka's head. "You shouldn't underestimate girls." Asuka growled.
"Whatever…" Takasu shrugged Asuka off. He turned to a couple of other officers.
"Okay, that's enough." Gallagher said. "You boys, get the chains." Gallagher told two Security Officers.
"Sir!" Both of them attached chains to Asuka's and Takasu's Duel Disks.
"What's with the chain?" Asuka asked.
"Only the winner will be set free." Gallagher said. "Now, begin the Duel!"
"Duel!" Asuka and Takasu declared.

"I'll go first! Draw!" Asuka drew her card. "I summon Blade Skater (DEF: 1500, LV: 4) in Defense Position!" A female monster on ice skates and blades on her wrists appeared. "I end my turn!"
Asuka LP: 4000, Hand: 5
Takasu LP: 4000, Hand: 5
"My turn! Draw!" Takasu drew his card. "I summon Chain Repairer (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)!" A warrior with a large hammer appeared.
"Battle! Chain Repairer, attack Blade Skater!" Chain Repairer jumped and smashed his hammer on Blade Skater destroying her.
"At this moment, Chain Repairer's effect activates! When it destroys a monster in battle, the opponent takes 300 points of damage!" Takasu then smiled. "Even if you a girl, you're trash so you'll be treated like trash."
Asuka felt a jolt. "What?" She then screamed as she was electrocuted.
Asuka LP: 4000→3700
"Asuka!" The Dimension Guardians shouted in worry, while the other spectators were surprised. Asuka stumbled a bit but she kept her footing.
"And this is what I meant when only the winner is set free." Gallagher explained. "The chain that is connected to your Duel Disks will send an electric shock whenever damage is inflicted! And when your Life Points hit 0…"
"You would toy with their lives like this?!" Chojiro shouted in anger.
"This is how Neo Domino has always functioned. Your dream of uniting us is all that it is, a dream." Gallagher laughed.
"I set two cards and end my turn!" Takasu finished.
Asuka LP: 3700, Hand: 5
Takasu LP: 4000, Hand: 3
"My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card. "I summon Etoile Cyber (ATK: 1200, LV: 4)!" A female dancer appeared on the field.
"Next, I set two cards and end my turn!" Asuka finished.
Asuka LP: 3700, Hand: 3
Takasu LP: 4000, Hand: 3
"Another trash monster." Takasu mocked. "My turn! Draw!" Takasu drew his card. "From my hand, I summon Chain Snake (ATK: 800, LV: 3)!" A snake made out of chains appeared.
"I activate Chain Snake's effect!" Chain Snake jumped and started to crush Etoile Cyber, making her fall to her knees.
"Chain Snake becomes an Equip Card on an opponent's monster and decreases its Attack and Defense Points by 800!" Etoile Cyber lost most of her strength.
Etoile Cyber (ATK: 1200→400)
"Battle! Chain Repairer, attack Etoile Cyber!" Chain Repairer jumped into the air and prepared to slam his hammer on Etoile Cyber.
"I activate my Trap Card: Doble Passe!" Asuka revealed her trap. "When my opponent declares an attack, I can change it into a Direct Attack!"
Hearing this, Takasu was shocked before throwing his head back in laughter. "You moron! You'll be taking more damage by changing it into a Direct Attack! But if that's what you want! Then I'll grant your wish!" Chain Repairer went to Asuka.
"Asuka, watch out!" Yuya shouted.
"At this moment, I activate my second Trap Card! Continuous Trap: Spirit Barrier! While I control a monster, I take no battle damage!" A barrier protected Asuka.
"Damn it…" Takasu cursed.
"There's more! Doble Passe allows the monster that was originally targeted to attack you directly!" Asuka revealed. Despite the heavy chain on her Etoile Cyber charged towards Takasu. "When Etoile Cyber attacks an opponent directly, she gains 500 Attack Points!"
Etoile Cyber (ATK: 400→900)
Thought it wasn't at full power, Etoile Cyber managed to strike Takasu and he was electrocuted from his Duel Disk.
Takasu LP: 4000→3100
"What an amazing combo!" Chojiro was impressed.
"She negated the damage and damaged her opponent during her opponent's turn!" Rua smiled.
"That girl is strong!"
"She can beat the warden!"
The underground prisoners started cheering for Asuka while Takasu was recovering from his shock. "Why you little…" Takasu growled. "I end my turn."

"My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card and she smiled. "I summon Cyber Petit Angel (ATK: 300, LV: 2)!" A small pink angel appeared on the field.
"When this card is summoned, I can add one Cyber Angel or Machine Angel Ritual card from my deck to my hand! I add the Ritual Magic: Machine Angel Ritual to my hand!"
"Ritual Magic?" Takasu questioned.
"This is my deck's power! I activate the Ritual Magic: Machine Angel Ritual! I release the Level 4 Etoile Cyber and Level 2 Cyber Petit Angel to Ritual Summon a Level 6 Ritual Monster!" Asuka revealed.
A pedestal appeared from the ground and both Etoile Cyber and Cyber Petit Angel became consumed by flames, while destroying the Chain Snake on Etoile Cyber.
"Angel of light hiding courageous power! Appear before us and lead us to victory! Ritual Summon! Descend! Level 6! Cyber Angel Benten (ATK: 1800, LV: 6)!" Appearing was a woman with long hair wearing blue and black unitard and had two fans attached to each other by a chain.
"Next, I activate the Equip Magic: Ritual Weapon! This gives a Ritual Monster 1500 Attack and Defense Points!" A weapon appeared on Benten's wrist as she gained power.
Cyber Angel Benten (ATK: 1800→3300/DEF: 1500→3000)
"3300 Attack Points!" Takasu exclaimed.
"Battle! Cyber Angel Benten, attack Chain Repairer! Angelic Turn!" Cyber Angel Benten spun around really fast before firing and arrow from her Equip Magic towards Chain Repairer.
"I activate my Continuous Trap: Soul Anchor! This card becomes an Equip Card to Chain Repairer and as long as this card is equipped to him, he cannot be destroyed in battle!" The arrow hit Chain Repairer.
"But you still take damage!" Asuka pointed out and Takasu was once again shocked.
Takasu LP: 3100→1400
"I end my turn!" Asuka finished.
"Alright, Asuka!" Jonouchi cheered.
"She turned the tables!" Rio was in awe.
"The Duel is in her favor!" Yuya smiled.
"Show him the power of the Dimension Guardians!" Rua cheered.
"Amazing, she's winning!"
"We're gonna be free!"
All the prisoners started cheering for Asuka.
"Looks like you've met your match." Gallagher told Takasu.
"Shut up…" Takasu stood back up. "This brat is about to know why I'm the warden of this place of hell."
And here's the end of Chapter 4. The summer is going by really fast and soon it will be the start of another school year, and it's gonna be my first year at an actual full-time position.
The term starts on the first of August, so once that comes, the updates won't be as frequent. I'll try to write as much as I can for now, but once August starts, don't expect a lot.
