Field: Krebons (ATK: 1200, LV: 2), Bee Force – Azusa the Spirit Bow (ATK: 2200, LV: 5), 2 Bee Force – Pin the Bullseyes, Continuous Trap: Bee Force Nest, 4 set cards.
"It's my turn! Draw!" Crow drew his card. "Krebons has an effect that lets the user pay 800 Life Points to negate an attack. And if I attack one of the Pin the Bullseyes, Shinji's card will negate the attack and end the Battle Phase."
Crow looked at his hand. "Alright, I can use this."
"I summon Black Feather – Tornado the Reverse Wind (ATK: 1000, LV: 4)!" Crow summoned a Black Feather that release a powerful tornado. "When this monster is summoned while my opponent controls a Special Summoned monster, I can Special Summon one Black Feather Tuner monster in my Graveyard! Revive! Breeze the Zephyr (ATK: 1100, LV: 3)!" Crow brought back Breeze.
"And due to the Continuous Magic: Black Whirlwind, I add Black Feather – Oroshi the Squall to my hand!" Crow added another card to his hand.
"I'm Tuning my Level 4 Tornado the Reverse Wind with my Level 3 Breeze the Zephyr!" Breeze the Zephyr turned into three green rings and Tornado the Reverse Wind flew through them and became four stars.
"Spread your jet-black wings, and storm forth in tandem with the roaring thunder! A slash of lightning! Synchro Summon! Cascade, Assault Black Feather - Raikiri the Sudden Shower (ATK: 2600, LV: 7)!" Crow summoned Raikiri.
"Since I have a Black Feather monster on my field, I can Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Black Feather – Oroshi the Squall (ATK: 400, LV: 1)!" Crow summoned another Black Feather.
"Another Synchro…" Divine observed.
"Not yet. I activate Raikiri's effect! I can destroy one card for every Black Feather monster on the field. I have three, so I destroy both Pin the Bullseyes and Krebons!" Crow declared.
"Alright, with this, Shinji can't use his Trap to end the Battle Phase!" Aki smiled.
Raikiri swung its sword and created an arc that headed for the specified monsters.
"I activate my Trap Card: Psychic Shift! When an effect that destroys cards is activated while I have a Psychic monster on my field, I can redirect one target to a monster on the opponent's field!" Divine revealed.
"What?!" Crow's eyes widened.
"I shift one of the Pin the Bullseyes targets to Armored Wing!" Raikiri's slash was cut and reversed and it destroyed Armored Wing while the other Pin the Bullseye got destroyed along with Krebons.
"Damn it…" Crow cursed. "I'm Tuning my Level 7 Raikiri with my Level 1 Oroshi!" Oroshi turned into a single green ring while Raikiri flew through it and became seven stars.
"Black and red wings that contain dreams, appear before us with the inherited powers of your comrades! Synchro Summon! Soar! Assault Black Feather – Dark Hurricane Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Crow summoned his dragon and his mark glowed.
"Looks like your serious about stopping me." Shinji saw the dragon.
"Shinji, this is not the time for revolution." Crow argued. "We should be uniting the Tops and Commons and helping each other prepare for Academia to attack!"
"You actually believe that crap your sister told you?" Shinji questioned.
"You've already seen proof! The different summon methods and the place where Rin went did not have this competitive society! Why can't you understand, Shinji?!" Crow shouted.
"I understand that you're a fool, Crow! You may have defeated me plenty of times in the past, but this time is different!" Shinji said.
"I activate Dark Hurricane Dragon's effect! I return Assault Black Feather – Raikiri the Rain Shower to my Extra Deck and have Dark Hurricane Dragon gains half its Attack Points and its monster effect!"
Dark Hurricane Dragon (ATK: 2800→4100)
"Dark Hurricane Dragon's effect which it inherited from Raikiri's activates! I can destroy one card for every Black Feather monster on my field! This time, I destroy Bee Force Nest!" Shinji's Trap was destroyed.
"Battle! Dark Hurricane Dragon, attack Azusa the Spirit Bow! Noble Hurricane Stream!" Dark Hurricane Dragon fired his roar attack and destroyed Azusa.
Divine/Shinji LP: 8000→6100
"I end my turn!" Crow finished.
Aki/Crow LP: 6800, (Aki Hand: 5, Crow Hand: 3)
Divine/Shinji LP: 6100, (Divine Hand: 2, Shinji Hand: 2)
"My turn! Draw!" Divine drew his card and smiled. "I drew a good card! I activate the Magic Card: Lightning Vortex! I discard one card from my hand and destroy all face-up monsters on my opponent's field!" Lightning started crashing down on the field.
"I activate my Trap Card: Black Dimension! This card banishes a Black Feather monster on my field until the End Phase of this turn!" Crow's dragon disappeared but Aki's Gigaplant and Botanical Lio were destroyed.
"Oh well, I summon Psycho Whorled (ATK: 1900, LV: 4)!" Divine summoned a snail like monster. "You'll regret not joining me! Psycho Whorled! Krebons! Direct Attack Aki!" Both Psychic monsters charged and they struck Aki knocking her off her feet and she landed on her back.
Aki/Crow LP: 6800→3700
"Aki! Are you alright?" Crow asked.
"Y-Yeah…" Aki winced as she sat up. "I activate my Trap Card: Blooming Season! When I take damage during the Battle Phase, this card allows me to Special Summon monsters whose Attack Points are equal or less than the damage I have taken from my hand!"
"I Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Night Rose Knight (ATK: 1000, LV: 3)! Dark Verger (ATK: 0, LV: 2)! And Evil Thorn (ATK: 100, LV: 1)!" Aki summoned three monsters. Her knight, a plant with sharp thorns and another plant that had a pair of eyes on it.
"Heh, it doesn't matter what monsters you bring out. The winners will be us." Divine smirked. "I end my turn!"
"At the End Phase, Assault Black Feather – Dark Hurricane Dragon returns to the field!" Crow's dragon reappeared.
"Any minute now, Roget will initiate the Zero Reverse Protocol, when that happens…" Divine looked at Shinji.
"Our revolution will be complete." Shinji nodded.
"Something is wrong. It's like they're not even trying to defeat us." Aki thought.
"What are you two planning?" Crow thought.
Aki/Crow LP: 3700, (Aki Hand: 2, Crow: Hand: 3)
Divine/Shinji LP: 6100, (Divine Hand: 0, Shinji Hand: 2)
"Either way, we can't let them win!" Aki thought. "My turn! Draw!" Aki drew her card. "I activate Evil Thorn's effect! By releasing this card, I can inflict 300 points of damage!" Evil Thorn fired its thorns at it was released, damaging Divine and Shinji.

"And then, I can Special Summon two Evil Thorns (ATK: 100, LV: 1) from my deck! But I can't use their effects!" Two more Evil Thorns appeared.
"I'm Tuning my Level 2 Dark Verger and two Level 1 Evil Thorns with my Level 3 Night Rose Knight!" Night Rose Knight turned into three green rings while Dark Verger and the Evil Thorns went through it and all together became four stars.
"Warm flames that engulf the entire world. Gentle-dark flower, set into bloom! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 7! Black Rose Psychic Dragon (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" Aki summoned her dragon and her marked glowed.
"I know your dragon's effect." Divine said. "All of the Plant-type monsters in your Graveyard are weak. Even if you attack Pin the Bullseye, we're still in the lead.
"Is that so?" Aki smiled.
"What?" Divine questioned.
"I activate my Trap Card: Synchro Stream! When there are two Synchro Monsters on the field, his card becomes an Equip Card to one of them. I choose Black Rose Psychic Dragon! With this, when Black Rose Psychic Dragon attacks, it gains Attack Points equal to another Synchro Monster's Attack Points! Give me your power, Crow!" Aki looked at Crow.
"You got it! Dark Hurricane Dragon's 2800 Attack Points are yours, Black Rose Psychic Dragon!"
Black Rose Psychic Dragon (ATK: 2400→5200)
"Battle! Black Rose Psychic Dragon, attack Pin the Bullseye! Black Psychic Gale!" Black Rose Psychic dragon fired its breath attack and it destroyed Shinji's monster and sending him flying.
Divine/Shinji LP: 5900→800
"I end my turn! At this moment, Synchro Stream's effect ends and Black Rose Psychic Dragon's Attack Points return to normal.
Black Rose Psychic Dragon (ATK: 5200→2400)
"Damn it…" Shinji sat up.
"Soon, Shinji. Soon." Divine smiled and Shinji smiled back.
"They're not worried even though they're losing…what's going on?" Aki wondered. She looked at her mark. "Everyone, I'm getting a bad feeling." She looked at Crow and he nodded.
"They're after something else. But what?" Crow thought.
Yuya vs Raider

Field: Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)
Both Clear Wings continued to growl at each other while Yuya and Raider focused on the other, waiting for one of them to make the first move.
"Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing's effect! When this card is Synchro Summoned, I can destroy all face-up monsters my opponent controls!" Supreme Clear Wing unleashed a wave of light from its wings.
"I activate Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect! When a Level 5 or higher monster activates its effect, Clear Wing can negate the effect and destroy it! Dichroic Mirror!" Clear Wing unleashed her attack.
"I won't lose to you!" Clear Wing declared.
"From my hand, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Supreme Backup! When a Supreme King monster on my field is targeted by an attack or effect, this card negates its destruction and Special Summons one Supreme King Dragon-type monster from my deck!" Both effects ended with neither one gone.
"And I Special Summon a dragon you're most familiar with." Raider showed the card. "Appear Supreme King Servant Dragon Odd-Eyes (ATK: 2500, LV: 8, PS: 4)!" Raider brought out the Supreme King version of Odd-Eyes.
"So, it has a version of me too?" Odd-Eyes's sprit appeared.
"You need to be careful, Yuya." Odd-Eyes Yuya appeared. "I hate to admit it but the Supreme King version of the dragons is much stronger than what you think."
"Battle! Supreme King Dragon Servant Clear Wing, attack Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" Supreme Clear Wing charged. "At this moment, I activate Supreme Clear Wing's other effect! When this card attacks another monster, I can negate the attack and destroy the targeted monster and the opponent takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points!" Supreme Clear Wing encased itself in wind and charged.
"Get ready!" Odd-Eyes Yuya advised.
"On it! I activate my Trap Card: Sibling Rescue! This card allows me to negate the destruction of one Dragon-type monster on my field and allows me to Special Summon another Dragon-type monster from my hand! Appear! Odd-Eyes!" Odd-Eyes Appeared and pushed Clear Wing out of the way to avoid Supreme Clear Wing's effect.
"Thanks, little bro." Clear Wing thanked.
"I'm not losing you again." Odd-Eyes declared.
"So, you avoided it. I set two cards and end my turn!" Raider finished.

"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "This card…I summon the Tuner Monster, Tuning Magician (ATK: 0, LV: 1)!" Yuya summoned the card Sam gave him. "When this monster is summoned, I take 400 points of damage while my opponent gains 400 Life Points!" Tuning Magician cast her spell.

Raider LP: 4000→4400
"Increasing my Life Points, huh? Looks like you're planning something big." Raider complimented.
"Clear Wing, Odd-Eyes, it's time to evolve!" Yuya declared as his signer mark glowed. "I'm Tuning my Level 7 Clear Wing Synchro Dragon with my Level 1 Tuning Magician!" Tuning Magician turned into a single green ring and Clear Wing flew through it and became seven stars.
"Shine the wings that store the holy light, and strike down your enemies with its radiance! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8, Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Clear Wing had evolved into a more powerful version of itself.
"Next, since I have a Synchro Monster on my field, I can Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Stardust Magician (ATK: 100, LV: 1)!" Yuya brought out a tiny girl magician that was dressed in stardust robes.
"I'm Tuning my Level 7 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with my Level 1 Stardust Magician!" Stardust Magician turned into a single green ring and Odd-Eyes flew through it and became seven stars.
"Dragon with dual-colored eyes, race through the cosmos at the speed of light to find eternal freedom! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Odd-Eyes Galactic Dragon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Yuya summoned out his Odd-Eyes Synchro Monster.
"Battle! Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, attack Supreme Clear Wing! Krystallos Edge of Gale!" Crystal Wing charged.
"Fool! I activate Supreme Clear Wing's effect! Once per turn, when an attack is declared using this card, I can negate the attack and destroy the monster my opponent controls and they take damage equal to that monster's Attack Points!" Raider revealed.
"I activate Crystal Wing's effect! Once per turn, I can negate the activation of a monster's effect and destroy it and this card gains Attack Points equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points!" Yuya shouted. Both Synchro Dragons clashed once more.
"Take this!" Crystal Wing successfully hit Supreme Clear Wing. "I did it!"
"Don't count on it! From my hand, I activate the monster effect of the Tuner Monster, Speedroid Forager (ATK: 0, LV: 1)! When a Synchro Monster on my field is targeted by an effect, I can Special Summon this card and negate the effect!" Raider summoned a forager that protected Supreme Clear Wing.
"Next, I activate my Trap Card: Urgent Tuning! This card allows me to perform a Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase! I'm Tuning my Level 7 Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing with my Level 1 Speedroid Forager!" Speedroid forager turned into a single green ring and Supreme Clear Wing flew through it.
"Synchro Dragon that serves the Supreme King, evolve and crush all that go against your lord! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Supreme King General Dragon Crystal Wing!" Raider brought out a darker version of Crystal Wing.
"Oh, come on! He has a Crystal Wing too!" Yugo complained.
"Wow, this guy is using your deck better than you did." Yuri said.
"As much as I hate to say this, Yuri's right." Yuto admitted.
"Knowing that makes me even more furious!" Yugo growled.
"I can have Crystal Wing attack and use its other effect to gain Supreme Crystal Wing's Attack Points since it's a Level 5 or higher monster. But I don't know what its effect is…in that case." Yuya looked at Supreme Odd-Eyes
"Odd-Eyes Galactic Dragon, attack Supreme King Servant Dragon Odd-Eyes!" Yuya ordered and Odd-Eyes charged. "Spiral Galactic Strike!" Odd-Eyes Galactic Dragon dived towards Odd-Eyes.
"I activate my Continuous Trap: Burning Sonic! I target Supreme Odd-Eyes and negate Galactic Dragon's attack and have it gain 500 Attack Points!" Raider revealed his set card.
Supreme King Servant Dragon Odd-Eyes (ATK: 2500→3000)
"I know every move that you're gonna use before you know it." Raider declared. "Now, there's nothing more you can do. End your turn."
"I…end my turn." Yuya hated to admit it, but Raider was right. There's nothing he can do…for now at least.
But something was bothering him. He looked at his glowing dragon mark. "Are you trying to tell me something?" Yuya thought.
Rin and Rua vs Tony and Damon
Rin looked at her remaining cards. "Rua helped me, so this time I will help him." Rin looked at Rua who noticed her look and he smiled and she smiled back. "I set four cards and end my turn!"

"My turn! Draw!" Damon drew his card. "I activate my Trap Card: Planet Pollutant Virus! I release an Alien monster and destroy all monsters that don't have an A-Counter on it! I release Alien Soldier and destroy Cyclone Dragon and Deformer Staplen!"
"I activate the Continuous Trap: Cyclone Wall! When I have a Wind Witch monster on my field, once per turn, I can negate the activation of a card that would destroy cards!" A cyclone wall appeared and protected both monsters.
"But that's only once per turn! I summon the Tuner Monster, Alien-Monite (ATK: 500, LV: 1)!" Damon summoned a Monite. "When this card is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Alien monster in my Graveyard! Revive Alien Soldier (ATK: 1900, LV: 4)!"
"I'm Tuning my Level 4 Alien Soldier with my Level 1 Alien-Monite!" Alien-Monite turned into a single green ring and Alien Soldier flew through it and became four stars. "Synchro Summon! Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar (ATK: 2600, LV: 5)!"
"Next, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: "A" Cell Recombination Device! I send one Alien monster from my deck to the Graveyard and place A-Counters on a monster that is equal to the Level of the monster I sent! I send the Level 6 Alien Overlord to the Graveyard! And Gol'gar gains 6 A-Counters!"

"Next, I activate Gol'gar's effect! Once per turn, I can remove 2 A-Counters and destroy one card my opponent controls! I destroy Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon!" Gol'gar fired a blast at Cyclone Dragon and it was destroyed.
"I'm sorry, Cyclone Dragon." Rin apologized.
"Next, I activate the Continuous Magic: Abyssal Serpent Flood! I send one monster from my hand to the Graveyard and Special Summon one Reptile monster that has a different Attribute than the monster that was sent! I discard the Wind-Attribute to revive the Dark-Attribute Alien Revenger (ATK: 2200, LV: 6)!" Damon brought out a large alien with multiple arms.
"Alien Revenger's effect! Once per turn, I can place an A-Counter on a monster my opponent controls! I choose Staplen!"
Deformer Staplen (A-Counter: 1)
"Battle! Alien Revenger, attack Staplen! Thanks to Revenger's effect, Staplen losses 300 Attack Points when it battles an Alien monster!" Damon smirked.
Deformer Staplen (ATK: 1400→1100)
Staplen was destroyed by Revenger and Rua grunted as he took damage.
Rin/Rua LP: 8000→6900
"Staplen's effect activates! When this card is destroyed while in Attack Position, one monster on the opponent's field losses 300 Attack Points." Rua panted.
Gol'gar (ATK: 2600→2300)
"Now for the big one! Gol'gar! Direct Attack Rua!" Gol'gar went after Rua and he stepped back.
"I'll take that blow!" Rin shouted. "I activate my Trap Card: Ties that Bind! This card negates a Direct Attack, but I must pay half my Life Points!" The card protected Rua but Rin felt pain as she paid the cost.
Rin/Rua LP: 6900→3450
"Then, I can Special Summon a Synchro Monster from my Graveyard as well as another Synchro Monster that is the same type as the monster from my Graveyard from the Extra Deck of any player of my choosing!" Rin revealed.
"Revive! Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)! And from Rua's Extra Deck, Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon (ATK: 2100, LV: 8)!" Rin brought back her dragon along with Ruka's dragon from Rua's deck and her mark glowed.
"To think she would use my attack to bring out powerful monsters…" Damon gritted his teeth but then smiled. "But it won't change that I still have the stronger monster, and even if they could destroy it." Damon looked at Tony.
"My set card is Undead Apocalypse. When a monster declares a direct attack, this card will banish all Zombie monsters in my Graveyard and for each one, inflict 1000 points of damage! With four in my Graveyard, and their Life Points at 3450…" Tony smirked.
"We won!" Tony and Damon thought.
"I don't like the look on their faces…" Rua looked at his hand. "I can summon Power Tool Revolution Dragon with these cards…but…is that enough?"
"Rua." Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon spoke. "You mustn't doubt yourself now. Remember, you have a mission. You have to save Ruka."
"Ruka…that's right…I can't lose here. Because heroes don't lose." Rua then heard a loud heartbeat and his mark glowed differently. "I…no…we will protect what's important to us!"
"Rua, you got this!" Rin cheered. "I've got your back!"
"My turn! Draw!" Rua drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: One for One! By discarding one monster from my hand to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon a Level 1 monster from my hand or deck!" Rua discarded a monster. "I Special Summon Deformer Mobaphon (ATK: 100, LV: 1)!"
"Mobaphon's effect! Dial on!" The numbers on Mobaphon light up before landing on four. "I check the top four cards of my deck and if any of them are a Level 4 or lower Deformer monster, I can Special Summon it!" Rua checked the cards. "I Special Summon Deformer Chakan (ATK: 600, LV: 3) in Defense Position!" Rua brought out Chakan.
"When Chakan is in Defense Position, it inflicts 300 points of damage!"" Chakan fired at blast at Tony and Damon and they grunted.
Tony/Damon LP: 3800→3500
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Junk Box! This card allows me to revive a Level 4 or lower Deformer monster from my Graveyard! Revive! Tuner Monster, Deformer Remocon (ATK: 300, LV: 3)!" Rua summoned Remocon.
"I'm Tuning my Level 3 Deformer Chakan and Level 1 Deformer Mobaphon with my Level 3 Deformer Remocon!" Deformer Remocon became three green rings and Chakan and Mobaphon flew through them and together became four stars.
"Gather your love and courage and make a stand to change the world! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 7! Power Tool Revolution Dragon (ATK: 2300, LV: 7)!" Power Tool appeared and the heartbeat was echoed.
"Wh-What is that?" Damon looked around.
"A heartbeat?" Tony guessed.
"Could it be?" Rin looked at Power Tool.
"Not much longer!" Rua declared. "Power Tool Revolution Dragon's effect! By banishing a Deformer Tuner monster in my Graveyard, I can add one Equip Magic from my deck to my hand!" Rua added a card to his hand.
"And I still have a Normal Summon! I summon the Tuner Monster, Deformer Lighton (ATK: 200, LV: 1)!" A flashlight appeared on the field.
"I'm Tuning my Level 7 Power Tool Revolution Dragon with my Level 1 Deformer Lighton!" Deformer Lighton turned into a single green ring and Power Tool flew through them and Rua's mark glowed.
"The echoing courage and power that resides in your heart! Unleash it to break through your armored prison and protect the planet! Synchro Summon! Appear! Guardian of the Crimson Dragon's servants! Life Resolution Dragon (ATK: 2900, LV: 8)!" Power Tool Revolution Dragon's armor shattered to reveal a bright yellow and with the pattern of the Crimson Dragon marked all over its body and it released a roar.
"This is…Power Tool's true form." Rin's eyes widened.
"Just as its name states, this dragon will do whatever it takes for its comrades! Just as I'll do whatever it takes to stop your revolution!" Rua revealed.
"But, even if you destroy one of my monster's, we'll still have Life Points!" Damon pointed out.
"When Life Resolution Dragon is Synchro Summoned using Power Tool Revolution Dragon as material, it can destroy monsters equal to the Synchro Materials that were used to Synchro Summon Power Tool Revolution Dragon!" Rua smiled.
"What?!" Damon gasped.
"Power Tool Revolution Dragon used three monsters to be summoned, so Life Resolution Dragon can destroy three monsters!" Rin realized.
Life Resolution Dragon's wings glowed rainbow colored and it unleashed a light that burned all of Damon's Alien monsters and destroyed them. "Damn it…" Damon cursed. "But…"
"We'll still win. Just attack and it's over!" Tony thought.
"I activate the Equip Magic: Giganticize! I equip it to Life Resolution Dragon! If my Life Points are lower than the opponent's, this card doubles the original Attack Points of the Equipped Monster!" Life Resolution Dragon roared as it gained power.
Life Resolution Dragon (ATK: 2900→5800)
"Battle! Life Resolution Dragon! Direct Attack!" Rua declared and Life Resolution Dragon flew into the air.
"No, you don't! I activate my Counter Trap: Undead Apocalypse! This card negates your monster's attack and by banishing all Zombie-type monsters in my Graveyard, you take 1000 points of damage for each one! It's over!" Tony played his set card.
"Did you forget me?!" Rin got Tony's attention. "Counter Trap: Cyclone Barrier! By sending one Magic or Trap card on my field to the Graveyard, I can negate the activation of a Magic or Trap card on the field and destroy it!" Rin's card destroyed Tony's.
"I won't let you do whatever you want anymore! Go! Life Resolution Dragon! Tenacity Spirit Howl!" Life Resolution Dragon unleashed a gold attack that struck both Tony and Damon and they were blown away.
Tony/Damon LP: 3500→0
Winner: Rin/Rua
"We did it!" Rua jumped in joy.
"Hell, yeah we did!" Rin jumped as well.
Near Duel Palace
Jack saw the attack from far away and smiled. "It looks like we have a victory." He then turned back to the other rioters.
"Feel the wrath of my soul!" Jack showed his glowing mark. "Infernal Crimson Hell Burning!" Red Demon's Dragon Scarlight let out his breath attack and knocked all of the rioters out cold.
Aki and Crow vs Divine and Shinji
"Tony! Damon!" Shinji cried out.
"Looks like our friends did it." Aki smiled.
"Yeah…" Crow nodded. "I'm sorry, Tony, Damon. But this is for the best."
"Damn it!" Shinji cursed loudly.
Sector Security Headquarters
"Are all the preparations ready?" Roget asked an officer with Ushio and Mikage beside him.
"Almost sir. We just need to manually insert this code into the main support pillar." An officer held out a flash drive.
"Very well. I will…" Roget was about to take the flash drive when the door opened to reveal an officer walking in.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Ushio asked. "You're supposed to—"
The officer pulled out a Duel Disk and summoned Psychic Sword and slashed at Ushio. "Ushio!" Mikage cried as she saw her partner go down.
"A Psychic Duelist…" Roget gritted his teeth. "Hurry give me the code."
"Oh no you don't!" The Psychic Duelist played Fireball and it launched itself at Roget, forcing him to cover.
"Director!" The officer was about to go help, but the Psychic Duelist cut him down and he took the code. "You have our thanks!" The Psychic Duelist used another card to create a smokescreen and disappeared.
Ushio coughed as he held his injured stomach. "Ushio, hang in there." Mikage tried to stop the blood.
"Forget me. The people…you have to help the people." Ushio passed out.
"I need a medical team! Two officers down!" Roget called. "Elite Officer Mikage, get that code back! We can't let them activate Protocol Zero Reverse!"
"But you said…" Mikage was confused.
"It was meant to scare those Revolutionists to surrender! I never intended to go through with it!" Roget revealed. "You must stop them from reaching the main pillar!"
"Yes sir!" Mikage saluted. "You better pull through, Ushio!" Mikage said to her partner before running out.
"Patch me through to the media!" Roget ordered the other working officers.
Aki and Crow vs Divine and Shinji
Divine's Duel Disk made a sound and Divine smiled. "We'll let you have this victory." Divine forfeited the Duel and ran away.
Winner: Aki/Crow
"Wait!" Aki shouted.
"Tony…Damon…next time I see you Crow…you're dead!" Shinji ran after Divine.
"Shinji, wait!" Crow called out.
"They just left like that. Why?" Aki wondered.
"Ladies and gentlemen of Neo Domino City, you're attention please." Roget appeared in screens all over the city.
Yuya vs Raider
"Roget?" Yuya looked at the screen.
"So, that's the traitor?" Raider thought.
"I am Jean-Michel Roget, the Director of Sector Security and I have made a grave mistake. Please remain calm as I explain. I had a plan to scare these Revolutionists into surrendering by threatening to initiate Protocol Zero Reverse."
"Zero Reverse?" Yuya questioned.
"Protocol Zero Reverse is a last resort protocol should Neo Domino City ever be attacked by terrorists in large numbers. But this protocol is only supposed to be activated once all of the residents of Neo Domino City were safely evacuated and now it's in the hands of Divine, the leader of the Revolutionists." Roget explained.
Rua and Rin
"They have the code to the pillar?" Rua was confused.
"What kind of code?" Rin wondered.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the code for the pillar is a separation code. The pillar supporting all of the Tops' cities would collapse, destroying the slums below by crashing the Tops into it." Roget revealed.
"What?!" Rua gasped.
"That would mean all of the Tops and Commons would be destroyed!" Rin was shocked.
The Other Guardians
"And I'm afraid we have more than the Revolutionists to worry about." Roget revealed. "A group known as Academia has been spotted in Sector Z. Here's the footage." The screens showed Kaiser and Darkness appearing with soldiers.
"Academia!" Shun glared.
"So, they're here as well." Jonouchi said.
"People of Neo Domino City. I am issuing an evacuation order to these locations." Roget showed a map of the city. "Make your way to the yellow areas, those are the areas that are safe from the impact of Zero Reverse. The elderly and children will be given top priority. All officers will help evacuate the citizens while also dealing with the Revolutionists." Roget ordered.
"I won't sugarcoat and say that we will stop Divine or Academia, but we will do everything in our power to protect the people of this city. I humbly ask any Duelists to volunteer to defend the main pillar. Time is of the essence, good luck and may God be with you." The message ended.
The people of Neo Domino all started to panic and they were all trying to leave to get to the safe areas but there were other Psychic Duelists waiting for them and started inflicting harm no matter if they were Tops or Commons anymore.
Yuya vs Raider
"I guess our Duel will have to be postponed." Raider cancelled the Duel. "I don't know about you, but I don't feel like dying today." Raider played a card that created a shockwave, forcing Yuya to defend himself.
"Wait!" Yuya called out.
"Relax, Yuya…" Raider said. "After all, Otano—" Yuya couldn't hear the rest as his head started to hurt and when the pain went away, Raider was gone.
"Raider…" Yuya shook his head. "I have to get back to Rin and Rua." Yuya ran off. As he did, Odd-Eyes Yuya had a sad look on his face as he looked at where Raider stood.
"Why? Why did you become like this? What happened to the Duelist that I admired to become? What happened to you…Senpai?" Odd-Eyes Yuya thought.
Rin and Rua
"Rin! Rua!" Yuya called out as he ran to them.
"Yuya, are you okay?" Rin asked.
"I'm fine…for now at least…" Yuya admitted.
"I can't believe they're gonna drop the Tops on the Commons." Rin said.
Yuya's Duel Disk went off and he saw it was Yuzu. "Yuzu?"
"Yuya, it's getting bad!" Yuzu said. "Everyone's panicking and those Psychic Duelists are attacking anyone who crosses them. It's not about Tops or Commons anymore."
"Where are you guys?" Rin asked.
"We're helping evacuate people to the safe zone, but we had to split up to cover more ground." Asuka's voice was heard.
More calls appeared on Yuya's Duel Disk. "Good news is that Security doesn't see us as enemies now." Sawatari pointed out.
"The bad news is that there's too many people to evacuate!" Dennis pointed out.
"We saw some Duelists heading for the main pillar, but I don't they're gonna be enough to stop Shinji and Divine." Crow said.
"Wait, Rua. You can block them from inputting the code, right?" Rio asked. Yuya and Rin looked at Rua, but he didn't say anything.
"Rua?" Rio asked again.
"Rua, hey. Are you okay?" Yuya asked his friend.
"U-Uh, yeah…I can stop it…but I have to get there first…" Rua mumbled.
"Huh? What was that, Rua? Can you stop it?" Jonouchi asked.
"Rua?" Rin was confused as to why Rua wasn't his normal self. He was so happy when they won, but when Roget announced what Divine was planning, it was like the life was sucked out of him.
"Where is Ruka, Rua? Where is she?" Aki spoke.
"Aki…" Rua uttered.
"I'll go find her and I'll take her to safety! Just tell me where she is so I can help her! I promise she'll be safe!" Aki promised.
"Sh-She's in Tops Section A. Penthouse 10." Rua answered.
"Okay, I'll get her! You just try to stop Divine! You can do it, I know it!" Aki encouraged.
"Don't worry, we'll be with him." Rin said.
"Okay guys. Rua, Rin and I will head to the main pillar to stop Divine and Shinji. Rio, Sawatari, Dennis, and Serena will continue helping with the evacuation. Yuzu, Ruri, Shun, Crow, Uncle Jonouchi and Asuka will stop the Psychic Duelists or Academia from slowing us down. And Aki will get Ruka to safety. Protecting the people is our main priority!" Yuya said.
"Roger!" Everyone agreed.
"Come on, let's go!" Yuya, Rin and Rua ran to the main support pillar while everyone else went to do the tasks assigned to them.
Main Pillar
Volunteers were ready to defend the pillar as Shinji and Divine charged with their army of Duelists. "Push through! Our Revolution is almost fulfilled!" Shinji rallied the army and they all charged.
"I better give these people their fill of Enjoy." Enjoy Chojiro readied his Duel Disk.
"Even though I am not Security, I will do everything in my power to protect the people!" Kazama declared.
"Are you sure you're up to this? You have yet to master it?" Godwin looked at the person next to him.
"I failed during the Friendship Cup to help my friends. I will defend this pillar with my life!" Gongenzaka released dark aura.
And that is the end of Chapter 21. What did you all think of it? Expect the next few chapters to be heavy as this is a literal fight to the death.
Roget is still the bad guy, it may seem that he does care about the people of the Neo Domino, but deep down he doesn't. He just has to let the people think that he does care and see him as the good guy.
