The pups were running around enjoying the nice day, no missions, no training. It was a wonderful Saturday. Platinum and Wendy were going on a walk around town. A rally dog and two of his friends were growling and flirting with Wendy.

"Hey cutie, wanna hang out with me and my friends?" he asked.

"No thanks, I'd rather hang with my boyfriend." Wendy said and just walked away with Platinum by her side. "Plat it's so nice of you to think about going on a date around town."

"It's not a problem, I enjoy spending time with you." Platinum said as he licked her cheek. Once they got back to the Lookout, they heard Azul and Trixie yelling about fighting, so the two of them ran to stop it.

"What did you say you brat?" Trixie said.

"You heard me Trixie. You think that everything is about you even if it's not." Azul said. Zuma was holding her by the tail, while Rocky was doing the same and Chase was in the middle making sure that they didn't start attacking each other. Crystal saw her brother and Wendy walking in.

"Trixie Azul they are here." she said.

"Welcome Platinum and Wendy. Your dinner awaits." Azul and Trixie said. "Boys can you get off my tail." So Zuma and Rocky backed up. "Follow us please." Azul and Trixie walked while Platinum and Wendy were behind them as they walked into the Lookout. Once they got into the TV room they saw a table for two pups set up.

"This is wonderful." Wendy said. The other pups walked away so that they could have some alone time. "Platinum, did you do all this just for me?"

"Well I didn't know that the other pups did this, and I know I didn't ask them," he said.

"Really?" Wendy gave him a look. "Platinum, do you ever get emotional?"

"No, never did. Why?"

"Well can you start showing it, instead of being a stone."

"I'm not that emotional pup and you know that Wendy. I didn't even tell the pups that I was taking you out on a date. They must have figured it out, but they did a good job with this. Also I'm not a stone."

"Well you're being like one. So your plan today was just for us to go for a walk around town?"

"Yes."

"Do I have to be the romantic one in this relationship?"

"What are you talking about? I thought you would have enjoyed it, and just spent time with me."

"Platinum spice things up, do something that's fun." Wendy started to cry.

"Why are you crying?" he asked.

"Just leave me alone Platinum."

"As your boyfriend, if you get upset I want to help. Tell me Wendy."

"You haven't been that much of a boyfriend lately. You spend more time with Chase doing god knows what, and less time with me. This was the first date we ever had once we got to Adventure Bay." Platinum just looked at her. He felt something in his body was broken. He just didn't know what. "What do you have no words to say since you know I'm right?"

"If you think I haven't been that much of a good boyfriend then I guess we can just break up, go our different ways and find someone else." Platinum said, looking down at the ground. Then he looked at his collar. "Chase come in."

"Hey Platinum what's up?" Chase said.

"The same area tonight at 10."

"You got it. See you there. Chase out."

"I hope you enjoy the rest of dinner Wendy, and it was nice spending years with you." Platinum said and walked out the room, leaving Wendy in the room by herself. Later that night, Chase and Platinum went out without telling anyone. They went to an open area and started their training. In the morning, Wendy woke up and noticed that Platinum and Chase weren't there but instead of calling Ryder or Cleo she just went back to sleep. So when the rest of the pups woke up, they noticed that Platinum and Chase weren't there, so they went to wake up Ryder.

"Ryder wake up," said Duke.

"Morning pups, what's up?" Ryder said as he rubbed his eyes.

"Platinum and Chase are both gone," said Marshall. Ryder got up.

"What?!" He walked downstairs, looked around and saw that Wendy was asleep. Then the Lookout doors opened, and Platinum and Chase both walked in looking bad. "Guys, what happened to you two?" Ryder asked him and the pups ran to them.

"Nothing." said Chase. Then he dropped to the ground. Kari and Crystal walked to their brothers and looked at the bruises. On Chase's body there were claw marks, teeth marks and imprints. It was the same thing on Platinum's body.

"Duke, take a look at this," said Crystal. So Duke walked over to them and looked. Then they heard a yawn. Wendy started to wake up, and when she saw Platinum she started to cry as she walked to him.

"Platinum what happened?" she asked. But he just looked at her with a blank look. "So you're not going to tell me."

"He could if his jew wasn't dislocated." Brittany said as she looked at Platinum's face. Once Duke got them both into the health room, he ran some tests and walked back out to tell Ryder.

"Okay Duke what did you get?" Ryder asked.

"Well the marks on Platinum body are from Chase." he said.

"And the marks on Chase's body are from Platinum?" asked Rocky. Duke nodded yes. "But why would they do this to each other? I thought we were all best friends."

"That's what I want to know also, but they are asleep." Inside the health room, Chase and Platinum were still up and talking.

"Wait, you and Wendy broke up?" Chase asked.

"Yeah, she said that I haven't been that much of a boyfriend to her. Spending more time with you then her, and not being romantic when it comes to the dates and our relationship." Platinum said.

"But you still love her Platinum, don't let her go."

"I will always love Wendy but I'm trying my best to be the boyfriend she wants me to be. I'm just not. Her brother taught me everything about girls and how to deal with his sister."

"Wait, Wendy has an older brother?"

"Had."

"What happened to him?"

"He passed away after he almost got killed by another dog, and got hit by a truck."

"That's horrible."

"Yeah I know." Then Ryder and the pups walked in. Platinum and Chase got up. Skye and Wendy sat next to them.

"Okay you guys what happened last night," said Ryder. Chase and Platinum looked at each other and put a smile on their faces.

"We have no idea what you are talking about Ryder." they said.

"You have got to be joking right." said Rocky. So Trixie grabbed them by their collars and threw them to the wall. They screamed in pain.

"Start talking or the two of you are going to get hurt." Trixie said. Rocky pulled her away by grabbing her tail. Chase and Platinum got up. "Start talking. NOW!"

"We just had a small chat last night, that's all." said Chase.

"But how did the two of you get marks all over your bodies," said Everest.

"Yeah." said Rubble.

"Platinum were you and Chase fighting again." asked Brittany.

"FIGHTING!" said Ryder and Cleo.

"Brittany what do you know?" asked Wendy. Chase and Platinum looked at Brittany with a look like don't say a word.

"I'm not going to say much since I'm getting that look, but Wendy remember the story you told me and how your brother and Platinum's training. Think of that with these two."

"Are you kidding me Platinum?" Wendy yelled.

"What Wendy, it's only training."

"So instead of hanging with me you are with Chase beating each other up."

"Wendy, it's only training. I was showing Chase some of the moves that Lightning showed me. As leaders of the Paw Patrol and the Ninja Pups we need to stay in shape and make sure nothing happens to our friends."

"So now you care for us."

"I always care about each and every one of you. If I didn't I would have given up on the girls a long time ago. I would have never helped the Paw Patrol find Ryder, and we all would have been dead and up in heaven with your brother by now. Wendy, don't put the other girls into our drama because you feel that I wasn't a good boyfriend to you. And now you're feeling pain and loneliness since I'm hanging with Chase more than you. Come on, we are not those same small pups. You didn't like it when I was training with your brother, now that I'm training with another leader you are starting this again. Give me a break Wendy." Platinum calmly said to Wendy. Everyone was quiet, Chase stood next to him. Wendy just looked at Platinum tears coming down her face. In his eyes was pain and annoyed.

"Well it looks like you do have other emotions." Wendy cried and ran off. Cleo followed her.

"What was that all about?" asked Rocky. The other pups were clueless.

"Crystal what was Platinum talking about when he said we are not those same pups." said Azul.

"That's a long story there, Azul but I think Plat should have never brought up the name." Crystal said looking at her brother who was walking outside with Chase. Outside with Chase and Platinum they were walking around the Lookout since Duke told them not to go far.

"Platinum." he started. Platinum looked at him. "How bad was it when you guys were younger?"

"Chase, it was horrible. Me and Wendy would get into fights everytime we looked at each other. Wendy is scared of being alone. She came from a big family. So she was never alone and had friends there. This is what Lightning told me. She was told that she will never be alone. When it was just her and her brother wherever he went she was right there. Also she was younger than him so he had to take her with him. Once they found other animals around she wasn't alone. So he was able to get food. He found me and Crystal. I had no emotions after my owners got killed and were abandoned by my father. I never knew where my mother went. So I thought that she had given up on us. So I closed up on a lot of people and lost faith in others."

"Wendy should know that she's not alone any more. So has friends around her and her team."

"She does but not the two who care for her the most."

"Which is you and her brother?"

"Yes. Let's go Chase, we have to get back to the Lookout. We should go to our training place."

"I say training. It will help you clear your mind." So they walked off. Later late that night, the Paw Patrol and Ninja pups were looking for Platinum and Chase.

"Where can they be? Asked Rubble.

"Ryder come in."

"What's up, Zuma."

"I'm at the bench and they are not here," said Zuma.

"Kari, anything on the camera? Katie asked.

"No." Kari was looking. "Marshall, Everest, Trixie, Rocky anything?"

"Me and Trixie are in the woods and nothing yet," said Rocky.

"I'm at Mr. Porter's and nothing," said Everest.

"I'm with the police and they haven't seen them," said Marshall.

"Marshall asked Aaliyah if she had a clue where Chase would be. She knows him when it comes to him missing."

"On it Ryder. Marshall out."

"I got nothing yet Ryder." Said Skye. Crystal was thinking as well and was there for Wendy if is freaking out. Wendy was blaming herself. Duke was getting the health room together just in case they came back harmed.

"Ryder."

"Cleo what's up?"

"Me and Jayden found them. They look horrible and worse than before. We are on our way."

"Pups back to the Lookout. Cleo and Jayden found them."

"Got it Ryder." All the pups said and started to head back to the Lookout. Aaliyah was with Marshall. At the Lookout they were both out cold. Breathing heavy, bleeding, dirty fur and more marks on them. Duke and Brittani were working on them since Crystal had to take Wendy outside. Brittani came out of the healthroom.

"How are they?"

"Same as before. It must have been hard training or something for them to get this bad." said Brittani. In the healthroom Duke was looking at the both of them. Chase was still lying there with his eyes closed. Then Duke saw that Platinum was waking up so walked over to him.

"Platinum what happened?" Asked Duke. Platinum looked away. "For me to help you I need to know what's going on." Once he said that he turned his head looking at Duke. By the look of his eyes, Duke saw that he was starting to get angry and annoyed. Duke backed up. Platinum got up with the last of the energy he had left and walked away. " Platinum, you have to stay here. You haven't recovered yet."

"I'm fine Duke. Leave it alone." Demanded Platinum.

"But…"

"I SAID LEAVE IT ALONE!" This time he yelled. Duke backed up hitting the wall. Platinum was that loud that the rest of the team ran in. They saw Platinum by the window heading out outside with a beaten up Chase behind him. Crystal saw Duke scared out of his mind. As long as the Paw Patrol knew the Ninja Pups, Platinum would never yell or get angry.

"Duke calm down." Said Crystal. She knew that he only acts like this when something is bothering him. "I need to talk to him."

"No Crystal. You might get hurt." Rubble said while he was Duke since he dropped to the ground shaking in fear.

"I agree with Rubble." Said Azul.

"Same here." Said Everest.

"I have too. I'm the only one other than Cleo that can get him to talk. I see that he told Chase."

"How can you tell?" Brittani asked.

"Why would you think wherever he goes Chase is behind him. It's to calm him down. I did the same thing. When we were little, Platinum didn't get mad easily. He hides it but his attitude and actions shows how he feels. He doesn't know how to control his emotions. Platinum locks people out and that's how he acted with Wendy sometimes when we were younger. After training with her brother she will get upset but he doesn't pay her any attention. He told me once emotions are weak and will slow you down. Our owners wanted to get rid of him for that reason but because of me they didn't. So that's why I need to talk to him before things get worse. I mean mentally and physically. He could kill himself just by his actions and if he continues to train like this."

"Why can't Chase stop him?" Asked Marshall.

"Chase doesn't know how to." Said Cleo. Everyone looked at her. "I watched how Chase got up. He thinks by doing something he likes will clear his mind but saw that it wasn't working. Crystal, talking to him is not going to help. He's hard headed. He needs Wendy. She might be the only one that can get to him. Chase can't continue like this and neither can Platinum himself. Wendy, he needs you and only you." Then Ryder pup pad went off.

"Hello Ryder here."

"Ryder, it's Aaliyah"

"Hey Aaliyah what's up?" Ryder said as he put it on the big screen.

"Not good. Chase and Platinum are over here. One of the police officers found them by city hall. They were passed out so he brought them here. We need you here Ryder." She said. Wendy was about to cry. She felt Cleo by her.

"It's up to you Wendy." Said Cleo. So with that said the team went to the police station. Once they got there one of the doctors from the hospital was there helping both pups. Duke stood by Ryder. Kari, Crystal, Skye and Wendy walked up to them. Aaliyah told them what she knew.

"So they woke up once they got here." Said Crystal.

"Yes. Platinum told me why they were by city hall. Once Platinum walked away Chase told me what was going on. Then Platinum told me the rest. I just don't know why they will tell me. I'm not part of the team." Aaliyah said.

"Because since Chase trusts you so does Platinum." Said Skye. You've been close to Chase for some time to the point you have a history behind it. It went to the point it made me jealous."

"Wendy talk to him." Said Zuma. So she sat in front. His ears moved showing he knew that Wendy is next to him. Wendy put her paw on his back. Platinum faced the other way.

"He knows that you are there Wendy. It's part of his emotional behavior." said Crystal. So she continued rubbing his back as Platinum laid down into a ball. This was the first time that happened. That surprised Crystal and Wendy. It showed that he needed her and was relaxing. He laid close to her with his back against her legs. Chase slowly opened his eyes and tried to sit up.

"Chase lay down before I poke you where you're hurt." Said Aaliyah. "I learned that from Trixie." Everyone looked at Trixie.

"What?" She said,

"That's Trixie for you." Platinum said as he tried to get up and walk away from Wendy. Chase was getting up also. For him it was painful but he was able to.

"Platinum stop." Demand Crystal. He stopped once she said so. "Talk now. You can't continue like this."

"I know but this is the only way I know to deal with this." He said this without looking at her. Wendy got up and looked at him. "Training and thinking is the only way for me. Crystal, you know that already." He slowly turned to look at his sister.

"We noticed this but now you brought Chase into this. It's killing him on the inside." Said Skye.

"I know." Chase said, looking at Skye.

"Chase you knew. Why didn't you stop?" Asked Rubble. Duke looked at Chase and understood why.

"They are both doing the same thing. Thinking and not dealing with it." Said Duke. Then Aaliyah understood.

"Chase, so that's why you stopped to train with me when Platinum was with Wendy." Aaliyah said worriedly. He just nodded his head. The rest of them were lost. "Our parents have plans for us in the future. That's what bothers him. Once he found out from my parents and it was actually written down by Ms. Irma. The arranged marriage. They told the both of us one day. I was upset and told Duke the next day. I knew Chase wasn't going to say a word about it.

"I remember your parents saying something about that before." said Rocky. Aaliyah nodded her head. "All this time, Chase was thinking about that." Chase nodded.

"Dude. You are dating Skye now. How is this still bothering you?" asked Zuma. Chase looked at the ground. "Chase?"

"Because it was the last wish from my mother. My mother agreed to this as well. I don't want to disappoint her." Chase said, looking down. Aaliyah and Kari can tell that he was trying not to cry. Platinum noticed as well and hit him in order to stand tall. Chase did so. Ryder and Cleo saw and so did Wendy.

"Chase. Platinum. This is not the way to handle things." said Rubble and Trixie. Cleo saw the look at their faces. So she walked up to them. Her hands went on top of their heads.

"Boys. This is a normal feeling. Not wanting to disappoint a passed family member and pain for breaking up with the love of your life." Cleo started. Platinum looked at her. "Platinum. I don't know what happened between you and Wendy but your face shows it and so does hers. It's okay to show how you feel. Let others hear your voice. Don't be training and almost killing yourselves from this. It's to cause more pain and troubles to the ones that love you. Come with me to the back." Cleo got up and walked to a room with Platinum and Chase behind her. In the back room, they both told her everything. This was also the first time that Chase and Cleo saw Platinum cry. Cleo walked out the back room but only with Chase. The ninja pups ran to her.

"Cleo, where's Platinum?" The girls asked.

"He's still back there. Wendy go and talk to him. He is willing to hear you." Cleo said with a smile. "Chase, go lay down somewhere until we get back. We have to pick up some treats for the Lookout."

"True. Come on pups let's go." said Ryder. "Aaliyah, make sure he stays put please."

"You got Ryder." Aaliyah smiled. Chase got worried. "Chase please, I'm not that mean." He gave her a look." Quiet you. I will get you some water." In the back room, Wendy saw Platinum looking at the window. He turned his head and saw Wendy walking to him. He was about to get up and sit in the corner where they wouldn't find him. Just like in the Lookout. Platinum also sat or lay in a corner. Being an untrainable pup when he was younger his owners will put him in the corner of a room of his choice. His body was still weak but was able to do so.

"Platinum." She started to get his attention. He moved his ears but not his head. "Platinum. I'm sorry for all this. I didn't mean for this to happen…"

"Wendy stop." Platinum said, moving his head and looking at the ground. He didn't want Wendy to see his face. After crying for the first time in years he didn't want to show his red watery eyes. "You don't have to apologize for something that I caused. What I said to you caused all of this. Bringing up his name, training with Chase over being with you, the pain that I caused you for doing so and everything else. I didn't… mean for this to happen. Not talking to you made things worse. I'm a pup that doesn't show feelings and emotions like others do. I try to show something but I can't. Just like my father, a straight face doesn't show fear. Changing who I am is hard for me."

"Crystal told me. Why didn't you tell me? Half of this wouldn't have happened." Wendy said while walking to him.

"Because…"

"Because what?" Wendy sat next to him. He still wasn't showing his face to her. Tears started going down his cheeks again so he put his head against the wall. Hiding the tears was easy but his voice gave it away. "Wait, is Platinum crying?" She thought. Wendy wanted to move his head but he wouldn't let her. "Platinum, please look at me."

"I can't." he said with a scratchy voice. "I just can't."

"So he is crying." She thought. "Can you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want to show you that I'm weak. I have to remain and be able to stand up for battles if someone tries to harm my friends. Emotions make you weak. Not showing them will make you stronger."

"But not showing them will also hurt you on the inside Platinum." He didn't say a word. "You know that I love you and that I care for you. Hiding something like this is going to hurt you and me."

"That's why I said you are better off looking for a pup that's the opposite of me. I know he will make you happy."

"I don't want no one else. I want you Platinum and only you." Platinum just moved his eyes to look at her face. "So please let me see your face. So he rubbed his eyes and tears away and looked at her. Wendy could tell he was showing some feelings. His eyes were a little red but you can't tell. His cheeks were still wet from his tears. Once he noticed that she could see the weak side of him. With whatever strength he had left was able to get up. Wendy got up and followed him as he walked out the room. No one was there. Chase was asleep while Aaliyah was asleep as well. Wendy saw Aaliyah.

"How is she able to sleep like that?" Wendy asked. Platinum looked at Wendy then at Aaliyah. The pup was against the wall laying on her stomach. Her tail was hitting the wall and her head was to the side. Platinum just shook his but heard Chase waking up and so was Aaliyah. Platinum ran out so that Chase didn't see him. Wendy ran right behind him.

"Chase, do you smell something?" asked Aaliyah, who was still half asleep. Chase moved his nose.

"Only Officer Yak eating a breakfast sandwich." He answered. "I think it's bacon and cheese." Aaliyah smiled.

"Yum bacon" They both said and fell back asleep. Outside Platinum ran as far as his legs could take him. Which wasn't far. They ended up at the park. Platinum looked at Wendy as she was catching her breath. He missed her so much but he knew that she needed a stronger pup. One that can stand by her side and good leadership. If there was another version of her brother that would be her perfect match. Wendy looked at Platinum's eyes and saw the doubts he was putting on himself. His eyes and body language shows it. She moved closer to him and with a straight face she slapped him in the face.

"Platinum. Your actions are talking to me and I don't like it at all. You should never doubt yourself. You have others that believe in you. You have the Paw Patrol, Chase, Aaliyah, Crystal and all the Ninja pups. Even me." Wendy said now that she has his full attention. He was looking at her from a close distance from each other. "I love you Platinum and I will be there for you." She moved her head under his chin. Not realizing the last of energy Platinum had left. He collapsed next to Wendy and wasn't looking so good. Wendy knew that she had to get him back to the Lookout. Before she lifted him up, Wendy gave him a kiss on the lips. Platinum moved his paw to grab Wendy's collar and pulled her closer to him. Wendy felt nher collar move and also the kiss got deeper. Once she was an inch or two away from his face.

"Love you Wendy and I'm sorry." Platinum said and closed his eyes. His tail stopped moving and his chest was slowing down. Wendy looked at him.

"Cleo. This is Wendy. Come in please. Paw Patrol. Ninja Pups. Please, anyone." Wendy yelled. She waited for someone to answer. It took a sec til she got someone.

"What's up? It's Aaliyah. Chase is still asleep."

"It's Platinum. Something is wrong." She said,

"Wendy, are you guys at the station?" asked Cleo.

"No at the park."

"What are you doing?" asked Trixie.

"Don't question me right now. I need help." So they raced over there and saw Platinum and Wendy sitting by the slide. Wendy was rubbing his back. Crystal and Duke ran to him.

"We have to get him to the hospital now," said Brittani. Duke put him in his truck and took him away. At the hospital, the nurse ran him to the back. It took a few hours, Wendy was pacing in the waiting room. Crystal was laying on the floor. Skye was with Chase and had Duke with her. The doctor walked out and spoke to Ryder. Platinum pushed himself so hard that his body couldn't handle it. His body was weak and heart rate was low. He has to be monitored until he gets better. Then Chase walked in and he wasn't doing any good. Duke was trying to hold him back but from all that training it was hard.

"Chase? What are you doing here?" asked Ryder.

"You are supposed to be resting?" added Cleo. Chase shook his head no. "Worried about Platinum?"

"Yes. I'm going back." He said going past the doctor.

"He will keep Chase as well." The doctor said with a smile. "He looks beaten down." Cleo and Ryder laughed a little. Days went by and Platinum was awake and able to move but was told to take it easy and the same went for Chase. They were able to go back to the Lookout with their teams. Once they got back to the Lookout, Wendy and Skye ran to them. Platinum nuzzled Wendy. She forgave him but they are still not back together as one. So Wendy took them behind the Lookout for them to be alone.

"I'm glad you're feeling better." Wendy said, looking at him. Platinum looked at the sky. "I was afraid that I was going to lose you."

"I gave up on myself when I was in the hospital. Then I realized that I have friends who are waiting for me to return. The Ninja Pups, the Paw Patrol, Cleo, Ryder, Katie, Jayden, and most importantly you and Crystal. We went through a lot together, just the three of us. I wasn't ready to leave my love of the first fight."

"I love it when you call us that. Sadly it's true."

"And it's going to remain true until we fall apart."

"Wait?"

"Yes Wendy. I miss you and I want to be with you." Wendy kissed him and they were together again as one.
