And here is Chapter 08 of the Synchro Arc. Sorry this chapter took a while; I've been contacted by my place of work and told me that I had to attend a training starting next week.
Which means, the updates will now start not being so frequent. I am really sorry about this, but I promise not to forget this story, especially since we're getting to a major part. Maybe I can post one more chapter by Sunday latest, but I can't guarantee anything.

Chapter 08: Protect My First Friend! Black Rose vs Psychic Divine
Neo Domino Airspace
"You got to land this helicopter right now!" Jonouchi shouted.
"I'm sorry, sir. But I cannot obey that command." The pilot answered.
"I'm not asking you again!" Jonouchi threatened.
"Jonouchi, stop!" Asuka pulled Jonouchi back.
"Hey, Rua's Grandpa! Tell your pilot to land the helicopter!" Jonouchi shouted at Godwin.
"He's not my pilot." Godwin answered. "He only answers to the High Council and they wanted to see you immediately."
"But Grandpa, aren't you the mayor?" Rua asked.
"Just because I'm the mayor doesn't mean I have the same powers as those from the Council." Godwin explained.
"But what about Yuya?" Rio asked. "He's part of our group. And the Lancers are his friends, if we show up without him."
I'm sorry, but my hands are tied." Godwin apologized. "For now, just pray that he is okay. Right now, you need to prepare yourselves to explain your actions to the Council."
"Damn it!" Jonouchi punched the wall before sitting down in a huff.
Asuka sat down next to him and looked out the window. "Yuya…please be safe. For all our sakes."
Commons Area – Rose Garden
"Argh…ow…" Yuya winced as he laid on the garden of roses around him. "I don't know what's weirder, the fact that I survived a fall from a helicopter or that none of my bones are broken."
"Definitely the former." Yuya moved his head and he saw the purple helmet man approaching him. "You're just one lucky boy, aren't you?"
"Who are you?" Yuya asked.
"I've been called a lot of things, but different people. But none of those titles matter to me." The man answered.
"But you're a part of Academia…and you have to be high ranking because your uniform." Yuya winced as he tried to sit up.
"I am of a high ranking, and it only took me one day to rise the ranks." The man answered. "But if you really want to give me a name, then you can call me the opposite of a Guardian. Raider." He then put his foot on Yuya's chest, pinning him down.
"Raider…" Yuya grunted as Raider continued to apply pressure on him.
"A person that attacks an enemy in the enemy's territory, and you are my enemy and so is the Synchro Dimension." Raider pulled out a gun. "I could end this right now, but the Professor says that the only true way to defeat you is in a Duel. But that doesn't mean…" He lowered the gun so it touched Yuya's side. "I can't play with you for a bit."
He pulled the trigger and Yuya cried as he felt a sharp pain. "Don't worry, I purposely avoided a vital spot, but consider this your one and only warning. I Duel to the death. So, unless you want to end up like your brothers, you will face me without mercy, without hesitation, you face me with the intent to kill me." Raider walked away. "Until then, I'll wait."
"Argh…he didn't hit anything major but it still hurts. Argh…" Yuya held pressed the side of his stomach hard, so he could stop the bleeding.
He heard footsteps approaching him and he opened his eyes to see a man in a with long brown hair in a black sleeved shirt with a white tie and green vest. "Oh, that looks really painful."
"Help…me…" Yuya grunted.
"I can help you, but you have to do something for me in return." The brown-haired man smiled. "First, let me introduce myself. My name is Divine and like you, I'm sick of this society. That's why I'm raising an army."
"An army?" Yuya asked weakly.
"Yes, they are just like you and me. Psychic Duelists. We have the ability to bring Duel Monster cards to life. Our monsters are real, our magic creates everlasting effects and our traps are able to push even the greatest of Security into a corner."
"But society hates our powers, no they hate us for even existing. But you, you can make us be respected, you can make things right. Join me, and we can take control of this city. We'll put Roget in his place, we'll execute the council and we will provide true equality to all!" Divine declared.
"Forget it…" Yuya grunted. "Taking control, killing people, that's not what it takes to unite everyone. It'll just create more hatred and pain to everyone, including you."
"Is that so? In that case." Divine put on his Duel Disk. "I can't let you stay alive. Psychic Sword!" Divine played a card and a sword materialized and he grabbed it. "Farewell, Yuya Sakaki!" Divine was about to swing down when a powerful vine smacked him away.
"A vine?" He then suddenly felt his side feeling better. Colorful particles of light enveloped him and the wound inflicted by Raider was healed.
"Guess the roles are reversed this time, Yuya." Yuya turned his head to see Aki kneeling next to him.
"Aki! What are you doing here?" Yuya asked.
"This is my garden." Aki answered.
"Oh, crap. I'm sorry." Yuya apologized as he realized that he probably crushed a lot of Aki's roses.
"It's not like you chose to fall on top of them." Aki then draped Yuya's arm around her shoulders and she picked him up. "I'll take you to my house."
"No, you don't!" Divine recovered from the attack. "Fire Ball!" Divine played another Magic Card and fireballs were launched towards Aki and Yuya.
Aki activated her Duel Disk and played a card. "Thorn Wall!" A wall of thorns appeared and blocked the fire. "Give it up, I won't let you hurt Yuya!" Aki declared.
"Then, we'll settle this the old-fashioned way." Divine shuffled his deck and reactivated his gold Duel Disk with red gems.
"Just hold on a bit longer, okay?" Aki set Yuya down against a marble column.
"Aki…" Yuya spoke and held out a card. "I want to fight with you. Please."
"Thank you. Together we can beat him." Aki accepted Yuya's card and put it in her deck and it shuffled. Aki activated her Duel Disk, which was a hybrid model that was purple and a dark red trim, meaning that Aki was also a Riding Duelist.
"Duel!" Aki and Divine declared

"The first turn is mine! My turn! Draw!" Divine drew his card. "I summon the Tuner Monster, Krebons (ATK: 1200, LV: 2)!" A psychic jokester appeared on the field.
"Next, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Emergency Teleport! This card allows me to Special Summon a Level 3 or lower Psychic-type monster from my hand or deck! I Special Summon Silence Psycho Priest (DEF: 2100, LV: 3) from my deck in Defense Position!" An old man wearing white robes and a staff appeared.
"I activate Psycho Priest's effect! Once per turn, I can send one card from my hand to the Graveyard and target one Psychic-type monster in my Graveyard and banish it! I banish the Mental Seeker I just sent to the Graveyard!" Divine banished the tiny monster.
"Why would he want to banish it?" Yuya wondered.
"Now, I'm Tuning my Level 3 Psycho Priest with my Level 2 Krebons!" Krebons turned into two green rings and Psycho Priest went through them and became 3 stars.
My flames of hatred, blazing within the abyss of my heart, become the black raging waves that will overrun this world! Synchro Summon! Appear now! Level 5! Magical Android (ATK: 2400, LV: 5)!" A female Psychic monster with red hair and green and white robes appeared.
"Since Psycho Priest was sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon the monster that I banished! Come back Mental Seeker (ATK: 1000, LV: 3)!" The small Psychic monster appeared.
"And now Mental Seeker's effect activates! When this banished card is Special Summoned, the opponent must reveal the top three cards of their deck. I then choose one and banish it and the rest are shuffled! Now, show me, Black Rose." Divine said.
"Black Rose?" Yuya thought.
Aki showed the three cards. "I banish Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis!" Divine chose the card and Aki shuffled the rest in her deck. "With that card out of the way, you're loop of effect damage is gone. I set one card and end my turn." Divine set a card.
"At the End Phase of this turn, Magical Android allows me to gain 600 Life Points for every Psychic monster on the field. I have two, therefore, I gain 1200 Life Points!" Divine smiled as he gained points.

"My turn! Draw!" Aki drew her card.
"I don't get you." Divine spoke. "You have the same powers as us, the people fear you. Even your own parents are afraid of you!"
"Her parents are afraid of her?" Yuya wondered.
"You would be perfect to join my army, so why? Why do you refuse to take revenge on those who mistreated you?" Divine asked.
"It's true. My parents are afraid of my powers, even I was afraid of my powers when I first awakened them." Aki admitted.
"But Psychic power is more than just creating harm, its power is based on what the user wants! That's why I swore to use my Psychic powers to help others, even if they don't appreciate it!" Aki declared.
"I summon the Tuner Monster, Black Rose Witch (ATK: 1700, LV: 4)!" A small witch with purple hair appeared. "When this card is Normal Summoned, I can draw one card, but if that card isn't a monster, I have to destroy this card."
Aki drew her card and showed it. "I drew the Monster Card: Rose Fairy (ATK: 600, LV: 3)! And when this monster is added from my deck to my hand via Monster, Magic or Trap effect, I can Special Summon it!" Aki special summoned a small pink plant monster.
"I'm Tuning my Level 3 Rose Fairy with my Level 4 Black Rose Witch!" Black Rose Witch turned into four green rings and Rose Fairy flew through them and became three stars.
"Warm flames that engulf the entire world. Gentle-dark flower, set into bloom! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 7! Black Rose Psychic Dragon (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" Appearing was white dragon with red petals and sharp white thorn vines.
"Black Rose…Psychic Dragon…" Yuya saw the dragon. Suddenly, a light came from his deck and he pulled out the card. "Clear Wing…wait, you're back to a Synchro Monster?" Yuya thought Clear Wing had become a Synchro-Pendulum Monster, but now it was back again.
Yuya then felt a pain in his arm. "Ow, what the heck?" Yuya held his arm.
Aki also held her arm. "What is this pain? This never happened before?" She shook her head. "Focus on what's in front of you."
"I activate the Magic Card: Wonder Clover! By sending one Level 4 Plant-type monster from my hand to the Graveyard, one monster on my field can attack twice! I discard Lord Poison!" Aki discarded the card.
"What good will that do? Black Rose and Magical Android have the same Attack Points, they'll destroy each other." Divine pointed out.
"I activate Black Rose Psychic Dragon's effect! By banishing a Plant-type monster from my Graveyard, one monster on my opponent's field loses Attack Points equal to the banished monster's!" Aki revealed.
"What?!" Divine gasped.
"I banish Lord Poison and Magical Android loses 1500 Attack Points!" Aki pointed at Magical Android.
Magical Android (ATK: 2400→900)
"Damn it…" Divine cursed.
"Battle! Black Rose Psychic Dragon, attack Magical Android! Black Psychic Gale!" Black Rose Psychic Dragon fired a mixture of black and light fire that destroyed the android.
Divine LP: 5200→3700
"And due to Wonder Clover's effect, Black Rose Psychic Dragon attacks Mental Seeker! Black Psychic Gale!" Aki attacked the other Psychic monster and Divine suffered damage.
Divine LP: 3700→2300
"I set one card and end my turn!" Aki finished.
"What a waste." Divine spat. "Don't you understand, the world will never accept you for who you are?! You're a monster to them! A parasite on society! And you want to still help those scumbags!"
"She's not a monster!" Yuya shouted. "Aki is…Aki is a beautiful rose." Yuya pulled out the rose he got from Aki when he first arrived in the Synchro Dimension, thought it was crushed.
"That's…" Aki's eyes widened. He still kept it.
"Even though she gets crushed by the people who hate her, she still shows courage to keep helping them. And even if the world doesn't accept her, I do, because Aki is…an irreplaceable friend!" Yuya declared.
"Yuya…" Aki smiled as she wiped a few tears away.

"Then I'll just kill the both of you! My turn! Draw!" Divine drew his card. "I activate the Equip Magic: Premature Burial! I pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon one monster from my Graveyard in Attack Position! Revive! Magical Android (ATK: 2400, LV: 5)!" Divine's Synchro Monster returned.
Divine LP: 2300→1500
"Next, I summon the Tuner Monster, Psycho Commander (ATK: 1400, LV: 3)!" A Psychic monster that resembled a soldier in a tank appeared.
"I'm Tuning my Level 5 Magical Android with my Level 3 Psycho Commander!" Psycho Commander turned into three green rings and Magical Android went through them and became five stars.
Surge, my black flames of vengeance! Synchro Summon! Come, Mental Sphere Demon (ATK: 2700, LV: 8)!" A green and orange demon appeared on the field.
"Next, I activate the Equip Magic: Psychic Sword! If my Life Points are lower than my opponent's the equipped monster gains Attack Points equal to the difference! Your life is 4000 while mine is 1500. That's 2500, but I can only gain a max of 2000." Divine pointed out.
Mental Sphere Demon (ATK: 2700→4700)
"4700 Attack Points…" Aki's eyes widened.
"Battle! Mental Sphere Demon, attack Black Rose Psychic Dragon!" The Demon fired lightning at Black Rose Psychic Dragon and destroyed it. Aki was blown back but she kept her footing.
Aki LP: 4000→1700
"When Mental Sphere Demon destroys a monster by battle, I gain Life Points equal to the destroyed monsters Attack Points!" Divine smiled.
Divine LP: 1500→3900
"Since my Life Points are higher, Psychic Sword's effect doesn't work on Mental Sphere Demon's Attack Points return to normal."
Mental Sphere Demon (ATK: 4700→2700)
"I end my turn!" Divine smiled.
Aki LP: 1700, Hand: 2
Divine LP: 3900, Hand: 0
"Did you see that? This is the power that will put Neo Domino under my control!" Divine declared. "With this power, I'm unbeatable!"
"Despicable." Aki uttered.
"What?" Divine narrowed his eyes.
"You're despicable! You're not looking out for the other Psychic Duelists; you're only looking after yourself! You're just like Roget." Aki said.
"Don't compare me to that man!" Divine shouted. "Just get on with your turn, so I can kill you and Yuya Sakaki!"
"My turn! Draw!" Aki drew her card. "You won't have a next turn!"
"What?" Divine asked.
"I activate my Continuous Trap: Wicked Reborn! I pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon a Synchro Monster from my Graveyard! Revive! Black Rose Psychic Dragon (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" Aki brought back her dragon.
"But Wicked Reborn doesn't allow you to attack with the Special Summoned monster." Divine pointed out.
"I know that. That's why I summon the Tuner Monster, Night Rose Knight (ATK: 1000, LV: 3)!" A small male warrior monster appeared.
"I'm Tuning my Level 7 Black Rose Psychic Dragon with my Level 3 Night Rose Knight!" Night Rose Knight swung his sword before he turned into three green rings and Black Rose Psychic Dragon went through them and became seven stars.
"Red petals that dance in the wind, unleash your beauty and clear away all evil! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Blood Rose Dragon (ATK: 3200, LV: 10)!" A pure red version of Black Rose Psychic Dragon appeared and petals danced everywhere.
"When this card is Synchro Summoned, all cards in our Graveyard are banished and then, if this card used a Black Rose Synchro monster as material, all cards except for this one is destroyed!" Aki revealed.
"What?!" Divine gasped. All the cards in his Graveyard were banished and his monster and set card were destroyed. "Damn it, my monster only negates Magic and Trap effects, not Monster effects!"
"Battle! Blood Rose Dragon! Direct Attack! Blood Rose Gale!" Blood Rose Dragon unleashed a pure red breath attack that hit Divine but he kept standing.
Divine LP: 3900→700
"No bad, but I still have Life Points." Divine said.
"I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Psychic Decision! By opponent has to determine the type of monster card that is in my hand, if they answer correctly, the monster is banished, but if not, I can Special Summon this monster!" Aki played her second to last card.
"Now, Divine, use your Psychic powers to determine the type of monster I have." Aki smiled.
"You know that Psychic powers don't have anything to do with that?" Divine got irritated.
"Seriously, that's kind of lame." Yuya joked.
"Shut up, both of you!" Divine growled. He glared at the card that Aki had in her hand. "I have studied your deck, so this answer is easy. That's a Plant-type monster!"
Aki smiled. "Sorry, but that's wrong. The monster that I have is a Dragon-type!" Aki revealed "Come forth! With your wondrous and beautiful dichromatic eyes, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Aki played Yuya's ace monster.
"What?! Odd-Eyes?!" Divine was shocked before he recalled that Yuya gave her a card before the Duel. "He gave her his ace monster…without hesitation?!"
"It's over, Divine! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Direct Attack! Spiral Strike Burst!" Odd-Eyes jumped in the air and released his breath attack that knocked Divine out.
Divine LP: 700→0
Winner: Aki Izayoi
"I held back, but he'll be out for a while." Aki walked up to Yuya and helped him up to his feet. "But I'm sure this will attract Security."
"I don't we can outrun them." Yuya winced a bit.
"You're not the only one with a D-Wheel." Aki helped Yuya out of the garden to a red D-Wheel that had two blade wings located on each side of the front.
Aki put on her helmet that covered her entire face with a visor showing her eyes and mouth while Yuya simply produced his own helmet from his Duel Disk.
"Hold on tight." Aki said as she revved the engine and Yuya put his arms around Aki's waist and they sped off away from the gardens.
High Council Building
Godwin led Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio through the halls of the High Council Building towards the main gathering room.
"Man, how much of the economy went into this building?" Jonouchi asked.
"It depends where you stand. If you're a Common it costs a fortune, but if you're a Top, it's only pocket money." Godwin answered.
"That's still unfair." Rio pointed out.
Godwin stopped in front of a door guarded by two men in white suits. "Before we go in, let me explain the rules. First, Roget will try to pin you with a crime and the Council will give you a chance to defend yourselves. Make sure to choose your words wisely and prepare for any counter that Roget will make against you." Godwin explained.
"Yes, Grandpa." Rua nodded.
Godwin nodded at the two men and they opened the door to reveal the High Council sitting on their seats, Roget at the podium and the Lancers on the side in handcuffs.
"Dimension Guardians. Welcome." The man in white stood up and opened his arms. "Allow me to introduce ourselves. We are the High Council, and we are in charge of overseeing Neo Domino City. I am the President, White Taki."
"Over here is Azul and Bordeaux." Taki gestured to his left to a woman in blue and a man in orange robes. "And here is Gray and Gael." He gestured to a short man wearing a gray suit and a man wearing a yellow robe and hat.
"Of course, it's run by old people." Jonouchi muttered.
"Jonouchi." Asuka scolded.
"Mayor Godwin, thank you for your assistance in bringing them over." White Taki thanked. "You are dismissed."
"President, with your permission, I would like to stay and observe. Please, as one of the Guardians is my grandson." Godwin asked.
"Granted." White Taki nodded. "Now then, let us begin with this meeting."
Commons Area – Aki's House
Yuya and Aki made it to Aki's house, which was a small place but had everything one would need to live. A living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and even a laundry room. Right now, Aki had some medical tools on the coffee table as Yuya laid on the couch.
"Even though I healed the wound, it would be dangerous to leave the bullet in there." Aki cut Yuya's side and he winced. "This will hurt."
"I trust you." Yuya said. Aki then started searching for the bullet.
"So, to recap what you've told me. You're from another Dimension called Standard and there are three others called Fusion, Xyz and my dimension, Synchro." Aki said.
"That's right." Yuya answered.
"And the Fusion Dimension invaded the Xyz Dimension and turned it into a battlefield and tried to do the same in Standard, but you pushed them away and you traveled here to gain allies to fight them." Aki said.
"That's more or less it. I know it sounds crazy. Ah…" Yuya wince as Aki found the bullet and pulled it out.
"It does sound crazy." Aki answered. "But I know you're not the type to lie. So, I believe you." She then placed her hand on the cut and it instantly healed.
"That's amazing." Yuya praised.
"Thank you. I just wish it was like this when I first got them." Aki had a sad look as she put the medical tools away. "Let me get you something to eat."
"Sure…" Yuya looked around Aki's house. It was simple, and not really decorative, but he did notice a picture frame face down. He slowly got up and picked it up to see Aki as a child with a man with brown hair and a beard with brown eyes and a woman with the same hair and eye color of Aki's.
"It was the only thing I was allowed to keep." Aki said as she came back with a plate of pot roast and potatoes.
"These are your parents?" Yuya asked.
"Yeah…" Aki answered. "Papa is the senator of Neo Domino, that grants him certain immunities, including his own family. Or at least, that's what I thought."
"When we first met, you said that I was just like you and that I might've just awakened my powers. You were talking about Psychic powers, right?" Yuya asked.
"Nobody knows if those powers are heredity or if it's medical condition, they just appear out of nowhere." Aki explained. "Because there's no research on them, the people of Neo Domino City scorn those with these powers and make our lives a living hell."
"My papa was always busy, and I rarely got to spend any time with him." Aki continued. "It hurt when he didn't get to come home on my birthday, or when he left before I could say good morning. But I was always grateful for the time that he did have for me. But one day, when I was eight…"
Izayoi Residence (8 years ago)
Both Aki and her father, Hideo were having a Duel in the backyard while her mother, Setsuko, watched from the sidelines.
"My turn! Draw!" Aki drew her card. She smiled. "Yes, I can finally show Daddy my strongest monster!"
"I summon the Tuner Monster, Black Rose Witch!" Aki summoned her Tuner.
"Oh, that card!" Hideo smiled as he saw the card.
"Here I come, Papa! I'm gonna show you the monster you got me! I'm Tuning my Level 3 Hedge Guard with my Level 4 Black Rose Witch! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Black Rose Psychic Dragon!" Aki summoned her dragon.
"Amazing, Aki!" Setsuko cheered.
"You got stronger." Hideo smiled.
Aki laughed before she felt a sharp pain in her arm and cried. "Aki, what's wrong?" Hideo asked.
Aki held her arm but the pain kept increasing and she cried so loud and Black Rose Psychic Dragon roared and created a whirlwind. "Aki!" Hideo shielded himself.
"Stop the Duel!" Setsuko shouted.
Hideo deactivated his Duel Disk and the system turned off but Black Rose Psychic Dragon was still on the field. "What's going on?!" Hideo was confused but Aki kept crying in pain.
Hideo shielded himself and faced the strong winds. His daughter was crying, she needed him. The wind kept intensifying and soon stuff all over the yard was blowing away, Hideo almost got cut by a pair of hedge clippers, but he managed to reach his daughter. "Aki, it's okay! It's okay!" Hideo hugged his daughter.
Aki's crying started to die down as Hideo gently rubbed her head and soon the wind died down and Black Rose Psychic Dragon disappeared. "Papa…I…" Aki passed out.
"We need to get her to a doctor." Setsuko said.
"Right." Hideo nodded.
Aki was put into a cat scan and doctors started doing tests all over her as her parents watched with concern.
"The doctors did every test on me, but they couldn't find the answer. All they told them was that it only happens when I'm Dueling. So, my parents told me to never Duel again." Aki explained to Yuya.
"I couldn't blame them for doing that, I didn't want to experience that pain again. But I wasn't sure what to do with my life." Aki said. "But then I started to enjoy growing flowers."
Aki had started growing flowers and started selling them to everyone. "Everybody who bought my flowers were really happy and they were also a big help to my father's campaign to improve equality for both Tops and Commons."
"I thought I was done with Dueling and those powers. Until two years ago…" Aki said.
Commons Area – Izayoi Campaign Rally (2 years ago)
"Ladies and gentlemen of the Commons!" Hideo announced to the Commons gathered around. "I have heard your pleas, I have heard your cries, and I am here to tell you that I am here to answer your wishes!" Everyone cheered.
"For years, the Tops have been foolishly misusing the economy for their own personal needs, instead of using them for what is important! As Senator of Neo Domino, I hereby launch the Tops Tax Act!"
"What does that mean? What it means is that the Tops will pay for all of your needs! Your houses! Your schools! Your businesses! Whatever it is you want started up that can benefit Neo Domino, they will pay for it without any burden being placed on you!" The Commons all cheered loudly.
However, Security started arriving and started destroying the rally. Not only that they started arresting some of the Commons.
"What are you doing?! This is a peaceful rally!" Hideo shoved an officer off a Common.
"Did you really think the Tops would accept this, Senator." Hideo turned to see Roget approaching him with a smile. "Neo Domino does not need to change. It's thanks to this system that only the important people thrive while the useless rot away."
"Nobody is above anyone, Director!" Hideo argued.
As Hideo argued with Roget, Aki saw that Security was separating parents from their children.
"Daddy!" A little girl shouted as Security dragged her father to the prisoner truck.
"Let me go! I haven't done anything wrong!" The man struggled.
Aki couldn't stand to let this happen, she pulled out her Duel Disk and deck, which alarmed Setsuko. "Aki, don't!" Setsuko shouted.
This caught Hideo's attention and he saw what Aki was gonna do. "Aki, stop!" Hideo called out.
"Black Rose Psychic Dragon!" Aki summoned her dragon and it knocked the officers off the man. It then fired at all the officers, causing most of them to be knocked out. "Get out of here! Run!" Aki shouted as the Commons quickly got away and escaped imprisonment.
"Well, it seems I know the perfect punishment for you, Senator." Roget looked at Hideo.
"What are you…?" Hideo's eyes widened. "No, no you can't!"
"Officers, arrest the girl!" Roget pointed at Aki. The Officers instantly summoned their monsters and they weakened Black Rose Psychic Dragon and Gate Blockers surrounded Aki.
"No." Aki was then grabbed by Mikage and pushed against the wall and handcuffed. She was then thrown in the back of the police truck.
"Aki!" Hideo and Setsuko called out.
"Papa! Mama!" Aki cried as the truck took her away.
Aki's House (Present Time)
"They dubbed my powers Psychic and passed a law that deported all of them to the Commons Area." Aki explained. "I've been here for two years and I haven't been able to talk to either my Papa or Mama."
"Is that why you were in the Tops area the other day. You were gonna go talk to them in person?" Yuya asked.
"Ever since that incident, my papa has been hated by every single person in the Tops, but since he's the Senator, he can't lose his status, so for his safety, they've been moving him and Mama around. Never in the same location." Aki answered.
"I just want to let them know that I'm okay, or to let them know that I don't blame them for not trying to get me back." Aki said. "I don't care about my status at all, I just want to see them."
"Aki…" Yuya uttered. To be separated from your parents was the worse thing that could happen to a child. "Let me help you."
"Huh?" Aki asked.
"You helped me, so let me help you." Yuya said. "There's gotta be a way to let your parents know about you. Like a major event that…the Friendship Cup!"
"The Friendship Cup? You mean that Riding Duel Tournament where the winners get a chance to Duel Jack Atlas?" Aki asked.
"Wait, winners?" Yuya asked. "I thought only one winner got to face Jack Atlas?"
"Well, when Jack became the king, he changed the rules to emphasize the Friendship Cup. Instead of it being a one-on-one tournament, it's a 3 on 3 Survival Riding Duel. You can have a team of at least 15 Duelists with 3 of them participating in each round, but they cannot participate in consecutive rounds.
"Well, that's perfect. With us and the Dimension Guardians, that's 6. And with the Lancers, that'll be 15. Well, technically 16, but I don't think he's gonna want to participate." Yuya thought of Reira.
"But Yuya, participates all over the world are coming for this tournament, not just Neo Domino." Aki pointed out.
"But this will at least let your parents know about you." Yuya pointed out. "Plus, we're gonna need strong Duelists for what's to come."
"But are you sure you want someone like me on your team?" Aki asked.
"Not someone like you. It has to be exactly you." Yuya smiled. "I don't know why but…I'd rather have you that anyone else in the Synchro Dimension. Uh…don't tell Rua that."
Aki blushed a bit before giggling. "Okay, let's do it! Let's show Neo Domino the true power of the Dimension Guardians!"
"Alright!" Yuya raised his hand and both he and Aki high-fived.
