I hope you all read the tribute chapter I made to Mr. Takahashi. Such an amazing man with amazing talent, it's sad when someone as great as him dies.

But even though he is gone, his legacy continues on with the fans of the manga, anime and card game. And that includes this story as well.

Now on to the chapter.

Chapter 06: Life or Death Raid Duel

Commons Area – Bruno and the 5D's Shop

The Dimension Guardians arrived at the location that was on the card that Kazama gave them. "Bruno and the 5D's shop?" Yuya read the sign.

"What kind of name is that?" Rio tilted her head in confusion.

"Hm?" Rua looked at the sign with intensity.

"Rua, are you okay?" Asuka asked.

"Something about this seems familiar…" Rua admitted.

"Have you been here before?" Yuya asked.

"No, but the 5D's is familiar…hm…argh, I got nothing." Rua shook his head.

"Too bad there isn't a sign that explains what 5D's is." Rio smiled.

"Or even a person that symbolizes 5D's." Yuya said as a man in the background with black hair with gold highlights and royal blue eyes wearing a long-sleeved blue jacket with amber gems on the shoulder walked past them carrying scrap.

"Well, we won't save the Lancers by just standing here, let's go." Jonouchi said as they all entered the shop.

Inside, there were D-Wheels of different designs as well as different engines out on display. "Wow, with these designs he should living it up in the Tops." Rua looked at the designs.

"Hello?! Anyone here?!" Yuya called out.

"Coming!" A new voice shouted. Appearing behind the counter was a man wearing a white and blue jacket with a yellow trim and front pockets that he uses to carry most of his tools, a blue t-shirt with a large white stripe placed horizontally, blue jeans, and a pair of blue-outlined white sneakers. His hair was unkempt blue and his eyes were indigo. "Hello, welcome to Bruno and the 5D's! How can I be of service?"

"We were told that you could help us. His name was Soichi Kazama. Duel Chaser 227." Yuya answered.

"Ah, so you're the ones who freed the people trapped underground." Bruno smiled.

"How did you know?" Asuka asked.

"Word spreads fast around here." Bruno answered. "And Kazama already called ahead to let me know you were coming. So, you want to break into the prison to save some friends?"

"Yeah, can you help us?" Yuya asked.

"Of course. I'm all for equality in Neo Domino. And the way Kazama talked about you guys, I believe that you all can do it. I will help in any way that I can." Bruno answered.

"Great." Jonouchi cheered while the others smiled.

"Now, the first thing will be your Duel Disks. Please." Bruno patted the counter and all of them gave him their Duel Disks.

Bruno connected them all to his computer and started typing in various codes. "The prison is full of the state-of-the-art security systems. Lasers, cameras, motion sensors. However, there is a weakness, they're all connected, so if you take one system out, the others shut down."

"So, taking out one camera disables the others?" Asuka asked.

"Yes, and the best part is they're all focused on the inside, so getting in is easy but getting out will be the challenge." Bruno continued typing.

"And what about the lasers and motion sensors?" Jonouchi asked.

"Those are mostly located where the prisoners are. You can disable them by breaking into the Central Control Room. I'm downloading the blueprints into your Duel Disks along with alternate routes via the vents, emergency stairs, and sewer systems." Bruno answered.

"So, we can navigate the prison, but there's still one more problem. The actual Security Officers." Rio pointed out.

"Oh, leave that to me." Rua declared.

"You?" Asuka asked.

"I have something special for an occasion such as this." Rua said proudly. "Those guys won't know what hit them."

"There's one more thing to add." Bruno said. "Since you're gonna break out a large group, you're gonna need an escape vehicle. I've added an override code that will allow you take control of one of the transport vehicles."

"But can it outrun a D-Wheel?" Jonouchi asked.

"That's true, they might send a Duel Chaser after you." Bruno was stumped.

"I have a D-Wheel, actually." Yuya admitted. "It's stored in my Duel Disk.

"Really?" Bruno was surprised and looked at Yuya's Duel Disk and saw his D-Wheel. "Oh wow…this was one of the first-generation D-Wheels! Where did you get it?"

"It was locked away in a storage room." Yuya answered.

"The greatest thing about first-generation is that its potential is limitless. Especially the planetary particle." Bruno looked at the engine.

"Planetary particle?" Asuka asked.

"It's a living energy that can read the hearts of people. In other words, depending on the will of the Duelist, it can transform their thoughts and feelings into power. It's also possible to perform a powered up version of a Synchro Summon. Accel Synchro." Bruno explained.

"Accel Synchro." Yuya repeated.

"You know, I could make an engine that can you achieve that? What do you think? Do you want to try it?" Bruno asked.

"Fusion has Contact Fusion, Xyz has Rank Up, but I've never seen an evolved Synchro before…Bruno, I would like you to do that for me. I'll pay anyway I can." Yuya answered.

"You can pay me by succeeding in this operation. Until then, I'll modify your D-Wheel to give you a little more juice. And done." Bruno finished and gave them back their Duel Disks.

"Okay, now we're ready." Jonouchi smiled.

"Not yet." Bruno said.

"There's more?" Rio asked.

"Well, it's not really important but…don't you think it's time for a wardrobe change, Yuya?" Bruno pointed at Yuya's clothes.

Yuya looked down and his shirt was in tatters and his pants and shoes stained from being chased by Security. Not only that he lost his jacket and it was starting to get cold.

"Man, I never realized how bad you looked." Jonouchi pointed out.

"I have some spare clothes that you can have." Bruno said.

"I-I guess so." Yuya nervously chuckled.

"Hey, Bruno. What does 5D's mean?" Rua asked.

"The 5D's mean…D for Devil, D for Destroy, D for Dead Heat, D for Dark and the last one is…Daisuke Bruno (The Bruno Everyone Loves)!" Bruno said happily.

"I can't tell if that's adorable or sad." Asuka sweat dropped.

"I'm joking." Bruno smiled. "It's actually because of this." Bruno typed something on his computer and showed everyone a symbol of a red dragon. "The Crimson Dragon."

"Crimson Dragon?" Yuya asked.

"It's a legendary dragon whose power is divided into five Duelists that are pure of heart. They are called Signers and when all five of them come together, they are capable of creating miracles." Bruno explained.

"Amazing…" Rio admitted.

"Of course, it's only a legend, no one knows if it actually exists." Bruno admitted. "But enough of that, we need to get you changed." Bruno pointed to Yuya.

Security Headquarters

Roget was watching footage from Asuka's Duel against Takasu and made some notes. "Sir, why didn't you send me down there? I could've captured him." Ushio was behind Roget.

"He's not alone, Ushio." Roget pointed out. "And though I am not criticizing your Dueling, you were able to win your Duel against those Lancers due to their lack of teamwork."

"Those five don't seem like a threat to me. I can take them out, just give me a chance!" Ushio said.

"I already have plans in store for them." Roget revealed.

"Plans, sir?" Ushio asked.

"The Commons need to learn what happens to those who decide to oppose the order of Security. I'm commencing Project Infinity Cubic." Roget smiled.

"Whoa, sir. No offense but is that really necessary?" Ushio was surprised. "That project was only meant as a last resort if the Commons were to start a revolution. Using it on five mere Duelists seems overkill."

"Overkill, yes. But it will plant the seeds of doubt into the hearts of the Commons. It will make them hesitate to take actions against us and the Tops." Roget answered. "Besides, don't you want payback against the child." Roget showed Rua's picture.

"I do, but he's still a child, sir." Ushio pointed out.

"Anyone who goes against the society of Neo Domino is a criminal." Roget said. "You haven't forgotten that law, have you?"

"No sir." Ushio answered.

"Good. Now have a group of officers plan an ambush on every exit of the prison. I will be coming over to pay these Lancers a visit." Roget answered.

"Yes sir." Ushio bowed and left.

Neo Domino Prison

All the prisoners were going back to their cells. Yuzu, Ruri, Rin and Serena went back to theirs where Mikage was waiting for them.

"What are you doing here?" Serena glared.

"I heard you two got into a fight." Mikage pointed to her and Ruri. "Normally, I would put one of you into solitary confinement, but the Director wants you all to be kept together."

"The Director?" Rin questioned. "What for?"

"You'll find out when he comes here tonight." Mikage opened the cell door and gestured them to go in. "Until then, we're not taking any chances of another fight breaking out. You on the bench, you by the wall." She told Serena to go to the bench and Ruri to the wall.

Serena sat on the bench and Mikage handcuffed her hands behind her back and moved the chain through a hook to prevent her from leaving.

Mikage then went to Ruri and handcuffed her too and moved the chain through a hook to keep her in place.

"You two as well. Hands behind your back." Mikage instructed Yuzu and Rin and they did as they were told as she handcuffed them behind their backs. She then left the cell and closed the bars.

"I hate that woman." Serena said.

"At least that we agree on." Ruri said.

Outside Neo Domino Prison

The Dimension Guardians approached the wall of the prison where security was the weakest and Yuya was in a new outfit that was an exact replica of what Odd-Eyes Yuya wore. Black shoes with blue streaks and white straps, dark pants, black sleeveless shirt with a red symbol and finally a blue jacket open with a buckled collar.

"I see, you've taken my fashion style." Odd-Eyes Yuya smirked.

"These were the only clothes that fit me." Yuya pointed out.

"You guys ready to do this? Once we go up that wall, we won't be coming back to the Commons anytime soon." Jonouchi asked them.

"I'm ready." Asuka nodded.

"Me too." Rio agreed.

"We're doing this…we're really doing this." Rua was all excited.

Yuya didn't say anything as he walked closer to the wall and looked up. On the other side were his friends. Even though they are strong in their own right, this wasn't Standard.

Jonouchi walked up next to him. "So, are you gonna try and make them smile like your old man?" Jonouchi asked.

"No." Yuya answered. "Dueling with smiles…while there's nothing wrong with thinking that, that's not enough to stop a war. I've realized that you can't make everyone smile. But you can fight to protect the smiles that give you strength." Yuya thought of the smiles of his friends, especially Yuzu, Ruri, Rin and Serena.

Jonouchi smiled. "Yeah, I understand completely. I wouldn't be the Duelist I am today if not for my little sister and my friends. Even though they make fun of me, they're irreplaceable." While his old friends did tease him for relying too much on luck, they still supported him throughout his career as a Duelist, he hoped to see them again once this was all over.

Rio noticed that Rua's arm was shaking. "Are you okay, Rua?" Rio asked.

"Just thinking about what we're gonna do is making me excited. This is my chance to finally make a difference. I can finally be the hero that my sister sees me as." Rua clenched his fist. "And we won't stop here at the City."

Rio smiled as she tied her Resistance Scarf around her wrist. "Yeah, after changing the City. We'll drive Academia out of Heartland."

Asuka pulled on her Dueling gloves and flexed her fingers. "Then we'll stop the Professor and his ARC Area Project."

Jonouchi punched his palm with his fist and grinned. "We'll end the Dimensional War."

Yuya gripped his pendant and held it close to his heart. "And go home with everyone." Yuya grabbed his grappling gun along with the others. "Ready?"

Everyone nodded and fired their grapnels to the top of the wall and they launched themselves upwards.

Neo Domino Prison

A vehicle escorting Jean Michel Roget rolled up at the gates and the officers saluted as he exited the vehicle. "Welcome, sir." Mikage saluted.

"Have you finished what I asked you to do?" Roget asked.

"Yes sir." Mikage nodded. "Everything is ready."

"Excellent." Roget smiled. "Now then, let's speak to these Lancers." Roget walked inside the prison with Mikage beside him.

At that moment, the Dimension Guardians arrived on top of the wall just as the lights of the prison were turned on to illuminate the darkness of the night.

"Just as Bruno said, they're all focused on the inside, not on the outside." Jonouchi saw the layout.

"Even so, there are a lot of guards." Asuka looked around and she saw multiple cameras too. "And the cameras are covering every angle."

"If we turn off the cameras first, they'll be on high alert. So, what do we do?" Rio asked.

"Step back, everyone. This is where I shine." Rua smiled.

"What are you gonna do?" Yuya asked.

"Security is about organization, keeping a calm cool head during any situation." Rua started typing in his Duel Disk. "They don't expect anyone to fight back or anyone to ambush them." He then aimed his Duel Disk towards the east section and pulled out a card.

"Deformer Smoker." Rua played the card and a small monster appeared and shrunk down to microscopic size and launched itself to the east courtyard. Rua played another one on the west, then the north and finally the south.

"Now to use the hacking code that Bruno gave us to let us take control of their Real Solid Vision System." Rua searched.

"You're smart for a kid." Jonouchi smiled.

"Yeah, well…ever since one of my friends were turned into a card, I try to do everything I can to screw with Security." Rua answered. "Okay, three, two, one." Rua pressed a button on his Duel Disk and fiery explosions combusted in the courtyard activating the alarms.

"Attention! A fire has formed in the courtyards! All Security please report to the courtyards to contain the flames! I repeat, a fire has formed in the courtyards!" An announcement was made.

The smoke blocked the vision of the security cameras.

Officers came out with the hoses and started blasting water but for some reason that only intensified the fire. "What's going on? It's not going out?!" The fire then melted a camera which in turn shut off all feedback.

"Isn't this a bit extreme?" Rio asked.

"That's why I'm using the Real Solid Vision hack to make it harmless, but they don't know that, and now they're in a panic."

"Which gives us an opening!" Yuya smiled.

"That's our tinkerer." Asuka ruffled Rua's hair and he blushed as he rubbed his nose.

"Alright! Time to put Operation: Rescue the Lancers into action!" Jonouchi raised his fist in the air.

"Yeah!" Everyone raised their fists and jumped down from the wall on the catwalks and ran into the prison while all the officers were distracted.

Neo Domino Prison Security Office

"What do you mean the fires won't go out?!" Ushio shouted.

"I'm sorry, sir. But we can't seem to extinguish them!" An officer responded.

"Director, the cameras are all shut off, we can't see what's going on." Mikage turned to Roget, but he wasn't worried. He was smiling.

"Call in the choppers and have the Lancers, as well as Crow Hogan and his friends ready to be escorted out of the prison." Roget said.

"Where to, sir?" Ushio asked.

"The High Council building." Roget answered.

Neo Domino Prison – Front Entrance

"We better hurry guys." Rua said. "The explosions will only work for another 30 minutes."

"Any idea where the Lancers might be held?" Asuka asked.

"They have to have a record of prisoners that were brought in here." Rua said.

"There's a computer." Yuya leaped behind the desk and started searching. "Come on, come on. Where are you guys?" Yuya kept searching until he found Rin's picture.

"Yes, Rin!" Yuya smiled. He then saw Yuzu, Serena, Ruri, Gongenzaka, Sawatari, Dennis and Shun's pictures. "Okay, their cell is…huh?"

"What's wrong?" Jonouchi asked.

"It says they're in transit." Yuya said.

"I don't like the sound of that." Rio admitted.

"It's not, for you that is."

Everyone turned to see Roget approaching them. "Roget!" Rua exclaimed as everyone prepared their Duel Disks.

"Welcome, Dimension Guardians." Roget greeted. "It's not every day that criminals surrender themselves to Security."

"We're not here to surrender." Jonouchi argued.

"Well, one can dream." Roget shrugged Jonouchi off. "But now you have the attention of all citizens in Neo Domino City." Roget snapped his fingers and a screen appeared showing a woman with long blonde hair wearing a red jacket.

"This is Angela with breaking news! Security has reported that a terrorist group, falsely naming themselves heroes, have released the prisoners that were locked underground!" Angel said. This alarmed the Dimension Guardians.

"These 'heroes' the Dimension Guardians were shown defeating highly respected Warden Takasu with unknown cards. We now go live to reporter Melissa Claire in the Tops Area!"

Melissa appeared on the screen. "I am here at Tops Area of the Entertainment District. One of the members of the Dimension Guardians has been identified as Primary Target: Yuya Sakaki. This is the same Duelist that defeated Duel Chaser 227 and is believed to be an accomplice to the Black Rose Witch."

"That scumbag broke my arm!"

"He's a menace to the City!"

"Hero my ass!"

The Tops have all complained about Yuya. The feed then went back to Angela. "Director of Security, Jean Michel Roget has issued a statement providing assurances that the terrorists will soon be brough to justice."

"And so the winners decree." Roget smiled.

"Why you…you won't get away with this!" Jonouchi charged towards Roget and went to punch him only for his fist to go through Roget's face. "What?!"

"Did you really think I would be stupid to come here and face you by myself?" Roget asked.

"Where are the Lancers?! Where are my friends?!" Yuya demanded.

"They are currently be escorted to the roof and being brought before the High Council for a trial." Roget answered. "Better hurry if you want to see them again." Roget disappeared.

"That bastard!" Rio shouted in anger.

"He knew we were coming…he knew it all along!" Asuka kicked a chair.

"Wait guys." Yuya spoke. "We haven't lost yet. Sure, the Tops don't like us, but the Commons are a different story."

"But they won't even listen to them." Rua pointed out.

"Maybe not, but they'll listen to winners. If we can show them that we're much better than Roget, then they'll have to listen to us." Yuya said.

"Win at their own game." Jonouchi smiled. "I like it, let's do it!"

"Then we need to head to the roof." Rua said. "The only way to access the High Council building is via air travel. And with the courtyards still burning…"

"They have to go to the roof." Asuka smiled.

"Let's go!" Yuya said.

Neo Domino Prison – Rooftop

"Keep it moving!" Ushio shouted as he pushed Shun into the elevator where Yuzu, Ruri, Rin, Serena, Gongenzaka, Sawatari, Dennis, Crow and his friends, Shinji, Damon and Tony were waiting.

"Where are you taking us?" Rin asked.

"You've been summoned by the council. They will determine your punishment." Mikage answered as the elevators closed and it went up.

"Who's the council?" Gongenzaka asked.

"They're the five most powerful people of Neo Domino City." Crow answered. "They're in charge of making sure that nothing disrupts the flow of the City. They're basically judges and jurors."

"But they rarely offer an audience to anyone." Shinji added. "For them to call us, something must be going on."

The elevator stopped and opened to reveal a prisoner helicopter. "All of you get inside." Mikage ordered as the Lancers and Crow and his friends entered. At that moment, another elevator came up and it opened to reveal the Dimension Guardians.

"Everyone!" Yuya shouted.

"Yuya!" Yuzu shouted.

"Mikage, we have to stop him!" Ushio activated his Duel Disk.

"I know!" Mikage activated hers.

"I won't let you! Red-Eyes!" Jonouchi summoned Red-Eyes. "Dark Flame Shot!" Red-Eyes fired a blast that hit Ushio's Duel Disk.

"Crap!" Ushio quickly took off his broken Duel Disk. Mikage then drew her card to counter.

"Come forth! Abyss Splash!" Rio summoned a warrior with a rod. "Final Blow!" Abyss Splash unleashed a wave of water that hit Mikage, causing her Duel Disk to short out.

Yuya was about to summon Odd-Eyes. "Yuya, above you!" Yugo shouted.

Yuya looked up and saw something coming towards them. "Guys, move!" Yuya shouted as he, Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio avoided a strike from above and standing before them was a giant machine monster.

"What the hell is that?" Jonouchi asked.

At that point, cuffs came out of the ground and they locked around their ankles.

"What?!" Rua tried to move his leg but he couldn't.

The white machine then fired five devices and it hit their chests. "It's not coming off." Rio tried removing the device.

"What is th—" Yuya then felt a sharp pain pierce his skin.

"Argh!" Rua cried loudly as he held his chest.

"Rua…" Asuka grew concerned for Rua since he was the youngest out of the group.

"Hey, what did you two do?!" Jonouchi glared at Ushio and Mikage.

"The Director is going through with it." Ushio felt a little guilty but this was the only way to restore order.

"Ushio, we need to go." Mikage insisted.

"Yeah." Both Ushio and Mikage got in the helicopter and it took off.

"No!" Yuya cried out as his friends were taken away again.

A hologram of Roget appeared before them. "With this, you can no longer escape. If you try, the devices on your chest will fire a bullet through your heart." This shocked all of them. "If you want to save yourselves and go back to your friends, you must defeat this monster in a Raid Duel!"

"Raid Duel?" Yuya asked.

"In this Duel, your opponent will be Machine Imperial God Machinicle Infinity Cubic!" Roget revealed.

"The Duel Monster is our opponent?" Jonouchi asked.

"Yes and no." Roget answered. "I will be controlling the monster. It will have 20,000 Life Points, while the five of you share 4000 Life Points! But in exchange, you all get to share the field and Graveyard, meaning as long as there is a monster on the field, I cannot attack directly. And the turns will alternate like a regular Duel."

"It doesn't matter what your rules are! We're gonna beat you!" Yuya declared.

"That's right!" Jonouchi agreed.

"Don't ever underestimate us!" Asuka shouted.

"We're the real heroes!" Rua recovered from the pain earlier.

"We made a promise to change Neo Domino, and we're gonna keep it!" Rio added.

"WE WON'T LOSE TO YOU!" All five of them declared.

"Very well then." Roget smiled. "I, Jean Michel Roget, sentence you to death! Get them! Machine Imperial God Machinicle Infinity Cubic!"

"Let's go! We'll bet it together!" Jonouchi shouted.

"Raid Duel!" Yuya, Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio declared.

Guardians LP: 4000, (Yuya Hand: 5, Jonouchi Hand: 5, Asuka Hand: 5, Rio Hand: 5, Rua Hand: 5)

"Here's the first turn! Draw!" Roget declared and drew a card. "Field Magic: Fortissimo the Mobile Fortress!" The area transformed into a mechanical fortress.

"This Field Magic can allow any of us to Special Summon a Level 4 or below Machine-type monster from our hand! Using this effect, I Special Summon Machine Imperial Soldier Valor Ein (ATK: 1800, LV: 4)!" A small version of Machine Emperor Valor appeared.

"Now I Normal Summon Machine Imperial Soldier Wisdom Ein (ATK: 1400, LV: 4)!" A small version of Wisdom appeared.

"That monster…" Yuya recognized that monster, it was similar to the one that defeated the girls.

"I set two cards and end my turn!" Roget finished. "Now, who will be first?"

Guardians LP: 4000, (Yuya Hand: 5, Jonouchi Hand: 5, Asuka Hand: 5, Rio Hand: 5, Rua Hand: 5)

"Everyone, let me go first." Yuya said. "If we're gonna defeat this monster, we have to go at full power! Let me set up the foundation so I can give you better options and easier access to your strongest monsters! Please!"

"That's right." Jonouchi smiled. "A leader charges forward in front of his comrades, and gives them the chance to strike!"

"Go all out, Yuya!" Asuka agreed.

"We'll follow your lead!" Rua nodded.

"Start our road to victory!" Rio declared.

"Right." Yuya nodded. "My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "I activate my own Field Magic: Sky Iris!" Yuya activated his card and the field changed.

"Next, I set Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in my Pendulum Scale." Yuya had Odd-Eyes appear in a column of blue light.

"Now I activate Sky Iris's effect! By destroying one card on my field, I can add one Odd-Eyes card from my deck to my hand! I destroy Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to add Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon from my deck to my hand! And when a Pendulum Card on the field is destroyed, it goes to the Extra Deck!" Yuya sent Odd-Eyes to his Extra Deck and added Arc Pendulum Dragon to his hand.

"With the Scale 1 Dragonpulse Magician and the Scale 8 Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya set his scale. Dragonpulse and Arc Pendulum appeared in columns of blue light.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 7! Swing, pendulum of the soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! My comrades!" The giant pendulum swung and it opened a portal and two monsters appeared.

"Revive from the Extra Deck, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! And from my hand, your counterpart, Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Yuya summoned two dragons.

"This is…the Pendulum Summon." Rio was amazed.

"It's so different seeing it live then on TV." Asuka admitted.

"Amazing! You're amazing, Yuya!" Rua got excited.

"Now, get him!" Jonouchi declared.

"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Valor Ein! Spiral Strike Burst!" Odd-Eyes unleashed his roar attack and it destroyed Valor Ein and damaging Machinicle

"Now Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon, attack Wisdom Ein! Spiral Flame of Fantasy!" Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon unleashed his attack and destroyed Wisdom Ein.

"Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon's effect activates! Since it was Pendulum Summoned and it dealt battle damage, the opponent takes damage equal to the Attack Points of the monsters in my Pendulum Scales!" Yuya revealed.

"Dragonpulse Magician has 1800 Attack Points, and Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon has 2700 Attack Points! Therefore, you take 4500 points of damage! Atomic Force!" Phantom Dragon's power increased and it hit Machinicle hard.

Machinicle LP: 18,200→13,700

"Alright!" Rua cheered.

"He depleted more than a quarter of his Life Points!" Rio smiled.

"I set one card and end my—" Yuya was gonna finish his turn.

"At this moment, I activate my Continuous Trap: Recycle Ein! When an Machine Imperial Soldier has been destroyed in battle, during the End Phase it was destroyed, it revives! Return! Valor Ein! Wisdom Ein!" Valor and Wisdom reappeared.

"Also, for every Imperial Soldier revived the opponent takes 400 points of damage!" Roget revealed.

"What?!" Yuya gasped.

"Two were revived so you take 800 points of damage!" Both Valor and Wisdom fired a blast at Yuya and he was blown back hard.

Dimension Guardians LP: 4000→3200

"Yuya!" Asuka cried out.

"Are you okay?" Jonouchi asked.

"I…I'm fine…" Yuya grunted as he sat back up. "But he's serious…he's really planning to kill us."

"And that's not all, Continuous Trap: Revive Drain! When a monster is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, one monster on the opponent's field has their Attack Points reduced! Since I revived two monsters, I reduce Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's and Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon's Attack Points!" Both dragons fell to their knees as they lost power.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum/Phantom Dragon (ATK: 2500→1250)

"I end my turn." Yuya finally finished.

"Fortissimo's effect activates!" Roget shouted. "If the opponent does not have a Machine-type monster on the field, they take 100 points of damage! Now the four of you can share the same pain as your friend!"

A laser from the fortress fired across and it hit all five of them and they all grunted as it hit them.

"My turn! Draw!" Roget drew his card. "Those Pendulum Monsters are intriguing. When destroyed they go to the Extra Deck, allowing you to bring them back to the field with the proper scale. But that doesn't mean they're invincible."

"I summon Machine Imperial Soldier Master Ein (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)!" A yellow machine soldier appeared. "When this monster is Normal Summoned, I can select one card on the field and banish it!"

"Due to Sky Iris's effect, you cannot target Magician or Odd-Eyes cards in my Pendulum Zone." Yuya said.

"Then, I'll target one of your dragons. I banish Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" Master fired two blasts at Phantom Dragon and he was banished. "With this, you cannot bring him back to the field."

"Battle! Machine Imperial Soldier Valor Ein, attack Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Valor Ein charged.

"I activate my Trap Card: Half Unbreak! Odd-Eyes isn't destroyed and the battle damage is reduced in half!" A barrier formed around Odd-Eyes and while it was protected Yuya was still damaged.

Dimension Guardians LP: 3100→2825

"Even if it won't be destroyed, it's still weaker! Go! Master Ein!" Master Ein attacked and more damage was deal to Yuya.

Dimension Guardians LP: 2825→2650

"Finish the assault! Wisdom Ein!" Wisdom Ein shot bullets and one grazed Yuya on his cheek.

Dimension Guardians LP: 2650→2575

The device on Yuya's chest turned red as he fell to his knee and held his cut cheek.

Multiple news helicopters appeared and started filming the Duel. "Ladies and gentlemen of Neo Domino City!" Roget shouted. "This is the punishment for all those who oppose our society! It doesn't matter whether you're a man, woman, or child! Anyone who opposes Security, anyone who opposes Neo Domino's lifestyle…gets death!"

The Dimension Guardians glared at Roget as he laughed with superiority and Machinicle towered over them.

And done. Again, it is sad that we lost a great person like Mr. Takahashi but his legacy will continue to live on in those who love the world that he has created.
