"What are all of you doing here?" asked Nanpire as she and Grandpap walked up, surprised by their family's sudden appearance in their home.

"Is Vee here?" asked Poppy.

"Yes, she's up in her room," said Grandpap as Poppy ran up the stairs without wasting any time.

"What's going on?" asked Nanpire.

"Let's move to the scare room to talk this over," said Boris. Up in her room, Vee was looking out a window and already looking a few years younger.

"I'm not hungry, Nan," said Vee when she heard a knock at the door. She didn't even turn her head to look in the direction of it.

"Good, because I'm not her and don't have any food with me," said Poppy while opening the door and walking into the room.

"What are you doing here?!" asked a surprised Vee who finally turned away from the window.

"I'm here to bring you home along with returning this," said Poppy as she held out the necklace.

"Weren't you creeped out by my necklace after finding out what it does, and shouldn't you be hanging out with your secret boyfriend today?" asked Vee.

"First off, Demi is an idiot, and I don't have a boyfriend, and secondly why would you think I was creeped out by your necklace?" asked Poppy.

"The day you found out about it you ran away, and then you were avoiding me yesterday so…," said a surprised Vee as she cut herself off.

"But if it's not because of either of those things, then why were you avoiding me?" she asked.

"Because I was embarrassed from where you fell on me and our faces were so close," said Poppy.

"Why would you be embarrassed by that?" asked Vee.

"Because I love you," said Poppy who seemed close to crying.
