Duel Palace – Team Guardian's Penthouse

"A seeker of revenge?" Shun asked Sherry after she introduced herself.

"Yes. I'm seeking revenge against the Director of Security in Neo Domino City, Jean-Michel Roget." Sherry answered. "We have a common enemy, therefore, we should be allies."

"Listen, it takes more than just a common goal to gain my trust." Shun said. "So, why don't you tell me why you want revenge against Roget?"

"Do you know how it feels to lose everything in an instant? To have someone important to you taken away, knowing that you can't get them back?" Sherry narrowed her eyes.

This made Shun think of Yuto. "I do." Shun nodded.

"My parents were major philanthropists. They would do whatever they could to help those who were unfortunate and make the world a better place for those who weren't as fortunate as us. My father's goal was to create a world where everyone lived in harmony." Sherry closed her eyes.

"Sounds like a noble goal." Shun said.

"Yes. And while most people doubted him and told him it was impossible, he didn't let it bother him. He said he would prove that equality can be created by changing the most corrupt city of the entire world, Neo Domino City." Sherry said. "But he faced backlash from both the Tops and Commons."

"I can understand the Tops, but why the Commons?" Shun asked.

"They want the Tops to suffer like they had, or worse. To them, it was either they were superior or not. But my father had a plan to satisfy both the Commons and the Tops. But in order for that to happen, he had to make an agreement with the Director of Security." Sherry answered.

"Three guesses who." Shun joked.

"The agreement was that Security would dismantle and become a government of elected officials. In other words, democracy." Sherry said. "However, most of the population are Commons and Roget was disliked by them so he refused the offer, but my father assured him that this would make them see him in a new light. He told Roget that he could be the shining her of Neo Domino City."

"Sounds like a good deal." Shun answered.

"It was…and Roget accepted the deal. But that night, Security raided our house. They took my mother and father while my butler, Mizoguchi, took me to safety." Sherry reached for her pocket. "Then, a couple of days later, I received these." Sherry showed Shun two cards and inside was a man and a woman, both unconscious.

"Those are…" Shun's eyes widened.

"Yes, my parents…turned into cards." Sherry answered. "Your team is fighting to create an equal society for Neo Domino City, but the only way to do that is to eliminate Roget. The members of my team have all suffered because of that man. So, will you join me as a fellow seeker of revenge?" Sherry had her hand out.

"While I understand your reason for revenge, I have my own enemy to fight." Shun answered. "I want to end this tournament fast so I can get back to saving my home."

"Very well." Sherry smiled as she retreated her hand. "But maybe you'll reconsider after we Duel in the Friendship Cup." Sherry looked back and gave a flirty wink. "I look forward to facing a strong man like you."

"Ridiculous." Shun turned around and walked back to the penthouse, but there was a hint of pink coming off his cheeks.

"I see. So Gongenzaka left." Sawatari accepted the card that was in Gongenzaka's letter.

"Yeah, he felt really bad and felt that you should have this." Yuzu said.

"Hm…maybe I can improvise with this." Sawatari started going through his deck.

"Hey, Yuya." Yuya turned to see Shun approaching him. "I want you to put him on the lineup against Team Paris."

"Really? I thought you would want to wait until the main tournament to Duel." Yuya was a little surprised. "Why now?"

"I met the leader of Team Paris, Sherry Leblanc." Shun answered, getting everyone's attention.

"You met Sherry?" Aki asked.

"I thought we weren't allowed to interact with the other teams." Yuzu recalled.

"And since when do any of us follow the rules?" Shun asked.

"Point taken." Dennis said.

"Why did she come to you?" Ruri asked.

"She wanted to recruit me for her mission of revenge." Shun answered. "Her parents were trying to make a deal with Roget to disband Security and create democracy but Roget went power crazy and turned them into cards."

"I believe it." Crow nodded.

"Sherry is one of the few female Riding Duelists that every woman aspires to be. During team tournaments, she would defeat all of her opponents by herself." Aki said. "She's really ruthless."

"A ruthless woman against a ruthless man, sounds like a match made in heaven to me." Sawatari pointed out.

"I'm not against putting you on the roster Shun, but I'm gonna need a reason why I should. Because I was planning to have you in the main tournament." Yuya answered.

"I know how she feels. To have everything taken from you, being forced to rely on your instincts to survive, doing whatever it takes to defeat the enemy. When I thought I lost Ruri, all I thought about was getting her back and defeating anyone with connections to Academia. I turned innocent people into cards and I ended up making Ruri feel ashamed and disgusted at me. I'm afraid that if Sherry continues on this path of revenge, she'll…"

"I understand. I'll put you on the roster." Yuya agreed.

"Thank you." Shun walked away.

"Shun…" Ruri uttered.

United World – Yuya's Dream

Yuya found himself back in the United World. "Guess it's not up to me to decide what to dream anymore." Yuya sighed. "But the more I know about what happened to Zarc, the more I'll understand."

Yuya looked around and he was in some kind of regular house. There was a living room, kitchen and a backyard.

"Oh man, oh man, oh man…" Yuya turned to see Ray walking from a hallway and sitting on the couch and burying her face in her hands. "What am I going to do?"

"I'm home!" Zarc entered the house.

"Oh, welcome back." Ray quickly got up. "You're home early." Ray's eye twitched.

"Yeah, I kind of won by default since my opponent had a nasty case of indigestion." Zarc answered.

"O-Oh…" Ray held her stomach as it grumbled.

"Yeah, I can't imagine what's gonna happen to him. I mean, he's already swollen as it is." Zarc said and Ray winced. "Can you imagine that going to the other parts of your body?" Ray started to sweat. "He'll probably have weird cravings and then start vomiting." Ray began to turn green. "I wouldn't want to go through that. Oh…crap, sorry, I forgot you weren't feeling well. I got you the medicine that you needed." Zarc held out a pharmaceutical bag.

"Move!" Ray pushed Zarc aside and ran to the bathroom and the sounds of her vomiting echoed throughout the house.

Zarc cringed at the sound of Ray in pain. "Aw man, you think she would be okay after a couple months." Zarc put the medicine on the table. "Ray, can I make you anything?"

"Some ginger ale…and order take out." Ray answered in pain.

"Can do." Zarc went to the kitchen to look for takeout menus. "Hm, I think they were in this drawer." Zarc opened a drawer. "No, it's the trash. I swear I keep opening the wrong…" Zarc then noticed something in the trash.

"Sorry about that Zarc." Ray came back from the bathroom. "I don't know what's coming over me."

"Do you?" Zarc asked as he pulled out a device from the trash and showed it to Ray. "Ray…are you…"

"That was from yesterday. I thought it was false, you know how that sometimes happens. But this one is from today." Ray showed a same device from behind her back. It had the same result as the one Zarc had in his hand. "Zarc…I'm pregnant."

"I'm…gonna be a dad…" Zarc was dumbstruck.

"That's right…and I'm gonna be a mom." Ray confirmed.

"I'm gonna be a dad…I'm gonna be a dad!" Zarc happily picked up Ray and spun her around.

"You're not upset?" Ray asked.

"Why would I be upset? I'm happy. We're gonna have a family. The three of us. You, me and our son." Zarc smiled.

"Wait, we could be having a daughter." Ray pointed out.

"No, we're definitely gonna have a son. I got a good feeling." Zarc lowered himself and rubbed his hand along Ray's stomach. "You hear that buddy. We're gonna have lots of fun. I can't wait to meet you."

"Me too. I can't wait to meet you either." Ray smiled.

Yuya watched from the distance with more confusion. "He's so happy, he's a champion, he has a wife and now he's gonna son. So, why? What could've made him become the person I saw earlier."

The scene around him began to ripple and change.

United World – Mountain Cave

Yuya saw Eve entering a cave in the mountains, she was approaching a woman sitting on a lone rock. She had wild long white hair and wore black robes. "You have something to report?" The woman asked.

"Yes." Eve bowed. "We have a bit of a setback."

"Setback?" The woman asked.

"Yes, while Zarc has managed to use the Astrograph Magician card that you have created, he has yet to summon the Supreme King Dragon Zarc monster since the first use. And now, I've learned that his wife, Ray, is now harboring his child. This will make Zarc take a hiatus, which will interrupt your plans." Eve explained.

"I see." The woman closed her eyes.

"But I have a plan, I will simply abort the child from Ray. And with the loss of his child, Zarc will have no choice but to…" Eve was then grabbed by the neck and lifted off the ground by the woman.

"You will not harm an innocent child." The woman made a dragon like growl.

"But Genesis, you're a divine dragon, you would slaughter the human race anyway." Eve choked.

"Fool." Genesis dropped Eve to the ground, making her cough and hold her throat. "I don't wish to eliminate the human race. I wish to create a new world! This world has become polluted by the greed and selfishness of the humans. They are unknowingly following the path of destruction."

"But I…I can lead them down the right path. With the power of those dragons that man Zarc possesses, I can change the world into my vision and I can create a future where there would be no need for senseless wars, no need for discrimination and world full of peace. A world that you can be reunited with your beloved Adam and your crony can have the attention that he deserves." Genesis answered.

"But I don't understand why you need those dragons? You were the one who created them in the first place?" Eve asked.

"Did it ever cross your mind as to why I take on this appearance?" Genesis closed her eyes and then opened them to reveal dragon like eyes and her body transformed into that of a full-grown dragon. But it only lasted a few seconds before she returned to a human form.

"I created this world using my power, that's why I am known as Genesis Omega Dragon. Genesis, the first. I created the world using my power, which took a toll on me. Omega, the last. I used the last of my power to create the four protectors of the world and place them in the hands of the superior species, humans." Genesis explained.

"But now, these humans only care about senseless violence, which gives me all the more reason to destroy the world and recreate it once more. But to do that, I need my full power." Genesis answered.

"But, Master, the humans are weak against Zarc, he has defeated most of them without summoning Supreme King Dragon Zarc." Eve answered.

"Then he won't face humans." Genesis snapped her fingers and multiple Duelists in purple cloaks appeared. "He will face monsters."

Synchro Dimension – Guardian's Penthouse

Yuya opened his eyes and he found himself in his room. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "I'm not liking where this dream is heading." Yuya admitted.

Yuya got out of bed and got himself ready for the second day of the tournament where they would face Team Paris. "Morning." Yuya said as he entered the main room.

"Morning." Rin smiled. "Pancakes?"

"Please and thank you." Yuya grabbed a plate and Rin gave him a short stack. He took a bite and his eyes widened. "This is delicious. You're an amazing cook, Rin."

"Th-Thanks…" Rin blushed as Yuya walked away.

"See." Crow appeared behind Rin. "The best way to get to a man's heart is through his stomach."

"C-Crow…" Rin stuttered.

"Hey, if you want to make your future husband happy, you gotta stuff him silly with good food." Crow said.

"Sh-Shut up! Stupid Big Brother Crow!" Rin went back to cooking.

A knock was heard on the door. "Coming!" Jonouchi went to the door and opened it to reveal Chojiro.

"Yo!" Chojiro waved.

"Mr. Tokumatsu." Rua smiled.

"What are you doing here?" Jonouchi asked.

"Well, I have something to share with you all." Chojiro got serious. Chojiro brought out a computer and opened it. "While everyone was enjoying the Friendship Cup, our friend, Kazama discovered something in the Underground Labor Facility."

"Don't tell me. Team Unicorn is down there?" Yuya asked.

"No, but a large amount of people has been gathering down there, take a look." Chojiro showed the laptop. It showed a bunch of people gathering around a small stage and standing on there was Divine.

"Divine." Aki glared.

"Who?" Asuka asked.

"He's a Psychic Duelist. He's able to make his cards create physical damage without Real Solid Vision." Yuya answered. "He tried to recruit me to his cause and was gonna kill me if not for Aki."

"My brothers and sisters! Thank you for coming to tonight's meeting! Let us start by introducing three new members to our cause. I introduce to you, Tony Simmons, Damon Lopez and Shinji Weber!" Divine introduced Crow's friends.

"Huh? Shinji?! What are you doing there?!" Crow was shocked.

"Shinji, please share with us your goal." Divine said.

"My comrades! For too long we have been treated as dirt and scum! The Tops continue to laugh at our suffering, well now is the time for us to make them suffer! It's time to begin a revolution!" Everyone cheered at Shinji's words.

"Shinji Weber, Tony Simmons, Damon Lopez, I am honored to welcome you to the Arcadia Movement as well as being the vanguard to the end of the Tops and Security's rule of this city! And we will do it by using their own weapons against them!" Two large Machine Emperor monsters appeared behind Divine.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Commander and General of the Machine Emperors, Master and Ultima!" Divine introduced and the crowd cheered. "Ready your arms, the revolution will begin on my command!"

"Eliminate all who get in our way! Especially the Tops, Security and above all, those affiliated with the Black Rose Witch and Dragon Soldier!" Divine showed pictures of Aki and Yuya and the crowd cheered before the feed ended.

"Shinji…you idiot." Crow clenched his fist.

"Great as if we don't have enough on our plate." Sawatari complained.

"What should we do, Yuya?" Yuzu asked.

"Not much we can do. Even though we know they're planning an attack, we don't know when or where they're gonna start their attack." Yuya admitted. "For now, we should just focus on the Friendship Cup."

"Don't worry, Kazama is still keeping tabs on the group. I'll let you know when he's found something else." Chojiro said.

"Thank you." Yuya nodded. "Okay, guys. Here's the lineup for the next match."

Underground Labor Facility

"I am honored to bestow upon you Machine Emperor Master." Divine gave Shinji the cards. "Use this monster to make your revolution known throughout the world."

"Thank you very much." Shinji thanked. "And I'm guessing you're gonna keep Ultima."

"Of course. You will lead the charge against the Duel Palace, while I lead a team to cause chaos and havoc among the city. That will at least draw Yuya Sakaki away." Divine said. "Even with your abilities, I'm the only one who can handle that guy."

"That's fine with me, so long as I can stick it to those Tops bastards." Shinji said.

"But you do realize that you will be fighting your friend, Crow." Divine pointed out. "Can you raise a hand against your friend?"

"A friend is someone who sticks by you no matter what. The moment Crow chose those Guardians over us was the moment he became our enemy." Tony declared.

"I see." Divine closed his eyes. "But according to your records, you haven't beaten Crow in a single Duel. Can you defeat him even with Master?"

"He doesn't have to Duel Crow to beat him." Damon smiled.

"Oh?" Divine looked intrigued. "Care to explain."

"The only reason Crow chose to join the Guardians was because of that Rin. I'll defeat Rin right in front of Crow and break his spirit." Shinji declared.

"That seem underhanded…I like it." Divine smiled. "Prepare yourselves gentlemen, our revolution is almost at hand."

"Sir!" Shinji, Damon and Tony saluted.

Duel Palace – Main Arena

"Hello, everybody! Welcome back to another exciting day of the Friendship Cup!" Melissa announced as the audience cheered.

"Today we might just determine the top 8 teams that will move on to the main tournament of the Friendship Cup! And now let me introduce the teams for the A-Block!" Melissa shouted.

"The first is a team of famous and rich Duelists, Team Paris! Their lineup for today consists of fashion model, Misty Lola, highly respected butler Mizoguchi and his master, the most famous female Riding Duelist in history, Sherry Leblanc!"

Entering was Sherry along with a man with short, spiky, dark grey hair and blueish eyes, with thick eyebrows the same color of his hair. His sideburns grow down to the top of the cheekbone before slightly growing to a point in the direction of his nose. His face is almost always in a scowl, regardless of his actual feelings. He is tall and has a muscular body. His outfit consists of that of a traditional butler.

The next was a beautiful woman of elegance. She had light-blue eyes and a gem tied to her forehead and had long black hair with her bangs parted. She was wearing a black and green Riding Duel suit with orange pads on her shoulders, elbows and knees.

Facing them is the team that defeated Team Unicorn, Team Guardians!" The audience cheered as the Guardians entered the arena. "Their lineup for today is…the headstrong Serena Anderson, the ice queen Rio Kamishiro and finally the War Falcon, Shun Kurosaki."

The three Duelists met up with the other side and faced each other. "So, you have decided to face me." Sherry looked at Shun.

"I'm here to stop you from revenge." Shun answered.

"If you're determined to stop me, then I'll be more determined to crush you." Sherry smiled.

"Hey, are you getting ahead of yourself." Serena joined in. "To get to Kurosaki, you have to beat me first."

"Then for my lady, I will create the path for her." Mizoguchi spoke.

"Man, we haven't even started and there's already tension." Rio noticed.

"It's because we have a goal to win for our teams." Misty approached Rio. "Excuse me." Misty put her hands on Rio's face.

"Wh-What?" Rio was a little surprised as Misty looked straight into her eyes.

"You have suffered a major loss, but that which is loss can be recovered." Misty said. "You will go through a lot of trials here and beyond and you will obtain a new power. But…with tremendous power comes a high price."

"A high price?" Rio asked.

"I cannot see further. But perhaps our Duel can give me a clearer image." Misty smiled and walked away.

"Uh…sure." Rio started to sweat a bit.

"It's time to begin this match! The first wheeler for Team Guardians is Serena Anderson and the first wheeler for Team Paris is Mizoguchi! Let's get the stage ready for these two! Field Magic: Dimension Highway!" The Field Magic activated and the clock appeared.

The clock counted down before reaching 0. "Riding Duel Acceleration!" Melissa shouted and both Serena and Mizoguchi sped up. They both reached the corner but Mizoguchi's D-Wheel was much longer than Serena's so he passed the corner first. "The one who took the first corner was Mizoguchi of Team Paris!"

"I'm winning this Duel!" Serena declared.

"Bring it!" Mizoguchi accepted Serena's challenge.

"Duel!" Serena and Mizoguchi declared.

"My turn! Draw!" Mizoguchi drew his card. "From my hand, I summon Mononofu of the Scraped Summit (ATK: 1200, LV: 4)!" A warrior wearing samurai armor and a sword appeared.

"I activate Mononofu of the Scraped Summit's effect! I Special Summon a Level 3 or lower Warrior-type monster from my hand! I Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Mononofu of the Liberated Heel (ATK: 0, LV: 3)!" A warrior wearing samurai armor and a spear appeared.

"A Tuner. It's coming." Serena prepared herself.

"I'm Tuning my Level 4 Mononofu of the Scraped Summit with my Level 3 Mononofu of the Liberated Heel!" Mononofu of the Liberated Heel turned into three green rings and Mononofu of the Scraped Summit flew through them and became four stars.

"When two swords cross, the loyal sword appears! Serve me! Synchro Summon! Appear, Driven Daredevil (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" A warrior wearing little armor and wielding two swords appeared.

"I set two cards and end my turn!" Mizoguchi finished his turn.

"My turn! Draw!" Serena drew her card.

Mizoguchi LP: 4000, Hand: 2, SC: 0→1
Serena LP: 4000, Hand: 6, SC: 0→1

"From my hand, I activate the Speed Spell: Overboost! This card increases my Speed Counters by four, but at the End Phase, my Speed Counters are reduced to 0!" Serena played a Speed Spell.

Serena SC: 1→5

"Next, I activate the Speed Spell: Speed Fusion! When I have four or more Speed Counters, I can perform a Fusion Summon using monsters on my field or in my hand! I fuse Moonlight Blue Cat and Moonlight Purple Butterfly in my hand!" Both the cat and butterfly appeared and entered the spiraling vortex.

"Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Butterfly with violet poison! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come to me! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Moonlight Cat Dancer (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" Serena summoned her Cat Dancer.

"Next, I use a Speed Counter to activate the Magic Card: Moonlight Perfume! This card allows me to Special Summon one Moonlight monster in my Graveyard! Revive! Moonlight Blue Cat (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)!" Serena brought back her blue kitty.

Serena SC: 5→4

"Next, I activate Moonlight Blue Cat's effect! If this monster is Special Summoned, I can have one Moonlight monster on my field have its Attack Points doubled! I choose Cat Dancer!"

Moonlight Cat Dancer (ATK: 2400→4800)

"Oh wow! Serena not only performed a Fusion Summon but she managed to double its power!" Melissa commentated.

"Battle! Moonlight Cat Dancer, attack Driven Daredevil! Full Moon Crest!" Cat Dancer attacked Driven Daredevil and damaged Mizoguchi.

Mizoguchi LP: 4000→1600

"Impressive, but that's not enough!" Mizoguchi grunted. "I activate Driven Daredevil's effect! Determined Will!" Driven Daredevil pushed Cat Dancer away. "When a monster with higher attack points attacks Driven Daredevil, it's not destroyed, and your attacking monster is destroyed!" Driven Daredevil cut through Cat Dancer.

"Damn it." Serena cursed.

"Next, I activate the Continuous Trap: Master and Servant's Resolve! When a monster effect destroys a monster during the Battle Phase, its controller takes damage equal to its Attack Points!" Mizoguchi revealed as a sharp blade headed for Serena.

"Cat Dancer's Attack Points were 4800!" Dennis's eyes widened.

"If this connects Serena will lose right away!" Asuka said.

"I use another Speed Counter to activate the Quick-Play Magic: Moonlight Blessing! By banishing a Moonlight monster in my Graveyard, I can gain Life Points equal to its Attack Points! I banish Cat Dancer!"

Serena LP: 4000→6400, SC: 4→3

The knife then pierced Serena's stomach and she cried from the pain as she hunched over.

Serena LP: 6400→1600

"Then, I'm able to draw one card for each 1000 points of damage! I took 4800 points of damage, so I draw four cards!" Serena drew her four cards.

"She survived…" Rua sighed in relief.

"But now she lost so many Life Points on her own turn." Crow observed.

"I can't believe that he damaged me so much on my own turn." Serena thought as she looked at her hand. "I'll have to make the best defense to damage him."

"From my hand, I activate the effect of Moonlight Yellow Marten (DEF: 2000, LV: 4), by returning a Moonlight card on my field to my hand, I can Special Summon this monster in Defense Position!" A marten appeared in blue and pink clothes and struck a pose.

"I set three cards and end my turn!" Serena finished her turn. "At this moment, due to Overboost's effect, my Speed Counters are reduced to 1!"

Serena SC: 3→1

"My turn! Draw!" Mizoguchi drew his card.

Mizoguchi LP: 1600, Hand: 3, SC: 1→2
Serena LP: 1600, Hand: 1, SC: 1→2

"During the Standby Phase, I take 1000 points of damage due to Master and Servant's Resolve's effect!" A sharp blade impaled Mizoguchi.

Mizoguchi LP: 1600→600

"Mizoguchi is now really low on Life Points. If Serena can survive this turn, she will have an automatic win against Mizoguchi on his next turn!" Melissa said.

"I'm ending this Duel right now! I summon True Six Warmen – Kageki (ATK: 200, LV: 3)!" A samurai with four arms and wielding four swords appeared.

"When this monster is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Six Warmen monster from my hand! I Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Impersonator of the Six Warmen (ATK: 400, LV: 2)!" A small warrior in green robes appeared.

"I'm Tuning my Level 3 Kageki with my Level 2 Impersonator of the Six Warmen!" Impersonator turned into two green rings and Kageki flew through them and became three stars.

"Legendary warrior of the Warmen, appear before us and cut down the followers of evil! Synchro Summon! Appear, True Six Warmen – Shien (ATK: 2500, LV: 5)!" A samurai wearing orange and gold armor appeared with a sword.

"Another Synchro Monster." Serena glared.

"I set one card! Battle! Driven Daredevil, attack Moonlight Yellow Marten!" Drive Daredevil raised its swords against Yellow Marten.

"I won't let you! I activate my Trap Card: Holy Barrier – Mirror Force! When an opposing player's monster declares an attack, this card destroys all monsters on their field that's in Attack Position!" Serena revealed.

"Alright!" Jonouchi cheered.

"With this, Serena will win!" Yuzu smiled.

"You're naïve! I activate Shien's effect! Once per turn, when an opponent activates a Magic or Trap Card, I can negate the activation of that card and destroy it!" Shien sliced through Mirror Force allowing Driven Daredevil to keep attacking.

"I've figured you would do something like that." Serena smiled.

"What?" Mizoguchi gasped.

"But what's the point since it's in Defense Position?!" Mizoguchi asked.

"Chain-Attached Spike-Shield has another effect! If the equipped monster battles while in Defense Position, it gains Defense Points equal to its Attack Points! So Yellow Marten gains 1300 Defense Points!"

Yellow Marten (DEF: 2000→3300)

"3300 Defense Points?!" Mizoguchi's eyes widened.

"The battle is already in progress! Yellow Marten push him back!" Yellow Marten used its shield to push back Driven Daredevil and Mizoguchi grunted as he took damage.

Mizoguchi LP: 600→0

"It's over! Serena has defeated Mizoguchi with a Defense Combo!" Melissa cheered.

"Way to go, Serena!"

"That was awesome!"

The audience cheered for Serena.

"I've lost, but my cards will be past on to my teammates." Mizoguchi said.

"I won't let you pass those monsters off! I activate the Trap Card: New Moon! By releasing a Moonlight monster on my field, I Special Summon a banished Moonlight Fusion Monster and destroy all monsters whose Level is equal or lower than it! I release Yellow Marten! Come back to us, Moonlight Cat Dancer (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" Moonlight Cat Dancer reappeared.

"Moonlight Cat Dancer is Level 7; therefore, Shien and Driven Daredevil are destroyed!" The darkness of the new moon engulfed both warriors and they disappeared.

"Very well done." Mizoguchi bowed before going back to the pit while Serena kept riding.

"Forgive me, my lady." Mizoguchi apologized and took off the team sticker.

"No, you did your absolute best." Sherry said. "It just means they're stronger than we thought."

"Even so, we can't lose." Misty took the sticker and placed it on her arm. "We came here with a goal. And we will achieve it no matter what." Misty closed her visor and raced off.

"And now Team Paris's second wheeler is fashion designer, Misty Lola! How will she be able to handle Serena and her Moonlight monsters.

Watching from the roof of the arena was Divine. "Report in." Divine spoke to his Duel Disk.

"Strike team is ready as soon as the Duel reaches a conclusion." Shinji answered.

"Sir, we are ready to attack the Security network, all we need is your signal." Another person answered.

"Enjoy this Duel, Neo Domino City. For this will be the last one that you all enjoy." Divine gave a sinister smile.

And that's the end of Chapter 17. Not much of a Duel but this was to set things up for the Revolution Arc. It will be similar to that of the Ghost Battle Royale arc that was set up in 5D's but with the Arcadia Movement and Shinji's Revolution that he went on about in the original ARC-V.
