"Field Magic: Dimension Gates!" The Field Magic activated and the gates appeared around the Duelists.
"Duel!" Jonouchi, Crow, Dennis and Shun declared.

"I'll go first. Draw!" Jonouchi drew his card. "I activate the Continuous Magic: Dangerous Machine Type-6!" A giant slot machine appeared behind Jonouchi. "Next, I activate another Continuous Magic: Heart of the Underdog!" Jonouchi played another Continuous Magic.
"Then, I summon Blue Flame Swordsman (ATK: 1800, LV: 4) in Attack Position!" A warrior dressed in blue armor and a blue sword appeared on the field. "I set one card and end my turn!"

"Alright, it's my…" Dennis was about to draw.
"Draw!" Shun drew his card. "I summon Raid Raptors – Skull Eagle (ATK: 1300, LV: 3)!" Shun summoned his eagle. "Next, I activate the Magic Card: Raid Raptors – Call! It allows me to Special Summon a monster with the same name from my deck! I Overlay my two Skull Eagles!" The two monsters flew into the sky.
"Xyz Summon! Take flight! Rank 3! Raid Raptors – Devi Eagle (ATK: 1000, RNK: 3, OVU: 2)!" Shun summoned his eagle Xyz monster.
"Since the two Skull Eagles were used as materials, I can activate their monster effects! They each give Devil Eagle 300 extra Attack Points!"
Devil Eagle (ATK: 1000→1300→1600)
"Now I activate Devil Eagle's monster effect! By using one Overlay Unit, I can inflict damage to the opposing player equal to the Attack Points of a Special Summoned monster on the field!" Devil Eagle fired a purple beam at Jonouchi and Crow as they took damage.
Jonouchi/Crow LP: 8000→6400
"Typical textbook combo." Jonouchi shook his head in disappointment. "If you stick with the same strategy, you'll become predictable and easy to counter. You'll end up just burdening your sister and your team."
"No one has been able to overcome my combos." Shun narrowed his eyes. "I set two cards and end my turn!"

"But didn't you lose to Yuya and a Security Officer?" Jonouchi asked.
"Yuya caught me off guard and I had three weaklings slowing me down! If I was alone, I could've defeated that Machine Emperor." Shun declared.
"Alright, time to give you a reality check. My turn! Draw!" Crow drew his card. "Since I have no cards on the field, I can Special Summon Black Feather – Gust the Backblast (ATK: 900, LV: 2)!" Crow summoned a blue and green feathered winged beast.
"Next, since I control a Black Feather monster, I can Special Summon Black Feather – Oroshi the Squall (ATK: 400, LV: 1) from my hand! Then, I release Oroshi and Advance Summon Assault Black Feather – Kunai the Drizzle (ATK: 2100, LV: 5)!" Crow summoned a green feathered Black Feather with blue and brown armor with kunai knives as claws.
"When this card is Advance Summoned using a Black Feather monster, it can be treated as a Tuner monster! I'm Tuning my Level 2 Gust the Backblast with my Level 5 Kunai the Drizzle!" Kunai the Drizzle turned into five green rings and Gust the Backblast flew through them and became two stars.
"Spread your jet-black wings, and storm forth in tandem with the roaring thunder! A slash of lightning! Synchro Summon! Cascade, Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower (ATK: 2600, LV: 7)!" Crow summoned a winged beast in purple and black armor with a black wing and white wing and a sword.
"I activate Raikiri's effect! Once per turn, I can destroy cards on the field equal to the number of Black Feather monsters I control! I destroy Devil Eagle!" Raikiri swung his sword and it created an arc towards Devil Eagle.
"Counter Trap: Raid Raptors – Reversal!" Shun played his set card. "When I control a Raid Raptors monster, I can negate the activation of a card that would destroy a card!" Devil Eagle dodged the arc. "Then, I draw one card!" Shun drew one more card.
"In that case, I set one card and end my turn!" Crow finished.
Jonouchi/Crow LP: 6400, (Jonouchi Hand: 2, Crow Hand: 2)

"Now it's my time to shine! My turn! Draw!" Dennis drew his card. "Kurosaki, I'm gonna use your monster!"
"Over my dead…" Shun growled before he saw Devil Eagle's Overlay Unit disappear. "What?"
Devil Eagle (OVU: 2→1)
"By using an Overlay Unit of an Xyz Monster on the field, I can Special Summon Entermage Cup Tricker (ATK: 1200, LV: 5, PS: 1)!" A small magician using cup tricks appeared. "Unfortunately, due to this Devil Eagle loses 600 Attack Points."
Devil Eagle (ATK: 1600→1000)
"Why you little!" Shun growled.
"Now, now, my turn is just getting started. I activate the Magic Card: Magical Pendulum Box! This allows me to draw two cards from my deck, and if they're Pendulum monsters, I can add them to my hand, anything else gets sent to the Graveyard!" Dennis drew two cards.
"Lucky me! They're Pendulums!" Dennis smiled. "Using the Scale 3 Entermage Bonus Dealer and the Scale 6 Entermage Overlay Juggler, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Dennis set his scale. "With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 4 and 5!"
"Pendulum Summon! Come, my Entermages!" The portal opened. "First, Entermage Wind Sucker (ATK: 2100, LV: 5, PS: 4)! Then, Entermage Wing Sandwichman (ATK: 1800, LV: 5, PS: 1)! And finally, Entermage Ball Rider (ATK: 1000, LV: 4, PS: 3)!" Dennis summoned his brand new Entermage Pendulum monsters.
"Looks like another Xyz is coming." Jonouchi said.
"Not yet, good sir. I activate Bonus Dealer's Pendulum Effect! If I Pendulum Summon more than three Entermages from my hand, I can draw two cards!" Dennis drew two cards. "I Normal Summon Entermage Fire Dancer (ATK: 1400, LV: 4, PS: 6)!" Dennis summoned a small female monster.
"I Overlay my Level 4 Ball Rider and Fire Dancer!" Ball Rider turned into orange light and Fire Dancer turned to red light and they flew into the spacelike portal above.
"Show must go on! Artisan of the air, swing across the stage with grace! Xyz Summon! Appear now! Rank 4! Entermage Trapeze Magician (ATK: 2500, RNK: 4, OVU: 2)!" Dennis summoned his Xyz ace.
"Next, I Overlay my Level 5 Cup Tricker, Wind Sucker and Wing Sandwichman!" The three monsters turned into orange, yellow and green light and entered the spacelike portal.
"Show yourself, artist of the netherworld! Xyz Summon! Rank 5, Entermage Shadow Painter - Shadow Maker (ATK: 2600, RNK: 5, OVU: 5)!" Appearing from the ground was a paper like magician with a giant pair of scissors.
"I set one card and end my turn!" Dennis finished his turn.

"Hey, do you think Jonouchi is gonna be okay?" Yuzu asked Yuya. "The other three pulled off multiple summons compared to him."
"It's fine." Yuya smiled. "Knowing Uncle…"
"My turn! Draw!" Jonouchi drew his card and his Heart of the Underdog glowed. "Heart of the Underdog's effect! I can draw an additional card by revealing my drawn card as a Normal Monster. I drew Baby Dragon."
Jonouchi drew another card. "I drew Grappling Warrior Ultimator!" He drew again. "I drew Wyvern Warrior!" He drew again. "Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" He drew again. "Swordsman of Landstar!"
"He just drew five cards in a row." Ruri was amazed.
"How lucky is this guy?" Serena couldn't believe a person could draw so many Normal Monsters in a row.
Jonouchi drew once more. "This isn't a Normal Monster. But now, I activate the effect of Dangerous Machine Type-6! A random number from 1 to 6 will be given!" The machine activated and the slots moved until it stopped on 5.
"Alright! 5! This allows me to destroy one monster my opponent controls! I choose…Entermage Trapeze Magician!" A lightning bold hit Trapeze Magician.
"Oh no!" Dennis cried.
"Now, I activate the Magic Card: Fusion!" Jonouchi showed his card, making Kurosaki glare at him. "I fuse the Red-Eyes Black Dragon in my hand with the Blue Flame Swordsman on the field!"
Both Red-Eyes and Blue Flame Swordsman entered the spiraling vortex. "Black dragon with red eyes! Warrior of blue flames! With your friendship, become one and create a new power! Fusion Summon!" Jonouchi punched both his fists together. "Come forth! Level 7! Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 7)!" Jonouchi summoned his Red-Eyes with swords on his claws and armor of a warrior.
"Alright! It's Uncle's favorite Fusion Monster!" Yuya smiled.
"Don't worry, Kurosaki! I got your back!" Dennis said. "I activate my Continuous Trap: Magical Fortress! While I have control of a Spellcaster-type monster, my opponent cannot declare an attack!"
"I saw that from a mile away. I am Pro after all." Jonouchi smiled.
"What?" Dennis gasped.
"From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Cost Down! By discarding one card from my hand, all monsters in my hand have their Levels decreased by two! Therefore, I can Normal Summon this Level 6 monster as a Level 4! Come! Android – Psycho Shocker (ATK: 2400, LV: 6)!" An android in a green uniform appeared.
"As long as Psycho Shocker is on the field, Trap Cards cannot be activated and their effects are negated! Therefore, Magical Fortress's effect is negated!" Jonouchi pointed to Dennis's card.
"Oh no!" Dennis panicked.
"Battle! Red-Eyes Slash Dragon, attack Entermage Shadow Maker! At this moment, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's effect allows me to Equip and Warrior-type monster from my Graveyard and have it gain 200 Attack Points! I equip Ultimator!"
Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (ATK: 2800→3000)
"Go! Slice and Dice!" Red-Eyes Slash Dragon sliced and cubed the magician.
Shun/Dennis LP: 8000→7600
"Psycho Shocker, attack Raid Raptors – Devil Eagle! Cyber Energy Shock!" Psycho Shocker fired a blast at Devil Eagle and destroyed it, damaging Shun and Dennis.
Shun/Dennis LP: 7600→6200
"That won't stop me! I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Rank-Up Magic: Death Double Force!" Shun activated his set card. "This card allows me to Special Summon the destroyed Devil Eagle from the Graveyard and Rank it up to a monster that has twice its Rank!"
"Devil Eagle's Rank is 3." Yuzu uttered.
"And twice that is 6." Asuka said.
"Prideful falcon. Spread your wings, dyed in the blood of heroes, and charge through the path of revolution! Rank Up Xyz Change! Appear! Rank 6! Raid Raptors - Revolution Falcon (ATK: 2000, RNK: 6, OVU: 1)!" Shun ranked up his monster.
"I activate its monster effect! If Revolution Falcon was summoned via Rank-Up, I can destroy one Special Summoned monster my opponent controls, and inflict damage to them equal to half of its Attack Points!" Shun revealed.
"Psycho Shocker was Normal Summoned, which means he can only destroy Red-Eyes Slash Dragon or Raikiri the Sudden Shower." Rio said.
"It would be better to destroy Raikiri since it has that effect that can destroy a card for every Black Feather Crow has on the field." Rua noted.
"But knowing my brother…" Ruri knew what monster Shun was gonna pick.
"Use the flames of rebellion to destroy that cursed monster! I destroy Red-Eyes Slash Dragon!" Revolution Falcon fired a stream of fire at Red-Eyes Slash Dragon.
"Weak!" Jonouchi shouted. "When a card or effect is activated that targets a card I control, I can send one Equip Card to the Graveyard, to negate the activation and destroy that card!" Red-Eyes charged through the flames.
Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (ATK: 3000→2800)
"Your revolution was over before it began!" Red-Eyes Slash Dragon sliced through Revolution Falcon destroying it.
"Damn it!" Shun cursed loudly.
"I end my turn." Jonouchi smiled.
"Man, whether it was luck or skill, he was able to counter their moves so easily. He's definitely got the markings of a Pro. I'm glad to have him as my partner and with his luck, maybe I can win the lottery and help the kids..." Crow thought before he got a worried face. "What happened to you, Rin? Are you okay?"
Spirit World – Ancient Forest
"What do you mean I'm Ruka's successor?" Rin asked Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon.
"First, I should explain who I am and my role." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon said. "I am one of the six dragons who serve the almighty Crimson Dragon."
"Crimson Dragon…Grandpa told me stories about that and it was on display in Bruno's shop." Rua recalled.
"The proof that I am one of them is that my wielder posses one of the six dragon marks. Mine is the Hand, which you have, Rin." Ancient Fairy Dragon revealed. Rin rolled back her sleeve and looked at her mark. "However, that mark was originally Ruka's."
"It was…but…the reason why Ruka is like this…I am to blame." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon lowered her head in shame.
The scene then changed and the dark forest was now brighter and fuller of life. Rua and Rin heard laughing and saw a younger Ruka playing with some of the Duel Monster spirits.
"Here you go." Ruka gave Kuribon a crown of flowers and Kuribon was happily dancing, but eventually the flowers wilted and died. "Huh? Why did they suddenly?"
"I'm afraid the evil ones are starting to stir, Ruka." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon looked at the sky. "Someone from the human world must've started breaking the seal me and my friends have placed on them thousands of years ago. Once that seal is broken, not only will the human world will be put in danger, but also the world of the spirits."
"The human world? Does that mean, my brother will be in danger? I have to go back!" Ruka said.
"I'm afraid that's impossible." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon admitted.
"What do you mean?" Ruka asked.
"This world of spirits is linked to your mind. If you try to force yourself back, the link between you and this world will be broken and you are the only one who can help us defeat the evil ones that will come to the Spirit World." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon answered.
"But Rua…" Ruka thought back to the fun times she had with him.
"The Human and Spirit World are connected, whatever happens on this side will affect the Human World and your brother." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon emphasized. "This time…you must protect your brother by protecting the Spirit World."
"Rua…he's always been taking care of me. He could never do the things he wanted because of my health. I've been such a burden to him." Ruka looked down.
"I never thought that, Ruka." Rua said.
"I love you all and I want to protect Rua. So, I'll do it! I protect the Spirit World!" All of the spirits cheered for Ruka's decision.
The scene then returned to normal. "And protect us she did. In the two years, her kindness brought monsters of all types together to combat the evil forces. Along with her prodigal Dueling, we have been able to push the enemy back, but…"
Ruka and Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon stood over a defeated monkey with a staff. "It's over Zeman! You're curse on the Spirit World is over!" Ruka declared.
"Hehehe…" Zeman chuckled weakly. "I will admit, I have lost and my curse on the spirits is useless thanks to you. But…I'm just a pawn…and my master shall now revive!" The ground shook knocking Ruka to the ground and emerging from the ground was a giant dark monkey with glowing yellow lines.
"Wh-What is that?!" Ruka stepped back in fear.
"Ruka, run!" Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon fired a blast at the giant monkey creating a hole in its chest but the hole quickly filled up again.
"My master's attack has the power of my curse! And while it will no longer work on the other Spirits, you're still human!" Zeeman laughed before he turned to ashes and the monkey fired at blast that went over Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon's head.
"No! Ruka!" Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon cried, but it was too late. Ruka was struck by the blast and she was knocked out. The monkey let out a screech and Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon picked up Ruka and flew away and the scene went back to normal.
"Ruka's…cursed?" Rua looked at his sister.
"Yes, she was hit by the Earthbound Servant's attack which also had the Minus Curse." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon answered.
"Minus Curse?" Rin asked.
"The Minus Curse causes us spirits to turn into Stone Tablets and makes us the sacrifices to enhance the Earthbound Servant's power, but to a human…it drains their life force." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon revealed.
"We Duel Monsters have been sharing some of our own life force to keep her steady but if that Earthbound Servant isn't defeated, Ruka will…"
"Ruka…" Rua looked at his sister. "Where is it? Where's the Earthbound Servant?"
"It disappeared after it struck Ruka. My guess, it's in the hands of someone in the Human World." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon answered. "Rua. Rin, I know it's selfish of me ask you anything after I put Ruka in danger, but I beg of you, please defeat the one who wields the Earthbound Servants."
"But why me?" Rin asked.
"Like Ruka, you have a kind and caring heart." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon explained. "Also, you have someone important to you that you would do anything for them."
"I do…" Rin smiled as she thought of Yuya. "Okay, I'll help you. Anything to help out a friend."
"Thank you, Rin. My power is yours. Rua, it's time to begin your role as a Signer." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon unleashed a bright light that blinded both Rua and Rin.
Godwin's Penthouse – Medical Room
"Urgh…" Rin grunted as she woke up.
"You're awake." Aki smiled.
"Aki? This is…" Rin looked around.
"Ow, my head." Rua winced as he held his head.
"We found you passed out here, what happened?" Aki asked.
"It's a complicated story." Rua admitted. "Where is everyone?"
"They're at the Duel Field. They decided to continue with the next pair Duel instead of yours." Aki answered.
"Wait, Crow's Dueling?! I have to see it!" Rin jumped out of bed and ran out the room.
"Wait, Rin, you just woke up!" Aki ran after her.
Rua chuckled a bit before he turned to his sister, who was still asleep. He walked up to her and held her hand. "Ruka…I promise…I'll defeat that oversized monkey."

"Whoa, whoa, Kurosaki! Slow down!" Dennis said.

"I Special Summon Revolution Falcon from my Graveyard and rank it up!" Revolution Falcon reappeared and flew into the sky.
"Dauntless falcon. Hoist up the flame of anger, become the flash of light that burns the land to ash! Rank Up Xyz Change! Soar! Rank 8! Raid Raptors - Satellite Cannon Falcon (ATK: 3000, RNK: 8, OVU: 1)!"
"When I have a Raid Raptors Xyz monster on the field, I can Normal Summon Raid Raptors – Hypnos Sparrow (ATK: 2000, LV: 5) without releasing!" A sparrow with the hypnotic eye appeared on the field.
"Next, since I have an Xyz monster on my field, I can Special Summon Raid Raptors – Singing Lanius (ATK: 100, LV: 4)!" Shun summoned a small Lanius in gold armor.
"Hypnos Sparrow's effect activates! Once per turn, I can select on monster on my opponent's field and take control of it! I choose Psycho Shocker!" Shun took Psycho Shocker.
"Next, I open Dimension Gate's Xyz Gate!" The Xyz Gate opened. "By paying 1000 Life Points, I can make all monsters on my field have the same Level as a monster I control! I choose Hypnos Sparrow and make Singing Lanius and Psycho Shocker a Level 5!"
Dennis/Shun LP: 3100→2100
Psycho Shocker (LV: 6→5)
"Due to Hypnos Sparrow's effect, Psycho Shocker is treated as a Winged Beast for an Xyz Summon! I Overlay my Level 5 Hypnos Sparrow and Psycho Shocker!" Both Hypnos Sparrow and Psycho Shocker turned into purple lights and entered the spacelike portal.
""Ferocious falcon. Break through this fierce battle and spread your wings! Destroy our gathering foes! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 5! Raid Raptors – Blaze Falcon (ATK: 1000, RNK: 5, OVU: 2)!" Shun summoned his red falcon.
"Impressive. He eliminated Psycho Shocker allowing him to reuse his Magic and Trap cards." Asuka complimented.
"Yeah, but Psycho Shocker prevented all players from using their Trap Cards, meaning…" Yuya looked at the set cards that were on Jonouchi's and Crow's field.
"I activate Blaze Falcon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, I can destroy as many Special Summoned monsters my opponent controls, and for each one, inflict 500 points of damage!" Lasers fired at Red-Eyes Slash Dragon and Raikiri the Sudden Shower.
"Here it comes, Crow!" Jonouchi said.
"I'm on it! Counter Trap: Assault Force!" Crow pressed a button on his Duel Disk and his set card opened. "When my opponent activates a card effect that would destroy cards when I control an Assault Black Feather monster on my field, that effect is negated and the card is destroyed!" The trap protected both monsters and Blaze Falcon was destroyed.
"But I have Satellite Cannon Falcon! By using one Overlay Unit, once per turn, one monster my opponent controls losses 800 Attack Points for every Raid Raptors monster in my Graveyard! I have two Skull Eagles, Devil Eagle, Hypnos Sparrow, Blaze Falcon, Revolution Falcon! That's 6, so one monster losses 4800 Attack Points! I…" Shun glared at Red-Eyes.
"Continuous Trap: Fairy Box!" Jonouchi played his set card. "When an opponent's monster declares an attack, I toss a coin and if I call it right the Attacking monster's Attack Points become 0 until the end of the Battle Phase!"
"Looks like Shun has a difficult choice to make." Yuya said. "Right now, Satellite Cannon Falcon is already the strongest monster on the field and Shun wants to deal heavy damage."
"But even with Satellite Cannon Falcon's effect, if Jonouchi calls his coin toss right, its Attack Points will be reduced to 0." Asuka added.
"Both monsters would be destroyed but Shun and Dennis would have no monsters while the remaining monster can attack and end the Duel." Rio said.
"Now, what will you do?" Jonouchi asked. "Will you risk victory and attack? Or will you think about what's best for you and your partner?"
"I really want to destroy that Fusion Monster…but…Raikiri is the bigger threat, even if that coin toss is right, if Raikiri is destroyed, Crow can't destroy any cards and with this card…but that guy." Shun looked at Dennis.
"Whoa, that's a cool dragon!"
"Crow, who's your partner?!"
"It looks amazing!"
"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" Crow turned in surprise to see Frank, Amanda and Tanner.
"We heard you were gonna enter the Friendship Cup and were training here!" Frank answered.
"So, we came to cheer ya on!" Amanda added.
"Your sister let us in!" Tanner said.
"Hey, Crow!" Rin came panting with Rua and Aki behind her.
"Rin, you're okay!" Crow smiled.
"Sorry, I made you worry, but I'm good now!" Rin made a determined look.
"Me too!" Rua said.
"Thank goodness." Asuka was especially worried for Rua since he was the youngest of the group.
"Hey, what's that dragon?" Frank went up to Jonouchi.
"This is my favorite partner, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon. A Fusion Monster." Jonouchi explained.
"A Fusion Monster?" Amanda asked.
"It's a summon method that anyone can use." Jonouchi answered. "But how you use Fusion depends on what you want. Fusion is just another method in Duel Monsters, it's neither good or bad." This made Shun perk up.
"Hey, don't try to take their attention away from me! They deserve to see the great Crow the Bullet and his amazing Synchro Summons!" Crow bragged.
"That's right, Crow is the greatest!" Frank agreed.
"The best!" Amanda added.
"Crow is number 1!" Tanner cheered.
"Oh, sorry. So, Shun, you're gonna reduce Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's Attack Points, right?" Jonouchi asked.
"I reduce…" Shun pointed at… "Raikiri the Sudden Shower!"
"Huh?! My monster?!" Crow exclaimed.
Raikiri the Sudden Shower (ATK: 2600→0)
"But even so, my Trap Card can reduce your monster's Attack Points." Jonouchi grinned.
"Luck can only last for so long! Go! Satellite Cannon Falcon, attack Raikiri the Sudden Shower! Eternal Avenge!" Satellite Cannon Falcon flew in the air and fired a laser at Raikiri.
"I use Fairy Box's effect! I call red, tails!" A coin appeared and flipped in the air before landing on…
"No, it's heads!" Jonouchi hit his head. The laser destroyed Raikiri and both Jonouchi and Crow took damage.
Jonouchi/Crow LP: 6400→3400
"I activate the Magic Card: Xyz Resurrection! This card Special Summons an Xyz monster from the Graveyard and have it gain 500 Attack Points, I choose…" Shun pointed at Dennis. "Dennis's Trapeze Magician (ATK: 2500→3000, RNK: 4)!" Trapeze Magician reappeared.
"I end my turn." Shun answered. "At the End Phase, the Rank-Up Magic: Soul Shave Force would have me take damage equal to the Attack Points of the Xyz Monster that was summoned using this effect, by Trapeze Magician's effect negates effect damage that is equal or lower than its Attack Points!"
"Kurosaki…does that mean…" Dennis looked at Shun with hope.
"Your monster was just useful this one time." Shun crossed his arms and looked away.
"Oh…right." Dennis looked down.
"Next turn, make it useful by winning." Shun muttered, but loud enough for Dennis to hear.
"Roger!" Dennis saluted.
"Sorry, Crow." Jonouchi apologized.
"This is fine." Crow waved his hand. "Now let me show you Crow the Bullet's strongest monster!"
"Strongest monster?!" The kids exclaimed.
"It's not Raikiri?" Tanner asked.
Jonouchi/Crow LP: 3400 (Jonouchi Hand: 3, Crow Hand: 2)
Dennis/Shun LP: 2100, (Dennis Hand: 1, Shun Hand: 0)
"My turn! Draw!" Crow drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: Treasure Cards for Black Feathers! I send one Black Feather monster from my hand to the Graveyard and draw two cards!" Crow discarded a card and drew two cards. "Yes."
"I summon Black Feather – Jet the Blue Sky (ATK: 100, LV: 1)!" A small blue and red Black Feather appeared.
"When I have a Black Feather monster on my field, I can Special Summon Black Feather – Blast the Black Spear (ATK: 1700, LV: 4)!" A Black Feather with a large spear appeared.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Against Wind! I target one Black Feather monster in my Graveyard and take damage equal to its Attack Points and add it to my hand, I add the card I discarded for Treasure Cards for Black Feathers, the Tuner Monster, Black Feather – Gale the Swift Wind (ATK: 1300, LV: 3) and summon it!" A small Black Feather with green feathers appeared.
Jonouchi/Crow LP: 3400→2100
"I activate Gale the Swift Wind's effect! Once per turn, I can half the Attack and Defense Points of one monster on the opponent's field! I choose Satellite Cannon Falcon!" Gale flapped its wings and Satellite Cannon Falcon got weak.
Satellite Cannon Falcon (ATK: 3000→1500/DEF: 2000→1000)
"But I still have Magical Fortress on my field!" Dennis pointed out. "Even if you weaken Kurosaki's monster, my card will protect him!"
"Is that so?" Crow smiled. "I'm Tuning my Level 4 Blast the Black Spear and my Level 1 Jet the Blue Sky with my Level 3 Gale the Swift Wind!" Gale the Swift Wind became three green rings and Blast the Black Spear and Jet the Blue Sky flew through them and together became five stars.
"Black and red wings that contain dreams, appear before us with the inherited powers of your comrades! Synchro Summon! Soar! Assault Black Feather – Dark Hurricane Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" A dragon with long black and red wings appeared released a huge roar.
Crow's, Rin's, Yuya's, Rua's and Aki's marks then glowed, surprising them.
"The mark again." Aki uttered.
"Is Crow's Dragon one of the six dragons?" Rin wondered.
"What six dragons?" Yuya asked.
"Complicated story." Rua answered.
Crow then brushed it off and went back to the Duel. "I activate Dark Hurricane Dragon's effect! Once per turn, I can return on Assault Black Feather monster from my Graveyard to my Extra Deck and have Assault Black Feather take on its monster effect and gain half of its Attack Points! I add Raikiri back to my Extra Deck!"
"Meaning that…" Shun's eyes widened.
"That's right! Dark Hurricane Dragon can use Raikiri's effect to destroy cards equal to the number of Black Feather monsters on the field! I destroy Trapeze Magician!" Trapeze Magician was destroyed. "And it gains half of Raikiri's Attack Points!"
Assault Black Feather – Dark Hurricane Dragon (ATK: 2800→4100)
"This is the power of Black Feathers! They all support each other for their shared goal for victory! Battle! Dark Hurricane Dragon, attack Satellite Cannon Falcon! Noble Hurricane Stream!" Dark Hurricane Dragon fired a powerful roar attack that destroyed Satellite Cannon Falcon, but Shun wasn't angry, he simply smiled.
Dennis/Shun LP: 2100→0

"Aw man." Dennis slumped to the ground. "I never got to shine. I would've made a good comeback." A hand reached out to him and he saw it was Shun's.
"Next time I'll make sure you get the chance." Shun said.
"Kurosaki…" Dennis took Shun's hand and he was pulled up. "You okay?"
"I…just needed another reminder." Shun looked at the happy kids that were cheering around Crow. That's right, like when he protected the children in Maiami Championship against Sora, this was his reason for wanting to stop Academia.
"Kurosaki, are you an entertainer?" Dennis asked.
"I'm not someone who makes a fool of themselves, like you." Shun turned his back on Dennis and crossed his arms.
"Ow." Dennis felt an arrow pierce his heart.
"But…I would like to know more about you as a comrade." Shun extended his hand for a handshake.
"You…you call me a comrade…" Dennis squealed and opened his arms. "Friendship hug!"
"No, no I don't do hu—" But it was too late as Dennis started squeezing Shun really tight.
"I'm never gonna let you go!" Dennis declared. "We're gonna have so much fun together!"
"I…change…my…mind…" Shun started turning blue.
"They didn't win…but I think it's a good start." Jonouchi walked up to Yuya.
"Yeah…it is a good start." Yuya nodded.
"S-Serena, why are…you…hugging me…so tight…" Ruri gasped as Serena was giving her a tight hug.
"I understand that this is what comrades do when they want to know more about each other! Ruri, we must know everything we can about one another!" Serena squeezed tighter.
Both the Kurosaki siblings were now blue and small ghosts started flying out of their mouths. "I can't believe this is how I will die." Both the siblings thought.
"We still have some things to work out but we'll be ready for the Friendship Cup." Yuya declared.
