Days later

Kim final awoke to Jason staring at her, she burst into tears

"This is not him, he would never break my heart, why"

"I'm sorry Kim I read the letter. I called him and he would not talk to me about you, he was mad. I rang a few of the others but as soon as I said your name they told me they would not answer anything. I am sorry Kim"

"He is my soul mate"

"And he is the father of your child"

"What are you talking about"

"Kim when did you sleep with Tommy as you are almost 13 weeks along"

"I'm on the pill he used ..."

"Kim"

"We were safe Jason he used protecting, I love him so much he is my forever I need him."

Jason sighed he knew they were meant to be, he saw it the first day they laid eyes on each other. He also knew the prophecy around them the Falcon and Crane finally joining as one would bring forth the Phoenix. The child to end all evil.

Now he knew it meant her pregnancy.

"Kim once you are discharged, you are coming to live in my apartment for awhile. No you will need to rest for a couple of days then we will work on a plan to get you and Tommy back together."

She wanted to argue but instead she said, "Thank you big Brother. I am sorry I disappointed you"

"Kim you could never disappoint. My guess was this pregnancy was meant to be"

"Do my parents know Jason?"

"No neither one has rung or showed up. My parent rang I told them you had a fall. They told me to tell you if you don't want to stay here they will go to the court to be your guardians until you are 18"

"I wish I had your parents Jason."

"My little sis I have told them to go ahead with it. I'm going to start uni shortly and they will help and look after you with school and anything else"

"Jason (she burst into tears) thank you"

"What about Tommy?"

"He need to know that he is going to be a father, I will call and write to let him know. If he doesn't want anything to do with the baby that's fine I can do it by myself"

Jason nodded.

2 Weeks later Kim had sent several letters and called Tommy several time, all communication was ignored. She tried the gang but even they ignored or said they were not getting involved, even Billy had surprised her she thought maybe he would listen since he had known her forever but he hung up on her.

Jason tried to keep Kim positive as he was warned by the doctor the pregnancy was the only reason why she was still alive. Kim accepted that the pan games were over for her and now she needed to get her school work completed and find a new career path so she dove into her studies.

Weeks later

Kim was 20 week pregnant and had a very small baby bump that she was still able to cover with loose tops. She was still very pale and her heart still hurt from what Tommy had done to her. Jason had been invited back by a friend to go scuba diving and invited Kim as they use to go all the time when they were living in Angel Groove.

As were coming out of the airport Kim turn to Jason "hopeful we don't run into anyone ..."

"Hey Jase" Rocky shouted out, "who is the pretty lady with ... Oh"

Kim turned to Rocky and smiled she had her hair cut from last time they saw her so it was now shoulder length, "Hi Rocky it's nice to see you again"

Rocky grabbed her for a cuddle, "What happen to you Kim you look pale and skinny (but then he felt the small bump) but you have gain weight in your stomach" looking at her confused

Jason piped up, " she has been .."

"I am pregnant Rocky" she said quietly

"What? Does it belong.." Rocky looking at her in disgust

"Rocky I'm 20 weeks pregnant and what do you mean it belongs to? This baby is Tommy we made it during the Christmas break" Kim starting sobbing.

Rocky grab her once she had finished her sentence hugging her firm and apologies into her ear.

"Jase why does she look so sick?" mouth Rocky

He mouth back, "She is dying of a broken heart the baby is keeping her alive"

"Come lets take you to my house Kim and Jason and I will cook you lunch" Rocky said

"Thanks man we appreciate if you didn't say .." Jason said

"All good" Rocky said still hugging Kim around her shoulder. He grab her luggage and led them to his car.

Rocky explain here was at the airport dropping of his dad and that nobody will be at the house so they will have peace and quiet. They got to the house and Rocky made them lunch Rocky and Jason polished the food off quickly, Kim was a little slower as she still was unwell. Once they had finished as asked to lie down and Rocky took her to his room to sleep so he could have a chat with Jason.

"Man what the hell happened why did she break up with Tommy?" Rocky asked

"I think you mean the other way around bro?" Jason replied

"No 7 weeks ago Tommy got a dear John sent to the Youth centre"

"What the hell, Kim got one too"

"Sooo?"

"Someone is trying to break them up. Shit" Jason replied

"So Kim?"

Jason answered, " short story she received the letter and collapsed in her apartment she was found 48 hours later almost dead. The doctor told me the only reason why she is still going is because of the pregnancy. Her and Tommy are soul mates they belong together and he won't even answer her. What about him?"

"He is angry but Billy and Kat tried to get him to date someone when they went away the first weekend (Shit Jason said). Let me finish Jase he is dating Kat now, (Double shit Jason said) and she is happy he just floats along"

"I want to hit him, why wouldn't he chase her, if he says he loves her"

"I think some of that is on us, we kinda accepted it and didn't push him"

"Now I want to hit you Rocky"

Rocky put his hands up, "Seeing her I truly am sorry we didn't fight for them to get back together , what is the plan"

"She knows they are suppose to be but she also accepts that if he doesn't want them she will be okay"

"But you think .."

"I think if he walks away, she will die after giving birth, which will be worse"

"Huh"

"There is a prophecy around Kim and Tommy, basically when the Crane and Falcon finally join as one the Phoenix will arise"

"Shit! The baby is the Phoenix"

"it also means once evil realises, she is pregnant ..."

"She is in trouble"

"Yes, so I won't be leaving her side"

"Well let me know if you need help, we have no enemy at the moment with the Machine Empire destroyed so she may be okay for now. Lets watch some TV until she wakes"

Jason spent another hour there before he took Kim home.
