Downstairs, everyone was sitting around in the scare room when Vee and Poppy came into the room.
"Vee," said Oxana as she and Boris ran to hug her.
"What made you think running away from home was a good ideal?" asked Boris while stepping back and looking at her with a disappointed expression.
"I'm sorry, mama, papa, I was upset and not thinking," said Vee as she looked at the ground from feeling too guilty to look the two of them in their faces.
"That's not a good enough reason, batkins," said Boris.
"When we get home, you are grounded for a week, so no friends, lab, or night flights," said Oxana.
"Guess that also extends to my new girlfriend too," said Vee while turning to look at Poppy.
"Whoa, did you confess to her?" asked Demi.
"After I confessed to her first," said Poppy as she walked forward and took hold of Vee's hand.
"Really?!" asked an excited Grandpap.
"Then we need to celebrate this moment," he said.
"Grandpap I was just grounded, so we can't celebrate," said Vee as she looked over at her parents.
"Seeing how we said that will start when we get home, I think we can push the grounding off till tomorrow," said Oxana.
"Any chance I could get a change of clothes seeing how I rushed here in my PJs?" asked Poppy.
"Of course, Poppy dear," said Nanpire as she used magic to decorate the castle at the same time it gave Poppy a monsterish outfit.
"Your taste in style is amazing, Nanpire," said Poppy. Her outfit was a purple t-shirt, black and gray spider web jacket, and a black skirt with jack-o-lanterns around the hem of it.
