A/N: Wasn't going to do a sequel to this originally, but I wanted to write a deranged Chat Blanc. This gave me the best opportunity so why not?
NOTE: This has blood, violence etc. This is leaning more towards the horror genre so keep that in mind!
00000000000000000000000000000
A frenzied melody and a panicked voice are trapped in the wind. Desperately wanting to be heard, but the wind overpowers it. It is faint, still barely audible.
"Dammit, Chat, fight it!"
The wind keeps pushing them back, it is almost gone.
A flash of white blinds him, and a tingly sensation overtakes him as a voice booms in Adrien's mind.
"Chat Noir…," Hawkmoth spoke with glee, "...or should I say, Chat Blanc. Bring me Ladybug and your miraculous. In exchange, you will be able to annihilate anyone who stands in your path to your love."
The wind's screams are getting louder, the melody only emphasizing it. The voices are being drowned out.
"Oh god Félix, what happened!?"
"No time Mari! Chat! Don't let him take control! Please!"
The voices can no longer be heard, the chaotic melody still fighting through the powerful gusts. It has no chance.
"I want it, that power."
"Then get to work Kitten. The faster you do the task, the sooner you get to your love."
The winds keep pushing the song back, it is almost gone.
Instantly, Chat's mind was engulfed by darkness, causing a splitting headache from the sudden shift from light to dark. The mask of the butterfly hovering over his face, he is under Hawkmoth's thumb.
Is he?
Chat calmly spoke, "I never agreed to get them for you. Only stated that I wanted that power."
"WHAT!?" Hawkmoth is livid, this is his closest chance to obtain his wish.
The butterfly mask shatters, leaving Chat Blanc to his own devices.
The melody has been snuffed out, the voices mute, and only the Winds of Madness plays its tune with the grievous-sounding bells. He is in control, no IT is in control.
Chat watched the two people in front of him with icy blue eyes, giving a Cheshire grin to the couple. On sight of his grin, Marinette booked it to her trap door, dragging Félix behind her.
Swiftly and with ease, Chat intercepted her escape, grabbing her by the shoulder and shoving Félix into a wall, a loud crack was heard on impact.
Shaking his finger at the girl, Chat calmly spoke, "Now, now Princess, you can't want to get rid of me that quickly, can you?"
He leaned close to her ear, his breath hitting her neck causing her whole body to shiver.
Oh, how he loved that.
He whispered, "Why don't we try a little date, hm?"
He tilted his head slightly, staring at her intently with a sickly sweet smile. She turned her head away until that was abruptly stopped by Chat grabbing her face.
"Oh, Princess," his grip tightened, nails breaking the skin, "I wouldn't do that if I were you. C'mon, at least have the common courtesy to look at your Kitty."
She looked at him from the corner of her eye, fear prevalent on her face.
He adores that expression. She looks ravishing with it.
He gave her a manic grin, "Good girl."
Marinette elbowed him in the stomach as hard as she could, then bolted to her trapdoor.
Hope this will buy enough time, she needs to transform immediately to save not only Paris but Chat Noir as well!
A sharp pain, almost like several daggers, dug into her arm, touching the bone on her arm. She shrieks in agony.
Nononono! She has to make it, we are doomed if she doesn't escape.
Her leg was hit next, causing her to collapse. Shit, shit. NO! Dear god the pain is unbearable, she has to keep going. Fight through it.
As she was getting up, she could feel him step on her back, pushing her down to the ground.
She scanned the area for anything she could use: nothing. There is nothing. She failed. Oh god, she failed…
"Now look what you made me do Princess," he chided as he watched the blood soak into her clothes, "You made me scratch that beautiful skin of yours. Tsk Tsk. You should know better, cats do have claws after all."
He forcefully jerked her head up by her hair, fixated on her face as he brought his blood-covered nail to his mouth, licking it.
THERE
Her face paled, her mouth agape as her eyes watered from the pain. He relished in her fear before slamming her face into the ground. The sound collision sent shivers of excitement up Chat's back.
That there…That is true beauty.
Or is it?
The melody plays once more
This is wrong, so, so fucking wrong
Chat was motionless, face contorting into horror as he bore into Marinette's being.
"Dear fucking god, what did I do? I'm so sorry, so fucking sorry. Let me-"
Félix roundhouse Chat making the cat fly into the railing. He then scooped Marinette and ran into her room. She is knocked out and in dire condition from what he could tell from a glance.
The wind silences the melody once more, but now the wind is stronger. A storm is brewing within it–There will be no way to break free if it continues.
Cursing under his breath, Chat chased after them. They won't get too far.
Oh no, you don't. I am not done with you both. I haven't had my fill of fun.
Félix can't run far, he has to treat her wounds immediately. He went into her bathroom and placed her in the bathtub, locking the door behind him and praying Chat didn't hear and go somewhere else to search for them. He kept the lights off and turned on his phone's flashlight to, hopefully, not draw as much attention to their location.
He grabbed all her towels and wrapped them tightly on her wounds to slow down the bleeding then scoured the cabinets for a first aid kit.
A soft hum echoed throughout, Félix's whole being tensed, his breath shallow. He can't discern if it is close or not. Regardless, he needs to hurry but be as quiet as possible.
Oh thank god , Félix thought as he obtained the kit, rushing over to Marinette to attend to her wounds.
He was nearly finished when the footsteps drew closer to the door, the humming loud. Adrien Chat Blanc was right outside, giving gentle knocks on the door in a rhythm.
Félix held his breath, staying as still as he possibly could. Whatever he could do to get that damn cat away for the time being.
Seconds turned into minutes, minutes that crawled by as Félix could feel his heart pounding against his chest, hoping that it didn't somehow blow their cover.
At long last, the tapping of footsteps can be heard leaving the door.
Even then, Félix sat motionless for a while longer, just to make sure the maniac wasn't tricking them. After another minute, Félix went back to treating Marinette, completely patching her up to the best of his abilities.
He let out a soft sigh, at least he finished it so hopefully, it will hold out until Ladybug's miracle fixes everything…
On the wall next to him, Félix could tell something was scratching it accompanied by the occasional knock.
The humming returned. Félix tensed, whirling his head to look at the door. When he did that, silence engulfed the area. Nothing stirred or made a peep.
Félix clenched his jaw, getting into a fighting stance just in case Chat Blanc breaks down the door.
Nothing came, for minutes. Minutes that Félix spent planning an escape route, all deemed too risky or impossible since Chat is staying close by. The bastard knew they couldn't have gone far so why wonder any further than Marinette's place?
Her parents are out visiting so they aren't in danger thankfully, but they can't try and call for help either. There has to be some way to get the hell out of he-
BANG
Félix jumped, biting his tongue to hold down a yelp.
Cackling can be heard from behind the door. Félix's eyes shot wide open. The white cat knew they were in here, probably the entire time-he just wanted to fuck with him.
The doorknob jittered violently, "Fé~," Chat sang out with a purr.
Remain calm and focused. Maybe I can knock him out and escape with Mari.
The door busted open but he didn't come through.
What the?
Tips of white cat ears came into view, twitching a bit. Slowly, Chat peeked around the corner to where only his cold blue eyes were visible, "Hewwo Féfé."
Félix readied himself, "Adrien…"
Chat blinked, giving a blank stare. Blinks again, again, again againagain.
A cheerful melody plays, barely able to make out its song among the gust.
Chat's lip quivers and his eyes swell up as he leans his back against the wall. His whole body tremors while he slides to the ground, holding his head in his hands, constantly muttering to himself.
Félix carefully approaches his cousin.
"Adri…?"
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry…"
Bending down, Félix hugged him tightly. He wanted to tell him it will be ok, he really did but when he opened his mouth, no words came out.
Chat eagerly returned the embrace, crying into his vest. The claws dug a bit into Félix's back as he bit his lower lip to keep from making a sound. Félix shifted his attention to his collar. If he could destroy that blasted bell, it will put an end to this charade.
The feeling of tearing through flesh, that rush filled Chat with a familiar sensation.
Its tune overshadowed once more with the wind screaming its track: MAKE HIM SUFFER
Staring at the bell, Felix's fingers wrapped around the cold metal, ready to crush it.
Chat's head snapped up, seizing his cousin's hand, his expression is frenzied as he flips Félix up against the wall by his neck. He tightens his grip, making sure to barely allow any air for his very dear cousin. He took a minute to soak in the panicked appearance of a normally level-headed smartass . He is sure his cousin is aware that he is trapped with no way out without serious consequences.
This made Chat very happy, grinning at that little fact. That, for once, he had the upper hand against him. Now, he tightens his grip on Félix's hand, nails digging deeply into them as well. "You almost had it, Fé. Almost."
Félix's hold on the bell fell as he hissed in pain.
"Good." With that same hand, he clawed next to Félix's face, grazing his cheek with it before moving to the wall, tapping to a hidden beat.
"Fé, do you remember when we used to play hide and seek as kids? How we combine it with tag?"
"Y-yes," Félix barely managed to choke out.
"Oh, oh, oh! I almost didn't catch that. You are lucky that I have the hearing of a kitty cat!" He twitched his ears to highlight his point, "Anyway, I miss playing it with you. You were so good at it when we were kids and I want to see if the tides have changed since we are older. You hide and I seek! If I catch you…"
Chat paused, building suspense while waiting for the other's anxiety to swallow him. Which is working marvelously, the face that Félix is portraying, one showing pure dread, biting his lip so hard that blood is trickling down his chin. Excellent.
"...I'll kill you." Chat finally finished with a cheeky grin.
Félix's face contorted into one of anguish, now vigorously reaching for the bell. The cat backed away, just far enough to where Félix's fingertips can brush it – its frantic jingling resonating throughout the bathroom.
"For whom the bells toll," Chat sang, boring into Félix with a sinister grin.
From the wall, Chat brings his claw to the bell, and Félix's eyes follow as well.
The crazed cat stares at Félix.
" It tolls for thee," ringing the bell while he spoke.
Chat heard Félix take a sharp breath making the cat laugh at his dismay.
Félix glared, a glint of fear dancing in his eyes as he spits blood on Chat's face.
Wiping the blood, Chat narrowed his eyes. He was irritated, oh so irritated, however, his cousin will get what is coming to him very soon.
"Oh wow, what a gentleman you are," he said sarcastically.
Chat swiftly and smoothly obtained both of Félix's wrists then removed his belt and tied them together.
He hoisted Félix over his shoulder, walking towards Marinette's room, "We need to go somewhere else for our game but I can't have you trying anything while I carry you."
His cousin struggled to free himself, kicking, slamming his tied fists and it was all futile.
They tickled. Nothing Félix can do compares to what Chat deals with almost daily.
Once on the balcony, Félix seem to have either given up or was scheming. Chat assumes the ladder.
"Where are we going Adri?"
Chat jumps off the railing and begins to vault. "We are going to the woods Féfé. Can't have a fun game of hide and seek indoors or with too much clear, open space, no?"
"Out in the open where there is a high probability of losing me?"
Chat snorted, "Cute that you think that will happen." He dug his claws deep, earning a hiss from the captured blond. "Honestly, I am doing it to give you a better chance dear cousin."
To give you hope before I shatter it. Those who carry hope always give the best expressions. Oh, the face you will make…I am ecstatic to witness it.
"Gee, thanks so much." Chat could imagine the eye roll that Félix gave as he sarcastically told him that. What a jackass.
Chat landed outside of town in a densely wooded area. He sat Félix down who, surprisingly, didn't attempt to run away. Probably knew that if he did, it could be the end for him-which was true to a degree.
But Chat did mean that he wanted to have some fun before offing him. He wants to watch his cocky cousin squirm under his thumb, giving such wonderful reactions to everything he is about to do to him.
GOD.
He can barely contain his excitement.
Chat snapped his fingers, "Listen up, the rules are very similar to what we had as kids. You run and hide. Since I am a generous soul, I'll give you five minutes to hide with my eyes closed before I can go and search for you. Even if you are found, I have to tag you before I win. You have the entire woods to work with, playing dirty is fine too. Got that?"
Félix gave a curt nod, Chat can tell he is plotting something, scheming like he always does. Clever little thing.
"By the way," Chat added making Félix perked up a bit, "I expect you to play dirty but when don't you play dirty anyway? Especially when your life is on the line Féfé." Chat rang the bell once more, giving a malicious glint.
"Adri, I know you don't want to do this. That is the Akuma talking."
Chat quirked a brow, "Oh Fé, Hawkmoth has no control of me." He gave Félix a demented smile, "This is all of my own, free will."
"You are being warped by the Akuma regardless even if Hawkmoth isn't in the reins. Are you going to submit to this like you submit to your father's whim?"
Instantly, Chat slammed Félix against a tree, getting in his face. His cousin's glare never faulting from his own.
"Know your place," Chat growled, cutting the binds with his claw and then throwing Félix to the ground. Jackass.
"You have five minutes before I come after you. I suggest you use them wisely," Chat warned, turning to face the tree and closing his eyes. He could hear Félix shuffling on the ground then silence. His cousin hasn't moved much which is quite peculiar.
There was no movement for seconds, Chat wiggled his ears, still, nothing could be heard in the vicinity.
Unexpectedly, something weighed Chat down by his collar. His eyes shot open, face to face with Félix who was latched on to his bell while making both of them plummet to the ground.
Shit! He must have moved close enough and jumped to the bell.
The chime of the mumbled ringing carried while Félix tugged at it, cursing under his breath all the while. Chat snarled, the sound of metal being pressed causing a sense of urgency as he kicked Félix in his gut. The blond coughed up blood but never released his hold, crushing the object more to the point where you can hear it faintly shatter. In a panic, Chat headbutted Félix, dazing him enough to push him off. Chat quickly backed away and then examined the object, it had pieces falling off but it was still intact for the most part. Thank god.
Enraged, Chat rams Félix against the tree, baring his fangs. "You're testing my patience Félix," he spat out. "However, you are lucky that I am such a generous little kitty cat! I will give you another chance but you will only get three minutes instead of five since you squandered my kindness the first go around."
Chat set him on the ground, shooing him away as he went to the tree again, but he put his hands around the bell to make sure his cousin couldn't try that little stunt.
This time, Félix didn't stick around, he sprinted deep into the woods.
Good, flee you bastard, thought Chat as his ears twitches from the noise. He can hear the direction Félix is going quite effortlessly so it shouldn't be difficult to locate him no matter where he hides.
Just a little bit longer, then he can begin the torture. God, the idea alone felt exhilarating enough to make him seem like he was on cloud nine.
A disgustingly sweet song abruptly penetrated his mind. The world is spinning and his right temple is severely throbbing making him want to vomit. Not this again!
He held his head, kneeling on the ground, mouth agape as he breathes heavily. A death-curling scream thunders throughout the area.
"Get out, get out get out!"
"No, you leave! This is my body!"
"You lost it! I own it now! It is under my control bastard. "
"Not if I can help it!"
One of his hands touches the bell, "Cata-"
"The hell you are!"
He repeatedly bashes his head into the tree in front of him. Quite grateful to be in this form or he would be gushing oh, so much blood.
There is only the wind and the gentle sound of bells. The melody has ceased, for now.
He sat there and recomposed himself. He twitched his ears, Félix is still running but he made it further than he expected. I guess the adrenaline will do that I suppose.
It has definitely been longer than the time he gave but whatever. Not like it will matter anyway, the outcome will be the same.
A gave a sinister grin, "Ready or not, here I come."
00000000000000000000000000000
Marinette woke up to someone poking her face, feeling extremely lightheaded as she grimaced from pain. She let out a groan and opened her eyes to see Tikki giving her a worried expression.
"Oh, thank goodness you are awake! Félix has been kidnapped by Chat Blanc!"
Oh no. Who knows what Chat Blanc may do to Félix if he did this to her!
She shook her head, it made the room spin. She was barely in any condition to fight a crazed Akuma but what choice did she have? She must save Félix from Chat Blanc and all of Paris too!
"Tikki, is there anything you may have heard or seen that may give me an idea on how to find them before I transform?"
The kwami pauses, thinking her question over, "Yes, I saw Chat carrying Félix north-west off of your balcony and mentioning going to play hide and seek."
She nodded and breathed out, "Tikki, spots on." Transforming into her superhero alter ego, she sat up and stepped out of the tub. She can't feel the injuries on her leg but once she is out, however…It will be much, much worse than what she started with.
She needs to do it in one fell swoop, use her cure without turning back to heal the damage to her and Félix. If he is al- No, he will be. He is cunning but hopefully cunning enough to buy enough time to locate them!
On her balcony, Ladybug surveyed the direction while mulling over the information she was told. There were woods in the distance, that would be the perfect place to have that sort of game.
She didn't want to use her power just yet, she wanted to find them before doing it. Five minutes is a tight time frame and she doubts she will be able to transform again once pure agony hits her in her civilian form. She will have to do it when she approaches them.
Ladybug swung off her balcony towards the woods, "Please be ok…"
00000000000000000000000000000000000
That scream, that scream resonated throughout the woods brought chills to Félix. It sounded like Chat, maybe, just maybe Adrien regain consciousness. He is PRAYING that he has.
After that scream, the only noise that could be heard was the crunching of leaves and twigs from his sprinting. Félix just kept going as fast as he could in the direction of town. He has to get the hell out of here and find Ladybug as soon as possible.
The chiming of a bell rang, bringing a shiver up his spine. Chat was on the hunt, Adrien most likely couldn't regain control…He needs to hide before it is too late. Quietly, he concealed himself within a thick bush, trying to steady his heavy breathing and his hammering heart. He put a hand over his mouth and nose for good measure.
Humming.
He could faintly hear it accompanied by a bell which is getting louder with each passing second. The maniac is approaching his location but he remained hidden. Thank god he did because the snapping of twigs was close to him, maybe around a few feet away.
The humming gained volume as he drew near, Félix held his breath and remained motionless. He was sure Chat could pick up on anything and didn't want to risk his cover.
He was next to him, the insane cat was next to him. The humming was ear-piercing as he willed his heart to stop beating against his chest. The ruffling of the leaves above him gave him a horrid feeling in the pit of his stomach then instant silence.
A deafening silence that lasted for minutes. He didn't want to move, he never heard Chat wander off after all. The bastard could still be lingering around him for all he knew.
He took shallow breaths through his nose, his hand still covering his lower face. Anxiety is tearing into his mind. No, he needs to remain calm. If it overtakes him, then he will become irrational and that was not what he requires at his time.
Think, think. What can be possibly done here!?
He could peek through the leaves, but the branches are surrounding him. With how quiet it is, he would easily alert the cat to his location, ending it there. There was just making a mad dash but he HIGHLY doubt he could outrun someone with superhuman abilities even if he was no slouch.
Outsmart him, very possible.
Chat still carried Adrien's trusting nature in a weirdly demented way. A few words and he might be able to get close enough to destroy the akumtized object. Although he did piss off Chat, so he may have used the last of his good graces thus there is still a huge liability with that plan as well.
Sadly, that was his best shot at making it out with few issues. Now, he just has to figure out where Chat is and how to coax him into getting close, unless…
Adrien! Of course! His cousin is still somewhat conscious in this Akumized state. That is his ticket to ending this nightmare.
Ding, ding
The ringing of the bell caused Félix to snap out of his stupor. It kept ringing constantly then, out of the blue, it stopped. Félix shifted his hand from his lap to the ground where he felt some plastic brush against his fingertips. He looked down, there were several blue Jolly Ranchers just laying there. His eyes widen as his stomach twisted into knots.
The bell chimed right behind Félix's head as a white leathered hand placed another Jolly Rancher in the pile. God knows how long he has been doing that without Félix noticing it…
His hot breath touched Félix's neck, giving him goosebumps throughout his body. It continued for what felt like hours to Félix.
"Hi~" the voice sang into Félix's ear. The boy tensed up as humming filled his ear.
They both were stagnant: Félix didn't flee while the mad cat didn't dispatch him, just continuing his humming. Félix's mind was running a mile a minute, all of it extremely scattered.
Whether it was burning curiosity or courageous stupidity, Félix finally turned his head just enough to look behind him making eye contact with Chat who was poking his head through the leaves. Icy blue eyes studied Félix as his pursed lips stretched into a deranged smile showing off his fangs, a smile that seemed inhumanly possible.
This caused Félix to bolt out of the bush in the direction of the town, the adrenaline pumping through his veins. Laughter engulfed the woods followed by the bell jingling violently.
The hunt has resumed.
Félix never looked behind him, his lungs were on fire. In the distance, singing filled the woods with the chimes, "For whom the bell tolls~"
Félix tripped over a branch, landing face-first in the dirt. Shit shit shit shit!
He hastily stood up but something seized his leg, dragging him back to the ground. The bell dinged softly.
"It tolls for thee."
Félix shrieked in pain as claws delved into his leg, tearing down his leg. He kicked Chat's arm which seems to be only encouraging the cat to keep going.
Closer, closer.
Chat was dragging him towards him, Félix spun around and kicked as hard as he could at the bell, praying that it was enough to free his cousin from this insanity. To his despair, Blanc was still there, giving a smug smile. The bell cracked a bit more but that was it. It wasn't enough to release the Akuma.
Félix's breath hitched as a lump formed in his throat. Claws lightly traced a heart in the middle of his chest before stopping on top of his hammering heart. He tapped the nail there.
"I"
Tap
"Could"
Tap
"End"
Tap
"It"
Tap
"Here"
Then Félix reached for Chat's arm and Chat lunged and pinned the boy to the ground.
"Patience, Fé. The time will come soon."
CRACK
Félix screams filled the woods when Chat broke his arm which was quickly silenced when Chat began choking him. Right when he was about to black out, Chat released his hold. Félix greedily inhaled, taking in as much air his lungs could handle.
There was pressure on Félix's chest as Chat shifted to sitting on it. The cat clenched his face by his jaw and with the other hand, held open one of his eyelids. His pointer finger drifted closer to his eye, lowering the nail above it. Félix's focused on the claw, his expression twisting into fright.
"I would stay very still if I were you Fé," Chat taunted with a grin. He tightens his grip on the jaw, his claw grazing his cousin's eye. His cousin involuntarily flinched from the touch causing the claw to poke it more. Félix's gritted his teeth muffling a yell from the intrusion.
Chat shook from pure ecstasy. He gawked at his cousin's reaction, his imagination was so feeble compared to the real thing.
But.
He was done with this game. Time to finish this.
Chat's hand covered Félix's nose and mouth, smothering him with claws tearing his skin.
"Oh, that expression suits you Fé!," Chat cooed.
He leaned in close, giving a nefariously sweet smile, "I want to see your death mask."
There! There was that delightful expression, better than the last one too! One that carried dimmed eyes that portrayed hopelessness bundled in pure and utter anguish.
The screams under his hand? Fucking music to his ears.
He's struggling to break free, fighting to the bitter end. That fire, that spark will make this all the more satisfying.
Oh, how he ADORED it all, from his devious cousin no less!
What a day, what a joyous day!
The light can be seen fading in Félix's eyes, his fight dwindling as he could hear his heart slowing down. His cousin gave him stared at him with glazed eyes, ones that didn't carry dread but sympathy?
Chat scowled, "Why are you giving me that look!? You should be petrified that you are going to die!"
Félix's face is paling, the end is neigh.
Wait, no no nononononononono.
The melody roared to life, overpowering the winds of madness with its pleasant song.
This is your last chance.
This is my body, my mind. You will not overtake it!
Chat removed his hand and sheer panic overtook him, "Oh god, oh god! Please, please be ok Fé!"
He noticed Félix's chest ascend and descend. It was slow but steady. Relief washed over him and a small smile formed.
Coughing cut through the dead stillness of the woods. Chat tackled Félix and hugged him tightly, muttering an apology through sniffles.
Félix's whole body tensed, he was still in a bit of a daze, trying to get his barring from almost being suffocated.
What he could tell, Adrien was in control. For how long? Who knows but he is aware that this will be his last chance to break the bell.
Félix gave soothing motions on his cousin's back, mumbling, "It's ok," in a wavering voice as he reached for the bell. He brushed against the bell, the ringing catching Adrien's attention.
Chat stiffened, sitting straight up and glared at the cursed object. Félix froze, unsure if Adrien was about to switch back to the murderous lunatic at any moment.
A whisper summoning his powers could barely be heard as Chat's hand emitted a white glow. He brought the hand to the bell. He could feel the winds of madness scratching at the corner of his mind, aiming to command his body.
Chat gasped as he touched the bell and dissolved it to reveal the Akuma. The cousins watched it fly away until Félix snatched it with his hands. He held it between his hand, hissing.
"We have to find Ladybug! She has to purify it to heal Marinette!" Félix exclaimed.
Chat's face twisted into shock, "Marinette? Is she ok!?"
Félix frowned, "Just go and find her! I am not sure how long I can hold on."
Chat gulped, nodding to his cousin.
When he was about to leave, a speck of red came into view in the sky.
"Ladybug! Down here!" Chat shouted, waving his arms to get her attention.
Ladybug landed and threw her yo-yo at Chat's legs, tripping him and lunging at him to put him in a chokehold.
"Mari, he is fine. I promise!" Félix informed, glancing at his cousin's predicament, "I have the Akuma in my hands, please purify it because this shit smarts!"
She turned to Félix, his state brought out a gasp of horror. She retracted her yo-yo and threw it in the air, the stream of ladybugs swarming the trio and healing all their injuries. They never left and vanished once the job was complete.
Félix took note of that, finding it odd how they didn't go off to Marinette's place. How the bugs went around Ladybug's leg, the same leg that Marinette was injured on. Why would she need it? She never fought him and she just arrived. The gears started to turn as he looked to Adri-I mean Chat Noir then back to Ladybug. Was it possible that Mari-...
He hopes not, but it is possible.
The sound of someone grunting knocked him out of his thoughts. Chat Noir sat in front of him. He opened Félix's hand, placing something in it before closing it.
Félix already knew what it was before even seeing it. Regardless, he opened his hand to reveal a blue Jolly Rancher. Félix chuckled, locking eyes with Adrien whose eyes held such remorse over everything that transpired.
He knew Adrien wouldn't have done this of his own accord, even fighting back when he could.
Félix gave a warm smile, leaning into Chat's ear to whisper,
"You are forgiven, Adri."
