On Sunday, they started with the episode Livin' Large. Just like yesterday, the two of them were curled up on the couch together with Marinette's head resting against Adrien's chest. They only had about 6 episodes left and most of them were Marinette's favorites because of the Danny and Sam interactions.

During a few episodes, she found herself squeezing Adrien's hand when something cute happened. He didn't know if she was consciously squeezing his hand or if it was just a habit from her excitement for the characters, but he was happy to feel the gentle movements either way. He kissed the top of her head because that was what he could reach in their position.

"I love you," he told her in the brief lull between episodes. "I love spending time with you, and watching this show with you. Thank you for suggesting we watch it together. It's a cute show and there's no one I'd rather share this experience with than you." Marinette shifted so that she could meet Adrien's eyes.

"I love you, too, minou," she said with a bright smile on her face. "Thank you for agreeing to watch it with me, I've been wanting to rewatch the series, and introducing it to you has been even better than I thought it would be." She placed a hand on his cheek and leaned up to give him a soft kiss.

During the dream sequences in 'Frightmare,' Adrien could hear Marinette happily squeaking about the interactions between Danny and Sam. "I don't know if you could tell, but they were my One True Pairing when I was younger," Marinette admitted after the end of Sam's dream sequence.

"I had no idea," Adrien responded sarcastically before considering for a moment. "Are they not your OTP anymore?"

"Not my One True Pairing, I've grown up since I watched this show at like eleven years old. Now I just have multiple and I don't think I could choose just one at this point. I mean, if I'm asked to choose between them, my parents, Alya and Nino, Rena Rouge and Carapace, us, and every show I've seen since, I don't think I could."

He was going to argue that her One True Pairing should be the two of them, but he thought about it. "Well, as long as I get to stay paired with you, I'm happy with the two of us being anywhere on your list," he told her with a bright smile on his face. Marinette snuggled lovingly into him once again as the two of them continued the show.

The two of them got to the end of the series and Adrien was happy to hold Marinette while she quoted along with the end scene of the show, where Danny and Sam were talking while they watched over the city. The series finale was great, but Adrien understood why people wanted there to be more episodes.

Adrien knew that the girl in his arms was everything he would ever want in life. She was brave, sweet, kind, funny, and made him happy like no one else had ever managed to do. He knew that they were dating, but that didn't feel like it was enough to him. He wasn't going to propose to her, they had only really been dating for a little over a week, but he wanted something more significant than a label.

Adrien had an idea for how to make their relationship feel more real, but he knew he would need Marinette not to be around while he put his plan together. As much as he wanted her to stay, he wanted to put his plan into motion as soon as possible, so he mentioned that he had some things to do before their patrol that night.

Marinette agreed, knowing she should probably get started on some final projects for her classes and the two of them agreed to meet up on l'Arc de Triomphe at 21h00 that evening. Adrien ran a few errands before patrol that involved going to the bakery and going to a jewelry shop.

Adrien found a simple rose gold band with a gem on it that was almost the perfect color to match Marinette's eyes. He got home from running errands at 18h00 and knew that he needed to start getting ready. He was planning to head out by 19h00 to set up the surprise he had come up with for Marinette. Until then, though, he still had an hour to kill.

He didn't want to let his curiosity get the better of him after what Marinette had said before, but he couldn't help himself. He opened the app again to watch the episode that they skipped earlier. It was jarring, to say the least. The flashback scenes were viscerally uncomfortable for Adrien to watch and he understood why Marinette didn't want to see the episode the day before.

He almost wished that he hadn't, but watching the episode helped put Chat Blanc into perspective as he watched through it. Even if Chat Blanc was only half as unsettling as what he had seen in the show, he completely understood why it was enough to make her have nightmares. He wanted to hug her and he was ready to see her, but he knew he had things to do before that.

After the episode, he watched a clip on repeat that was just the final few scenes of Phantom Planet again, trying to bring his mood back up in preparation for that night. He bit his lip, wondering if his plan was too dorky for Marinette, knowing the two of them were superheroes that Paris probably expected to be cooler than they were.

He figured that she would appreciate it regardless and took off toward the Eiffel Tower at 19h15 after he transformed and made his Chat Noir hair look a little bit more Adrien for that evening's patrol. He spent about an hour and a half getting things ready while listening to videos on his phone to help him memorize what he was planning to say to her that night.

By 20h45, he was able to quote along with the video and he was hopeful that he would be able to remember what he was going to say when he was sitting with his girlfriend at the surprise a few hours after that. Even if he wasn't certain he would remember, though, he was certain that she would still love him regardless.
